I wondered where these people went?Are they all in favor?Later, I discovered that most of them were Vietnamese initiates and couldn't understand them.Because why do I find it weird?In the first scene, I still asked, is there anyone in this room who does not understand Chinese?As a result, no one raised their hands and there was no response. After a long time, they couldn't even understand my question, so the second game didn't come.
Today is not bad, because the third show shows that all the people who come here are interested in cultivating together. You see, it's still raining outside today!Last time there were some fellow practitioners who really did, and there were also those who couldn't come if they wanted to.It’s not easy for us fellow practitioners to go out!These overseas Chinese fellow practitioners who have immigrated abroad are also very hard. They are probably polarized. One is here to provide for the elderly, and the other is here to work hard. It is also very hard.It can be destined, in fact, oh!Strictly speaking, all the causes and conditions are inspired by one's own heart. There is no such thing as you can't find time or do, unless you don't want to do it. If you have a heart and aspirations, the cause and conditions can be fulfilled.
Those who are often entangled in world affairs should reflect on it and don’t say: "Oh! I am really very interested." As a result, your time, your money, and your mind are all used in the world law, maybe you too It is not intentional, you don't know, and then you will always be led by the nose by these worldly causes and controlled, and then you feel helpless in your heart, and you will feel that you really have the intention to seek the law, that is to misrecognize the news.In fact, you are really a person who has the intention to practice. You will definitely overcome all difficulties. Unless one or two times, there is really no way for a while, but you will definitely work hard in this direction.If you want to pursue money, then of course money will never be enough. Then you have to spend a lot of time to accomplish this goal. Of course, you don't have time to practice. This is a certain truth.
Do you think my voice is a bit magnetic?Today, some fellow initiates told me that her husband is Italian, and she speaks in French for a day.He looked at my CD and said he didn't understand it!The Italian did not understand. He said that the mage was very beautiful, and then said that my voice was very magnetic.Today is more magnetic. Come together this morning, but it's less obvious now.I woke up this morning and found that it seemed to have caught a cold, but I worshipped Buddha desperately in the morning, and I usually worshipped it every day, but I worshipped more in the morning and sweated, and now I feel better.
Originally, when I came to Canada on the first day, I had long heard that fellow initiates reminded me and cared about me, telling me to bring more clothes to keep warm.It was probably over ten degrees when it arrived on the first day, which was okay!It’s not very cold. I covered it with a thin quilt at night. I fell asleep very comfortably. I was very tired. As a result, I woke up from the cold in the middle of the night.In fact, I had a cold on the first day, but it has been almost three weeks since then.
Every day they see me eating a lot, thinking that I don't eat for lunch, so I eat a little more in the morning. In fact, I have a good appetite and a good spirit, but there is no such thing as an unacceptable phenomenon.Then why did I catch a cold on the first day, but I have been okay for the past three weeks?Because I worship the Buddha every day, suppressing it, and holding it down.But in fact, I had already caught a cold at that time, and the temperature difference between ours has been very large these few days, and sometimes it has soared to nearly XNUMX degrees, is there?Suddenly it was like this again.That’s why our iron-struck body is not good. It’s not the incorruptible body yet, so this morning it has a little bit of magnetism, and it’s really magnetized.Then why mention this?Here we can, because many fellow practitioners have wrong ideas, thinking that if you have practiced, or if you are blessed by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, then you will definitely not get sick. That's wrong.If you get sick, it means you haven't cultivated, it's not like this.
You see, I had a cold for three weeks last week, but I actually caught a cold on the first day, but I can stay down because I worship Buddha every day.If I can be more diligent and have better skills, I might be able to get rid of it in two days, and the cold germs will be gone. It depends on your efforts, but it must be the strength of the Three Treasures.Some people say that I have studied Buddhism for so long, so why are there a lot of disasters?Let me tell you that if you do not learn, you will suffer more disasters. You have to think like this because we have learned Buddhism and practiced. Through the blessing of the Three Jewels, we can make big things smaller and small things into nothing.Therefore, whether a practitioner has any kung fu is not to see if he will encounter difficulties, not to see if he will get sick, but to see if he encounters difficulties, and to see what kind of attitude he will face when he is sick. No trouble?It's still the same and very comfortable, as if it has passed it, I have passed mine.

I am very lucky to have the opportunity to be close to him.There is no chance for ordinary women, because we have the Po Lin Temple in Hong Kong!That is the Taoist style of the old monk Xuyun, who practiced asceticism, deep in the mountains and forests!Then the precepts are also very strict. It is impossible for women to follow the monk and the abbot of the precepts. Then I am the third year before this blessing comes.
In the afternoon, the waiter also had a good fate and gave me a chance. We have some masters, so they accompany us for a walk in the afternoon. He is in a wheelchair.Then I stayed close to him for a full XNUMX days, at least two hours a day, and there was so much time that I sometimes didn’t want to stay. I said, “Master, I’m going to meditate.” This is because it’s so common, every day. cause.In fact, this is very hard to come by. How many people want to take a plane, then put aside their physical, mental, and even family assets, and then come to Hong Kong to get close to our holy master. His virtue is inspired, and it is difficult to get close to good knowledge.
During that time, I really felt deeply, what is a great practitioner?His kind of virtue and kind of skill are something we may not keep up with for several lifetimes. Most people see: "Oh! I'm sick, and so old, in a wheelchair, maybe he doesn't have much practice." Actually, we can feel it right next to him. So, of course you have the ability to distinguish, and you have to have a little ability to distinguish.
How to judge?The feeling that Master gave me is a person who is separated from body and mind. How can his body be physical body not be bad?He has been ascetic for many years, and his nutrition is not very adequate. It is not even!Not paying attention to the body, and then Lantau Island is very famous for being wet. It is surrounded by islands, that is, it is all sea.And the geographical condition of the island is very, very humid. There is no reason to say that the body is not bad.
But with his spirit and his eyes, you don’t dare to be weird, but he is very kind and easy to get close to him. You just want to climb on his head, and you won’t be afraid that he will fix you like this. , The kind of feeling like grandpa.But there is majesty on the face, that is, you dare not to be blame, dare not to be obedient, dare not to be diligent, why?People are so diligent, we will be ashamed.Elderly people like this to give to all beings, and then have such a mighty meditation power, he naturally has a receptive force that makes it impossible for us to be too slack, separate body and mind!Let's imagine it.
People who are born with minor illnesses can scream, even commit suicide, right?He has no endurance, that is, he has no meditation and wisdom.As for the spiritual practitioner, he can eliminate all the hardships and hardships on the body.Then, all kinds of right and wrong slander, all will not affect his heart. It is not that he will not encounter these hardships and say, "Ah, this person has cultivated so well, why is there anyone criticizing him?" You need to know. !Do you want to know who is criticizing him?If the person criticizing him is a good person or a saint, then this person really has a problem.
If the critics are those who make trouble, it means that he is influential and that he has practice. The demons are worthy of them, right?He is influential!It may be a serious relationship that has affected others, and that demon has suffered losses, of course he came to criticize!You have to analyze it like this!You can see the truth.Let's take this cause to chat with everyone.Then you can see any cause and condition, and you can talk about the Dharma. If you see the Vimalakirti layman is ill, he deliberately, because the cause of his illness opened a very exciting prologue, "Vimalakirti Sutra", Manjushri came to ask for Dharma , There is also a relationship between Sariputta and him. These Arahants are wonderful.

Today we are going to continue to study in the third session of "Forty-eight Wishes". Here I also tell you a good news, or it can be said that it is not good news. It depends on personal needs.Some fellow practitioners like to keep healthy, that’s good news, because we’re going to be here next month to take everyone to learn yoga and worship Buddha, then this "forty-eight vows" will stop. If you want to study in depth, you will I don't think it's good news, but I will still talk about it to completion.
We will talk about the "Forty-Eight Vows" to Consummation today and the next session. If we can't finish it, we will recite it to Consummation, and the "Forty-Eight Vows" will read it again. This will be the same.We can talk long and short, but what we are going to talk about today is very important.As far as the old Xiu is concerned, some concepts can be clarified to help you truly build confidence in the rebirth.In addition, I have to explain it in detail. I have already recorded the "Forty-Eigh Promises" in XNUMX. You can go to Youku or ask the CD to watch it.

Okay, now we are officially sending out the lectures today, but some scriptures are in the last lecture. If you don’t bring them, read them with me: "When I was a Buddha, the light was boundless, and the ten directions were radiant. Victory over the Buddhas is better than the light of the sun and the moon, trillions of times.If there are sentient beings, see my light, touch their bodies, be happy, be kind, and be kind to our country in the next life.If you don’t, don’t take enlightenment. ".This is the seventh paragraph of the vow. There are two wishes in it: the thirteenth wish "Immeasurable Brightness" and the fourteenth wish "Touch the light and happiness".
"Brightness is boundless, illuminating all directions, surpassing all Buddhas. "If we really understand this sentence, we will have a truly supreme admiration for Buddha Amitabha. He is superior to all Buddhas, so where does his superiority appear?He uses light to show his surpassing, and his light can spread to the ten realms.In other words, any sentient being, from the Enlightenment Bodhisattva down to the hell sentient beings, can be captured by him. In hell, it is not only the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva who is in charge, but Amitabha will also go there to save sentient beings.Without a Buddha, let alone a Bodhisattva. The Bodhisattva is not yet complete, and his manifestation is not yet complete. No Buddha is superior to Amitabha. Only when we have such an understanding of Amitabha can we develop true admiration.
Then some fellow practitioners found it very strange, isn't every Buddha's realm equal?The Buddha, the Buddha and the Tao are the same, and his understanding and realm should all be the same.This is the part of the internal evidence from his practice. It is like saying that we have been in class from elementary school to graduate school. Then the graduate school will get XNUMX points. Assuming your thesis has the highest score, then the highest is the highest, and the highest is the perfect one. One of the standards.Everyone who has cultivated to this level must be equal. This is the case from the realm of internal evidence, but it is different from the perspective of willingness.
You see, all our beings also have Buddha nature!We are no different from the Buddha, in essence there is no difference.But we are still beings, right?Because our karma is different, then Buddha and Buddha have different aspirations and aspirations.The vows made by Buddha Amitabha surpassed all the Buddhas, so when he reaches Consummation, his retributions and retributions appearing in the phenomenal realm are vastly different. Each Buddha is different. Is that clear?Therefore, the victorious Buddhas are speaking from the perspective of fruit and from the perspective of phenomena. He is indeed superior to the Buddhas. This is not just a special kind of admiration, nor is it, nor is it a metaphor. This is true.Especially for us, we are not capable of relying on ourselves. According to other Buddhas, including Blessed Buddha, our precepts, concentration and wisdom, we do not have the ability to learn by ourselves, so we can only rely on Amitabha. There is a chance to save.Therefore, Buddha Amitabha is very important to us, surpassing all Buddhas, so understand?

We have to take a different look at Amitabha Buddha. The relationship with us is really different. We have to really have this feeling and truly realize that you will be very sincere when reciting this Buddha's name, and it will inspire our sincerity.It will grow day by day, and our good roots will grow, so should we listen to the scriptures?Yes!You have to understand this fact so that you can have some feelings in your heart.
The light of Amitabha Buddha shines all over the ten directions, have you been illuminated?Do you have?Do you feel it?Yep!They really have good roots. Of course I believe there are. If you didn't sit here, you would have run away long ago.The blessing of the Three Jewels is not only the blessing of Amitabha, but the blessing of the Three Jewels, especially the Amitabha, because we are here to practice and recite the Buddha, and we are chanting Amitabha. (A fellow practitioner answered: Yes.) Yes!But the power of the light, the blessing of light we get, the depth and the shallowness are different for everyone.
The deeper the person, the more liberated you will be at the moment. It is not until the death to be able to determine whether we have received the blessings of the Buddha and whether we have been enlightened by the Buddha.So if we have been studying for a long time now and feel that the Fa is not very happy, and the troubles are still not relieved, it means that we still need to strengthen. It is not that the Fa can only get this, but our methods and motivation are still problematic, so there is no Ways to get a lot of benefits, so what is the biggest obstacle?There is no respect. Almost everyone of us has to learn this.
Even if some people understand a little bit, they need to strengthen it, because at most they only have a little bit. Why?Because since childhood, the parents did not teach, the teacher did not teach, the teacher did not dare to teach, you were wrong, disrespectful to the teacher, he did not dare to talk about you, he said you wait for the parents to sue.The parents didn’t teach, why?What does the parent want to teach? He teaches you to be a person who is not respectful. He is not intentional. He spoils you. He doesn't understand, right?As soon as I come in, I will wait with you. According to the rules of other disciples: "If you come out, you must tell, but you must face. "When you go out, you must explain clearly where you are going, so that your parents can feel at ease.It is a courtesy to take the initiative to greet you when you come back. When you see your elders and your parents, you have to take the initiative to greet you when you come back.
Furthermore, you have to come from the bottom of your heart. It is better to have a respectful attitude. At least this politeness must be done in body, mouth, and mind. You can't be absolutely respectful with "intention", at least you have to do the basic etiquette of "body" and "mouth".Not now!Now the child enters the door: "Oh! Have you eaten yet? How are you? Tired! It's been hard for you, and it's been hard for class today." Ha!Upside down, right?You didn't give him a chance to respect you, his parents didn't give him, and didn't teach him to do so, it turned out that you were respectful to your children, and the blessings were repaired for you, and they were all right!You have killed a child, and your disrespect is taught by your parents, who are the first teachers.
Of course, it also has something to do with the good roots of one's own life. Some people are born to be good, kind, polite, and easy to teach. Some people can't help you teach.So basically this kind of person can't even teach Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. He sees that you are not taught, so he doesn't teach you, because it is useless to teach you, but becomes a bad relationship. Why do you want to teach?If you waste your energy, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas can't be so stupid. You can't teach you if you are immature, and you don't have respect.So this respect is too important, we must go from here, this is the biggest obstacle, the obstacle to the way.
You are not respectful. No matter how Master tells you, you will also listen here and go over there. You are still practicing and living according to your own ideas. Then no matter how much you listen to it, you will waste your time and hurt. Lose one's own blessings.Because when someone tunes with you once, in fact, you will lose it, and you will use up the blessings that you hit once, and you don't know.So you did not transform, but it was yourself that was wasted, it was fortunes that were lost, and it was yourself that was wasted.You didn't have the karma and blessings in your past life. How could you be taught by someone? It's impossible!Then you didn’t get the benefit after teaching, and the loss is yourself!To be clear.Therefore, how to respect your heart, you must study very deeply.
The first thing is to implement it in what?Be obedient, be obedient from the bottom of your heart. Don’t obey the superficial hypocrisy, especially the kind of self-righteousness and self-satisfaction: "Anyway, this is good for me. Anyway, I know it. I think it’s fine." Further: "Yours is not so good at all, mine is better. What your master teaches is not necessarily what it is, you may not be famous enough, generation is not high enough, etc...." He weighed a lot with you There are many conditions before he decides how much he wants to listen to. One point, two points, three points, or even criticizing if he doesn't listen at all. Do you think this is respectful?No, but also creating industry.Therefore, people who truly have good roots are XNUMX% completely obedient to teachings, and then they only listen to five points, three points, and one point, depending on the depth of your good roots, and implement them in behavior. After listening to them, they have no response at all and no change. That kind of person either knows that there is a problem or has no intention to practice.

There is also practice. Although we are practicing Buddhism, we are not wrong by relying on the power of the Buddha, but relying on the power of the Buddha is going to be reborn. This matter must be XNUMX% dependent on the power of the Buddha. It is impossible for ordinary people in the Buddha country to go. No, when the bodhisattva can't go, how can we go? It refers to the matter of rebirth.But if you really want to ask the person to die, you can’t disrespect the Three Jewels at the moment, you can’t follow the teachings, you can’t not practice, and you can break the evil and cultivate the good.
So where do we start to cultivate goodness?Keep the precepts.Jie Dinghui!You can do as much as you can, and you will do your best. Although this has nothing to do with our passing away, if you do not do well, you can still pass away when you die, but you will never deliberately be lazy: "Oh! Anyway, pass away." You don’t need to keep the precepts, then I just disperse like this, and I am very slack.” Then this kind of person can't die, why?You have that kind of unreliable personality, sneaky, and sometimes you will be scheming, old fritters, and other temperaments.
If this kind of person is not honest, your wish may be fake, and you will not be able to die.Therefore, those who really want to practice and want to die must be sure that they will hold the precepts, cultivate concentration, and enlighten the wisdom, and the three learnings of precept, concentration and wisdom will definitely not be able to escape.But the difference is for those who are self-reliant. We don’t have to do what we can. You can do it as hard as you can. The more diligent you are, the deeper the relationship between you and Amitabha, the stronger your renunciation and the better. There may be fewer, but your motivation is weaker. The difference is here, and there will definitely be a change.
So the practice of precept, concentration and wisdom must first start with the mind and receiving precepts. I have talked a lot about these few sessions at the library. The first step of learning is to ask for precepts first and ask for precepts to gain a sense of precepts. It is also our kind of commitment and a kind of willingness.It cannot be said that some people may feel that they may not understand it. They feel that they have a heart, that I want to take the precepts, it is more important that I want to keep the precepts, and I don’t care about things. In fact, this is wrong, this is wrong.Because in fact, this subconscious still gives themselves a lot of space. Many people think, "In this case, there is no need to worry about breaking the precepts or whatever..." Or that they don’t have that much pressure. This is the mentality of ordinary beings. That's it.
Unless you are really a big bodhisattva, there is no such thing as whether or not you hold the precepts. You are very comfortable and have nothing to do with things, so of course you don't have to care about your actions.If we are ordinary people, then we must be very careful that we will deceive ourselves, because you have not done it. If you really have that mind, you cannot possibly not do it, unless there is no cause and condition, the condition has not come!no way.Like our rare cause and fate of lawyer Guo Qing this time, such a great fate, you don’t know how to cherish the blessing of the Three Treasures. It can be seen that you don’t value the blessing of the Three Treasures, right?Or you think, “I’m enough, I’m satisfied, I have my own way to cultivate.” These are my slowness, and I don’t follow the cause and conditions, or that you are not really motivated to practice. Of course we don’t force our minds to practice, but we must recognize exactly what state we are in, and don’t deceive ourselves and misunderstand the news.
This is very important, and there must be something reasonable.There is something. You are the result of your reasoning. The director must be truly fulfilled, and this is the real state.Then it’s okay if you don’t have the heart to practice. It’s also good to cultivate blessings. Everyone starts at this stage, but if you really want to practice, you must take the precepts.What we call the three conversions, do you know what the three conversions mean? "Convert to the Buddha, to the law, to the monk. ",right?But this refuge to Buddha has only one form.
Refuge is to rely on. To rely on is to listen to the words of the Three Jewels, and to do it to have real refuge. The Three Jewels urge you to keep the precepts and receive the precepts. If you don’t listen, you don’t have true refuge. Your refuge is just a fake form. There is no real kind of correspondence. Of course, getting married is also okay. This is called getting married and taking refuge, and then cultivating blessings in Buddhism.We have to see our own state clearly!You can’t read it wrong. If you read it wrong, you will always be stuck there and stuck in the mist. No matter how bad you are today, it doesn’t matter if you don’t have the intention. It will improve, but it doesn’t matter.

Some people and some fellow practitioners misunderstood and said, "Hey! Full, this kind of rooted person, the person with the most perfect roots, merits, and destiny.

All the stages are arranged for him, then this kind of person is the most blessed, he is also obedient, and has the best roots.Another child is very rebellious!He wouldn't listen. How did your parents make arrangements with him? People who come here will make arrangements for you. If you don't accept it, you just have to go for it by yourself. Okay!You just go for it, and you come back again. It's okay to go back, or accept it. The Buddha still wants to save, and he won't abandon any kind of sentient beings.
Master Yinguang also said that he also advised us, because this kind of person, this kind of person, his good roots are not so deep, he feels that he has to rely on himself, and you feel that you have to rely on yourself, which shows that you feel that the Buddha is not enough. We are also powerful!Karma.So don't think about what strength we have to rely on ourselves. We still don't have any strength when we cultivate to death. Why?The standard of our strength is to have a pure heart, no thoughts!It's the purity of the Buddha's realm, so how we ordinary people cultivate a little bit of good roots, your ten good karma can't be cultivated, right?You can't cultivate this human and natural cause, but you still cultivate the cause of the Buddha. How can you get it?We can’t cultivate, so our method is to bring karma to life. It doesn’t mean that you will attain the realm of the Buddha after you have cultivated in your entire life. So we basically say that there is no merit that can be turned back.
Those so-called virtues of precept, concentration and wisdom, in fact, you don't even have an Arahant enough!What's more, you have not certified an Arahant. Even an Arahant can go to life by believing and wishing to recite the Buddha. It is not possible for him to be born directly to Amitabha by his own merits. If you cannot be born, you must be a Buddha. To come to pick you up, you have to make a vow, believe and recite the Buddha, and then the Buddha will pick you up, so you have a way to go. What's more, we haven't cultivated as powerful as an Arahant!right?What merits can you give back?absolutely not.Don't think too much of yourself, you can fix it, and try to fix it as much as possible. There is nothing bad about this.

This is true in this world. People cannot be trusted. This is true. Parents cannot be trusted. Why?He is also an ordinary man. Although he loves his children, there is absolutely no doubt that he can even give up his life for his children. The problem is that no matter what he does, his ability is limited, and he can't bring us to life in Paradise!So in the final analysis, no one in this world can believe it, only the Buddha can believe it.
But in spite of this, we still have to use the root of goodness, with the heart of learning Buddhism, be compassionate to all sentient beings, and then learn to inspire our root of faith, and believe in everyone.By believing in the blessings of the power of the Buddha, first believe in the Buddha, because the Buddha is believable.After believing in Buddhism, we then try to use this kind of believing virtue to the people around us as much as possible. Very scary!Very scary!So don’t think, “Oh! It’s okay. I’m good fortune now. It’s okay to recite Buddhism until I have no intentions. If I think I’m happy, I’ll forget it.” This is a very dangerous thing. Being a monk is the most complete. But if you are at home, you have to do your best. Don’t be dominated by the pursuit of the five desires. Life is good. At least you can still hold on to it. That’s why Amitabha does not abandon people, so he has to make this wish. Look at a person like this, she will die in a very good state, which is equivalent to predicting that the time will come and then standing and dying. She is not sick, and she will die without disease. She walks and then stands there and then dies. She doesn’t have to be special. The conditions, why are they like this?This is her own aspiration. In her heart, she believes in the Buddha, and she is willing to go. She is chanting Buddha!I usually do chanting in Buddhism, and I do volunteer work and practice together.So all the old Bodhisattvas present here have all the opportunities, all have the opportunity, don't want to say that we don't know the words and then don't understand anything, don't worry, there are opportunities to die on foot and die while standing.
There is one more extraordinary, but there is no time to talk about it now, and there will be a chance to talk about it later.Zen Master Gu Xing is my idol, really. Only Buddha Shakyamuni has such a record. He burned his body with the fire of this samādhi to rebirth. Apart from the Buddha, he is also an honest person, and he is honestly reciting the Buddha. He is just a very ordinary person, so why?It is not based on precepts and wisdom, nor did he say to study the scriptures. He relies on a kind of faith in the Buddha, and then honestly recites the Buddha. In each Buddha's name, there is the greatest blessing of merit, and the greatest blessing of merit comes from this Buddha's name. , It’s not about what precept and concentration wisdom you cultivate. In fact, precept and concentration wisdom is only incidental, a natural response. The real merit lies in this Buddha sign.Therefore, only honest people can feel the greatest merit, and if we cultivators practice in this way, then can we truly grasp the most core practice.
