Yesterday we learned from you. Many fellow practitioners have never heard of the cause of the initiation of the "Sutra of Buddhism". Today our president also said that he had never heard of it, and I was surprised, but never heard of it. After listening to it, I understood that the roots of this kindness are very deep.In fact, this sutra is not as difficult as we can remember, so yesterday’s lesson was mainly to clarify that the "Guan Sutra" is not a practice of the sixteen insights, and the "Sutra of Guan Wu Shou" has another name called "Sixteen Guan Sutra". ".
This is because since ancient times, many of his ancestors have practiced according to the sixteen concepts in the "Guan Sutra". If you want to practice insight, you can do it, because this sutra has two purposes: one is to practice the samādhi of the Buddha and the other is to recite the Buddha. Samadhi.But it is really in line with the characteristics of our Pure Land Method, this special method. It corresponds to Amitabha’s forty-eight wishes to save sentient beings in the ten directions. The original concept is to practice meditation on the Buddha's samādhi. This purpose is the most in the real "Guan Sutra". Core practice.And this point is very clear to us only by Master Shandao, the people of Amitabha's retreat who wish to come again.
In the past, the old monk also talked about "Guanjing" according to the four posts of Master Shandao, because "Guanjing" is very important. It is one of the three classics of our Pure Land Three Classics, but because the old monk he The main purpose is to promote the "Blessed Life Sutra", so many fellow practitioners are relatively unfamiliar with the content of the "Guan Sutra", and in fact it is closely related to our study.
Yesterday, I mentioned the origin of the "Guan Jing", which is actually very exciting and can be made into a movie. Moreover, Mrs. Vettich, the crasher, although she grew up in the palace, she is a hard-working woman, so we are actually too. The crash of "Guan Jing", especially now, although the kind of suffering we are experiencing is different from that of Mrs. Vettihi, the kind of suffering may be worse than that, so we learn this one. The classics should be regarded as teaching us.
As long as we think of ourselves as Mrs. Wetich, of course we should not be as unlucky as her. Having this son caused a family change, but one thing we have to learn from her is that when she is facing this kind of adversity, she is How to make a choice, she can give up all her glory and wealth in the palace, and don't want to stay in this world for a moment, so she asked the Lord to introduce her to a worry-free place.
This is called true seeing through. People are so bitter, and people who really understand suffering will see through. Then we are suffering every day, haha, and don’t know how to solve it.If we are really like Mrs. Wetich, you know how great this result is. Not only do we use this crisis, the so-called crisis is a turning point. When this crisis becomes a turning point, we can die in this life. Elysium becomes a Buddha, and the taste is the third grade of the previous generation.

Speaking of the third grade of the previous generation, there is still a little bit of leeway. In fact, it is okay for us to have the top grade. You are welcome! I am not deliberately encouraging you to increase your confidence, no, this is the truth, tell the truth.Because when Mrs. Wetich heard this sutra taught by the Blessed One to her, she immediately realized that there is no life forbearance. The taste of rebirth is the high-grade and high-level rebirth. In the seventh view: the Huazao view, it is very important. clear.
At that time, it was the Blessed One who blessed her to see Amitabha Buddha in the sky. Although we can't see Amitabha Buddha in the sky, we can feel the blessing of Amitabha Buddha with our hearts.So as long as we are able to sense it, we can now attain the Attainment Status of Immortal Forbearance, and then this Attainment Status, the result of the rebirth is the high-grade and high-grade rebirth.Speaking of this, some fellow initiates may have questions: Oh...how can imbibity forbearance be achieved? So here I want to make it clear to you, Master Shandao explained the "Guanjing", Mrs. Vettihi, who has achieved imbibity forbearance. , She belongs to the ordinary people, the fruitful status of the ordinary people, the letter of "belief".
What is its connotation?There is comprehension and tolerance, joy and tolerance, and faith and tolerance are the realm of the moment.She developed confidence, that is when we emphasize true faith here, then true faith, if you have confidence, you will like and be happy with the Dharma. This is Xiren; then understanding and forbearance means that you are truly confident, and of course you realize that Amitabha can save you. We, as long as we follow the teachings and practice, we can surely become a Buddha by reciting the Buddha. This is realization, and the realization through faith is called enlightenment and forbearance.
Master Shandao explained the state of immortality attained by Mrs. Vettihi. It is such a connotation, belief in forbearance, joy forbearance, comprehension and forbearance, this kind of taste, we can all enter into it, and we can taste it. Maybe the old Bodhisattva is easier to taste, her heart is relatively pure and simple, she is very happy when she listens, she believes when she listens, and she does not doubt when she listens, and realizes...It turns out that this world is so bitter, only Amitabha can do Save us, this is no life forbearance.
It's not the inanimate law-forbearance above the seven grounds of Ksitigarbha, the nouns are the same but the realms are different.But because this method is mainly for the special methods opened by ordinary people, the standard of its accomplishment is very low, or even without conditions. We have stated very clearly in the forty-eight vows in the previous circulation, we only need to rely XNUMX% on Amitabha. , It can be said that there are no conditions at all, so the inanimate Fa forbearance mentioned here is not that we have to get into this realm to be able to die.
No! By entering this state, we will be able to obtain a XNUMX% high-grade guarantee. I am talking about taste. This lecture for ours is an advanced class course. Not only do we hope that everyone will die, but we also hope that our taste will be in The top grade, this top grade top student, is to learn for this goal, so the theoretical part is a bit more, and there is less time to tell jokes as much as possible.

So don't be polite, everyone, when we study this part, we not only confirm that our method is sure that everyone can die, but also that the taste can be top grade. If you don't open your mind, it will be difficult for this method to get into your heart.In the past, the old lay Li Bingnan, when he accepted the old monk to seek the Dharma, he negotiated a condition with him. The teachers who the old monk was close to in the past: Master Zhang Jia, Professor Fang Dongmei, those are all great knowledge, and what they teach must be a very extraordinary truth. .
But the old layman Li Bingnan also asked him. I don’t recognize the past! This makes sense, because if you come to learn new things with past prejudices, you won’t be able to pretend to be in, so we have to remember in every one At the moment, when we learn this thing, we will relax our minds so that you can be blessed.After this Dharma has entered your mind, you can compare it objectively and objectively to see which Dharma you compare to.
If you block an idea from the past at the beginning, the Fa won’t enter, and wait until you want to think about it, uh...what new things have I learned, the more you think about it, the more time it seems that time has passed and you haven’t learned it. New things, because what you pretend in the process of listening and what you pretend in your heart are all past events. We are not talking about past events and never give up. It’s all wrong. It’s not like this, but let it go temporarily. Only in this way can our mind be broad.
Why this Buddhism uses the sea as a metaphor, that is, it can accommodate hundreds of rivers, our minds have to be so large to accommodate the water of Dharma, and all kinds of water of Dharma enter our hearts, so adjust this mentality so that each of us can follow Like Mrs. Wetich, we learned this from the explanation of Master Shandao, which is not what we imagined. I probably mentioned the structure of the "Guan Jing" to you yesterday.
(XNUMX) Listening to the scriptures to understand the object of the occasion
The previous thirteen insights talked about Dingshan, which was directed at Weithi’s petitions, followed by her petitions. Later, the second stage was the fourteenth to sixteenth insights, the three blessings of pure karma, three There are scriptures in the Fu Jiu Pin. This is what the Blessed One said from the beginning, but this is not the point. The real Blessed One wants to speak in his heart and circulate the points, that is, recite the Buddha and the method by name, as long as he believes and wishes to be famous. Then you can die, and you can complete the practice of this sutra.
However, those who can truly believe in true wish and hold a name must have a prerequisite, that is, the "Amitabha Sutra" says that "you must not live in the other country by virtue of less good roots and destiny." Therefore, this Blessed One must speak truth without asking During the Fa, He first taught everyone to cultivate the Three Blessings of Pure Karma.Therefore, the three blessings of net karma are also very important. Everyone should work hard to implement them, but don't worry about it. Oh! The old monk said that the three blessings of net karma cannot be reborn.Hearing this sentence again, this confidence has fallen to the bottom again, then I definitely can't do it!
Yesterday the chairman also reminded me that the old monk later said that as long as it is a blessing, the first blessing to achieve can be reborn, right?Could the old monk make a mistake?Of course not! As a student, we should never doubt that the teacher is at fault.I always think about, uh...what does the teacher say in this way, it turns out that we often remind fellow practitioners that we must be good at learning to understand the seasons and fate that the old monk talked about at that time, and what his inner intentions are and what he agrees with. In terms of what kind of machine objects are, this is very important.
If we can understand and observe objectively in this way, I know, oh, this is not for us, we must understand this very deep truth.Don't be obsessed with words like this. Look, then you can read the old monk's sutras carefully, and you will definitely find that the same problem may have more than two kinds of statements, but three or five kinds are possible. I only wanted to live in the world of bliss, and I didn't want to preach.At that time, I immediately let go of everything. I just didn't have a job, and I didn't need to resign. I immediately closed the door, almost a whole month without going out.
Eat...all the other housework is put down, just one person, just close the door and work hard, there are many realms in that one, and when you see the Buddha, you seem to smile at me when you worship the Buddha. I’m not sure, but it’s true. Very lifelike feelings.So afterwards, I also got a big heart. I used a loan for the first two or three years. I am not very rich because I will spend it when I have money. I am a person who can’t save money. The life I live is better than Wang Yongqing is okay. He is very frugal. I ate abalone and shark fin at the time.Amitabha, I am eating it as a snack, and I dare to spend as much money as I can. I have this personality and I enjoy life very much.So there was not much money at the time. At that time, I saved a little money. I don’t want to get a loan. My family and my grandmother said: What will you do when you get old? I'll talk about it when I get old.Loan, and then buy a small house to set up a circulation agency, and I can only get in and out of it wholeheartedly.
At that time, because there was a little balance, my aunt helped me take care of the interest income every month. After two or three years, I didn’t have any income. All day long, I listened to the scriptures and heard the law, and there was a magic weapon for circulation. .The generosity in those three years was really done quite thoroughly. Although I didn't do it in the tens of millions or hundreds of millions, I did it with all my strength, so the induction was also very strong. Later, I had such a good cause for learning the Fa with the old monk.

So during that time, I listened to a lot of old monks’ teachings, and I often heard uh~ how to talk about this today and that tomorrow, and the big difference is, for example: In the "Diamond Sutra", the "Diamond Sutra" is about empty , Then the Prajna Sutra, the Prajna Sutra; then the Ksitigarbha Sutra and our Pure Land Sutra belong to the two series of sutras, namely, there are free doors and there are doors in Buddhism.Then when the old monk is giving these two different sutra teachings...you will find that the difference in the teachings will be more obvious, so let's compare them.
So after I learned to teach the scriptures with the old monk, I have a deeper understanding of the principles in it. It turns out that the teachings should take into account the seasons and factors of various skill, so there is no fixed method for the law.There is really no way of fixing the law. If you cling to the words, you will die. You must die under the teaching.So we have to be smart, what should we learn, and what should we learn? What should we listen to? We should listen to what is meaningful, beneficial, beneficial, can enhance our confidence, increase our dao karma, listen to those words, and those words. It was for us.
If you listen to it and make you lose your confidence, make you annoyed, make you more stressed, or even a little desperate, study... alas... there is no chance for liberation, then you put these in, you are yourself Not good at learning, that is, good roots are a bit worse.So this is very important. Not everyone can understand this listening scripture. Many people hear it wrong, so it can't be achieved in a lifetime.
It’s not that if you really listen carefully, you can achieve good results, not necessarily! You see that many people, many people do charity, and many people give a lot of money. What is the result? There are many people like this.So we have to be careful. Often I think we fellow practitioners are really serious. We often listen to the scriptures and the Fa, but we must be good at learning. If we hear it wrong, we will die under teaching.

Then when I was waiting for the clean room in the lounge just now, I was thinking about delusions. Our delusions will inevitably occur. I don’t know what I’m thinking. Suddenly there was a voice. This ingestion caused me. Note that it turned out to be the "six-character hongming" voice of our public chanting Buddha.Uh... This voice suddenly attracted me and overwhelmed my delusion. I didn't seem to have this reaction yesterday. I didn't notice it yesterday.
What I just wanted to talk about today, I think it suddenly made me feel that our fellow practitioners here are indeed on the doorstep, like our chanting in various realms, and cultivating together is really... our President Yuan and Vice President Zhang, so Driven by the concerted efforts over the years, we fellow practitioners really have good roots. I heard a message from this Buddha name. It has a feeling of sincerity in it that attracts my attention and has the power to treat me. I was really touched by the delusion to interrupt, this is very rare.Everyone reads very attentively, and there is sincerity in the concentration.
So don’t think about sincerity. Our top students talk about sincerity, deep-heartedness, and aspirational aspirations. It seems that sincerity is very difficult. Sincerity reaches the extreme, the old monk once said: Zeng Guofan said that a thought is not born. Sincere.That is the highest standard. Sincerity does not have to be achieved. Of course, there are differences in the depth of this sincerity, but as long as we have the ability to focus, respect and do something truly and sincerely, there is sincerity in the moment. Inside.So we can do this three-heartedness, and this is all set according to the standards that ordinary people can do.
So often the old monks talked about how we should cultivate a pure mind. This is a standard improvement. We try our best to follow this standard.It's necessary to do it, but doesn't it have to be that way? If we become virtuous and holy in this way, we don't necessarily have to go to the Paradise of Bliss. We will create a land of Buddha ourselves.Okay, so don't hit your own confidence, but increase your confidence. This is a very important learning attitude.
Okay, then we are going to start learning the scriptures of the high-grade ascension. Please put your palms together and turn to the fourth page of the fourth page and the scripture: Buddha tells Ananda and Vettihi: "the upper-grade ascension, if there are sentient beings willing to live Those in the other country have three kinds of hearts, even if they die.What is three?One is sincere, the two are deep-hearted, and the three are votive; those with three-mindedness will be born in the other country. "Good to see this short paragraph first.This passage can be said to be the conditions, methods, and theories of rebirth disclosed in the "Guan Jing", which is a very important light.Here it is very clear to tell us that a person with three minds must be born in the other country and be born at the top grade. This passage is a scripture on the top grade. Therefore, as long as we can master these three hearts, everyone can be able to be born at the top grade.
Just now, the old monk mentioned that the three blessings of the clean karma must be done to be able to die.In fact, as long as we have these three hearts to learn, we can know that there is no contradiction, no contradiction.Because when Master Shandao explained the three minds, he said: "Although the three minds are the top grade, they have the top XNUMXth grade, and they are all good at the same level. 』In other words, the conditions of these three minds, although he puts it in this paragraph of the Sutra of the Supreme Grade, but "all the way to fix goodness", that is, the whole sixteen views, including the three blessings of pure karma, all must have this. Three hearts, and then go back to be able to die.On the contrary, the first sixteen views, the thirteen views are for assimilation of goodness, and the latter three views are the three blessings of sanctions and purifying karma. Even if you have cultivated to perfection, you will lose one dedication, which means you don’t have this. Three hearts, that is, faith and wish, these three hearts are true faith, true wish! If there is no true faith and true wish, can we die?No! So in fact, the key to rebirth lies in these three hearts. With these three hearts, this paragraph tells us that you must be born in the other country. Without these three hearts, you can't be reborn. This is the key.

Does it matter?It doesn't matter!But it’s not that you just do it casually, don’t explain it yourself, you really have these three hearts, and the more true your faith and wishes, the manifestation of your behavior, whether it’s the Three Blessings or the good laws of the world. , These three blessings have been included, your behavior must be better, the two are one, inseparable, you must understand it this way.
If you truly believe in the wishes, you must work hard to implement the three blessings of pure karma. If you don't take these three blessings casually or even you don't pay attention to them, it also means that you have no faith in your wishes, so you can't die. That's what it means.It's not that Sanfu must do it, but you must do it and try your best.The old monk said that he must do that... He often has a frightening tone. This is also an emphasis, because some people and sentient beings need to scare you like this and tell you how serious it is.If you don’t study diligently, you can’t do anything. We have to understand the inner intentions and work hard!
Otherwise, I said all of a sudden that the three blessings must be done, and it is enough to cultivate blessings, right, what is the real truth? It is the condition of rebirth, and the key is to "believe in the wish", and there are people who truly believe in the wish. They will definitely implement the Three Blessings. Those who believe in and wish deeper, the more diligent the Three Blessings will be, the more consummate they will be.
This way everyone can experience it, so the key to rebirth lies in the existence of three hearts.There must be three blessings if you have three blessings, but three blessings do not necessarily have three blessings. If you have no dedication, if you are willing to go to the sky in the next life, or come to the world again, then the Buddha has nothing to do with you. How can you die? The same.The key to rebirth lies in the three-heartedness, which is "faith and willingness." Here, the three-heartedness talks about the deep heart and the heart that believes in the most. I would like to believe and do the same.
If you have true faith and eagerly chanting continuously, you must practice chanting in accordance with the teachings.It’s just that it emphasizes sincerity and sincerity in the Buddhist scriptures, because we want to be high-grade, so this sincerity is particularly important. Simply put, because top-grade is the highest standard, so your faith must be very true. And this is really not a thoughtless thought, but our ordinary standards can do it.

If you say low-grade rebirth or middle-grade rebirth, the taste may be half or half of your faith and wish. It may not be so earnest, but you can also die. As long as you have faith and wish, what you cultivate will get what you want.Therefore, the conditions for being high-quality and high-quality are especially emphasized and sincere, which is to tell us what is the key to high-quality?The same is inseparable from the letter and wish, but the letter and wish must be particularly sincere, special and true.
So whether or not you can die depends on faith, and you are XNUMX% dependent on the Buddha. We have made this very clear inside.But if we want to be high-grade, we have to ask ourselves, is this faith really true?There are deep and shallow truths. The depths are different. If we want to be high in taste, we have to work harder on our sincerity. We ask ourselves, not questionnaires, and don’t ask if no one raises our hands.Just now, an old Bodhisattva told me: "Master: I'm telling you. Actually, I have the confidence to die, but I don't dare to raise my hand when I see no one."
I told you that last time I talked about forty-eight wishes, and I have always been open, showing that I have the confidence to die. This is based on the basis, and it is also taught by Master Shandao, we must be thinking about it! This is also the case. Our practice, the skill of the Master Master’s teaching, is also one of our homework! Every day we think that if you can’t die, you really can’t die. That’s an obstacle.
Therefore, Master Shandao reminded us to think carefully, and he gave a special explanation in "Shu Tie Shu".We follow the teachings! Tell ourselves every day, tell others that we must die, and this is really respect for Amitabha, not a show off to ourselves! We introduce to others full of confidence in Amitabha and confidence in this method, others Only then can we have confidence and sincerely praise and offer to Amitabha.
If you don’t dare to bear it yourself, and you don’t have the confidence to introduce others, how can others have confidence? This is a simple truth.We are not trying to show off ourselves, because this method is XNUMX% dependent on the power of the Buddha, not our power. What good is there to show off? We are ordinary people of sin, life and death, and only rely on the Buddha if there is no way to go. This is the only method. Only then have the opportunity to leave, what we have made clear is the inability to leave, what can ordinary people show off!
Therefore, to speak of confidence is to have no doubt about Amitabha's will power, compassion for Amitabha's ability and wisdom, and no doubt and confidence in this law.Of course you have to talk if you are confident, why don't you dare to talk?This is the best way to truly promote this method, and it's also what the "Four Tie Shu" talks about to be creative.Master Shandao taught us something like this. This is the mystery of the practice.If you think of it as I'm showing off, of course you are embarrassed to say that, let's be humble, and we need to be clear about this concept.

A piece of grass is more important than going to the Paradise of Elysium. How can this wish be true? You will know it as soon as you take the test, and you will fail the test immediately!
