What should I do at this time?If we ourselves are firm in our faith and willingness, understand the teachings, and know the retribution of karma, we will know how to rejoice, but for those who don’t understand the teachings, and those who do not believe in our will, the people around us must be patient with her and comfort her. .

My grandmother is an example. She died at the age of nearly ninety. When she passed away, Ruixiang was very good, but her illness dragged on for nearly ten years, which was a long time, because she also made her... It's really too powerful to scold people, because the older generation, like the XNUMX-year-old generation, used to farm, so the bones are particularly bad. Now the old people are too, and sometimes the young people are also bones. Loose, so I walked later. When I was old, the bones of walking were particularly painful. The pain was very unbearable. Our grandmother used to be Yiguandao who did not believe in Buddhism. Later, because I became a monk for three years, slowly, it took her three years. Turn around and recite Buddhism. This kind of thinking is not true. It is reluctant thinking. It turns out to be an outsider. Knowing and seeing is not very righteous. When you are older, you can tell her. She also seems to understand what is wrong, but she just has to follow us. , Because I often persuade her to accompany her in reciting Buddhism, and tell her some karma, usually good will listen to persuasion, slowly listen to persuasion.

Sometimes I went back to see her for a long time, and she saw that I deliberately took out the rosary and read it to me to please me, but this was still superficial after all, that is, she wanted to read as hard as she could, and she had obeyed and followed the Buddha. I also live in Paradise, but when the illness strikes, the six relatives will almost deny her, and only I can read her, because I am her most dear granddaughter, and after becoming a monk, because I have practiced seriously for a period of time, my family treats me too. She can be treated as a master, and she will listen to her a little bit. When she is ill, she will still scold the people around her. This pain will not only stop reading the Buddha's name, but when I go home, our relatives and friends will He complained to me, "Your grandmother kept cursing people again, and then she didn't read the Buddha's name, she kept cursing, cursing some awkward things", and asked me to persuade her.

First of all, I will tell my family and relatives, I said "You must be patient with her and read with her", because a person suffering from a disease has no way to decide on her own Yes, she was not deliberate, so we must have more patience and try our best to accompany her to read. Like me, on the one hand, I will persuade her again. I will do both soft and hard. Sometimes to be tough, I will follow She said to me, "Your body has been used by others for several years, more than XNUMX years. Of course it’s not really scolding her, just tell her the truth, "Look, how long did you recite? When it hurts, I complained about Amitabha. People Amitabha is unconditionally trying to save us. It’s too late for us to be grateful. How can we say a few words? I’ll blame Amitabha for the physical discomfort right away, and blame the Buddha’s name for not working.” Sometimes you have to be a little stricter with them, but most of the time, you still have to say, “Let’s recite with you, and we must be rational. To be reasonable, Amitabha Buddha unconditionally wants to save us, and we have no other way to go. What else can you do besides chanting Buddha? Is there any way? It’s useless if you see a doctor, right? You complain It’s worse, you complain, you get angry, your thoughts have always been on your painful feeling, you will be more painful", you have to tell her this, and it is also true that you will be more painful, so we must hurry and concentrate If we recite this Buddha's name and divert our attention, it will definitely be less painful.

Furthermore, when we are very respectful and genuinely praying to recite this Buddha's name, we can feel the blessing of the Buddha's name. At this time, you will forget the pain, the sickness will be relieved, and even some people will recite it. It’s all right, the body is better. There are too many such inductions. You can also find some related examples to tell her. Cancer can be read as good, and it doesn’t matter if some of them don’t read well, she will alleviate this. Suffering, many lotus friends with terminal cancer did not take painkillers, and they were able to concentrate on chanting Buddha without pain. Others could survive. This doctor didn’t believe it. It was Buddha’s blessing. Tell her these truths. You can’t just follow her. Slander, I don't read it, play my temper, and then blame the Buddha's name for not working, you must first comfort her, let her stop the ostomy, and then persuade her to tell her these truths.

It’s not difficult. The most important thing is that we have to be patient with her. People need comfort from others. You have to say, "You have to be serious, you have to recite the Buddha and concentrate on it." The problem is that you ask her to do it by herself, but she can’t do it. She doesn’t have the power, no one supports her, and she’s so hard. Of course she can’t do it if she wants to, so of course the karma will be triggered all the time, even her mouth karma will always be created, and in the end she will not even recite the Buddha's name. So this is what we can do when we encounter this kind of situation. It is best that we should be vigilant when we see these examples. We must build up our confidence in this Buddha name as soon as possible, otherwise it will be our turn sooner or later, and many of us. Old fellow practitioners and presidents of this group have also worked very hard in reciting the Buddha all their lives. At the end of their lives, because the true faith and eagerness have not reached their heart, they don’t know what they are. They don’t feel it, and when they’re dying Before the emergence of illness and suffering, it is karma. When the karma appears, he is very painful. Then he takes the qi, and puts all the qi, pain and anger on the Buddha's name and says "Turn off your Buddha's name." He doesn't listen to the Buddhist scriptures. In the end, he died very ugly and did not die.

In fact, the Buddha is always around to bless us, but we can’t feel it. If we usually build confidence and believe that the Buddha is really protecting us. We believe that the Buddha's name has this power, so whether it is present or dying, any sickness and suffering, our current Buddha's name can make it generate power, not to mention the successive thoughts and thoughts, the sickness and suffering will definitely be alleviated and even healed. , This is the truth.
