Today at noon, we chanted this Amitabha Sutra around the Buddha. The magnetic field is very good. I was just learning how to feel, and now I'm in a situation, I don't know if any fellow practitioners are like me.
I have been in the situation since early in the morning. I have been in this chest all day until just now. I can often feel stuffy in this chest. This stuffy stuff is not uncomfortable. It is filled with emotions and feels very warm. Of course, it is a little bit more now. So Dingli didn't shed a tear, and this emotion was coherent.
From the beginning of the morning incense and praise to the present, but I actually noticed in the morning, and some fellow practitioners have already felt that they have been touched in their hearts. I heard that there are still people crying, tears are a kind of appearance, but ordinary men, men. If you don’t flick when you have tears, it seems like it’s a shame to shed tears. This shows that this ego is too heavy, so we must put it down.
We all living beings have come to this world to suffer here. We should not deceive ourselves and others. We have to face this fact. If we face this fact, what good can we do?We can’t let go. Today we are able to pursue renunciation with our heart. It is wiser and brave than the world’s people. Many people, like the Confucianists, know that shame is almost courageous.
We know that we have to be ashamed and shame. This is already close to brave, brave people, but those who deceive themselves and are controlled by their self-esteem. These people are very pitiful. The more cowardly and incompetent, the more they pretend to be strong on the surface. , Deceive yourself and others, this way, once you encounter the cause and condition of ascending degree, you will often miss it, so we must let go of these ego and self-images so that you can feel the blessing of the Three Jewels.
Did our fellow initiates have a break at noon?Tired?Not tired!Wow!Why are you not tired?Because we have the power in our hearts and the joy of the Fa. This power can be so great that you can't imagine it. Today is just not going to bed at noon. Like my classmates, I have been around for more than two years, most of the time. In the laymen, they all hold lunch, and they don’t eat after lunch with me.
Everyone thinks that there are both men and women. Everyone thinks it’s too difficult not to eat for lunch!But for those of us, this is the simplest precept, and we take it naturally. If you don’t encounter this cause, and you don’t have the opportunity to practice the Dharma, ask you to hold the noon at home. , Is it possible for me to make my own mind to hold the afternoon?impossible!It’s impossible to eat one less afternoon tea, it’s impossible to have a midnight snack, and it’s just lunch, right?So is the power of the Three Jewels blessing great?
It's not just these, it can even bless you.Just like me, let me give my example, how much bless me?When we make a vow, not only will we show up and be willing to become a monk, and even be willing to be a monk and repay the grace of Buddha and sentient beings throughout our lives, you will have such a great aspiration to give up everything, give up completely, give up completely, give up and hold on. Among emptiness.
Every one of us has this power. Don’t underestimate yourself. We will have two hours to improve later. Let go of our self-esteem, my appearance, at least these two hours. Otherwise, I don’t know when this cause will happen in the future. This is your VIP, your VIP room. Wait a minute, in order to take care of you a little bit of face, we haven’t let go of your self-respect.
We turn off the lights when we pray, and we only leave the podium here, so that you will be less embarrassed when you cry, but remember!Don't cry too loudly, too ugly, what is ugly?Of course, true feelings are not unpleasant, but some people's voices are very sharp, and then they can't control their emotions. We must know how to control ourselves. This is also cultivation!

I knew at a glance that your level was there, and the progress was very fast, so the first time we met her, she was also very touched. She was also one of the soft-footed people, but she was also committed to being in the Buddha One. Protecting the law, but she won't control her emotions. In addition to being moved and crying, she also cried until she cried, cried, and fell down there.
I took a look at the lecture hall over there, it was strange!It’s because of a ghost. Someone fell down there. Later I realized that it was too touched, but you are too touched. You have to control your emotions because you are now responsible. You are working and serving the public, but I can understand her. Mood, especially when she is older, she has no culture, so self-control is more, not so, it seems that there are some people who are more rational and these people can control her, she is true feelings, but this part is also what we need to learn, such as precept, concentration, Hui!This must be improved.
We were in Singapore. We played Buddha One in Singapore two years ago. A total of XNUMX people participated. It was too crowded, exactly one hundred and eight. I used to receive bodhisattva ordination at 00:10:06 in Foguangshan, Taiwan (Zongshan) more than ten years ago. At that time, I happened to encounter three altars of ordination with monks, so there were more than XNUMX people in total. .In the evening, in a clearing, praying in the big square, we must have a wish when we take the ordination.
The tone I used today is also the tone of the ban. You need to eliminate the karma first. Think about it. There are more than a thousand people in the big square, and then the sky gradually darkens. There is already a little bit of confusion, and a little bit of light. Then when the audience prayed, the cry was almost there, it was a ghost crying, it was terrifying!It was too intense. The voices of more than a thousand people, because the sky was dark again, everyone was crying as much as possible. Anyway, you can't see me clearly, you can't see clearly, wow!Let's vent!
That kind of mood is really enjoyable, but the people next to me are sometimes scared. One hundred and eight of us are in Singapore. One of the mothers is crying very hard, but next to me, there is a mother with her daughter. The daughter was scared, hurry up, every time she has a little bit, why do you think she is crying like this?
Then, the mother quickly took her daughter to the last row, and then continued to lie there crying, and continue to worship, so sometimes the children don’t know, wow!It turns out that adults would cry like this.Okay, so this one needs to be controlled later, it's just right, you have to be in the middle of everything, so oh!Wait a minute if you don't cry seriously, you fail, and you cry for sixty minutes, oh!Cry well, not too loudly or too quietly, one hundred points.
it is good!We look at your inner state from the behavioral point of view. If you can’t cry, you have to find a way to cry, otherwise you don’t need to work, because we pray for vows to eliminate karma. It’s like shutting our face and shutting us away from the numb heart. It is resurrected, and now there are so many faces in the Palace of the Three Treasures. The Three Treasures have such a karma to bless us. Otherwise, if you see you go home and cry, you can cry, but can't you cry?Yes!You can cry when you are drunk.
Oh!Was it crying without knowing what I was crying?It doesn’t make sense. We wake up in the morning and don’t know what’s going on. But we are now clearly experiencing and eliminating karma, and in this process, we can feel the grace of the Three Jewels, and draw closer to Amitabha and ours. Distance, if you can’t cry, I now remind you of a way of visualization.
(XNUMX) The essence of sentient beings comes from greed
In fact, if you calm down, you will know. Think about it. What is our current situation?Don't think that your blessings are great. The blessings in the world are not worth mentioning. For us practitioners, that is rubbish, we don't need it, we have to let go, and we must be clear.
Although the more we practice, the greater the blessing, but the bodhisattvas do not enjoy the blessings, because it is very dangerous, you will fall for the blessing, and the habits are not good, so even if we practice for a long time and the blessings are getting bigger and bigger, we will not enjoy the blessings. , And then apply it to the suffering sentient beings, so the blessings in the world are not so great at all. What is the truth that we want to see?It's our sin, greed, hatred and ignorance!You really should know the shame, there is a hole to go through.
From where to look, from the moment we are born, we can see why we are human beings?Because at the moment when we were about to reincarnate, we saw men and women, and saw your parents in love and love. At the moment, our hearts are happy. The idea rises, and then we reincarnate and bond with them. It’s like this It's not the same if you come to be a man because of predestined conditions, unless of course you come again when you wish.
Most people behave like this, so the cause of our reincarnation is impure, understand?It is wealth, sex, fame, food, sleep, lust, lust, greedy for the beauty of your parents, greedy for all kinds of happiness, he will come to reincarnation in accordance with you, understand?This is how we came, so being a human is itself a shame. Of course, it is not all evil. There are also reasons for cultivating the Five Precepts in the past. This is also a good cause. Therefore, there are suffering and happiness in this world, because we have good causes and evil causes. , But the evil causes are more and the good causes are less.
So we have to recognize ourselves, don’t look in the mirror all day, it’s no use, how to look like that, don’t have to measure my status and status, how much money I save now, I have the unique status, that’s nothing great , You should still be ashamed, because you have not yet become holy.
(XNUMX) To understand Amitabha's mind and behavior and his own situation
What is more sad?What’s even more sad is that every one of us has Buddha nature. We are originally perfect. The Blessed One told us that we were originally Buddha nature. From the point of view of Buddha nature, we were originally Buddha, but we were lost. Up,
What is lost?It's like when we go out, the children go out and can't find the way home, where is our home?In bliss.
We really are Amitabha Buddha, our parents, then we have left home now, because of ignorance, we are like lost children, lost their way back home, our situation is like this, it is very pitiful, you think I want to see, if you have a child, now you go out, he can't find you, you can't find him, that kind of situation is pitiful, and there are so many bad people outside, just like our world, the temptation of five desires and six dusts. Many, it's dangerous all the time.
Our situation is like this, what else is so happy?We should raise this vigilance and worry at any time, and quickly resolve this matter of life and death, and go home quickly, why?Because of Amitabha, because of our parents, our true parents are waiting for us anxiously. Do you understand this feeling?
Look at Amitabha, his face is standing, and he takes the form. This is all manifested. It is the fact that the Blessed One has told us that our great compassion is so anxious to take us home anytime, anywhere, and other things. Buddhas are all sitting in a sitting position. This shows the way of the teacher. It only hears and learns but does not listen to the communication. The way of the teacher is the most noble. In the end of the world, the way of the teacher is gone. Everyone does not respect the teacher, and does not respect the master. It’s not as good as those who rush to repent. The standing statue of Amitabha is showing the Dharma. What is it showing?It expresses his anxious mood, and he is there at any time. He does not rest day and night, and he does not need to sleep. He does not rest day and night, and is always waiting. He ran away from home and lost children in that moment. Looking back, if you want to go home, He will pick you up right away. That thought, so in fact, we are now, if we are really willing to survive, we have already gone home now, but you still don’t know, this body It's still there, but our hearts have gone home, and we have already made contact with Amitabha.
If you don’t feel this way, it means that your heart to go home is not eager and not true. That is to say, we are talking about renunciation. We still think about the five desires and six things in this world, and there are more plans. You Think about it for yourself, right?A little bit left
If you take some time, you deduct going to work to make money and have fun, and there is a little time left to practice, then where are you desperate to get out of renunciation?No.
We who are minded are doing things all day long, but it does not hinder our obligations. It is this mind. It should be this way. Do we have it?No, so we are very pitiful. We are wandering outside, and many people don’t know that they want to be enlightened and don’t know that they want to go home.How pitiful?Poor?Very pitiful.
I can’t help crying when I think of sentient beings. When it comes to concentration and wisdom, my waiter loves to cry too, so she often cries with others. We all just talked about it at noon. Really, the situation of sentient beings is like this. I don’t know yet to be enlightened. This is the mood of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. We have to experience it with our heart. When you really feel it, you won’t be like this all day long, so-so.
Seeing our current situation, as stated in the Lotus Sutra, you are already on fire in the Three Realms Fire House. We are the children of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. What kind of mood do you feel about their hearts?This is the truth.
The Blessed One told us, and in our lives, you can also go to prove it, to experience and observe that this is a fact, don’t be busy making karma, busy making money, busy spending money, and busy all day long. Bullying others, busy making trouble for the enemy, settling accounts, does it make sense to live like this all day?It was a waste of life, and the opportunity we encountered in the Dharma was really like the one mentioned in the opening sutras. There are millions of catastrophes. Now that we encounter the cause of liberation, we have finally contacted our father, so we are so close and we are about to return. Home, and missed it face-to-face, how tragic it was.
Everyone imagine this picture. My parents, we ran away from home and couldn’t find the way home. My parents were very anxious. They kept looking for us outside, and finally found us. I saw it, I saw it, but no result. Ways to approach, miss again, pass by, immeasurable calamity is possible!So everyone must not miss this cause and go home as soon as possible.
(XNUMX) Worshiping Buddha is eliminating karma
After returning home, we can restore our original Buddha nature, infinite wisdom, and infinite magical powers. At that time, we will take the aspiration and then come to the ten ways to broaden all sentient beings. We have robbed too many parents, children, relatives and friends who need us. Hurry up and save him. They have been suffering. We have achieved liberation earlier and have the ability to help them earlier. Don't waste time anymore. We must recognize these situations clearly.
Then when we worship the Buddha, we will also pray for Amitabha's blessings, so that we will be truly moved in our hearts, so that our false minds, slack minds, and other karma will be cleared away. From today on, I want to be a human again. I To be a real person, a true Buddhist chanter, this character is more noble than ordinary people, and life is cleaner and more compassionate than ordinary people.
Each of us can do it, and everyone can be reborn, because the Buddha and Bodhisattva will give us strength. When our hearts are filled with this kind of emotion, your power, incredible power, will show up, and it will grow day by day.what!Let yourself be transformed, give your body and mind to the Three Jewels, and pray for the blessings of the Three Jewels, so that you can transform right now, and everyone can be reborn.

Yesterday we 002519 layman also reminded us that we can tell everyone that we repent Exposing is a good way to eliminate karma. After praying today, our state has been improved, we have entered into it, and after we are moved inside, we must keep on, and even continue to improve, we must often express repentance. , Because we will definitely recreate karma every day, and definitely will, because our habit is too heavy, but we are not afraid to create karma every day, in fact we create karma every day.
We are confessing every day, and through the kind of touch that we have already become, after our inner numb heart has been resurrected, its industrial obstacles will continue to disappear, so we also provide such a special area for everyone to express repentance, you If you do something wrong every day, just write this in your post. If you don’t know how to do it, you can ask fellow practitioners to help.
Then when I pray later, I will broadcast the CD, which I recorded again, because, because of the tune of this precept, oh!Generally speaking, the tune of their prayers is very solemn, but many of them are called the names of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, so I re-recorded and only recite the name of our Amitabha.
Wait a moment when we recite Nan Wuji Le loving father Amitabha, worship at the extreme time, get up at the time of the Buddha, then the last sentence of Wiener will look at the time. When it is four o'clock, this will be knocked out, and when in the south, it will be knocked out. We all know that when the chanting version is about to end, we will ask questions. When the last sentence is in the south, it will be exhausted. Ah, this place is no longer necessary. When it is a Buddha, it will be knocked out and then get up, and then Everyone asks questions, then I will take you to worship together, that is, only I hold the microphone, and then the public will praise as loudly as possible, the other Wieners don’t need to hold the microphone, so that it won’t be too noisy.
Fellow practitioners, every fellow practitioner should try his best to recite as much as possible. Gu Dade said, reciting to see the Big Buddha aloud, and to see the Little Buddha in a low voice. This is just a description. It describes that the more relaxed you are, the more you enjoy, and the more you feel. When you show it, your feeling will be stronger. Of course, when our realm is very high, then our mind is calm and calm, and there won’t be too much ups and downs. That is another level of realm. At the beginning, you should try to express your feelings as much as possible, so that it is easy to feel.

Why?It’s because our fellow practitioners here, especially our fellow practitioners going abroad to participate in group practice. This is very rare. It’s so difficult to ask for Fa practice in my own country, and I see that I still can’t find Fa with such a deliberate search for the Fa. The way to get started, so I was very reluctant. Studying the Fa was very hard. I also came through this way. The sufferings in the world are so deep in the world that I have a lot of experience to let go of the monk practice.
In the first twelve years, I couldn’t find a way out. I had a hard time in my cultivation, and I have always met Master Shandao. So I recalled the journey that I took my heart to practice, and I felt very distressed when I saw that you were the way I was before. Today's mood is particularly dark, and it is depressing all day long.
So today, you have eliminated a lot of karma, and I feel very cool in my body and mind. Further, I need to use your karma to temporarily eliminate it. At this time, when you lie down and eliminate it, hurry up and make a vow to be a new person, to be a higher person, and don’t do it. A confused person, as long as you make a vow, you must be able to do it. You have to seize the opportunity. Fortunately, today's prayer is only half an hour.
I remember when I wrote "Who knows the suffering of the world", the lyrics, that was my debut, I never wrote the lyrics, I am not a member of the entertainment industry, I don’t know how to write, then I was at the Singapore Jingzong Society because I graduated. After that, I went to Lantau Island in Hong Kong to get close to the elder monk of the Shangsheng. After receiving the ordination, he returned to the Singapore Pure Sect Society and devoted himself to serving for more than a year.
Over the past year, I did a lot of things to reward them for their cultivation. During that, the general affairs asked me to write Buddhist songs and gave me a piece of the music of "Who knows the suffering in the world". I said I never I have written it, or I would find another wizard to write it. The seniors are more skilled, and they can’t push it off for a long time. If I say yes, I’ll give it a try.
As a result, as soon as I listened to that music, less than five minutes, my chest suddenly became very stuffy, and an emotion came up, and then I wrote from beginning to end, it should be less than ten minutes, it was just that day, or did I hear it wrong? , I remember it was a very short time, because many of 010824 were written all at once. That emotion, which was just my inner feeling at the time, was written directly without modification, so I don’t have to think about how I would write it for a long time.
Just write this feeling, and check it after it’s finished, and see if it’s okay. With this specification of the lyrics, I cried more and more moved every time I checked it, and I didn’t believe it was written by me. And at the moment I am writing, what is an image in my mind?
Many sentient beings in this world are suffering. That scene appeared before my eyes. It was this emotion that made me write "Who knows suffering in the world". Only the Buddha knew it best. This suffering is so suffering that even the wisdom of the Bodhisattva There is no way to fully receive it, only the Buddha knows best, that the suffering of all sentient beings is suffering to such a suffering aspect.
The mood at the time was like this, so you can imagine how miserable I was crying!How miserable I cried after writing!Cried more than two
When I was young, I cried until I fell asleep, tired, and cried until I was very tired, and I was out of breath, my whole energy was exhausted, and I fell asleep.
Because I remember that I wrote it in the evening, and I kept crying after I finished it. I didn't stop for more than two hours. Waves of emotions kept coming up. I saw that it was the suffering of sentient beings, and I was also one of them.
Eyes the next morning, wow!It's so swollen that I don't know how, it's so swollen, it's so painful!Later, the eyes hurt.This afternoon we were chanting the Amitabha Sutras to the Buddha. The Bodhisattva behind us began to sing the wrong sound. The sound that started at that time might make everyone sleepy bugs away. But then, I immediately felt another way. I want to cry. Even praising the Buddha's verses can touch me, and you will also in the future. I have told you about it now, my personal experience.
This easy-to-moving mood means that our heart is soft, our heart is soft and easy, compassion arises, and it is often easy to move, even if it is just praise to the Buddha, I will feel it as I chant. , I can immediately feel that Amitabha Buddha is very compassionate and solemn. We have matured, so we will respond immediately when we encounter them. There is no need to persuade them. Of course, this is also the cause of life. Otherwise, why do we not have the same interest in working as if changing forty bosses a year in our entire life.
There is nothing in the world that is of interest. I often look at the white clouds in the sky and imagine that I am the white clouds in the sky. Then what happens is that I am different from the people in the world, pursue different things, and do not correspond to the things in the world. The cause and condition of the past life, so those of us who are able to respond to the Dharma and be able to study the Buddha, we are not ordinary people. We must be practitioners in our past lives, but we have not encountered good guidance thoughts, and we have not met Amitabha personally to guide us. There is no way to leave in the first life, and no matter how long the practice is, there is no way to achieve it. It is miserable!

This seed is very deep, but it still cannot solve the problem of life and death, so we can really surpass life and death for a lifetime. It is not unwilling to hold it but often opens up the predestined condition. It is difficult, but the monk rarely opens up the predestined condition. He did not sleep for ninety days. It’s hard to encounter such a strong virtue in modern times, so no matter whether you have received the precepts or not, you can seek to gain a sense of precept to gain a blessing of the precepts. Every time there is a blessing, so there is so-called Gaining precepts, increasing is increasing, benefiting is benefit, gaining precepts also means that you can increase your benefits, and you can continue to ask for and receive again.

The three conversions and five precepts of the Bodhisattva vows can be repeatedly asked and received, that is, every time there is blessing, then don't be afraid to say, oops!I ask for precepts and fear that you will go to hell if you break the precepts. I tell you that you don’t want to take precepts before you go to hell. If you ask for precepts, you will be cautious and you will learn the precepts. What to do if I commit a crime?Tell you that no one will not commitOnly the Buddha is the one who quits.
So if I break the precepts and go to hell, how could the Buddha bring me to hell?If we are to take precepts, of course there are ways to solve them, and we can repent. For example, the five precepts. Killing, stealing, licentious, and deluded are sexual virtues. Sexual precepts are unreasonable repentance in the Hinayana. If you commit a crime, you will go to hell. We are different from Mahayana. Mahayana has a solution and has a heart to commit sins!
Therefore, the preceding killing, stealing, adultery, and arrogance are sexual precepts, and the fifth precept is drinking precepts. The preceding killing, stealing, licentious, and arrogant precepts are different. You kill people and commit serious precepts, and you kill beasts and light precepts. As for those of us who ask for precepts, we can’t kill. You shouldn’t buy those living things. It’s okay if you can’t be a vegetarian. Buy three pure meats, so you won’t commit a crime.
If we really have to step on ants and cockroaches to death by accident, we will all. This is called a light precept. If you violate a light precept, you can repent. How can you repent?If you confess to a monk, now you have great rewards here. There is a master here who often teaches you. You can confess to him. If a monk is a monk, you just need to give a light precept to a monk.
You can also confess in the repentance area on the Internet, but if you commit murder, theft, lewdness, or rash precepts, you must confess to the monks. You have to confess in front of the four monks, confess your confession, say that I killed someone, and then, don’t forget it, it’s not that simple.
If you give it lightly, you can just say it, you can repent and change it next time.But if it is to rehabilitate and kill people, then after you have released it, you have to practice and repent and worship. Then we who recite the Buddha will worship Amitabha and repent!Praying for confession is confession, using confession to seek elimination of karma, and confessing this sin karma, how long will the confession last?It is said in the scriptures and commandments that you should see a good look on the first seven days or even three or seven days, that is, seeing the light and seeing the Buddha will give you a crown.
You feel that your body and mind have been purified, your sin is gone, you can ask for it again, this matter is solved, even murder can be solved, what are you afraid of?You don’t have to go to hell if you’re clean, but you don’t have the precepts, so you have to ask for acceptance again. This is the case.Then you say that my karma is so heavy, and I can’t see the Buddha even during the first, second, and third worship, and I can’t see good looks, what should I do?
Our Qing monk said that you will worship sincerely, and confess sincerely. You can pray again after one year of worship. This is what the monk said during the lecture. The truth is very deep. The monk said that we are just like that. do.So it can be solved. There is nothing that can't be solved. If you don't ask for precepts, you can go and break the precepts with peace of mind, right?
Correct!So, our beings are like this. There is no pressure on you, or if you have not made a vow, you must be in response to greed, anger, ignorance, and slackness. Unknowingly, it is creating karma, creating karma every day, even How do we hold this killing precept?We have to be compassionate to all people, and we can't even have evil thoughts. We will want to say, curse him to death, and forget it. It's really annoying!This is also a murder precept!Because our Mahayana is to condemn sins from our heart, we cannot.
So those of us who have taken the precepts, we must learn compassion, and when this mind comes up again, hurry up and repent. If you didn’t really kill it, it’s a light precept. Hurry up and tell a monk to confess your repentance. Ouch!I started thinking about evil again, thinking about killing.You said it seems difficult to do business without tax evasion, oh!It's so hard to hold!

I said it would be fine if you pay more!What does it matter if you pay more? If you have the ability to pay more, we will never commit the crime of stealing. We are a country that takes care of our people, and we give back if we can.As for those political parties, those politicians, it's his business that he wants to go to the gang, right?His cause and effect, let us be us, cultivate our good causes, and be not afraid!Anything can be solved.
You can quit killing, stealing, licentious, and deceitful. Especially if you are married, please quickly persuade the other half to have an affair. He will not dare to have an affair. Okay, you can’t make random friends outside after taking the precept. Only couples can. .Killing, stealing, licentiousness, and delusion are the most basic, and there is also the bodhisattva vows to ask and receive, because the bodhisattva vows teach us how to do good and the correct way to accumulate virtue. If you don't learn it, how can you?
You take the money and go out to do things and you also create karma. People who have no wisdom and no blessings, and those with heavy karma, are thankless for everything.
It doesn't necessarily have a good result.So to learn, then you say, good!To learn, I will learn slowly. If I learn well, I will take the precepts. Then you don’t have to take it anymore.And you can't learn well, you can't learn well.
Listening to so many magic weapons for yourself, listening to yourself is just a little concept, if you don't hold it well, try it if you don't believe it.The order must be the same, and the same goes for our monks. There are three hundred and forty-eight precepts. Is it possible to hold all the precepts immediately after shaved?It’s impossible!It's also to learn slowly and hold it slowly, right?It is such a process.
We first receive the precepts to gain the blessings of the precepts, and the monks who gain precepts give us the precepts to us. We have the strength in our precepts. We have the desire to receive precepts and the desire to learn precepts. After the feeling is gained, we begin to learn precepts every day. Learn one and do one, you can count as much as you learn, don’t have to stress, understand?Even if you can't do the five precepts completely now, it's very simple. You can receive one or two, or three or four. You don't have to receive all of them.
If you are afraid that you will often have to confess and have trouble, then you can accept it.. First accept it with certainty. Accepting one or two is called "Shaofenyouposai" and "Youpoyi". Receiving the five precepts is full score. Upasai, Upasai, Upasai is a male layperson, and Upasai is a female layperson. You can suffer this way. In fact, you should all receive it, because the five precepts are the foundation of life!

It depends on what kind of retreat you do?There are many kinds of retreats. There is a life-and-death pass. As soon as I enter it, I close it until I die. I originally wanted to close the life and death pass. My master didn’t agree. I used to have to retreat because I couldn’t commit suicide. It’s guilty to commit suicide. I leave early, the master is not allowed, he wants me to practice the bodhisattva way, so there is no way, so I have to show great heart.
In addition, there are short-term retreats and long-term retreats. The more formal one is that there will be a seal to seal you up, and there will be a person to protect you.
The gate is sealed, and if you break through the barrier, the barrier will fail. There is no place to come out and seal you inside, and then someone will give you food. It depends on what you practice, everyone can do it.
Some people want to read Tibetans, study the Tripitaka and Twelve Books, and read them twice. It's like some of us retreat for the purpose of chanting Buddhism!In the past, retreats were considered short-term retreats, so if you are a little more polite, we are talking about banning feet and not retreating. Later, people say you are so arrogant.
In fact, we are not arrogant, but strictly speaking, retreat is necessary. The standard of Zen Buddhism is that enlightened people are qualified to retreat.The first one is that when you are enlightened, you will have a way to subdue your troubles and shut down. Secondly, when you encounter a devil, you can bring up righteous thoughts to solve it. Secondly, you have the means to work on your own and you have the ability. .
Zen teaches that when you begin to cultivate after enlightenment, you already know how you can achieve it, because the method is only you, and there is no teacher to guide you, right?Therefore, it is necessary for people of this level to be eligible to retreat. Therefore, in general, those of us who are not enlightened are more polite to withhold foot, otherwise they will think they are enlightened.
Retreat is a very sacred thing. People with considerable realm are qualified to retreat. Then we reciting the Buddha are special. Anyone who recites the Buddha can retreat, because it depends on the power of the Buddha to recite the Buddha honestly. You can really live in peace and confinement. If you can stay there without breaking through the barrier, then you can recite the Buddha very peacefully, and you will not be enchanted when you recite the Buddha.
As long as you really want to read the Buddha honestly, you won’t be obsessed with the demon, because the demon comes, the Buddha will help you deal with it, the Buddha blessed the demon can’t get close to us, can’t play any role, when the demon comes, the Buddha will influence him, and he will help. If you deal with it, it's generally useless for you to rely on yourself. You can only rely on the protector god. The protector god is not strong enough, isn't it?There is no way to solve it. The grievances and creditors are very fierce. Don't let you go. You killed me in your last life and I want you to pay for it. There is no way in this situation.

What if the ghost is upper body?I have all encountered helping others to deal with it. I was scared to death. Fortunately, I was consummated. I asked our backstage boss Amitabha out. I was really crazy on the spot. I helped him deal with it. It returned to normal at the moment. This is in my CD. It was so thrilling that I was so scared to death.
He came to me to help and said that many of his relatives and creditors were on him, and then he said that he had searched many dojos and also found a monk.Ask the monk to chase him away, the monk said, okay, promise him the curse to chase him away, but the cursed bhikkhu fainted by himself.
I say!The monk fainted, I said that the monk fainted, you can't find me, then I didn't die more miserably!He was scared to death, because he looked terrifying. I took it and buried it, very compassionate, and my face was scared when I saw the reaction.
I saw his face like this, so I was even more afraid. I haven't dealt with it directly. We always have the first time, right?Of course I would be scared the first time, and the reason is clear, but it was different when I really put you on the battlefield. Fortunately, I was very calm that time because I didn't think I had any way to run.

He slowly calmed down. This person was going crazy. He said that a lot of relatives and creditors were on his body and were forcing him. Then he calmed down with the Buddha's name. Of course it was the power of Amitabha Buddha, because I was so scared to death. Later, I felt that after experiencing it once, I would be better able to deal with this kind of thing in the future, and the creditor might also pay for it or something. It is selfishness, because this method does not need to do this. Tell you that you do not need to do this. If you still do it, then you are not lazy and idle?is not it?
It’s very enjoyable and comfortable to recite Buddhism, so I just like to do it. Isn’t it selfish?Unless you don’t have a karma, there’s nothing to say. If you have a blessing, just go to the Buddha. I’m blessed now. I can do this, but I still didn’t do it, because really, your bodhichitta can’t be idle forever. Don't be afraid to retreat, unless you are sick, we are so sick that we can lie down and rest for a while.
Then you give it a try. It’s okay if you can’t count when you take a shower. Just calculate how many sentences you have in mind at this time. What's the benefit of this?There are so many benefits. The first is that you do less delusion and do a lot of karma; the second is that you can develop the habit of reciting the Buddha without interruption. This is something to practice!I want you to practice this martial arts. It's not about practicing your delusions and purifying your mind. Is there any less delusion, is your mind pure? No, it's practicing this habit of chanting Buddha. You have to cultivate it. Do you understand that?
When you have a counter on your hand anytime, anywhere, you will think of chanting Buddha at any time, then it won't take long for you to get used to chanting Buddha, and you will be able to practice this skill.There are so many benefits to be used to reciting the Buddha. I remember and recite the Buddha anytime and anywhere, and I must see the Buddha when I am now. This is not a convenient way of my own mentality. Sometimes I accidentally become enlightened. If you don’t want to be enlightened, you just want to die, but you don’t. Careful and enlightened again.
These benefits, you can't imagine, will suddenly appear, but what are we going to do?It's just looking for a free time to recite Buddha! It's so simple, can you do it?Can it be done?Can do it, good!I can’t do it too ridiculously. It’s nothing to do today. Or you can use the count of eight hundred spirits. Turn around and say ten sentences. Don’t keep turning around. Say ten sentences and then turn around. When we walked, because we now read a few sentences from the fourth floor to the first floor, but it’s more convenient to use a counter and it won’t make a mistake. Then report the total number every Saturday afternoon. If you are not sure about your number, just say how many sentences, so you can. Report your name and the number to the practitioners to help you with dedication. This week is two hundred and eight. More than XNUMX sentences, these classmates around me, I also stipulate that they should not exceed the number. Otherwise, if they work so hard, they will not only read the number. We will not ask you to say that I must read as many as I used to do. This kind of practice is different.
Our pure Pure Land Method is not practiced in this way. You spend all your time reciting the Buddha, so how do you practice the Bodhisattva Way?How do you repair fortune?The Blessed One tells us to practice both blessing and wisdom, Mahayana, the Pure Land Method is Mahayana, it’s not self-conscious, your mind is wrong, no matter how many Buddhas you recite, it’s useless, and it’s useless to shout to break your throat.
So in fact, there is no need to retreat, no need to retreat, what is true diligence?If you have time to live, sit, and sleep, recite the Buddha, and then have the opportunity to serve sentient beings and cultivate blessings, do your best, and don’t force yourself. You are now protecting the Three Jewels and you are helping sentient beings. You can do as much as you feel in your current realm. Don’t force yourself. .
You can do as much as you have, and you don’t need to borrow money from a layman to repair happiness like I used to, because the money is all in the care of my aunt, and I don’t have any money left on me. If you see what you have to do, do it first, and then talk about it first. There are also some on credit. I said after printing the scriptures that I have no money now, it’s okay. Everyone is familiar with it. Then I will take the money from my aunt because the money is sent to her.
Overdraft, that’s an overdraft. How much money we budget to spend every month, and then overdraft, we often encounter some situations and do it with heart, and it doesn’t matter if you like to do it. It’s within your abilities and in your hair. At the level of the heart, you do it, do it with all your heart, and don't just want to close the door.
Think about it, is that selfishness?Is it selfish?That doesn’t correspond to the Buddha’s mind. In other words, you don’t really believe in wishing to survive, or that you don’t really understand the practice of our method. Only then will you work hard and work harder over there. If you recite the Buddha's name, that’s a mistake. It’s not done like this. Don’t say that it’s best for me to recite XNUMX sentences a day. We’ve come across this a lot.

Eat, don’t need money, don’t work, listen to the scriptures and chanting all day long, this woman in the world looks down and down, how pitiful, she thought she was right to practice like this, but she was wrong, like her, and Her intention was that her concept of living in the dojo was wrong, so the orthodox dojo would not take her in. She went to the dojo to provide for the elderly.
The dojo is for all of us to practice diligently, to change our bad habits of work and rest, to improve our dao karma, and to work harder for permanent residence and for sentient beings. It is not a place for you to go to provide for the elderly, so why would it be? such?I made a mistake. I have been in Buddhism for XNUMX or XNUMX years. The women are not married and have never had a boyfriend in their fifties.
She came into contact with Fo Guang Shan when she was a teenager, went there to be a volunteer, and then left. For many years, more than XNUMX to XNUMX years. It is a very long time. You have spent most of your life in Buddhism. In the XNUMXs, he couldn't even take care of himself in his own life. He had to rely on relatives, and then went to the dojo to have a meal. Then she said, I said, how do you live like this? How do you live normally?
She said that it's not easy, I just live there, and then go to the dojo to eat without money. What does she think she is?An Xiang Le Dao, she thought she was An Xiang Le Dao, she was wrong, this is not called An Xiang Le Dao, what is An Xiang Le Dao?It’s because your own needs are small, and less and less, like I used to eat three meals, and then eat two meals, and then put everything down, and then more and more blessings do?
It’s for the sake of all beings, and it’s benefiting all living beings. One’s inner needs are becoming less and less. This is called Anping Ledao. It’s not that you don’t have money in your pockets. It’s not like that. It’s not that you don’t want to make money. There is no way to help sentient beings, and money is easy to use. If you don’t have money, you can’t help sentient beings. So the Buddha told us to cultivate both blessings and wisdom. If you don’t have blessings, you can’t live on yourself and ask others to help you. How can you benefit? Sentient beings?
She will not be enlightened or understand the Scriptures and the Dharma, nor can she recite meditation when she recites the Buddha. Her whole person is very restless and restless, and her karma is very heavy. She truly knows how to practice in Buddhism, and it won’t take three years to be reborn. Let’s see. In many cases, she has been ill for two to thirty years, and she hasn't repaired at all. She went to the mainland to study Chinese medicine, as if she knew better how to regulate the body.
A person who really knows how to practice is just a Buddha name. What is Amitabha?Great doctor king, you still go to the mainland to learn Chinese medicine. You don't want to meet the Mongolian doctor just Amitabha, right?I learned it again and became more sick, because she studied hard there, didn't she?That's putting the cart before the horse, messing around.It was not true at all. She was born in Buddhism and didn't really go the right way. See, her merit was too bad and she didn't encounter good good knowledge.
She wants to follow me and I can’t accept her because she doesn’t have the conditions to live in our dojo. My requirements are very high. My requirements are very high. It’s not my personal standard, because my blessings are too great. Yes, our good fortune is very big. We grow organic vegetables here, and drink spring water without money, although the house we live in is relatively old.
You take care of the layman and we will get together and go back. We don’t know when we meet again next time. It’s good to do my responsibilities right now, right?The monks shave differently, it is a lifetime responsibility to follow us, wow!I didn't have any intentions on this. This was forced to me by the Qing monk last year. I said, okay, okay!Try.
Then the heart will come, because there were people who asked for shavedness before and I didn’t agree, so I just said that, and I just talked about the layman. The most important thing about her is that she knows that she sees wrong, she has no Taoism, no Daoxin, plus you really didn't have that blessing, so I didn't promise her, I would help her introduce other places and give her a way, because everyone wants to be different.
There is a bhikshuni in Taiwan who has cancer. She made a vow and she raised funds and built a Mi Tuo village. She wanted to accommodate five hundred monks and family members to go there to recite the Buddha until they died. Her wish is like this, then I Say you go there to check it out, if it's other dojos, I don't know, this monk made this big wish, it should be good, you can go check it out and introduce her to it.
Therefore, we cannot practice without blessings. We must be very careful when we have blessings. Don’t be arrogant, don’t slack, and don’t enjoy the blessings. Life is getting easier and easier. Therefore, for those of us who are blessed here, I suggest that you take your time and eat no food. Eat one less meal, good
It's hard!The big fish and meat every day, the mountains and the delicacy, told me to practice the precepts, it was too difficult.
You see, being blessed is not that you can't afford it without money. Why do you have to live so hard?To tell you, there are too many benefits of not eating after lunch. Not only does it save afternoon tea and supper and a dinner, it saves a lot of money, but the most important thing is to make you healthier, make you healthier, and give you more time to work hard. Make your mind more pure, and make your world's various desires, wealth, color, food, food, sleep, and sleep less. Obviously, this precept is not difficult to hold.
Most of the fellow practitioners around me don’t eat after lunch. As for the layman, we would say that we don’t eat lunch after studying, which means that you don’t have to be so dead or you can’t do it, it’s inconvenient. It doesn’t matter if I finish eating, it doesn’t matter if I finish eating later, it doesn’t have to be before midday, because you can’t do it, you can’t do this precept and you can’t do it, so we just learn to do not eat after lunch, we Don't eat again if you are full at noon.
These classmates around them said that they would stick to it, and none of them found it difficult. The method is covered in the "Buddha Disciple Guidance" that I got downstairs. There are methods, what should I do if I am hungry?Irrigation, irrigation can also detoxify, the cooing just let him scream, and then the stomach is full, um... ok, it's solved.Then, don’t get close to those delicious things. You can make trouble for yourself, where there is no reason for not drooling. Then it’s about arranging homework so that your mind is on the Dhamma.
You don’t even want to eat. You will notice that your stomach growls. You will growl in the first few days, and then you will stop crying. If you ignore him, he will get used to it if you don’t cry. When you are used to it, the most important thing is that you have to arrange your homework. You have the confidence that you will never think about it.
(XNUMX) Methods and benefits of not eating after lunch
Practicing asceticism, but the quality of our body and mind is the best. We are clean without pesticides and grow our own fruit trees. Then the environment is very peaceful. The sound of jungle birds calls, and there is no activity at all. Only I go out to preach the Dharma without activity and pure practice. Where do you find this kind of place?Can't find it, it's difficult.
And I think about Lantau Island is also pure practice. Our Master, the Holy One Master, he made a vow, but there is ascetic practice, because the Buddha told us to learn from suffering. If you really want to practice, you have time to enjoy, live so well, and eat. So good, I will eat itTake good care of it, because you have to eat healthy and clean. This is something you need to pay attention to, otherwise you will get sick and detoxify all day long, right?
Apart from that, there is no need, other simple things are fine. This kind of environment for practicing is the most extraordinary for us. It’s like this in our place, so it’s not ordinary people who can live there, but it’s really very difficult. With Dao-mindedness, I originally only budgeted me and didn't accept apprentices.
Now the waiter in front is going to be a monk with me. I’m still testing her. I didn’t accept it. Monk Guoqing forced me to become a monk for a long time. I have long been qualified to become a monk. Jie La is qualified to accept a disciple, but I don’t have any. I made a vow, I was scared to death, now the abbot is so scared, scared to death, how comfortable I am, I have someone to entertain me wherever I go, why do I have to take people, I just like it, just like a child, I have to pay a lifetime responsibility Ah, this is not a joke.
Unlike many people now accepting a lot of money, I will rush to receive money. I don’t teach you. We know the cause and effect, so I dare not accept it.So it turns out that our dojo is not big. There are two plots of land, one is on the mountain and the other is under the mountain. They are very cheap. The land in Taitung is very cheap. It’s just a place to stay. I don’t want this. At first, I didn’t even want the dojo, but my students asked me to accept it.
You see, I don’t expose my account, I don’t accept offerings casually. I want to make sure that you are truly respectful to the Three Jewels. If you want to repair the cause, then I have to repair the cause for you, because the Buddha wants us to give to all beings. Planting Futian, so at that time, I budgeted this dojo for Lao Jie Master. Lao Jie Master has been in Buddhism for so many years to contribute to his permanent residence, right?In one or two decades, I have cultivated a lot of blessings. Although I didn’t do it here, it’s okay. The monks are all a family, so I can protect them. Our budget was originally for this purpose.

This kind of use is probably because our Qing monk wants my heart to expand, and you have to work hard to lead the crowd. There is also a dojo. There is the Dharma and there is no shortage of Taoist food. Then you don’t want to cultivate the next generation of monks, how can you be a monk, because I take care of the lay priest but not the monk, but I think, alas!too tired.
(XNUMX) If there is a will and aspiration, the cause and fate will be sufficient

Master: Starting from the six days of fasting, it’s okay, but in fact, as far as I feel about the six days of fasting, it’s better for you to hold the day of six fasts than having no food every day. It’s easier to maintain. You will often forget about the Six Zhai, and it’s not good for your stomach and intestines if you don’t eat one day, understand?
Don’t think it’s so difficult. Just listen to the CD I talked about. It’s just a thought. Your body will listen to you. We eat. It’s a physical need. We have enough meals and nourishment. It’s the tongue, it’s the mouth that wants to eat, we don’t want to be controlled by it, we should be its master, don’t be controlled by desire, then we have too much dignity, right?
Cai Se, famous food, sleep, and control us, we don’t live like human beings, we have created a lot of karma, we come to dominate it, I said I can do it if I can do it, really every thought and heart, and then you learn a little bit Method, learning method is to make it easier for you to do this, even if you have not learned the method, you can do it.
Some people say that I quit smoking. One of my classmates has been smoking for more than XNUMX years. If he has been smoking for more than XNUMX years, he will quit, and he will quit if he says quit for more than XNUMX years. He doesn’t necessarily say, alas. !What other methods are needed, the most important thing is this wish, but because we all have experience, we will also tell you some methods to make it easier for you to do it, and to do it more easily. You don’t need to drag things like this. Slowly, six days, Ten days.

So we have to take advantage of this cause. Today, we are all sincere and diligent and dedicated to the old man. I hope that he can increase the lotus product and come back to spread all sentient beings as soon as possible. Elder Huitian is very compassionate. , I heard he cameI have gotten fate and beat the Seventh Buddha here, and I have beaten the Seventh Buddha with him before, which is very outstanding.
My relationship with him is also very good. He is also my teacher. Although it is not very long and I am not relying on him, I have participated in his Seventh Buddha and he encouraged me very much. I remember asking him afterwards. The problem is still something.
He personally replied to me with a letter, and wrote me a letter with encouragement, and then a reply, etc..., so this is also a great kindness, his compassion, he tells us his life Is the vow to bring one hundred and eight Buddha Seven, I don’t know if the vow has been fulfilled?I don't know, so I hope that he can come back as soon as possible and complete the countless one hundred and eight seven Buddhas.
Then we are here too, everyone stand up first, let us pray to him three times together in front of the Buddha, to show our sincere heart of dedication, that one will be exhausted, and that will be exhausted to me.
This is impermanence, and it is also permanence. It allows us to see the truth in the world. Birth, old age, sickness and death happen all around us at any time.We really have to see it clearly, and then actively face it and treat it. The next moment may be us, everyone is the same, there are no exceptions, so we have to take our birth, aging, sickness and death very seriously, and don’t wait until it’s too late. At that time, it was really pitiful.
There is another one. A few days ago, I went to the Shishan Buddhist Society to have a two-day dharma relationship. On that day, the chairman told me that his elder village chief’s wife was critically ill with cancer, then we Just on the way, the president asked me if I wanted to take a look.
I didn’t go there at that time because they asked me if I had helped me in the reading. I said I didn’t help others in the reading. I taught them how to do the reading. He meant that he wanted me to go, but I didn’t agree. Then I depend on fate. I will go for special fate, but usually, I didn’t do this kind of work. That day, I was also suffering from heatstroke and felt uncomfortable. When I went back to scrape, my whole body was red, and the fate was not sufficient. , But I told them what to do, how to talk to her, and how to persuade her.
And in fact, the wife of this village chief, afterwards, I also knew that several wizards had already visited her, because she had not just been critically ill, and had been lying down for a while, so I felt that my visit also seemed to be icing on the cake. I don’t have to go, so Karma is like this.Then when I return to the dojo that day, I will adjust my body, scrape and prepare for the evening class.After speaking for two consecutive days, the next day he said that the village chief’s wife had passed away. This is a good thing. She dragged on for a long time. They were joking that she would not die until the master came.
Just like I mentioned yesterday that one of our fellow practitioners in Malaysia has been lying down for sixteen years, and after sixteen years of lying down, he is very bitter. If you go to lie down and see, you will have a sore back after two days of lying down. .Later, when I went back, I told the method. The mother who learned, he is also very filial. He is learning to be a volunteer, telling him how to deal with it, persuading your mother, and then what happens, I didn’t go to see her, because It is not convenient for me, and her relatives and friends did not study Buddhism.
Usually I rarely go out. Everyone has everybody’s responsibility. For students like us, I take them out to help others. I teach them how to do it. Later, the person who is obedient to do the same, and leaves soon. Now, I have been lying down for sixteen years, and I really have to wait for me to go. These are fate.Buddhism is about predestined relations, deep predestined predestined predestined relations, shallow predestined predestined relations, and predestined birth and death.
Then someone came to me today and asked me to help her destiny. This cause is also very good for us. We borrowed from this Buddha One. We have so many fellow practitioners. We are very sincere, and many people have developed bodhicitta and established rebirth. Confidence, such a merit of the Buddha, let us repay her.

Fellow practitioners: Go straight back?Master: Yes, go straight back. If we take three refuges, we will arrange another time. Like me on the Internet, students and friends all ask to take refuge in the Buddha and ask them to take refuge on their own.
We have a self-conversion text. If you take refuge, you can pray for yourself before the Buddha. This doesn’t matter. The most important thing is your heart. You have to really rely on the Three Jewels. Refuge means rely on. This ritual is okay. Fellow practitioners: Then we can recite directly. .
Master: It's okay. You can bring it. You want the fast version. The fast version is OK. This is what we do every evening class.
