Yesterday... I mentioned to fellow practitioners that our respect for seeking the Dharma should be implemented? So today, many fellow practitioners have good roots. Hearing a little reminder from us, today everyone can be seated on time, but let’s take a look at the comparison of women. There is good root.But I believe that men are usually busy. The reason why they can't enter the venue on time as much as possible is because they have to take time out of their busy schedule. This is also very rare.
So yesterday we learned from the forty-eight vows of the "Blessed Life Sutra", the first vow: "The Taoist Wish of No Evil in the Country" and the second vow: "The Wish of Not Falling into Evil".From the deep meaning hidden in these two wishes, many of our fellow practitioners with deep roots of goodness have been able to realize the great compassion of Amitabha towards us that is superior to the Buddhas.At the same time, I also understand the special deep bond between Amitabha Buddha and us.The most important thing is...we are able to grasp the method of interacting with Amitabha more accurately than ever before.That is to say, from the heart of Amitabha Buddha and the behavior of Amitabha Buddha, we have to experience this with our heart, so that we can directly connect with Amitabha Buddha.
If we can experience it sincerely from the heart, then our destiny in the future will definitely be the top grade. After we die, we will see the Buddha immediately and go straight to the retribution.This is what we have understood in the past, as long as we can die in the next generation, it will be Amitabha.Even after the death, he can at most be born in the land where the sages live together.This is a completely different result, so what we want to bring to you in this lecture is the most complete result, the most extraordinary result, and we also hope that fellow practitioners... will be able to get peace of mind and achieve the consummation of this method now! Rather than having to worry every day, we have to wait until the end of life to be sure of being able to die. This goal can be achieved by all of us.
(XNUMX) Experience the great compassion of Amitabha Buddha (Part XNUMX of XNUMX)
So the next thing we have to learn is the third wish among the forty-eighth: "The golden wish for the body."Fourth wish: "Thirty-two wishes."And the fifth vow: "The vow that there is no difference in the body". Among these three vows, it can help us to deeply understand the great compassion of Amitabha that surpasses the Buddhas.
We usually...we often hear admiring the great compassion of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. What we learned yesterday was to experience the great compassion of Amitabha! Then we may feel a little more relaxed after studying this part.But it is always necessary to eliminate the karma first, first experience the compassion of Amitabha Buddha, let us develop a heart of repentance and shame, and then learn to learn this method with a little heart.
Then the next few vows to learn today are the vows that Amitabha Buddha made to help us break off our worries and meet our various needs. Generally speaking, we can roughly understand it; our Dharma training is nothing but to help us. Get rid of my two attachments, then the most important ego of sentient beings lies in appearance. This is a very attachment to me, this person, and my body!It can be said that most of the troubles are caused by this ego!Therefore, Buddha Amitabha is very wise. He made these three vows first to help us get rid of the heaviest worries and the roughest worries. Then we will be able to practice more smoothly.
Let’s take a look at a scripture first: "When I was a Buddha, all sentient beings in the world of ten directions gave birth to me. They all had a purple-milled true golden body. They had thirty-two kinds of male appearances. They were pure and clean and understood the same type. If there are differences in appearance There are ugly people who do not take enlightenment. "There are three wishes in this passage: "The body is golden, thirty-two, and the body is indistinguishable." This "the golden wish for the body to be fully understood", this wish represents...the old layman Huang Nianzu wrote in the "Blessed Life Sutra", He has an explanation from the Master Yinshandao: "The Buddhas want to live permanently and remain unchanged, but the old is golden." Therefore, the expression of this wish is actually to live and remain unchanged. Let us not think that we are dead, all They are all golden. Some people don't like golden ones, some people like white ones, and some people like pink ones. They all have different preferences, so we must learn the scriptures to understand its true inner meaning.

In addition, there are two wishes. "Thirty-two phases" represents the perfect phase, and this "no difference in the body" is the equal phase. If we are reborn into the bliss world, we will all be equal and complete the phase, then if this The phase cannot be maintained forever, just as we have birth, aging, sickness and death now, then these vows are equal to gray hair, so these three vows are also indispensable.Then why do you say that this external minister is our most serious trouble!Let’s start with the women, who have a particularly serious problem with this aspect.From the age of thirteen or fourteen, I began to like to look in the mirror, and I have been watching for pimples all day long, and then whether my body has become more beautiful, and I am starting to become an adult!Then gradually when you were seventeen or eighteen, you started to buy cosmetics, until you were a teenager, and you don’t know how much money and energy you spent on this appearance, it would be worse if you look a little uglier than others. .Since I was a child, I have a sense of inferiority complex, so that personality will be weird, and I don't like others.Then this is an internal trouble again. If the more beautiful tribute is slow, and it looks sacred and inviolable, then it is sure that the interpersonal relationship is not good, so it will really derive a lot from the appearance. The problem.Even men are the same. Men are not only women, but men also have physical problems. If there are many differences in appearance, it should be psychologically affected. Otherwise, there are many men’s beauty salons and their business is quite good. Ok.Why should I care about maintenance? That's for sure... I also care about these things in my heart, but what I care more about is the difference. This body is indistinguishable. In fact, it covers a wide range of meanings, not just our body, including ours. Power, status, and the difference between the rich and the poor, etc...The resulting problem is even greater.It's so small...especially men are doing careers, and competition is incompatible in all aspects; it's so big that the entire country causes wars and world turmoil. This is all because of various differences.So it is true that Buddha Amitabha is very wise, and he immediately thought of helping us to get rid of these troubles, because he hopes that we can become Buddhas as soon as we die, so he first issued these three vows to help us get rid of these heaviest troubles.
(XNUMX) Experience the great compassion of Amitabha Buddha (fourth of four)
Then, if we want to get rid of these troubles in this world, is there any way? The forty-nine years of Buddha Shakyamuni’s lectures are really painstaking. How do you talk about this? From the perspective of each sect, but we are very Clearly, we can see that the various injustices and turmoil in the world before us have been reduced? No.This is very obvious, we know that using persuasion is really useless for us who are strong and difficult beings.But it is not a question of the law. The law itself is not wrong, and we cannot do it.We have heard that some people with deep roots of goodness are willing to accept and try hard to practice; but what if you can't do it? There is only Amitabha...there is a way, what way!He simply didn't persuade him. It's wonderful to directly meet our requirements, so that we don't need to fix our troubles and we will break off naturally.
So it is a great kindness, from here you can see the heart of Amitabha.It's like a mother. How can this little child teach and persuade, but just refuse to listen. What should I do if he doesn't listen? Alright!Then I will do it for you, the house is messed up and not tidy up, okay!I will sort it out for you, and have caused a lot of misfortunes outside. The habits are very bad and there is no way!I'll take care of the mess for you.Isn't the mother like this? The Buddha Amitabha really said, because he has already seen through it, we who are sinful and suffering, there is indeed no way to do it, so we simply came up with this method of peace and happiness.Our Pure Land Method is the Anle Method so that we don’t need to practice anymore, we don’t have to work hard to cultivate, haha, just think of some clever methods.
This method is very effective, very effective, because when we die, each of us will be able to obtain the full thirty-two aspects. This thirty-two aspect is also an expression. All the solemnity has reached the highest level, and everyone is equal. , The worries caused by the difference of that kind of difference are gone.Not only there is none, but these various solemnities will never change. You see that these three wishes are perfectly worthy. Since everyone is satisfied in this respect, the habit of our ordinary beings is to have the best in everything and the most complete in everything. , Everything is lower than the high and low compared to others... Always have to fight for the first place, in all aspects, whether it is appearance, power status, this habit is too heavy.It's not easy to be judged, so Amitabha simply satisfied us. Now that we are satisfied, there is no problem.We don’t even have the preconditions for the birth of troubles, so it is really suitable for us to study. Apart from the method set by Buddha Amitabha, it can really help us to cut off the troubles and become the Buddha. How about the methods taught by the other ten Buddhas? It is useless for us to speak hard.So this method is really aimed at us, and it fits the special method we have opened.

When someone pays attention to you, it might make you uncomfortable, so I’ll tell you something about me. In the past...it was a process of struggling to change to a vegetarian diet. Actually, I was a vegetarian very early, probably in my twenties, and in my early twenties. I was not vegetarian because of studying Buddhism, but because Dr. Lei Jiunan advocated a living diet. At that time, I was just In order to maintain health, and at the same time to do a little bit for this environmental protection work, the most important thing is to hope that I can be healthy.So I made my mind to be a vegetarian, so because this motivation is self-interested and altruistic, so it's pretty smooth. Once I started eating, I continued to eat for about three or four months, but it's not really that way. Clean, sometimes think of eating meat, especially I like chicken drumsticks the most.Now that I am not tempted, I am not tempted a long time ago.
It was really hard at the beginning when I was quitting, why? Because I was the eldest granddaughter, and then I stuck to my grandparents all day when I was young. Our three-generation grandfather is the largest and very majestic.Then grandpa is the biggest, and I am older than grandpa, so every time we have chicken drumsticks in the family, we have one. I am used to eating, but the others are okay. I am not very interested in other fish and seafood.
So since I was little to grow up for more than XNUMX years, I really ate a lot of Amitabha Buddha. At that time, for about three or four months, I often thought of it as chicken drumsticks. When I thought of drooling, other things were okay. Then one day I thought , I started to make excuses for myself, and I said: Anyway! It doesn’t matter if I eat a bit, I only eat chicken drumsticks. I haven’t eaten anything else and it shouldn’t hurt my body too much. Then I heard that eating beef is good for me. Environmental protection is more harmful. It seems to say that the carbon dioxide emitted by the world to raise cattle is more polluting than the total number of vehicles and vehicles in the world. So I think I don’t eat beef anyway. This chicken drumstick is better, anyway. For a lot of reasons...Finally gathered up the courage and ran to buy two chicken drumsticks.I haven't eaten it for a long time, so I bought two at a time, and then took one in the right hand and one in the left. I happily wanted a good meal.
As a result, I almost vomited out after the bite enthusiastically. I didn't expect it, because it smelled quite fragrant, and I felt very sick as soon as I bite it down.I now think that there is still a little reaction, that is, the feeling is that because there is a kind of fuel consumption, in fact, our body, if you don’t eat it for a few months, after no more similar food enters the body, in fact, its body has already begun to physiology. Reacted... changed.

So when the same thing comes in, it's a bit strange, it's not as delicious as we thought, but it's actually okay. At that time, because I didn't give up, I would eat it first before talking; if I insist on pressing it down I'm afraid that the idea of deliciousness is still there, and the more I think about it, the more delicious it is. For my basic nature, I simply face the reality.As a result, it was completely broken when I ate it. Later, it was disgusting to think that the chicken thigh was not very delicious, and it was really broken, but I was a bit more troublesome. If I can cut it directly, I cut it directly. Really When it doesn’t work, it’s not bad if you can bear it for a few months. I think the effect is really good.
In fact, this principle is the same for me. If you want me to be as hard as a stone, I am afraid that the effect will not be very good for me, and it does not fit my foundation. Like many things, I must make it clear. After I figured it out, let it go naturally. If I were to force myself to deceive myself, I'm afraid that the sequelae would rebound even more. This is fundamental to my nature.
So Amitabha actually knows us well, and he really loves us very much. When he loves us, it is almost like a mother pampering her children. Anyway, He wants to help us get rid of this trouble and help us become a Buddha quickly. And he knows us very well, and this trick is very effective for us, so I just made these wishes to satisfy us. This is the method of peace and happiness. From another aspect, this skillfully helps us get rid of these vices.
So what about the thirty-two phases... Let’s briefly mention a few here. There are too many thirty-two types, and we don’t have enough time here. I will simply cite a few more important ones, which are more personal to us. Yes, in the thirty-two phases, there is a desire to have a phase, that is, a long tongue and a long tongue. To feel this good, at least the third life must not play liars, and the third life does not play liars, and the tongue can reach the nose. Here, so you go back and look in the mirror to see if you get to the nose. If you get to the nose, it means that this person has not lied for at least three lives.I’m afraid it’s very difficult for us ordinary beings not to speak lie in one day, not to mention the three lives, three lifetimes, I’m afraid it’s not easy. Then if the three great aspirants don’t lie, the tongue will cover this forehead. This is only The Buddha's appearance.So here, through the thirty-two phases, we specifically cite this item to remind everyone that if we don’t lie, not only can we feel this good phase in the future, but we can avoid a lot of it now. Opportunities to create karma, because this is the precept of our five most basic precepts, don’t lie.

Many fellow practitioners, especially those we learned, I found that many older fellow practitioners did not even have the Three Guilds, let alone the Five Precepts.The lecture tour for more than a month did indeed make this discovery. It may be that some fellow practitioners had a misunderstanding of this precept. The old monk didn't particularly emphasize it. In fact, we were not careful enough.The old monk once said that he didn’t seem to be very active in persuading people to ask for the five precepts. In case they do not hold well and break the precepts! It’s even more troublesome. Some fellow practitioners came to ask me questions like this. I said you misunderstood. The meaning of this statement, in fact, the old monk often speaks with deep meaning in it. It is not to advise you not to take the precepts. How could it be possible!
In fact, I really hope that after you take the precepts, you will be held well, so we must be very careful to understand the meaning of the old monk’s saying, because some fellow practitioners misunderstood this situation. In fact, Old monks often said that the Five Precepts are the basics of life. Even if you don’t ask for the Five Precepts, have you made any mistakes?Have.You kill, do you want to go to jail if you kill someone?Yes! The laws of the world.
So let’s talk about Buddhism in more detail. Is there any cause and effect when you kill sentient beings?Have.It’s not that you didn’t take the precepts and you didn’t take the precepts. It doesn’t mean that if you didn’t take the precepts, there would be no cause and effect, right? Then you say yes, then I am afraid that I can’t do it after taking the precepts. ?Don’t worry! In fact, no one can hold to Consummation, including when we become a monk, how do we hold the 348 precepts? We women! There are only five precepts, and we have 348 precepts. It is impossible to achieve Consummation, so don't we all stop taking the precepts? Because we are afraid of breaking the precepts.Therefore, we must be clear about this commandment. Our precepts are only good for us and there is no harm. Don’t be afraid of breaking the precepts. You can repent. There is only one person who can hold the true precepts to perfection. Who do you know?Not an old monk, but a Buddha.The old monk still looks like a human being. He always has a little flawed beauty occasionally. He is a little closer to us. It's too perfect. It doesn't look like a human being.But of course we can't see the teacher's shortcomings in our eyes.It would be too arrogant if we say this, it won't work.We are also at fault in the precepts, and only the Buddha is the real Consummation.
So if you understand from this principle, you will know that you will not be afraid if you break the precepts, and you will know what we are ultimately going to pay attention to.If we take the precepts, it means that we want to be diligent, we want to truly practice and practice! If you have this mind, and then you ask for precepts, you will naturally feel the patron saint, the five precepts Five guardian gods, then there is a guardian god, of course; then you are different, it is easier for you to maintain the precepts, and it is easier to reach Consummation, and it is equivalent to having the guardian god by your side, do we feel more at ease when we come and go? One point, it is not the same if you have a precept, you feel that you are not an ordinary person, and you have good friends and guardians around you, and you feel very stable.
And after you ask for the precepts, righteousness is generated in your heart. If you send your mind to learn the precepts, you will be righteous, and a force of strength will be generated. Your whole person walks with your head up and your chest up.It doesn't matter when we don't hold well, we should repent immediately. It is because we don't hold well, so we can develop repentance. This heart is also a kind of spiritual growth.If people are too arrogant and don't know how to repent, it is also very troublesome. Asking for precepts, learning and practicing, and discovering their own shortcomings, then this is exactly the motivation to help us humble and help us to be more positive.If you don't ask for acceptance and don't see your own faults, is there no fault? Yes.It's even worse if you didn't see it, and of course you won't repent if you didn't see it, so the Five Precepts are the most basic.
Fortunately, this time our fellow practitioners in Mahalari also have good roots. There are several other fellow practitioners who have also taken the initiative to convert the five precepts. And this time I came back and some fellow practitioners told me; last time I asked. It’s been a month since they took the precepts. They really feel very stable in their hearts. They feel very happy. They have no trouble after taking the precepts. This is completely a wrong view of their own. They hinder themselves and don’t take responsibility. Pushing to the old monk's side, it is impossible for the old monk to not encourage others to take precepts.He is worried that some of you, in case you think that you can enter Buddhism without precepts or precepts, or other concerns, so he is unwilling to ask you to be so strict.You have to listen to the inner meaning of him clearly, so this... thirty-two equivalence, to have a wide and long tongue, first of all, we must start to cultivate this cause from the five precepts. Of course, once we are born, these are all sufficient. However, if we can start cultivating this cause now, then we can feel the retribution right now. We are not saying that we are asking for rebirth, and we don’t pay attention to anything in our lives and don’t improve. In this way, it doesn’t correspond to this method. of.

You can truly appreciate the wishes and actions of Buddha Amitabha. You will naturally want to correct our body and mind, and will naturally chant the Buddha diligently.So it is necessary for us to learn here, how to keep the precepts? How to recite the Buddha? In this way, we will know how to master the correct method when we have really developed this mind of intensive study.Where do you do it? For example, yesterday, I reminded you a little bit that everyone should pay attention to the time when you sit down. This is directly related to a kind of respect for the Fa-seeking. But the fellow practitioners did not do it before because no one reminded them.If we don't know how to do it, we haven't paid attention to this aspect of the problem. So even if we have the intention to practice hard work, we must know how to master it so that our study can go smoothly.
So I feel that our fellow practitioners in Malaysia are indeed very virtuous and meritorious, but we often hear that many fellow practitioners seem to be unable to work hard for a long time in their studies. That is to say, they have not paid special attention to these small places. Sometimes when I listen to the scriptures, I can’t fully grasp the main points, sometimes I misunderstood, I have the opportunity to ask but I dare not ask... Today I will continue to talk about it, so if we really have a problem, we can ask, so even if we have the intention to cultivate To learn, we still need to study very carefully, how to implement these methods in life, then this is a broad and long tongue in the thirty-two equivalents.
In addition, there is also a smooth skin. This wish may be the most joyful for the female audience. Now I wipe the skin care products all the time. It costs a lot of money!In fact, if we recite the Buddha well, it is really the best skin care product.There is also Buddha worship. If you can pray for two hours a day, ten days a week, you will definitely see your face glowing and looking better and better. It will take two consecutive hours. Of course, you can take a break in the middle, and your complexion will be different. Up.Then because of sweating, the whole metabolism starts to be very good, and the skin will get better and better.We are able to improve now. As long as we cultivate the correct cause, there is still a long light and a long light. Amitabha, we know that He shines all over the ten realms. This belongs to the virtue of Dharmakaya, so He still has body light. This body is just one foot away.I don’t know how far one zhang is. You should check for yourself that there are ten zhangs on all sides. In fact, the numbers mentioned in the Buddhist scriptures, etc., are often expressed in terms of the law, and it’s not ours. What can really be imagined, in short, it represents the light of Amitabha Buddha, and the light on the body is very solemn.So every time someone sees and feels, there must be light when he sees the appearance of Amitabha Buddha. Amitabha Buddha appears. We also have light, but we also have body light. But our light follows this person’s mind. Is he For righteous thoughts or evil thoughts, the light is different and the size is different. Even if the thoughts are bad or dim, all beings in the ghost path also have light. They are dark. As long as there is a living body, it is actually a kind of energy. A kind of light.
Like some fellow practitioners, our fellow practitioners here, our fellow practitioners in Mahalari, her father-in-law, I came here last month, and she told me when she was married to you that her father-in-law had just passed away. , Very extraordinary, foreseeable, ninety-three years old.Before he died, he was in his room. There were Buddha statues in his room. He actually saw Amitabha walking out of the portrait twice, and when he saw it for the third time, the whole room was very solemn and bright.
It was fun the first two times. It’s so cute. This old gentleman, what did he say after seeing Buddha Amitabha? Their children asked him, did you see Buddha Amitabha tell him anything? We have to be very careful with our heart and thoughts. We don’t dare to create a bad thought. Just move one. Evil thoughts will repent immediately, and as long as they are aware, they must repent immediately, because they know that there will be results.But sentient beings wait until the retribution comes, and he knows it when he is creating it. Think about it for yourself. You all know that even if I don’t hold the five precepts, I still kill with cause and effect, but now you encounter those ants. When cockroaches, will you be completely merciful?Not necessarily!Sometimes when you are in a bad mood, you can't control so much. This can't be a joke. Then Ananda asked the Buddha, "Who is the owner of this house? Why are there so many beauties?" Generally speaking, Buddhism is not so evil, but it!There will always be some resentment, all kinds of bad thoughts, this is easy to violate the precept of killing, and there will be cause and effect in the future.We need to cultivate from here. That’s why Amitabha Buddha is so anxious anytime and anywhere. He put down his body and the ten Buddhas are not comparable to him. Put down his body and wait anytime and anywhere. Seeing that they are very sad and painful, we really do too. Compassion arises. In addition to our nature with conscience and compassion, in fact all beings are one body, so we will also have other people's reactions.
To take a more obvious example, like twins, because they are closer together, they are genetically different, so the other is uncomfortable, and the other also suffers from pain. When the other party feels joy, he also rejoices. This feeling is particularly obvious. They are two individuals. Why is there such a reaction? There is also a connection in him, that is, one.

It is completely different, and the difference in the inner realm is getting farther and farther, and you will feel that fewer and fewer people understand you.

We are almost at the age of XNUMX or XNUMX, and we feel that memory is degraded. People who wait... will be worried. This kind of fear is actually quite difficult to overcome, especially since we have been misheard in the past, thinking that the old monk has always emphasized that you must have righteous thoughts at the end of life. It seems that you must have righteous thoughts. Actually, there are others. At that time, we should not listen to the subject of cause, fate and opportunity.
Here I also share with fellow initiates a few practical examples: There is a professor in Taiwan who has made a great contribution to the education sector, Huang Yingfu, who is an intellectual.As for the intellectual, he did not believe in Buddhism, did not take refuge, nor did he listen to the Dharma. However, he has made a considerable contribution to the education circle and has a small reputation. He also accepted the President’s awards, various compliments, and a lot of praise in school. Contributions, achievements, are praised...this is the person.
But when he passed away, he was in a coma for a full forty days, and during these forty days he passed away in a coma.Before he fell into a coma, he hadn’t studied Buddhism nor heard of the Dharma, nor could he wish to be reborn in the Paradise of Bliss. However, during the forty days in the coma, his children were very filial. He asked the Master to teach him the Dharma and everyone would recite the Buddha. When he finally died, he died in a state of coma, and many, many Ruixiangs determined that he was a reborn in the world of bliss.This is a matter of very recent years. I have not recorded the exact time, but this is a matter of recent years, and he is a small well-known person in the education field. This gives us a lot of confidence.
In fact, there are many examples like these, not just this one. Not long ago, when I was giving a lecture in another seminar, after listening to many fellow practitioners, they were very confident and very happy with the Fa.One of them was a Bodhisattva who came to tell me. She said, "Master, what you say is XNUMX% dependent on his power. I absolutely believe." Because her mother died because of the blessings of the Buddha, her mother was demented for ten years and was sick. Fortunately, the blessing was not bad when she was in bed. The servant took good care of her.But even if she is well taken care of, she has been in a dementia for ten years, she may not be in a good mood. Dementia is not completely unconscious, she still knows some common conditions; so the person taking care of her is also very hard, and then she takes care of this Her people sometimes complain, in short, the depression and unevenness of her mood are often expressed.
Then tell me about this Bodhisattva. She has studied Buddhism and lived in the dojo for several years. She is also very filial.She hadn’t heard about the Dharma for her in ten years, so she thought of a way. She took the opportunity to recite the Buddha and bribed the servant while their family was away. Then she told her, “If they’re not there, you can recite the Buddhist scriptures to her, and the family will come back. Put it away quickly.” In less than a month after doing this, this person passed away safely. Ruixiang was very outstanding. Among them, he also gave her a brief teaching, but the focus is still on this fate, or because he heard "Nan Wu "Amitabha" is the name.

You will return to your destiny and you will go back. This is the explanation of Master Shandao. You will rely on Amitabha with all your heart. What is it? Of course you believe that you will have to rely on Him!The connotation is very clear, so "Amitabha" is OK.Therefore, "Nanmu Amitabha" has enough "faith and willingness."
So even if a comatose person or a demented person knows how to make a vow without a specific cause, even if it is so.As long as he hears "Namo Amitabha" for a reason, he can die.Buddha Amitabha has long agreed with us that we will use this name as a medium, and we have lived by this name. The belief is that we can remove obstacles. If you don't want to go, you can't go, and you can't go if you hear the Buddha's name.So in fact, all the merits of the entire power, so Wan Dehong's name, are all placed in this Buddha's name.
There is also a more powerful proof. When we know that all the sutras are exhausted, we know the destiny of Shakyamuni Buddha, XNUMX years, and the last sutra "Infinite Life Sutra" lives in the world for one hundred years, and then one hundred years. Years later, when the "Blessed Life Sutra" also disappeared, there was still this Buddha name. At that time, how sentient beings can be saved can only rely on this Buddha name, right? How did those sentient beings die?Only rely on this Buddha's name.So it is true that this Buddha name has great virtues, whether it is faith, aspiration or deeds, as long as one of the conditions is met, we can all die, so don't worry.
Look at this example: This is the most recent event, last month’s event, only based on hearing the Buddha recitation, so here we have another concept, which can also be reversed by the way. We used to think that we would say: We help others to read and send Sending people to the west is our merit for helping people. It seems that human thoughts are more powerful, but Buddha chanting does not have power. It depends on our people’s helping thoughts to live. In fact, it’s wrong to rely on the power of the Buddha's name and the power of the Buddha's will. power.It can be said that we people go to help the chanting to see off, to accompany him to reciting a thought. The influence of people is to teach. If he has not made a vow, or he has never heard of this method, then you can tell him that this is your guide. His karma, the power of his death, is still XNUMX% in the Buddha's name, in faith and willingness to fulfill this condition, don't make a mistake.So when we look at this example, we also know that just by hearing the Buddha recitation, the Buddha's name that comes from it will be able to die.
After this, if we slowly and deeply understand these theories and methods of the death, it is indeed XNUMX% relying on the power of Buddha.Then in the future, when we help others to read, we will have the right mentality. Not to mention some people, who are very dedicated to help others to read, just think it is because of their own skills, so let's read... This person reads half of it. I was born in an hour, and I felt that I was very good. I was very good at helping me read well. If this person has been reading for a few days and he can’t read it anyway, his heart will start to worry. , I will be exhausted if you don’t die quickly, or else I’ll lose face. I’ll have this kind of discriminating feelings and disheartening, thinking that it’s my own merits or my own faults. This is a wrong concept.
If there is still time in two days, we will go further to understand how to use the right attitude and method to do this thing, if you master the right method, ten out of ten will really meet you. The ten reborn Buddhas are not exaggerated, not exaggerated.This exaggeration is considered a lie, it is not allowed.As long as your method is correct, as long as the person you hear is willing to nod, you will die. Other things are Buddha's things. As long as you have a way to make him nod, it's fine.So it really can be done, and some methods need to be mastered. This is because we still need to go into details, so we don’t have time today, and we will talk about it in two days.
There is another example of Hu Nini’s mother, one of the great protectors of our old monk. I have heard people say that I was not there. I have heard people say that her mother died in the bardo, then this example is The fate around our old monk, the bardo body passed away, did she have righteous thoughts when she was dying? Did she have righteous mindfulness to the Buddha to die? Not yet! She hasn't passed away yet!Right? She passed away within forty-nine days after the bardo.Isn't this also an example?Is it necessary to recite the Buddha with righteous thoughts at the end of life?
So the person who helped the recitation said: read it quickly, read it louder, the person who passed away is almost out of anger, and you keep telling him to read it louder, he is really mad at you and exhausted by you. Up.Give him that kind of pressure, it's really easy to fail. If there are really ten people, one or two people will die. The difference between your methods and concepts is so big.So many of our concepts really need to be clear. The difference between success and failure is very big. Look at Hu Nini’s mother, she did not die without righteous thoughts at the end of her life, and the bardo body can still die. "These three conditions definitely do not depart from these three reasons. It doesn't have to be before the end of life, righteous thoughts appear, and it doesn't have to be effortless and unruffled, and don't scare yourself.
