Respected Chairman Wang is merciful, and respectable fellow practitioners of the Great Virtue, good evening everyone, Amitabha!
What I want to study with you tonight is the essence of "Buddha Says Amitabha Sutra".Our fellow practitioners who study the Pure Land Method should all know the six-character name of "Namo Amitabha" that we often call.This name seems very simple, so it is often ignored by other sects or people who have not studied Buddhism in general, but we are very clear that this name is the most outstanding among the eighty-four thousand methods taught by the Blessed One. A practice.
The so-called Wan Dehong name, countless merits are all condensed in this name.So the "Buddha Says Amitabha Sutra" that we are going to study with fellow practitioners today is also the most important and most outstanding of all the sutras in the forty-nine years of Blessed One’s preaching and more than 22 meetings. A sutra.However, it is also ignored by ordinary people, especially beginner practitioners. When they first enter Buddhism, they often think that the "Heart Sutra" is the most profound sutra. The first sutra I learnt in my beginners is the "Heart Sutra". The Heart Sutra is the essence of the six hundred volumes of the Prajna Sutra. The Blessed One spent 49 years on the Prajna Sutra, but the Amitabha Sutra we are going to study today is all the sutras taught by the Blessed One in XNUMX years. The heart wants.Its realm is completely the realm of Buddhism, so the realm of Buddhism is simply incredible.Therefore, in this sutra, nothing is actually said. The original translation of the Amitabha Sutra translated by Master Kumarajiva has more than XNUMX words in total. Of these, only three key points are faith, Wish, do, persuade us to believe, persuade us to make aspirations, persuade us to recite Buddha, such a simple content.
Why is it so simple? Because I can't tell at all. If you really want to understand, you have to read all the contents of the twelve parts of the Tripitaka, which is the commentary of this sutra.The "Huayan Sutra" that we usually hear is the commentary of the "Infinite Shou Sutra", so this "Amitabha Sutra" is the essence of the "Infinite Shou Sutra".Then the "Hua Yan Sutra" represents the twelve books of the Tripitaka, so this same sutra also represents everything about the Blessed One... The essence of all the sutras mentioned in the 49 years has the same meaning.
So how do we learn? If we want to learn the "Blessed Life Sutra", it is much easier, because it is very clear, from the practice of Amitabha Buddha to the accumulation of merits, to the cause and effect of complete accomplishment. It’s very clear, so it’s generally not difficult to sustain it.This sutra doesn’t say anything. It directly asks you to make aspirations and recite the Buddha. If you are not someone with very deep roots, he will not follow the teachings, and its content is too simple, without any ingenious theories or It's cause and effect, and it doesn't even talk about the special practice.
So most people tend to ignore it, but have you noticed that in our jungle evening classes, the "Amitabha Sutra" must be recited every day, and even in the jungles of other sects, it should be recited at least every other day. Repeat the "Amitabha Sutra"; from this point of view, we can actually understand the importance of this sutra, and even for other sects, all the people who practice the different methods of this method, he should also recite this sutra, then What is the purpose of reciting this sutra?Of course you have to follow the teachings, so what does this mean?On behalf of those who practice other disciplines, they must eventually be summarized in the "Amitabha Sutra", so that his study can be completed, so we really can't neglect this sutra.

But this sutra seems very simple. How can we get into it and truly learn this sutra to be used? There are special methods. If the practitioners are not minded, you have to memorize it for decades, or I can't find this way to get started, or I can't learn this sutra, and I can't get it to use.Because this sutra actually talks for a long time...Although it only has more than a thousand words, its content can be said to be like a "wordless heavenly book". Although you are very familiar with memorizing it, but ask what you are talking about in this content, probably Few people have spoken it out, so this sutra is the hardest to tell.
Of all the sutras, this sutra is the most difficult to tell! Because there is no content, how do you say it, you can only persuade you to believe, make aspirations, and recite the Buddha, then can you bow down and step down?But let’s take a look... Master Lianchi explained this sutra "Amitabha Sutra Shuchao", which has a lot of weight, and the reasoning is very wonderful; even if it is so wonderful, it is so wonderful that we can’t understand it at all, it’s not there yet. This sutra is thoroughly explained, so it's really too difficult to tell, and it's also too difficult to understand.then what should we do?How do we learn?It's very simple, just don't need to learn.You can graduate without studying, really!This is the real key. If you don't learn, don't be smart, you will get everything.
In this sutra, everyone should pay attention to this. There are three times of "this persuasion." The Blessed One asked Sariputra, Sariputra represents wisdom first, wisdom first-he is the one who crashed.Three of them asked Sariputra: "Why is the Buddha named Amitabha" and so on, and three times in total, he asked him three questions.After the question was over, the World-Honored One did not wait for him to answer and then answer again. What does this mean?Will the Blessed One be so boring?Asking a question and answering by yourself, it's so appetizing, it's impossible!What does this mean?The wise Sariputra, if you ask him, he can't answer.Therefore, this sutra is that the Buddha said without question, and no one has the means to enlighten it. It can be seen that this realm can not even be understood by people with the first wisdom of Sariputra.
So no one enlightened it. In other words, even waiting for enlightenment Bodhisattva could not fully imagine the realm, how can we learn it?If there is no way to learn, don't learn.What should I do if I don’t learn?There is a way, that is, "according to teachings" is the trick.You don't need to understand, you just need to be obedient and accept it.The practice of following teachings is also very simple, that is, you don’t need to do anything, and you don’t need to worry about it yourself. We just have to make a wish, truly believe and accept it, and it’s completely in line with the key beliefs, wishes, and deeds of this sutra.So the point is that we have to really make a wish, really believe, and then it's very simple to do it-we have always dedicated ourselves to it.In this way, we naturally do not cultivate, and we can naturally obtain the realm of Amitabha Buddha's fruit on the earth, and truly fully obtain the benefits of this sutra.
So what kind of mentality should we use to learn, completely respectful and accepting, and stop thinking when hearing any scripture. What does this mean?is it possible?right?Don't even have a second thought.After hearing the imperial decree, the emperor issues the imperial decree, is there room for the people to discuss it?No, you only have to accept it. If you want to get the benefits of this sutra, you only have to accept it. One hundred percent of the time, you must establish such a correct learning mentality before you can proceed to the next one.Otherwise, it's like a cup, if you put the lid on it, no water can get in.So it’s useless for you to listen to it for decades, you just memorize it very well, so it is in line with the saying in this sutra that "you must not be born in the other country by virtue of a few good roots and virtues", and you can really get the experience of this sutra. Rebirth in the Paradise of Elysium relies purely on good roots and virtues, and we must grasp this key point.

Our twelve ancestors of Jingzong thoroughly understood the Zen Master. He has a paragraph to describe the state of our discipline. It is very difficult!Let's just listen: "When you recite Buddha.When I saw the Buddha.When you become a Buddha.When surviving.That is the time of death.That is the time of life.Three times at the same time.Even more without front and back.This understanding is the most difficult.The easiest to believe.But it can go straight down.It will be used by the whole body in the end.It can be said to have finished studying.What has been done is done. This passage is wonderful.
This truth is too deep. "The three intercourses are at the same time." When we are seeing the Buddha when we recite the Buddha, have we seen the Buddha?No, so this chanting, this chanting of the Buddha requires us to earnestly learn how to recite the Buddha. If we truly learn how to recite the Buddha, we will see the Buddha. It is not until we reach the bliss world to see the Buddha.
Then when you recite the Buddha, you are seeing the Buddha and you are also the time you become a Buddha. It’s so wonderful... We are now chanting the Buddha, that is, when we see the Buddha, and when we become the Buddha, aren’t we all Buddhas?This is what the Patriarch said. Did he make a mistake?No, it’s just that we can’t feel it. Indeed, if our mind and behavior are not different from the Buddha, we are the Buddha right now. We are the incarnation of the Buddha. The ugly incarnation is also the incarnation of the Buddha. The Buddha can become a beast. , You can also become a hungry ghost, right?
If our mind and behavior are the same as Him, then we are the incarnation of the Buddha. When it comes to incarnation, we dare not directly bear it, so here it is said: "But if we can bear it directly, it will be used by the whole body." The body of the "whole body" will be used right away. Ah, so it’s okay not to dare to bear it. Let’s be polite. I said that we are Amitab’s messengers and errands.

Indeed, if we can take it straight down, just as Tantra says, we will become a Buddha.In theory, we are originally Buddhas, and we have Buddha-natures. But this is too clever, and it's normal for us not to understand.He said here: "This is the most difficult to understand and the easiest to believe. "The great virtues of the Patriarch said this, and the Buddha said that, we believe it is fine. I believe you are a Buddha now. When we recite the Buddha, we are a Buddha. It doesn’t matter if we don’t understand the truth. Believe it, it will be different from tomorrow. I am Buddha I am not a mortal, but you should not be attached.
When I set up a circulation agency before, because we were a low house on the first and second floors, and the first floor was open, people came to invite magic weapons, then once there was a woman who was very solemn, about thirty years old. , It seems to be at least the level of college graduates, articulate.Then after chatting with me, she said to me: "I am Guanyin, I want to beg you for two thousand yuan." Guanyin is short of two thousand yuan, then this is... She is very sane, and the answer is like this, why is it so? ?She is not possessed, she cultivated by herself. She cultivated to become too into the drama, just like a movie player. Sometimes she gets too into the drama and can't get out of the role, so she gets stuck in that realm. Over repaired.
So Cultivation... Cultivation is to visualize the deity, which is my deity. If it is Guanyin Bodhisattva, I think every day that I am Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, then you think it is done for you, and then you forget whether you are practicing, you still are She didn’t really become Guanshiyin Bodhisattva, she just lived in that realm and couldn’t get out. Oh...it’s a pity, but she’s very clear in her mind, but she thinks she has changed a person, she has changed a person, and has forgotten herself. .
So we only need to know this. We don’t have to visualize the deity by ourselves. I am Amitabha. I go and tell people that I am Amitabha. Then everyone will run away when they see you.But it is really true. If we know the moment when we recite the Buddha, we are doing the Buddha, the heart is the Buddha, and the heart is the Buddha.If we know this theory in the Scriptures, then naturally, our mind and behavior will converge, and we will try our best to become more and more like a Buddha and bodhisattva without letting go... Anyway, I am a mortal, I It was so bad at first, even if you just mess around, the mentality and mood are completely different.

(XNUMX) The Blessed One’s original wish is the Amitabha Sutra
Master Shandao has a famous saying that old monks often use. He said: "Tathagata is born out of this world. Only the Amitabha's original vow is the sea." Amitabha's original vow refers to the eighteenth vow. The training program of the eighteenth vow is faith. , Willing, do.That is, this sutra is all the same.
Therefore, the Buddhas of the ten directions are not just the Blessed One and the Shakya Blessed One, he is the most important to teach in his life... the one he really wants to speak, his fundamental desire is this sutra, even the Buddhas of the ten directions are the same.Even Master Yu Yi told us that in the explanation of how the Blessed One became a Buddha, he also recites the Buddha and Amitabha Buddha became a Buddha, so we cannot neglect this sutra and this method.
Although the truth is not clear, because it is too noble, it is indeed the most wonderful of all laws. There is no way there is no method that can be compared with this method; and then when we truly understand, we can generate reverence and complete reverence. If we believe in such an attitude, we can get benefits soon.How fast is it?Just like the dragon girl offering orbs in the Lotus Sutra.Amitabha gave me this merit, as long as we accept it, you will become a Buddha right now.
If you truly believe in and receive, and recite the Buddha with the mind of believing and receiving, that is, when you see the Buddha, that is, when you become a Buddha, so fast!It’s not to wait for the Paradise of Bliss, but if we can’t take it straight down, then of course we won’t be able to feel it.So it’s very extraordinary. So, whether we are ordinary beings or not, we must understand at least one thing; we really cannot cultivate all the methods, and we can’t maintain the five precepts, so we still have to practice "precepts." "Hui" must be able to cultivate concentration, and then be able to inspire Wisdom of Prajna, it can really be said that it will definitely not be able to cultivate.
What should I do if I can't fix it?We have created a lot of bad karma again, and the inevitable result is to fall into the evil way, so we are running out of time, we must quickly find a way to find our way back, then what is the way back?There is only one-the "ten thoughts must produce aspirations" issued by Amitabha Buddha for us. This is the only way we can be liberated and not be negligent.

I have seen a small scripture in the Tripitaka, called the "Haishi Sanskrit Sutra".Hei is black and black. His surname is Hei. As for Fanzhi, he is a practitioner and a practitioner.This man he is a master who teaches scriptures.He has attained the four meditations and five abilities. Before the five supernatural powers appear, the final emptiness has not yet appeared, and before the emptiness appears, he can go out of the Three Realms.His realm of meditation reached the four meditations, so he attained the four meditations and five abilities. This meditation kung fu can allow him to ascend to Brahma at any time without any problem. He is free... He can be reborn to Brahma freely. He speaks and argues. It doesn't matter, so his Dharma Destiny is very good.
Then one day, among the audience, Yama and the Four Heavenly Kings are all his fans. Do you understand fans?This sentence is very popular in Taiwan. His admirers, believers, and even King Yama likes to listen to his lectures.But one day King Yama cried halfway through hearing the scriptures, and then this Brahma Zhi felt strange. He was usually very happy. Why was he crying today?He asked him, and King Yama told him, "You will be born into this place under my jurisdiction in seven days." He was startled when he heard it. How could it be possible? I have been able to ascend to Brahma freely. I am now If you want to go, you can go, how can you get to the area under your jurisdiction?
He told him: "Because when you are dying, you only have a thought and aversion." There are not many creditors in the Three Realms. The Blessed One was alive and there was Devadato who tried to harm him, and there were all creditors, only It's just such a thought on the deathbed, and it's depraved right now.
He heard that it was really creepy, so there are four great kings present here, and they all have supernatural powers. He told him, "It doesn't matter, there is a way. Now the Buddha is in Fragrant Mountain." His place is in Fragrant Mountain, and he is talking about it. Locally, he said that the Buddha now has a Buddha, and this one has become a Buddha. This is not long after the Buddha just became enlightened. It seems to be the second year. If the four heavenly kings have magical powers, they will tell him the news and say you hurry up and ask the Buddha to help. Save you.So he used his magical powers and flew in front of the Buddha, and the Buddha gave him instructions. He immediately attained the fruit, attained the Arahantship, and ran away from the Three Realms.
So if you look at someone like him, he can’t even imagine that he will fall, and he doesn’t believe it; then who knows what will happen at the end of the day, no one can be the master, even if he has supernatural powers, no matter how powerful it is, let alone us Not at all.So there is only this way. I can’t have a little bit of ignorance and fluke saying, “Anyway, my karma is not that heavy. Maybe I can still be a human in my next life...” It’s not that simple. People have four meditations and five abilities, and there is no chance for the human body. To do, he went directly to Santu to receive the report.
We know that hatred is the way of hell, greed is a hungry ghost, and stupidity is a beast.No matter how well you cultivate in this life, can you guarantee that when you are dying, the evil karma you have cultivated since your past life will appear first?Or does good karma appear first?Not necessarily. It’s not for the cultivation of this life. It may not be used for cultivation in this life, and it may only be used after immeasurable calamities.So there can be no chance, no chance. If we don’t confirm it quickly now, when impermanence comes, I think all of them will go to the third coating.At that time, no one can save you. Of course, except you, you really remember to call the Amitabha Buddha!But it’s not necessarily arrogant. If you don’t recite the Buddha well and don’t recite Him as a habit, then it’s very difficult!So we really have to use our heart and respect to believe and receive this method.

So how do we get ourselves into this sutra quickly? There is a shortcut, that is, we directly from Amitabha's heart, Amitabha's wish, we go to experience the relationship between Amitabha and us, we have a very familiar feeling of intimacy, we Naturally, it is easy to sense the intercourse.Therefore, among the forty-eight vows that we talked about before, from the previous "The Taoist Wish of No Evil" and "The Wish of No Evil", we can also experience the great compassion of Amitabha for us. heart.
What kind of mood is this? There is a passage in the "Nirvana Sutra" that we read again: "For example, if there is one person, and there are seven sons, it is the sickness of the seven sons. The heart of the parents is not unequal, but for the sick son, the heart is Overweight.The Tathagata is not unequal to all living beings, but to the sinner, the heart is biased, and to the freer, the Buddha is compassionate. This paragraph is for us, we are sinful, sinful and free, this kind of person is... He is an analogy: this parent has seven children, then among the seven children, the sick parent It is the unequal heart of his parents that cares about him most, but this is nature, and it will be so naturally, especially for the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. His compassion far exceeds the heart of his parents.
So for those of us who have serious sins and karma, He is very concerned about them and wants to be saved as soon as possible, so we don’t have to worry about our karma being so heavy, the more serious the karma, the more Buddha will come to save you, as long as you can believe it. , Ask Him for help.It is very difficult for many intellectuals to let go of this figure. They have to ask for help. They can't save their face, and they are also very arrogant. I don't think I don't need it at all. Rely on the Buddha? Believe it or not.So don’t think it’s simple. For those who don’t believe it, it’s hard to break through this point. It’s hard to admit that there’s nowhere to go and nothing to do. Only Amitabha can help him. It’s hard to get this face down.

Moreover, we must also understand that in the "Bei Hua Sutra", the sentient beings in the world of our samas were given away by fourteen Buddhas. I will read this scripture "Bei Hua Sutra": "It is fourteen thousand and four. The so-called heavy troubles of sentient beings are what the Buddha gives up.Specializing in evil karma, such as sentient beings, the world of Buddhas, is not tolerated.Such beings, cut off the roots of goodness, renounce good knowledge, and often harbor aversion, all wishing to fill the world of sāsama, all being rejected by the world of other buddhas, with heavy karma. 』
We heard and saw this paragraph really sweating all over the body. This is what is said in the Sutra of Compassion, saying that fourteen Buddhas let go, because our sin karma is too heavy. It’s not that he is not merciful and cannot be saved, only Amitabha can save us.So we need to understand that this is the relationship between us and Amitabha. Except for him, we really have no way to go, and his kindness to us is so great that he really surpasses the Buddhas in the ten directions.Therefore, it is said that it is the king of the Buddha, and the extreme respect of the light.
What other Buddhas could not do, He did not make a wish. If I could not come, I didn't want to come. This world of Sao Po is five turbid and evil worlds, but if you want to repay your grace, you have to come and repay Amitabha’s kindness.It is true that sentient beings are very difficult to save, but if we recruit students for Amitabha, there is no problem. No matter how difficult sentient beings are, Amitabha can save it.We only recruit students for Amitabha, so there is no problem.If you rely on the Buddha to directly save you, other Buddhas can't do it, so you don't come, why can't you come.And Amitabha Buddha not only made a vow for us, and he was not only waiting so anxiously to save us, but even his vows were actually fulfilled ten calamities ago.Our "Amitabha Sutra" also talks about it, so since the ten calamities have been around us every day, calling us, the kind of anxious mood, just like a parent, when the child goes out, he waits over there, and waits for the anxiety every day. heart of.
If we can really feel it, we will be in touch with Amitabha right now, and we will feel that we are really so happy for ourselves.I can't feel it at all, and we never know how to appreciate what Amitabha has done to us, are we very unfilial? This is a fact that we didn't notice, but it is a fact.

So when we found out one day, many of us would really cry and weep, sorrow and joy are mixed, the "sadness" is that we really let Amitabha take so much heart for us, we never knew it, we were fascinated! So a little bit I don't know how to be grateful and cherish. The "happy" is that we were so happy before, and finally we can be free.Otherwise, I always feel that this world is very pitiful, very lonely here, there is no one we can trust, and no one really cares for us. Even if our parents are closest to us, they themselves are very painful and troubled. What should I do?Very helpless!

I have never encountered other disasters or undesirable things. No, for fifteen years. It is true that what you say about this is true. We are also suffering from deep karma.
I used to be in my teens and XNUMXs, and I often felt like I was a headless person. I was a very confused person. Sometimes I remember one time when I called a public phone and the wallet was placed on the public phone. , And left after the fight, there were XNUMX to XNUMX Taiwan dollars inside, and disappeared.This kind of thing can happen too, and it is often headless and unconscious. This is a manifestation of karma.I was young at the time, and now I look young. It’s not easy to grow old when I become a monk. In fact, I’m already middle-aged, so don’t be fooled by my appearance.You see that when you’re only in your twenties, you’ve got such a serious employment barrier, and you often accidentally walk and fall and hit the wall. There is always one bag here and one bag there. These are disasters of all sizes.
My younger brother is even worse. I am a cousin. He is really a very good person. Such kind and honest men are too rare to marry a wife when they are in their thirties. How do they marry a wife?He is to attend a marriage agency, and you can introduce two if you pay NT$XNUMX. If you don't marry home, then you will receive NT$XNUMX.You marry a wife with that XNUMX yuan package, even if you are old, you can’t change this one. He doesn't believe it!Later, I was really scared of losing money, so I did two jobs and slept for more than two hours a day. I was really unbearable after seeing it. After several years, it was finally over, my life was almost gone, and I was in debt. More than five million, and a senior citizen. This wife is really unlucky. When he comes home, he will pay his debts with him and give birth to a child. Then he really clenched his teeth and passed by, sleeping for more than two hours a day, for many years. So I also helped him. I started the fate. Originally, our monks don’t care about lay affairs. Because my credit is very good, I use my credit card to help him. I can’t lend him money. I use my credit to lend him. Yes, otherwise it is true that sometimes after the past few years, life is gone and exhausted.I can’t help but believe this. He is good at everything and he is very enthusiastic to help others. He has no bad predestined relationships. He has good predestined relationships.It is killing karma, and killing karma is very heavy since childhood.

We must be able to become Buddhas, and we must not turn back.
We can’t neglect this scripture. You have to read every sentence and every word clearly, and you can truly develop confidence. Moreover, Master Shandao also said a paragraph in the "Concept Methodology". He took a paragraph from the "Honoring Sutra" and said: " Nor will it allow the evil spirits and gods to get convenience, and there will be no ills, deaths, or disasters. All disasters will naturally dissipate, and the heart will not be removed. "You see, evil spirits and evil gods can’t disturb. If you want to come to collect debts, you can’t collect them. Don’t be afraid. Whenever we mention the Buddha title, if you are not afraid, they will run away. If you come to seek merit, then you Give it back to him, save them by the way, don't be afraid, there will be no sudden illness, there will be no misfortune.All the calamities that originally existed dissipated naturally, and naturally they disappeared, because we thought that eight billion kalpas of life and death felony can be eliminated, and life and death felony can be eliminated. Then how can these calamities not be eliminated?So "it dissipates naturally, but it doesn't reach the heart. "Why does it not work for some people to recite the Buddha? They just don't care about it or believe it.Therefore, we must be faithful. If faith is not born, we must find a way to keep faith in ourselves. Don’t be smart and keep looking for what this paragraph means. Is it possible? Don’t beat your confidence yourself. If there is no benefit, it is yourself that suffers.
There is also this real case. It is not easy for a person who is generally crazy to get him back to normal. That is all karma, karma disease.There is an old Bodhisattva in mainland China. She has been crazy for more than XNUMX years. Have I mentioned this paragraph?No? There shouldn't be.She has been mad for more than XNUMX years. This madness is very difficult to treat. Many of them are sent to mental hospitals. Fortunately, her daughter-in-law is very filial. After studying Buddhism, she persuaded her to recite Buddhism. The way is to wait for her to eat every morning, midnight and evening, or to send face washing water in. As long as you enter the room, you will recite Amitabha.. Nammo Amitabha!Often read it to her, whether she understands it or not.
Then this mad woman, a madman is very sensitive. She was you who told her, and she thought you were scolding her. She said, "Strange, why are you scolding me?" She thought her daughter-in-law was scolding her when she read Amitabha, so listen. After a long time, the more angry she listened... She was very angry, and she thought, "Okay! You scold me, and I scold you too." When her wife scolded her, she scolded her three sentences: "Amitabha Amitabha! Amitabha!" Angrily scolded her, and when he came back, the two scolded and scolded every day... alas! One day, when she woke up, she suddenly ceased to be crazy, and recovered from her illness for more than XNUMX years.So many things in the mainland area are known to the whole village, and it spread to the whole village immediately, and many people came to visit and just leaned against the window to look. Is it true?How could she be good after being crazy for so long, curious!There happened to be one time when the old Bodhisattva was sewing clothes, and while she was sewing, she said, "Look at it! Just recite the Buddha." To them, they ran away as soon as they were scared.
I don't know if she is really good or not. If it is a fake, wait until the towel is thrown over again, run quickly, and use a peek. It's good to recite the Buddha like this, and she will persuade others.That's nothing, she doesn't understand it, and she doesn't understand the truth when she's crazy, and she still uses the tone of cursing when she recites the Buddha's name.
So when we were dying, we saw a lot of examples. A fellow practitioner in Million Town, her mother did the same. It was true that she didn't understand anything, but as long as she had the cause and condition of hearing the Buddha's name, she would be able to generate power.These are all real examples. Karma can be eliminated, disasters can be eliminated, and even the death of a Buddha will be handled in this Buddha name. Therefore, we must truly believe in our wishes and be XNUMX% trustworthy.

After the relic Buddha and the bhikkhus who crashed, all the celestial asuras, etc., he heard the content of this sutra from the Blessed One, only to rejoice and accept it, and went away as a gift.Believe and accept happily, in the "Blessed Life Sutra" it is said: "believe, receive and practice".They all believe and accept, even they can only believe and accept completely.
Today I turned over the end of "Ksitigarbha Sutra", but it was not like this. The last paragraph of it read: "All congregations will return to the festival and retreat together with their palms together." This is the end of the Ksitigarbha scripture. You can read other classics when you have time.You see.. "The Pure Land Scriptures" we only have to be happy, believe, and accept, and it turns out to be like this.If you look at the "Ksitigarbha Sutra", it is not, it is to pay respect to the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, put your hands together and retreat.That's it, it doesn't say anything about belief and practice, it's different.
Because the Pure Land Method is purely the realm of the Buddha, we can only believe, receive, and practice.So when you go back after listening, you have to truly follow the teachings, not just after listening, and then you have to repay the Buddha's grace with your heart, and only to promote this method is the most extraordinary.
The Master Yinguang had a discourse. Let’s read it again: "When the Dharma is the end of time, if you want to promote the pure land, you should pay attention to the strength of the Buddha and the strength of the self. Don't want to persuade people but slander life instead. This passage is a sequel to Wen Chao.
This is Master Yinguang persuading us in the end of the Dharma period. Of course, we are very clear that we must help others, and only advocate the pure land, but in the pure land, Master Yinguang also advises us: "It is difficult and easy to be detailed in the power of the Buddha and the size of self-reliance. Let’s play with it” and persuade us to follow the thoughts of Master Shandao, and make clear the difficulty and difficulty of relying on Buddha power and relying on self-reliance. This is what Master Yinguang taught us, that is, the difficulty of relying on Buddha power and relying on self-reliance. It is the most correct to promote the thought of good guidance.
The biggest difference between Shandao Thought and what other patriarchs taught is...XNUMX% depends on the power of Buddha, which is very simple.It’s very difficult if it’s two powers from others. He said that when we look at the power of the Buddha and how difficult it is to use it, we must use the power of the Buddha. I have no cultivation and no virtue, I have deep karma, and my eloquence is not good, but every place where the Dharma is unique, this is Really.
That’s because we promote the thought of good guidance, so Dharma is as unique as Master Shandao. It is mentioned in the "Death to Life" that Master Shandao promoted the situation at that time: "The number of scholars who worship is countless." Even ordinary women, and there is also a record in the "Legend to the West": "Three years later, the city of Chang'an has been filled with Buddhist chanters. Among its disciples, there are XNUMX or even XNUMX volumes of "Amitabha Sutra". , There are people who recite the ten thousand voices or even one hundred thousand voices in the daily class. During this period, those who recite the samādhi of the Buddha are uncountable, and those who appear on the deathbed of Ruixiang and get the pure land of life are not counted." Master Shandao himself promotes this kind of superiority, which is not comparable to the ancestors of the past. Those who do not know it can enter this state, and naturally they will diligently recite the Buddha, practice diligently, and take the superiority of the Dharma. , This is all recorded.Master Shandao himself is based on this thought to teach him, so he has such a big impact.Then we follow the thoughts of Master Shandao to promote the Pure Land Dharma, the same Dharma condition will be very special, this is the power of Amitabha Buddha, the blessing of Amitabha.Therefore, fellow practitioners must be motivated. After they believe, they will "believe, receive, and practice" and be happy to believe. This "faith" means that they believe, "receive" and accept, and they must be held up. Holding up includes self-interest and altruism. Consummation.
