Tonight, we are going to formally study the main points of the "Blessed Life Sutra". The initiates are familiar with this sutra.What we use is the book compiled by the old layman Xia Lianju. This book divides the scriptures into forty-eight grades. The first three grades belong to the order, the first grade and the second grade belong to the order of the letter, which is to enhance the confidence of the public. It is also done in accordance with the instructions of the Buddha when he was dying.The Blessed One will explain before his death and before his death. In the future, each sutra must explain six kinds of achievements in order to win the public's trust.So when we see the Buddhist scriptures, there will be these six accomplishments like what I heard and so on.The third product is the initiation sequence. This initiation sequence will be different according to the cause and condition of each sutra.Generally speaking, it belongs to the part of the preface, that is, the prelude to the entire Fa conference. The fourth stage is the beginning of the authentic division, which is the scope of our main study.Among the three ranks in the previous order, it is actually very important. If we can deeply understand its expression and its deep meaning, we can also get a lot of experience. 

In general, we see the content of the first product "Faculty of the Sages First", but we know that there are six kinds of achievements in total.Where is this sutra spoken? How many people crashed? What location? And so on these records, and then we look at it so lightly, in fact, this part, especially the experience this sutra gives us, can More profoundly, from this first product, there are five types of people in the meeting, that is, Bodhisattva, Sound and Hearing, Predestined Enlightenment, Heaven and Human, and there are five vehicle types, all of which come to this Fa conference.So what does this show? The show corresponds to Amitabha's wish.He said that this sutra issued forty-eight vows and fulfilled the special method of the Pure Land. The real purpose is to attract sentient beings from the ten directions, from the Bodhisattva of Enlightenment to the ordinary people of the three evil ways.This is not necessarily the case in other sutras.For example, the Prajna Sutra and the Diamond Sutra, the objects that are introduced, are mainly Subhuti, and he is the first to liberate.Therefore, from the part of the crasher, we can see who can benefit from studying this sutra? Only this sutra, this method has the widest range of subjects, which of course also includes us, especially Able to be three general quilts.

Any kind of root person can be saved, so if we have good eyes, we can feel at ease when we see the first product.The gangsters in this sutra have deep expressions. As long as the gangsters in this sutra are the subject of the shooting, this is very clear.So since it is a collection of the five vehicles, all the people of the five vehicles can hear this method and become a crowd of people, then this gives us a very clear proof that we all have a share in the whole life.What’s more remarkable is that whether it is the Great Bodhisattva of Enlightenment Bodhisattva, the Great Bodhisattva like Guanshiyin Bodhisattva, or the Ordinary People of the Six Paths, because the cultivation causes are the same, the results are also equal. This is incredible, not only equal but also All things can go straight to the land, this is something we didn't even dare to think about before.To repay the land is to repay the solemn land. It is truly the pure land where Buddhas and Bodhisattvas live!

In our previous concept, from the sub-judgment of the Tiantai family, we judged that there are four soils in the world of bliss. The bottom layer is the first floor, where the sages live together, and the second floor goes up one more floor, which is convenient for surplus soil. The third floor is the solemn soil. That is to say, the top of the earth is always silent, and we all think we are ordinary people!It must be at the lowest level, and it is still a question of whether you can go. Even if you die, at most, you will live together in the land of the sages. This is the judgment of the Tiantai family.If we rely on our own strength to study, let’s not say that the lowest level of mortal cohabitation is not possible for us even if we want to die. With our abilities...so we can’t rely on our own efforts to study and rebirth to the pure land, we must Take a shortcut. This shortcut is exactly the path Amitabha Buddha wants us to choose. As long as we rely on His power, all of us can be reborn into the blissful world, and because of the reason for cultivating equality, everyone is chanting Nanwu Amitabha. Because of the same, the results will Same, this one is very incredible.

This big bodhisattva like Guanshiyin Bodhisattva, or an Arahant, or a saint, they have been learning for a long time. So, today we encountered this method at the same time as us, and heard this Buddha title, and made the same wish to rebirth to the world of bliss. the same.They have been cultivating for so long, relying on their own strength.As a result, we didn't repair anything, and the sins of our lives, once we passed away, were equal to their retribution.If the troubles are heavy, the Hinayana may still have troubles at the initial stage. Maybe it is possible to hear this result, and there is still a little imbalance, so I can't afford it! I have been cultivating for so long.

Actually!This Dharma really talks about fate!Everything is predestined, there is no difference between right and wrong, good or bad, everything is based on predestined conditions, even the taste of our departed life, Master Shandao also said that we are all encountering predestined conditions. What kind of predecessor you encounter will make the difference the result of.As far as the Buddha and Bodhisattva stand, as far as Amitabha’s stand, Buddha’s hearts are equal, so he will never separate. Oh! I like this one better, and its realm is higher.So I give him more and better. This person is stupid and bad. I don’t like it, so I give him a little less.The Buddha's mind is different from ours. The Buddha's mind is like a parent. They must treat their children equally. When children come home, they have to eat when they are hungry.I can't say this, hey!If you are a doctor, eat more. This one is relatively small, so I can just give him half a bowl.

From the standpoint of the Buddha, when we come to understand the scriptures, we will be easily enlightened. Don’t always distinguish from our own standpoints. This way we will never be able to open up wisdom, so can we gain benefits from our studies? Big or small, in fact, depends entirely on fate.So we must hurry to grasp the good karma! How do we create a good karma? If the destiny does not come, how do we create it? It is to have a respectful heart to seek the Dharma, and from the heart like to get close to good knowledge, then you just have your heart. Whatever you want to happen.If our mind is slack, we love to learn but don't study it, we don't pay much attention to it, and we don't have respect. What kind of predestiny is what we feel? Of course it is a bad predestined one, so what we want will come true!

The minds of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have no thoughts and distinctions, that is, the minds are equal.This sentient being brought a large cup of water, and he filled it all up, and another sentient being brought a small cup, and he filled him a little bit. If sentient beings feel, Buddha and Bodhisattva will respond. Your respect The stronger the heart, the stronger the wish, the greater the response that Buddhas and Bodhisattvas should have.So everything depends on fate. When we encounter this fate today, we must cherish it and don’t doubt it.You would rather believe, oops! I have no part in dying, just like dying, I can only be born in the land where the sages live together. The worst reward may really be for you.So, today we met the fate of Master Shandao, telling us that as long as we pass away, all can go straight to retribution. If we are willing to believe, then we really have great blessings!

In the last product of this sutra, the forty-eighth benefit of the hearing sutra, the sutra says: "Venerable Ananda, Maitreya Bodhisattva, and the Bodhisattvas, Shengwen, the Eight Dragons, and all the people, hearing what the Buddha said, everyone is very happy. Believe in practice. "You see, at the beginning of this sutra, these five-carriage people crashed until the end. After listening to it, these people all believed, accepted, and practiced. Even the Great Bodhisattva did not dare to doubt, and they believed and accepted.What message does it tell us here? We all have to understand it carefully, and we can’t overlook it. They are guided by faith. First believe and believe in unquestioning. Then they can practice. Believe and practice. Let’s take a closer look. Like There are some other classics in "Ksitigarbha Sutra". At the end of it, when everyone goes away as a gift, they are not necessarily all believed and practiced! Let's compare and see, it is really different.In particular, this Pure Land Method relies on the power of Buddha, so it is believed to be practiced, and one must start with faith.If we don't believe it, it will not be easy for you to work hard.

You have the opportunity to read through the scriptures. Other scriptures, scriptures that you can practice on your own, may not necessarily be believed and practiced in the end. This all reveals a lot of information to us.Indeed!We first heard that as soon as we dies, we can be born to rebirth and live on the same floor and the same realm as Guanshiyin Bodhisattva. This is really hard to believe.So in the Tang Dynasty, someone asked such a question and asked Master Shandao. Master Shandao answered like this in the "Si Tie Shu". Let's read this passage again.Asked: "The other Buddha and the earth, the one who speaks, the retribution is exquisite, the little saint is difficult to step, and the mortal barriers are difficult to enter?" Tofo is willing to make a strong predestined condition to cause the five vehicles to enter.” This is the answer of Master Shandao.Indeed, the real report is solemn, even an Arahant can't go, and an Arahant can only be born to the second floor, which is convenient for surplus.

If you rely on self-reliance, there are indeed four soils, and the Tiantai family has not made a mistake. It is based on the level of the individual's defilement, and there are differences. The lighter your troubles, the higher you are born, the higher the level of troubles. The heavier, like if we rely on our own self-study, we may at most live together in the land of the sages, this is not wrong.However, the problem is our Pure Land Method. We don't take this path. We take a shortcut. This is the true method of the Pure Land Method. It is to completely set off the Buddha's aspiration and rely entirely on the Buddha!Relying on the power of the Buddha, he teaches us how to do, we do, believe and wish to do, believe and wish to recite the Buddha, we must work hard here, and then the time comes, and He is responsible for taking in.

We know that the old monk also advocated this Wenchang emperor's yin poem. This Wenchang emperor had also aspired to live in the Pure Land before, but he also had an element of self-reliance, and he made a vow to be reborn in the Paradise of Bliss.But he went on his own. He didn’t wait for the Buddha to come to pick him up, and he didn’t ask the Buddha to come to pick him up. As a result, he went halfway and saw that the mountain was beautiful. Then he thought, wow! What is the color of the mountain? It’s so beautiful! It’s just like the Paradise of Elysium. When this thought moves, he immediately reincarnates as a mountain god, so it’s very dangerous. It’s easy to get lost in the Elysium on his own, and things will happen halfway. Emperor Wenchang has a record and historical record.So we still depend on the Buddha XNUMX% honestly, don't rely on the Buddha XNUMX%, and then XNUMX% are not insured.

We must work hard to be XNUMX% trustworthy, so that we can go straight to the land, see the Buddha immediately, and we can come back soon after we wish, without having our family wait for a long time.This one percent is not insured, why? It’s like we are going to jump to the opposite side by one step now. There is a cliff in the middle. We have to jump to the opposite side. We are about to jump to the opposite side. , You still fell to pieces, right? It's just a little bit, and you're in trouble if you don't get through.So we must work hard on this, hoping to be able to sense the part of Foli as soon as possible, and we will feel at ease right now.

Let us read it again: "Those who become Buddhas in the pure land are all sambris; those who become Buddhas in the filthy land are all incarnations.Amitabha Tathagata, lotus blossoms, star king Tathagata, dragon lord king Tathagata, Baode Tathagata, etc. come, purify the Buddha temple, and those who gain the Tao, become the Tao, if everything is the samurai Buddha. 』This is very clear to us, Amitabha is in the Paradise of Bliss, he is now a Buddha!Become a Buddha in the pure land!The world of bliss is the pure land, and he is the samurai Buddha.

What about the so-called majestic soil of actual retribution! It is manifested by his quiet merits. Then we live in this filthy soil of Sapo because of our greed, anger, ignorance and karma. What if it is a manifestation of this filthy soil? A Buddha like Shakyamuni is an incarnation, an incarnation of a Buddha.The Buddha has three bodies: Dharmakaya, Sambhakaya, and Incarnation.This scripture proves to us that it is very clear. Since it is the samurai Buddha, of course the one who lives is the samurai, so it needs to be said! His dharmakaya is dwelling in the constant solitary light soil, but his samurai, of course, is to live Hello!So, if we follow the eighteen vows and fulfill this condition, we will rely XNUMX% on Amitabha, completely rely on Him, without self, without any little power.

Master Shandao has always reminded us to confess ourselves and always remind ourselves that it is sin, life and death, ordinary people, "Since the robbery, there is often no circulation, and there is no reason to leave." We have no ability at all, don't want to say that I still have One percent ability, then you can only rely on ninety-nine percent. This is a very important key.The more we feel that we have deep karma and no chance, then it is possible for us to hold Amitabha firmly.If we rely XNUMX% on Him at this time, we will become one with Amitabha.

Since it is one, then the merit of Amitabha Buddha is our merit, and we receive it right now. This is the truth.So if we have very little faith, we can't rely on it, or the benefits we get are very small, the blessings we get are very small, and the more we have confidence, even XNUMX%, then we can all receive all the merits of Amitabha at the moment.Therefore, this letter is very important, and it must be deepened continuously. Then since he is one with Amitabha, and Amitabha lives in retribution, of course we will live in retribution. This is a certain truth.Therefore, as soon as we die, we will go straight to the retribution, and we all have a share.

If you don’t go straight to the land, it’s because you are suspicious, you don’t have true faith and aspirations to Amitabha Buddha, to this belief, vow, and deed. If you don’t have enough, you can also be reborn when you die. That is to be born into the Ninth-Rank Lotus, according to yours. The depth of the doubting mind, the depth of your sin barrier, and so on, there is the difference of the Ninth-Rank, then the difference of the Ninth-Rank is all in the lotus flower.Then our sutra talks about Biandi Suspect City!In case I don't believe it, will I be born to the border? Yes, I am born to the border.

But this border is not in addition to the retribution. There is also a border. The border is the lotus flower. Inside the lotus bud, we know that the world of bliss is all over the ten worlds! There are no obstacles! This scripture all talks about it. , And it is a pure return.How big is the scope of the Elysium? It is full of ten methods. Since it is full of ten methods, how can there be another border?Outside the world of bliss, it's impossible, so understand?

The scope of the Elysium itself is already full of ten worlds. All the places are within the scope of the Elysium. Of course, there is no place. In addition, there is another place where there is a suspicious city.So this so-called frontier city of doubt is also in the process of reporting the land, but it is because it is the bud of the lotus flower. Because the bud has not bloomed, the lotus is not blooming, so it is as if you haven’t entered the land report. You have not yet entered the world of bliss, you still can’t see the Buddha! You need the flowers to bloom to see the Buddha! When the flowers bloom, you still have doubts, so you can’t see the Buddha. , It's not that the Buddha didn't show you, but we couldn't see it ourselves, and couldn't see his heart. We don't believe in him!

If you believe it, you will see it, and you will see the Buddha's mind. When you see the Buddha's mind, you will surely believe it. So this is a relative realm. So even if we are born in a suspicious city in the border area, we are in the lotus bud, so the longest time is At the time of the twelve kalpas, it’s not bad to actually be born into a lotus womb! As long as you can die! At that time, the Great Compassion Bodhisattva will take the initiative to enter this lotus womb and tell you to get rid of your doubts.Then there will be no doubts about the Buddha's wisdom, the Buddha's wishes, etc. for this Amitabha Buddha. At this time, the flowers will bloom to see the Buddha.Therefore, the first product, "First product of the sages of the Fa-Assembly", actually hides a fact for us, that is to say, this sutra can be universally covered by the three roots, and can make any rooted person become a Buddha. What about the object?All the people of the Five Vehicles can go straight to the retribution, and all of them can be reborn, then the rebirth must be reborn to the retribution.Because the Elysium is a pure world of retribution, this is the explanation given to us by the Master Shandao, and this is the focus of the first product, and we will talk about this part.

Through you, we usually have a layman here who is teaching the "Blessed Life Sutra" or an old master, especially the "Now" "The Pure Land Great Scriptures" is also very detailed, and it is best to listen to it in detail.After you are familiar with every sentence of this scripture, you keep on, and then you look back and listen to the essentials. You will have a good taste, and you will be able to enter a deep realm at once and master it. Essence, focus.

That's because the ten days we arranged this time are for the essentials, and this is also a relatively difficult place to learn.So everyone will get rid of it first, and you will find that listening to the main points is more flavorful.Listening to the explanations on the meaning of the words, I think it is nothing, very shallow.So after listening to this... but both are very important, so if you don’t understand the meaning of the scriptures, it is not easy for you to understand the meaning deeply. This is that the two must complement each other. After the two parts are very familiar, slowly You will have your own enlightenment, and you can also speak out some essentials yourself, but what we say must be compared to the great virtues of the patriarch. Don’t have your own meaning, that is, the annotations of the great patriarch will follow us. Confirmation, so that's ok.

"Virtue Zun Puxian second", what fact does this product show us? The sixteen sages such as the virtuous protectors mentioned in the scriptures belong to the Bodhisattva of Enlightenment, the great bodhisattvas from other worlds, and When they come to this conference to learn and influence the people, they will all follow the virtues of the Samantabhadra. In other words, they also have the virtues and realms of the Samantabhadra, so we know that they are all waiting. Jue Bodhisattvas are all replenishment Buddhas, and their status is equal to Samantabhadra Bodhisattva.Then we also saw Samantabhadra at the end of the "Huayan Sutra". Forty-one Dharmakayas were all led to bliss. Therefore, in this product, Dezun Samantabhadra focuses on explaining the greatness of these meetings. Bodhisattvas, since they all abide by the virtues of Samantabhadra, and Samantabhadra also persuades everyone to live in the blissful world in the end, so have these big bodhisattvas who came from other countries turn to the blissful world of survival?Definitely all return to survival.

So, what does this mean? Even Enlightenment Bodhisattva and Dhammakaya ask to be born in the world of bliss, let alone us.At that time, we thought it was very strange. When we realized that the Bodhisattva was already a Buddha, he would soon become a Buddha. There is only one grade of ignorance left, so why still ask for a life?In fact, that is our own imagination. Waiting to realize that the Bodhisattva is a replenishment Buddha, but it is only such a rank! At least a big A Sangjue! The more you go up, the more difficult it is to attain, and the more difficult it is to improve!Therefore, even waiting for enlightenment Bodhisattva has to rely on the blessing of Amitabha Buddha, it is easy to become a Buddha!Not to mention us!Therefore, the main purpose of the Buddhist priest Wei Yuan’s collection of the Puxian’s vows in the Pure Land Scriptures was to subdue these slow-hearted sentient beings, or to say that there are some more beneficial roots.

We are generally old Bodhisattvas, you should persuade some, you persuade a scholar and professor, teach him to recite the Buddha like you, do you think you can persuade you to persuade you?They will say, "They will persuade you in turn, oh! Old man, you are too superstitious! What are you going to do in the world of bliss? Practice morality, concentration and wisdom yourself, and achieve real merits. This is sensible! The Dharma is sensible!" Wow! ! Just a doctrine comes out, it seems to be the top and the truth, it seems right, and you can’t say that others are wrong, but that what he is talking about is not the theory of the pure land, the pure land is to be obedient. This is not superstition, but because the old Bodhisattva does not understand the truth. , So it seems a bit superstition, it is difficult to convince these intellectuals, so the Samantabhadra Bodhisattva was moved out.

The realm of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva is so high that you can't understand it if you want to be reasonable. People do it to you, and they have survived. You are still here, and I have to look down on this method slowly, so there is indeed such a big way at the moment. This kind of subduing the slow-hearted effect.Our old monk also got into it in this way, so that we truly devote ourselves to practicing the Pure Land Method from the bottom of my heart, and dare not neglect this method anymore.Therefore, the second product "Virtue Zun Samantabhadra" mainly tells us the fact that the enlightened Bodhisattvas who attended the meeting are all seeking to live in the Pure Land. It does not mean that we really have to follow them to learn and enter this realm. What they have done The realm described in the scriptures in the second product is Dharmakaya, how can we do it!

You have to yearn for and learn, but in reality, you really need to be able to start. Then you can get to the Paradise of Bliss. So don’t worry about it. I can’t do a single sentence in the second product. I can’t die. It’s not like this. .We are ordinary people now!How could Amitabha Buddha require us to meet the standard of Samantabhadra in order to be reborn? This is illogical!Therefore, the content of the second product describes the realm of these bodhisattvas themselves, not that we are required to do it. Don't misunderstand this.

It seems to be Ananda's request for Dharma, and the Blessed One shines. In fact, it is also a matter of self-explanation. "The same, except that the Amitabha Sutra is very clear. He directly said that the Buddha told the Buddha. This "the Buddha told the Venerable Sariputra". The Sariputra did not ask!No one asked, directly, and the Buddha took the initiative to speak directly. This is obvious.However, both "Blessed Life Sutra" and "Guan Sutra" are a kind of meditation. The blessing in the meditation is that the Buddha used his divine power to bless the crashed person, and asked him to take the initiative to ask for the Dharma and speak, so in fact, it is also without question. Saying is also a matter of self-explanation, so this is a situation in which this sutra was initiated.

Because of the Pure Land Method, no one can ask!There is no way for Ananda and Dingjue Bodhisattva to ask!I can't even think of this kind of Buddha state!What's more, how did Ananda ask, it must be the blessing of Buddha, and he deliberately asked him to inspire under this situation.So this third product has a scripture, let’s recite it now, "For the sake of mourning and benefiting all beings, you can ask for such subtle meanings. Asking this question is better than offering for the Arahant and Pichi Buddha for one day. The people of the heavens, squirming, squirming, etc., have a multiplicity of merits. Why? When the people of the heavens contain all the spirits, they are relieved because of your question.", see this paragraph first.Therefore, the origin of this conference, especially for ordinary people, is of great significance. It means that this method is a special method that is beyond the enlightenment bodhisattva, and there is no way to think about it. The special thing is that it is because Amitabha Buddha said in this scripture. When it arrives, when the people of the heavens contain all the spirits, it means that the reason why this method is special is that Amitabha saw all the spirits of the people of the heavens, and it was opened specifically for our ordinary people who have six sins and sufferings. This is for us. The significance is particularly great.

Although we have seen some of our forty-eight vows, and some have made vows for the Bodhisattva, because the hearts of Buddhas are equal!All sentient beings in the ten directions must be blessed, but other bodhisattvas will not fail to become Buddhas with or without this special method, nor will they fail to escape from the six realms and suffer eternal suffering from reincarnation.But for us people of the heavens! For these six ordinary humans, this is of great significance. That's why the Blessed One admired Venerable Ananda for being able to enlighten this sutra, this merit!It's very big, better than offering to arahant, Pichi Buddha, etc. for one day.So this paragraph is also very clear!We six ordinary people!It must be through this sutra to be able to get liberation. After all, liberation is because this sutra is aimed at us.

Let’s look at another passage of Scripture, “Ananda: Tathagata is born with endless great compassion and mourning for the Three Realms, so it is born in the world. Just explain Taoism, want to save the crowd, and benefit from the real benefits. It is difficult to see. Like a beautiful night flower, it is hoped that "Appear", this paragraph tells us why the Buddhas in the ten directions...Tathagata represents the Buddhas in the ten directions. It wants to appear in the world to show ready-made Buddhas and preach sutras. The purpose is to benefit from the truth. , Especially it refers to our method, which can become a Buddha at a time, and can get the most true and most substantial benefits.

Then this cause is very difficult to come across, "like a beautiful night flower, it is rare to show up."We all know that the beautiful night flower, the night flower, blooms at night, only two or three hours away. This beautiful night flower is even rarer and not easy to see.So this paragraph tells us that it is very difficult to encounter this method. We must cherish it, and it also reveals the original thoughts of the Buddhas in the ten directions. The main thing is indeed to benefit from the real benefits, and to really want this. What is explained is the Dafa that is to be born into a Buddha at one time. This is the main point of the Dafa Dependent Origination.

The purpose of the Buddha’s birth is to save all living beings. Once you become a Buddha, it is not to teach you the Tripitaka and Twelve Books. This life will teach you a little bit so that you can learn slowly, and then reincarnate and be a human in the next life. learn.This is not the Buddha's original thought, and there is no need to spend a lot of time to bless Ananda to explain this special method.Eighty-four thousand methods are too many! Then this is not special.Therefore, this Dependent Origination also reveals the origin of the Buddhas of the ten directions. It's like we listened to it for a few days, alas!so tired!Occasionally listen to the scriptures, and then see if the master is speaking well or not. There is no.... I don’t understand the attitude of mastering the causes and conditions, such as studying the Fa. In this part, many of our fellow practitioners still need to learn and strengthen. How much benefit we can get from listening to the Scriptures and the Fa depends entirely on our desire to seek the Fa.Our attitude toward listening to the scriptures is not whether the master teaches well or not, or whether the Fa is good or not, but in the realm, there is a kind of Buddha called Pichi Buddha, predestined consciousness.Predestined consciousness is enlightenment through causes and conditions. He sees all the good and evil in the world. He is sentimental and ruthless. He can be enlightened. There is no time when a Buddha is born. He himself can become a Buddha and become a Pichi Buddha, so he is not outside. The environment lies entirely in our attitude towards learning.

If you come to listen to the sutra today and you are to become a Buddha, then you will be sure that you will not be late for five or ten minutes, and you will not let it go for a day. I am afraid that you will not listen to one or two sentences. Every sentence has its own meaning. One sentence of blessing, even if you have XNUMX% confidence in your death, you must continue to deepen, keep our confidence, strengthen our confidence, this is the correct attitude to seek the law. 
Therefore, the Dharma Zang Bhikkhu had a very good attitude in studying and studying at that time, so his teacher spoke for him alone, and there were two hundred and one billion ten squares of monasteries, all of which are now in front of him, for him to learn. After investigating, the advantages of others are used, but the shortcomings are eliminated. Then he carefully observes and investigates, and spends five kalpas thinking about it, and makes a forty-eight vow. The forty-eight vow is to listen to the sutra for a thousand years, and then again. Seeing the status of so many Buddhist temples, coupled with the five kalpas of careful consideration and choice, I made the forty-eight great vows. These forty-eight vows were not so easy to send, and he was at least so at the time. The realm of the Dharmakaya Bodhisattva, a person of this level of aptitude, he made these forty-eight great wishes, and the wishes are the essence.

In the past, we didn’t understand when we were learning. We thought that when someone made a vow, we should learn to make a vow. Therefore, Amitabha Buddha made forty-eight vows, and I wanted to make forty-nine vows, and I made it too!No matter how you look at it for a long time, there are loopholes, and there is great wisdom in this vow!In the past, when the Blessed One was alive, there were women who said that she wanted to be a woman for life and life, and to use a woman body to save sentient beings. The result was reprimanded by the Blessed One. When you are a woman, it means that you can never become a Buddha in your life, and you can never become a Buddha for all life. !If the body of a woman who becomes a Buddha cannot become a Buddha, she must turn her body into a male body, because the female body represents the karma body, the karma body is relatively poor, and the karma body is relatively heavy and deep. She actually made this kind of aspiration, so now I understand that she really wants to make a vow It's not easy!

This vow...forty-eight vows, all vows are from the realm of his bodhisattva, and he is such a teacher. Under the guidance of him, he observes the situation of the ten Buddha temples with his own eyes, and then makes choices, so Of course we have to learn to imitate their desire to make great wishes, but we can't make them. We have to accept everything. If Amitabha makes any wishes, we will use all of them. If we can't do it now, we will be able to do it when we die. You can't do one wish. People have issued five kalpas, and the five kalpas made these wishes, and then it took countless kalpas to fulfill these wishes.

All resources.In other words, it was originally that we should cultivate and become Buddha by ourselves, but Amitabha did it for us, and our merit Amitabha did it for us. This is a great blessing!

What the Buddhas of the ten directions do not have. The Buddhas of the ten directions teach us how to cultivate by ourselves. Amitabha spends immeasurable kalpas for us to help us complete the resources of the first-generation Buddha. We only need to... He puts all these merits in this sentence. In the Buddha's name, we only need to be faithful and willing to go and die!And he also came to pick him up in person, how thoughtful you look!If we reach this level and then personally pick it up, we will become a Buddha as soon as we reach the world of bliss, and we will become a Buddha, the pure one-bodhisattva realm.

We are equal to the Buddha by just one sentence. This is what Amitabha Buddha used his immeasurable kalpa time to help us accumulate. It takes a cause to have an effect. Amitabha’s kindness to us is not just to teach us to cultivate ourselves. He I really paid too much for our immeasurable robbery, bleeding and sweating!Giving all kinds of wealth, Dharma, and Fearless Giving, how many things He does for us, we never feel, we don’t know that there is such a thing at all, so we don’t know how to be grateful.

Many years ago, I was invited to write a few Buddhist songs at the Pure Sect Society of Singapore. There is a lyrics in it called gratitude. I have this experience especially. We sentient beings, among the lyrics, I wrote that, we Why don’t sentient beings know how to be grateful?We have never aroused gratitude to Buddhas and Bodhisattvas or even to everything. It is because we have never felt how happy and lucky we are in fact. As a saying goes, people don’t know how to be blessed. blessing.

We are really blessed, and Amitabha has done so many things for us.Just like our parents, our parents have been worrying about us since we were born!Zhang Luo eats, uses, and wears, desperately earning money for you to go to school, and even marrying your wife and husband in the future, preparing dowry and taking care of everything, but if it is an unfilial child, he will not notice that his parents do it for us. What is it, because I don’t know how to be satisfied, so I’m not happy, and I’m not happy. I don’t know that our parents are so kind to us. I don’t know that so many people care about us, so we don’t know how to be grateful, don’t understand, and don’t understand. .

Because I don’t know how to be grateful, I’m also very troubled. I don’t know how to be happy. I just think about how I am so pitiful. I am so lonely. No one treats me well. In fact, there is, but we didn’t look back and pay attention. Nian only thinks of ourselves, so it is really no good to think of ourselves. Thinking of ourselves has only worries and pains. Looking back and thinking about the people around us, thinking about the things the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have done for us, we will see another world, see I have received a lot of care and saw a lot of other people's contributions to us.

You see, since we were born in the first year, what we eat, use, and wear, which is not the common contribution of all beings, and finally we have what we can use. We need to grow rice for food and rice!right?It's only here that we've been tossing around. Someone needs to weave clothes!We grew up naked, with nothing, so how many people are paying for us in this life!It's not just parents!How many people we know and don’t know are giving for us?We are very happy people!

But because we have never noticed, we will only complain and feel that we are not getting enough, so of course we cannot be grateful, and therefore there is no happiness at all.When we can feel what others have done to us and we are grateful, we will be very content at the moment, contentment is always happy, contentment is always happy.So looking back, it is definitely good to think that others have forgotten themselves. At this time, this real happiness will arise from the heart.
