Now I will tell you some of the reasons for the launch of the broadcast. Probably in September this year, in September 1120, I bought a two-story new house in Chaozhou, Pingtung as a lecture hall, so In fact, I have been busy with this legal affairs recently, but at the beginning of October, I accidentally saw Mr. Guo Wengui’s revelation on YouTube. His revelation video also mentioned that the yuan will plummet recently, and even It may fall to the point of disappearing completely, which makes me very alert.Usually I don’t pay much attention to political issues, because this is also considered the scope of the monks’ precepts, unless there is a special cause, such as saving sentient beings, because I have been busy in the legal affairs of the temple, so there is no such cause to go. The global situation is very tense now. It’s not safe to escape anywhere, and it’s useless to plan. People are not as good as heaven. , So we have to find the root causes of these disasters and the solutions to them.

(XNUMX) How to see the truth and find inner peace

In Buddhism, we are taught that the way to change the outside world is to look at the mind, because all phenomena in the outside world are all inspired by the human heart. The current situation in the world is so chaotic, which proves that the human mind is Corrupt, impure, fearful, greedy, and evil. So first of all, if we want to change the external situation, we must first change our inner heart. Then we can only manage from our own The mind begins to change, and it is impossible to control others.If our own minds are transformed, then even if the overall external situation cannot be changed, at least we ourselves in this group of common karma, we can also take a path of other karma. This is at least what we can do at present. .In this world, each person has some confrontations and struggles for various interests or differences in ideological values. This phenomenon has been unavoidable since ancient times. This is one of the characteristics of this world of Sao Po. As a spiritual practitioner or a wise person, how do we look at and distinguish between the right and wrong of the human races in the world?If we look at the Buddha’s mind and the Buddha’s standpoint, it is absolute transcendence. There is no opposition in the Buddha’s mind. All sentient beings are treated equally. Whether they are good or evil, the Buddha must save, and the Buddha will do it. Equal mercy, so if we want to change our external environment and our inner heart, we must have a Buddha-like mind in our hearts, so that it is possible to further transform the external environment and transform others. That is to say, in our hearts, there is no Being able to oppose anyone and anything, because there will be a kind of opposition that will induce a reaction, and there will be no way to solve the problem. Secondly, from the point of view of causality, no matter who is from the point of causation, it must be supported. Any act of justice can conform to human sexual virtues and natural sexual virtues because of this.

The reason why this world is so chaotic is that the wicked are often in power, the law is weak and the evil is strong, because the general human heart is indifferent, selfish, and timid, so that these wicked people can take advantage of their evil deeds. Keep growing, then in the end the result will still fall on ourselves, only sooner or later, so if we first understand that the entire universe is actually a whole of life, it is a whole existence without an individual, then we will get rid of it. A kind of indifference, a kind of selfishness, and will not sit on the sidelines with all evil people and evil things, and it is none of your own.For these evil people and evil things, when we look at the evil people, we will also understand and tolerate from the heart. We understand that they are just a momentary loss, and at the same time, there is a problem with a part of our own inner heart. It is not outsiders. These people are actually Being one with us means that there is something wrong with our own heart. Therefore, on the one hand, we must use correct and legal methods to stop these wicked people from continuing to do evil, and on the other hand, we must also find ways to help each other turn evil to good. Rather than having the intention of destroying the other party, if the mind and behavior of destroying the other party really kills all the evil people in the world, then the part of our own inner conjoined life is also dead, which is equivalent to saying that we Killing ourselves, then in this external behavior, we have actually become a super villain, no different from these villains in our eyes, so this direction and mentality are absolutely wrong, we must There is a kind of forgiving heart, first to understand the loss of these wicked people and their pain, and then further find ways to effectively stop and transform, help them to turn back, so that it is possible to reach a goal of a satisfactory solution, this is The Buddhist scriptures tell us a way to solve the problem completely, and it is also the truth.

In the entire universe, no matter what kind of race, they are all one and the same, and the same living body. This can be clearly explained in the current quantum mechanics, if we can understand it from this height. , So all the disputes and oppositions in the world can be diluted or even completely resolved. Then, as a monk, a person who promotes the Dharma on behalf of the Buddha, I don’t want to do too much about the details of these various right and wrong events. Comment. Although I know it in my heart, I cannot make more comments. Moreover, according to the precepts of a monk, I cannot directly participate in politics. However, as a spiritual practitioner and a citizen of the earth, I must follow my own method. To support justice and safeguard justice is also a necessary way to improve our own moral virtues. If we ignore all phenomena, our Buddhism and Taoism will not be completed. This is an attitude I have always upheld. So a few years ago, someone came to me to rejoice in some of the practices of the Belt and Road Initiative, and I also rejoiced, and sincerely hope that China will really have a very wise leader who will lead China towards democracy and the rule of law. direction.The teachings of Buddhism require us to treat all people, everything, and everything in the world with equal rejoicing, just like a mirror, no matter who comes to shine and welcome, and those who come will not refuse and those who leave will not stay. After leaving, the heart is also Being clean and spotless is the fundamental principle. However, if these behaviors in matters deviate from the Dhamma, then the same no matter the closeness and estrangement of the relationship, we still have to deal with it in accordance with justice, and we cannot be selfish, so we should If we rejoice, we must rejoice, no matter who it is, what we must stop, and the justice we must support, we must also do our part. Then in the end, the heart will remain pure and spotless. This is what the Dharma tells. One of our principles, and finally we have to understand that all dharmas are dependent-originated emptiness.

In fact, there is no pure and absolute right and wrong in the world. Everything is causal and this cause-effect is connected to the three lives. Then although the phenomena in the world are right and wrong and causal, their physical nature is empty, so in the end everything must be let go. Regardless of success or failure, whether life or death is connected, it is emptiness. This is a state in which Buddhism teaches us that we can be completely liberated. If all of us can finally enter into this emptiness, this world will really transform with the human heart. In the realm of the Buddha of Paradise, all natural disasters and man-made disasters will all show peace and harmony with the level of emptiness. Then there will be no more disputes. Of course, this realm is in front of this world, I am afraid that there is no Ways to achieve, but this is the goal we pursue. Even if there is no way to achieve it in this world, we can still aspire to live in such a world, or we can create such a world from our hearts, then no matter when, even if disaster When it happens, no matter what the state is, we have ended this period of life, and our hearts are still stable and peaceful. With such a mentality, our next life must be a very beautiful place.

Personally, I have been practicing Buddhism for more than XNUMX years, and I can say that I am very accustomed to seeing things in the world from the perspective of learning Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, so I can naturally and completely accept it from the bottom of my heart. As well as respecting comrades and friends, not only should we fully respect them, but also all sentient beings, whether they are good people, evil people, mountains, rivers, earth, flowers, trees, and even all living sentient beings must also have equal respect and Loving, this is the view of Consummation held by Buddhism, and it is also the key to quelling all disputes and confrontations in the world.What is the reason?That’s because in the actual equivalent of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, we can see that all living beings have equal Buddha-nature. Since they all have equal Buddha-nature, then of course they should be treated equally, even though we are in Externally, there are indeed individual karma that are different, but in essence, it is absolutely equal and indistinguishable in the physical nature of life. It is very important to understand and practice this concept of reality. If we really want to solve everything in the world. The antagonism and disputes also allow oneself to truly get rid of all inner worries. Then we must first establish this correct concept, and then you will quickly discover that you can naturally and without reluctance If you can respect all people who are different from yourself, your realm and cultivation will be greatly improved.

Of course, knowing that to do it in the future is another level of effort, so it will take some time to completely settle all disputes in the situation, because the ego of sentient beings is very strong and difficult to change. Yes, don’t say others just say ourselves. For example, we are all used to the traditional mode of male dominating outside and female dominating inside, but if one day, we suddenly return to the life style of ancient maternal society, just like we travel through time and space. The tunnel, all of a sudden, arrived in ancient times.At that time, men had to take care of their children and clean up at home, while women were the heads of the family. They were XNUMX% responsible for making money to support the family and protecting their husbands and children. Can we accept and adapt from the bottom of our hearts?That is definitely not possible, so it takes time. Let’s see that even in advanced democracies like Europe and the United States, equal rights for men and women seem to have received considerable attention, but if we look closely, in fact, in the bones, men are inferior to women. The phenomenon is still very strong, so it is indeed very, very difficult to change a person’s existing values ​​and various attachments. Therefore, we must also be able to understand this fact and be able to accept everything for a while. These opposing parties of ours can develop a tolerant and considerate mentality, and we should also be willing to give the other party some time and learn to use some skillful methods to gradually make the other party change gradually, instead of just arguing and explaining with the other party. , This is completely useless.

As for the question of whether to legislate to protect the same marriage, it depends on the cause of the world's common industry. As gay friends, if they feel the need, they can strive to fight for it in accordance with the world’s legal rules. The autonomy that everyone should be born with.From the point of view of Buddhism, everyone who comes into this life has his own mission and has the right to decide for himself what he wants to do and what he doesn’t want to do. If this reason is from a causal point of view, it’s because in this No one in the world can take responsibility for our cause and effect instead of us, even our parents. Since no one can be responsible for our cause and effect, then of course we are qualified to decide for ourselves how we should live this life.

If we are to look at a higher level of reality, everyone’s experience in this life is actually set. Except for some bodhisattvas who come back by aspiration, they are transformed by supernatural powers, most of them In general, beings have written their own scripts before they are born, and everything that will happen in our life after being reborn is actually just acting according to the script, one by one, so if we really want to change ourselves It’s up to you to cultivate the cause again in your life. As for when the karma of the retribution will mature, it may be in this life or in the next life. It depends on our own strength and determination to cultivate the cause. This is also completely There is no way to force it, so if we really want to achieve our goals, we must use such a clear mind and a long-term mind to cultivate the cause honestly. Then the process will not feel too painful, as long as we are right To work hard in the direction of the future, then naturally there will be a natural day.

Further speaking, if you are practicing from the perspective of Buddhist practice, although you do not oppose and respect the issue of same-sex relationships, it is actually not supported. This kind of non-support is just like Buddhism, and the same is true. Heterosexuality is not supported. There is no difference. Eros, whether it is the same sex or the opposite sex, is essentially non-good or evil. It is non-memorable, but even though it is non-memory, it is not evil. , But it will hinder our practice to get out of samsara, so samsara is the cause of all sufferings, so if we want to stay away from all suffering and get ultimate liberation, then we must get out of samsara, and lust is the main source of obstacles to get out of samsara, that is to say Lust is the fundamental factor that causes reincarnation. It is also clearly stated in the Shurangama Sutra that lust cannot be released without removing the dust. So in other words, although lust itself is not a sin, it will definitely hinder our spiritual improvement. , And even in the end, we have to get rid of all suffering and reincarnation. This is a fundamental obstacle, so Buddhism does not support it.Then this has nothing to do with discrimination or opposition. This is the same attitude towards the same sex or the opposite sex. Although it does not support it, it does not deny it at all and respects it completely.Why can it be fully respected?As we said before, every person writes his own script before he is reborn. Every person has his own mission to accomplish in his life. This is the autonomy that every living being has. No one can interfere, no one can go. Obstacles, no matter what kind of experience, good, evil, happy, or painful, are all that each person chooses and needs to experience. From a causal perspective, this is also the cause of one's previous life cultivation. This life is here to receive these retributions. We are only a retribution body in this life, that is, to play the role in the script. This is the reality.

It’s very clear to us in the Dharma, so being a practitioner, looking at sentient beings from the point of view of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, all kinds of contrived good and evil are completely without the slightest thought of interference, and can be absolutely respected, so if you follow From the perspective of spiritual improvement, of course, Buddhism still advises, whether it is a friend of the same sex or a friend of the opposite sex, it is best to promote and transform together on the basis of this world’s fate, just like Buddhism also has some Buddhaizations. Although the family already has a marriage relationship, it will eventually be able to move on to common practice, practicing precepts and purifying the body and mind. Then it will be more complete. On the one hand, it can also complete the karma of this life, and then finally all love and hate. Qiu, all these causes and conditions in this world are all transformed and sublimated into resources for spiritual enhancement, then this will be the most complete!

In short, Buddhism mainly talks about the cause and effect of the three generations. Everything is self-cultivation. As long as it is one's own choice, one can face all the good times and adversities happily, and can accept everything without complaint or regret. As a result, the obstacles in the outside world and the perspectives of others are not important at all. The important thing is that in the process, you must be able to truly control your own heart, know what you are doing, what realm you are in, What do you want, and in the end, you can continue to improve yourself in the realm. Life style, so I want to explore the differences and pros and cons between the two in a more subtle way.First of all, I want to explain why I use a tyrannical and strict Taoist style to describe the life style of our monks in the Chinese jungle monks?Because monks in life, work, rest, rules, thoughts and thoughts, as a scholar who comes to the Buddhist sangha to seek the Dharma, then all must be completely selfless, and selflessness is also one of our enlightenment and enlightenment. One of the important indicators, it is also a virtue requirement for the achievement of respecting the teacher and respecting the Tao. Therefore, as a dharma monk, if you want to live in the Sangha and seek Taoism and practice, then everyone must be XNUMX% in accordance with the jungle public’s requirements. Work, rest and precepts to cooperate, just as there is a saying in the jungle called listening to greetings, everything can only listen to the greetings above, and you can't have your own thoughts and opinions at all.At the same time, we must truly obey the teachings of our teacher, because we believe that faith is the source of Taoism. The realm that we will cultivate in the future is often beyond our own wisdom to understand and imagine, so it is true. It is necessary to fully believe in the instructions of the teacher, so that there can be a way to enter the Tao. This is why scientists and philosophers must start with doubts before seeking an answer, and they must also have very subjective thinking. The model is completely contrary.Therefore, the life style in the jungle looks very similar to the autocratic communist system, but although the similarity is almost XNUMX% in appearance, it is XNUMX% different in the bone. It is absolutely based on equal human rights. This is where most people find it difficult to understand and distinguish.Many people know that Buddhism has always advocated equal human rights. From the beginning of the Buddha's learning of the Tao, he focused on abolishing the Indian caste system and after he became enlightened, he can learn about the teachings and practices of equal and universal living beings. That's why Buddhism is fundamental Doctrines and democratic systems are relatively compatible, but there are also differences and advantages and disadvantages that must be observed in subtle ways.

Why do I want to discuss the differences and pros and cons between them objectively today?Because there is indeed no absolutely perfect thought and system in the world, the democratic system also has its drawbacks, and of course autocracy will also have its advantages. Therefore, it is possible to cultivate generations of jungle monks in China. The great monks and great virtues.But from the point of view of Buddhism, from the ultimate righteousness point of view, it is necessary to be able to use the law of cause and condition and the natural pursuit of human nature as the standard of determination. Then what is the standard of human nature's natural pursuit?That is what enables people to feel happiness, happiness, freedom and security from the heart. It is able to respect the autonomy and difference of the lives of sentient beings. At the same time, because each person has a different sense of karma in his life, he follows the principles of Buddhism. From a standpoint, in relative comparison, of course, it will be a system corresponding to a democratic system.However, the authoritarian system is indeed not completely wrong on a certain level, so my novice enlightenment teacher Shangjingxia Kong, the old monk, once publicly stated that he supports the traditional Chinese authoritarian system, because I personally used to be in the jungle. I have lived in the Sangha for many years, and I can really appreciate the old monk’s thoughts. The authoritarian education system he said has its advantages. I personally felt that it was quite useful during the first few years of my studies.

For example, all of us are lazy. If we can be under the strict control of the autocracy, we can quickly and effectively help us overcome some of the vices accumulated in our lives for a long time, and we can lay a solid foundation for our practice.For example, everyone will definitely have thoughts and ego. If one's thoughts are too strong and too free, it will be difficult to be taught, which means that it is difficult to achieve the goal of breaking the ego, and I am a monk. In the first ten years or so, under the teaching method of Master Jingkong, stay away from all world conditions, and focus on the Dharma wholeheartedly. This method is indeed very useful in practice, under the obedient style of Taoism. , Our six faculties are relatively easy to cleanse, and we have no thoughts of our own at all.But after learning a stage, I will naturally face a bottleneck. Only by finding a way to balance and solving the pain caused by all kinds of contradictions and conflicts.At the same time, I also realized that when a person’s life has entered a stage of maturity, that is, due to the differences in Dharma conditions, established Dharma conditions, personality, and comprehension in each person’s life, he will naturally come to a unique The stage of development, that is to say, from this stage of gradual maturity, everyone must rely on their own thought and strength to complete their mission in this life. From this stage onwards, no one has the ability to guide us. How to live this life, of course, there is no absolute authority that can help us solve all our life needs, including psychological needs, so I found that the rigid and authoritarian jungle education is no longer suitable. Everyone has different effects. At this stage, if we continue to force everyone to follow the jungle, which is formulated for the whole people, and is similar to an authoritarian system of education, then there will be a kind of A conflict in human nature can even kill a person's potential and hinder a person's natural mission in this life. This is a very serious matter.Therefore, we still have to follow a democratic rule of law that can follow the natural needs of human nature. Under this system, we can appropriately use some of the functions of the autocratic system as a supplement, but we still have to respect the laws of nature. Exercising behavior that violates the principles of humanity.

Here, I was originally just living in a tin container house in the mountains and forests of Taitung. Closed for convenience, I just wanted to achieve the fruit of Taoism without any distractions. Even though I could rely on my own independent exploration and operation, it was completely unexpected. Isn’t it amazing that you can easily make some money under the circumstances?This basic cause is mentioned in many articles on my website. It is basically to deal with a net wealth provided by a layman who wanted to protect my Dharma and livelihood. You don’t need much money. If you don’t go out, the basic expenses are less than NT$XNUMX per month. Most of the vegetables are grown by yourself. The spring water costs no money, and the electricity bill is very low. I have no plans to build a large temple or collect it. Apprentice, but it was to satisfy this layman’s desire to cultivate happiness, so I had to make good use of this offering, so I had to start thinking about buying a piece of land. On the one hand, I could retreat myself and start learning by this opportunity. Independence, on the one hand, if there is a destiny in the future, you can also protect other monks to live and run the Tao, and achieve the real merit of this layman.But then I considered that I was really free to practice by myself, and all the Shifang Dojos were free to participate in school and settle down, but now that I have a dojo, if I want to take care of other people again in the future. Now I have to make plans for the future food for the whole Sangha, so I will buy a small piece of land and include the money left over by several long-term Dharma protectors around me when I was spreading the Dharma overseas. In addition, in conjunction with bank loans, during the few years of my retreat, I would occasionally spare a little space. I bought a lot of real estate in Taitung. I plan to use these premises to collect rent to pay the monks in the future. The basic expenses of the dojo. Later, because there were very few monks willing to come to the Taitung Mountains and forests for asceticism, and I didn’t really want to take out the apprentices, I felt that it would be a little bit if I continue to manage these premises and leases. I didn’t do my job properly, so I sold it all in the next few years. I didn’t expect the house price to skyrocket in just a few years. Almost all those people who bought the house and land after buying it also thanked me in particular. And in those few years, I also accumulated some rent income, plus the difference in real estate sales. This is how my blessing was inexplicably inspired by my luck and the kindness of altruism at first. Isn't this a living example of cause and effect?Originally, I was just a person who was practising hard in the mountains. After I became a monk, I have always wanted to keep the money precepts. It can be said that I almost never really saved money. I lived in the Sangha after I was ordained, and I almost didn’t even have money. When he touched, he directly gave the monthly monies or general offerings to the dojo. Soon after he became a monk, he inadvertently offended him because he insisted on leaving the master to get close to the old Master Jingkong because he insisted on recklessness in his original intention. He has been a monk for the past XNUMX years. It’s true that no one really took the initiative to provide for, because in the past two decades, I have always been under the self-management of the Sangha, and the Five-Mao Party, who promised itself to be oppressing me on behalf of the heavens. All sorts of out-of-thin personality slurs and squeezed out the situation, so even if I have been working hard for more than ten years to sincerely and obligately preach at home and abroad, it is not necessarily that there will be many people to support it, as most people imagine. I, and like they have been constantly killing me and excluding dissidents all the way, even I feel incredible. In the past ten years, if I hadn't been around for a few poor people who had followed me honestly for many years. The students and their long-term protection of the Dharma, I may really be forced to return to the vulgar as they wish. No one will believe these things at all. A monk who has no status and no support for many years has been treated by a large number of monks. The five-mao party army of the regiment and the little bhikkhuni who have been completely stigmatized by some powerful and high-ranking leaders of the Sangha have never taken the initiative to befriend a person since I became a monk. How can I still accumulate some food by my name today? What?When I was a layman, I didn't have the ability to make a lot of money when I opened a store by myself. How could I be able to make it after I became a monk?If this is not inspired by the various causal cycles in the dark, even a professional financial expert or a mage who works hard every day to alms may not be able to earn it. This is my personal real experience, Buddhism talks about the three generations of cause and effect. It's really unbelievable!

Next, let’s talk about the Buddhist concept of money. Most people know that monks want less contentment; they don’t get rid of red dust, and usually they shouldn’t have anything to do with money. In fact, this perception is right but also wrong. , Yes, it’s true that people who practice as a monk should live a lifestyle that is different from the pursuit of five desires in the world. It is also necessary to make the effort to become a monk. This body must have a variety of tools to complete the cause of monasticism and to promote the Dharma and life. Therefore, in reality, money and monks are also inseparable.Personally, in the first few years of my monkhood, because I lived in the Sangha and supported by ten parties, I was able to keep the money precepts conveniently, and I never saved money. I truly felt that there was no need to worry about five buckets of rice. The sense of freedom and lack of want and fear, but it is always impossible to go straight and smooth in life, so later I have to start to deal with money personally. In fact, dealing with money is also a mode of practice. For practitioners, the best practice is in every realm and every moment in life, not just in the Sangha. The practice of the Sangha is only a very important period of time to lay the foundation for the world, but it is not the whole thing. Before becoming a Buddha, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the ten directions must travel through the world to cultivate blessings and wisdom, experience things and train their minds. After becoming a Buddha, they still have to come again with aspirations and combine light and dust, so the real vast dojo It's wherever there are sentient beings and not just in the Sangha.

The monks are practicing asceticism and holding the money precepts. Perhaps they are doing the Dao with diligence, but it may also be because they did not cultivate in the previous life, which is a manifestation of the lack of good fortune in this life.And the Dafu monks who practiced in the world by wishing to pray are not necessarily those who do not observe the precepts, do not practice, and love to gain fame and reputation. The main reason is where the money is used and how does it come from?Was it deliberately pursued or was it a result of resignation?If it is deliberately pursued, it is easy to prefer to cultivate blessings and waste cultivation of wisdom, and it is even easy to feel the cause of degeneration in the end.If you can feel it by fate, it is the merit that inevitably accompanies the achievement of merit. This kind of blessing is not good if you don’t want it, and you really don’t need it. Then you have to put more effort into proper operation or use It is transferred out, so right and wrong in the world are not the facts that can be seen only by looking at the appearance. Everything is created by the mind. The main reason is the heart. Then we can observe the actual situation of karma to see the truth. .So if you ask me, is it necessarily good for a famous mage so and so to repay his practice?I will tell you that I don't know. I have to really get close and carefully observe his words and actions before I can have the correct answer.If you ask me such a little mage, or even a stigmatized monk, will there be a problem? I will answer that I don’t know, everything must be observed in depth according to the ten-like standard. Only the Buddha's eyes can observe, but we must at least deeply understand the various causes and effects behind it before we can make a conclusion.In a word, Buddhism talks about the three generations of karma, everything is based on personal merit. The good feelings of good people are naturally good karma, and the wicked are disgusting even if it is blessed by the Buddha and Bodhisattva, you will have no blessings and you will face it again. miss.
