This time we only arranged a one-night speech. This speech was decided only yesterday. I did not expect that our old fellow practitioners are very well informed. Some fans from the past have now appeared, which really surprised me!This also shows that our chairman and our general affairs. This is to protect everyone’s Taoism. It is indeed very carefully arranged. In just one day, our Fa conference today can be held in such a special atmosphere of gathering. , Very rare.So why is this lecture arranged temporarily?The main reason is that when I was studying with fellow initiates in North Malaysia a while ago, I suddenly received a text message from Singapore.There is a lotus buddy in Singapore who is very dedicated to support. He has been dedicated to supporting the magic weapon of circulating old monks for many years, and the monthly expenses!The basic cost is nearly XNUMX ringgits!Invest in this way to circulate magic weapons.
So last year, he heard the content of our "Forty-Eight Vows" and was very happy, so he has been very dedicated to supporting it.Then, because he also understood the cause and fate of my Fa-study with the old monk, when he heard a news, he thought it was a very important message, so he immediately sent me a text message, then the news was at the beginning of March, this The old monk announced a verse at the ceremonial meeting to commemorate Han Guanchang's death. Then, for this verse, I received this content from him, and I was deeply moved when I saw it.So soon after receiving the newsletter, he called again, very anxiously, the emperor really did not rush to death the eunuch, kindly remind me!This verse of the old monk, I am afraid that the old monk really lived a long time ago!Even if I stayed, it might be necessary to gradually eliminate these external conditions, so he reminded me that if there is something to see the old monk, I have to report to the old monk, then hurry up.
When I was told by him like this, I think, hey!Really, it seems that this time has come, so I also made my mind to record this special lecture. I set it on this topic as "Experience Report of XNUMX Years of Specializing in Pure Land".The most important thing is to give a report to the old monk, and also to share it with fellow practitioners who are predestined.
(XNUMX) Survive in bliss with one heart and one mind, and become a Buddha as soon as possible
First of all, I will share the poem of the old monk with you. "I was wasted for eighty-five years, there is not much to come. I have studied Buddhism for XNUMX years. I teach XNUMX. I will continue my life. Huayan and Dharma. Si let go, refuse to be bound by all conditions, chant the Amitabha, live in a pure land, and everything will become a Buddha. I still pray for Jian Yucheng, and I am a true lotus friend." Jingkong Jinbai.When I saw this verse, I was deeply moved.Around the beginning of the recent year, the old monks also came to Singapore, and the Singapore Pure Sect Society held a Fa conference and a welcome banquet.On the day of the welcome banquet, I also attended, so many fellow practitioners were also very anxiously spreading the news that the old monk said that he would die after the new year.This news!The Chinese New Year will be here soon!So everyone is very nervous!Master Wu Dao is still convening everyone on the Internet to ask the old monk to live in the world to teach sentient beings. I happened to be there that day. I happened to meet the old monk on stage to clarify this misunderstanding. But in fact, I heard the rumors from those fellow practitioners at the time. It is completely as if not moving, although it is so nervous!The Chinese New Year is about to leave, but my intuition is not possible.So this time when I saw this chant, why did I feel so deeply?In fact, it may be a kind of response!I think this kind of mood, this verse is actually the mood of the old monk!At the same time, it is also a kind of innocence who exhorts fellow practitioners!Well, this state of mind is somewhat similar to me personally, so I am particularly moved.For example, when the old monk talked about "I wasted eighty-five years", this is the politeness of the old man!To be honest, it seems that this hasn't made much contribution in the past eighty-five years!What a waste of time!
In terms of physiognomy, this can be said to be a term of humility, but if we further understand it from the rationale, it is true that the realm of an old monk should be incomprehensible!So although he has studied Buddhism for sixty years and taught fifty-three, he has indeed saved a lot of sentient beings, but if he doesn't realize the image in his heart, it doesn't seem to be pretentious!There is no person who does not preach the Dharma, nor is there a person who is saved, and there is no such aspect, but let us personally understand it, I feel that I am engaged in the aspect and look at it!The old monk has indeed taught the rituals of sentient beings in this life, and I feel that he is very much like Samantabhadra.Many people may think that the old monk is just like Amitabha Buddha’s re-emergence, so it makes sense. From a different perspective... If we say that from the perspective of the Dharma condition that enchants sentient beings, then the old monk is in modern times. Talking about this Dharma condition is very special, just like Amitabha.
Then I have such a feeling from his method of teaching sentient beings, as well as his own rituals, because the old monk, look at this chant, it says, "Faith continues with wisdom, Hua Yan and Dharma, The Great Scriptures explain the historical novels and provide for those who are predestined." The old monk takes his heart to save sentient beings. In what way? "Hua Yan" and "Fa Hua" represent the entire Mahayana Buddhism, which can also be said to be the Dafa of one vehicle to become a Buddha.So in the end, it will be led to the Pure Land Method of "The Great Scripture Jieyi". In this way, I will save him. This is exactly the same as the Samantabhadra at the Huayan Council. He can understand all methods, but in the end Lead to the destined person, lead to the pure land, and return to the pure land of survival, so the old monk's rituals are also the same.So in the back, the first paragraph is to explain his own situation of educating sentient beings, and the latter paragraph!I feel a lot in particular. "The Dharma of the world comes from the world, see through it, let it go, refuse to be bound by all, chant Amitabha, and live in a pure land." It seems very ordinary, this content is a practitioner... ordinary old monks often remind us!We need to see through and let go, but we should carefully understand how a person who can truly transcend the worldly law and thoroughly see through letting go, what is his state of mind and state?I personally have a little bit of response because I think that although it has not been a long time since the sixteen years of study, it can be regarded as a lot of ups and downs!In particular, I feel that the more I grow up in adversity, the more I can see through and let go.In other words!Those who can really see through and let go, must have suffered a lot!Only in the end can we really recognize this fact. All the world is illusory. Only if you refuse to reciting the Amitabha Buddha, this is the real purification karma!It is the most important and worthwhile thing to do in our life with one heart and one mind to survive in the Paradise of Ultimate Bliss. This is not easy for ordinary people to do, so this passage can also be regarded as the old monk’s kindly exhortation to us. , It seems simple but not easy!Wisdom is needed to see through!It takes time to let go!You must really be able to give up!There is no way for us to do a little charity now. The charity of foreign wealth is very distressed in my heart. Sometimes, after finally giving, I regret it.Letting go is from things outside of the body, and even within the heart, not greedy, not greedy for anything, not greedy for feelings, and everything. This is a skill!It's not easy!Of course the old monk wrote this verse, so he must have a lot of skill in this aspect.
(XNUMX) Seize the time to recite the Buddha honestly
Well, the old monk mentioned earlier about "I wasted eighty-five years"!It reminds me that Master Hongyi also has a verse, with a similar mood. He said: "Nothing is worthwhile for a man to grow old. It is only suitable for a monk to live in the valley, and it is not suitable for a national feast." The first recitation!I think I can also borrow this to illustrate my personal portrayal, which is a bit similar.The old monk said it was polite to waste eighty-five years!We are truly getting old without adulthood, and nothing is worth talking about.We young people!Especially young people are easy to be arrogant and think they are amazing, or say, oops!We have been cultivating for a while, oops!Xiu Fu Xiuhui seems to have achieved some results. In fact, look at what kind of character is Master Hongyi?Martial law lawyers!In the end, he wrote such a recitation to describe himself, so his personal behavior is also very low-key, so later he said: "It is only suitable for monks to live in the valley, and it is not suitable for the banquet of the national scholar." For some socialites!He felt that it was not suitable for him to save sentient beings in the middle of the world. He felt that it was best to be a monk and cultivator!Especially for himself, he can only be suitable for working hard in the mountains, and for some of the contacts with some high-ranking officials!Not suitable, this is his own practice experience.Well, comparing this paragraph with our old monk’s behavior, it makes me feel that it’s not simple. The old monk’s life is really such an old age. He has to go to make connections on any kind of international occasions at home and abroad. This is running around, then What is shown is to achieve one's own morality, concentration and wisdom, and achieve one's blessing and wisdom in the red dust. This kind of practice is really not easy, that is, separation.It's hard to practice in the middle of the world!Because Hong Chen is just a big dye vat!Like those of us who don't have the skill, the whole body must be contaminated when we jump into this dyeing vat, so we can keep it clean!This is not easy, so I myself feel that the disaster is coming soon, the old monk said!On December XNUMX, XNUMX, I urged fellow practitioners to regard it as a foreseeable time. By then, we still have less than two years to go!Counting down, this is also intentional to hope that we will hurry up and work hard. It is true that in case the disaster really comes, you see that Japan is really terrible now, including Yunnan from the beginning of this year to the present. You can see that the number of people killed and injured is hundreds of people. Ten thousand people!I have seen reports from Yunnan that more than XNUMX people have been affected by the disaster, so the disasters in Japan have not stopped one after another!Including these problems of radiation.
It is true that the external realm we are currently presenting really deserves our vigilance, because we personally have no ability to save sentient beings!Although this heart is about to be sent out, it is true that all sentient beings have not yet saved, and I am troubled by myself, so I should seize this time and recite the Buddha honestly.It’s really not easy to practice in the realm. So when I saw the old monk’s manifestations, I felt that I could have a little bit of experience. I felt that this was really not something ordinary people could do, especially when the old monk used to study because of me. I think this is the cause of my personal ordination practice!The process is a bit similar to that of the old monk.I feel particularly able to realize that, of course, I can’t fully understand his realm, the kind of test he faced, but it’s a bit similar, because the old monk used to be like Li Bingnan, the old layman, and Professor Fang Dongmei. , Master Zhang Jia learns.The learning process seemed to be quite smooth; but after he became a monk, it was not so easy to promote the Dharma and benefit the life!It really is!The tree attracts the wind, or as long as you are truly motivated and determined to do certain things, the test will come. So from that time on, the old monk faced a lot of problems because he had to face the traditional Buddhist monks, and at that time The various tests of the environment!So I also encountered a lot of difficulties.Then I met Curator Han’s wholehearted support, and then I began to really feel at ease to do the Taoist. Therefore, it is difficult for ordinary people to understand this process, let alone the layman!The monks generally seldom leave the dojo, and there is probably no way to experience it.That’s because I myself was in the "Forty-eight Vows of Infinite Life Sutra". I gave a brief introduction. I was shaved after three days of being a monk. I didn’t make preparations for adjustment in advance. Of course, the impact is also great.After three days of shave, I regretted it. It's miserable!Can't go home again, just imagine it!This gap is huge.Then, because of insisting on following the old monk to study the Fa, he left Master after about half a year and enlightened Master.
(XNUMX) We have to see through this illusion of illusion
At that time, I was a monk in Hua Zang, Taipei. Of course, Master was very compassionate to make us a monk, but this way of spiritual practice!This is related to all aspects of cause and fate, you only need to meet an innocent creditor!You may be hard to move, one is enough, and the test of this one will become like a snowball, so this is inevitable.Everyone will have his own grievances and creditors to achieve us, but if we really devote ourselves to practice, especially the teachings of the old monks often remind us not to be in the realm, everyone is here to manifest and achieve our Dao Karma Yes, we have to be grateful, and even we have to see through this illusion of illusion. Then when we can break through this stage, I feel that I have been a monk for more than five years. After five years, this trouble will gradually be surrendered. .In the first few years of becoming a monk, the troubles were some personnel issues!All these problems that are unaccustomed to daily life and rest are troubled later in the second half, and probably only one thing is more obvious gradually, that is, the failure of Dao Karma, which is very distressing.If the Dao industry is not completed, if impermanence comes, you can't go to the Paradise of Elysium, then this matter can be serious, so fortunately I am really lucky!
During the whole learning process, although we left after graduating from the XNUMX training class, I left to study everywhere, but sometimes when the old monk went back to visit him, he would often give us some encouragement and blessings. , So it is very smooth, and it can still grow steadily in the face of adversity, but when it comes to this, the Dharma happiness is born. The Dharma happiness is relatively free of thick troubles. It must really be a kind of our own feeling. The Dao Karma is relatively stable, which means that we are going to be reborn in the Paradise of Bliss. At that time!The inner Faxi is true.The last time my XNUMX Vishes CD also included it. About three years ago, I had already tasted the Dharma, so now let’s talk about this topic. Actually, my XNUMX years of study is just a beginner. !I can’t talk about the learning experience, but I have come along this way!I am very willing to share the benefits I have gained with the Fa, so I will also give a report to the old monk at the same time. This is the result of the old monk’s enlightenment and blessing. So look at our current old monk’s eighth this year. I'm fifteen years old, and I'm still trying to persuade us with all my heart, so I believe our fellow practitioners!As long as they have benefited from the enlightenment of the old monk, they hope that the old monk can live for a long time.
(XNUMX) We must be brave, and truly follow the teachings
So how can you really invite the old monk to live in the world?In fact, he is still in good health now!Eighty-five years old may be in better physical condition than those of us in their XNUMXs and XNUMXs, so in fact, as long as you really have this heart, it is not impossible to invite old monks to live in the world. His body is still very useful!But why does the old monk need to live in the world?If all beings are not willing to follow the teachings, then it would be a waste of time for the old monk to live in the world!Be a monk!The only reason for living in this world is to benefit sentient beings besides self-cultivation. Therefore, if we really want to have this heart and want to ask the old monk to live in the world, we must be brave and truly follow the teachings, not here. Hearing over there, the old monk talked hard for a long time, but in the end he couldn't see the reaction of fellow practitioners. This is also a kind of disrespect to the old monk!
When the Blessed One was alive, he could actually live for a hundred years!But he passed away at the age of eighty. It was also because of the disciples around him, because the sense of impermanence was not very deep, so he always felt that the Buddha would never leave us!He doesn’t cherish it very much, so if the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas live in the world for a long time, if the fellow practitioners feel this way and don’t know how to cherish it, then it’s really unnecessary to live in the world for a long time. It’s not a good thing for us, so if we Stop practicing diligently!Maybe the old monk really used a trick, and he would die for us to see immediately, wow!At that time, it was too late for us to regret it, so I am now especially because it is really well-deserved. On the one hand, I feel the disaster of this big environment. On the other hand, I really want to be well. This state of mind is indeed very good. I want to settle down and recite the Buddha with my heart.
I remember about XNUMX. After I left that year and this year, I went back to visit the old monk in Hong Kong almost every year. It should be around XNUMX that I also made a wish with the old monk. Before making a vow to retreat for ten years.At that time, the old monk also sent me homework. The only one piece of paper, "The Five Scriptures of Pure Land", "Ksitigarbha Sutra", "Yinguang Master's Writings" and "Ananda Questions About the Buddha's Sorrowful Sutra" was the only one. I told him, "Old monk, can I talk about the "Hua Yan Sutra"?" He scolded me, but because of this ten-year retreat!For a long time, he taught me a lot of homework, and then I...only closed the convenience pass for three years, the cause is not mature!In fact, our talk about retreat is just for convenience!Strictly speaking, it's just a foot restraint!Retreat.We have not yet fully realized that we can't really talk about retreat, but this is easy for everyone to understand, that is to say that we will eliminate external conditions and completely devote ourselves to our practice. Then there are only three years of karma at that time, then we are also following the karma.
Now maybe... I feel that the cause and fate are almost the same, it’s better to be able to... If you don’t die in XNUMX, then I will close the seven-year barrier to complete Consummation. This is a vow with the old monk. , Even to be able to learn Master Yinguang, that is even more blessed.Master Yinguang, our thirteenth ancestor, he has been in retreat on Mount Putuo for more than XNUMX years!Then it turned out that he did this skill!Accumulation, and it's really a life of fame and fortune, and I didn't expect to promote the Dharma and live life in the future, and it will show us to us, honestly praying for the Buddha with one heart and one mind and seeking death.Masters like others behave so plainly!So where do we dare to think of the ability to save sentient beings!It's just that because of a little blessing, I can follow the old monk to learn the classics.
(XNUMX) Follow Karma and Achievement to Support the Bhikkhu's Initiation
So in the process of learning, it is us who really benefit, and we get the most benefit.In the process of studying the scriptures and teachings, slowly in this process, we can achieve our morality, concentration and wisdom, and eliminate our various karma and troubles. I do feel that many things, such as being able to not be greedy for all kinds of this world, are easier. see through.The achievement of this method, in fact, if the Tone people only need to learn Master Yinguang, even beginners are fine, you can honestly recite the Buddha's name to the end, but the problem is that if there is no one to see through, you don’t have to learn the scriptures first. You can't break the Xunxiu, because Nian Nian is greedy in this world. I'm afraid you can't honestly recite this Buddha's name, so it depends on everyone's fate!Let's go and figure it out by ourselves. It's best to be able to chant the Buddha honestly. This is the most extraordinary, and there is no waste of time at all.
Then I personally pay equal attention to the solution and business, and I have been walking for XNUMX years until now!This heart is really honest, and the idea of letting go of all destiny came about three years ago, but there are still some causes and destinies still to come!So gradually by now, the cause and fate are about to mature. I really can’t wait!If you want to close the door and work hard, from morning to night, you just read a Buddha's name.This is the state of mind that is naturally not reluctant!When I had a great transformation three years ago, after the method and faith in the rebirth came up clearly, my heart would continue to eagerly and happily hope that I can spend more time praising this. Above the name, why?Because when chanting the title, it is to directly communicate with Amitabha Buddha.Then if we really want to ask for a world of bliss with all our heart, then there is nothing like doing this!What is more meaningful and I want to do is to communicate with Amitabha. It is the most direct way to recite the Buddha. Even the sutras still feel that there is a barrier. The sutras also allow us to do it after we understand the truth!
Then the practice of our Pure Land Method!Just call the name directly, don't underestimate this name!Any great virtues of the Patriarchs who have relied on their roots have truly seen through, and they have truly realized that there is a kind of self-cultivation in their hearts. When they have a clear grasp, they will not let go of all conditions, and each is honestly thinking of the Buddha. This Buddha's name, so we must not only let go of the fate of the world, but even the Dharma, the Dharma should be given up!We also have to give up as much as possible in Buddhism, and until the end is more and more dedicated, there is only one Buddha's name. Then at this time we are going to regenerate in this life!It must be certain.
So just in my state of mind, when various causes and conditions are gradually mature, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas really take care of us. Last year, when I came to Malaysia, I also followed the conditions and came to Malaysia. After nearly half a year of Dharma, I have learned it in various places.Then the fellow practitioners were very happy when they heard the Fa. One of them was the protector. He was very big-hearted. He always hoped that I could come out to lead the crowd!Then he didn’t show up personally at all. He really supported the Dharma without seeking fame and fortune. Then he hoped that I could take it. The whole thing is to say, this one should take up the responsibility of establishing the Sangha, then when I started, I I refused, because my heart only wanted to close the door to recite the Buddha, but what's the cause!We also have to follow the causes and conditions, especially when I refuse, consider, and even say that you are going to help me, but then this protector is very insistent, and it is purely to protect more sentient beings who benefit from the Three Jewels. Because he feels that this Fa is really great, and it can help fellow practitioners to become a Buddha.I was also influenced by his intention. If he wanted to achieve his intention to cultivate blessings, I would take it down first. The main reason is that he is also completely managed by me, no matter what I do. He didn't even ask about the arrangement, so I'll be easier to deal with this way!I just undertake to accomplish his motivation first, and then I will make a proper arrangement.
So this thing is going well. We were in Furong at the beginning of this year. We bought a piece of mountainous land in the Furong area. There are a total of six acres of this mountainous land.At that time, I thought that a place like this is very suitable as a jungle of Jingzong retreat. It is a place for everyone to stop talking to the Buddha and concentrate on chanting for life.I think this cause is also very good, but I actually arranged it like this!I also try to follow the causes and conditions as much as possible, but in my heart, I think that I can use this cause and conditions to achieve the intention of our supporter bhikkhu, because I have seen a phenomenon in the past, and this phenomenon is also very common now, monk. , Bhikshuni, this layman, Upasai, Upayi!Each has its own world, and there are even some insights into this one!It's not likely that they will support each other.
(XNUMX) Undertake the work of leading the crowd and solemn the entire Buddhist sangha
In the time of the Buddha, the Blessed One actually encouraged the Sangha to be led by bhikkhus. This is more solemn. If there is no suitable bhikkhu master in this area to lead the people, then the bhikshuni and bhikkhu nuns will be led by the monks and be responsible for spreading the Dharma. Lisheng’s job.There are neither bhikkhus nor bhikkhuni, so the layman can also be promoted, but it must be recognized by this monk, and a standard for the bodhisattva vow, the standard of precepts, then it can replace the monk. Propagating the Dharma on one side, so this is actually!It is related to the entire Dharma, the dignity of the Buddhist Sangha, the dignity of inheritance, so I also thought in my heart that I would bear this cause and condition, then if there is a suitable opportunity!I also hope to make a reference for everyone. The four disciples must cooperate with each other. The work of guarding the Dharma is very important, but if you want to control the leadership, it is impossible to do well, because the monks have precepts and monks two hundred. Fifty articles, three hundred and forty-eight articles for bhikkhuni, if your layman doesn’t understand how you can discipline them?That's not a good thing for the development of the entire Sangha, so I also take this opportunity!I think the practice of this layman is also very good, and he can be a model for everyone.The same goes for the lonely elders, too!It means that the whole life is to honestly support, support this abode, support the Buddha and others for practice, he doesn't care at all, because in terms of precepts, the monks are determined to be the monks!The matters of the monks must also be handled by the monks’ meetings with karma. This is stipulated in the precepts, so this lonely elder consecrated this land. After the abode was consecrated, he still went to the Sangha to provide food and drink every day. The lay layman is a good example of the law, and it is worth learning from us.
If the four disciples cooperate, then if there is really no leader of the monks, we also hope to protect the Dharma. We big Dharma-protecting Bodhisattvas devote as much as possible to cultivate talents. This is the long-term, truly solemn Buddhist monk. Group instead of replacing it, some just simply, oops!He is also very interested!See, wow!There are not many monks who have cultivated well now, so let me save sentient beings. It seems that I am also very big-hearted!This heart may also feel that it is kind, but as a whole, if there are no monks in the future, everyone will cook in the kitchen, sweep the floor, and then rise to the seat of the layman, wow!Take a look at the outsider, wow!Did Buddhism perish?There are no more monks and monks, but bodhisattvas.Dojos such as the Buddhist monks belong to the Bodhisattva Sangha. They are not monks. He hasn't implemented the precepts of becoming a monk!The reason why Buddhism is stronger than the outside world is because of the precepts, the solemnity of the precepts, so what about us!I also happened to take advantage of this predestined relationship to turn around and attract jade!I hope to talk about our personal role, and we think about the overall situation. Then the first person I think about now is Dr. Zhong Maosen, hey!Everyone is surprised, why he is a layman but not a master monk.This is the reason for this. I went to Hong Kong to visit the old monk in October last year. At that time, Jushi Zhong was also there, because we knew each other ten years ago!So I am very happy to see it!Just say hello!Then I suddenly saw his hair cut very short, that was only two points, and the hair was very short. I was shocked. I said, "Oh! You are going to be a monk?" I didn't expect him to be a real monk when I asked. Hey nod with me!Then I immediately said, "The martial law of monks is very strict!" He said confidently that he seemed to be ready, and he said, "No problem!" Then I learned to say, oh!It turned out that the old monk also encouraged him to become a monk when he was preaching, so he himself seems to have matured his desire to become a monk. So now I also think that if his cause of becoming a monk can mature, it would be best. I will be the first to be the first to become a monk. I hope I can protect him, and of course it is for us!It also depends on whether we have this blessing!Because Jushi Zhong is really a rare good knowledge, an object of learning.Why can I say this? Actually, many monks around us are very good!That's because I moved this idea because it was about ten years ago, because I personally got along with him for a certain period of time. I particularly understood his personality and felt that he could endure hardship.
This doctor in general!The scholars in this academia feel weak!But Dr. Zhong is not!During his four years in the United States, he really was like an ascetic monk, in the kind of weather below zero!In order to save money, he didn't even buy quilts. He covered all the clothes around him that could cover him. In such a cold weather, he didn't turn on the heating to save electricity!The temperature is below zero. What's even worse is that he can even take a cold shower two or three times a week, oh!This ordinary man can't do it!He has exercised in this way, so his physical condition is not only good in his knowledge and wisdom, but also in good physical condition.So the cause here is that we are in the mountains. I would have liked it because I was on Lantau Island in Hong Kong in the past, and I had been close to the saint and the old master and lived in the jungle. So the cause and fate here are very similar to that of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. It's also a bit of asceticism!So if there is no object that corresponds to the cause and condition here, I am afraid it is not suitable, then I believe he will be very happy personally, but just to see the old monk’s wishes, so after we record this time, I will also record this The CD was sent to Dr. Zhong and the old monk, asking about the meaning of the old monk’s wishes. If there is this in the future... everyone in Malaysia has this blessing, then we congratulate you all. If not, I believe the old monk will do it. One of the most appropriate arrangements is that we, students and disciples, always follow the instructions of the teacher.
So in this area of Furong on the mountain, I don’t know if fellow practitioners have a concept?This place is very good, it's really an outstanding place.Why is it called Furong?This is because its topography is like a flower, a flower-like topography, so the place name is taken. Then its geographical conditions are very good. It is about fifty minutes away from Kuala Lumpur Airport, which happens to be in the middle of Malaysia. Very convenient in geographical conditions.Generally, the jungle is in the deep mountains. This mountain is not high or low. It’s only five or six hundred meters above sea level. So it’s too high to get in and out... You see it’s not convenient for the old Bodhisattva to go there. This height is just now. Okay, and it takes about XNUMX minutes on average from the city to the highway.You see, there is really such a mountainous area where you can work hard, and then it’s not far from the city. If the old Bodhisattva gets sick, it is convenient to see a doctor in case of emergency!Generally, if you are too deep in the mountains, you might be waiting for your death there!There is no other way!This is because the geographical conditions are very good. I liked this place when I came to this place. Because it is very aura, most people may not appreciate it, because it is steeper, the hillside is steeper but it has a jungle atmosphere, and it is very aura. So when I saw it, I decided to buy it, and then the landlord!He never thought that anyone would like his land so much, and he was also very happy, because they thought it was nothing to him, it was just a piece of agricultural land!If we don't know how to appreciate it, we use it as a place for practice. It's really because he can't imagine it without studying Buddhism.
Later, after talking about the whole process to the end, he even asked me, "Can you sell me another acre of land?" He also wanted to come here to practice and provide for the elderly with us. I said no, not to sell it to you, so this place I really like it at first glance.So why is it said that it has aura?Later, I heard a person who was active over there and said that there is one in there, and there are all sentient beings!What... what bug!Monkey!Squirrel!These animals have.The most special thing is that there is still a big snake living in it. This big snake should have been cultivating in it. It was fat and fat. They described it as thick as a bucket and so thick!The diameter is about fifteen centimeters. I will talk about it like this. Someone of them has seen a snake that is at least ten feet in length.I said, you see, it must be that this place has a particularly good aura, where is it for cultivation!And being able to grow so big and so fat, it can be seen that the magnetic field there is good!It's very suitable for cultivation, maybe you've already cultivated to a high level, so you can just be our guardian god!So besides, I also listened to this landlord's talk, this mountain used to be in a certain period before!He talked about a period that I don’t remember. He said that during a period of disaster, many people fled to this mountain, so this mountain has also saved many people, so it is also a blessed place, so I listened to him at that time. Speaking, I am also very happy to hear it, then I have an instinct!I think that the cause is very good.
Later, when I went to another place, the initiates were very enthusiastic to take me to another place to see it. When I walked halfway, I said not to go. This intuition was very different.In another place, later they said, oops!Master, it’s already halfway there, let’s go take a look!As a result, looking at another place, most people might like it from the perspective of a layman, but I don't like it at all.It's well constructed, tree!The trees along the road are neatly trimmed and look like a resort, so how do you practice?The more bitter we are, the better!It’s best if there are weeds. We can chop firewood over there. This can be used as firewood if it is dried. Only then can there be an atmosphere of spiritual practice!You are so well organized, then do we have to ask workers to fix it for trimming!So this place is really a place given to us by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.Then I especially hope that through this transmission of this CD, I hope that the great Bodhisattva will take over as soon as possible, and Master Bhikkhu will take over, then I will be able to retire sooner!In fact, when I took over this cause and condition, my inner intention was to accomplish this layman's heart and blessing on the one hand!Let us not cut off his motivation and his roots of goodness. On the one hand, we also use this cause and condition to be a tribute to the jade. We hope that we can protect the monk master as much as possible to undertake the work of educating sentient beings and to solemn the whole Sangha. An inheritance of.There really is no such object, so of course we have to take it straight!Regardless of whether it is a layman, a layman can spread the Dharma and benefit his life by practicing well!But don't say that if there are monks, you didn't make the effort to protect them, or even fight against them and rob believers.Some are like this, and even criticize the monks!This is very troublesome, this is a very wrong demonstration. Indirectly corrupting Buddhism is really quite serious. Maybe the person involved was very motivated and did not think so much, but in fact, it has a great impact on the overall situation. Great, I don’t even know that I have created karma with kindness.
(XNUMX) Real practice begins with a monk
So now I think about my own practice for a while, but it's actually about my experience!I don’t have any experience, so I’m going to give a report here to explain to the old monk that there is such a kind of one, and the current cause and condition, then I personally talk about it!I can simply share with you, that is, just like the old monk Guangqin said, someone asked the old monk Guangqin, how does this layman practice?How to practice?The old monk Guangqin was a participant...In the early days, he went to Zen and later specialized in the Pure Land.He just said... he didn't go around the corners, he said, "Oh, lay man! You can recite the Buddha at home and cultivate blessings!" This meaning is very meaningful!Not to say, oops!Then you don't need it!This way, you can recite the Buddha easily. It's not that you don't want to be diligent, but it's not about diligent practice at all.The conditions of your layman are very difficult, and there are many obstacles, and you will still be a layman today, saying that you have not yet blessed to be a monk, and that you may still have a deeper relationship with the five desires and six dusts, so you talk about how to practice ?Then I have this feeling myself, because I just came into contact with this Pure Land Method for the first time. When I first entered Buddhism, I spent the first three years as a layman practicing at home to circulate magic weapons. Those three years have been good times!We have always been doing charity and making good destiny, no one will show our face, and no one will criticize us, so it is all good times. At best, that stage can only be regarded as cultivating blessings!Real practice begins with a monk. This is my personal feeling.
I started practicing on the third day of being a monk!This practice is for you to have adversity to test it!Then when you can face adversity and break through, hey!Then you really have a little bit of practice.It is very difficult for a layman to have this cause to achieve us. The real practice is to correct one's own wrong thoughts and behaviors!You have to really correct it. Not only do you have to establish righteous knowledge, right view, listening to the Scriptures and listening to the Fa, but you also have to change your wrong habit after listening. This is even more difficult.Telling you not to kill, not steal, not to commit adultery, not to lie, not to drink alcohol, you have the five precepts, you are very difficult, this habit is very difficult to change, not greedy, not aversion, not delusion, not two tongues, these are all very difficult, this It's all quits!Passing through this commandment is the beginning of real practice.But it is difficult for us to be a layman!It is difficult for you to supervise yourself, so others dare not talk about you!I'm afraid that this will become a bad relationship, so I really want to talk about spiritual practice!My personal feeling is to start from becoming a monk.
Well, for more than ten years!Let me experience one thing, of course, I face many realms, and it is not easy to be able to come over!At least there is no retreat.But I still dare not say that we can really... have been for more than ten years!Twelve years of being a monk!It's not too short, but think about it carefully!There is no mention of the fruits of practice.If we are to truly achieve a little bit of spiritual results, then at best we can only say that we really understand from the bottom of our hearts that the karma of sentient beings is incredible, and our karma is really heavy.Even if we have already set out to become a monk, we have continued to walk such a long way. The longer we go, the more deeply we realize that it is not easy to practice. It is really not that simple to correct our habits, which is equivalent to saying You will see yourself more clearly. If you count the results, it’s probably only like this, not that we can really purify our body and mind and subdue our troubles. It’s really not that simple, so the old monk said that he was a monk. After twenty or thirty years of practice, the worries began to linger a little bit!I only saw my own kung fu in forty to fifty years!This is true.
Our feelings and personal feelings are clearer year after year, so that arrogance will slowly recede, and then due to the predestined encounter with this master of good guidance, he pointed out to us the simplest path of pure land. When practicing the law, he first taught us to recognize that we are sinful, life and death ordinary people!If we have truly walked a path of spiritual practice, we can truly appreciate our own level.You see, Master Lian Hongyi is in his sixties and he has been practicing diligently throughout his life. He even described himself as his body and mind. Many of these descriptions are really very serious. I am not too embarrassed to say that. Described very badly.At that time, I saw how it was so outrageous, and slowly I realized a little bit that people are enlightened people!People can see clearly!After the heart calms down slowly, what is the real situation?Even though we live, the ordinary people who have cultivated to death in this life are still suffering from the three poisons, at most they can stand down!Like a few of these great virtues, it is really possible that worries can be relieved or can be held down.
(XNUMX) The only way to become a Buddha is to rely XNUMX% on Amitabha's salvation
Like us!If you really rely on your own strength, it won't be easy!This person who hasn't worked hard to practice often feels that he has cultivated well, but in fact he hasn't started cultivating at all.When you really start to practice and overcome your own worries and habits in the face of adversity, you will realize how difficult it is and the incredible karma of sentient beings!At this time, there is also a way to encounter this pure land method, and then we can really honestly follow what this good guide master told us, we really have to admit that we are sinful life and death ordinary people, and then only rely on Amitabha’s forty-eight vows for salvation, XNUMX% relying on Buddha, because we have no strength at all!Can't help it!That only depends on the power of Amitabha Buddha's vows. Fortunately, we have this blessing. Meeting Amitabha Buddha made forty-eight vows for us, so we can't believe him without relying on him!The more deeply we realize how terrible our troubles and karma are, we have no choice and are impermanent!If this kind of alertness of impermanence can be improved, we will naturally respond to Amitabha and hold Amitabha tightly. At this time, we will be very much like the Buddhist chanting of the Erhe Baidao. When we make this determination, we feel When it comes to Amitabha...there is absolutely no way to rely on your own strength. Not to mention that once the reborn Paradise becomes a Buddha, there is no way to surrender your troubles. Only then can you rely on the Buddha with all your heart, and this determination is very easy to feel right away, so Let's not worry, hey!It's strange why we don't feel Amitabha after chanting for so long?That's because we truly converted to Nammo Amitabha, and the determination to truly rely on Amitabha has not yet been initiated.
If we recognize that we want to be liberated from this life and want to become a Buddha, we can only rely XNUMX% on the salvation of Amitabha Buddha and the blessing of the forty-eight vows. We truly recognize this fact, and there is no other way to go. At this time, our body and mind are fully invested and dependent on. This mind comes as soon as it initiates. Then our state of chanting Buddha is different. This state of mind is this time!Although we did not cultivate by ourselves, we did not rely on our own strength, but because we received the blessing power of Amitabha, our realm suddenly improved, and real troubles can be surrendered.Why can I personally taste the Dharma?Three years ago, it was because of an opportunity to receive this guidance from the Master Shandao, the "Four Tie Sutras of Guanjing" taught by Master Shandao!The old monk has also talked about it before, but our fellow practitioners generally didn't study it in detail.So now the old monk's "The Pure Land Great Scriptures" is based on Huang Nianzu's commentary. In fact, most of the quotes by Huang Nianzu are the teachings of Japanese patriarchs, so the teachings of Japanese patriarchs are almost All of them are based on the teachings of Master Yi Shandao, so our fellow practitioners can also learn more on this note because of the cause, just like the previous verse.The old monk will eventually be included in the Mahayana classics such as "Hua Yan" and "Law Hua" in the end.
The old monk also once said that when the Dharma of the Ending Dharma is extinct, the "Blessed Life Sutra" will live for a hundred years. The one he has passed down with confidence is the "Great Sutra" he is talking about now. "Solution", in other words, it is also based on the guidance of Master Shandao. Because among the XNUMX ancestors of the Pure Land, the teaching methods are divided into three different schools of thought. This is based on personal time and fate, and there are different enlightenment. The ingenuity.Then, for these three different schools of thought, there are difficult and easy points to practice. Then the teachings taught by Master Shandao are the simplest, but it is true that although it is the simplest, but the achievement is also the most extraordinary, but the most difficult to believe, it is truly in line with the pure land. The characteristic of the method is that the unbelievable method is difficult to believe and easy to implement, so this is a benefit that I personally got. It is through the guidance of Master Shandao. So I also introduce fellow practitioners here, and have the opportunity to learn in-depth in the works of Master Shandao. , So soon perhaps you have sufficient roots and merits, and you will be able to develop confidence in the rebirth right now!Death is not decided at the end of life.
(XNUMX) As long as you can truly believe in your wishes, you will decide right away when you die
If you have read the "Forty-Eight Vows" that we circulate, it is very clear that the decisive factor in rebirth is whether we have true faith and true aspirations?Do you have confidence in Amitabha's forty-eight wishes for salvation?Not on our own strength.If we don’t talk about rebirth by our own strength, if you practice for a long period of time for a lifetime, I’m afraid there is no news. It’s because of the power of the Buddha, so we only need to grasp the right direction, according to Master Shandao’s advice. We are leading in the correct direction and work hard in this aspect of faith and aspiration. This faith and aspiration must be able to truly believe in the true aspiration. As long as they can truly believe in the true aspiration, the moment of rebirth is decided. And a true believer and true aspiration does not do not honestly recite the Buddha. You will naturally recite the Buddha honestly without any pressure in your heart. You are not doing kung fu, because you are not relying on your own chanting of the Buddha to determine whether you are good or not, and whether your concentration is deep enough to decide whether you will die or not.
You see, Master Hui Yi also said that whether one's death depends on whether or not one wishes!So XinYuanXing is a three-in-one!One contains many.You really...we work hard on believing and wishing. When true belief and aspiration arise, we will naturally change our behavior. We will be soft physically and mentally, and we will naturally break away from evil and practice good faith to recite the Buddha. The changes are great and our hearts are stable.If you are sure of your demise right now, then you will suddenly feel relieved by more than half of your troubles in this world, and you may even be able to lie down and be immersed in this kind of joy all day, because you feel that you will be in this life again. No matter how hard it is, the days are not long anyway, I am about to go to Paradise to enjoy the blessing!Free it!So no matter how hard this world is, even if we encounter some adversity in front of us, you will naturally not care so much, you will not care so much, no matter how hard it is, it will not last long!Time is running out!I happily waited for the time to arrive earlier. Even if the disaster comes, I am not afraid of my death. It would be great to report to the Elysium earlier, so the key is that we have to... the practice of this method!
If we can grasp this key earlier and develop the confidence to decide to die, then we can be said to be close to graduation right now!So why am I studying for the past XNUMX years!Indeed, relying on my own strength to have no results, advances and retreats, many precepts really want to keep it well, it is impossible to keep the XNUMX rules well, it is often confession!Feel ashamed, advance and retreat.There is no way to be stable on your own!There is no way not to retreat. This period of time may be more diligent. In all aspects, this precept, concentration and wisdom seems to be on track a little bit. After a while, the troubles have retreated again, so if you talk about your own kung fu!Kung fu can't be talked about for more than ten years, but fortunately, I have encountered the blessings of Master Shandao. Of course, it also includes the teachings of the old monks over the past ten years!This is inseparable. If there is no foundation in the past, I will not feel the blessing of Master Shandao at the end, I can hardly believe it!It's impossible to feel so deep when you touch, so the cause and condition of all this good knowledge!All things are arranged for us by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and they are all accomplishing us.
If we...then our fellow practitioners are also in good fate now. Our fellow practitioners here have already heard the teachings of Master Shandao. As long as we continue to go deeper, I believe that everyone can continue to deepen this letter and wish. As soon as possible to be able to develop confidence in the decision to rebirth, then such a taste of Dharma!It can naturally arise in the heart, and every day I feel very stable and dependent. The real Amitabha is an object that we can rely on XNUMX% of which will not be in trouble.Humans are unreliable, and Buddhas can be trusted. The question is, do we rely on him from the heart?If we really rely on him from the heart, we will be able to have peace in our hearts!It’s really like being in the world of bliss. You will not be afraid of any adversity afterwards. Of course, you will react, cry, laugh, and your mood will fluctuate, but that doesn’t interfere with the situation and does not hinder your inner stability. If you are happy with the Fa, you have to be experienced by your fellow practitioners. So this XNUMX years of training has come to the present, and I just borrowed this cause here. It is also a simple matter to the old monk and fellow practitioners. The protection of the ten directions is also counted as A report, then the more hopeful thing is that we are really committed to practicing honestly, with this kind of behavior to provide for the elderly monks, and support the teachers, then such a way can also be a way to turn such a heart back and forth. I hope to feel that the old monk can live in the world for a long time to teach sentient beings.
If we can really give up our lives and longevity to the old monk, then we'd better leave all the life span after XNUMX to the old monk. We still don’t chant the Buddha's title enough. We should hurry up and recite more Buddhas, and disaster will happen. When we come, we will just leave. If the disaster does not come, we are ready anyway. It is better to recite Amitabha Buddha earlier. If there is a great virtue in this world, the old monk can live in the world for a long time. I believe that the disaster will also be reduced, and a lot can be saved. All beings!It's useless for us to stay!If you can't save sentient beings, you still need to die a little earlier, and have enough supernatural powers to come back again.We are not self-conscious people, but we really don't have the ability, so we closed the door and worked hard on our own. To die earlier is to return to the sentient beings earlier. This is also the Mahayana Bodhicitta.
It depends on karma!If we have the ability and cause, we have to be motivated, like an old monk in the world, if we have the ability to be separated from each other without being attached to various realms, then there will be this predestined condition, and of course we can devote ourselves to saving sentient beings.If we don't have it, we will close the door, and we will send bodhicitta and have always focused on mindfulness, and such a mindfulness will have a high grade of rebirth.Master Shandao told us that people who develop the Mahayana mind and meet the Mahayana method to give birth to the Mahayana mind have a share in the previous three grades. This is what the Master Shandao told us. Then we use this method to go back and forth, this is the real thing. He doesn’t necessarily only target In this part, in terms of the scope of the establishment of confidence in the Pure Land of Rebirth, so it happened that I also personally have this cause and fate, so I made an effort to organize it. We are now teaching the scriptures of the old monk, this promotion can benefit life without saying anything!To be a student is not to say that you have to read every word of the old monk in order to be called a teacher!If this is the case, just listen to the old monk!It’s because we personally have a little experience in learning, so I sorted out the scope and shared it with fellow practitioners in my own tone. Then this is the same as what the old monk taught, but we express The way, tone, and wording of the language will be different.
