Dear fellow practitioners, good noon, Amitabha!
Today is the second lecture that we teach yoga and worship Buddha. The last time we have taught the method of worshipping Buddha, the fellow practitioners have learned very fast. Even the XNUMX-something old Bodhisattva seems to have learned it. She is my little boy. Waiter, cook for me every day, and I asked her today, do you worship Buddha every day?She said yes.Everyone learns very quickly, so our learning atmosphere here is actually very good. It proves that everyone can be taught and can be taught. Although when I first came, I felt that we were cultivators here. I just came here more than a month ago. , I feel that most of our fellow practitioners are still tired of blessings, and the blessings are too great to practice.
But after more than a month, with our joint efforts, when I first came, I didn’t dare to scold, nor... let alone hit the incense sticks. In the end, I even had to cultivate patience, and I had to persevere. Follow all sentient beings and let others at their mercy. In the end, I couldn’t do it. I looked for opportunities to regain our sovereignty. We did both soft and hard. Later, we found out that we can teach fellow practitioners. Some of the previous behaviors were not deliberate because we didn’t learn it before and didn’t understand. How to respect the Three Jewels and how to have a spiritual attitude?So it's true that in the short period of more than a month, you can see the number of our fellow practitioners present and our attitude toward learning.
Not long ago, our abbot, Master Zhaoxu, we are still talking, because he hopes that I can come back often and continue to learn with everyone. He also thinks that our fellow practitioners here can indeed teach, but although he can teach Don’t be too happy, because the impact of this blessing can’t be solved in three or two days, so if we really can practice and see the results, it still takes a long time. On the one hand, we continue to cultivate respect. Mind, to establish our correct attitude towards practice, on the one hand, we must also encourage ourselves, and truly practice diligently.
Don’t say that if a master comes, it will start. Everyone is in a good atmosphere. Every week, the master’s no longer heard of the Fa, and the Fa learned. If this is the case, you will come back to teach immediately, and you will have to start from the beginning. It’s very hard, so Regardless of the future cause, I don't know when will I come next time?But I hope you learned yoga and worshiping Buddha this time. This is our way of doing things. It is a very important lesson. I hope you can really learn it. In the next lesson, we can learn it to Consummation. After learning it, we will worship every day.
For the students on Facebook, we have a class, the Pure Land Sect of Taoism's Guanglun class. They have been studying with me for almost two years. They worship Buddha every day. We have homework. Although our class is teaching on the Internet, Basically, it’s pretty strict. You have to memorize verses, memorize our textbooks, memorize the rules of Buddhist disciples, memorize extensive courses, worship Buddha every day, register and record, but I I won’t put pressure on everyone. I didn’t give you a limit on how much homework you have to do in one day. It’s completely automatic and spontaneous, because everyone is very happy in learning, so our records, whether it’s a record of doing a job or a record of unlocking a door. , Everyone’s recitation progress is very fast, so that the learning atmosphere can last for a long time, and the results can be seen soon.
If you are always enthusiastic about three points, you have finally brought up this kind of spiritual atmosphere and your intentions, but you yourself are not sure to grasp this kind of Taoism and develop long-term thinking, because after all, the practice still depends on your own efforts, and the master leads It’s up to you to enter and practice, and here I can only urge you in particular. If you say that you have achieved good results in your studies, it seems that you have made obvious progress. We are sure that our fate will be even better in the future, and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will definitely send me to check and accept you. If there is no result, what shall I do?It's not interesting to teach from scratch.
If there are still some masters coming to teach in the future, we can also take the same heart to rejoice, but we must remember that because the Buddha taught XNUMX teachings for sentient beings of different roots, no matter what we learn, we As long as I choose one that truly fits with us, I can benefit from my own practice and be able to rejoice in the Dharma. If this is the case, after finding it, you will have to go deep into it. We can rejoice in the other dharma. Feel free to admire it.
For example, in our class, we are mainly cultivating the Pure Land. Maybe only XNUMX% of the people respond, and XNUMX% of the people don’t respond. Therefore, many of our causes are also very good. Many masters who practice different disciplines will come here to communicate with you, then The fellow practitioners chose a corresponding method according to their own roots, and continued to deepen and become more specialized every day. Only when you concentrate your firepower will your achievements be rapid.

(XNUMX) A truly convinced disciple must vow to follow and follow Master's practice throughout his life
Specialization does not hinder rejoicing, let alone that we start to concentrate on the Buddha, and our minds become smaller. This is not good. Our "Blessed Life Sutra" speaks of the virtues of Samantabhadra, Samantabhadra is Pusa The king, his mind is the greatest, so we can also please, don’t compare the mages, it doesn’t matter whether this is great or that is not great, it doesn’t matter whether it’s great or not, the most important thing for us is to know how to absorb the strengths of others, and how to admire as we please. , And then know how to stay still, to cultivate one's own major, this is very important.
Don’t bring back all good and good things, then you will get nothing in the end. This is not called rejoicing, this is called having no opinion and no one, then you will never reach the shore. This is very important because we are targeting us. Here are the causes and conditions of fellow practitioners, let me remind everyone.
Because before I came here, many mages have been here, right?Of course, many masters also practice the Pure Land, so everyone speaks from a different angle and speaks different language habits. If you respond, you should specifically rely on learning, and the best thing is to find a real master.
We practice Zen, Tantra, and Pure Land in the same way. You must have a master, a master you are absolutely dependent on. You are accustomed to his teaching mode and the way he speaks. After you get used to it, you will become enlightened and listen. Get used to it!Because the way everyone expresses is in line with the skillfulness of sentient beings and has its own characteristics, one must find a fundamental guru, a fundamental master, and then other masters also speak about the pure land. We can also learn and learn from his strengths, but It means that there is a master and a deputy, and I have to decide. A disciple who is truly convinced is that there must be a teacher in his heart who he most respects and vowed to follow throughout his life. This is the most convincing disciple.
He can have a real support in his heart. It will not seem like he knows a lot and has a wide range of connections. As a result, everyone is not familiar with us, because the friendship is not deep enough. Then you have no sense of fullness in your heart, and it is very weak. Through the blessing of the teacher, you will be able to improve your realm, so that there are fewer predestined relationships. If the predestined relationship is not deep and not close, everyone must have these concepts. It is important to remember.If we say that we don’t have this fate, of course we can’t do anything about it. The main reason is that we have to motivate ourselves. If we are not respectful ourselves, I think alas!Anything is good, treat rejoice as random, and you will never find a master or a fundamental guru.
How do you find this fundamental guru?How do you find the fundamental dependence master?It's not whether he is practicing well or not. There are too many people who are practicing well in this world, and we can't tell whether they are good or not. They don't have that ability. So the standard depends on our predestined condition. Doesn't it correspond to our predestined condition?If you meet a ten-year-old master who can teach you joy, peace of mind, benefit, and know how to practice well, then he is your fundamental master, and you have to wish to follow him throughout your life. This is a standard. , Such a judgment.
Don't compare all the time. Which master is better at cultivation level?I only worshipped him as a teacher. Suppose that you really selected an Arahant or Mahayana Bodhisattva who has a very good practice. But if you are not so close to him, you can't understand what he says, right?If you don’t understand you, it’s impossible to do it happily. Then you won’t get any benefits. That’s true. So we don’t want to be greedy, don’t look at how good others are. We have to rely on a Ph.D. The problem is that you are a primary school student, can’t you listen Understand what the doctor is talking about, other doctors have no meaning to you at all, and the language habits of teaching are different.

(XNUMX) The goal of yoga worshipping Buddha is to worship Buddhahood
In the last game, we have already taught the method of worshiping Buddha, and also talked about the efficacy of yoga worshiping Buddha. Here I will talk more about the part of the realm where the efficacy of Buddha worship is relatively high. Last time we only talked about healing and health preservation. , Physical and mental illnesses can be treated and purified. This time, from the realm of our cultivation, I will add it again.
One of the characteristics of our worship is that it is very slow. Last time we talked as slowly as possible. Three prayers and ten minutes, please raise your hands if you go back and see if you are more obedient, how are the boys...are the guys busy?Or is the bone too hard?The bones are too hard to worship. It’s too late to worship when I’m old. I’ll watch the women again. I didn’t watch it just now. It’s not bad, not bad. It’s great that more than half of the people will become Buddhas! Let’s talk about it now. The goal of our method of worshipping Buddha is to worship and attain Buddhahood. It is not just to treat your body. These diseases of the body, mind, and body can actually be solved by looking for a doctor. The problem at hand can be solved, but the doctor can’t do it. It's the matter of us becoming a Buddha.
Not only can we become a Buddha, because we all know that we worship Buddha means worship Amitabha, so by taking advantage of Amitabha’s aspiration, we can all become Buddha as long as we believe in the aspiration. We all know this, but there is another effect that we are in the process of worshiping. Among them, although our goal is to survive in bliss, but sometimes we will worship enlightenment if we are not careful!Accidentally, incidentally, and how difficult this enlightenment is!
In terms of our root nature, we can’t do anything about it. Those who are at the root can be enlightened, but it is possible that they may accidentally become enlightened during the process of yoga and worshipping the Buddha. Do you understand?Our goal in worshiping our hearts is to seek rebirth in the blissful world. We worship Amitabha and ask for the blessings of Amitabha. This goal is very simple and everyone can achieve it, not for enlightenment!If we seek enlightenment, I am afraid that we will not be able to enlighten ourselves if we have the heart that seeks it. That is to say, on our own, whether you worship Buddha, go to Zen, or meditate, it is very difficult, and it is too difficult to be enlightened.
But we are worshiping yoga and Buddha, we do not seek enlightenment, we seek the blessing of the Buddha to lead to life, do not seek, do not seek enlightenment, but in the process of not seeking enlightenment, it is very possible, unconsciously enlightenment, why? What?On the one hand it is the blessing of Buddha, on the other hand it is because our worship is very slow, three prayers for ten minutes, it is best to pray for up to twenty minutes, so that if you do not carelessly, you will settle in there, and maybe you will stand and die. If you die in Dingzhong, this is all possible.
Like our little waiter, the old Bodhisattva in her eighties, she cooks here for me every day, because we are very quiet, so only this old man, except for walking, I just do my homework in the squatter, OK The homework to solve the door is like this every day, and most of them have been like this for more than a decade.She is also very quiet. Sometimes she accidentally watched her doing her homework in the Buddhist hall. She was very focused in that way. She stood there and didn't move. Didn't she know what she was doing?It’s not like doing prayers. Once I happened to see the back of her from the glass outside of us. She stood there as if she was going to die, so the blessing of our Buddha is incredible, as long as we can find Slowness is the key to the correct method. If you are too fast, it will be difficult to get into this situation. This method is also very important.
What does the so-called enlightenment look like?Enlightenment means that our rooftops are talking about cessation and insight, cessation and double destiny means that there is cessation and insight, and cessation means that there is meditation in the mind, and then the situation is clear and wisdom. Precept, concentration, and wisdom appear at the same time. When you are done, you will become silly, empty and empty. Entering emptiness is called empty empty. It seems that the inner environment is very quiet and there is no delusion, but it doesn't work if you don't understand anything outside.I'll talk about this state by the way, because what I didn't say last time is too difficult, so I will mention here, we don't have to pursue it, but if you get into this state someday, you don't need to find it strange. Congratulations. La!
What state is that?Let me give you an example. If we look at this wheel, the wheel, the wheel keeps turning, it is in a moving state, right?But there is an axis in the wheel, do you know?Where is the axis?In the middle, but in the middle of the analysis, there will be another middle, I can't find it, but is there?Yes, we all know that there is an axis, but you really can’t find it. This is the physical nature, which is our Buddha nature. When we worship the Buddha, we have to experience it in this way. When we worship the Buddha, we are moving, right? ?But there is a static state in the movement, and the state of silence is our self-nature and our Buddha-nature.
If we worship to a certain level, we have to calm down both physically and mentally. We can perceive this state of silence. We can perceive and experience the state of being very quiet and dying inside. We can’t notice it now, right?Now that we sit quietly, all we see are a lot of delusions, right?What we perceive is delusion, right?But through our worship of Buddha, when the six sense elements are collected to a certain level, when we focus to a certain level, our delusions temporarily suspend. At that time, we will suddenly become aware of the quiet part, which is the moment of silence. State, we will catch it, understand?That is the realm of meditation, that is, the essence of self-nature and Buddha-nature, because we have just talked about the axis of the wheel, we see it, and the axis of the wheel, we see it, so understand?
It’s good to know first, but knowing it doesn’t mean that you are proving the Dao, you are going to worship, and after a certain level of worship, you will grasp that state and enter that state. At that time, your Fa is happy!It's really unspeakable, why?Because of the kind of peace in your heart, that kind of peace will make you very cool and relieved, so why do we need to practice?To practice precept, concentration, and wisdom?It is to realize this state of silence and Nirvana, and then there is vipassana in that state, which means that the external environment is clear and wisdom can be used, not that it is completely immersed in this emptiness. , That's an Arahant, that's an Arahant who's vacant. This is not possible, this is not satisfactory.
My heart is cool and liberated, but his wisdom can’t be of great use or benefit sentient beings. Our Dharma worship can help us unconsciously achieve our kung fu of contemplation and movement because of the existence of stillness and movement at the same time. The state of being quiet and comfortable is through the speed at which we worship Buddha, and we rely on the blessing of Buddha power. Under such an overall effect, you will suddenly... one day you will suddenly realize it.
Let me share with you my own example. In 2012, you all know that many of our fellow practitioners are waiting to die, right?Are you prepared?Or is it to hoard a lot of materials, rice, oil, and salt, and prepare to live on this earth alone?No! Don’t be so overwhelmed. If a catastrophe occurs at that time, you’ll be busy smelling those corpses all day long. What's the point of being alive alone?Life is better than death, so we waited all day for death, but we were not afraid. We were absolutely not afraid, just let the flow go.
Because our old monk Jingkong also called for it! By this cause, we regarded it as the day of death to obtain evidence in Keqi, so we began to prepare around 2010, and then we have some arrangements in Malaysia, and some propaganda. Karma also needs to be completed, so I have been busy until 2012 and settled down in our Taoist Temple in Taitung. I am ready to recite the Buddha for a year, and then wait until December 12st. Is there any?Prophecy that day, let's go!As a result, because I met someone on Facebook who asked for Dharma and enlightenment, I went back to the next half and half of the time, and half of the time I taught them to fellow practitioners on Facebook. On the one hand, I still focus on chanting Buddha. I recite Buddhism every year. In the mood at the time, I might really recite my death after reciting it, because of resignation!All sentient beings need us, and I try my best to make connections with everyone, but although only half of the time, wow! That induction is also very strong, I did not expect it, because we just want to ask for death.
You know that during 2010-12, many fellow practitioners were really devoted to chanting Buddhism. Everyone believed that there might be a catastrophe, right?Because there are too many similar predictions, and the predictions of various religions and scientists in all aspects, all the big things will happen on that day. Therefore, this time’s predictions are more shocking than the previous doomsday predictions, so we do That kind of affinity is very strong, that is, anyway, I am reciting the Buddha all day long and preparing to die, so I still worship Buddha in yoga. It is affirmative that I worship Buddha and reciting Buddha in yoga. In the end, we ask for death by relying on this Buddha's name.
So when I often worship, I pray every day, because I also grow vegetables and work on growing vegetables. We have to reconcile our movement and quietness. We can do what we can do by ourselves. I will try my best to do it by myself. Don’t wait for others to wait. Bones are easy to rust, so I do everything. I also sweep the floor, worship Buddha, and sometimes cook a little to eat. One day I will be there. During the process of cleaning, picking and cooking, the mood is totally different. It's very quiet, because our place is also very quiet, and the environment is also a good one to help us, in such a state, very quiet, very quiet during the day, not to mention at night.
In that state of extreme silence in the outside world, coupled with the fact that I have always been in my heart, most of the time I used this Buddha's name. Suddenly a thought came to me. I saw a state of my own heart. This is called Guan, I feel that I am in my current state, I am not chanting Buddha!But I suddenly discovered that there is a Buddha in my heart. Everyone has to do it by yourself... That is to say, you can recite the Buddha through your own name. Only when you start reciting the Buddha with a name to a certain level, you can experience it.
Take this as an example. Today, it seems that women are very worried about their children. If there are children, right?It’s very important that you have a meeting with your boss today. You have to write a check for one or two million. You can’t make mistakes or make mistakes in this big thing, but you can see that the meeting time is up, and the time for picking up children is up, you still have no way to pick them up. , This matter hasn't been done yet, what should I do if I can't leave?At the moment, your mind has to be very focused on the content of your meeting, but have you forgotten your child in your heart?No, your child is your most important thing, and you will take it to heart every day, so although you are now focusing on the content of this meeting, you are also very clear on the one hand that your child has not escaped in your heart. right?
When I was sweeping the floor and cooking, I focused on doing things. Normally we practice this meditation, that is, we will merge. Sometimes the Buddha name runs away without thinking, but I will focus on the moment, every move I do. doing what?So I knew that I was not chanting Buddha at the time, but suddenly I felt the Buddha in my heart. It turned out that he never left!It's just that we usually have delusions. I haven't seen this state. How can I have this state?It’s because we still have to read the Buddha honestly through us. After reciting for a long time, the Buddha, this Buddha name and the image of the Buddha, in fact, is deeply imprinted in our hearts, unknowingly coming out for you to see To, let you catch.
Let me give you another simplest example. You often like to sing!right?In the past, most people like to sing, and then you sing a song you like very much. You would sing it several times, right?Like when we were young, we ran to sing karaoke. Don’t we know if there is any?I don’t know if it’s also called karaoke. After singing, I would hum that song on the way home. I liked the song I just sang. I kept humming and humming. We didn’t deliberately sing it. He just tuned it. It ran out. Actually, this is a kind of samādhi. I use this singing as a metaphor. Similarly, we reciting Buddhism like this. When you don’t read it, you read it very well. When you don’t read it, he will come out by himself. , This is Samadhi.

(XNUMX) Honestly reciting the Buddha in name can prove to be chanting the samādhi
It’s not difficult to obtain samādhi through empirical evidence. The only key point is to recite the Buddha faithfully. Honest people can benefit greatly. The smarter you are and the less honest you are, the less skillful you are. The way to learn Buddhism is to gain insight, and recite the Buddha. The samādhi is to be entered in this way. This is...this state I call it the meditation buddha, contemplation, I describe it in words, my state of mind and state at that time, in fact, this state is the "Da Shi Zhi Nian Bu Yuan Tong Zhang "All that is said in the book are to take six roots, quietly recite one after another, remember the Buddha and recite the Buddha, if you come now, you will definitely see the Buddha.I have seen the Buddha in my heart. I feel the Buddha is with me. What is the Buddha?It is intangible and intangible, so this is called meditation on the Buddha.
We dare not say that my realm is the realm of Da Shizhizhi Bodhisattva, no, because this state is like that, but his realm is deep and shallow, and there are many kinds of Buddha. There are many kinds of Buddha chanting. To recite the Buddha, to visualize and to miss the Buddha, to reciting the Buddha without form is to reciting the Buddha in reality. There are many kinds of visualization and observation. These various methods of reciting the Buddha are all mortal people can integrate, and the Buddha will speak. Don’t think so wonderfully. No, that. Impossible, it belongs to the Dharmakaya, and you can taste the taste as well.
It’s just that there may be different levels of our realm, so through us worshiping Buddha, honestly, because we are just prestigious, we are generally not honest enough, or that our dharma joy has not yet risen, not yet. Before receiving the blessing of Amitabha, the kind of chanting of Buddha has no intention, so if you can't read the taste, there is no way to enter that realm. Then you have to worship the Buddha to eliminate karma on the one hand, and on the other hand, this method can easily help us to settle down more easily. Afterwards, it’s right to recite the Buddha on the one hand and eliminate karma, so if we don’t have any kung fu, this kung fu is saying happiness.
For those who have not yet chanted the Dharma happiness, don’t just sit quietly, just recite the Buddha, and then recite all day long, and then the more you chant, the more the brows become tighter and tighter, and the practice of Kungfu is very hard. In fact, it’s not effective if you do this. Big, you can hold down the troubles. It’s not bad when you read it right now, because you are serious, but you have to... your whole six months and a year have passed, and you don’t seem to have made much progress. The so-called progress is the taste of Buddha chanting. Faxi, and then you like to read more and more. You miss it every day. If you don't read it, it won't work. Does anyone of you look like this now?Do you have?Raise your hand, let me take a look, alas!There is one, yes, this is Bao!do not mention it.
I like to recite the Buddha every day, even if you don’t even think about it deliberately, anyway, the Buddha will always be with us. We feel that this is a realm. When you get into it, you won’t lose it again. This is great. A realm is considered enlightened in the practice of Buddhism, and it is considered enlightened.What do you realize?Realizing the Buddha’s Dharmakaya at any time, Amitabha is the Dharmakaya Buddha. He represents our own nature. He is full of the ten directions at any time and anywhere. This is a fact that we know from the truth. I used to go to Lantau Island, Po Lam Temple in Hong Kong, I thought to myself why the master here is so lame, every attitude is very bad, you call him Master hello, he ignores you, sometimes at most I look at you Sometimes I don’t even look at you, and there is no reaction at all. The people who participate in Zen are what he is used to. The person who greets is the Zhike Master, each has a deacon, and someone will greet him, unlike our usual incense temple, or picking up outside. In the dojo that invites sentient beings, he greets you very well. There is no such thing. He will not be lazy from morning till night. He takes the initiative to do things on his own all day, so I just said that we should recite the Buddha. How to recite, in addition to reciting the Buddha and worshiping the Buddha, we have to...Why do we teach everyone yoga to worship the Buddha, because he is always the same. Regardless of whether your Buddha name runs away or not, you can focus on doing things right now. Even if you focus on doing things now and don’t continue to recite the Buddha, that Buddha name will come out just like I just said, or you will feel that the Buddha is there. In you and in your heart, you are aware of it right now, so this kind of hard work is uninterrupted for two to six hours. Of course, there is no way to fall asleep. I will often dream when I fall asleep. This skill is not good, and people are really big bodhisattvas. Even if we are reciting the Buddha even when we sleep, we still have delusions and chaotic dreams. At least during the day we can control ourselves, and we are very clear in our hearts, and we can control this mental state by ourselves.
We try our best not to stop during two or six o'clock, because if you have to do something, you can't do nothing. You have to cultivate both blessing and wisdom, and you have to reconcile the movement and the quiet, so we have to learn, except when doing meditation or doing homework. At other times, we also have to know how to recite the Buddha. Just like him, he doesn’t take a break all day. What does it mean?He recites the Buddha without interruption all day long, and he can recite the Buddha as he is on the move. Others call him as if he hadn’t heard it, so later those who lived there called him deaf. If he didn’t call him by his name, he just called him deaf, which has become his sign. , I can’t have the ability to achieve this level, of course you can’t do it at home!Because you have to integrate with the public, with the people in society, and everyone. If you say that you have a predestined relationship, you should let go of all predestined relationships. This is how you practice.

You have to actually see a variety of different realms before you can produce the realm of anti-governance. This kind of prajna wisdom, so you must go to the school, the old monk Xuyun loves him, saying that you can go out to study, he will not go, he said he should not go out, he is very grateful to the old monk Xuyun, so he said He doesn't want to go. He has to serve the monk for a lifetime. Many disciples really do like this.
Yan Hui and Yan Hui followed Confucius in the same way. Many classmates have already become officials and have made a fortune. He said that I don’t want to. These people saw that there seemed to be a fire on the mountain. He wanted to say hurry up and save the old monk Xuyun. If there is no dedication to one hundred, it will always be one hundred. If you give dedication to one hundred people, it will become ten thousand. It is constant. If you give dedication to ten thousand people, how much does it become? Go Counting, immeasurable, so we are dedicating to immeasurable sentient beings, and what we get is immeasurable and multiplied merits. This concept must be possessed.

This kind of return is not about how much you paid, but you will do your best to return, because you are grateful.

Live together in the bliss world, and all sentient beings are destined for it. This is also an advantage. We are used to reading and we are now very smooth, and when we see the Buddha come, I left without any doubts, because the death was so fast, we did not feel the death of breath at all, we can experience this situation in this example, there is really no death, and the person involved will not feel that I am dead. , And then reincarnate, the whole life has not been split like this.
