All of them can truly be tens of thousands of people to go, and never miss one.

Well, the vicissitudes of the eighteen vows were mentioned with fellow practitioners a few days ago. The key is to have true faith and aspirations in our hearts and we will surely die.Regardless of our high cultural level, low, rich, noble, poor, low, male, female, old, or young, there is nothing to lose. This is the core practice.

So some people do not respond to the eighteenth vow, because the eighteenth vow is really in line with what Gude described. The characteristics of this pure land method are simple, easy, and unbelievable. The real unbelievable law is in the eighteenth vow.Because it's so simple, it really doesn't fit our general concept of cause and effect at all.We generally think that we must first cultivate the cause and then realize the effect. Every effort is made and there is no gain. How can it be said that one can become a Buddha without cultivation?As long as he is willing to die, Amitabha himself will pick him up, and he will become a Buddha as soon as he leaves.

How can there be such a thing?It’s harder to believe than this fairy tale. It’s really hard to believe. Therefore, the person who can believe it is the "Amitabha Sutra".It is necessary to have good roots, merits, and karma to be very sufficient and profound. Hearing this eighteenth wish, he will be able to arise without doubt, and to be able to give birth to a heart like this, wishing to be born in our country.In fact, there are relatively few people of this kind, because people who are about to become Buddhas in this life!In fact, it is not that simple. Not everyone can become a Buddha.

The method is very simple. Everyone can become a Buddha, but you are not willing to become a Buddha because the roots of goodness are not sufficient.What should we do then? Amitabha wants to make a vow to save sentient beings in ten directions. If he only makes eighteen vows, then it is certain that nine out of ten people will not be able to die or save.Because no one believes, there are very few people who can believe, so those who believe will surely die, but because there are very few believers, there are very few people born in the past, and even fewer people will be saved.

Therefore, Buddha Amitabha must make other wishes to attract other people whose roots are not very mature and the roots of goodness are not very deep. First give them some time to slowly grow the roots of goodness. Otherwise, rebirth in the bliss world only needs to tell us a method. Now, why do you have to make so many wishes? It is to fit sentient beings with different roots and different foundations, so we can compare them carefully from the forty-eight vows.It is true that the method of rebirth is difficult and easy, and simple and difficult. It depends on our personal choices. You will naturally respond to this method according to your foundation.

For example, the nineteenth vow, the vows in this paragraph have different conditions. It is famous for making a wish, and XNUMX vows for dying quotes. The conditions for the rebirth of the scriptures in this paragraph are to develop bodhichitta and cultivate various merits. Then go back.The scripture talks about the six paramitas of the re-entry, so this is obviously the two powers of oneself, or the practice of relying on one's own strength and then going back. This standard is different.This fits the other type. The root of belief is weaker. I think it’s safer to rely on one's own strength to practice. It seems that the two forces combined are more sufficient. Most people have this idea. They think that relying on themselves is safer. It's hard to trust others.

This is the root of doubt!The roots of suspicion are very heavy, and the roots of trust are particularly weak. Everyone knows in life that it is difficult to give oneself to another person completely. You always have to do some things on your own. Even when you are a wife, you have to save a little private money, which is more secure. Another day I was abandoned by my husband and still had money to spend.Always keep one hand for everything, right?It seems that relying on one's own strength is always a prevention, or it is safer and more secure. This is human nature.Therefore, there are many such people, and Amitabha must make this vow again, so that at least he does not believe in the eighteen vows, so at least he is willing to make all the deeds in this life to be able to survive!

The problem is that if this kind of person does not have enough faith in Amitabha, so we have said that if this kind of faith is not enough, it will be difficult for you to perceive. Therefore, in fact, our ordinary consciousness is often wrong. We have no wisdom. !All we think up are delusions. We think that if we rely on the Buddha on the one hand and ourselves on the other, wouldn’t it be safer to have more power?That is our wrong idea.We have no power at all, and we still have a lot of delusions in our entire life...In this discipline of ours, since we bring karma, how can the pure meritorious deeds be used as resources for the pure land of rebirth? If we practice the ten virtues and the five precepts, we can deduct deeds, and we can gain the human body in the next life.The ten virtues, the retribution can be ascended to heaven, and this can be used for dedication, but we can’t even do the five precepts and ten virtues well. Even if we do well, we can’t go back to the Buddha kingdom. The Buddha kingdom must be XNUMX% pure and never produce any thought. Well!

How do we fix it in our lifetime?No matter how you are a person with roots, the great virtue of Zen Buddhism, the great virtue of Tantric Buddhism, who dares to say that he can never think about it?There are very few such people, so I want to rely on my own merits to subsidize them as a means of death!Then you are in vain and asking for trouble, why bother?Isn't it good to rely on Buddha?The Buddha had already completed his pure merits before ten kalpas. We only need to believe and accept. And in our whole life to be born in humanity, this shows that it comes with karma and is full of greed, hatred, and delusion. Yes, what ability do we have to achieve pure merits and get back and forth, subsidies?It is really unnecessary, and there are side effects. On the contrary, it shows that we do not have enough confidence in Amitabha, and we have a feeling of alienation. There is no way to rely on Amitabha.

We must follow the guidance of Master Shandao, and constantly recognize that we have no ability at all. When we continue to realize more deeply that we are really like ants on the ground, people will die when they step on them. We really are In this way, our lives are very fragile.We were smashed to death as soon as the sign fell off accidentally when we went out, and there are such people too!Because of impermanence!What are our capabilities?It is really fragile. You have to experience this fact often in your life. At this time, you will naturally rely on Amitabha Buddha XNUMX%. This is relative. This is called "two kinds of deep belief."

It is the Master Shandao who instructs us. The starting point of learning must constantly experience this in life, then we will naturally put Amitabha Buddha closer and closer, anyway, there is no way to go, and only Amitabha vows for us to save. To save us, if you don’t believe it, you have to believe it. Anyway, there is no other way to go. The only way to liberate is the way that the Buddha of the Buddha in the ten directions proves and persuades us. Even if we are deceived, we are willing to be deceived. Where is the Buddha!Will there be such a thing?We have no loss if we are deceived!We have no loss at all, so there is no need to doubt. This is a superfluous act. It just hinders ourselves from having a chance to be liberated. We hand our body and mind to Amitabha, and we are at ease right now. Why bother?

What's more, we also know that one drink and one peck in this life is not predestined. Whatever encounters we encounter in this life is doomed. The cause of the previous life is to be rewarded in this life.So even if we are unwilling to hand it over to Amitabha and Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, there is nothing we can do about it. How can you use your mind to plan your future and this life? That is useless.The so-called people are not as good as the sky!No matter how clever you plan, you will not be as expected in all likelihood, this world is like this.To appreciate this fact in life, we naturally become more and more humble, admit that we are powerless, we can only rely on the salvation of saints, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, don't deceive ourselves and others!Especially those who have great blessings, this figure is difficult to let go.

You tell him to admit his incompetence, oops!Especially the men are so shameless!How can I be incompetent?right?I am rich, powerful, strong, knowledgeable and smart. Maybe I can still do it. What kind of extraterrestrial spacecraft can I take when this earth is destroyed. Anyway, I have the money to buy one. They flew to the moon to take refuge. What American scientists are studying, and many refuge measures, they are these people who will think about ways to do this. They will rely on themselves and think that they are conquering the sky, and he will not think about it. To rely on Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.This kind of person... So you say that Master Shandao teaches us to believe that we are sinful ordinary people. It seems very simple, but it is very simple to us. It is very difficult for these people to admit this fact and it is very difficult, so they have no choice. The karma is heavier than us.
