In the past few days, it’s rare to see fellow practitioners from nearby schools taking turns to join us. Some chairpersons also came here in particular, indicating that our portal in the Johor Bahru area is gradually recommending ourselves. It's a little more open, especially today, our Gulai president and his wife all rushed back together.
Today is particularly extraordinary, because some of our fellow practitioners have devoted their minds to the three conversions and the five precepts, so because our dojo has changed to a new place and only performed the purification ritual a few days ago, there may be some fellow practitioners whose news is not so. Being wise, this depends on the predestined condition, and the predestined relationship with us is deep enough to catch up. Usually, we often hear that some fellow practitioners are our Fa conferences, and we only know the news after the lectures are over. So this really depends on the predestined relationship. Copies.It’s very rare for us to have a fellow practitioner present today. The reason for his three conversions to the five precepts today is also due to his motivation. This fellow practitioner is already an old fellow practitioner and has been studying Buddhism for more than XNUMX years. Receiving the five precepts, but this time you make an effort to receive the five precepts again.
We monks also have this precept. The fellow practitioner’s motivation, he told me, because he recently felt that the five precepts he requested and received in the past have not been implemented very well in his life. In fact, he can It’s not easy to perceive this way. This should be the blessing of Amitabha Buddha’s power, because this year, after this fellow practitioner came into contact with the thoughts of our Master Shandao’s Pure Land, he particularly felt this kind of induction with the Buddha and received Amitabha Buddha. Blessings.Then the person who really accepts it will really make a change like him, and be able to reflect on himself more, and then be able to improve this intensive study. Not only will it be motivated, but it will also be truly implemented. In this way, it is truly accepting the Buddha. The blessing of strength is not because of our discipline, and the threshold for learning is very low.As long as you believe that as long as you are willing to die, you can decide that there is no problem. It will not be easier and more relaxed afterwards because of the low threshold. If this is the case, there must be a problem. So this fellow practitioner, also do it for us. This is a very good demonstration. Not only did I ask for the Five Precepts this time, but it also made it possible for other people to have this predestined condition, so this merit is really unimaginable.
This is like a snowball, and it’s getting bigger and bigger. It’s not just the cause. In the past, it was probably last month. When I came to the town of Skudai, Johor Bahru, there were a total of XNUMX days of lectures. He also reported every day. It's all a natural reaction. People are veteran fellow practitioners and veterans for more than XNUMX years. Is it necessary to be so diligent like this?The ten-day lectures have not been closed for a day, have not stopped, and have not missed classes, so this time I specifically told him that you should not come for the five days. Take good care of the family and work hard at home. Fortunately, I told him not to come, because We already have a family, and we have to take care of it at home, but this is a good example for us. It is indeed the change that appears after a kind of touch from the heart, even if some people are single, Then we will simply start to become a monk. It will be more thorough. So our study today is mainly to continue the essence of the three-time system that we talked about yesterday.

Then there are two key points in the essence of the three-time system. One is the teaching of Zen Master Zhongfeng, and the other is the content of the Amitabha Sutra. Then I will leave a little time for everyone later. This precept has also been talked about a few days ago. , So we are now making subtitles among the discs we recorded in Muar more than half a month ago, and fellow initiates can watch them by themselves when they are circulating in the future.We also have a circulation about precepts, and the three conversions and five precepts taught by the old master should always be listened to. So today we will seize a little bit of time. We will focus on the key points in this Zen Master’s teachings, and we will study, and then finally carry out the three. The ritual of converting the Five Precepts, I won’t talk much about the precepts here.
Yesterday we talked about some of the key points in the first discourse. I also mentioned yesterday that I said that the scope of study with everyone that I proposed is different from the way that the old masters or other masters explained it word by word. I take the method of the essence, and the method of the essence, the scope I have selected, is all in terms of the facts, that is, after we have listened to it, we can really start and hold these teachings.
Then I won’t talk much about the exquisite realm that the Zen master has attained. The fellow practitioners who are more rooted and self-examined may have enlightenment after reading it a few times, but our Pure Land method really has to be achieved. This is to become a Buddha in a lifetime. , So if we have to rely on our own enlightenment is still very limited, just follow the teachings of our ancestors, and we rely XNUMX% on the blessings of Amitabha.In this way, our study is easy and stable, the achievement is quick, and the results are the most outstanding. Because many fellow practitioners have seen Zen Master Zhongfeng’s teachings, most of them are in a very high and wonderful state, so they will feel that this practice is his This teaching is different from the Pure Land Three Classics and even from Master Shandao. In fact, there is no difference. Why is it said that there is no difference?Because all theories must be more satisfactory from two aspects.One is from the self-nature, that is, from the rationality, and the other is from the aspect of the matter from the outside. The directors are the same. In reality, there must be something reasonable, and something must be reasonable, so we are careful. Looking at it, most of the essays will actually cover both aspects, so that it will be more complete.
It’s just that some focus more on the physical performance in this realm, just like Zen Master Zhongfeng, so it’s so difficult for most people to see!It’s so high-level, but in fact, when we look at it carefully, he also teaches us in terms of things. He is no different from Master Shandao, except that Master Shandao is pure and completely engaged in phases and directly teaches us how to do it, just like the Amitabha Sutra. In the same way, he doesn't tell you the advanced theory, but directly teaches us how to do what we want.In fact, this is the most straightforward. It doesn’t go around at all, and it’s the most essential. The Zen master’s discourse is a bit like Guanjing. The reason in the front of the Guanjing is that the sixteen views are because of the prayer of Mrs. Vettihi. , Asking the Blessed One to teach me thinking to teach me to experience, that is cultivation, because the sentient beings at that time did not know that there is a pure land method, so of course I generally want to say that cultivation is precept and concentration.
The Blessed One first followed Madame Vettihi’s request and told her that he had taught the sixteen insights, and in the last part of the circulation, he explained how Ananda and the participants in the meeting should accept this sutra. The method presented is straightforward and very simple. If you are engaged in physiognomy speaking, you can hold the name of the Buddha, if you hold the word, that is, hold the name of the Buddha of immeasurable life. Just one sentence is the focus of the entire meditation, the focus of practice. And it's that simple.How are you going to accept this sutra?The Blessed One explained to Ananda that the simple way to receive this sutra is to recite the Buddha well by name, but when most of us look at it, wow!The Buddhist scriptures talk about sixteen methods, which we can’t see with our eyes. Fortunately, the Patriarch’s great virtues point us out, and only the Patriarch’s great virtues are like Master Shandao’s fusion of Pure Land Sutras. It’s really true. Cheers to the Buddha.
Such a great virtue dared to speak such words, so that he could speak perfectly and cleanly. There were no contradictions in every aspect. He did not need to explain for a long time and directly taught us how to do it, and his tone was very positive. Even some other patriarchs did not treat us. The theory of the Pure Land Sutra, the ancestors of other sects, did not explain our theory of the Pure Land Economics very clearly, even a little bit deviation.

It spread to Japan in the year, and to the present, the status of the ancient and the modern is affirmed and respected by the great virtues of the ancient and modern sects, so it is taught in a tone like him, although it only teaches directly on the matter. What do we do, but we really have to follow the teachings.He doesn’t explain so many theories to us, just like parents teaching their children, just tell you what to do, and you just do it. He doesn’t need to explain so many reasons to you, explain so many reasons, what the parents say It's definitely right, and you should just follow the teachings. I have to explain to you that it's not necessary for a long time!Master Shandao is instructing us with this attitude, and he is also fully sure.
Enlightened people dare to have this kind of tolerance, so today we have to learn the teachings of Zen Master Zhongfeng, and we have to be good at learning. If we are learning the Buddhist scriptures, then we will scare ourselves away, wow!I can't understand it at such a high level, so I have also cited some lectures on physiognomy in the past two days.In fact, we also learned some yesterday. From this teaching, we can see that he is no different from what Master Shandao said, because there is only one kind of true pure land practice, and there cannot be two. The core practice is also faithfulness. Yixing means that some people's faith and Yixing from other patriarchs explained him very well, relying entirely on their own strength. It really does not correspond to the original cherished wish of Amitabha Buddha.The forty-eight vows issued by Amitabha Buddha are to save the dead, evil, life and death, ordinary people, including the three evil ways. You can see that they are definitely not capable of practicing on their own. How can it be possible to open this special method and set the standard very high, so how can it be possible? Having saved the sentient beings in the ten directions, how could his wish be fulfilled, so it must be very simple, and there are three ways to be universally covered, and all sentient beings in the ten methods are perfect.
This is the purpose of Amitabha Buddha’s forty-eight vows. Since he has been fulfilled ten calamities ago, it must be a simple practice to fulfill his vows. In many ways, we truly correspond to Amitabha Buddha’s true core theory of this Pure Land Method. In the future, all the contradictions in the past include the contradictions explained by other patriarchs from the standpoint of self-reliance, and you naturally have the ability to distinguish them.Then we can't say that they are wrong, but because of their fundamental nature, they can cultivate like that and then go back!Personal freedom, personal karma!But in that way, two or three people are rare among XNUMX people. You have to be quite stable. At the end of the day, there are no innocent creditors. You can cope with it. Even if you can cope with it, it is really dangerous, so it’s okay. About two or three people out of XNUMX can go. That way, it doesn't really rely on the blessing of Amitabha's aspiration!It's no different from your other methods, anyway, it's still very hard on your own.

Let’s look at the second section of the discourse: “I’ll become a Buddha now. It’s too late for the Lord of Lebang. It’s more desirable. Regardless of when the reincarnation is gone.” These four sentences are Zhongfeng. The Zen master’s painstaking persuasion tells us the feelings of Amitabha Buddha, so I specifically cite this paragraph in order to let everyone experience Amitabha’s mood together. This is the key to helping us to further understand Amitabha.We have mentioned before that Amitabha is waiting by our side anytime and anywhere. He is very anxious. If you have seen our XNUMX vows, you will know from the previous speech, especially at the first and second vows. These most bitter sentient beings make these two wishes first, and then we can deeply understand Amitabha’s feelings and how anxious it is, just like when we talked about kinship, this is the kinship, advancement, and enhancement of kinship that Master Shandao talks about.
This is a relationship that other Buddhas do not have with us. Amitabha has these three relationships with us. Affinity means close relatives, relatives' relatives. The word “kissing” stands on a tree and sees each other. This is very vivid. Words, like a mother, this evening, the sun goes down and I haven't seen the child come back very anxiously. Then Ligen Limu is standing high on the tree and looking at it.Damn!Why the child hasn’t come back? This kind of relationship shows this feeling. The relationship between Amitabha Buddha and us is more ardent than the mother’s caring for our children. Therefore, we are now in constant reincarnation. After so long, we still don’t know how to look back quickly, so this section of Zen Master Zhongfeng Of course he can understand it, so he advised us to become a Buddha now, because it is too late for Amitabha, and he has been waiting for us for a long time.
Do you feel that there is a Buddha waiting for us every day, and we still feel like a person is lonely and no one cares about us all day long, and we can’t see the truth at all, just like many runaways now? Teenagers, even in elementary schools, ran away from home and became gangsters. The gangsters have a meal without a meal. It is inevitable that sometimes they feel depressed and feel very pitiful. In fact, are they really pitiful? No!My parents are very anxious at home!These young people can’t realize that kind of mood, so both sides are suffering. As long as we turn around and experience the mood of Buddha Amitabha, he is really a Buddha born by words, not in the portrait, although it is said that the self-nature Amitabha is pure land. .Amitabha Buddha is the Buddha in our own nature, but the Buddha in this self really appears in the Western Paradise, and is also a Buddha born of words. He really cares about us and is anxious for us with his heart. His mood is indeed like this. If we really look back and realize this, our destiny will change throughout our life.
If it’s my personality, I’m like this. Right now, I can make my mind and body to become a monk, and even entrust my life to the arrangement of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Induction with Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, in this way, in our lives, we will find the true and correct direction, and it will be very fulfilling.You will happily move towards this goal. Of course, you will let go of the moment thoroughly. Many people have changed one hundred and eighty degrees. Is this difficult?Not difficult!Only in one thought, so we have to learn, we must lock in this range and often go to Xunxiu to experience it.
This range means to experience the relationship between Amitabha and us from all aspects, instead of asking you to read the Prajna Sutra again when you have nothing to do, telling you that everything is illusion and empty, nothing, wow!Amitabha is gone, so you are not asking for trouble and hitting yourself. Is there or not?There is or is not right, and there is no difference in emptiness, but this is another level of realm, and we don't realize it now.We start from practicing the Pure Land method, that is, we enter from the door. The more you are attached to Amitabha, the better, and it is true or not. There is a paradise and Amitabha, so we must lock in this direction and constantly in our daily life. Or in the sutras, in this area of sutras, you continue to strengthen your relationship with Amitabha, just like you want to talk about love, you want to marry someone home, you have to communicate with her often every day, and become more and more familiar with it. Finally moved by you and married home.
You still have to work hard! Okay! We just want to keep closer to Amitabha, we can truly understand the relationship between his heart and us more and more. We are not unmoved!The xinxing will be completely softened, and I feel very happy every day. It turns out that I am not an orphan.It turns out that in this world of ours, you see that the world is full of turbulent causes and conditions, and there is nowhere to escape. It seems that there will never be a day of liberation. But when we feel that it is different from Amitabha, not only will there be places in the future, but also a lifetime. Become a Buddha, and now...you will no longer feel the suffering of the suffering in this world. The heart that arises is just hoping to replace Amitabha to repay the grace, to be able to do more things instead of Amitabha, to save some sentient beings and let them follow us. You can also get away from suffering as soon as possible. Just do this and you will be busy, and there will be time for troubles.

There is nothing to care about in this world. Once you come to the world of bliss, you will get what you want, everything will be done, and there will be nothing to care about. There are Qibao all over the ground, and you don’t want to take it home. trouble!There is nothing to worry about, now one or two houses are all day long...like my mother does too, oops!It is simply a housekeeping slave. After buying a house for one house, he stopped going out, and almost never went out. He stayed in that house. This sentient being is very pitiful.There is nothing in this world that is worthy of our embarrassment or concern. There will be some things that should be there, and those that should disappear will naturally disappear. Why should we put our heart in our hearts, so we have to really appreciate the heart of Amitabha , I died earlier, so I also tell my children and parents directly that you should also teach your children to make a wish as soon as possible.
Some people say jokingly, oh!Master Renjing specializes in teaching people to die. When I see a child, I also ask people to die. I told his parents if it’s good. You have to run first. You have to go first. Don’t care about your child. The coffin is pretending to be dead. You don't pretend to be an old man, you don't wait until you are old before you die. You don't plan a future with him first.Everyone has equal opportunities in the Elysium, and everyone has the right. It is not until he has suffered so much in this world to persuade him to survive in the Elysium. If he can really go early, what is a pity, Mrs. Vettich gave birth. The Blessed One died in seven days, alas!No matter how you give birth to a child and you die, the world’s people’s concept is that people actually go to heaven to enjoy the blessings. What’s so good about this world? As a Buddha, you’ll be rewarded immediately, and the debt will be paid off in seven days, so some children Ah, I passed away at a very young age or what was an accident. In fact, parents don’t need to be too sad. It is not necessarily a bad thing for a child. The real bad thing is not knowing where to go?
There is no chance to hear the Buddha's name introduce this method. That one is really pitiful and hesitated. Usually it goes to the three evil ways, and it is not easy to get the human body. Therefore, the Zen master said that the one who is more desirable is the one who is still learning. This learns the miscellaneous miscellaneous studies that reciting poems and composing the right ones, and the knowledge of the world is enough.You always have to learn what you should learn in your field of expertise. Don’t be greedy. Like Su Dongpo, the great Buddhist scholar, Tan Kong said that he doesn’t sleep at night, but he doesn’t have any effort at all. When I met that Zen master, I forgot what he was called, and I was a good friend with him. It's also fighting back and forth. I didn't hit Jiang with a fart. I didn't have any effort. I would get angry and get angry immediately. Learning so much is useless. Even Buddhism doesn't need to be miscellaneous, not to mention the knowledge of the world.What is more is to talk about some general knowledge, the knowledge of the world, and when the reincarnation is gone, doing this is just continuous reincarnation, even if it is the good law of the world, don’t be greedy, just do whatever you want, and the real thing is to cultivate. The transcendental law also requires the cultivation of blessings and generosity. The mentality of cultivating the transcendental law is different from the mentality of the transcendental law, and the retribution is different.
What is transcendental law?Just don’t ask for rewards, don’t ask for rewards, I won’t want me to come here again in my next life to enjoy the blessings, to enjoy the rewards. The Bodhisattva does not ask for rewards, nor does he want to enjoy the blessings. The Three Realms!I didn't even say in my heart, oops!How many charities I have done, still waiting for others to return.To tell the truth, people report that we have to think about how tired we are. If we think about it, we will feel tired. Enjoying happiness is also very tired. It is really like this. When you are an Arahant, he eats one meal a week and offers two Buddhas. Eating one meal a week, no other things outside of the body are needed, it really feels cumbersome.
After I became a monk, of course, I did it at that time. I didn’t touch the money ring and came in order for many years. It can be said that I am close to three clothes and one bowl. I often travel abroad, but there are one or two suitcases, but most of them are magic weapons, very comfortable. Otherwise, you often run a lot of luggage abroad, what should I do?There is no place to put it.This year, a small abode was settled down because I was too old to run, and I couldn’t run anymore. There was a little thing that was needed in the permanent residence. They were all delivered by others. I was thinking, oops!I have to worry about how to deal with this in the future. On the contrary, I find it very troublesome. There are more and more things, so I have to cultivate... Regardless of the cultivation of blessings and wisdom, we must use the heart of the world. That is real merit, real freedom, this way. It won't... Even if we have created too much karma in the world, no matter how much it does not prevent us from leaving the Three Realms, the so-called karma of course refers to good karma.

The teaching means that no one can take away from the Paradise of Elysium, as long as we are willing to return to the hometown of our own nature, which is revealed from our nature, everyone has it, for fear that we will not go back and will not go home, and we will be really tired of playing outside. , The Six Paths of Reincarnation has been a long time... Tired!As long as you turn around, you can go home and you will be there immediately. No one is vying to go.This independent committee is about returning to life and relying on it. As long as we are willing to rely on Amitabha, we can obtain all the forty-eight aspirations and virtues that he has issued for us. From the name, we can receive all of them through this medium, so We must know that if we usually encounter any disasters, accidents, and anxiety that cannot be resolved, we can handle them satisfactorily by using this name, because it contains immeasurable merits, and we are afraid that we will not have confidence. Without confidence, of course there is no way to sense it.The Baiyuhao mentioned here refers to the light of the Buddha. The ancient and the present are not ignorant. It is all based on the wish. That is, the Baiyuhao refers to the light of the Buddha. It has been illuminating the ten directions from ancient times to the present. This means that Amitabha is always by our side. If we really want to return to the hometown of bliss, as long as we make a vow, the one who accepts it, as long as we make a vow, you see, it still lies with us! He didn’t say... Zen Master Zhongfeng didn’t say that you have to attain his realm in order to live and live Realizing a pure land of bliss in the self, no!He didn't tell us to cultivate like this!right?He said that it is all based on wishes, and you can get it as long as you want it.
Look at the third-time teaching: "Ancient humanity. The clear pearl was cast into the muddy water. The muddy water had to be cleared.
