Because we are easy to deceive ourselves, and also easy to deceive others.This is our habit of robbery without beginning, so Master Shandao specially reminded us that if we do not use our heart to inspire our sincerity, then those who want to return to this miscellaneous journey to survive in the Pure Land of the Buddha must not do this, nor can they die. Therefore, the Amitabha Sutra tells why people who have reborn from the Pure Land Method must have "more virtuous roots, more merits, and more causes and conditions."

There are no other conditions for rebirth in the Pure Land. Even if you break the precepts and the five evils and ten evils can be reborn, you are afraid that you don’t really want to be reborn. So whether you can rebirth, or even whether you can rebirth at the top grade, is the key here, and it doesn’t require you to recite the Buddha. It's really ordinary people...the smarter people, the higher the education, the more capable people, the less likely they are to meet the requirements, that is to say, usually this kind of people are more correspondingly self-reliant and not accustomed to relying on others, because they are arrogant. The heart feels that it’s good at it, so it’s inevitable that it’s not easy to show that it’s necessary to show sincerity and rely XNUMX% on the Buddha to correspond with the Buddha.

So we want to have a high grade of rebirth, and even if we want to rebirth, regardless of the upper, middle and lower generations, we must have these three hearts. The higher the purity of these three hearts, the higher your grade.If it is relatively shallow, and your sincere heart is not so enough or not so enough, it means that the middle-class middle-aged and the lower-class have passed away. How can we give up the more we give up, the more happy we are now, the big house is also happy, the small house is also happy, everything is very comfortable, how can there be such a big difference?It is the blessing of the Buddha's power and the skill of the Buddha to guide us. There is still room for improvement in our "sincerity, deep heart, and dedication", but this kind of improvement does not require pressure, because it is not necessarily necessary to meet this condition. Although we have already produced Dharma happiness after recitation, we have been single-minded to live in the blissful world, and we can confirm that our faith has been determined, but we can’t because of this. Of course, those who are obsessed with Buddha will appear diligent in other body, mouth, and mind.

You know that when we talk, our eyes are facing each other, and that sight will confirm whether you understand what I mean, and whether it has such an effect, is it right?

In other words, we have to make sure, what are you thinking about when I'm talking, have you listened carefully, have you listened carefully, have you understood, so this gaze has this effect, then he will look at me from start to finish It’s strange, did he understand what I said? I’m afraid he didn’t hear clearly what I explained, which made me feel uneasy, very strange and uncomfortable, but because I didn’t know him well, I felt strange at first. Sometimes when we lay our minds and diligence, we are also very diligent, but that diligence is a little too artificial and unnatural. From the perspective of my personal practice, I feel that a person is really less likely to hinder the continuity of our practice. Especially when we are writing lectures and studying the teachings, we must focus on not being interrupted, and then focus to a certain level to be possible. Some inspiration appears. If there is someone next to you at any time and pour a glass of water over, are you hungry, what are you going to do, or there is someone around you, you should also care about the other person. As far as the Bodhisattvas in the ten directions are concerned, Arhat and Pichi can’t be doubted. This standard, then you are unwavering!One hundred percent true faith and eagerness, so our ordinary "faith" has not reached one hundred percent. If you really believe in three or five points, you are already Amitabha. It's not easy.

But as long as you have faith in the truth, you can die, even if it doesn’t matter if you have one or two points, as long as your faith and wish can be maintained until the end of life, and Amitabha will come to attract you, so it’s okay to meet at the end of life. Only when the people who helped the meditation persuaded him, did he hear about this method, and he would have a wish, and he could die. The reason is here, because he meets at the end of the day, so he will not have the opportunity to turn back. He died directly, this is his cause.

In fact, the world of bliss is absolutely there, and there is a real existence, just like our world, so real.

So if someone doubts, I will ask him: "Then do you think the world of Saha is real or fake?" He said, "Yes, it is real! Really." Then the world of bliss is also real, the world of Saha. It is possible to be real, why is it impossible to be real in Elysium?From the perspective of "being", it is true to us ordinary people, it is a real existence, it is gold as the ground, colored glaze, Qibao, everything is solemn, really like this, very pretty!

Do you want to go? Now I want to go right away, it is really like this, it is just like our world is so real, so pure, if you really believe it and experience it, how can you not want to go right away? The reason? "I can let go, as long as I want to", then would I want to? Of course I do, I have already made a wish, why am I not, I already know that the world of paradise is so great! Not only I want to let go, the people beside me All destined people, old people, children and all people, I hope that they will make a wish as soon as possible, die as soon as possible, and get rid of suffering and happiness as soon as possible. "I believe I can do it, I can let it go." Often self-suggestion like this, this will help you remove obstacles.

So this "belief" is really not easy, how can you believe it? Even if you meet a bad person, he wants to deceive. You, but because our hearts are very kind and simple, we really believe it.

Then when we respond with a very kind "body, speech, and mind", the other person will be transferred by us, and will be transferred by us. He was going to cheat, but he can't cheat halfway through. Really, it's amazing. !Therefore, when we face the outside world with a kind and simple heart, we will never suffer a loss, and we will never be wrong. Don’t say we are afraid of being deceived. Many people are afraid of being deceived, so they are suspicious and do not believe in the outside world, so we have to do all kinds of things. The precautionary measures must be first suspected, and then the evidence must be found before accepting.

Looking back on the way, that is, the great benefit of losing life."
This is to persuade us from the perspective of "returning to make a wish", we must turn back from the true heart, and think about life. The most important thing in this passage is "to think about life."

We have all said that "sincere, deep, and dedication to aspirations" are all from the true heart. You can make a real wish. If you believe it, you don’t want to go, and it won’t work. Your faith and wish must be fulfilled. Logically speaking, if you have one of them, if you really believe it, you can't stop going. Naturally, there is still a "wish" in it. Unless you have made a wish before and want to go there to reward it, you can't stop it. To go, in short, these three things must be initiated from the true heart, and they must be "thinking about life."

This is what Master Shandao specially reminded us. Many people don’t believe that they can die, and tell themselves every day, "I can’t die, I can’t die", so you can’t die. It’s because you want to be your own heart. Well, the mind power is incredible, the mind power of sentient beings is incredible, although Buddha power is incredible, the mind power of sentient beings is also unbelievable.

This is not preaching us. How good our kung fu is, it has nothing to do with our kung fu. We admit that we can die. This "thinking of life" is helpful for us to die. At the same time, it is also admiring the merits of Amitabha Buddha's aspirations to others.

We are repaying the Buddha’s grace and telling others that we believe in this method and that we are confident that we can die. We are using our own faith to prove to the Buddha, and we are proclaiming the superiority of this Dharma. You don’t have any confidence yourself. If you persuade people to recite Buddhism, will they believe it or accept it? Doubt in your heart, you don't even have confidence, you still ask me to go, how much faith do you want me to be able to generate, it's impossible.

Therefore, you must have confidence in yourself and speak it out. This is the right way. You are truly convinced of the excellence of this method, and you will not be embarrassed to speak it out. Some people are embarrassed to speak it out, that’s embarrassing. In other words, it is the relative thing that you don’t have such a strong faith and understanding of this method, so you will be embarrassed. Amitabha is so extraordinary, how can you be embarrassed.

Just like my wife is so beautiful, why are you embarrassed to take her out, unless you think she is not beautiful enough, then you are embarrassed to take her out, it is a kind of insult to this wife, on the contrary, it is a kind of insult. Let everyone experience this Taste, if you have confidence in her, you should really hope to introduce her to others and take it out to show off. What's more, we don’t show off for ourselves, we want everyone to see it and get this benefit, right? .

It should be a very natural response. There is no twitching, afraid to talk to others, and then I dare not admit it, it has nothing to do with your merit, it is not the merit of your own death, what is there?
