Dear fellow practitioners, good noon, Amitabha!
Today is the first lecture that we are going to teach yoga and Buddha worship. From November 11nd, we will have four more lectures. We will introduce you to each of these four lectures. So this cause is also briefly mentioned here. It turns out that this time, we all saw on the poster that our Zhonghua Temple Saturday course is a special lecture, and every Saturday has a different theme.
Then after coming here, because our abbot Master, he has the will to invite Monk Guoqing to talk about the forty-eight vows during the Buddha III. Our Pure Land Method is a very important course, but the three-day Buddha III is absolutely impossible. I talked a lot, so I volunteered and in the last month, we temporarily changed this topic to the forty-eighth wish. After talking about the four sessions, about the second session, the fellow practitioners were also very enthusiastic in attending.
However, I heard a little bit of wind. This wind came from our abbot, the licensed continued master. He told me that many of our fellow practitioners in Toronto, Canada, like longevity and some health regimens. Then I thought of the health regimen. Then I have a trick called "Yoga worshiping Buddha." It's better to take it out and contribute to everyone, so this is how the cause and condition come about.
So because Forty-Eight I want to talk about it in two sessions to complete it, so I’m fortunate because our old monk Jingkong taught well. We have learned the method of teaching, and we can talk long and short, so I finally ended up in the next two sessions. It is also the fulfillment of the forty-eight wishes, so we can go very smoothly today and take everyone to learn "Yoga worshiping Buddha" together.
Actually, it’s been more than a month since I came to Toronto to make dharma with you. In these two days, my heart is full of feelings, very full, very full, and now I’m free to talk to you. !There may not be any rules. When I go back, I will calm down and write a few articles to share with you on Facebook.
Here I will just talk about my feelings. This trip came to this... This is also the first time I have travelled. In the past ten years, I have probably been in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Mainland China, and Hong Kong. Dharma, this is the first time to come to North America.
So we often see in the scriptures that it is mentioned in the Buddhist scriptures that the Buddha can only become a Buddha in our saha world. Why?Because this world of Sao Po is bitter and mixed, no Buddha will ascend to the sky to show a ready-made Buddha, so this sentence made me feel so deeply after coming here. Why?Because of our fellow practitioners here!The blessing is pretty big.
In particular, after I came here, I learned that the people who immigrated after 2000 would be more rewarded. Unlike the early XNUMX or XNUMX years ago, there may be some refugees. These people now come here. The retribution is pretty good, so when it comes to studying Buddhism, of course, what the Buddha said is fulfilled. It is very difficult for sentient beings with great blessings to practice.
So when I first came, I was very uncomfortable, and for me, I also had a lot of experience and blessings, which gave me some profound experience, because I was in Southeast Asia before, and the Dharma was pretty good!So wherever everyone goes, everyone is very motivated to learn, so especially last year I taught on Facebook, last year, 2012, almost two years.
At the beginning of 2012, I taught a group of students. Everyone was often beaten by me, and then I haven’t run since I’ve been beaten, and they are all very accomplished. So I’m used to playing them, so I came here to see. Oh!The fellow practitioners here can't fight. If you want to fight, you can only fight yourself, otherwise something will happen!So when I came, I immediately adjusted myself one hundred and eighty degrees.
How has every aspect of your mentality become?Become real, I am ready to be beaten. I have this mentality to let sentient beings be beaten first, so that they are very happy. After letting his heart soften, he is willing to be taught. As soon as I came, I realized that I had to With such preparations, this trick is needed.
Fortunately, after more than a month, I have also seen everyone's changes. Of course this is not my ability!We don't have much practice. This is the power of the law and the blessing of the Three Jewels. The most important thing is that our fellow practitioners do have good roots. If they don't have good roots, they can't be taught, and how you teach them is useless.
Then why did I feel that I didn't have a good condition for practice before?Because very few people have the opportunity to listen to the Fa. They don’t know what practice is, and what attitude they should have in practice. Then it’s because of the great blessings. Although many masters came here in the past, everyone followed everyone. No one dared. Strict teaching, so everyone has ills instead.
In other words, when many masters come, they beat themselves, cultivate forbearance and do not dare to do anything to you. Then it is difficult for you to realize that there is still a way to cultivate an attitude, so what's the problem? ?Because you can't learn anything, so especially the most basic respect, how to respect the Sambo?If you haven't learned it, if you haven't learned it, you won't be able to get the benefits of the Fa!Always at the door.
Then what is the ill?Do you think that there are so many masters, and you have listened to the Fa a lot. I have seen a lot of masters, and that’s just the case with monks! So when I first came, I sometimes heard some fellow practitioners comparing, which master is like, Which mage is like, although the last sentence is to praise me, I think you are the best.
Including that we still have fellow initiates today, the volunteers in our library here, the deacon volunteers said, wow!Seeing so many masters come, it is your Dharma Destiny that is the best, but after I listened to it, especially when I heard some, when I first came, I heard some fellow practitioners making comparisons. I was actually quite sad. I would not be complacent. I think there is this kind of mentality, which shows that you have not entered your mind with this Fa.
There are so many mages here, but they didn't get their heart. Wow!It shows that everyone has serious karma!what is this?No one dared to teach the relationship between Fubaoda, so many people did not learn a little bit. Maybe everyone learned a lot. I think I understand a lot. I have listened to a lot of Dharma, memorized a lot of names, and got to know a lot of masters..., But in fact, there is a layer of bulletproof glass, you have not seen it yourself, and there is no entry at all.
But at the beginning, I found that I still can’t start, because I’m still one of the objects being compared, but it’s a bit better. If another one is better than me, I’ll be compared. So At the beginning, I didn't dare to want to change this situation. After a period of time, I slowly looked for opportunities to do both soft and hard.
Finally, I saw a little bit of fruit, especially for ourselves. This time our monk Guoqing came to preach the precepts. Everyone was very motivated. During the process of taking the precepts, I saw that many fellow practitioners also felt the phenomenon of the precepts. La!Some cried bitterly!Some seem to have a much softer attitude and face, and then develop an admiring look towards the Three Jewels, which comes from the heart.

(XNUMX) To practice sincerely, we must take precepts as the teacher and suffering as the teacher
We Buddha disciples, we are talking about spiritual practice, if you don't have faith, you can't practice.There must be a kind of admiration for the Three Treasures, not idols like worshiping the Four Heavenly Kings!It is from the heart that there is a kind of respect and admiration, rather than the kind of acting. What are the specialties of this and what are the characteristics of that. The masters are not here to please you, but to pass the Fa to you. .
You received it through your respectful heart, so explain these changes. After more than a month, it shows that everyone has good roots. However, when we talk about this, we still have to say a truth, a more truthful word, and a more tangible thing. There was just now. A little bit of comfort and skill, but what I want to talk about now is the attitude of true practice, especially with the tools for renunciation and birth practice. I haven't seen one yet.
I think it's a pity, because the quality of our fellow practitioners here is very good, not inferior to some fellow practitioners in Southeast Asia. Why?Because, like Malaysia and Singapore, their Chinese is even worse. Many of us here are from the mainland. The Chinese language is very good and the quality of itself is very good. If there is no way to find the right way to get started, they can inspire such good qualifications for their good roots. It would be a pity to develop it!
If you have poor Chinese proficiency, poor comprehension, and poor comprehension, you can’t do anything if you talk to you for a long time. Then you have to ask you to recite Buddhism and cultivate good roots. But everyone has this condition, but the difference is that you still don’t know how. In this way, find a way to get started. The so-called practice is not to come here to practice together. This is just one of the superficial conditions!
If you want to practice, of course you must also participate in group practice!But this is still superficial. For true practice, you must... Before the Buddha died, his disciples asked for instructions. The Buddha explained that taking precepts as a teacher and suffering as a teacher, right?This is a very clear standard. We take the precepts as our teacher. Through the grand occasion of preaching the precepts this time, and everyone's enthusiasm, we can indeed see that everyone has the intention to practice.
But, take suffering as a teacher, alas!I'm afraid it's difficult!To learn from suffering, you must really talk about strength. Do you really want to practice?You really want to practice, and you have to be able to eat incense board. This incense board is an advanced class. You don’t want to beat you as soon as you enter the door. Then you must run fast. You have to have this kind of mental preparation. , I want to be taught at any time.
Secondly, it means that you have to take suffering as your teacher. Basically, through observance of the precepts, we have to restrain ourselves. When we come to the dojo, we have to speak softly. Don't treat it like a chat party. We still have this atmosphere today!right?That's actually a lot better than the lifestyles of these people like you, foreigners, and the lifestyles of people in society, but it's still not enough based on the standards of practice.
A place for monasticism!The magnetic field everywhere should be very peaceful, solemn, and solemn, and then from this tranquility to feel the kind of so-called realm of reality, that is, the Buddha wants us to enter into the realm. In that state, if you are all talking and gathering, then there is no precept, not to mention the need to endure hardship and take hardship as your teacher.
If you don’t endure hardship, this kind of suffering has body and mind. It’s not just physical toil. In your heart, you have to restrain yourself. You have to restrain your pursuit of wealth, body, name, food, and sleep, and this is also the case. Endure hardship. If we don't start from here to truly practice, we can't talk about cultivation. This is the basic self-restraint.
Furthermore, no matter how blessed, predestined, and respectful you are, and if you encounter good knowledge, you are willing to teach you and play incense sticks. If he sees that you can't run, he dares to fight!right?Only then will you be able to make further progress and become a real magic weapon, magic weapon!We want to be like a container!Ability to load method.
You can even look at people. If you can't scold or read, how can you have a bad relationship with you?So this is us, I see the phenomenon here, and I also hope that everyone can make a breakthrough, otherwise you will waste such a good cause and condition, and your own qualifications in vain.
No matter how long you study, and on the surface, no matter how long you work together, you won’t make much progress, just create a little less karma!If you come to practice together, you will create less karma. If you don’t practice together, you will go to Shopping, where you can eat, drink, and gossip!That's it, but the benefits are too few, and the benefits are too few. What a pity!

(XNUMX) Yoga and worshipping Buddha is a practice course for us Buddhists
So this time, why did we arrange "Yoga worshiping Buddha", it has something to do with everyone's roots!I am also following everyone. Originally, we could talk about something more advanced. Everyone can enter the advanced class. Because it is rare to run so far, of course I hope to share with you as much as possible. Everyone is also very because It is difficult to come to participate in a group practice and listen to the scriptures.
As soon as I came to follow the Master, I told me that the people here in Toronto who listen to the scriptures are like a Baiye. It is very difficult to have one listen to the scriptures. It is equivalent to a hundred people who come to participate. It is so difficult and rare. , So I also hope to see everyone, everyone can get a lot of benefits.But you see, my speech has been changing, and our courses have been changing. It is to cooperate with everyone's roots and a situation that everyone can accept.
Then slowly adjust the tune, until now my scale is getting lower and lower, and the scale is getting lower and lower, but fortunately, at least to keep everyone’s interest, the number of people we come to practice together has at least not decreased, and sometimes they have increased. They are all very rare. Our fellow practitioners today said that I have never come here to preach the Dharma. The Dharma is so good and everyone is so supportive.
What is the first game now?It’s five games, and we said that the third game is even a fan. Come and listen to the three games, even if you are a fan. It’s hard to say, usually less and less, less and less, and then it’s almost ready before finishing the talk. It can be over, it can be closed. Our phenomenon is already really good. This is where I feel quite relieved. I have indeed seen growth and achievements.
Especially this time when lawyer Guo Qing came to preach the precepts, this kind of Buddha Three and the great blessing power of preaching the precepts. Seeing that everyone is really different, some have become bigger, some are more or less a little bit different. change.So although we learn through the skill of "yoga worshiping Buddha", in fact, everyone doesn't need to think, alas!Did I learn too little? That's not it.
From Huayan's point of view, if one contains more, what about this one?A very simple Dhamma. It contains many and infinite benefits. If we can learn in this way, "Yoga worshiping Buddha" is equivalent to our XNUMX Dharma, and all the three Tibetans and twelve books are in it. It depends on everyone. Absorptive capacity!
Through worshipping Buddha, it is indeed very important and practical, because "Yoga worshiping Buddha" is to give us Buddhist chanting homework for the main practice. Traditional Buddha worship is also very good, but I think that "yoga worshipping Buddha" is better. Where is the difference?Each has its own characteristics, but what is the difference?You can experience it by yourself, and after we learn it, you can experience it by yourself.
So traditional Buddha worship, we can also go to the temple in the Daxiong Hall, and we also use the traditional Buddha worship. I especially want to remind everyone that we must not worship when we "yoga worship Buddha" when we go to the Daxiong Hall, and use the traditional Buddha worship. Bye, why?Because we have an action, you guys have seen that poster!In the last move, we have to raise our hands, right?
There is such a yoga movement, of course the Daxiong Hall can imagine it, it has a certain standard!We are in the jungle and in the monastery. There are certain rules for walking, living, sitting, and lying down. If you leave this rule, people will find it weird at first glance. Wait a minute, people will treat you as a way to get up, right? ?Do you listen to Hokkien?
It's a god from the beginning!That Taoism isn’t why someone in your family is sick, alas!Seeing a doctor didn't work, then quickly went to Taoism, asked the gods to descend, and then kept trembling as if they were going crazy over there, waving both hands, some even took knives!Take a knife and chop on the back of yourself, I wonder if you have seen it?This Taoist folklore way of saving sentient beings is to ask the gods to descend and possess their bodies.
Or maybe there are some living beings or ghosts, some relatives and creditors. We have seen a lot of them. The behavior is very strange. Then we raise our hands. People don’t know that you are like that. Don’t misunderstand others. What are you doing?You say that you are worshiping Buddha in yoga, and it is miserable! This image has been discredited by you, so “yoga worshiping Buddha” is not suitable for worshiping in the main hall.
But we can worship together when we practice together. I have advocated this for many years. Some Jingzong societies have always opened classes. For many years until now, they have been leading everyone to worship Buddha and practice together. It doesn’t matter if we are in our own group. , Let’s learn together in my own group! This is a professional homework, and you won’t find it very strange, because you’ve learned it all and have many levels of worship, and many practitioners have achieved good results.

I have taught them all, and those who have such subjects have taught them.Some fellow practitioners just advocated that we performed many miracles in the first one or two months. I didn't expect the effect to be so obvious. This is a personal motivation, because they suffer from more serious illnesses!
I was in a hurry to go to the doctor. Anyway, I learned a lot of miracles. They also recorded and showed up. We have a circulating CD. After some fellow practitioners worshiped the Buddha, they shared some of their own benefits. You can go to Google. There is a Youku to inquire about "Sharing the merits and practical results of yoga and worshipping Buddha". You can all watch the CD in it.
Probably we only arranged ten fellow practitioners. Their sharing, like some ten years of constipation, a beautician!Her skin looks good. It turned out to be because she had worshipped recently. After a while, her whole person has changed. Ten years of constipation, you think about it, people with poor stomach and intestines can’t have good skin. She still As a beautician, the appearance of the beautician's skin is very important, so after her worship, the skin of her whole person has been greatly improved.
When she came to share, I saw that her skin looked good and shiny, which helped her a lot, and that little boy in elementary school!His mother is...their family is Christian, and his father is Christian. Then he came into contact with us by chance. He was probably eleven or two years old in elementary school. I’m not sure how old he is. He has A gastrointestinal problem.
The doctor said that name. The English is very long. I didn’t memorize it. There are very few names and the disease is rare. The doctor treated him for three or four years but he couldn’t be cured. Often the abdominal distension and pain were so severe that he couldn’t go to class. It affected the class, and then my mother felt very distressed, but after two or three days of worship, it began to heal, the phenomenon began to heal, and it changed. Seeing the effect, soon!
It means that if you apply the right medicine to the symptoms, it will be effective immediately. If you are not right, it won’t work for a long time! What else, the lumbar spine has been crooked for seven or eight years, often painful shoulder pain, the whole bones are... about forty years old Of men!He seemed to worship for more than a month, and he didn't know if he was healed. One day he went to see a Chinese medicine doctor with someone. The Chinese doctor said, would you like to check it by the way, as soon as the check is all right.
He himself didn't know that the worship would be done, because he didn't dare to imagine that he would be cured so soon, seven or eight years old, and there are some other fellow practitioners to share, you might as well worship yourself!The simplest one was that he also talked about it, but he didn't record this one because he had too little symptoms.
He said that one day he was going to catch a cold. He got up in the morning and snorted and started to feel dizzy. So he went to worship three times and it was all right!It will be resolved immediately.So this is a cold. If we have the symptoms together, we can put it down and it will be fine. It's the same as when I came here. The first night I just came, I didn't understand it!They gave me two quilts, I covered a thin and comfortable quilt and fell asleep.
I woke up from the cold in the middle of the night. When I woke up, I felt like my whole body was like a popsicle. I don’t know how long it has been cold. As a result, I felt a little cold and prayed to the Buddha. The voice changed a little. After praying to the Buddha, I sweated. , Drink water and immediately suppress it.
Why is there such a good effect? In addition to this action, there is also our three prayers and ten minutes, which is guaranteed to make you sweat.Three prayers!This is something that our traditional worship of Buddha cannot achieve, and I used to do it myself!Worshiping traditions may be because we have not mastered our own methods very well!But it is true that there are indeed some differences because of some of the actions that we use to "worship the Buddha through yoga."
The traditional worship of Buddha is mainly to inspire our respect!I am slow to subdue us, and its merit is here.There is no special emphasis on the adjustments of the body meridians, so we used to worship, and the worship was very fast. Every time I finished the worship, I felt dizzy, and the worship was very hard. Moreover, we used to be in Singapore’s Huslin, and we chanted Buddha. Need to punch in!
At that time, Hu Shilin chanted Buddhism XNUMX hours a day!I don’t know if anyone has ever heard of it. They should have heard of it. They recite the Buddha XNUMX hours a day, and then it’s all air-conditioned.We every day!Our monks clock in for eight hours a day, that is, you must be in it for eight hours, either practicing or worshiping the Buddha. I spend a long time worshipping the Buddha. The more I worship, the more tired I get.
Because when we worship Buddha, it is better not to blow air-conditioning. If you worship, you will sweat first and your pores will be opened!It is not very good to pour in the air conditioner, it is really a last resort.Sometimes you participate in the Seventh Buddha. If this happens, take a towel next to you and wipe it off if you sweat. So the method is very important.
I used to think that worshipping Buddha was a very painful thing for me, because I was very experienced and we had to worship!The clocking in is either by practicing or worshiping Buddha or sitting in meditation. Later, after having the opportunity to learn "Yoga worshiping Buddha", I deeply felt the difference, but the two are not contradictory. We just said that worshipping Buddha is required Introduce everyone as your usual homework.
When we worship the Buddha, the practice of reciting the Buddha and worshiping the Buddha is the same as our main practice method, and it is the way of worship. Today I will teach you first. After you worship, you will know that they are actually the same, but they all look the same. In fact, there is still a big difference to understand in detail. It is the same if the Buddha is very solemn, and the same is the Buddha, and then it can also inspire our respectfulness, but the differences in the details are relatively large, that is, the effect is different, that is at this place.

Why did I think of advocating "Yoga worshiping Buddha" at that time?I ordered this term, because around 2010, I had a very good relationship with fellow practitioners in Malaysia. It can be said that wherever I go, my relationship with the law is the best. After listening, many practitioners were able to establish death. Confidence, including the painful chanting of the two or thirty-year-old Buddhists, haha, there is no news. This is the merit of Master Shandao, not my strength.
After I got my own benefits, I became Amitabha's messenger. I went to share with you the benefits I got and how to get the methods and theories to build confidence in the rebirth. Therefore, even if it’s just a lesson, someone will build it right away. The faith in the rebirth is very great. The audience is getting more and more every day. It is like this in every place. It is not a fluke to one or two places.
Everywhere is like this, because seeing this phenomenon, I thought that we should think of a way to help everyone maintain this kind of confidence, although true confidence will not retreat once we are reborn in the Pure Land. , After we have confidence, we will not retreat, but because after the establishment, all sentient beings have nothing to do, so we will just wait for the rebirth!
But although there is nothing to do, our habit of greed, hatred, and ignorance since the beginning of the robbery is very heavy. If you didn't find something to do, then you must have accidentally created karma again, right?So I thought that I should take everyone to continue to work hard, so how do I work hard?I can't always follow and lead you to practice together.
In Malaysia, it’s also rare that there are masters often there, leading everyone to practice together for a long time, so I thought of advocating Buddha worship, but traditional Buddha worship, I don’t feel like worshipping, so I don’t want to introduce it to everyone.
