Today, we are very rare. We are about to hold a two-hour special lecture at Puli Jingchen Jingshe. Then, let me mention it here. Originally, we arranged a Buddhist one in the announcement. The main reason for this is that when I came to Puli Jie Xia Anju this year, I was introduced through the enthusiastic arrangement of the disciples of our teacher Guoqing Lawyer, so for the first time. I came here for a reason to form a dharma bond with our abbot and monk. So that time, our conversation was very corresponding, especially in the Dharma. I also benefited a lot from the practice. Then the monk is older. He was very polite. He said that he was going to retire. Then we will rely on our young people to promote some activities, so I suggested that I could come here for some reasons in the future and hold some activities. Then I didn't even think about it at the time, everyone. I was very happy, so I said that if I had a chance, I would have a chance to have a Buddha one.
Because for the past few years, I have been in Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia to bring the Anle Buddha with everyone in the past few years. At that time, we quickly settled on it, but after the Xia Anju knot, after the end, I observed carefully the causes and conditions here, and felt that in the end, I suggested to the monk that we should first change this Buddha to a lecture. Then this lecture will last for two hours, including half an hour of prayer. It also means that I pay equal attention to the solution, and I have taken care of it. Then why do you want to change it like this, because everyone knows that this is a deep mountain and a wild mountain. You can find this place, which is better than me. It is considered supernatural. Ah, in the past, our academy, especially the monk, also often advocated meditation. There is no activity here. The Emperor Liang is only held once a year. Most of them are also friends and relatives to join us. Come to the solemn dojo. Come today. You can see the cause and fate here.

If the practitioners who study the Pure Land Method will know, if we can build the confidence in the rebirth, then It can also be said that this life is about to become a Buddha, so our lecture today is also very extraordinary. It is truly able to build the faith of rebirth in the present moment to become a Buddha, so our Fa conference can be said to be very consummated. Generally speaking, the theme may not be so easy for fellow practitioners to come across due to predestined conditions. Therefore, we all work very hard together. Don’t just take this holiday mood. At the same time, we must set this goal in the present. Faith in death.
Well, let’s stop here, because our fellow practitioners have come here, and of course we have to give you the most extraordinary news. Yesterday I came here and met our monk Qing, lawyer Guo Qing, then he. . .The main purpose of this is to ask the monk to go to Muar, Malaysia in December next year to teach the three conversions and five precepts for fellow practitioners in Singapore, Muar, and West Malaysia and East Malaysia. Then the monk's consent was finally obtained this morning. I was busy with these things early in the morning. After getting the monk’s consent yesterday, I went to prepare some prayers today, and then I also prayed to the second master. In total, it was agreed that there will be six bhikkhu masters going to Malaysia to carry out this Dharma. Yes, for me, this can be said to be the biggest gain from this trip to Puli, so today I am in a very good mood. If there is a video here, we will announce the news first. The main topic of today’s topic is to talk to you about the thoughts of our second ancestor of Jingzong, Master Shandao. How can we build and build confidence in the current life? Of course it’s not based on my personal cultivation level. We are here with our old elder sister Ni. They have studied Buddhism and learned the Pure Land for many years. They are very diligent. I respect this very much. I believe that they also have this Pure Land. The statement is quite understandable, so some people may feel that there are many question marks as soon as they hear that they have to build confidence in the rebirth, because like I used to study the Pure Land Method for nearly XNUMX years, I seem to be quite young, but I It can be regarded as old cultivation, although it is old cultivation, twelve years before the beginning of school, there is indeed no news at all.
Some of our old classmates here know that they have heard of my lectures, so in fact, if this key door is not found, the key door to build confidence in the rebirth now, from my personal experience, there is indeed no news at all after twelve years of schooling, or even Many of our fellow practitioners have been in Buddhism for XNUMX, XNUMX, XNUMX or XNUMX years, and there is no news. Even as the age gets older, the karma of old, sick, and painful karma will appear before, and confidence will be lost. This phenomenon will happen. Therefore, it is very important to find the key door to enter the Pure Land. No matter what our current realm is, whether we are beginners or old cultivators, as long as we have not established the confidence in rebirth, then this topic is very important for us, then today How do we achieve this goal? Then you mainly have to follow the pure land thoughts of Master Shandao, the second ancestor of Jingzong, Master Shandao.
(XNUMX) The key to the achievement of the Pure Land Method
The so-called pure pure land thought, this pure land method, the so-called pure pure land thought has been spread in China for more than XNUMX years. Of our XNUMX ancestors of the Jingzong, only Master Yinguang can really come into contact with it more completely. Master Shandao’s works, there are also some of the previous ancestors, but they are all fragments. I have learned some fragments of Master Shandao. However, if you look closely at the works of other ancestors, most of them agree with Shandao’s thoughts, but there are no special ones. Explain to him that because he has his own sect or major practice, he has to develop and then finally return to the Pure Land. Therefore, in their works, we can't clearly see the thought of good guidance until Master Yinguang. clearly.
Master Yinguang called Master Shandao a monk, and a monk is a pro-teacher, that is, the teacher who follows him directly teaches him is a pro-teacher. This is the meaning of a monk. It does not mean that he is called a monk when he sees a monk. This is all wrong, so Of course, Master Yinguang is the thirteenth-generation ancestor of the Pure Land Sect, and fellow practitioners are no strangers. Most of us who have studied the Pure Land Method in modern times are also taught by Master Yi Yinguang, so why there is still no way to build confidence in the rebirth What?This is why we are not careful enough. If we look back at Master Yinguang's manuscripts, it is actually the thought of Master Shandao. Then, what is the difference and characteristic of his thought?Those of us who have read the history of Chinese Buddhism know it.
The history of Chinese Buddhism divides the practice of Pure Land Buddhism into three major schools. One is full of self-reliance, and more emphasis is on self-reliance. The so-called first ancestor Huiyuan, Huiyuanliu, and the other is Cishuliu, Cishuliu is the so-called self-reliance. , If you practice the good deeds, then another one is good diversion, which is all based on other powers. In fact, if we carefully read the copy of Master Yinguang, what he emphasizes is that we use all other powers, that is, we rely on all Buddhas. Li is a term that belongs to the genre of good diversion. It is all based on other powers and all Buddha powers to build confidence in the current rebirth. This concept should be clear to everyone. All three schools can be achieved, and they are all pure land methods. How dare we say that Master Huiyuan is wrong, we can’t say that the two powers of compassion are wrong, no, but it’s more difficult. Only by relying on his strength to guide the thoughts can we have the three roots of universal peace.
Regardless of whether you recite the name of the Buddha or not, whether your karma is heavy or not, anyone who is an old man or a child who is a beginner will encounter it at the end of life, and even those who die unexpectedly in a coma will all have the opportunity to go to the Pure Land. Only by relying on his power Only by practicing the pure Pure Land thought can achieve this goal. Therefore, the Pure Land Method alone has these three major schools. This is not my division. This is Oita in the history of Chinese Buddhism. There is such a different practice. XNUMX. Why did we cultivate? There is no news after reciting the Buddha for decades. It is not that we don’t need to work. Sometimes the harder you work, the more you will lose your confidence. Why?You don’t work hard, you don’t work hard, you don’t know where your realm is.
You have really worked hard before you know that your own skill is so bad. What do you think?In the past, we all looked at delusions, right?We recite the Buddha and see if there is less delusion while we recite. As a result, the more we recite, the more delusional thoughts become. It’s not that when we recite the Buddha, our mind becomes more and more calm, so this mind calms down. It turns out that there are so many delusions that we can see more clearly. We originally had so many delusions. In the past, our minds were not calm and could not see clearly. I don’t know that we have so many delusions. Then the longer we recite the Buddha, the more and more calm our minds become. See The clearer you are, then when you see clearly, you will find that you are miserable. Why do you still have delusions when you read, so the more you read, the less confidence you have. If you don’t believe it, you can spend a few more years. If you still have this cause, Before impermanence arrives, you can try to look forward to it. Therefore, if we are in the wrong direction and want to rely on this Buddha's name for the purpose of chanting delusions, then this belongs to the three schools of self-reliance, or it is Since his second force's practice is more difficult.
Basically, there is almost no human being able to achieve the current human roots, no matter how hard you work, so I found this Pure Land Method
The key to the achievement of the door is very important, and it can only rely on Master Shandao. He is the deity of Amitabha Buddha’s resurrection. This method is that he has made forty-eight aspirations to save sentient beings. Only he himself can speak the most clearly, right? ?The ancestors of other sects are great bodhisattvas, but they are not as high as the realm of Buddha. The ancestors of other sects have different positions. They interpret the Pure Land Method from the standpoint of his own denomination, even if he only borrows the Pure Land Method. Anyway, he has practiced meditation and tantra all his life. In his later years, he had to go back to chanting Buddhism. He only used the Pure Land Method as a fate. They did not really study the Pure Land Method deeply, so even though he An interpretation of the ancestor is also very good, very profound, but it is not the purest pure land cultivation method. It is too difficult to solve it, and only they can achieve it.
Those of us who are in the end of the Dharma have no way to achieve. We can only rely on the practice taught by Master Shandao and rely on his strength to find the key to entering the Pure Land, and to build confidence in rebirth right now. This situation is very gratifying. In the past one or two decades, it has prospered in Taiwan, and the same is true in the mainland. Our younger generation of masters, probably those under the age of XNUMX or XNUMX, mainly promote the idea of good guidance, but some people have the burden of inheriting the Dharma line. , So when I talked about the thought of Shandao, there was a bit of packaging. Unlike me, I didn’t have any burdens, so I could say it very clearly. Most of the thoughts are based on the thoughts of Master Shandao. Then I have said that At the end of the summer of this year, I saw Yizhi Enshiqing and Shang Guoqing several times and asked him for advice. He said that the old people's views on this kind of guidance are the same.
He said that they are all the same, I can understand this sentence, what does it mean that they are all the same?Nothing wrong, nothing wrong!He said that it’s all the same, it’s not wrong, that is, it is approved, he is approved, then since there is nothing wrong, why the effect is so bad, you must be able to listen to this, I can fully understand the meaning of the monk, and there is nothing wrong, that’s right. Master Shandao’s thoughts are recognized, so we must be the second ancestor of Jingzong, but why are they all the same, and we should talk about him again. Of course, there are some differences between him from a certain angle. I just said that the first person to be self-reliant and self-reliant is different from full reliance on other powers. Then this place is actually the most critical. Then again, I will say that the previous patriarch's comment is promoting the pure land. In the practice, the nouns he used were not the same as those explained by our master guide. Everyone is different in skill, and the nouns used in skill are different, but where are the same places?The same does not leave the precepts and mindfulness
The same is not to leave the precepts and conscientiousness, so many people in this place don't know how to say it, how to say it?Some people say, oops!With all the power of the Buddha, then don't keep the precepts, don't practice goodness, then it's a misunderstanding, then it's different, how about all the same?It is what we have to do. If it is taught by the patriarch, it is directly like the Taoist method, so you are asked to hold the precepts and practice concentration first, and then open up the wisdom of Prajna, so this Buddha name is also used as a method of cultivation. The stones are crushing the grass to suppress delusional thoughts. This method and this second practice is very difficult to practice, which belongs to the thoroughfare.But moreover, relying on our own strength, we don't have any strength, and our karma is still heavy, so even if we don't maintain the precepts well, don't say that you can achieve meditation by recitation, right?So there is no news. If we are according to the thoughts of Master Yishandao, we first seek to sense the blessings of the Buddha, that is to say, we first use other powers, how to sense this other power, the blessings of the Buddha power, after the induction, we will have power.
(XNUMX) The reborn Buddha Kingdom relies on the power of Buddha
We have methods. We rely on the guidance of the Buddha, the guidance of Amitabha’s forty-eight vows, the blessings of his willingness, and the inner production.
What is our behavioral response at this time after we have gained strength?The same is precept, concentration, wisdom, this same place, the monk said is actually here, but the difference is that if we guide our thoughts according to kindness, we first feel the blessings of the Buddha, first establish the confidence in the departed life, and then we have the strength and joy. Rejoice, be willing to diligently cut off evil and cultivate goodness, and practice precepts and wisdom. Of course, the results will be different, and the results will differ between heaven and earth. Is that clear?So we are all relying on his efforts to study the Pure Land Method. It’s not like relying on the Buddha. Anyway, I just need to recite the Buddha. I don’t want to practice precepts. I don’t need to practice meditation. I don’t want to open up wisdom. It's wrong, even if some people don't believe in cause and effect to continue to cause evil, then this is completely wrong.
There is a record in the manuscript of Master Yinguang. Like many of our veteran fellow practitioners, they are worried that they cannot recite the Buddha's name well. This is to rely on self-reliance from their own point of view or rely on the two forces of self and others, and there will be one Concepts worry about how well they recite the Buddha's name?If I have been thinking about this problem all my life, then there will be one record in it, there is one. . .Master Yinguang has a disciple. He went to Mount Putuo to visit Master Yinguang. He reported to Master Yinguang that he had been reciting a Buddha. He said that at that time he said that he had a serious illness a year ago and then fell ill. He was almost dead by vomiting blood. He recalled the scene at that time. He reported to Master Yinguang that he was not afraid at all, not at all, and his heart was not panicked and very stable. He just thought about it when he heard it. Not bad, it's good to read it this way.
But then he told Master Yinguang again, oops!It's a pity that I didn't recite the Buddha well. I haven't recite the Buddha name well. Do many old fellow practitioners feel this way? This kind of mood makes us feel at ease, right?I chanted it for a long time, as if the Buddha's name hadn't read him well, but you know how Master Yinguang responded to him?Scold him, yell at him, what do you mean by not reading?Ten thoughts should be reborn.Wow!This sentence was like a thunderbolt from the blue sky, as if he was enlightened right now, so he scolded him and said, "If you do this, you will have to go to the West. If you have this kind of thought, you can't go to rebirth, you can't go to the West, what does it mean?"It doesn’t depend on whether we recite well or not, ten thoughts should be reborn. This is a thought that is based on the power of Buddhism. The master Yinguang’s manuscripts are all based on Buddhism. These four characters appear in many places. They are very clear. Relying on the power of Buddha, do you still care about how well you recite the Buddha's name?
Even if we are able to chant the Buddha today, it is the blessing of the Buddha. It’s just that we don’t know about it. We don’t want to lay down our burdens and rely on the Buddha with peace of mind. As long as we are willing to put all our doubts and worries down. , Reliance of peace of mind, relying solely on the power of Buddha, everything is solved, you can now build confidence in rebirth, the key is this place, whether you can believe in Buddha, this letter of faith is the most difficult, true faith You can rely on it. Forty-eight wishes are true. You are almost ready to read them. Why haven’t you really installed it in your heart? That faith can’t be born? You haven’t really put these words into your heart. Put the text in your heart. If you don't really digest it and don't understand it, the person who understands will decide to die right away, without a little doubt.
Are you still afraid that when you die, Amitabha overslept and forgot to pick you up, or what happened?It's impossible. Amitabha Buddha has all kinds of magical powers. Now we only need to think about it. According to the scriptures, we only need to believe and do. Master Huiyi also says that death depends on whether we believe in aspirations. It is so clear that as long as there is faith and aspiration, then We are now tempted to recite Amitabha Buddha, do you know?Of course you know, so He was ready to pick us up at any time, but the time hasn’t arrived yet, and he’s still waiting next to him, oh!With such a simple truth, people who really have deep roots of goodness, as the Amitabha Sutra says, must not be born in another country by virtue of less good roots and destiny. He did not say that there are other conditions. You have to be vigilant, as long as you have good roots and destiny. , You can believe that it is not solved right now, what else? Everyone likes to think of some practice as the higher the talk, the more mysterious, the more accomplished, and the more wrong.
Ordinary people, what achievements can we talk about, the karma has not been eliminated, and what achievements can we talk about? When we have cultivated for a whole life while our karma is still there, we have no merits of pure mind, and we are not qualified to rebirth in the Buddha kingdom. So we have to become a Buddha first, the only way, the only possibility is to rely on the power of the Buddha's wishes, Amitabha's forty-eight wishes, right?So the key is whether we can rely on Amitabha’s forty-eight vows and whether we can believe that we are willing to make a vow and die, it is as simple as that. If you can’t take it straight in this place, you have to go around it again. Think about other things, think of my karma so heavy, think of me not chanting Buddha well, think of me, wow!Then you have gone too far, deviated from this important gate again, established the important gate of rebirth, this life reincarnated the important gate of Buddha, you ran away, you were already at the gate, right?Don't look for those very profound and profound truths, or the practice, that is asking for trouble.
Everyone should know that the Pure Land Method is a special method. It is not a general method of thoroughfare. It is not a method that ordinary ordinary people can understand. It is a method that even the Bodhisattva of Waiting for Enlightenment cannot understand. It is noble to understand the Bodhisattva of Waiting for Enlightenment. How do we think? How to study, so it really depends on our good roots. As long as we can bear it straight, we believe and are willing to believe that the Buddha will be completed immediately. There is nothing that is not complete. Then the next day is to wait for the birth of a Buddha, you believe Don't believe me?Believe it!Most of our old fellow practitioners believed it, and if you didn’t believe me, I was hit by the incense stick, but we still have two distinguished guests today, our teacher and father, old seniors, we knew each other in the past. Yes, so I came here to cheer today. It is also here. The academy is also in Puli. I believe they have a lot of experience in recitation. There are many monks in Puli, and there may be more monks than householders. They all have a considerable experience in their own practice.
(XNUMX) Really believe in life and death, wishing to recite the Buddha will surely be alive
But in fact, if you don’t have the chance to get in touch with Master Shandao’s teachings, it’s really difficult to build confidence in the death. So our gathering today is also very rare. It can be said that it’s the Buddhahood meeting, and everyone who comes will have a share. Because our method is all based on the power of Buddha, not on the power of my own little mage, I have no power at all, and the karma is very heavy, so the Amitabha Buddha loves me very much and is the first to save me, just like us If you have a child, the parent’s heart for the child is equal, and the Buddha’s heart is equal, but if one of our children is very sick and has serious karma, how do you feel? ?We must take care of him first and save him first. This is what the scripture tells us. We are the main scriptures of the Pure Land Three Classics, telling us that all beings of the five evils and ten evils can be reborn, even those of the three evil ways, we His karma is not as severe as the beings of the Three Evil Paths. They can all be reborn. Why can't we be reborn?
If you cannot die, there is only one reason, that is, you think you cannot die, or you are unwilling to make a wish, you don’t want to believe, you don’t want to make a wish, then you make a wish and you believe, but you have karma and you don’t understand the truth. If you think that you can’t rebirth yourself, then you really can’t rebirth, because the ten thousand dharma is created by the mind. If you want to be unable to rebirth, you will really want to become it for you. This is a mental power of our beings, and it is also incredible. right?So thinking about it this way, it’s useless for the Buddha to be anxious over there. His aspiration has been fulfilled ten kalpas ago. He can’t force you, you always. . .The mental strength of sentient beings has been thinking about not being able to be reborn, that I cannot be reborn, I am fighting against the power of the Buddha, and cannot respond to his blessings, so I really cannot be reborn.
The Buddha’s ability is perfect and omnipotent, but there is one thing he cannot, that is, he cannot force sentient beings, free will, so there must be a condition, you must believe that you are willing to go, so that the Buddha can lead you. This is the only condition, and it can also be said to be unconditional, because unconditional means that we all beings don’t have to work hard at all. It’s not about cultivating the five precepts and ten virtues, and it’s not that you have to recite the Buddha well or not. From this The angle is completely unconditional. As long as we are willing to rely on the blessing of the Buddha, the unconditional blessing of the forty-eight vows, when the time comes, we will be able to die. Then what should we do before we die during this period of time?This is also very important, because a person who truly aspires and truly believes that he is willing to die, if your behavior has not changed, you still want to create five desires and six dusts, then your faith and aspirations are not true.

At this time, your heart and nature are just like the forty-eight vows, soft touch. Touch the light and be happy, your heart is soft, you will naturally be willing to break the evil and cultivate the good, and there will be this kind of change.
Well, at this time, it’s the same as what the Qing monk said. At this time, it’s a step-by-step approach, precept, concentration, wisdom, blessing and wisdom, just like the general path of meditation, and there is no difference in behavior. It does not mean that we make a wish to live. People don’t need to observe the precepts to recite the Buddha, nor do they diligently. Then there is a problem. Then you don’t have your share in your life. You can’t deceive yourself and others. When the time comes, don’t you have to rely on the power of the Buddha?The problem is that your heart is not really aspiring to go, the Buddha knows it, so the key to real accomplishment in our chanting of Buddhism is just like what the Patriarch says in the great virtues. It is often mentioned that the sutras also say that people who recite the Buddha must truly live and die. Bodhicitta, with the name of conviction and willingness to cling to, we truly understood this sentence and did it. Don't say that we will become a Buddha in this life, we are actually liberated now.
Right now, just like what Zen Master said, when you recite the Buddha, it is when you are a Buddha, it is when you are living. Wow!This realm is even higher. This master of good guidance seldom talks about the mysticism, but Zen Master has said that this is when we truly recite the Buddha into this realm, and when we build confidence in rebirth, we have this Buddha name right now. Reading is very powerful, because it is very confident, so when you recite the Buddha, you are becoming a Buddha, and you are also saving sentient beings. This is from the fruit ground, which is a fact, but it is difficult for us to understand it at a glance. Oh!I recite the name of the Buddha, why I am now becoming a Buddha, and I am still saving sentient beings. If I really want to talk about this realm in detail, there may be another kind of lecture, and many sentient beings do not understand it. Ah, when we have the right chance, we will come again, and we will study together again, but what the Patriarch's Great Virtue tells us, absolutely don't doubt, listen to him first.
The point is that we can’t realize it because we still don’t understand what it means to send bodhicitta, hold the name with a deep belief in aspirations, to the power of this Buddha’s name, we can’t get this power, we can’t read this effect, we don’t understand. We recite this Buddha's name, so we should not practise miscellaneous practices when we recite the Buddha. We should also practice this and that, and we should go deep into these few sentences and learn how to make this bodhicitta really initiate, and for life and death Life and death, if you come to recite the Buddha's name only for the sake of wealth, children, and blessings, you can also get your own benefits. In the forty-eight vows, all sentient beings are taken care of, and there are also those who ask for blessings. Buddha Amitabha also helps you, but in this way, there is no way to truly recite this Buddha's name. If you really want to express the bodhicitta for life and death, and hold this name with deep faith, then you will be able to develop this power. Open.

What is the title of clinging? This is to develop bodhicitta and to believe in aspirations. We old fellow practitioners have experienced a lot. How to hold the title of clinging?Attachment is attachment. Do we use attachments to recite this name?Everyone carefully, we must continue to experience this in detail. This is what we need to learn when reciting the Buddha's name. Most people chant with their mouths and have no feelings in their hearts. According to reason, they can't reciting power, and they are obsessed with clinging. We usually do. What are you clinging to?We are obsessed with this object of love, and how much money I want to earn. We can understand this kind of attachment, and we have no sense of attachment to Buddha's name, so we have to change it now and let us go on our own. Think about it and guess, how we usually cling to these five desires and six things in the world, pay attention to that habit a little bit, to remember, and then use this trick to hold the famous name, you will know how to recite the Buddha. .
What does this obsession look like?It seems to be able to achieve continuity of thoughts and thoughts, without interruption, if you are attached to Him, of course you will not want to let go of your thoughts, and you don’t want to pass it for a moment. This is called the title of clinging, to be like this. So if we can really do this, then we don’t have any delusions at all, and there is no time for delusions, how can we do it?I use a very simple method. I encourage everyone to do it. It is easy to be continuous and uninterrupted. If we rely on ourselves, alas!It’s hard and tiring to practice Kungfu deliberately, but one method is very simple. We now advocate counting Buddhism. We all have this counter to connect with fellow practitioners. It looks very simple and it doesn’t take time. You don’t have to deliberately. Arrange the time for morning classes.
Sometimes you are home cultivators, or children or elderly people, and you are not well connected in many ways, so you can’t deliberately do your homework. Then we can use this fragmented time and hold this counter to count the Buddha at any time. This way Well, you don’t need to deliberately arrange time, and it’s very easy to do, and there is no pressure. You don’t have to recite as many Buddha titles a day. You can recite when you have time. You will develop a habit without knowing it. It may be one week or half a week. Habits are formed by the month. People have habitualities. If we want to be lazy, we will be able to form habit quickly. You see what we call Monday syndrome. We only go to play on the second day of the week, and come back to play crazy. Now, wow!I don't want to go to work on Monday, right?The inertia was completed in two days.

If we count and settle again, we can recite the Buddha by ourselves, maybe tens of thousands. If we integrate into the masses to recite the Buddha and go back and forth together, it will be more meaningful and more powerful, and it’s very simple to do. We don’t think we are doing it. I didn’t deliberately do morning and evening classes and then practice Kungfu. Of course, you can also do morning and evening classes when you have time. We are talking about the worst case. You can count all the time you spend walking, eating, delusional, waiting for the car, waiting for people, and even taking a shower, taking a shower, or going to the toilet. You don't think you're doing your homework, and you won't be boring to pass the time, and you don't have the opportunity to cause evil and delusion. You see too many benefits.
If you have nothing to do, you will go into a disaster, right?Then the mood will fluctuate, either happy or sad, angry, or even bored in many cases, right? If you are bored, you want to eat and where you want to go out, your heart will not calm down. Then we will develop a habit. , Keep the counter at hand at any time. Don’t underestimate this. Many people like to read the Dajing Dajing in practice. They like to meditate and do styles. Those who like to take the offerings are doing some secret methods. They have been doing it for a long time. Has anything really been repaired?It’s not that easy. It’s not as easy as our Pure Land Method at any time. It’s simple and easy. We didn’t cultivate anything deliberately, but we were doing Buddha things without knowing it. You are doing what the Buddha is doing, and every Buddha's name is doing the Buddha right now.
Do we want to be a Buddha? You can be a Buddha just by chanting the name of the Buddha. You are still an ordinary man after you meditate for a long time in other meditations. You haven't entered the beginner class yet, and you haven't entered the junior class yet. You still pay for the second and third levels. There is no way to ascend, only by reciting the name of the Buddha. You are now acting as a Buddha, and you are even saving sentient beings. This is a fact. Therefore, our fellow practitioners are really people with good roots and merits. Actually, right now, this treasure is in our hands. You don’t use it. You are still looking for the Dharma out of your mind. You can look for it here and there. Practice is to pursue a kind of spiritual practice. Appearance is obsessed with the expression of a spiritual practice. There is no way to achieve this. It wastes time. It is no different from the entertainment in the world. It is just that the entertainment is a little higher and the type of entertainment is a little higher. Look. It looks a lot like spiritual practice. A true spiritual practitioner is honest.
(XNUMX) Feel the blessings of the Buddha's power and naturally rejoice in reciting the Buddha
In this period of the end of the Dharma, only honest people are truly cultivating people. Then, if you use this counting method to recite the Buddha, you can truly hold the title. Of course, we have a prerequisite for holding the title, the good guidance just talked about. What is the characteristic of thinking? He first guides us to build confidence in rebirth and rely on the power of Buddha. After relying on the power of Buddha wholeheartedly, we will naturally adhere to the name and we are naturally willing to do this, because we have confidence in the rebirth. , I feel grateful for the Buddha’s salvation. All the troubles and burdens of my life have been put down. In other words, I have nothing to do, and there is no trouble to live well. I have to go to the Buddha, only when I have time to recite the Buddha, and then stop the evil and cultivate the good. Report the Buddha's grace, and there is no pressure for all these.
There is no pressure to do it, and it is natural to do as much as you want, because rebirth does not depend on these conditions. In rebirth, you can only believe and only have the power of willingness, and the others are gone. Therefore, we do not have any pressure to do these chanting, practicing blessings, and breaking evil, and do I am very happy, and I can prove it myself. After I established my faith in death about seven or eight years ago, I like to play the seventh Buddha very much. Our teacher, father, she, when she wakes up, we can ask her, she is the seventh Buddha. She has been sleeping all the time. It’s not because she came to listen to the scriptures today. No one has ever been asleep during my lectures. It’s an old man. The physical strength is really different, but they are still so diligent. I’m reciting the Buddha and we are acquainted with the Seven Buddhas. Yes, I also took the first place among the top three. I'm sorry that I read the first place. I read it very joyfully. I read it differently. In the first twelve years and the twelve years before school, I heard that I was hitting the Seventh Buddha. I started to feel a little stomachache and nervous, but you couldn't work harder, and then because I knew very well that I had to lie down for another seven days when I came back in seven days.
It was very painful for the seven days to go to Buddha. I usually sleep in the whole shop, and the environment is different from usual. The neighbors on the left and right snorting, and there are various chorus of symphony, and I can’t sleep well at night after seven days. , Then, when chanting Buddha during the day, I tried my best to see if my delusions were a little bit less. The spirit is under tension and pressure, and the kind of mind that wants something is very tired, very tired and consumes energy. So I can figure it out. There must be no news after this Buddha Qi chanting. Few people say that this person likes to play the Buddha Qi. Two years ago last year, our Guoqing monk's Buddha Qi, I now like to participate in the Guoqing monk the most. The seventh of the Buddha is the most strict, but the stricter we are, the more we rejoice, because when we have chanted the Buddha to the taste of the Dharma, the stricter the outside environment is, no one will interfere with us and we are very happy, but other practitioners are different.
If you still use the mood of practicing Kungfu, we remember that the monk at Wuguang Jingshe took the Buddha Seven almost every year. At the end of this period, Master Weina asked, we were present with almost two hundred participants, one More than a hundred laymen, ask them what they say?Are you happy to fight Buddha Qikai?If you want to stay next time, please raise your hands. There are not a dozen people, not a few people raise their hands. Everyone reads very hard. Of course, they are also in good spirits. I have to come after such hard work. Doesn’t it mean that our monk Guoqing’s I have a lot of stress and I am still willing to come to study intensively, but after listening to it for seven days, everyone has to go home to sleep and stay, really few people raise their hands, but if you really recite the Buddha I'm very happy. For us, these seven days are on vacation. There is no interference at all. You see, it is really a great blessing.
In such a solemn Three Treasure Hall, so many people in Daliao cook food for us hard, Xingtang will prepare food for you, and no one will come to talk to you. Some people talk about right and wrong and are embarrassed if they don’t listen. I can’t push it away, and I’ll run into kinsmen and creditors wherever we go, but there are no such obstacles among the seven Buddhas, so we can recite the Buddha with peace of mind. Therefore, we chant the true key of Buddhism, where is the key to building confidence in rebirth? Instead of practicing Kungfu, we must first find a way to feel the blessings of the Buddha, and get the blessings of Amitabha with the Three Jewels. We will naturally recite the Buddha with joy, break the evil and cultivate the good, so how do we feel?One key is very important. We often say one sentence, hear one sentence, and look back.
Normally we recite the Buddha and listen to the teachings of the Pure Land Method. What aspect do we think about?Thinking about myself, thinking about whether my delusions were a little less when I was chanting Buddhism, thinking about whether I hoped to be saved when I was watching the explanation of the XNUMX wishes, and whether I could die or not, my current life How is Kung Fu?It's me, me, am I right?Then you have been studying this way for XNUMX to XNUMX years, and what you are paying attention to is still on my side, and I am still very strange to Amitabha, right?So we have to look back now. Looking back is the shore. From now on, we listen to the classics of the Pure Land Method. The same content, we don’t need to change. The same is the Buddha's name and the explanation of the Pure Land Method. No matter which master teaches it, You all turn around and understand from the standpoint of Amitabha.
Why did Amitabha Buddha talk about these scriptures, why did he make these vows, what kind of Buddha is Amitabha, and what is his relationship with us?When we look back and think about Amitabha, you will become familiar with Amitabha every day. Then when you become more familiar with Amitabha every day, it is impossible for you not to feel it. It depends on your good roots. It’s shallow and deep, and some people feel deeply moved when they have established good roots right now. They feel so moved. Suddenly I feel that Amitabha has entered my heart. Suddenly, I heard a scripture or even just a Buddha's name. With a soft and compassionate voice, suddenly there is a vibration in your heart and you go in, and the blessings of Buddha power go in, and you will graduate right now, just a feeling.
(XNUMX) According to the Eighteenth Aspiration, we will rebirth and go straight to the retribution of the Buddha's power
Slowly and slowly increase your thoughts from that moment, the same is in this direction, keep listening to the scriptures, keep chanting the Buddha, and the relationship between the growth of mindfulness and Amitabha Buddha, then there is no reason for you to have no faith in your rebirth, you have already established confidence right now It just grows in thoughts, so once this method builds confidence in the rebirth, it will not turn back at the moment. This result is incredible, and there is also a concept, this master of good guidance tells us that we will go straight into retribution once we die. Earth, the real report of the Tiantai Sect is the solemn land. The other ancestors of the Pure Land Sect told us that we ordinarily lived in the land of the sages at most. The Tiantai Sect ruled that there are four earths in the world of bliss. The lowest floor of the sages live together in the land, and then it is convenient to go up. There is surplus land. This is where the Arahant sage lives, and then go up to the Great Bodhisattva to report the solemn earth, and then go up to the Everlasting Light Land, where the Buddha lives, and the land where the Buddha lives. This is the analytical view of the patriarch of the Tiantai Sect. In terms of terminology, in our Pure Land Method, if Master Yishandao relies entirely on the power of the Buddha, Yixin is willing to go to the world of bliss, and go straight into the surpassing taste of the land, then you can say whether they have made any mistakes, and they have not made any mistakes.
There is another type of sentient beings, who are not those who rebirth based on the eighteen aspirations and rely on the power of the Buddha, they will fall into the taste, and they can be reborn as if they are rebirth, but the retribution is not so extraordinary. There are three blessings of clean karma in the scriptures, if it is. . .This master of good guidance has explained clearly. This is now about the question of taste. If we usually practice the Pure Land method according to the thought of good guidance, all of them will be reincarnated, and the Guanyin Bodhisattva lives in retribution. , The Great Bodhisattva lives, and the flower blooms to see the Buddha as soon as he goes. Look at the Amitabha Sutra, it’s mostly a life-long remedy. Most of them are waiting for enlightenment Bodhisattvas, and once they go, they must show three non-returns. The three non-retreats are the Earth Store Bodhisattva, the Bodhisattva above seven or eight degrees. The Amitabha Sutra says, how could it be possible to just live in the land of the common sages? That is the Great Bodhisattva. If the Earth Store Bodhisattva is the Great Bodhisattva, it must be a real retribution. Solemn earth.
Then if the root of goodness is not so deep, there is no way to sense the blessings of Amitabha Buddha into the heart. I am very touched and very touched.
Believe in Amitabha’s feeling of being very close, and have no doubts about Amitabha’s forty-eight vows, and are willing to lean on him. If there is no way to feel people in this state, then you can die as you practice the Three Blessings, but there is The level of taste depends on the level of your own cultivation. Then the master of good guidance talks about the three grades of the previous generation. He said this. When encountering the three blessings of the Mahayana method, it is to develop the bodhicitta, believe in karma, read The person who chants Mahayana and persuades to proceed, this one is more mindful. Most of us Chinese have encountered it. Most of us practice the Mahayana method, so the mind is very mindful. The first prerequisite is to develop bodhicitta. Being altruistic is not just chanting Buddha for oneself, but for all sentient beings, and to save sentient beings with aspirations in the future. This mind is relatively large.
Then we. . .So if we encounter Mahayana, we will also develop Bodhicitta, and we also believe in causal reading of Mahayana. You see, the Pure Land Sutras are all Mahayana sutras, so we have a share in the three products of the previous generations, wow!Just listen to this, wow!It’s another surprise, I’ve always wanted to say, wow!If I can die in the next generation, I will be Amitabha, right?Actually, it’s still very difficult for the next generation to rebirth. The next generation’s rebirth is five evils and ten evils. The three grades of the next generation in the Buddhist scriptures say that we are not that evil, so here we will study carefully. It’s clear that we all have the opportunity for the third rank of the previous generations. If we say that in cultivating the Three Blessings, this is Master Shandao talking about encountering the Mahayana method and encountering the Mahayana method. It means that the middle generation has passed away, and the middle generation has three grades, so it is equivalent to the precepts of the three blessings, and the prestige of the three-conversion bodhisattva.
Look at us who generally practice the precepts and recite the Buddha, even if you don’t feel the blessings, and if you are in touch with Amitabha, you honestly receive the three conversions and the five precepts. This full commandment includes a monk at home. It depends on your identity. A standard of your own precepts. If you don’t violate the prestige, you should try your best to keep it to Consummation. With such a precept, go back and forth, and then believe in the wish to survive, believe in the Buddha to survive. Such people can be high-grade or middle-grade. Those two grades, the upper-level and the middle-level middle-level students, what about the middle-level lower-level people?Cultivating the blessings of the world, look at the good people in the world. He usually didn’t follow us to reciting the Buddha, nor did he practice the precepts, or even receive the three refuges. Then he is this person at home, who is very kind and filial to his parents. I am respectful to teachers at school, and I am also very compassionate to all living beings outside. Kindness does not kill, the ten good karma is the four blessings, filial piety to parents, pay attention to the teacher, be kind and compassionate and do not kill the ten good karma, and then do whatever you want. Before his death, this kind of person, as long as he encounters Buddhism for a reason, persuade him to recite Buddhism to live in the blissful world. Such a person has not converted in his life, and has never heard of Buddhism, but you tell him there is this way. Let's go, he is willing to go. At least the middle-ranking child of the middle-aged generation. Then you think we are better than him, right?We are not so low grade, we are even higher, then this middle-aged person is already pretty good.
As for the third rank of the lower generations, they are the ones who cause evil. This Scripture says very clearly, so we, those who really cultivate the Mahayana Pure Land method, all have a share of the third rank of the upper generations. Don’t underestimate yourself. This is what Master Shandao told us, and even what we just said, according to the eighteen vows, XNUMX% of the power of the Buddha, I think of ways to interact with Amitabha, and feel the Daoism at the moment. If you want to be moved, you must be moved. Such people are out of taste. , There are no seniors, middle-ages, and lower-levels. They just go straight to the surpassing taste. It’s as simple as that, and you don’t have to rely on self-cultivation of precepts, concentration and wisdom. We only need to follow the right method. If we want to go in, we need to find a way to follow Amitabha. Daojiao, how do you feel it?It’s what I just said about learning about Amitabha through chanting, through mindfulness, and understanding Amitabha’s relationship with us, as well as the merits of this Buddha name. Forget about yourself, turn your head back and lean on it for life, and learn the Pure Land in this direction. Dharma, just before you know it, you suddenly feel the Dao friendship. This method is correct. It is possible for anyone, children, and old bodhisattvas. No You must be smarter and learn as many classics as you are sincere.
Have you turned your head back to find the right direction, start to pay attention to Amitabha, pay attention to reciting this Buddha name with your heart, and then truly practice the Pure Land Method with a sincere and eager heart, right now and sincerely, then you will soon Inspired by Dao Jiao, such a person is able to build confidence in the rebirth right now, and at the time of rebirth, he is transcendental and straight into the retribution. This is what the Master Shandao told us, not like other patriarchs. Almost all of our sentient beings The deceased can only live together in the land of the lowest floor, where the saints live together, wow!We feel so happy when we hear this. It turns out that we are not ordinary people. We will have heavy karma at the end of our life, alas!It is also the last samurai. We are going to be a great bodhisattva soon, and everyone has a share, and the heavier the karma, the more share, wow!Just by hearing this, as long as you believe it, you will be relieved, your whole faith will be lifted up, and you will be very happy when you learn the Pure Land Method.

You will think how to recite the Buddha every day, the more you recite, the harder you will get, and then in the end you will think, alas!It's miserable, even this so-called simplest, the simplest practice in Buddhism, I can't do it. If it's miserable, it's better to die. There is no way to go, alas!I used to cultivate until I reached such a dead end. I almost hit the wall when I chanted in retreat and recanted the Buddha. The more I thought about it, the more I lost confidence. We were still young, and what to do when we grow old. Hope, what should I do when I get old?Therefore, we must go on the right path. Master Shandao’s teachings set the ancient and modern times, that is, Amitabha’s deity will re-incarnate as Master Shandao in the aspiration to correct the practice of this pure land thought explained by other patriarchs and great bodhisattvas. They are not talking about it. It's wrong, but it's not enough to say that it's not pure enough, and it's too difficult to teach the Pure Land Method, so only a part of people can achieve it.
We can’t say that he’s wrong. The Tiantai Sect’s four soils are also okay, but that’s according to their practice. If you practice your precepts, concentration and wisdom, then of course you will have a high or low grade. , Of course, a little bit of merit dedication, at most it is also in the land where the sages live together. They did not make a mistake. We cannot say that they are wrong, but that is not the practice of a pure land special method opened by the real Amitabha. The so-called special method is There is no need to cultivate at all. It’s because we can’t achieve it in our own practice, so Buddha Shakyamuni also told us that all beings in the end of the Dharma can only be accomplished by cultivating the Pure Land Method, and this Pure Land Method is taught by the Master Master and is pure and pure. It is possible for everyone to achieve the Pure Land Method. We must figure out this place.
Wait a moment to worship a vow, wait a moment to worship a vow, this vow is also a vow that we have to lead fellow practitioners to follow Amitabha Buddha according to the pure pure land practice method. This direction is a private practice method, just like us. go with. . .This is one of our joint practice programs in the Buddha One. Our entire Buddha One training program is called Anle Buddha One. This arrangement is very special but has its own meaning. Generally, we start early when we play Buddha Seven. If you don’t stop at night, even don’t even talk about the teachings, or even chant the sutras, you just chant a Buddhist name, and you’ve been chanting this Buddhist name from morning to night. It’s a very hard feeling. We’re doing our best to practice Kungfu, but we Buddha One, Anle Buddha One, when you hear the word Anle, you will know that you are very stable and happy. It is very easy to fight Buddha One. This is completely different from the concept of practicing the Pure Land Journey. Then this has our intentions. Yes, because our goal is not to practice Kungfu on our own. It doesn't matter what we do here, it doesn't matter. No matter how heavy karma, no matter how bad the Buddha's name recites, and no matter how many delusions, it doesn't matter. This is not the key to whether we can die.
The key to rebirth is to go back and think about interacting with Amitabha, think of a way to interact with Amitabha, know Amitabha, and feel intimacy with him. Therefore, our Buddha One arrangement is arranged in this direction, so we The morning and evening of the Buddha is to recite an Amitabha Sutra each morning and evening. You have never participated in the joint practice of the Buddha One or the Seventh Buddha. There are so many chanting Amitabha Sutras, at most the first one on the first day of incense chanting an Amitabha Sutra. After that, there is no more. Understanding, the most important thing is that we understand the superior environment of the Paradise of Bliss. There is no object in this world, no one wants to listen to us, right?Both parents think you are so noisy, and both parents think the child is too noisy. Don't tell me that you shut up. I have been bored for a day today, and I have been tired from work for a day, right?My children have no patience to listen anymore. Who else wants to talk to whom we can talk to? Parents are not willing to listen to us complaining, very pitiful, right, but who else can say that Amitabha is the real great father , He is around us at any time, but we don’t know, then each of us needs such an object to pour out.

One hundred points, sixty points for crying, and those who don’t cry will fail. You’re in the mood right now, you’ve already started to feel Dao friendship, you want to practice this, this is the kung fu we want to practice, we also want to practice kung fu is to practice this kung fu, not to worry about delusions more or less.
We also need to practice Kungfu, to strengthen our faith, to strengthen our desire, to strengthen the induction and communication with Amitabha Buddha, so that we can receive the blessing of Amitabha Buddha, enter our hearts, and then we will come in. If we have the power to start a new life, reincarnate, cut off evil, cultivate good, diligently practice the precepts and recite the Buddha, we can truly talk about practice. If our karma is not eliminated, there is no strength, and we can’t do it, so we pray that this group practice is our lead. To build confidence in rebirth is a very important practice, then what kind of worship should be done during worship?Wait a minute, we will use the tune of the precepts. If the practitioners who have received the precepts are no strangers to this tune, but they will all use the name of Shakyamuni Buddha or other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. After changing it, Nan Wuji Le’s loving father, Amitabha, we will just chant this sentence, this is our deity, we will call this Buddha name wholeheartedly.

You will not be spared a minute, and you will pay attention to Amitabha. Talk and associate with Him, as you feel right now.
When you are distracted, you waste time. Don’t pay attention to others. It’s not your business whether they cry too badly. Don’t cry too badly. You have to control it. But oh today because of the daytime, I am. . .It’s not a big and very high requirement. It’s okay. You can just follow your own current state. Of course you can’t finish it all at once, but if you can cry for half an hour, you will feel refreshed. You have to work hard. This is the homework you have to do deliberately. The harder you need to do, the more you work hard to achieve this goal, it means The more diligent you are, the more obvious your results will be. How obvious? Get closer to Amitabha. Maybe you will have a feeling in your heart right now, which means you don’t know why. If you can’t say you just believe in Amitabha. This is a feeling. You just believe in Him. In fact, you can’t explain the truth in the Pure Land Method. No one can explain it clearly. No matter how mysterious and subtle what his ancestor said, he can’t talk about that point, because this is The realm that only Buddha and Buddha can know, how can it be said that it is unbelievable, so what is the key to entering?Attentive.
Use our good roots to experience and feel, and suddenly we catch a feeling, that is, I really believe, I believe in the existence of Buddha Amitabha. He is right by my side, right in our hearts, just like the forty-eight wishes. The wishes in it are true, and the content in it is facts. I really believe that if you want to feel this way and have this kind of feeling, then how to arise, of course not leave our Pure Land Three Sutras. Listening to the scriptures, reciting the Buddha, and the direction I just talked about. The direction of thinking must be correct. Some Patriarch’s teachings and interpretations are not so pure. Of course, we can’t catch the core. At that time, he will be directed in another direction, and now Master Yishandao is looking back, and the practice that his deity told us is the pure practice.
Where do we work?It is to think of every way to communicate with Amitabha Buddha, and with Amitabha Buddha. Amitabha is no longer an invisible illusion. He is truly living in this name, and his soul is here. In a name, this scripture tells us a lot, Wan Dehong name, all the merits are bright, this is called the name Immeasurable Light Immeasurable Life, brightness is wisdom, longevity is blessing, and these two virtues are used to cover everything. Excellent, so Wan Dehong's name, then this name represents the life of Amitabha Buddha, so we must try our best to realize this.
Then every sentence of this Buddha name is very flavorful. It is not only a name, it is a life, so where we are going to see Amitabha, we want to see Amitabha in this name, when we are reciting Him, we When we think of Him, we will recite Him, and we will talk to Him. The name Amitabha is like a person. You have to think of it as a person, and you have to pour out to Him. Of course, it is not an insatiable talk. A lot of words are wasting time. He has his own heart and you don’t need to talk so much. You have a feeling in your heart. You have to confide in him. I am suffering now, I am afraid now, I am lonely now, I am embarrassed, and I have many things. There is no way to solve it. I have a lot of troubles now, what should I do?No one can help you, just read the name of Amitabha and you go to him.
When looking for Amitabha Buddha, it is to find him in this name. The moment you read it, he will give you inspiration and he will bless you and solve all things. If you don’t believe you, just read and see, not only can we have something to follow him in our hearts. A feeling of closeness gives rise to all kinds of confidence, and at the same time we can also give rise to a lot of inspiration. This is He who blesses us in the dark, so that our inner pain can be resolved, loneliness can be released and stabilized, and then our various difficulties, we suddenly There will be inspiration to solve, all things can be solved, and with this effect, this can be obtained by chanting in front of your eyes.
You are responsive to your requests. If you know that this Buddha's name is alive, Amitabha will live in this Buddha's name. You ask him, you ask him when you recite, and he has an induction for everything, and he can hear it, because he Having magical powers is not just asking for rebirth, so this name is too useful. We must know how to use it at any time. When you don’t ask for it, even when your heart is stable, you will accumulate your faith and willingness. Resources, so really smart people don’t want to let it go for a moment, because doing anything in the world is no better than reciting this Buddhist name. Naturally, you don’t want to waste time doing other things, except for resignation. In addition to evil and good.
