The old monk also explained the content of the "Three-Time System" in detail, so We are today!In the form of essentials, the main point in the book is about the three resources for the rebirth. This aspect of the content is brought forward and learned together with everyone, hoping to help fellow practitioners to grasp it more deeply. Zen Master Zhongfeng made this book "Three Hour" The Fa ceremonies of "Xi Nian", his true inner intentions.
Zen Master Zhongfeng was from the Ming Dynasty, at that time!The practice of Zen is quite prosperous. We know that he was a practitioner of Zen when he was named "Zhongfeng Zen Master". Because of our method, the great virtue of the Patriarch said: "Only the wise or the stupid can fully trust and accept it." As for the stupid!It's an honest person. This has a very deep root of goodness. He has no doubt about what you tell him, because it is the Buddha said, because it is the master, so it must be correct. It is right to do it, such a person!Usually it looks like a fool, but so!Those who are stupid have superior wisdom, which coincides with those who are superior.
Then Samantabhadra Bodhisattva and Zen Master Zhongfeng are wise people who truly understand the mind. For those who can fully understand the teachings, he must be able to realize the beauty and perfection of the Pure Land Method, so we have seen a lot. It’s not unreasonable that the great virtues of Zen masters and patriarchs of other sects will eventually return to the Pure Land.So just to see the manifestations of these great bodhisattvas, we should honestly specialize in the Pure Land Method. It doesn’t matter if we don’t understand the truth. As long as we can rely on the key of faith, aspiration, and deeds, we can truly deepen and trust. , Whether it is our present sentient beings or the undead, as long as we have the destiny to hear this method and the name of Amitabha Buddha, we can be saved.

The realm he personally witnessed, in other words, the realm he entered into after being enlightened, of course we didn't understand it.
And at that time... the roots of people in the Ming Dynasty were better than us!We are one generation inferior to one generation, so just listen to it. Plant a seed in Alaya and get an impression. Don’t say it!I don't understand, am I too stupid?Not understanding is normal, so how can we not understand and benefit from this teaching?what about this!We can’t understand it from the literal meaning, but from his inner meaning, his intention to compile this text, and he pointed out the real practice for us. From this part of the experience, we can grasp the entry. , So you have to learn the content of the teachings of this text, and you can’t read the meaning of the words.
Just like the "Amitabha Sutra", it can be said to be the most inconspicuous sutra among the twelve books in the Tripitaka. It has more than XNUMX words, and the content seems the most shallow, so it can be said that it doesn't say anything. Theory and special methods, the whole sutra!Just talk about faith, willingness, and action, you have to believe!The six-party Buddha and the ten-party Buddha are willing to prove it!You want to make a wish!Survive in bliss!The method is very simple, as long as you recite the Buddha honestly, you are done!This "Amitabha Sutra" is over...so it is easy to be ignored.
But in fact!The realm of this sutra is among the twelve books of the Tripitaka. It can be said that it contains the essence of all sutras. It is all in this "Amitabha Sutra". It is also the essence and concentration of the "Immeasurable Sutra". No sutra can be compared. It's so subtle and concise.
How can we join in such a sophisticated and streamlined approach?If you just look at the text, you must be negligent. Since you are negligent, of course you can't see the taste, so there must be a method in the same way, this method!The average person!It is not easy to grasp.Just like the "Guan Sutra", the "Sutra of Guan Wu Liang Shou" in the Pure Land Three Sutras is also called the "Sixteen Guan Sutra". Most people read it, oh!It means cultivating sixteen kinds of insights, so if you cultivate sixteen kinds of insights, it will be very difficult!We can't see it at a glance.
The first view is to watch the sunset!That is the most superficial samādhi. There are a total of sixteen kinds of insights, so when most people look at it, if they just look at the surface and the words, you will feel... oh!This sutra is cultivating, so difficult, but it is!In fact, it is not. Through the guidance of Master Shandao, it turns out that the first sixteen views of the whole sutra are skillful and convenient. They are not the key core of "Guanjing". The key core is actually in this circulation part. There is only one sentence. So if you read a sutra with so much content, the focus is only one sentence, we usually...Of course we will look at it lightly.
If there is no great virtue of the Patriarch, the discerning people pointed out to us, we would never learn the "Guan Jing", so in the Pure Land Three Sutras, "Guan Jing", "Amitabha Sutra", "Infinite Life Sutra", "Infinite Life Sutra" It is the simplest, because it is like an introduction to the Three Classics of Pure Land!From how Amitabha Buddha made a vow, how to practice, and then achieved the results, he established all kinds of grandeur on the side of the paradise, as if telling a story, introducing the various conditions of the paradise is actually relatively shallow, and it is easy for ordinary people to look at it. Understand, but to truly understand the "Guan Jing" and "Amitabha Sutra", we must be guided by the great virtues of the patriarch and the discerning people before we can get into it.
The text of "Three-time System Nian" is the same, which is the same as "Guanjing" and "Amitabha Sutra".so!In fact, if we find a way, it's very simple. So what about us today!For some of the teachings in these three o'clocks, we only focus on the key points.This point is!It is about the teachings of the letter, aspiration, deeds, and the three rebirths, which is the most important to us.After studying for a long time, I just want to die!We don't need to talk about the exquisite state of self-achieving that other Zen masters mentioned earlier!If you are interested, you can read the explanation of the old monk. The explanation is very detailed, because the old monk is a standard lecturer. He lectured very much, very broadly, and gave us a lot of details. Of learning materials.
But if you want to learn the key points!You have to do your own work!To be able to grasp the key points, then you will be very trouble-free, that's why!Today I am through this opportunity!It’s a brief and concise explanation of the part about the condition of rebirth!Let us study together.
There is a paragraph in the first discourse, we read: "Why is the world called bliss? Just because all suffering cannot invade; if a Taoist wants to find his way back, he has his heart in the dust." These four verses have already been said. It's very consummation!Tell us why the world of bliss is called bliss. This is obvious because there is no pain.The world of bliss is pure happiness without suffering, and our world is pure suffering without happiness, have you experienced it?I still think our world is pretty good too!Sometimes there is a little happiness!The happiness of the five desires is actually wrong. Our world is really pure suffering without happiness.The joy we feel!The Blessed One tells us that it is called bad suffering, but that is not called happiness.
The so-called bitterness is going to go bad. Originally, our big fish and big meat are very happy to eat, you continue to eat, eat non-stop, eat until your stomach is about to burst, do you think you will be happy?This happiness has deteriorated and turned into bitterness, so it is called bad bitterness.So we have to see the truth!We will not have nostalgia for this world, then the world of bliss only has happiness without pain, so of course we have to go!And go hurry up!Go early!Why do some of our fellow practitioners want to live in the Paradise of Bliss, and they are always stubborn and unable to go? It is because they have not seen the pure suffering and no happiness in this world that they are implicated and cannot let go.The last two sentences!Just tell us directly, if we want to find a way back home from liberation! …But Xiang Chen caught his mind.
Zen Master Zhongfeng often thinks from this self-nature, from this perspective, then we can understand this way, this dust!It's the red dust. Having your own mind in the red dust doesn't really tell you to know the Amitabha, the pure land of ideals!If you know that there is a self-nature Amitabha, the Pure Land of Idealism, but what if you know it? …Not so good, still not getting any benefits, right?So we have to understand it this way, but Xiang Chen is in his own mind, Chen is Hong Chen!It's now!How did you come to Zixin?Although Amitabha is our own mind, is there a real Amitabha in the Paradise of Bliss?Yes, he is the only one, so so!We know that we can discover the Pure Land with our own minds, but we cannot do it ourselves, so we have to find a way out in the red dust before we die. What is this way out?Rely on Amitabha...Rely on Amitabha’s will power, because he is unique!The Elysium and Amitabha are right from our hearts, but He is also true and real and waiting for us in the Elysium!
And where is Elysium?It is said in the scriptures that the land of ten trillion Buddhas is so far away!Actually!It's not far, right by our side, right now, this truth is very deep!We only need to tell this fact. If you want to make sense, the more you listen, the more confused you will be.Shiwanyi seems to be very far away, but in fact, he does not depart from the present intention, just before our present.In other words, Amitabha Buddha is actually at our side and waiting for us at any time, so how do we understand this discourse?That is, we must know how to really help ourselves in our lives. The faith in Amitabha can produce firm reliance on Amitabha's wishes, and we must rely on Amitabha's aspiration and recite the Buddha honestly, so that we can find the way back and the way back to our hometown. .If you take it literally, but Xiang Chen has your own heart, you will find your own nature.Self-nature Amitabha, where is he?So don't fix it on the basis of reason.
This Zen master has a high level of his own. Of course, he speaks of the realm he has attained from the perspective of self-nature, his own realm of empirical reality, but our level, from the self-nature, we can’t handle it. Because there is no difference between oneself and others, the external Buddha is also the self-nature Amitabha!So where we can start, we must rely on the external Buddha, then this is what the "Blessed Life Sutra" says!It's said in the Amitabha Sutra!In the land of the One Hundred Thousand Remembrance Buddhas, there is the world of bliss, and there is Amitabha. There are forty-eight vows introduced in the "Blessed Life Sutra". Every vow is so clear that there is a living Amitabha who made forty-eight vows for us, and this forty-eight vows Too!It was completed before the ten calamities. This "Amitabha Sutra" says that we have to be from this perspective to get into it.

So how can you really have true faith and aspirations in your life?Then find the way back to your hometown?First of all!We have to... just like what I mentioned earlier, we have to really experience the suffering in this world, and experience it with our heart. When you are eating and drinking and having a great time, it doesn't matter!You can enjoy it for a while, and when you are almost full, you will start to visualize, oh!My suffering is going to happen now, so I can support it now!If you still realize that you can’t visualize it, then you think, next time you have a table of people eating, you will devote yourself to eating leftovers. If everyone eats incompletely, you will throw it in front of you. You can eat it to see if it is suffering or not. This experience is very profound.
It's the same for some men and women who fall in love!Oops!It's sweet when you first love, but it's not like that when you quarrel!It's changed!Feeling changed and started to pick faults, even if there is no quarrel, but the kind of separation went home separately, and the date has been finished, and the pain of lovesickness is also bitter!right?See what causes and conditions you have in the present, you can experience it in any way. You have to do this every day, and you have to go in your life... Actually, he said here, but Xiang Chen’s self-heartedness also means this. We just want to be in the present. Now that we experience all these things, in order to have true faith and aspirations, we must first see through the sufferings of our world, and we must work hard every day!To bring up our awareness, walking, living, sitting, lying, dressing, eating... it is not suffering everywhere!
Is there sincerity among people?Can you trust each other?Even your family and friends, really... you just think about it a little bit, it's bitter!It's really bitter!But this is bitter!When you keep visualizing, this is a kind of practice!Observe the suffering!Is it suffering?To see the body is not pure, to see the suffering is suffering. This is the practice of the practice, our foundation, and the foundation of Buddhism.
But you watch!Observe a certain level, and when you finally want to summarize, don't forget to remind yourself, alas!This world is so suffering. Fortunately, Amitabha can save me. You can get relief from the suffering right now. Otherwise, as soon as you feel the suffering, you might go to commit suicide if you can't stand it, and you can't think about it.
Because people in the world have not encountered the Dharma or the method of Amitabha's salvation, he has nowhere to go!So life is very negative and pitiful. He can’t get out of that dead end. It’s really like this... So we are watching suffering now, and watching suffering every day, to help us make aspirations, hurry up... It’s best to die right away. This is correct. , To observe this level, don’t be leisurely, knowing that there is a world of bliss, and then everyone has to make a wish, just like that. If that kind of aspiration does not arise, then your kung fu is still not effective, kung fu lies in the depth of faith and wish. , So this homework we do every day.Go further!Those with a better degree can also observe the sky and the world!Suffering, emptiness, impermanence, no self.
I hadn’t studied Buddhism before, so I could observe impermanence, suffering, and impermanence by myself.When I was ten years old, I was in the third grade of elementary school. I ran away for a day and secretly skipped class early in the morning. My classmates didn’t dare to fear being caught back. I hid alone in a big temple next to our house, that kind of country. Hidden behind the temples and palaces, and then I didn’t eat all day and got hungry. By five or six o’clock in the evening, because our family lived next to the temple, there was a big square outside, what’s there in the countryside? I would go to the temple to ask them to broadcast the matter. Before I went back in the evening, my family called the people in the temple to broadcast, alas!Someone!You hurry home to have dinner!As soon as I heard about dinner, okay!Ok!I went back and ran away from home for a day. No one knows, only you and me know that in my third grade, I think this world is very bitter!
People who are truly cultivators and those who have mature cultivating conditions have been sentimental since childhood. You see, the Blessed One is the same. He is so rich and noble. How can he be unhappy, like sitting alone under a tree and thinking about many problems.Many patriarchal virtues and many people with mature cultivation conditions have this characteristic.
For example, I have been lucky since I was young, and my grandparents loved the older ones. What about when I grow up?It’s not bad. Many people pursue... are very lucky and have not suffered much, but my heart is unhappy. After I was a teenager, I started to understand impermanence a little bit.
How to view?I saw my female friends and their boyfriends, they all look honest!He also had other girlfriends. He told me that you don't want to tell your friends, and he told me to keep it secret!I said wow!This is terrible, look... It seems so honest that you will have several girlfriends at the same time, alas!This person's heart!Then we will pay attention to this, these things... People’s hearts are impermanent, today we say that we love tomorrow but we don’t love tomorrow, and our words change from time to time, and then we visualize ourselves, can we just love one person in our life and never change our heart ?We don’t dare to speak, right?Look at this... Oh!This one is so handsome and that one is so handsome. To observe this way, we will often think about things when we are young!The more you think about it, the more terrible it becomes. This is that you can observe impermanence naturally in your life.
Suffering, emptiness, impermanence, non-self, emptiness and non-self are more difficult, we don’t understand, people who have studied the Prajna Sutra can understand, Diamond Sutra... Diamond Sutra, Prajna Sutra are related to these, the Heart Sutra talks about emptiness, and all dharma is the source It starts from the self-nature, the harmony of causes and conditions, and the self-nature is empty.Because everything is a combination of various conditions, he doesn't exist in the first place, he is originally empty.
For example, this place was originally a vacant lot, and then!First built a house with it, built it up, and then, inside!I moved some tables, chairs, and all kinds of equipment, eh!A cause and condition like this is formed. It is originally empty. All ten thousand faculties, this universe, and everything are all in this truth, and there is nothing in the first place.
Why is there?The Buddhist scriptures tell us that it’s because one thought is ignorant. "One thought produces three subtle thoughts, and the realm is predestined to grow and six roughness." Originally one thought, then three subtle thoughts were born, and then it became six thoughts, one, three, six... This is just an estimate!Anyway, it means more and more and more and more. As a result, the whole world has been imagined for us. Therefore, the ten thousand faculties were created by our minds. They were not originally created by us. What did we want to come up with?Delusion... We start with a delusion, and then we want it to happen, and this is how the world came to be.
Isn’t it weird that so many people were born during the Big Bang, as scientists said?So many people and so many things are born, the truth is so deep!It's very deep... we go to the world of bliss to realize it again, don't worry... it doesn't matter if we don't understand.but!We only need to know that this world is inherently empty, including human life. The four elements are combined, the earth, water, fire, and wind are combined together, so we don’t have to be afraid of death or the end of this life. You don’t need to be afraid of getting old and getting sick. He doesn’t exist in the first place.

This is the enlightened person.Therefore, people who are not conscious are greedy for this body all day long, and then greet the relatives and friends that this body extends, and then a lot of pain arises in it, greedy, reluctance, and thoughts, really all the suffering is It is because we are greedy for this body.
Women love beauty all day long, they dress very beautifully, spend a lot of money, and finally can’t get plastic surgery again when they are old, alas!I’ve been doing this all my life for the sake of this body. In fact, this body is fake. It really allows us to pay off debts and make us suffer. If we see through the void, this body is fake and it’s not me. The real me, that me, that divine consciousness, we can go to the world of bliss to become a Buddha, but now we are locked in this body and cannot escape, cannot be liberated, cannot be at ease, really understand!After observing this void, I wish to throw away this body and the stinky skin as soon as possible, alas!The true self within us!That divine sense can run out from the top door and go directly to the world of bliss. This is the most extraordinary and important thing. Don’t be fooled by this body and falsehood. You can be a cow and a horse for it all your life, creating endless things. Karma, I will continue to repay the debt in my next life. It's so stupid.
It’s really enlightenment, fascinated... fascinated people are like this, so when the Blessed One saw that all beings were fascinated, he said painstakingly about the Prajna Sutra for XNUMX years. He taught us to see through. You can let go of through when you see through. Attachment to all the false existence in this world, recognize the false as the true, the real truth is only in the world of bliss, a real world, everything is true in the world of bliss, forever eternal and unchanging, and it is true, good and beautiful, everything is the most complete and perfect Yes, every time I talk about it, I want to go right away when I talk about it. In this world, we just want to visualize like this every day. The world of bliss is very great, and then this world is very miserable. You just want to think often and every day. With these two things, wow!You cannot fail to die, and you have a high grade of rebirth.
Cultivating this method...We are very simple in cultivating the Pure Land Method, but it is not difficult, and we people!Especially women, what is the most obsessive and most serious thing?It’s emotions. It’s not difficult to observe suffering. Women in this world are the most suffering, so it’s not difficult to experience suffering. That is the most difficult to let go of the love heart. Bliss.This is from the perspective of self-reliance. We can rely on Amitabha's willingness to save us. If our mind is not pure, we can produce bliss and bring karma to life.However, love does not regenerate and does not give birth to Sapo. It means that we are very attached to love because of craving, so we do!Only then will I feel the karma of the Sao Po world.
Not long ago, I went to Suxi a female ordination ceremony. I have been ordained for twelve years, so the process of this ceremony is still a little far away for me. Then I feel it again and I feel very deeply moved. Someone I am very happy and admired when I am a monk, so in the process of shaving, there is a section of verses in the whole process of the ceremony, and I am particularly touched by it.During the process of shaving one's hair, everyone chanted, and Wiener chanted this poem. The content was: In the Three Realms, love cannot escape.Why we continue to flow in this cycle is that we cannot be liberated because of love.
Those who forsake grace into inaction and truly repay grace.Tell us to give up this love!Entering the realm of Wuwei, this person is the one who truly repays his gratitude. This passage of his verses is actually the teaching he told the family of the shaved family, because it is like a monk to give the family a shaved, and other relatives will be very reluctant. Especially mothers may cry from beginning to end next to them.
When I became a monk, my friend, who was going to chase me, cried from beginning to end.
