If you can recite the Buddha, you can recite more and less without any requirements. You can die with ten thoughts before you die, right? But? You can't say, oh!Then I will mix it up. When he is dying, he will have a problem with ten thoughts, and his mentality is problematic. One thought of ten thoughts means that he will only encounter this method when he is dying!Even when he is sick, he can't read it out, but he can make a vow if he has the intention. Some people hear the Dharma in the pubic body, hear the Dharma, and he can hear it when he thinks, and he also initiates a wish to die. Then if you encounter it now When you are thirty or fifty years away from your demise, if you do not recite the Buddha, then your desire to be born will have a problem, understand? I still remember one time!About five or six years ago, there was a time in Macau. Someone asked me to go up and talk... and talked for two to thirty minutes. It’s all full, and then what I said that time!At least dozens of men in front were crying, because I was crying too!I love to cry, and it’s easy to be moved! The true feelings are revealed, this is the blessing of Buddha, we have been touched in our hearts, and then we just cried when we talked about that place, and all the men in front were crying, let alone the women. , It's very loud, and the women are relatively uncontrollable.To practice Buddhism is to have this kind of induction. You have to be able to feel the compassion of the Buddha, the kindness of Amitabha to us.Without the forty-eight vows of Buddha Amitabha, each of us would be dead, and none of us would really have a way to survive.No one of our parents in the world can help us. He doesn’t know where he is going to die, right? Then what should we do if we suffer so much? How to solve the suffering of immeasurable kalpa? We just talked about it by virtue of precept and wisdom. No one can do it, and no one can do it during the Dharma Ending Period. The old monk also said he couldn't do it!right?

Those who are eminent monks and great virtues can not do it. No one dares to say that you will be safe in your death.But our method is a special method!There are too many places in Master Yinguang’s notes that all talk about Buddhism. Our thirteen patriarchs actually have the same thoughts as Master Shandao, but in his expression, the old monk often said that whether one lives or not depends on faith. For whether there is wish or not, the thoughts of Master Ou Yi are quoted here, and his quotes are the same, but because each person's relationship is different, he will emphasize it again.For example, Master Yinguang talked about all Buddha power, very clear words, what power do we have, I have karma since the beginning of the robbery, right? So it is all Buddha power, many of these words are It's very clear, "it all depends on the power of Buddha."Some people said that Master Yinguang also mentioned some words from his own two powers. Yes, I have checked them, but he himself has an explanation, because we who are studying the scripture know that this word can be used flexibly. It has different terms at different times. If you catch this textual fault, you will die there. Fortunately, Master Yinguang himself has an explanation. What he said is "self-reliance", which is the wish that can arise from our own sentient beings. The strength of this willing heart, the willingness to regenerate the heart, is not the power of merit! It is not meditation, it is not that no thoughts are born, it is not that everything is done with one mind and one mind, it is not this force!If it is this force, then all the ten evils of the Vipassana can be reborn. Isn’t it contradictory? Right? There are no conditions, but it’s very strange. This is really a tacit understanding between the two of the Blessed One and Amitabha. A kind of skillful lead.

It’s strange! Master Shandao was in Chang’an at that time. This method was completely unconditional, but the people trained by him, no matter what; don’t say monks, lay people, there are so many people who have attained Buddha samādhi in three years, and this has been recorded. Why? There is no pressure, no requirements, and we can decide to die completely by the power of Buddha. What you truly believe in your heart, you who are really pressure-free, you are happy and happy when there is no pressure. , You don’t want to realize that there is no way to recite the Buddha and Samadhi, no way! Just like saying that we chant... We ordinary beings are easily addicted to the five desires and six dusts, but if we like to recite the Buddha, we can recite it. It’s tight, you’re addicted to mindfulness, and you can’t stop it if you don’t mind for a day. There is nothing you can do. Will you be able to attain chanting samādhi? Yes! We are not asking, we don’t need samādhi in order to be reborn, but it will happen naturally. Guo Pao, understand? This is the ingenious cooperation between the Blessed One and Amitabha. This is the subtlety of the Pure Land Method. The Great Bodhisattva is so skillful that the Great Bodhisattva can only teach You are right! Keeping the precepts, practicing concentration, and then realizing the results. The characteristic of this method is the method of peace and happiness, which is not difficult to do or tolerate.Why do everyone have a hard time in cultivating? Although there is a cause, you will doubt it, and you cannot accept it immediately.When I met, I immediately accepted it, because I have twelve years of teaching foundation, and I have also worked hard to recite Buddhism, knowing that this road is not working, this road is not working, and there are many contradictions. Obviously, there are three roots, Wanxiu. Ten thousand people go! If you want to read everything with one mind, no one can go!It doesn’t make sense! Then our old monk teaches the Fa in all aspects. Sometimes he tells you, it’s really simple, just like Master Shandao, he sometimes tells you to read it!How... he has his skill, because some people don't have to practice Buddha!He had to force you like this!Advise you!Each has the skill of teaching the Fa skillfully. The old monk teaches you to be able to listen, and he speaks in all aspects. It is very simple at one time, difficult at the other, and if you don’t practice Kungfu! You can’t die, but at the same time you will say "Departure". Whether or not it depends on whether you believe in a wish or not, you can die as long as you emphasize the belief in a wish. This old monk often speaks, so you must be able to listen. Don’t just listen to one side. You don’t listen to the other side. Then you depend on your personal fate. Well! What you believe means that your good roots are there, and there is nothing right or wrong, personal karma, as long as you are willing to practice, it is very good, and we all admire it with joy.

For example, we are now also advocating this not to eat after lunch. We all come together for lunch and not to eat. Before, I could only eat oatmeal at night and not dinner, so I suggest that everyone do this. If you can’t do it, you can’t talk about it. There are too many. Now I have not eaten after lunch, so I will especially promote it. Everywhere I go, the lay people around me immediately take care of it, and they are all going smoothly.This is also the key, what is the key? Of course, you must first wish you are willing, you are willing, you know the benefits, it is healthy for the body, it can cure stomach problems, it can make you work hard for a lot of time, its benefits are too many, even In fact, if you really take the precepts, you should start from here. Don’t want to say that this is the precept that the novice monks must keep without eating during lunch. In fact, as long as it is a spiritual practitioner, it is helpful for the practice, it purifies the body and mind, and you say it is not nutritious. No! We are enough for one meal a day. You are really concerned about the Dharma. One meal a day is enough for nutrition. We still eat two meals, and there is excess nutrition, so don’t worry about nutrition.

Then why didn’t I hold it before? Originally, we monks want to hold it. I used to hold it very much. I really experienced this and all the benefits, including a lot of time to work hard, and the heart is relatively calm, because you have a lot of things in your stomach. If your mind is not clear, you will get drowsy, right? Then you skip a meal, and your heart doesn’t have to think about appetite too often, it will not develop your appetite, your five appetites will be more and more...it will affect each other , Your five desires will become more and more indifferent, you just hold one to the other five desires, you are an appetite!This famous food is sleeping!Reduce your appetite, then you will gradually stay away from the other five roots of hell, which will have a great impact, especially food, because we have to eat three meals a day. If you can reduce it immediately, you will benefit from it. You can see it right away.I did it myself before, and it did have a lot of benefits, but later because of a bad stomach, there were many reasons for the bad stomach. We have karma!Including that we are under a lot of pressure to study the scriptures, we pull seven times a day!There is no reason why the stomach and intestines are not bad, you are nervous!If you want to go to power, then you will have gastric ulcers, pressure gastric ulcers, and then you dare not hold it, but recently I encountered a great kind of knowledge, blessing me to help me successfully hold this precept, then I knew that, oh! If you don’t eat after lunch, you can cure stomach problems! It’s not that our previous illusion said that you have stomach patients and you can’t eat lunch and you can’t stop eating. That’s wrong, I’ve been on it for twenty days, and I always carry stomach medicine. , But I haven't taken half a stomach medicine, it's okay.

Then I heard it again, I heard that because we made the effort to do it, the related news came over. Someone told me that this was OK, some people healed this gastric ulcer and some other stomach diseases, but we were right to think about it. It also makes sense, because our body itself has the ability to heal!The body is just a small universe!Any cell cancer can be good for you. Why? All you need to do is to cleanse your mind and body, including if you eat one less meal, your stomach relaxes, and your workload is reduced. Then your other practices will gradually improve, and it will help. It works!The mind can be lighter and easier to work hard. Your mind will be purified slowly. When your mind is purified, will the cells in the stomach heal itself slowly, right? This is benign. Circulation is closely related and interlinked by a cause and condition, so it makes sense.When I heard it, I was shocked and yuck! We used to feel that we couldn't hold it because of stomach pain. We wanted to hold it and didn't dare to hold it, because it was so painful that we really couldn't do anything!Later, I found out, wow! It turned out to be completely the opposite, it can also treat your stomach problems, so I boldly suggested everyone, the family members, because you want...do you need your stomach, I hope you don’t want to be in good health. I don’t want to save money for a meal. You can cultivate more merits and blessings. You can even have a better life and live a better life, right? This is also true.If you are a true spiritual practitioner, you have to live a very light life. You have to become more and more frugal and don't rely on material things!Then if you don’t do it, then what do you say you are cultivating? I can’t see it, the practice is to look at it from here, to all matter and appetite, and then after your appetite is reduced, you sleep and you don’t need so much sleep naturally, you The spirit will get better and better, this can be seen immediately.So what about this cause, I also mention it by the way.

Why does it happen to encounter such a strong blessing power? Therefore, in all Buddhism talks about condition, condition is very important. The condition of "karma, condition and effect" is even more important. If you have cultivated a bad cause today, the condition is not mature yet, and this evil result is not. Before the meeting, then we have created a lot of karma now, and before the retribution is made, quickly flee to the bliss world. The evil result will not appear. It’s not that cause and effect don’t exist, but it has no predestined relationship. Well!It won’t cause evil consequences. I met the kinsmen and creditors over there. Hey! They are all very happy. Why? He has also become a good person. He won’t care about you, so there will be no evil consequences. The fate is The essential.So everyone has the opportunity to encounter good guiding thoughts. Once you turn this key point, when you are really ready, your retribution will be different. Don’t be attached to some previous views and all kinds of prejudices. You can cultivate as a person. Well!I formally obeyed him to learn the precepts that day.We all have to learn the precepts.But many times, especially when we are Buddhists, we are learning this kind of karma, and the learning is mainly based on the layman’s protection of the layman. The monk’s precepts of the Sangha are not easy to be adhered to in life, so there is no environmental karma. So full.Then I used to go to Hong Kong, Lantau Island, to get close to the Holy One Elder, and I also had such a period of practice, but I felt that it was not enough. As I just said, after we really decide to die, we will naturally want to practice more diligently. The males do not have this precept, so it protects us and prevents it. It’s not about murder and arson. Sin is not, it is to be prevented, but for our bhikshuni's precepts, it is very heavy. It seems that these precepts have not been properly maintained, but this is also a very common phenomenon, and I am not alone, because I did not maintain it!Because of stomach pain, he had suffered from it before, and he said, "This is the most basic."Oh! He won't give in for this!The old man will not give in!This is the most basic. I knew he was asking me. I said, "But what should I do if my stomach hurts?" I'm still struggling over there, and I'm still fighting for it. What should I do if my stomach hurts? It's really a trouble. I said, "What should I do?" He said, "Take stomach medicine for stomach pain." He said that, really.It suddenly occurred to me that there are some koans in this sutra. It will open up the fate, and the stomach will really be ruined.You are not stable. Sometimes you eat and sometimes don’t eat, but it’s easy to break it. So this is a problem if you don’t eat after lunch to succeed and go smoothly. I think that this time at noon can open up fate, then you should not deliberately open up fate. When there is really no alternative when you go out, you just have to eat this meal at noon and don’t eat it again. This is in line with our spirit of not eating after lunch, because we understand the causes and conditions of the precepts and we will know how. Go to "open the cover".

Everyone must cooperate with me, otherwise you are not a disciple of the Buddha, right? This attitude goes against the Buddha's precepts.Therefore, those who hold the precepts well must also understand the principles of Mahayana, at least to a certain level, before you can hold the precepts well, because too many situations require wisdom to judge and open upholding. Then I think if this is the way to hold it, you don't want it.Of course, don’t open the fate casually, why? Because we should eat regularly and quantitatively, it is better for the body and mind, so don’t open the fate casually. There is really no way when you go out. If the elderly do not approve of other people’s practice, Precepts are not a disciple of the Buddha. If you don’t adhere to the precepts, you are the outside world. The difference between Buddhism and the outside world is because of the precepts. When the old monk said that people were not encouraged to keep the precepts, the cause and condition at that time was that they were not true at all. For the person to be held, you will only kill him if you ask him to take the precepts. This is correct, right?You don’t have the heart to keep the precepts!Then you go to the surface to take a precept, pretend that I have taken the precept, I can wear a dress!Then this man quickly sent him to hell.Nian-nian's motivation! They are all compassionate sentient beings, but they have different roots and different teachings. If you are a person who wants to practice and practice diligently, is it possible to encourage you not to keep the precepts? Is it possible? It definitely doesn't make sense!Learning according to Buddhism must start with the Five Precepts!Do not leave the five precepts when you are a monk!So basically, the Five Precepts are just the basic standards of life!You are not qualified to talk about it as a spiritual practitioner. A true spiritual practitioner starts with the sixth degree. You need to be able to cultivate forbearance. If someone slaps you on the right cheek, you have to slap him on the left cheek. This is called cultivating.

The old monk Guangqin said that a layman asked him: "Old monk, how do we lay people practice?" The old monk said, "Looking to the Buddha in the laymen, and cultivating blessings!" What does it mean? Can it be easier? No, because there is no practice at all. It is too difficult. Without that cause, there are many karmic obstacles in the environment, and there is no way to endure all kinds of inequalities!Reasonable and unreasonable are testing you can't stand it!That’s not to talk about practice, you really can only cultivate blessings, you can only cultivate blessings. Of course, it’s better to practice diligently, but generally, it’s already amazing that he can only cultivate blessings. That’s it. A very good layman, who cultivates blessings and then recites Buddhism, right?So don’t misunderstand, use the words of the old monk as an excuse for slack, the old monk did not encourage us to keep the precepts!If you take the precepts, then you push all your sins to the old monk's side. Those who really teach the Fa will often be wronged.You obviously don't want to be diligent!right?If you want to be diligent, no one will hinder you from taking the precepts. 0k. This is a little idea. You need to clarify the facts first, and then it means what to do with the problem of relapse? How to solve it? It’s very simple. In fact, no one does not break the precept. Well, it has these facilities, what do you do if you break the five precepts? You must go to hell. That’s right, then we can’t break the precepts, so we must keep it well after we take the precepts. You met a couple from a past life and agreed to get married again in this life, but they didn’t get married and each had a marriage, but one day they met on the road, wow! There's no way for fate, what should you do if you are wronged by relatives and creditors? Right? Are there too many affair now? Then you will break the vows as soon as you commit a crime.In addition to adultery, you will ruin your family if you have an affair in this world...but you don’t necessarily have your family ruined. It must also be wives and ions. It’s very miserable. So this precept must be kept, and you must not encounter strangers, especially the Buddha. Disciple, you want to be a good one to show to others, what should you do? If a person has not received the precepts, because we have received the five precepts, there are twenty-five guardian gods, guardian gods. He is protected day and night at all times. Before we break the precepts, He will use his power of mind to bless us with his supernatural powers. If we fail to break the precepts, he will invisibly bless what you can't see. The Buddha power will also bless you. You have to be protected by all the Buddhas in the ten directions.

But there is a stage to remedy just when you have not finished this wicked thing, if you have already Those who have taken the precepts, you must know that you can’t break the precepts and you will go to hell, right? You have this alertness, what should you do? At this time, you can’t fight against this unfavorable relative and creditor, what should you do? There is a way , You don’t have to go to hell, that is, you give up the precept first, you can give up the precept first, you tell someone this precept that I want to give up now, after giving up, you will not break the precept, just say then this precept In the future, you can still ask for acceptance, and you will have many opportunities to ask for acceptance.For example, if you receive the five precepts, you have to give up one and you still have four remaining. If you don’t do this business for you, if you don’t do business for you, you are unhappy, right? What should you do if you give up to one person and there is no one around? Then you have to give up to the other person, what will happen to you? When you are finished, the other person may be disinterested, then recover You're sane!You have a time buffer, hey! No, it is very sinful for us to do this kind of thing now, it will affect the family children... etc., and even go to hell, which is terrible!Right? Woke up all of a sudden.

This is the blessing of the guardian god. Believe it or not, if you haven’t received the precepts, you don’t have this power. It is invisibly blessed by mind that you can’t break the precepts, you can’t break the precepts, and then you think of saying; yes, you can’t break the precepts. If you break the precepts, you will go to hell. If you really can’t do it, you will abandon the precepts. Even when you think of this, you will immediately disappear.Yes, I can’t right now, I can’t lose my mind, right? Then you don’t have to give up, you really have to give up. When filial piety is expanded to reach Consummation, you will become a Buddha.
