So today there is a special invitation from fellow practitioners. I hope that I can talk more about this aspect and the issue of dying meditation. So here, I also provide some ideas for your reference.The so-called [Dying Aid] is that before our dead he died, we can help him to teach him to truly let go of all conditions, be sincere, and single-mindedly, relying on Amitabha. As long as there is a real desire in his heart, Amitabha will definitely come and lead him to become a buddha.
The role of our helper is mainly to persuade him and tell him that there is such a way of liberation; at the same time, we can also accompany him and comfort him, so that he can feel a sense of peace of mind, and be able to wholeheartedly wait for Amitabha to pick him up smoothly. Citation, this is the part we can do for those who are willing to help.Well, it’s not only the greatest blessing that our fellow practitioners of Buddhism can cultivate; even in the world, compared with all the good dharma, there is no other blessing that can be compared with the blessings of helping others to read. Great, because as long as we can properly persuade, in a short time, we can achieve a Buddha, so this question is indeed very important.

How can we truly help the deceased to regenerate into a Buddha smoothly? This is a very personal issue for us. Regardless of whether our fellow practitioners have the intention to help others, in the future, our relatives and friends will inevitably need our help. , Then we are Buddhists in particular. If even this little strength cannot help, then I am afraid that people will not be able to develop confidence in the Dharma, so every one of us must study seriously.So, helping people to persuade people to die is the same as the principle of transcendence. Whether we can help the deceased to truly die into the world of bliss, the key lies in the people who help us to die.
First of all, to the Buddha, the forty-eight vows he has issued for us have created great confidence. The stronger your faith, the attitudes, words and sentences you emit can make the dead feel at ease and trust. As long as he has faith, he will If he is obedient, then as long as he is obedient and willing to make a wish, the matter will be fulfilled. It's very simple.But, to put it simple, it’s not simple from another angle. Why, if you and him are in the same life, you are enemies and creditors; he hates you when he sees you. At this time, you appear in front of him, no matter you He couldn't accept what he said, and even aroused hatred, so this fate is really mysterious.
For example, some fellow practitioners are also very motivated. There is a mage in the mainland. His mother passed away a few years ago. This mage is also a great virtue who specializes in the Pure Land and an abbot of a monastery, so of course he has a great reward. Lotus friend is also very motivated. The abbot’s mother passed away and everyone came to help memorial. These people came to help memorial. It seemed like they were very interested in helping me, but maybe there was your confidant among them. Creditors, we have to look at the results to make a final conclusion.So at the beginning to help recite, wow!Everyone is very motivated. They read it hard, and read it loudly. It doesn't matter if they lose their voice when they read it. It doesn't matter if they fate, there are people who are so motivated.
Then, this mage’s blessing is particularly great. There are a lot of people who come, and the whole space is crowded. Of course, the air is not good. People lying there must feel uncomfortable and oppressive. , Plus, these fellow practitioners who help chanting, among so many people, not everyone knows how to help chanting. They only know how to read hard. The louder the chanting, the more attentive I am.Then that kind of sound, it is in the ears of the dead, especially a person who is about to run out of breath, his reaction is a little uncomfortable, and it is very painful for him.
So if the sound is too noisy and harsh, it is definitely not a good thing for him.Sure enough, the mage’s mother, she was always reciting the Buddha, of course, but because of such a help chant, she did not die smoothly at the end, and she was still angry at the end. Hate, she said that I would turn off the Buddha account. I don’t want to listen. These people all retreat, why the more they listen, the more irritable they are. The whole person is in a bad mood. It feels like these people are eager for her to die soon. That kind of voice is very likely. Will feel this way.
When a person is sick and wants to walk but can't walk, and then the body is sick again, that kind of voice is really likely to appear in this situation, the deceased may have this kind of reaction, fortunately, the mage is also very clever. , Seeing that the situation is not right, retreat all, and all the people who helped the chanting, leave only the two bhikkhuni masters, chanting the Buddha softly beside them, and then, because the breath has not expired, but the karma is present, then hurry up and comfort Her, the whole atmosphere, the air became smoother, the voice of the Buddha recitation machine started to be quiet, and then the two masters quietly accompanied her, and asked her if she would like to drink water, and if she needed something. , So comforted her and let her emotions calm down. At this time, the karma gradually disappeared, and she was willing to start reciting the Buddha. In the end, there were no dangers, and fortunately she passed away smoothly.

So whether you can die or not, you see, this key person who helps memorialize is very important.In fact, if we learn now according to the eighteen aspirations, we will have confidence in our deaths and rely XNUMX% on the power of Buddha. In fact, we don’t need help from people at all. If the person who comes is your kinsman and creditor, that’s it. Buddha Amitabha, then if we are ourselves, we really don’t need to be afraid. If we truly believe in the Buddha, we need to figure out the concept. If you need someone to help you recite, it means that you don’t feel at ease with the Buddha, and the theory is. You haven't figured it out. It was not the people who helped us send us to the west. Don't make a mistake. Many people who help us have wrong ideas.
Last week, I was at the Furong Jingzong Academy. The fellow practitioners there also had a very active and enthusiastic attitude towards studying the Fa. Then there was an old fellow practitioner who gave away a CD-ROM of a Buddhist group in a continent and recorded it. I browsed through the XNUMX episodes and saw a short section of it. I listened to it for about ten minutes. I didn’t have a lot of time to continue watching it. I saw that section I probably knew their style.
The leader of the thought aid group is very young, probably in his forties. It seems that they, maybe the effect of the aid group is also very good, I am not sure; but, I just saw that paragraph, he is Let me tell you that once, even when they were first established, there were not many people who helped the chanting. Then once, he led four veteran fellow practitioners to help one person in the chanting. After a long time, they didn’t die. They said it was very stressful. After reading for days, days and nights, I read the group members, they talked about the group members, the group members, they have really lost their voices and they are all congested, and their throats are congested. , Because they tried desperately to read it, they thought it was their own strength, trying to think of him to die, and it would be very faceless if they didn't.
So day by day, the louder and louder the reading, the greater the pressure. The family of the deceased saw something wrong. Why didn’t they leave after reading for so long? Did they not have enough mana? I wanted to tell them not to recite. As a result, this group leader, this group leader also specifically asked that family member, you give me one more day, and he will definitely be sent to the Paradise of Bliss.Just discuss it with him, okay, I’ve been reading for so many days anyway, I’ll give you one more day, just like that, okay, there is one day left, now I have to work hard; but the other four A group leader, I feel very pitiful when he describes it like this. Maybe some old fellow practitioners who are quite old have swollen and congested their throats when they read it, and then they have no voice. How can they say it? , It really doesn't work, we really have to go, we have to give up, and we have already said that we are going to die.
As a result, the team leader told them: I just told my family members that there is still one day left. We will sprint again on the last day. We must not give up. When they first formed a team, building an image was also very important. There are achievements, right? As a result, I told them that we have been encouraging these four members. We must be generous now. We must be sincere if we are interested in order to be able to feel that Amitabha will come to pick it up.In fact, his concept is wrong. He said that we must make our minds. Let us now swear together that if the dead cannot be sent to the bliss world on the last day of today, we will die here. He will not die, we will die.
He led the four members to make a wish together, wow, he was very passionate, and the leader is not afraid to die, they must follow, and they can’t tell if they run away at this time. Okay, anyway. There was only one day left, so I continued to recite. The result seemed to be because, of course, you were so desperate, so how did Amitabha Buddha come, otherwise I can’t justify it, it was a threat to them, right? You are sincere. Of course it can be understood. This is definitely possible. Later, he also had a vision and really sent him to the world of bliss. But I saw him talking about this. I really listened to this passage. It was very hard, not to mention that the person who was reading at that time, after reading it, sending someone away, really has half his life left.
Helping chanting doesn’t have to be so hard. It’s Amitabha’s business, so the method is very important. It’s very important to master it. It’s very important to grasp it. If we use our strength, even if we fight this life ourselves, what we can do is very limited. You see. Say it like this. If one person reads for two or three days, the voice is gone. You can help several people in one month. If you really help to read two or three consecutively, you will be hospitalized in the hospital instead, and then maybe someone else will follow. It's possible to come to help you in your meditation, so this can't be a joke. We must first figure out the meditation aid. The death of life is completely dependent on the power of Buddha.

So how can we really help the deceased die smoothly? It’s very quiet, including the air flowing and smoothing, and no noisy noises. Don’t let those innocents and creditors approach him. Don’t let them approach people who don’t like them normally, and don’t help memorial people. There must be more. The most important thing is that the voice that you chanted to him should make him feel at ease. You are accompanying him. The voice you enlighten with him should also feel that it is comforting him, and you have to be full of confidence. The Buddha will definitely come to pick it up.
All you have to do is relax, recite the Buddha one sentence after another, and wait with peace of mind, regardless of one day, two days, or three days. When the time comes, Amitabha will naturally come to pick you up.Don't worry, people who are dying may also have ups and downs in their emotions. They will be irritable. Why don't you think for so long? It's possible, plus if he suffers from illness, has an attack of illness, or feels uncomfortable, of course I hope to leave soon. , So what is the role we play, soothing him, soothing his emotions, so the voice of enlightenment with him must be very soft and gentle, so that he feels at ease with you, this is the key, this Prevent his karma from appearing before.
Then again, it means to strengthen his faith and vow, to be sure, you don’t need to say a lot, you have to remind him, you have to remember to make a vow, you have to remember to think about the Buddha, Amitabha will definitely come to pick you up, and build this This kind of atmosphere, so, since this is the case, we can think that the tune that we help others to read is also very important. Don’t chant too fast. If you are chanting the Buddha, Amitabha... Amitabha..., alas. , The man lying there, his heart beating faster and faster, and suddenly he died, wow!Stop it, it will be troublesome, this is too thrilling, not very good, we still have to gently adjust the main.
Well, personally, when we helped others in the recitation, we didn’t even have the tune, and we don’t even need the tune. Generally speaking, the tune that we usually recite in the Buddha is also ok, but if there is a tune, you see, Men and women go to help the recitation together. The key of the men is higher, and the key of the women is lower. If it is based on the keys of the men, the women’s singing is really too high, and it will really not be able to pull up. ; How to cooperate, then you can't divide into classes and say, today the men are responsible for helping the recitation, and the women are not allowed to come, you can't divide it, so someone must have a very difficult reading.
This key is also a problem, a question of height; another thing is that if there is a tone, you will usually not be able to last longer, and your voice will tend to be dumb, unless you really have a strong dantian, with a tone, ups and downs, and you are out of it. This breath needs to be sufficient, and it is more laborious to produce it. Therefore, in order to create a very peaceful atmosphere, you shouldn’t be too breathless or tired when you’re reading, then of course you will come out. That voice will also feel a sense of urgency, which makes the listener very hard; so the best way is to directly use gratification. Not only can you last, but it’s okay to recite for three or five days. It’s okay if you don’t want to leave. We recite slowly, as for the seventh Buddha, the person who recites it will not work hard, and the person who listens will not feel oppressed.

(XNUMX) Saying the six-character Hong name means the three resources of rebirth
Well, when you read it, you can read six or four characters. Basically, we all read six characters. In the past, the old master, in this respect, he quoted the explanation of Master Yinguang. He said, He is speaking from the perspective of close relationship with Amitabha Buddha. If you persuade others, they will be called to reciting six characters, because Nanwu means refuge. If some people have not made a wish to recite the Buddha, then you should persuade them to recite six characters. It seems that on the one hand you have to persuade him, you have to take refuge, you have to take refuge; then if you are already familiar with Amitabha, you can recite the four words, or you can.
This is from the perspective of closeness, but if we are very familiar with Amitabha today, is it okay for us to recite the six characters, of course; we have to be respectful from beginning to end, from beginning to end. , This is also very good, like husband and wife get along for a long time, Gu Dade also said that it is necessary to respect each other as guests, so that family harmony can be maintained, and this relationship can be maintained very well; if they are too familiar, some people are easy to know it. Feeling, I lose respect, just casually, so I can handle this by myself, six or four characters are fine; but if you follow Master Shandao’s explanation: "Speaking to the south, it means returning to fate and making a wish. The Amitabha Buddha is his deeds, and he will be reborn.” Master Shandao explained the name from the cause of rebirth, the three resources, so when he said the six characters, he happened to be very complete, very Completely, it covers all the three grains of faith, wishing, rebirth and rebirth.
So we help others to recite this person, maybe the dead person, he has not made a vow, he hasn’t heard of the Pure Land Method, and he doesn’t understand anything. If we have made a vow, we can even recite one Buddha or four words. Because we already have faith in our hearts, it doesn’t matter whether we read them out or not. However, the person we help others to read, the dead, may have no concept at all in themselves, so it depends on the power of this Buddha sign, that " The six-character "Nanwu Amitabha Buddha" has the full belief and wish to fulfill the three resources, so as long as he hears the six-character name, he must be reborn. Unless he has other places in his heart, he is unwilling to go to the Paradise of Bliss. He has especially made a wish. If he doesn’t have any place to go, he doesn’t have any decision, or he doesn’t even know how to ask for rebirth in Paradise, it’s okay, as long as he hears six characters. Hong Ming, this name already possesses the three kinds of food for inducing Amitabha Buddha.
So if we recite the six characters, it is safer and more complete, and the principles and things are perfect. There is such a difference. Then we can take a look at it, not for six characters, four characters, I heard that there is a dojo, for the sake of cultivating together. If you want six characters or four characters, the result is the last quarrel, just open another branch; don’t quarrel, there is no result, this is really too ridiculous.So, depending on the situation, you can make an adjustment yourself. Without this, it's not rigid. Then we can usually use the gratitude for this group practice.

The purpose is to have friendship with Amitabha, to communicate with him, and to get in touch with him, then. At this time, we will feel, alas, the other music is already mixed, beginners will think that there is a soundtrack, alas, it’s great, follow this rhythm, it’s also very good, listen to Buddhist music Ah, it is also very good to recite the Buddha with the tune of this music.
But if our own minds are getting more and more peaceful, and your inner heart is really letting go, you just want to stay in this world and you only want to do one thing, that is, when you have time, you will have friendship with Amitabha. , Then the way to communicate with Buddha Amitabha is to recite the Buddha's name; therefore, in this state, at this stage, you naturally don’t want some noise, but the soundtrack becomes a mixed and noisy sound. The simpler the more Okay, the more straightforward we call this name, as if we are directly speaking to Amitabha. When you go back and read it for yourself, you have this feeling, clearly, you see, Master Yinguang also taught us how to recite the Buddha. , Every word is clear, then if you have too much music, your attention will sometimes notice the ups and downs of the music, but it is not easy to focus so much.
Therefore, you can only call the name of Buddha directly. Not only do you feel close to Amitabha Buddha, just call him by his name, just call it directly; in addition, you will feel that there is no such mixed feeling, that kind of interference, and it is easy to concentrate. You have to experience this by yourself. what.So, it’s not easy to experience it. Novices still like music. It’s because his heart is not quiet enough, why not quiet enough, because his heart is still chasing on the five desires and six dusts. His heart is not He wants to commend this name with all his heart and desire to be reborn, so his heart cannot live in this Buddha name, so direct commendation is really tasteless, and novices can't do it; you have a way to realize that you You already have time. At least it proves that you miss this Buddha name very much, and if you want to concentrate, just recite this Buddha name purely and live on it to experience it.

If you have confidence in this Buddha sign, you will be able to hear it from the sound, it will generate power, and the sound wave has power. When the Blessed One was alive before, when he was chanting mantras or chanting Buddha, he could use this sound. In treatment, some of your acupoints can be opened up on the spot, and some diseases will be cured immediately, so you can determine the size, strength, and speed of the voice yourself. Then just call it directly. When we can usually practice together, Of course, you just follow the crowd when you go to the dojo. This does not hinder you. Don’t say that I insist on doing this. It’s troublesome. If you follow the public to practice together, you must have some tunes. Everyone is better to cooperate. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. This is different. We can also adjust the situation, it doesn't matter, don't be rigid.
Then when we are chanting, we help others to chant or we usually call ourselves directly. Usually we are accustomed to chanting with closed eyes. With eyes closed, we are less likely to be disturbed by the outside world, and you are chanting. At that time, you can hear your voice very clearly, and you, because you hear it very clearly, when your inner feeling towards Amitabha Buddha becomes stronger, it is induction. You have a feeling of dependence, or When a very strong faith in Amitabha arises, it will radiate from your voice, and you can hear it clearly, which means that you can control the voice very well. Be in control, you have to experience this yourself.

Help others to read, sit close, want to say, wow, this must be taught to him, must explain clearly, afraid that he will not hear, sit very close, and then speak in great detail, and after the lecture is finished Close your eyes, wow, very earnestly, very attentively.
