For our "faith and willingness" and "action", although there is no requirement, you don't have to recite the Buddha to what extent you want to die. You can have tens of thousands of sentences... No, it doesn't matter if you don't know how to recite, but you If you really didn’t read it, then you’re abnormal. Do you understand this? The conditions for becoming a Buddha do not stipulate that you have to recite the Buddha's name. The karma of sentient beings is terrible. The "Blessed Life Sutra" says: "Buddha power is incredible, and the good roots of sentient beings are incredible." So I said that you are all likely to get away from suffering and have happiness at the moment, and it is possible to build confidence in rebirth at the moment. Because the roots of goodness are incredible! We may have offered to immeasurable Buddhas in the past and have immeasurable and deep roots of goodness. Therefore, the scripture says: "The good roots of all beings are incredible." There is also a sentence: "The karma of all beings is incredible." How powerful is this karma? Strong? It's as strong as Buddha, it's terrible.Therefore, the Buddha made XNUMX wishes to save us. He has completed his merits. Of course, he has the ability. Then why can't some sentient beings be saved?

It’s because the karma of sentient beings is incredible. If you speak of willingness, that wish is false. As long as you are willing to go, Buddha Amitabha must be able to take you to Buddhahood. There is also one reason why you can’t go. You are not willing to go. To go, it is actually fake.Therefore, we will study carefully. Among the two conditions of letter and wish, for us ordinary people, this wish is even more difficult, so we have to focus on this place. Everyone will take a good look at it, because I don’t know you. Let’s just ask about the scene. Those of our fellow practitioners who have really made a vow, please raise their hands... so many! There are more women, hey... the men are more leaky, so what are you doing? Come to worship Guanyin Yes, it’s not bad to blow on the air-conditioning... the solemn dojo.

But some people are embarrassed to say that it is more difficult for men to save, why...face, "Oh, I am a big man, want me to rely on the Buddha?", right? It's even harder!But there is a saying: "Big man can bend and stretch"... rely on it, what's so great, what can't be done? Because the Buddha is more perfect than us, we should rely on him, don’t feel embarrassed, men are like that. "Usually I am taking care of my family. I am the biggest at home. Now I want to rely on the Buddha. It's really leaky!" This is an obstacle, but if you don’t rely on the Buddha, you can’t be saved, because you have to sense... Relying on induction, not our chanting skills, or any precepts, He does not require you to maintain precepts, meditation, or your Prajna wisdom, He does not require any.

It depends on induction. Amitabha can only come when he hears that you really want to go, right? Without induction with him, how did he come? He can't kidnap you.Therefore, we must be truly willing to rely on the Buddha in our hearts, and ask Amitabha Buddha to save us and lead us to the world of bliss. Then we can be free from the pain of life and life forever. This is not a trivial matter. So don’t be polite, you’re welcome, you’re polite. You have no chance.You see that we still have young people. The young people have already made a wish... Stand up and show us the old Bodhisattvas (Applause encouragement)... Young people... Find a way to shave his hair, just shave him earlier. Can't run away, otherwise he will meet a beautiful girl another day, wow! It is useless, there is no way to die, no way to escape from all kinds of suffering, so we must be able to bend and stretch, and be wise.

I have tried several times before when I was not really committed, and I wanted to continue without food for lunch, but my mental strength was not very strong, so I wanted to try it. If it hurts, then hurry up and eat something.That kind of heart, because the stomach will be bloated. Suddenly, I have too much stomach acid if I don’t eat it. When it hurts a little bit, I quickly eat oatmeal, which will fail several times.

This time I made up my mind that I must hold on to it. If it hurts, I will take stomach medicine. Even if it doesn’t work or if I eat it to death, I must hold it well! Poor, the poorer you are, the more sinful you are, the more people who are going to go to hell, of course, the more anxious he will be to save you first, he will not abandon you, you can easily believe and understand from the standpoint of a Buddha .

It’s like we have children, a child is sick, and you have five children. One of them is sick. Although he is very bad, will you take care of him first? Yes! From the Buddha’s point of view, we don’t think this is weird. Otherwise, say: "Strange? People who are as bad as the five evils and ten evils can also be reborn?" It is hard to believe! But you have to understand this from Amitabha's heart and his standpoint. It is not difficult for you to believe it, you absolutely believe it.My karma is so heavy, I can still die. I am not as bad as killing my father or mother. They can all die. Why can't I die?

I have been lingering on the memories of this world, but I haven't let go of it! That obsession, the older I get, the heavier the obsession, and the more I can’t let it go. , The young man is full of curiosity and longing for this world.

The so-called letting go does not mean that you are told to ignore everything right away, you don't care about anything right away, and you cannot die right away. This is not the case, because we need to know that impermanence will come at any time, so we have to persuade everyone to immediately and as soon as possible to confirm that we are true. Those who are sure and qualified, can die anytime when impermanence comes.So let's first truly establish this true faith and desire. It does not affect your current ideals. What you are going to do does not affect, understand? Oh, it shouldn't be hesitating, oh, you absolutely can, do you have confidence in yourself? I must go! I believe my wish is true.

When you really want to really start, in fact, these things you are doing right now can be done better? Why? You didn’t do it with the heart of greed in this world, you are anyway I have nothing to ask for, so I It doesn’t matter if you do well or not, all failures don’t matter. I’ll do my best. If you don’t have any pressure, you will do better. Understand? So you must first make sure you really believe in your wishes. Wait a minute, everyone will go back, the Fa conference is gone, there is no such thing as the Fa conference: "Yeah? Is there a Fa conference today?" It seems that there is a Fa conference, right? It's all an illusion, he This illusion does not mean that there is nothing at all. It has indeed existed, but because of its nature and emptiness, it does not exist forever. It is the reconciliation of cause and condition, the state of change between the birth and the death of cause and condition. This is the truth, the reality. It makes sense.

What is the reality? There are these phenomena, but because it will disappear, it is called an illusion.Since it is such a phenomenon, it is the same with people, relatives, relatives and friends, all people, all relationships, and all phenomena. They are all temporarily aggregated by a cause and condition, and when the condition is scattered, there will be no more.So there is, it is there when it gathers, but because it will disperse, it is an illusion, and it is gone. Since there is nothing, do you want to stick to it? No, it is not. It is an illusion. , It’s like doing magic, don’t need to be attached! You understand that you naturally won’t be attached.

But although it is not clinging, it is so clear when fate gathers. Doesn't it have a father, a mother, a lover, and a job, right? Very clear.At this time, do we want to face this phenomenon? Yes! There are karma, so we say: "Karma is also suffering." We originally wrote it as karma, why? Because these results are all suffering. , The essence is suffering, this part does exist, so we can’t create bad karma, there is cause and effect.

Although it is an illusion, when the fate is extinct, when it is extinct, it is an illusion. Some people say, "Oh, since it is an illusion, it doesn't matter if I try to make evil anyway." It's also in the middle"! When it got together, was there a phenomenon? Yes, we have a phenomenon now. We are having a lecture right now, right? If you meet an unjust creditor, he will ask you for it. Life, debt collection, that feeling is very real, right? You can’t say, "Oh, you are the four great harmony, I am not afraid of you." Bring the knife over... Oh it hurts! Right? That feeling. It's very real, so we have to "succumb to all illusions."

In this illusion, we know in our hearts that it is fake, and one day it will disappear. Don’t follow it in our hearts. But when we are together, we have to face it, because it has cause and effect, you If you are good to others, they will treat you well. If you are not good to others, they will treat you badly. This is the retribution of karma, and the Buddha cannot escape. Everyone cannot escape the three generations of cause and effect. This is the law of nature. There is no one person. There is no one created by God, and there is no ruler. It is a state of causation formed naturally, and you will get any result from whatever cause you plant.

The Buddha became a Buddha because he saw this phenomenon, he was enlightened, he saw this natural phenomenon in the universe thoroughly, and then he told us that the karma of the phenomenon in the universe was not created by the Buddha, but he saw it. , And then He taught us this phenomenon, so he taught us to believe in cause and effect, and to cultivate good causes to get good results, but among these causal phenomena, its nature is empty and empty, and it will dissipate, so don’t cling to it. , Do you understand this? Understand? I hear it, why is it so powerful? This is emptiness. If you really understand it, you are an Arahant.You saint!

But it is also possible that you can understand it. It’s just that enlightenment is different from enlightenment. You understand: "Well, it seems to understand, um..." Because in the past life I used to listen and seem to understand, but enlightenment is what you want. It is not that simple to prove to a realm of emptiness, that is another great distance.Like a primary school student, it seems to understand the truth, but you can’t do it if you teach you to study and conduct experiments. Without that effort, if you know that everything is empty, then I will give you a look to see if you are empty, horrible, and then give it to you. You fight back, right? You will be angry, you will be upset, then you are not free, do you have my face, "I" was beaten, my face is still there.

Buddha Shakyamuni mentioned in the "Diamond Sutra" that when he endured humiliation to the immortals, King Goli cut off his body, cut him off with his hands, cut him off with his feet, and cut his body piece by piece. It hurts. He really lives in emptiness. Without me, I won’t feel pain. If I don’t feel pain, he won’t be angry, right? If he doesn’t feel angry, of course...not only nothing There is no "personal aspect" for "I-phase", there is no other party, no one who killed him...because the other party is also a combination of the four majors, false appearances.

So he really has the realm of enlightenment and emptiness. He has this skill. How can we not, so you just said that you understand... well... yes... understanding has good roots, maybe a little bit of theoretical understanding, that's also very good It’s not easy. Some people have listened to it for decades. The more they listen, the more they become empty, and the more they listen, the more demented they become. Then some people misunderstand it and make it even more miserable. There is no cause and effect. Now, let’s go... I used to have the five precepts, but then I started drinking again. It doesn’t matter why I didn’t eat meat for a long time, so I started to eat all the time. I found the reason. It seems that I have entered the emptiness. Anyway, the precepts are too. It's empty, it's miserable! That's miserable, that's a misunderstanding.

So it’s so simple to realize emptiness, but do you want to practice? To practice, why? There are too many benefits, "seeking from above and from below to manifesting supernatural powers"! Before we were born, we were just like Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, It can change supernatural powers, and I am happy every day, as if playing games, supernatural powers of games.The old monk Xuyun was deeply meditated. At that time, some government officials went to that monastery to search, beat him... beat him. , Many people escaped, he did not escape.

He doesn't even enter Ding. Pain: "You beat you, I sleep with mine." He enters Dhyana to do his things, as if he is going to Dusitian or somewhere... to listen to the scriptures, so comfortable, right? Well, every one of us can have this skill Ah, that's not difficult. Of course, he is practicing asceticism, so when we recite the Buddha, we have a lot of feelings when we recite the Buddha.

Then you really have a realization of emptiness, or that you understand the truth of this truth, plus you recite the Buddha to a certain level, you also know that you have concentration and meditation skills, you don’t ask you not to Please, it doesn't take much effort once you die, but you like to read it for a long time.Master Shandao was in Chang'an City at that time. If you recite every day, you will realize the chanting of the three Buddhas without knowing it. When you realize the chanting of the three Buddhas, the kind of happiness in your heart will make you feel like you. Not a person in this world, you are just "following the fate": "If you want to play, I will play with you, oh the creditor...play with you, you want me to marry you, so I will marry you."

But you really don’t want to do this. It’s really no way. You’re in the industry and can’t escape. If you marry someone, you have to take good care of them, right? When you’re married, you have to follow them. , To ensure that the family is consummated, unless he wants to let you go, then you just say "Thank you for the three prayers", hurry up, and don’t be polite. Let’s say okay, so that his divorce will make you go to practice. This kind of person is really What do you regard as your great benefactor? We are not trying to persuade you to quarrel and divorce. It is best for everyone to practice spiritually. But if there is any child, it is better to be a child, and the child also becomes a monk together, even better! Be a novice monk.

Then you don’t have to worry: "Oh, what if people all over the world have become a monk? No one goes to give birth!" Telling you, it’s impossible, not so many people are qualified to become Buddhas! Don’t be inside." Let’s play! We’re going to be burned to death soon!” Then we ignore him, don’t believe it, so what is the three-way...three-way method taught by Buddha Shakyamuni? It’s a bullock cart, a sheep cart, and a big white bull cart. You tricked it out, "You can win with this toy outside, come quickly." It means to trick you out. These toys are more fun outside, and you teach a lot of methods...Forty-nine years, you still use bullock carts, The sheep cart is a metaphor for the Great and Small Vehicles of Buddhism. It wants to stop us from this Three Realm Fire House. This is how we are now. You can't feel it, so you still have a lot of fun.Now the Blessed One is telling us that we will tell everyone through the mage that we are in this situation now. Go back and put a fire on it: "Hey, it hurts!" You go and feel it, just gently, not really Burns, our current situation is like this, well... I often think of ways to make myself aware of this.

Then another one is to help us see through the world, we can put it down, see through? Have you seen through? Yes? Now ask again: "Do you want to become a monk right away? Huh? Do you want?" Still huh? Still What is there? "What are you thinking about? Have you promised to marry someone? No!" Then all other things are trivial, because you are so pitiful!I think it’s as if I’m forcing people to: "You, you... don’t hurry up and give me Buddhahood, you’ll be miserable!" I have been forcing people, we become... Amitabha will not do this, it’s not possible, so it’s true. The karma of all sentient beings, the Buddha is always trying to save us, we are right there...oh, for a long time, don’t save the Buddha! Everyone sees it! Isn’t it? People with such good roots are willing to learn Buddhism. I also agree with it. I will hesitate when facing karma. The facts are in front of my eyes. Karma is incredible!

So do you want to let it go quickly? Yes! Help us strengthen this true faith and aspiration by keeping the precepts and reciting the Buddha. Then the stability in your heart will grow stronger day by day. Why? Oh...I’m sure I can die, You are more and more certain! Then your horror and anxiety and attachment to the world, because of your attachments will cause pain, so these will become less and less, you can get benefits before you die, why don’t you? You have to suffer every day... when you die, when you are dying, you are willing to breathe a sigh of relief: "Oh! I'm going to let go!" Why do you have to eat so much?

You are used to your own hardship. Anyway, I am used to eating poop. It’s delicious. Amitabha and they are reluctant to bear it! Go and see how they feel, Buddha Shakyamuni is the same, tears are shed every day! I used to The interpretation manuscript talks about crying, being patient there, tears are about to fall, feeling their compassionate mood, reluctant...reluctant to let us suffer every minute and every second, their mood is just In this way, we are still over there and can’t let go. Over there, “I’m willing to suffer!” You see if your child suffers outside, and you watch him suffer, he said, “It’s okay, I’m willing.” What will happen to you? What will happen to you as a parent? How do you feel?

The heart of the Buddha and Bodhisattva is more than immeasurable times more than the heart of your parents who love us. If you can experience it in this way, stand in the position of the Buddha, I believe you will not be so cruel, you will not be moved at all! People love us unconditionally. Hey, teach us Buddhism and don’t charge money. There are no conditions in Buddhism, just let you motivate yourself, praise others’ goodwill, cultivate your own good fortune, cultivate good luck, and cultivate the cause, so that you can have it. The retribution is for you. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas don’t need anything from us at all. If you’re so bitter and heartfelt to help us, people who are really hard-hearted will be moved unless you can’t feel it, so we have to change our position and perspective. Experience the Buddha's heart, this can also help us let go.

You know that his parents are waiting for us in a hurry at home. You dare not go home too late. Do you know their mood? You don't want to do too many bad things. You always make trouble for them and go to the police station to save you. , You also have a conscience, don’t you? Knowing that someone cares about us and someone loves us, you won’t be doing stupid things all the time. This world is all creating karma, so we just do what we want. ", I don’t want to do anything, I’m not obsessed with it. I’ll do my best to do what I’m supposed to do. It’s a place to pay the debt, you understand?

But it’s not that people tell you to ask you to do...whatever you do, just do it well..., no! Only do the right thing. Some people say: "Marry me! We will never be separated from life to life." This cannot be promised, this kind of debt I can't pay it back, it's endless.The right thing can be done. All the relatives and creditors will be saved for him, and everyone will become Daoists, fellow Daoists, husband and wife, male and female friends, this is the destiny, and you all have a cause and destiny in your past lives. , Everyone can meet again, "Okay, we don't want to be entangled in this life anymore." Don't agree to "we will get married again in the next life."

He wants money to his death, he can pay back, and what can be resolved is resolved, it doesn’t matter, it’s a big deal, I'm going to die, that can usually be resolved, depending on your life, lend me to live for a few more years, I will take you with you Recite the Buddha and practice together, and we will be relieved together. Then your debt will be paid off. This is "following the destiny." Don't say that I want to do what I want in my life. You have encountered the karma, so you should do it well. Do you understand that?

Because you already know that everything in this time and in this world is false, so if you know the truth of emptiness, you can easily let go. What's so attached to this originally false? I want to experience the realm of emptiness. , I usually need to use my heart. In the past few years, this friend was alive and well, but now he suddenly disappeared and passed away. How could this be? He is healthier than me! No, do you think this person has ever existed? Yes! But it’s not there anymore. Where should we go? Right? Life is a illusion. Send it away. I protect your Dhamma and don’t hinder your practice. Then we go as early as possible and try to go as early as possible. Don’t be like this: "You leave so early, I will not be with you!" This is not good, so you are too selfish. He will go and come back early to bless you, better! Right? Okay, then our time is up, we will study here, tomorrow There is one Buddha in the Falun Society... Oh, the day after tomorrow, there is one Buddha in the Falun Society, and it is full now.

All things will also go bad, and things will break shortly after they are used. It turns out that the thing is gone. Anything will change and disappear. Why is this? Because it was originally empty, it will disappear.

Why did it happen? Temporarily, some factors put it together. Originally there was no Buddha statue. Then we went to find the materials, one and the other turned it into a Buddha statue. We created it, but there was no such material. Open it, dissolve it, yes...return to the original, so people will not die? People will not die, so don't be afraid of death, people will not die, our Buddha nature will always exist.Now that we are confined by this body and this stinky skin, our Buddha-nature and spirituality cannot get out of this prison. We are now in jail. We are in jail. Our Buddha-nature is locked in this body. Then we are afraid of death. I want to live a few more years. It’s best to get rid of this prison as soon as possible, but don’t die too ugly. Some are afraid of pain, illness, and die well, so I pray for the Buddha’s blessings and walk well. , Passed away smoothly and freely from this prison.

Once we get out of this prison, all our sufferings are almost gone. Like that ghost, all living beings of ghosts do not have a body. He has magical powers without a body. We all have magical powers. We don’t need to cultivate some magical powers. It will naturally appear, flying away from the sky, five of the six magical powers will appear, "Hexintong," "Fate," and "Supernatural Foot Skills" are all available, so naturally they will come forward, and they will be shut down. In this body, there are no magical powers, and you can’t use it! Go out early, right? The last "draining and exhausting" is wisdom. Your troubles must be purified and eliminated. Your "draining and exhausting." , When this trouble is exhausted, the "exhaustion and exhaustion" will appear.This depends on the blessing of the Buddha, let us open up wisdom, wisdom is opened up, all our troubles are eliminated, and our "leakage and completeness" are also completed.

So don’t cling to this body, throw it away quickly, make up for it, make money for it, and then do what it does for it... Karma is really stupid! This is called greed, anger, ignorance, ignorance, right? You made your prison stronger, put on makeup, and changed the color... Did the prison in Singapore color it again for that design? No? Didn’t do such a boring thing, we have to spend money We need to put on makeup and make it strong. These are all problems, because we don’t know the truth is like this, so we should get out of this prison as soon as possible, and we will be free. This is the truth. Ordinary people will not understand and think this is the truth. The body is me.

Therefore, the Buddha showed us the truth in the world, but he is no longer there. Our disciples of Buddhist monks have this responsibility to convey the teachings of the Buddha. If you hear about it, if you believe in the Buddha and the Master, you will not deceive you, even though you still don’t. I understand why, but I won’t lie to you. If you believe it, just do it, teach you to recite the Buddha, teach you to keep the precepts, and teach you to hurry up and put your heart in the world of bliss and not to be a person in this world.

Although this body has not been repaid, it hasn't been broken, and it can’t go away, but it’s reliant on the old karma, playing magical powers in this world, so it’s good! Then you are at ease every day, you are waiting to become a Buddha, you You’re not an ordinary person, you’re not an ordinary person now! Do you want to be a person on the list of Buddhahood? Do you want? Yes, don’t be an ordinary person. The scripture says: "Fentoria", "Human A good person, a good person among the people", as long as we chant and rely on the Buddha in our hearts, you are not an ordinary person now, so this true faith and aspiration is very important. If you initiate a true faith and aspiration, you are not an ordinary person right now, because you will surely become a Buddha in this life.

We all achieve each other, don’t hinder each other, don’t each other, okay... I’ll see you off if you want to go, hurry up
