Dear fellow practitioners, good noon, Buddha Amitabha! Today is the fourth and final lecture of the "Amitabha Buddha's Forty-Eight Vows". Today we are going to talk about it to Consummation.There are more than XNUMX wishes in the future! But because we have received professional training in lectures, we can use each sutra, long and short lectures freely. There are methods for this, and both long and short lectures can be used. To explain the core principles clearly, then we must be grateful to our mentor Jingkong and Li Bingnan. In order to cultivate the talents of Buddhism, they taught us the method of lectures on the internal scriptures, that is, the method of lecturing. This thing is really infinite merit. .

So today we not only have to finish the remaining vows, but also tell everyone how to worship vows and chanting to truly eliminate karma, so how can we interact with the Buddha in the process of worshiping the Buddha? Some key methods.In the previous few times, everyone prayed well and heard the voice of fellow practitioners eliminating karma. They cried very sadly. The more sad the cries, the more thoroughly the karma was eliminated.So after this time the Buddha Three and our precepts meeting is over, we will teach you yoga and worship Buddha next time and next time. Yoga worship Buddha from the age of five or six or even younger, until the age of seven or eighty. You can learn.

In the past, when I was teaching in Indonesia, every time I went there to give a lecture, it was Master Haitao’s great guardian, a dojo managed by his own layman. He regularly invited some masters to preach the Dharma every year. Every time I went, it was the same. There were more than one hundred people sitting full, but at that time, more than two hundred people came out from where they taught yoga and worshipped Buddha. They couldn’t sit down on the first floor. They were temporarily changed to the upper floor. The whole building was about four, four, four. On the five-story building, there are only a few hundred Buddha statues, a great protector who is very blessed.

During that teaching, there was an old Bodhisattva who was in his eighties, oh! Worshiped very well.It’s actually very simple to learn when you go back. How simple is it?You will learn it in the next half an hour. Then you say it is difficult. If you have to worship until you reach Consummation, then you can only worship until you become a Buddha, because you can continuously improve. When can you learn?You've learned it right away, it's not that difficult. Don't want to behave like a Buddha. Then you can reach Consummation. Of course it's impossible.

So this time, time is very fast, we have been studying together here for almost a month, our abbot, Master Zhaoxu, when I first came this time!It took him less than two or three days to listen. After listening to a class, he went abroad. When he arrived in mainland China, he took XNUMX to XNUMX old fellow practitioners and ran towards the mountains. , And then left it to me to take care of the house, and some of them were left behind. Some people deliberately stayed to listen to the scriptures. Oh! This is better. Those who like to go to the mountains would like to go to the mountains! We who like to listen to the scriptures are like-minded and come together. learn.

Master Zhaoxu, because he is a classmate of our training class, and he is also a master of teaching, so he understands the importance of teaching very well, but it is because of his wish!I’ve been busy building the temple all day, and I don’t have time to give lectures. Now the temple has not been built, so this time he left, before leaving the country! He immediately listened to me for another lecture, and he immediately invited me to be here. Stayed often and helped him to teach scriptures.Then I joked and answered him, I said you want me to live permanently, then I have to sell the dojo I am in charge of first, we have the land! Then I said it is easy to sell this land, I still have a big bronze bell. , Where do you want to sell?Our twilight bells are found in the jungle. They are small dojos! But the sparrows are small and well-equipped.

In fact, our monks are home from all over the world. I want to talk about these things to explain our cause and fate this time. It is really not easy. Many people don’t realize it. So I want to talk to you. We will learn together this time. Of this cause.Our monks are really free! The whole world is our home! A bowl of food for thousands of families, traveling thousands of miles alone, this is really the case, whether it is a man or a woman, as long as you have Dharma destiny, any corner is our home. We are all attached to sentient beings, so where we live is actually not our own will! It's entirely a condition of perception.

So this month, almost a month, I actually feel most gratified, and I have some experience, because it’s the first time I came to Canada! It’s so far away, and it’s been a dozen hours on the plane. Here, it’s the first time that I was really far overseas, studying together with these overseas Chinese compatriots. They used to be in Southeast Asia. For many years, the traits of the fellow practitioners on that side are different from those of the fellow practitioners here. So this period of time I also quite understand it.The most gratifying thing for us to take a look at is that the fellow practitioners we stayed to listen to the scriptures, you see, they are all the same people, not bad!No increase, no decrease.I believe that as long as I have time, I will try my best to listen to it. It’s already the fourth session! All have passed the test. According to the master, the third session is true. As long as you come to listen to the second session, you will have the intention to listen to the Fa, otherwise. There is no time to come! Usually it is only once! The third time it is a fan! That is to respond, some people want to listen to the Fa and listen to the corresponding, then they are willing to come again.

We are in the fourth session, and we also talked about the "Vatican Net Sutra" and this "Buddhist Etiquette" in the library. The attendance rate is very good, both are very stable, and they are increasing.This shows that our Dharma Destiny is indeed very good. Although it is not like one, two hundred, two or three hundred people in mainland China, I believe that most of the essence of our Buddhism students and fellow practitioners here in Toronto have appeared! So it is very Extraordinary.In fact, in our world, even if there is only one person, even if there is only one person, the Buddha and Bodhisattva will live for that person. This is true, because this person really has the Taoism, and he will surely achieve it. Well! One achievement is a Buddha, that's a joke.But if there is no Dao Xin, it seems to be very lively, it is all pretend, it is useless, it is really a waste of time, just play with everyone.

Every dojo will inevitably have this kind of people, because the dojo is open and anyone can come. If this is the case, even if you look like, everyone is eager to get close, and then they flatter and admire. All kinds of..., but still can't feel the long-term Dharma predestined well.It really needs to come from the innermost feelings of Taoism. When sentient beings have feelings, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will respond. That is the case with Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Of course, we Buddhist disciples of the burden family business must vent their breath with the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Just look at us. Whether there is real Taoism, if you are fake, then Buddhas and Bodhisattvas must know.Then we will also know, don’t think that we look stupid and innocent. The longer we become a monk, the younger we look like eighteen years old, so stupid! Because we look at sentient beings from the classic perspective, and we are karma. There is nothing wrong with it! It is not much better than you, but our vision is to analyze and interpret sentient beings through the Dharma, the eyes of the Buddha, and the scriptures of the Buddha, so don't underestimate it, don't underestimate it.

Some people don’t have Taoism themselves, so they don’t respect the Three Jewels from the bottom of their hearts. Then the respect he does is superficial. He is for the stakes, and he respects you and favors you if they have stakes. There is no stake, he It is possible to do superficial kung fu occasionally, or even not to do kung fu, and simply make trouble for you, then this kind of respect is not true, because respect is a kind of moral virtue.If we know what is respectful in our hearts, then you will be respectful to everyone, you will be respectful to a mage, and you will be respectful to all the mages. If you don’t say that this is a good practice, I will be respectful. If that is not well practiced, I will not be respectful. , Even I still have the right to criticize him, then this respect is fake, it is all fake, this kind of person respects me many, I do not appreciate, I do not appreciate.

You say that I am better than others and which master is better. Usually, if you can persuade him, I will immediately persuade him to be equal. You can’t criticize and compare. If you can’t persuade, I won’t talk about it, don’t get a bad relationship! Because everyone comes. When you arrive at the dojo, each person has different causes and conditions, and we can't force it. Some people don't know it. If you say that you want him to open up his wisdom and get rid of those inner greed, anger, and ignorance, that's impossible.We can only be tolerant, and then we are very clear in our hearts. Don't think that our monks seem to have relatively little social experience, and many of them don't understand, and we are wrong.If there are too many people of this kind, then think about whether it is possible to retain good knowledge in this place? Absolutely impossible, absolutely impossible, this is definitely a question of induction.If everyone here likes facing the mountains, then it is not used, and there is no need to invite me.Then if you like the practice meeting, then it is good for everyone to go to the practice meeting; or if you like to cultivate happiness, there is nothing wrong with it! But the most important thing is to be clear and not to deceive yourself or others, otherwise you will create karma.

Come to Buddhism! Everyone must have a correct concept. There are only two things to come to Buddhism, one is to cultivate blessings, and the other is to cultivate wisdom.Xiuhui means listening to the scriptures, hearing the Dharma and practicing, and cultivating blessings is to protect the dojo. Why is this dojo open? Because it gives all beings from all directions the equal right to plant this blessed field. It is a free platform and no tickets are collected.So what kind of seeds you bring and plant, and what kind of fruit you will harvest in the future, is equal to all beings.So when you come to the dojo, we come to the dojo, what reward we will get in the future depends on what mentality we use and what seeds we plant for it.

This is an unconditional favor given to us by the Three Jewels, rather than a false perception on the contrary, saying: "I come to the dojo, I am here to protect, I will pay, how much the dojo owes me." Even some I give one. For points, he still has to get back ten, and there are many such people! This not only fails to cultivate blessings but creates karma, why?You are in society, you owe someone and you take advantage of one person, then you owe someone! If you go to the dojo to take advantage, all sentient beings in the ten directions are your creditors, and you can’t pay! You might as well go into society, right?Anyway, everyone in society is fighting!It's almost the same, it depends on who is better.

The dojo is so kind, demanding, and open, and then it is very kind, opening this door to all beings in the ten directions, hoping to form good bonds, hoping to benefit all living beings, and to be able to cultivate both blessings and wisdom.Then you are in such a clean place, you still use nausea to take advantage, and even all kinds of improper behavior, and then to whom do you do, then you have done a lot of karma in vain and then waste time?So everyone needs to know that to grasp such a good cause and condition, you have to use good seeds to plant this cause.

There is no free lunch in the world! You must be convinced that cause and effect are righteous Buddha disciples, otherwise you won't even be able to qualify as a Buddha disciple.Regardless of whether there is a cause or fate in the future, I will come here again, stay habitually, or come to get fate again. I don’t know, nor did I give Master Zhaoxu an answer, but at least we have learned together for a while, I am very satisfied with the performance of fellow practitioners!

Everyone tried their best and their attitude was very good. The learning attitude hardly saw people dozing off. When some people first started to talk, like we were in that library, it was a little lecture! On Wednesday night, Sunday is one noon, but also I didn’t start to say that everyone wanted to sleep because it was a good time to sleep, and I also wanted to sleep, but after I started talking, every eye opened wider and wider, and everyone’s learning atmosphere was very good. Okay, then we will hurry up and learn this vow, the thirteenth paragraph "When I was a Buddha, there were no women in the country..." Look at this for yourself, don’t read it again! This paragraph talks about three wishes: "There is no wish for women in the twenty-two kingdoms", "The wish for misogyny to men in twenty-three", and "The wish for twenty-four lotus transformation." .We have already talked about the "eighteenth vows and ten thoughts must be born" and other "repentance and rebirth". These are all based on the conditions of rebirth. Amitabha has given sentient beings from the perspective of conditions and methods of rebirth. Yes, tell us what are the conditions for death.You have to rely XNUMX% on the Buddha, ten thoughts must be reborn, or you have to repent to live, or you have to cultivate all the merits to regenerate, it just depends on what your root nature is, then you can respond to which wish, and then what Use that method to come and go to the world of bliss.

Do you know that this woman’s body is very filthy, the heart is filthy, the body is filthy, everyone in this body is filthy, but the woman’s heart is heavier than men’s karma, and it’s a lot more complicated. This is true. We have to admit that it is you. I am not a woman anymore. I am not a woman anymore! We are more like men than some men. The temperament of a man, because through the precepts and the guidance of the classics, we will Change, the personality will change, so you see that after XNUMX or XNUMX years of being a monk, women look like men. We often admit mistakes. After watching for a long time, I don’t know if she is a man or a woman. The result is Bhikshuni.

That woman’s heart! It’s very troublesome. For example, we have a sutra called "The Eighty-Four Kinds of Feminine Forms." The question on the above, of course, if some men have such a personality, then he is also a woman.In terms of personality, I just like to play scheming, right?Speaking of wrists, and socially speaking of wrists, how should I deceive a man's heart, deceive me, use all kinds of false means, and then rely heavily on it! Then I love packaging! Superficial skills.

The heart is fickle and unsatisfied. If you want to be very possessive, it is best for him to always. This husband and boyfriend will always only look at me, and other women are not allowed to look at them, right?Is it possessive? Then he is very jealous, suspicious and sensitive.Ouch!You guys who have married wives must all know that women are terrible!She can't get rid of it. It's miserable. She can't get rid of it even if she gets it.We really, if we hurry up, if a woman has this problem, she should quickly repent and become a husband, otherwise it would be really shameful.Besides, there is no way for women to become Buddhas, this is the most troublesome, so we see Dragon Girl in the Lotus Sutra! She is the daughter of the Dragon King, this is the living beings in the sea, she is a woman! But she It shows that she has become a Buddha. In an instant, she gave orbs to the world deity. This is an expression, and she becomes a Buddha in an instant.

Before becoming a Buddha, she turned the male body first, and then became a Buddha.So if we make a vow to be a girl, then you have no way to become a Buddha. Don’t make this kind of vow, so usually Amitabha is a vow as long as you hear his name, you naturally hate girls and you don’t want to be a girl. Being a girl is really troublesome. I didn't want to be a girl anymore.Although I am pretty good, many boys chased me before, but I think, oh! This is a very troublesome thing, I am very tired of being chased by him, this is not very proud, this is true, tell the truth.That's because I think, I am afraid of myself! Because I have been tempted before, a man like Chow Yun-fat, oh! Really tempted, I began to think about marrying him in the future.

I was only in my early twenties, and then the more I thought about it, the more terrible I thought about it, the more terrible I thought about it. It’s not that they’re not bad, they’re billionaires! I’m honest, kind to me and considerate. I asked me to eat and I asked for a driver. pick me up.Then I didn't dare to be stingy, so I tipped him a thousand yuan, alas!It hurts terribly, twenty years old! No money! I have to pretend to be generous again, but the other party is very good, which is my problem.I started to think: "Wow! I am so lucky now! This fate is so good, and I like him very much." Then I began to fantasize: "Marry him, but what if he has an affair after marrying him? What to do? What if he is so busy and doesn’t have time to accompany me? What if..." I thought a lot, thinking about myself! It’s painful! It’s troublesome, it’s really scaring myself, then this It's also one of the femininity! We are suspicious, insecure, and confident... Wait.These are all feminine, so you will be very miserable. You will have troubles before others trouble you, and you will think a lot before things happen, is there?Even getting along with you will be very hard.Later I thought, oops!Give up altogether.

He called, and I told him that he wouldn’t want to call me anymore, so that’s it. He called again, and then people love face! Big boss, just like this, I told him not to fight. , He won't bother me anymore, it's over like this.The fate of that time was originally Prince Charming and Snow White, but I believe that if we continue to the next episode, it may also be Chaimiyouyuan, and then noisy and not so beautiful, so I don’t feel sorry at all, I think mine The choice is correct.

So this is a situation that we women need to recognize clearly. If we want to hate the female body, as long as we hear the Buddha's name, we can be misogynistic and turn to male. And in the future, when the lotus is transformed into a lotus, we will be able to look like this Amitabha. , Thirty-two kinds of husband's appearance.I’m going to talk about it today because there’s not much time! So I won’t talk much. I used to talk about it in Malaysia, the Jingzong Society and the Jingzong Society. At this point, I talked about women very well and very deeply. Well, in the next one, the women are gone and the audience is gone. That one is an unprecedented number of people. They have not had so many people to listen to the scriptures for more than ten years, including the four important people who live there. What is the general affairs? ! What kind of..., all of them have never come to listen to the scriptures, and many masters do not come to listen to them.When I went to talk for four or five days, they all came to listen, and they came to listen for several days, and then that day, it seemed like the second or third scene. I forgot, the woman will not be seen the next day. Up.

I was taken aback, ah, didn’t it? I was thinking about how this happened. After a long time, it turned out that there was a festival that day, and then women could hardly go out. Why do you want to come by? I can’t come, why? It happened to make me startled. Did I scold me too badly, say it too badly, and there was another very strange one. He was the most learned man in all of them that day, XNUMX or at least. , Where to find it, we learned that there are hardly as many men as there are women, and there are about sixty or seventy women. Then you see, he would still find it very strange after so many people ran away, but this It’s a fact! We have to recognize this fact so that we will no longer be greedy for this female body, and we will feel that all our packaging, scheming, and everything are not beautiful, not worthy of admiration, not worthy of going again. What we pay attention to is really to cultivate our compassion, our inner self-cultivation, and the outer things are really superficial, and you can't deceive people with real strength and vision.

(XNUMX) Sincere practice in Buddhism is the most rewarding perfection

Well, the fourteenth paragraph of the next vow is "Twenty-fifth May Heaven and Man Respect Vows", "Twenty-Six Wishes Are Famous for Blessings", and "Twenty-Seven Cultivation Vows for Excellence".This paragraph is aimed at people who do not want to die, and Amitabha also takes care of it.Some people come to the dojo, he just wants to cultivate blessings! That's okay! He won't force you to ask for death, you must make big aspirations, or else he won't welcome you, he won't.

As long as you are predestined to enter Buddhism, they will all be treated equally, just saying that they will hope you more, try to promote you, so that you can be big-hearted as soon as possible, then you will not be big-hearted, and you will not blame you. This is not doing business and doing performance here. , But I will try my best to encourage you. If there is really no way to initiate this kind of renunciation, then this wish will take all sentient beings. When you recite the Buddha, you only need to smell the name, you will naturally be happy, and be willing to return after worship. Fate the Three Treasures, take refuge in the Three Treasures and take refuge in Amitabha, then you will be respected by heaven and man in your next life.

Look, if you are just doing good deeds in society like you go to Buddhism, you hear this Buddha name, and after you get blessings, you cultivate blessings in Buddhism, and the retribution is different.If you cultivate your blessings and do charity in the world, it is a big deal that you will be able to gain personal and wealth in the next life, but you may not be able to smell the Dharma, so the blessing of this wish is that you can get blessings.Just by hearing this name, you can get blessings, and in the next life you will be able to fulfil the brahma vows, and the gods will respect you. A true practice, even if it is a family member, the gods in the sky will respect you. Because you are not in the world, there is no way to become a monk! But as long as you practice sincerely, even if you only cultivate blessings, and cultivate blessings in the Three Treasures very religiously and respectfully, people will respect you that day. This is a vow made by Amitabha Buddha, especially When we recite the Buddha, we recite this name. As our practice, it is really supported by all the heavenly dragons and eight parts.

It's all tempting, he has a purpose, he will treat you well, so don't be fooled by his apparent hypocrisy, stupid, if someone treats you well, you just say, "Oh! Good, good." So happy. .

That wish was also a wish that I asked for a world of bliss, which attracted me very much.Because of our world! Real Confucianism also says that it is very difficult and very difficult for you to encounter a confidant in your life, so it is the same for us practitioners!You have to meet real fellow Daoists, and they are of the same level. It’s too difficult. You definitely don’t have people like our monks, especially our preachers, who have become acquainted with and preached everywhere at home and abroad. I’ve been preaching with you for more than ten years. , I have been to many places, and many people are probably some Chinese areas at home and abroad! Then Africa hasn't been to Africa yet, but most of them know about it.

The current situation, then we really, and our Sangha is the same, we have many dojos in the Sangha and we have participated in the school, all kinds of dojos, afterwards, there are reasons to participate in the school, and the academic ones are also Well, whether it’s a three- or four-hundred-year old monastery, there are probably all large and small dojos who have gone to study. This is to be wise after accomplishment! Like the fifty-three ginseng of the student of good fortune, it is not deliberate. It is a natural cause, so the situation of the Sangha is to become a monk, the current state of this, the state of everyone studying the Fa, and the root nature of sentient beings probably have a little idea.It is really not easy to meet like-minded people in this world. There are not many such people. It is not easy for you to meet. Then we can only repent of karma! We have not cultivated well enough, we have to work hard. Promote.

Although we also know that there is a lot of good knowledge, we don't necessarily have causes and conditions to learn and live together. There are certainly many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and many saints in this world, but they do not necessarily have sufficient causes and conditions.Well, after arriving in the Paradise of Bliss, everyone is the kind of knowledge that you enjoy the most. They all come to achieve our Dao Karma. There is absolutely no such thing as doing a lot of small actions in private to hinder our practice. In fact, there are many such people. .

There are many such people in this world, so good people must be good, good people are deceived, and good horses are ridden by people.This is real.But it doesn't matter, because in our world, why the Blessed One wants to become a Buddha in our world? It is because it is bittersweet and there are many obstacles, so that you can achieve your patience and you can truly see through this world.If you don’t have these factors! The benefits of fellow practitioners here are great, and life is very leisurely. You don’t even have the motivation to develop diligent practice. No one comes to bless you. Sometimes I persuade you for a long time, and persuade you too much. You still don't think it's unusual, don't cherish it, he won't charge you, you still don't know how valuable it is.

You don’t need money to listen to the scriptures, and you don’t know how to cultivate blessings, and you don’t even cherish them, and you have a disrespectful mentality. It seems that everyone is coming to make fun with you, acting one by one, doing all the tricks. Come to make you happy, no!It’s because teaching the Fa makes you enlightened, not to accompany you to play and to make connections, so this is not necessarily a good thing for blessings, and it is not necessarily a good thing if everything is good.Then when we have these experiences and experience! You will especially cherish the wish of the world of bliss, Amitabha's wish "There is no evil in the country", the ten virtues are too precious, so we will want to go.

(XNUMX) Rebirth in the world of bliss, everything will be fulfilled

Later, I will talk about the wish that I encountered this method and wanted to go to the Paradise of Bliss.Let's look at the next paragraph first, the sixteenth paragraph thirty-two wishes "Naluoyan body wish", thirty-three wish "Brightness and wisdom plea", thirty-four "good talk about the law".After we die! We can get a body that is not bad, and our wisdom will be as perfect as a Buddha, and discernment will be harmless.We can't talk to people about it now, and we can't scold them if we want to scold them, so we have to be bullied by them! Right?After you rebirth to the world of bliss, you don’t need to exercise, and you speak well. If you want to argue with others, you won’t lose out. This is the blessing of Amitabha’s aspirations.

And the next paragraph: "Thirty-Five Wish to Make up for One's Life", "Thirty-Sixth Cultivation With Will".And after we die! We will make up for the Buddha in our life. This is a Buddha. During our life, we will be able to become a Buddha. And if we can get it without our own practice, we will be able to make up for the Buddha's position. This "Amitabha The three sutras of the Scriptures make it very clear that there are many such people, some have attained arhats, they have a lot of sense of predestination, and some are great bodhisattvas, but in fact they are boundless.

So the enlightenment as you wish means that some people! I feel that this world has a deep relationship with many sentient beings, so for such people, Amitabha also vows, if you come and go, you will come first, and you want to go back right away. It's okay to save these people. I won't say that you are required to go. You must live there to become a Buddha before you can leave. No, you will get all the magical powers as soon as you go.We talked about the six supernatural powers, and all these realms like the Buddha. This is the blessing of Buddha power. You can go to the ten directions right away to teach you at will, depending on where you are going, what body you want to show, and how to go. Cultivation can be done, and we all have that ability.So Amitabha is really selfless. It is purely to help us, and then after giving us these merits and supernatural powers and wisdom, you are up to our minds how you want to use it. It is not that he has no selfish intentions at all, so we are a lot of them now. As for the practitioners of this human bodhisattva, both of them and I have a very good relationship.

It’s hard for you to get a human body in your next life. It’s very difficult for you not to go to the three evil realms. The sentient beings who come to the end of the Dharma, who can regain the human body in the next life, just like our nails, grab a handful of soil, there is so little soil in the nails, and they cannot get the human body as much as the earth. The soil, do we have the ability and means to win the human body?not necessarily.

Even if you get a human body, you have to go through the bardo for forty-nine days, and you will have the first seven at the fastest!Then you judge! All kinds of levels will make you reincarnate.But when we go to the world of bliss, we will arrive in an instant, and then you will arrive in an instant and come back when you come back. Therefore, if you really want to practice the path of Bodhisattva, you must do it in all sects. If you want to become a Buddha, you must go through the path of the bodhisattva, and the journey of the bodhisattva must be completed.But, you have to have a method. Some selfishness, so people can’t accept it, you really can’t help them; or we don’t have enough wisdom, we really have worked very hard, tried every means, and I feel really selfless, and we have done our best If you are selfless, people still don't appreciate it, and the predestined relationship is not sufficient. There is no way.Only by going to the world of bliss can we truly be busy with our great compassion in practicing the bodhisattva path, and truly be able to benefit ourselves and others.

You see, many housewives have to cook three meals a day, and sometimes have late nights, and are busy with these things all day. That’s because we are young and still have to work. When you rebirth to the world of bliss, all these have been solved, and you have everything you want, no work, why?I’m not lazy, I think we don’t know how to do business since we were young. In that case, everyone has to pay, but the feeling is different. It is not that we ask for each other, but that we all actively contribute to each other. Isn't that good?Right? So everyone should know that the more we go to places where people give unconditionally, the more we must know how to cherish respect, the more we must know how to give, we must grasp this cause and condition, build good causes for ourselves, and don’t just because people don’t tell you. If you don't care about it, you will desperately take advantage of it, and then you will be wrong.

Our monks are originally just showing this appearance, you are eligible to be supported by the ten directions. You don’t have to be like us to save sentient beings. You only need to do morning and evening classes. There is a saying in the jungle that "knowledge is for food." You just have to fix the morning and evening. In class, it’s okay if you are practicing, because this image itself has merit! You go out for a walk, and you have cultivated good roots for many people, right? You have merit.

It’s enough for you to be truly practicing. No matter how well you’re cultivating, there is no layman, no, no, why are you being offered by the Ten Fangs and Three Jewels? Of course, the Ten Fangs and Three Jewels are the offerings of joy. Very happy, why?If they have earned it, they want to cultivate blessings! Right? If you want to provide for sentient beings, you must also cultivate blessings. Then you have to be smarter, and you have to learn. People can do it, are they that stupid?He must have his experience, he will be so motivated! Some great protectors are motivated, right? You must learn, make good use of the resources of the ten directions, plant it yourself, and plant it honestly. Good seeds, of course you will reap the rewards for the reasons you plant, and no one can take them away.Everyone should learn to be smarter. Really give up big things, and don't give up small things. If you don't give up, you don't have to. If you don't give up, you don't necessarily have opportunities, and you don't necessarily have opportunities.

Some people! Earn money for a lifetime, old age, oops!His conscience is tense, but his karma is too heavy. He wants to use the money to support his sins, as if to make up for his sins. In fact, this space overlaps. The world of bliss is here, but we can’t see it. Hell is also here. If you do bad things, you will have ghosts and ghosts around you! He is the same as us! Space is just whether there is a cause or condition that touches the above, different spaces, micro-spaces, so if we know how to open this door of communication with Amitabha, we will now go to the Paradise of Bliss, and now we can see Amitabha.

Then we can't see it now because our karma is blocked, our sincerity is not enough, we are disrespectful, sincere, and dependent on the Three Jewels, the so-called refuge! Really relying on, that heart is not enough, we can't see it! The proof is not enough! This is nothing to say, nothing to say, so we have to be ashamed and diligent. We have no achievements now, and then there will be no chance of getting out of breath soon! You may not encounter the Dharma in the next life, everyone must Know that our situation is like this.

But many people take it lightly, oops!There is only one name, it seems to memorize many sutras and many mantras! It seems that there are more merits, this is a mistake, I see, we ordinary people use our own ideas to imagine! From the point of view of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, sentient beings are the simplest, children, Old Bodhisattvas can be held, and then the most convenient and simplest way to hold is the best method, for sure! From this perspective, so we must learn from the perspective of the Buddha and Bodhisattva to understand it. Will be enlightened.Don’t imagine yourself. It can be established! What else are you afraid of?Do you believe in Buddha?Believe it? Are you willing to go? Do you have confidence in your death now? It's such a simple thing! Right?Let me give another example. There are too many scriptures to prove that I don’t have to worry about my bad precepts, I can die if I break the precepts.

Our patriarch, Master Dharma, said: "The Buddha proclaims his oath because of his neutrality." This is Amitabha. He swears! "I will always welcome you when you are famous." You just need to name him and he will come. "Not simply being poor will make you rich", whether you have money or no money. "Don't be wise and talented", whether you are clever or stupid. "Don't be simple, listen to more and keep pure precepts", no matter how much you listen to the scriptures or not, keeping the precepts is not pure. "If you fail to break the precepts, the sin is deep." He will not despise you even if you break the precepts. "But if you can recite more Buddha, you can turn the rubble into gold." We were originally tattered rubble! It's worthless, and people who recite Buddha right now are like gold. It’s the Master! Fentoriva, Not ordinary people.

As long as we really rely on the Buddha! The Buddha’s merits and virtues are too strong, and see if you dare to rely on it, whether you are willing to accept it, take it straight, and Zen can be enlightened because he can take it straight. We recite the Dharma. The ability to build confidence in the rebirth depends on whether you can take it straight and what to take on it?We don’t have anything to do with ourselves, we don’t have anything, we take on Amitabha’s vows and accept it. His forty-eight vows will be given to us. We believe it. Now we are in harmony with Amitabha Buddha. What should we worry about? So our Buddhist chanters are called Fentoriva!

The officials will worship with you, right?Are our identities different from others? Buddhism chanters, true Buddhism chanters are not ordinary people. They will definitely become Buddhas in this life. It does not mean that we are in the world. How many conditions do we have to become Buddha is very simple, because Amitabha does not What conditions are required of us.

He made a vow to save sentient beings in the ten directions! So our only condition is to have good roots, merits, and karma. As stated in the Amitabha Sutra, there are no conditions. If you break the precepts, you can die. "There is a lot of it! Five inverses and ten evils can be reborn, and all of them can be reborn. This is in line with what Amitabha Buddha said! He must save the three evil ways of beings! We are not as bad as the three evil ways of beings! Right? ? It is also obvious in the "Guan Jing" that if you break the precept, you can die, so there are no conditions, and no one has missed it.

Only you have to have good roots, merits, and karma. We have karma and whether there are good roots. It depends on whether you believe it or not, whether you have merit, whether you want to accept it, or whether you are willing to take it straight and accept the benefits that have fallen from the sky. Only when we are sincere and innocent can we believe that there is such a good, so compassionate Buddha, and such a selfless Buddha in the world. The Three Jewels can really benefit us. We don’t talk about transactions and conditions. We don’t have that belief. , Without the good root, then you, people give it to you, of course you can’t believe it! You can’t take it straight, because you yourself can’t be so good to others, so you can’t believe that others will treat us so well. This is the good root. Therefore, we must first. To learn Buddhism, we must first start with believing in Buddhism.

You need to truly take refuge, take refuge in the Buddha, take refuge in the law, take refuge in the monk, and further the Dharma you have learned. Through the Dharma taught by the monk, you can truly understand, believe, receive, and then follow the teachings. This is an inevitable process without a foundation. No respect, no real refuge in the heart, no matter how many nouns you listen to, no matter how many terms you memorize, no matter how nicely you speak, even if you have really done a lot of blessings, it is useless. They are all fake.

You may not even know that it is fake, because many sentient beings are greedy, hateful, and idiotic! Many rules are not learned. This is normal. Many people are like this, and they don’t know it! So you You will understand when you listen to the scriptures, listen to the scriptures respectfully, and then listen to it, and you will know, oh! It turns out that I am like this, we are really evil in this world! Go, you don’t have to take fifty steps and a hundred steps, it’s almost the same, so you have to rely on the Buddha! It’s dead if you don’t rely on the Buddha.

If you don’t rely on the Three Treasures, there is really no way to go. If you don’t believe it, go to that by yourself, be strong! Let you fight for decades! You think you are! You are amazing! On the surface, everything is good, Christine Respectfully, I only believe in myself in my heart. If you go for a few decades and see, sooner or later you will still realize! Really we can't accomplish anything by ourselves. Without the blessing of the Three Jewels, we have nothing but karma. Power, our life is here to be rewarded.

Why can we die?Because of Amitabha, when we recite the Buddha's power for blessings, the karma disappears right now.Like a piece of snow close to the furnace! Isn't it snowing all over here?The white pile of snow puts it next to the stove, does it immediately melt away? Oh! This is the metaphor, so no matter how serious our sins and karma, as long as this Buddha name is our sincere thoughts, it will work and it will be connected with it. , Any karma can be eliminated.

Even if we have depression! Our career has failed! The family is broken, and even the family member has passed away. All kinds of evil and hardships are not afraid of all kinds of difficulties. If you are not afraid of all kinds of difficulties, you can recite the Buddha well. If you recite the Buddha sincerely, chanting a Buddha name can kill you. Eight billion kalpas are a felony of life and death, and the creditor is not afraid of any wrongdoer. Someone tells you something in the ear. When you are weak, the wrongdoer will come close to you. So this time is very important. You must rely on it. Going to Buddha power, only Buddha can save you. People are unreliable. Everyone has his karma.

Then our Three Treasures are to tell you the method, you have to listen to what you have to do, you have to rely on the Buddha in your heart, truly respectful and have faith in the Buddha's name, you can recite it, all big and small things can be solved. There is nothing that cannot be solved. If you don't have such confidence, you can't solve any small things. Don't talk about big things. There are too many inductions.For thousands of years, for more than two thousand years, we have had too many inductions. Cancer can be cured. Depression is very simple. He can't think about it because there are too many difficulties in life in the world! Those who have no money, those who have lost their status, those who have lost their emotions.. All these, he can't bear the pressure. Normally, everyone is afraid of pain!Some people can bear it, and some people cannot bear it, so some situations will arise.

Then when you are weak, the relatives and creditors will come to you. At this time, you will get worse and worse. If you don’t want a solution, rely on the Buddha power, all the methods in the world can help you solve it. All can only be temporary. Stop it. It's useless to see a doctor. For example, if you go to see a doctor for cancer, the doctor doesn't tell you to cut it off, and then cut it again when you come out the other day. Cut it all at once. That's not a complete solution.Only by relying on the Buddha to beat the heart and turn from the heart, after our mind is turned, all of our external environment, including our body cells, will turn.

We will change our mood first, our thoughts and moods first, all the things we lost will be gained again in the future, and it will be better. Don’t worry about everything we have lost in front of us. The pain is immersed in it. You have been immersed in the pain. Come, he thinks you are weak now! You are weak, you are in a bad mood, look good and bully, you are sick and in a bad health, and you are in a bad mood. You will be miserable, and the creditor will come, so you have to Be careful, there are many such things, this world! These accidents happen everywhere, so I have to practice.

Then, the next paragraph: "If the Buddha is alive", this is the teaching in the "Guanyin Method": "If the Buddha is alive, if the Buddha is extinguished...the pure land, it will last for a hundred years, down to seven days a day, ten three sounds When your life is about to end, the Buddha and the holy people will welcome many and you will be reborn.” Is there any? Ten, three, or one! He didn’t say you have to recite hundreds or tens of thousands. No, even if you can't read this one, we are still active in your consciousness. As long as we are convinced of our desire, our desire to live will not be broken.

"But back to my heart, recite Amitabha's wish to live in the Pure Land." No matter if you have studied for hundreds of years, you have recitation for several decades, or if you encounter it when you are a beginner, then you will die. Then you will have three, ten, and one. , It’s okay, you can die the same, so it’s very simple, it’s not whether we have the skill, but whether we believe in the Buddha or not.There is no problem with the Buddha itself. Forty-eight wishes were completed before ten kalpas. The merits and wisdom are all completed. Therefore, there will be no accidents or situations. The key is whether we can believe in Buddha and whether we are really willing to go. In this world of greed, if you talk about it with your mouth, it turns out that wealth, sex, fame, food, and sleep are more important. If you don’t even listen to the scriptures, you say you really want to die. Don’t cheat. Fellow Taoists, you can't fool me, let alone Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

When the sky is falling, it’s not important to cultivate, no, nothing is more important than listening to the scriptures, listening to the Dharma, and practicing. That’s true, so I said that if you really are a more eccentric person, there is no one who does not become a monk. This is even more thorough! Let go of all your body and mind, this is it! You have to do it! It's not your mouth! Who can't speak with your mouth! You sometimes lie to yourself! He lie to yourself too! Yeah, so you don’t have to talk so much before you do it.

Look back at how much you have done. There is nothing you can do if you can’t, but you have to be ashamed, ah! It turns out that my level is so bad, and my renunciation is really weak! It’s only occasionally when I encounter difficulties. Think of the Buddha, and when it’s a good thing, you leave the Buddha aside. That’s it! Then your heart is still in the five desires and six dusts, aren’t you real! Don’t you really want to leave this world! That’s the hardest thing. Believe in Buddhism and have aspirations.

Believing is very difficult. For a person who has no good roots and merits, it is very difficult and very difficult. Is it difficult for a person who does not believe that he does not believe in his life?So those of us who can believe in our wishes are not ordinary people, not joking.If everyone really understands, I hope we have listened to these forty-eight, and you can truly take it in your heart and be able to agree accordingly: "Yeah! What the master said is not wrong." We are not encouraging the description, it seems to exaggerate this to cheer you up, no, This is telling the truth, you really believe it, you will definitely become a Buddha in this life. If you die first, don't forget to come back to pick us up and bring Amitabha to pick us up. Everyone has gotten fate! Right?It’s more lively. Amitabha and all the saints are here. It’s so lively. We have some fellow practitioners who have good roots, and some old Bodhisattvas are really honest.

When we pray, we take everyone to worship first, and there is no special way to teach you how to feel, because First understand the forty-eight wishes, then if we really have this desire, we must learn how to interact with Amitabha Buddha, because we are usually very alienated from people, and it is difficult for you to associate with people, then you It’s even more difficult to have a relationship with Amitabha Buddha, but the Buddha can’t see it, right?So we have to learn, we have to learn.

When we are worshiping Buddha! The first one is that we must truly devote ourselves to taking refuge in the Three Jewels! To truly take refuge in Amitabha, we must rely on the Buddha both physically and mentally, because no one in this world can rely on. If you don’t rely on the Buddha, you won’t be able to. Just rely on it! At least you have the only way.Now that you have chosen to rely on the Buddha, then you must find a way to truly rely on it, and you have to rely more and more tightly, and you must first have such a wish.

You have to imagine that this is your VIP room. There is only you. This place exists for you alone.You pray intently, you talk to Amitabha, you talk to him intently, not talking! If you are in a good mood today, you will be very happy to recite this Buddha's name. Of course, the tune of our prayers is mainly to make everyone cry because our karma has not disappeared yet. ! You can have different moods. What is your current mood? If you feel wronged, just tell him. In chanting the Buddha sign, you can perfuse your mood and emotions in the Buddha sign. Our daughter-in-law abused me again! So what..." Needless to say, Buddha Amitabha has magical powers, you only need to recite his name, and he will know everything you want in your heart. Recite the Buddha and let nature take its course. Whatever mood you are in, any mood can be used on this Buddha name. Of course, this tone, because it can guide us, so there are some tunes, we can directly call it, or we can say that there are various kinds of tunes. For different tunes and different moods, if we want to make a soundtrack, we will choose a different soundtrack. Like I usually call it directly, Amitabha, Amitabha, or Nanmo Amitabha.

We are in the process of naming, because naming is more durable and not tiring, so you can recite all day long, and then whether you are praising or singing, you can hear your voice when you concentrate, and you can hear your voice. It seems very boring, right?Often some people are very boring, then when you are reading, you will say that kind of lonely voice, or you are very happy and grateful, as if Amitabha was our lover and missed it.

When you are thinking of a person, do you miss your son! Your son hasn't come to see you! I think Mr. and Mr. ran off to have an affair, what should I do?It’s useless to think about it for a long time! Just think of Amitabha with this kind of mood. Amitabha will never let you down. When you recite and think of him, you will feel the Dao friendship. This cause will be planted, and any mood will be affected. It can be used in this Buddha sign to associate with Amitabha, so that you will become more and more familiar with him, and get closer to him, and even at the end of the recitation, you will really see the Buddha appear.Think day by day, dream by night! You will see in the dream, and even He will appear in front of your eyes. This is true.There are also some that are chanting and chanting, and Amitabha will come down from that image. There are really many examples of this, some are on the deathbed, some are in the present.

There is a mage in Japan who is walking through the sutras, and he is walking among the seven Buddhas. Then he saw Amitabha come down from this portrait and talked to him. He told him, reminded him, and said, "You are too slow." "It means that you have to work harder and reach the Paradise earlier, and then because of this allusion and this fact, there is an Amitabha in Japan, which is to make him like that image! That is, when Amitabha turned his head, the Buddha walked there. In front of him, he turned around and said this sentence to him. He commemorated this incident and made a statue of Amitabha Buddha turning back.

Then we heard some fellow practitioners who passed away. They were reciting the Buddha in the room two or three days before they were alive. He is usually very diligent in the old Bodhisattva. Amitabha walked down from the portrait three times in a row, and he was very polite. ! In Malaysia, an old man in his nineties.He walked down, and then his wife asked him, how did you react when Amitabha walked down?He said no, and I clasped my hands together and said, "いらっしゃいませ", which is a welcome and polite old gentleman who doesn’t know what to say. It’s fun. Then, for the third time, I saw it three times. In the few days before his death, he saw the Three Saints for the third time and saw many scenes.

People who are dying are especially easy to see, and some people will usually see it, that is, you are too close to him, and there are some patriarchs, masters of good guidance, and our second ancestor of Jingzong. He has been reciting the Buddha for less than three years. Now he has witnessed the chanting of Buddhism, he can see the scene of the world of bliss, Amitabha, and in his dream, taught him how to practice this chanting of Buddhism, he is actually his deity! But he has been reborn as a human being! Then in his dream His deity, the Buddha has three bodies! Dharma body, incarnation, and saṃṭṭhāna are always a way of interaction for them, and there are records in this sutra.

There are too many of these and too many examples of these, so this is true, don’t think for yourself, because we all beings don’t understand, many don’t understand, and those beyond our own common sense and knowledge feel impossible, unbelief, and impossible. That's because we are the frogs at the bottom of the well! We think we are great, and we think we are great, but we don't know anything and laugh to death. Of course, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas don't care about us, but this is true.

When we discover for ourselves, Oh, it turns out that we are so bad and evil, we feel very ashamed, so the truly enlightened person must show more and more humility, because we have discovered that we are really nothing, worthless, and sinful. Ordinary people, otherwise you won’t come to be a human! Simply put, everyone is the same. You don’t need to laugh at anyone. The only difference is whether you are enlightened or not. People who are not enlightened will really laugh at others. I feel that I am very powerful. The enlightened person is very humble and admits that he is not good, and then works hard to improve. This kind of person respects you.

We don’t have to be afraid to admit that we are not good. Knowing shame is close to courage in this Confucian sense! You know shame, you really see that you are really nothing. This is a person who is truly courageous, a person who is truly courageous. , And you can only improve when you see the facts clearly! Well, this is the way of chanting Buddha. In general, one of the keys is to grasp the trick, which is how to be in the Buddha's name, regardless of the tune of prayer, at any time It's all the same. You just use your mood in the Buddha's account to communicate and associate with Amitabha Buddha. This way, it will be boring and you will be very attentive. You will have samādhi before you know it, and you will naturally get samādhi if you don't want to experience samādhi.

Master Shandao taught in the city of Chang'an. Within three years, many monks at home and many people have attained samādhi chanting. We don’t have to ask for it, and it’s easy to attain samādhi. You think every day: "Is my delusion a little bit less? Are you single-minded?" I tell you, you don't want to achieve it in your life.We are very simple, ask nothing, and communicate with Amitabha Buddha very sincerely and attentively. Unknowingly, you don’t want to realize the samādhi of Buddhism. This is an incidental gift, and it does not mean that you have to be like this in order to die. So everyone knows.
