Dear Master Abbot, Master Yamato is compassionate!Dear fellow practitioners, good evening, Amitabha!
This evening is the eighth lecture of our ten-day lecture. It happened to be our eight fasts and three-time pujas tomorrow. This cause and condition is very extraordinary, and it happens that we are studying the "Infinite Life Sutra" this time. The main point is that we will also talk about the precepts for the content of the scriptures in the next two days, so this time is also properly arranged.The old monk Guangqin was a great virtue in Taiwan, and some fellow practitioners went to ask his old man, how should we practice as a layman?The old monk Guangqin went to Zen in his early years. Later, he specialized in Zhuhong Pure Land. The people who participated in Zen talk very clean and neat, and there will be no more words that are narrative. Therefore, the old man’s answer is very straightforward. He said: "Layee! Xiu! Cultivate blessings, just recite Buddha!” It means that it is really difficult to talk about practice in your family’s daily life. At most, you can have the opportunity to cultivate blessings in Buddhism, and when you are free at home. It is very rare to recite the Buddha. This also shows that practicing at home is a lot of obstacles and not easy.
What is practice?Generally speaking, the precepts at home start with the three conversions, which are the five precepts, eight precepts, and bodhisattva precepts. But in fact, when we study carefully, we really want to talk about the two words of practice. Strictly speaking, it should start from the monkhood and practice at home... What is practice?Our old monk said, Jingkong old monk said: "correct my wrong thoughts and behavior", but our fellow practitioners understand it very well!At home and even in life, let’s not talk about outsiders. My family members are not too dare to remind us of some habitual problems. If you say a few more words later, you will not be happy to turn your face... I’ve spent two to three years remembering this hate. If it’s not good, you can keep it for a lifetime.So now no one among the colleagues or even family and friends dare to remind, that no one dares to remind us that our own habits are not easy to find, and the authorities are fascinated, so this is a very difficult place. It is really not easy to practice at home. It is especially special to practice at home. It lies in action and practice. The real purpose is to transform some of our bad bad habits, behaviors, and a deeper level of our minds. The various thoughts and bad evil thoughts in our hearts must be transformed into them. , This is not easy!Therefore, the standard of laymen has actually fallen to a very low level.
The Five Precepts are the "benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom and faith" as referred to by Confucianism. The Five Precepts are just the basic conditions for being a human being. If you fail to do these five precepts, you are not a human being.To be able to be called a good person, then you have to do well with the ten virtues, the five precepts are to stop evil, and the ten virtues are the cultivation of blessings. Now you see that it is not easy to be able to do the five precepts. The standard should start with the bodhisattva vow. The lowest standard for this bodhisattva vow is "six-fold and twenty-eight lightness." This is the beginning of self-discipline, and it also fulfills the obligations of a buddha disciple.It stands to reason that we enter Buddhism!Three or five years, the longest three or five years should be the time to start to receive the bodhisattva vows. I personally asked to receive the bodhisattva vows in the second year of entering Buddhism. So the five precepts and the three conversions are the beginning!This rule respects the teacher and respects the Tao, just like when we are going to school, we always have to sign up first. This is also a rule and a sign of respect, so we formally take refuge in the three first, and then learn the five precepts, so that we at least these basic bad habits You have to surrender, so that you can look like a Buddhist disciple.
Then, after a period of cultivating, you are no longer a beginner. At this time, you should start to perform a little obligation, because the five precepts are purely self-interested, and the bodhisattva precepts begin to be altruistic, and there are some obligations to be fulfilled. For example, the bodhisattva vows are obliged to provide for the Three Jewels. In fact, this obligation is that the Buddha's supernatural powers and wisdom are perfected. Will he be short of people's support?No, it is mainly stipulated that the layman should protect the Three Jewels, and the most important thing is to benefit the layman himself to actively cultivate blessings.Without blessings, you can’t do anything, and it’s very difficult to practice. In the future, you will have to save sentient beings. You look shabby. People look down on you, and you can’t save sentient beings. So the main purpose of bodhisattva vows is to help. Layers are more active in achieving true blessings and wisdom. For example, there is a precept. Someone in this forty miles speaks about scriptures. Of course, it is our related method. Then they are obliged to listen to them. They cannot stay at home and watch TV. Watching a movie and running out to go shopping.Unless you don't know, you must come and listen if you know, otherwise it is a violation of the precepts, and this has some obligations, so in fact, the main purpose is to achieve yourself.
The Buddha's ordination was definitely not meant to restrain people. All beings have the habit of laziness. If it is not prescribed for you, I am afraid that I am still obsessed with the five desires without knowing it.Even after entering Buddhism for ten or twenty years, looking back, he is still tacky, his habit has not changed at all, and his temperament has not changed.Logically speaking, we Buddhist disciples should be very compassionate and close. Most people should be vegetarian. People who are vegetarian should be pure in body and mind. Even animals dare to get close. That dog likes to bite people who eat meat. The dog’s nose is very good. Spirit, the taste of meat-eating people is different. Is there anyone here who eats meat-eating meat?If so, try as much as possible. If you can eat vegan, it will take about 7 years at most. All the cells of our entire body can be metabolized once. At that time, our inner temperament and even our physical condition are completely renewed, oops. !This is very special.
Then we have fulfilled the precept of not killing living creatures, and we can do it more perfectly. So this is because we are also one of the four disciples of the laymen and students of the Buddha. After receiving the teachings of the Buddha and gaining academic benefits, of course we must Do a little duty.On the one hand, we continue to actively accumulate blessings, and on the other hand, we are also doing our part as disciples. We help the Buddha, cooperate with the four disciples, become a monk and be responsible for spreading the Dharma and protecting the Dharma at home. This can truly enable us to "stay the Dharma for a long time, continued." "Buddha wisdom life", this is the responsibility and obligation that each of us should bear.So what to do?Of course you have to learn first, how do you learn it?You have to ask for precepts first. This is a rule and procedure.

Some people have wrong ideas, oops!I am not able to hold the five precepts well now, and I dare not ask for precepts. This concept is completely reversed. When you hold them well, you have become a Buddha. What precepts are you going to ask for?It's because we don't do well that we have to be big-hearted to learn the vows, so before we learn the vows, we must first ask for vows, and after we get the vows, we will formally learn the vows, and then after we learn well, we can do as much as we know.The refuge certificate we teach the five precepts says "learn, do, and follow." No one can achieve Consummation as soon as he takes the precepts. The same is true for our monks!After taking the precepts, we women have three hundred and forty-eight precepts. How could you have your hair shaved and achieve all three hundred and forty-eight precepts? It's not the Buddha's wish to come again. No one can do it, so it's the same!After you ask for the precepts, you must listen to the precepts and learn the precepts, and then continue to hold them one by one in your life. If you do not do well, you can repent and repent.
The most important and most valuable thing is our desire to get the precepts. When your heart is sent, half of your merits have been obtained. Don't let half of your merits go for nothing, right?As soon as we ask for ordination, we will have this guardian god. There are twenty-five guardian gods with the five precepts alone. They are by our side day and night. After we ask for the precepts, we will have the guardian body. What is the guardian body?Generally speaking, there are four kinds of precepts: precepts, precepts, precepts, and precepts. Precepts are divided into two types: monastic precepts and family precepts. Precepts, body, are the physical body, body The character of the body.After preaching the precepts to you through the preceptor, the whole ritual process, and his teaching, after such a ritual is completed, the spirit, ideas, and methods of precepting have entered your heart, and then Naturally, there will be a kind of righteousness!
Those of us who want to take the precepts will have a sense of righteousness. This is invisible, but many fellow practitioners were originally afraid of taking precepts. Later, after changing their concepts with him, after asking for precepts, they would walk with their heads upright and their hearts would be different. Very safe.Because we know that we have a guardian god, and there are guardian gods and guardian gods around us, to help us protect this precept, this is that we will have changes within us, and those who ask for precepts are different, so ask to receive the five precepts. Asking to receive the bodhisattva vows is different. The five vows are just for benefiting myself. From the beginning, I want to stop evil, to be a cleaner person, and to improve as much as possible. That's why there will be such a blessing.If we are receiving the bodhisattva vows, then the mentality is different. Starting today, not only will I cut off evil and cultivate goodness, but I will also show compassion and benefit all living beings like a bodhisattva, wow!The temperament that appears is different again. There are more guardians of the law and guardians of the ring. Is it difficult to hold the vows of the Bodhisattva?It is not difficult to keep, the five precepts are five, and the bodhisattva precepts are six plus twenty-eight, how much?There are only thirty-four precepts, thirty-four precepts!If there is enough time tomorrow, I will also talk to you by the way.
In fact, it is not difficult for us to practice these precepts. The most important thing is that we must be motivated. For example, when we see a sick person, we can’t ignore him. If you ignore him and ignore him, see him fall on the side of the road. You have no reaction at all, where is like a Bodhisattva?The Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva hears the sound and saves suffering. Where there is suffering, we are the first to run away. Then we have received the bodhisattva vow, we just want to learn to be a bodhisattva, and the seven emotions must be like a bodhisattva, so there is a vow in it. If you see someone is sick , You should try your best to take care of him, help him, and visit him.It’s not difficult for you to do it. The people’s rewards are so great now. It’s really not easy for you to see a person on the side of the road who fell ill. You have to cultivate fortune!That opportunity is not necessarily there, and this patient is in this sad field, and the blessing we cultivate is the greatest, and the best blessing we want to cultivate is from here.
Don't keep seeing it, wow!Only famous masters can provide support, and only the avenues can provide support and support, and then some small characters and small people are ignored, then you are wrong, and often you will miss some opportunities to achieve real merits and blessings, so you must really want If we know how to keep the precepts, we must understand the teachings and listen to the scriptures, know that we must learn from the Buddha and Bodhisattva's equanimity, and follow our predestined conditions.Moreover, in this precept, there are also "opening, covering, holding, and breaking" in keeping the precepts. It does not mean: Oh!I am holding this precept now, and I accidentally committed it. What should I do if I am miserable?In the beginning, you are born with troubles, but in fact, sometimes you can open up the relationship. Don't fall out with your family for the sake of keeping the precepts. It becomes difficult to get along with others.
For example, if you have the Five Precepts not to kill and want to be vegetarian as much as possible, then when you get home, you will split it into two groups with your family. You eat meat and I am a vegetarian, and then you have to buy a new set of pots. Otherwise, you will get the smell of meat, there is that smell of meat, and even this kind of almost innocent behavior, people will see you very strange.So as much as possible to achieve Consummation, it’s best to bring all your family members to a vegetarian diet. It’s also good for your health. If their fate is not yet mature, don’t try to force them, you can still cook meat. It’s okay to give it to your family, but you have to recite the Buddha's deeds in your heart. This is compelling. This is called Kaiyuan. Kaiyuan can be opened. Kaiyuan is a convenient last resort, and when it is really for the sake of others, don’t do it. It is not for your own convenience to make others feel troubled at this time. It must be for the benefit of sentient beings or to avoid the troubles of sentient beings. Only then can we open up the predestined relationship and open up this convenience, but try not to open up the convenience as much as possible.
Like me, I expect myself as much as possible, especially the precept of not being liar is difficult to keep. Many people are wise. I want to save sentient beings. Therefore, I have to seduce with my desires, and then I will become the wisdom of the Buddha. I talk a lot all day long. Lie, then tell yourself, anyway, I'm doing him well, I want to save him!Is this right?We are not good at keeping the precepts, and we are not good at saving ourselves. Are you still capable of saving others?So it is difficult to keep the precept of not being liar. We must try our best, that is, don't open up the predestined condition, don't open up the predestined condition casually.What kind of talent is qualified to open fate?Dharmakayas and Arahants really have a pure heart, and everything they do is for the benefit of sentient beings, not for their own sake.

We ordinary people are not planning for ourselves all the time, including our parents, who seem to have nothing to say to our children. No one is closest to our parents and children. Looking for a girl to become a phoenix, isn't it to satisfy your vanity?Compared with others, my family’s Xiaobao’s classwork is better. Our sister also learns piano and what violin, and shows off to others, regardless of whether they have studied hard or whether they are interested or not, even parents are like this. , But the parents did not intentionally, because people are like this, people!Ordinary!This is human nature.Therefore, we must not take too much of our three poisons, greed, hatred, and ignorance. We must restrain our own body, mouth, and mind through the precepts, so that we will not unknowingly continue to do evil karma without even noticing it.If you can detect it, then you will usually not continue to cause evil, because you always believe in cause and effect!It is not too outrageous. The problem is that most of us have no way to detect it. It is too natural for us to do evil, and we are too accustomed to it. This is the habit of our ordinary people!So you must be required to take the precepts, and you must learn the precepts. After you learn, you will know how to avoid karma and how to truly achieve real blessings and wisdom.So today I just met this cause and fate, and I am also very happy that I just rejoice in your heart.
Today we have so many fellow Daoists here today, and you are all like monks today. Oh!We are fellow Daoists, you are a post-student and I am a senior. Although the hair is not shaved, but the precepts we hold, the eight precepts seem to be eight precepts, but in fact they are nine precepts, two of which are combined together. , Is also close to the ten precepts of novice monks. There is only one precept of not touching money or not touching money. You did not hold it. This is not among the eight precepts.However, starting from morning till night, you will be able to learn and maintain the precepts with diligence and peace of mind under the compassionate arrangement of Master Yamato from morning till night, so that means that all ten precepts can be completed.You have to cherish such a good opportunity, such a good environment, and how to arrange it with your heart. It is really rare. Then the greatest merit and benefit of this eight-pass fast is that as long as we have received the eight-pass fast for one day, we will be sure in the future. There is an opportunity to become a monk, but it is not so simple.
In the past, when the Buddha was alive, there was a person who wanted to be a monk. The Sariputra and their Arahants had very limited magical powers. He went into concentration to see if this person had good roots. It took considerable good roots and conditions to be able to become a monk. For a long time, people didn’t have good roots, and they didn’t plant the good roots of a monk, so they didn’t shave him. Later, when the Buddha came back, he just met the Buddha and said that he could shave him because the Buddha’s supernatural powers were more perfect. He knew that he was long, long, long ago. Once planted a little bit of good roots, with this little bit of good roots, you can become a monk, and the destiny is mature.Therefore, even if we have only received the Eight Passes in our life, we will be a monk for one day, and there will be a cause for becoming a monk in the future. If we only practice at home, we can at most attain the Three Fruits, and the Four Fruits Arhats will not. If we practice on our own, In other words, there is no way to consummate the Dao Karma, and you still have to become a monk to be able to truly consummate the board of directors. Therefore, it is a great merit to hold the eight passes.
This is different from the nature of the bodhisattva vows. Although there is only one day, its merits are not inferior to those of the bodhisattva vows, but its nature is different. Consummation means that he will live to the fullest life or the future, and this precept can exist for all generations in the future. Different natures are very unique.Those who have received the Eight Passes by predestined conditions today, especially young people, should let the predestined conditions mature quickly and become a monk in this life. Now the social environmental education environment is so bad, you spend a lot of money to learn skills in cram schools. Learning knowledge. In fact, those who really often lose their wives and break soldiers, learn a lot of bad things and come back, pollute our body and mind, grow our self slowly, and learn a lot of knowledge and technology. As a result, our morality and body are not purified, so now we have to learn to improve ourselves.
The best place is the Sangha, so men who become monks can also be monks. Whether you want to beg a wife or not, it’s better to be a monk and do exercises. It’s a habit like Thailand, and men will be monks for at least three months. Short-term ordination, this is a very good experience!Can make you truly become a real man, not the same.Because the ordination itself is something that a non-general can do. This is something that a big man can do. The big husband surpasses the generals and prime ministers. Such a... this kind of commitment person does something that is not easy to do. , The burden of the Tathagata family business, so the lowest standard, at least devote yourself to a short-term ordination experience, in the future, if you want to be a protector of the Dharma, you can do better, and you will truly know how to respect the Three Jewels.
You see the monks that you can usually see outside. Those are the habits of the lay laymen, chatting and joking with you. There is no such thing as the monks in the Sangha!If you look at it, you will naturally have that kind of awe, like when we see the bhikkhu, we are trembling with fright!Don't dare to joke, we are very strict in the jungle of the Sangha, we accidentally called you to hit the incense board and kneel in front of the Buddha to beat you, how dare you be a stranger, how can you see people like you?You see our Master Dahe is so easy-going, he won't be angry no matter how you joke with him, that's Hengshun sentient beings!All day long, telling you the precepts with a stern face, if this doesn't work and that doesn't work, you will soon run away, alas!Since it is so difficult to practice, I immediately retreated, so I had to wrong myself, so I couldn't stay in the mortal world for too long.
I didn't dare to stay too long, and I would soon run into the mountains to hide, or else the tacky habit would show up again after staying too long, and it would be bad if the habit was contaminated with the red habit unknowingly.Therefore, a monk, especially a young person, really has to make the mind. Not only can you spread the Dharma and benefit your life, but also benefit all living beings to take on the family business of the Tathagata. Even if you are a short-term monk, you can greatly improve your body and mind. This is what you don’t learn in the world. It’s so good that it’s free, and it’s free. You see, the Buddha and Bodhisattva has kept the blessings for XNUMX years and provided for the cultivation of our four disciples. We all depend on the Buddha for food. What merits and merits, such good resources should not be used.
Then in the society, they spend money arbitrarily, cheating people everywhere and failing to learn good things, including school education. The quality is not good, and it is really not good. According to the standards of our practice, and the school The environment is becoming more and more complicated. The teacher is afraid to teach the students, for fear of being threatened by others halfway home, or sue the parents. Tomorrow the principal will come to punish the teacher and become like this. Then who dares to teach?So even if in school, people form parties and don't join a party, someone will immediately fix you, which is terrible.So how do we improve ourselves?It’s not enough to study on your own. If you work behind closed doors, you will not be able to really improve in your life, but will increase your ego. This kind of obstacles to know, you think you know a lot. If you don’t really correct your habits and behaviors, you are not qualified. When it comes to spiritual practice, no matter how many Buddhist classics you read, it will be useless. You will forget all of them when you get older, right?When the memory is lost, it is forgotten, and it is of no use at all.So practice is talking about real guns and live ammunition!It's really a bad habit of treating oneself, and it must be corrected.
Then we women don’t need to hear and say, oh!There are so many three hundred and forty-eight precepts for women, so how do you keep them?In fact, as long as we learn it and we develop habits in our lives, these precepts are actually to help us live a very healthy, very law-abiding, very comfortable living habits and lifestyle, very comfortable!Don't want to say that keeping the precepts is a very restrictive thing.Actually not, you just have to learn it and use it in your life. After you get used to it, you won’t feel bound. It just sets you up some more standard life routines, so you can hold it and wait until you develop a life. Habits, why do you feel tied hands and feet?Nope!On the contrary, people in the world are in a mess, things are messed up, things are not organized, and they don’t care about hygiene. You will not be used to it, so you will keep these precepts in your life. You don’t think you are keeping the precepts, it is natural, so from this concept Turn it around first, and you will know how to cherish this opportunity.
Learning to learn is to help us continuously transform and improve our dignity and temperament. Otherwise, you are usually yourself, we women love to be beautiful, like makeup and wear beautiful clothes, and want to dress up more attractively, and it takes a lot of money. Is the money effective?It may not be effective. Too much skin care products and wait for allergies to go to the doctor. It is very hard. To really make yourself attractive, you have to transform from the inner temperament of our temperament, as well as our body, mouth and mind, and the majesty of walking, staying, sitting and lying.After you have learned it, you will naturally be able to show this different attitude. Even if our facial features are ugly, but as long as you have a good temperament, many men like it, and the men who really have connotation and cultivation are looking at it. A person’s temperament is not based on a person’s appearance, how thick or thick the makeup is. That is, people with poor qualities will appreciate the appearance, so we really smart people must transform from the inside, so that learning the precepts and keeping precepts can help us become There are too many benefits for a person who is truly attractive and loved by everyone.

Go back and read the twenty-fourth grade of the scriptures and the standards of that. It’s not so easy to do, but we have to learn and do as much as possible. The simplest method is also the most stable. Everyone will be able to die. That is to rely XNUMX% on Buddha power according to XNUMX wishes. It is really a method that Amitabha Buddha wants us to hold.
So if we don’t rely XNUMX% on the power of Buddha to die, and if we don’t surpass these three generations, if we go straight to the land and see the Buddha immediately, we still have a little doubt, then it will be based on the depth of our doubts and our sin obstacles. The depths are different, and the same will be born into the third generation and the ninth product, but we just think, oops!My karma is so heavy, even if I die in the next generation, this is not the case. If we are to judge with our skill, let alone the next generation, we have no share at all. It is not that simple, relying on ourselves.So what if the three generations died according to the teaching of Master Shandao?It is all about encountering fate. It depends on what kind of fate we encounter. The three generations of the previous generations are encountering ordinary people. All three generations are aimed at us ordinary people. We are all partakers. If we follow the teachings of other ancestors, then the older generations are all great people. The kind of kung fu where the Bodhisattva reappears can only be done. Then we don’t have a share, but the master of guidance is the Amitabha reappearance. He told us that these three generations were originally created for our ordinary people, of course everyone has a share. .
Then the greater our mind is, we encounter Mahayana, and then our confidence is stronger. Such people die in the third rank of the upper generation, and the third rank of the middle generation meets the small ordinary people and the Hinayana people. Be careful and ignore others. It’s good if you die as soon as possible. This kind of person dies in the third rank of the middle generation, and it is also based on our doubts, and the level of confidence, etc., these are all related factors, the third rank of the lower generation meets ordinary people, It is the five evils and ten evils mentioned in the "Guan Jing", we can die if we break the precepts, don't be afraid, oops!This is afraid of breaking the precepts and dare not ask for precepts.The six-character name of our method "Nanwu Amitabha" has boundless powers, and all kinds of sins can be eliminated. The scriptures in "Guan Jing" of the third generation and the ninth grade are very clear. Otherwise, how could it be possible that you who are going to go to hell after all the evils and ten evils, how can you be reborn to become a Buddha? La!But we know this fact is good, so when we, regardless of whether we died accidentally or in a coma, if you read the scriptures, "If the Buddha reaches three thousand, the Buddha's mighty virtue and belief can exceed", the whole earth will burn. Don't be afraid, when it's time to die, Amitabha is standing by and waiting for us at any time.The lotus flower will appear immediately, and you will go up. Your spiritual consciousness will go up. It doesn't matter if this body burns out. Don't be afraid. There will be no accidents. Oh!If others take away, you will be left. You still want to climb to the top of the mountain. How can there be a way to go to such a high realm as the Buddha's land? So we really have to rely on the Buddha, and only Amitabha has saved us. There are even a thousand Buddhas in this enticed wish, and the "Song of Tragedy" says a thousand Buddhas. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are not like ordinary people!He doesn’t care about your Dharma body and wisdom. Anyway, you just stay by my side and do things. Patriarch’s virtue is like the old Zen sect. In the past, the patriarch’s virtue was not possible. If you want to graduate and leave as soon as possible, I will be more relaxed.Our purpose is only to achieve others' Dao Karma. This is the mentality of practitioners, so of course we are unavoidably selfish. Sometimes people also value you and like you!Just keep you around, but this is all selfishness.

There is no good knowledge!very hard.It’s rare to meet someone who is really practicing, but he’s already much better than other people, those who are practising falsely, but it’s hard to say that they have no selfishness at all. To be truly selfless, he must have the ability to watch. Where is your cause and destiny? How can he help you? There must be wisdom in this, so you must have people who are quite enlightened, and then you must have a lot of mind, so this kind of good knowledge is hard to come by!Rarely, then these eight ranks are all about the cultivation of cause and effect for sentient beings who have passed away to the world of bliss.

Then your purse is getting less and less and empty again. The next day you are eager to make money, and you’re worried about your life all day. What’s so good about that?Is it okay to enjoy the five desires?The real happiness lies in the Dharma, and Zen pleasure is food!This is true happiness. People who truly have the Fa in their hearts naturally don’t need external materials. You won’t feel lacking, and you can really live in peace and happiness.
The Arahant eats one meal a week. Pichi Buddha eats one meal in two weeks. For example, we can only eat two meals a day at most. No matter how small the stomach is, the stomach and intestines will protest. It’s very hard. Everyone is used to eating dinner. In fact, if we don’t eat it, suddenly asking us to eat it will feel very hard. It feels like eating at six or seven o’clock. Then we all get up early to bed at midnight and feel like we’re not eating. We haven't finished digesting all at once, and we are going to sleep, which is very unhygienic.When we fall asleep, the intestines move very slowly and hardly move, so the food is very difficult to digest, oops!It feels terrifying when I think about it!There are Yoneda Ko in her stomach, it is really very unclean. Does Yoneda Ko know what it is?The sum of rice fields is just one word, indigestion, sleep and restless sleep, and then eat more meals, but you see that most people have to cook, eat, and wash, and spend a lot of time at least two hours can not run It is a waste of time, and the body is a burden.So skipping one meal and not eating will really make you feel safe!
In the future, you'd better not eat dinner every day, but some people will be uncomfortable and fear that this precept is not good, not to mention keeping this precept, and don’t deliberately regard it as keeping precepts, just as a kind of enjoyment, a good life. Get used to it, but most people just start. You won’t get used to it after you finish eating at XNUMX o’clock until the evening. So we can say, let’s not say that we hold lunch, we just eat a little at three or four in the afternoon, one or two slices of bread or It's biscuits and a cup of cereal.This is what I do, to prevent that sometimes you have to open fate, have a dinner with someone, the elders want to eat, you can't accompany him, then this means that if you don’t eat normally, if you eat suddenly, the stomach acid will not secrete gastrointestinal acid. This represents greed, hatred and ignorance, and a small and narrow white road in the middle. The white road means that our roots of goodness are very subtle. The water and fire, greed, hatred and ignorance often pour into this. Coming from the top of the white road, that is, it often overwhelms our good roots, and finally believes a little bit, and then suddenly doesn't believe it, and confidence has receded. This is us, our situation.There is the Buddha Sakyamuni to the east to persuade us, tell us this method, you hurry to the west, you will walk through this little white road, it’s okay, don’t be afraid, there is Amitabha on the west side of the opposite bank, and he will be waiting to pick you up.

That’s not true!How can there be such a cheap thing, there is no free lunch in the world, there must be a cause before an effect!If you just tell you these things and make you lose your confidence, these things belong to people with wrong views.
At this time, our confidence is even more difficult to build. What should we do?Just hesitating, standing at this crossroads, do you want to listen to the words of Lord Shakya and go forward, or just stay on the same road, in case I want to live and go, wow!The two rivers of water and fire are constantly pouring up, whether I will fall down, I am very scared!What Master Shandao describes as this person who recites the Buddha is talking about us, our state of mind is like this, and we are hesitating whether to move forward or not.But at this moment we have to recognize that these venomous snakes and beasts are innocent to the creditor. He is leaning on us one step at a time, so even if we want to stay where we are, we have a dead end. In other words, we have no choice. There is only one road ahead, and there is no other way to go, so we must listen to the words of Lord Sakyamuni, and go forward bravely on this white road. With the determination to break the boat, we have no way out. Once we turn around, we will be the innocent creditors. Indeed, they It is forced to come step by step.
What are those kinship creditors?The good times and bad times in our lives are all these people!Adversity adds to your worries all day long, makes you greedy, anger and ignorance, these good times make you greedy, make you stubborn, oops!More and more reluctant to give up, and then the last two people made a vow again to make an appointment to be a husband and wife again in the next life.Damn!Life after life is endless. Obstacles you can't regenerate into a Buddha. These are all kinsmen and creditors who have been chasing you. So even if we want to stay where we are and don't want to live in the Paradise of Bliss, we are dead.This is the situation that Master Shandao told us, so we must listen to the advice of the Blessed One, go forward, all the Buddhas in the ten directions have proved it for us, what we are afraid of, even if we believe it wrong, there is no Amitabha on the other side, anyway There is also a dead end here!It’s death anyway. It might be better to die on the other side. We won’t suffer. This is an analogy given to us by Master Shandao to strengthen our confidence and help us develop this desire for life. No matter how much you know, it’s useless to have a relationship with you. At most you can be a mage, and you are not a very good mage. A really good mage is to do it by yourself. With the heart, there is righteousness.
