Good evening everyone! Amitabha!
What we are going to study together tonight is the essence of the "Buddha Sutra".This sutra may be relatively unfamiliar to our fellow practitioners, but this sutra is very important to our fellow practitioners who study the Pure Land Method. "The Buddhist Sutra of Buddhism of Infinite Life" is the theory of the three sutras in our Pure Land Zhengyi classics. The three sutras of the Pure Land specifically explain the theory of rebirth and the method of practice. It is particularly important to explain in this respect.Common initiates are familiar with the "Buddha Speaking of Immeasurable Life" and "Amitabha Sutra".
The "Blessed Life Sutra" is relatively like an introduction to the Pure Land. Generally, it is easy for people of middle and lower roots to learn. Then the "Amitabha Sutra" is the essential core and easy to read and maintain, while the "View of the Infinite Life Sutra" will feel special in the past. It’s difficult, it seems to have to practice vipassana.Because this sutra has another sutra title called "Sixteen Guanjing". Generally, fellow practitioners see from the beginning to the end. It is really easy to think that they are practising insight. Therefore, our fellow practitioners of Jingzong seldom go deep. Learn.
However, through the eyes of our second ancestor Shandao, we pointed out the true practice and the correct core practice. Only then did we understand that the original practice of the "Blessed Life Sutra" is no different from the "Blessed Life Sutra" and "Amitabha Sutra". It's so simple, it's as great as it is, and it's more ultimate.
How to say it more? What we have learned before...We have already understood that the most important thing in the "Blessed Life Sutra" is the eighteenth wish. So tens of thousands of people will go there, we already know this very well.But some fellow practitioners are more careful. He will notice that there are two verses after the eighteenth vow: "Except for the five inverses, slander the Dhamma. 』Since it is said that only the five inverses should be eliminated, slander the law.Doesn’t that mean that those who have committed the five iniquities and slander the Fa-rectification cannot die? It is not true that thousands of people have gone. Careful fellow practitioners may have noticed this; we also have a clear understanding of the great virtues and sutras of the Patriarch As I told us above, the Pure Land Method was originally meant for thousands of people to go there-never miss one.Moreover, Buddha Amitabha's wish is indeed to save sentient beings from the ten directions, so how do we understand these two sentences in this passage?
It turns out that the scriptures in the "Sutra of Buddhism for Immortal Life" can be satisfactorily resolved.The conditions for the rebirth of the lower grades in the "Sutra of Buddhism of Immortal Life" include the five evils and ten evils, even breaking the precepts or slandering the Dhamma. All the sinful beings are included, which is very complete.Therefore, the theories and practices taught in Guanjing are the most ultimate and the most complete.

How do we treat the last two sentences of the eighteenth wish?
Master Shandao gave a very clear explanation in the "Study on the Four Posts of Guanjing".He said that when the Blessed One was teaching the "Blessed Life Sutra", we knew that we had to watch the lectures. At that time, among the people present at the meeting, everyone's good roots were relatively deep and their level was relatively high. These people are evil, so adding these two sentences is to remind everyone to avoid committing these evils.Because it is too simple to live according to the eighteenth aspirations, anyone who truly believes and wishes can die, so he is afraid that you will not uphold the precepts and practice diligently! So he said: "Except for the five rebellions, slander the righteousness." "It is to prevent you from creating these sin karma, with such intentions.
When it comes to "Guanjing", I will tell the truth completely-tell the truth.It’s convenient to tell the truth. Why is this place the most important thing to say? Because when it comes to the "Guan Jing", many of the audience have already created five evils and ten evils. Look at it, including the "Guan Jing". Prince Shi, he is the standard crasher, right? If you talk about this sutra, the crasher is the most sinful one, you tell him, "Except for the five iniquities, slander the righteousness." 』Then there is no need to talk about this sutra.If the audience hears that there is no way to gain benefits, they cannot be reborn, and if this condition is not met, then it is meaningless to say this sutra! So we have to see that at this time there is already such a crime in the audience, and this time it is completely Tell the truth, because this method was originally intended to save sentient beings in the ten worlds, especially for these sinful ordinary people.
In this theory, we have clearly felt the heart of Amitabha Buddha in the order of the first wish and the second wish of the first forty-eight wishes. From this perspective, the theory and method of the three sutras are completely complete. The objects to be saved are completely consistent.Including dharma cultivation is not as difficult as cultivating the Sixteen Views. It is also the core practice of recitation of Buddha.The Blessed One’s part in the circulation section is obviously and very straightforward. I have said all the scriptures in the previous section. Finally, I must explain that Venerable Ananda must be well maintained. This sutra should also be circulated well and placed in the circulation section. Has this effect.How did the Blessed One explain to Ananda, He said: "If you hold true words, those who hold true words means holding the name of the Buddha of immeasurable life. 』You are good to hold the language, this "is language" language, that is, the Blessed One who spoke this sutra in front of us, and the content of the whole sutra you accept and hold this sutra well, then how do you receive and hold this sutra?
Those who hold the word, hold the name of the Buddha of immeasurable life.It's just to recite the Buddha by name! This is the real "Guan Sutra" practice.

But there are so many contents in the whole sutra, and the real practice is only one sentence. Who would have noticed? Everyone must see the first sixteen views, and then they must honestly observe the sun and water slowly.This is what Master Shandao taught us. Why is this situation?
Through the scriptures and the annotations of the "Four Tie Shu" by Master Shandao these two days, we can clearly grasp it.This "Guan Jing" really needs to speak at our speed. It may be at least one month per day, but we will use two days to explain the essentials.Because modern people are very busy and time is precious, it is very rare to have time to listen to the scriptures.If you want everyone to listen to it every day for a month, I am afraid that the audience will become less and less, and in the end there will be no photographer alone.In the hope of helping you master the most important practice of this book in the shortest time, it can help us to increase our confidence in rebirth, and to have a deeper and more complete grasp of the theory and practice of the Pure Land Method.So try to capture the key points as much as possible, and hope that we can have a complete grasp in two days.

King Achai was originally very kind, because he was instigated by Devadado and made bad friends.This Deva Dado was the one who tried to kill the Buddha three times and again. He was a manifestation of the great devil and the villain. He likes to fight for power, so he went to show his supernatural powers and let King Ashiya treat him respectfully.So he instigated him: ``You simply kill your father earlier, you ascend to the throne earlier, the two of us can cooperate and be a good partner, you are the king, and I am the Buddha!'' Yeah, this wishful thinking is very good, otherwise, King Achai would have been very kind, sooner or later this throne will also be his, he does not need to do this, his only prince, prince! He has made bad friends, Because he showed his supernatural powers, King Achai worshiped him very much, thinking that he had cultivated very well, and this was his cause and fate.Later, I listened to Devadado’s words, and of course I also told him a section of his past life, a period of evil karma between him and his father, which caused him to hate his father. We will not talk about this section. Talking is too far.
So King Ashiya put his father under house arrest and wanted to starve him to death. Mrs. Wetich is his wife, of course, she would try to save him, so he washed his body and rubbed some powder made of wheat flour. The women were rubbing a thick layer of pressed powder, treating it as wheat flour and rubbing it all over, then put some honey in her earrings, necklaces...hide some food and bring them in for him to eat.So after some time, the prince felt strange...Why was he still alive, so he asked his gatekeeper. The gatekeeper said that Mrs. Vettihi often came in to visit him, and also secretly brought him something to eat.Not only did the king not die, but his spirit was getting better and better. Because there were disciples from the World-Honored One who came from the sky to tell him, he was very happy physically and mentally. Although he was under house arrest, his complexion became more and more like practicing retreat inside. Great.
King Achai was very angry when he heard it. I waited outside every day until he starved to death and was about to collect his body.I waited so long and didn’t die. The more I waited, the more impatient I got. At this time, I heard this, wow, venting all my anger on his mother, and even the mother was going to kill him.At this time, the ministers around him, Yueguang and Qipo, couldn't help but want to come forward to stop him. They said: ``Since ancient times, I have heard of people who want to kill the father and the king for usurping the throne, and have never heard of people who want to kill their own mother. This is against humanity." They can't watch him kill his mother like this. If he really wants to kill his mother, these ministers will leave him.At this time, there was no other way for King Aya to agree to their persuasion, but put his mother under house arrest.
Everyone can imagine...If this happened to us today, let alone our family having a coup d'etat, it is just our ordinary family. Your own children are going to kill their parents...Wow...Wow, why are you so embarrassed! At that time, Mrs. Wetich's mood... was very painful, and she didn't want to stay in this world for a moment.Everyone, please pay attention, she is the crasher of "Guanjing". This kind of willingness to give birth to the Dharma is for us-true faith and eagerness! The attitude of the most complete and standard Buddhist practitioner is to be like She doesn't want to stay like this for a moment, so she will die.To have this kind of eagerness, this is the true desire for rebirth. If we have not reached this level, we must rush to cultivate it, and we must cultivate it every day.
Don’t wait for Amitabha to come, and discuss with him for a few days. Anyway, Amitabha is always on call. No matter how you trouble him, he will come.But I'm afraid that in case we are not careful, we will go straight to hell with a thought of aversion, then it will be troublesome! So it is better to leave as soon as Amitabha comes. Vettihi, who is under house arrest, is very painful and painful... Satisfy the Blessed One who was speaking in the Jiechai Mountain, and ask the Blessed One to send the Big Eye Qianlian and Ananda to tell her, because the Blessed One has magical powers, and these big disciples all have magical powers, and the Blessed One immediately brings the Big Eyed Qianlian and Ananda came from the sky and flew to the palace where she was under house arrest to explain to her.

(Four) The Blessed One's Method
When Mrs. Vettihi saw the Blessed One, she knelt to the ground, and asked the Blessed One to teach her a worry-free place, that is, a place where there is no pain at all, and she wanted to be born there.She didn’t want to stay in this bad world for a moment, so she complained to him for a long time...just like what the women are suffering...Seeing Master, oh, what about me, what about me...I don’t want to live anymore...I Can you be a monk? Never, if you want to be a monk in this way, then you can’t! It’s okay to complain. It’s a family business to be a monk, and you have to take greater responsibility. If you cry like this, go to the Sangha Come on, the believers come to you... You two are crying together!
So of course, the Blessed One also understood that the cause for her becoming a Buddha had arrived, and immediately filled her wish to explain to her, using magical powers on the spot to show her ten pure Buddhist temples for her to choose.But when it turned out that she was deliberately letting her choose the ten directions for herself, he had special blessings to make the light of Elysium special, that is to say, he deliberately asked her, Mrs. Vettich, to choose Elysium.With this special blessing, she deliberately asked her to choose herself.Later, Mrs. Vettich really chose the Elysium, hoping to be reborn in the Elysium. The Blessed One was very satisfied, even if she smiled (oh! It's just what I want. , In the count!).
At that time, Mrs. Wetich saw it. After she chose Elysium, she said: "I only wish the Buddha to teach me to observe the pure karma." That is to say, I have already made a vow and chose to go to Elysium. The next step is to request. The Blessed One taught me to observe the pure karma, how to be able to rebirth to the blissful world; she said: "Although all the buddhas are clean and there will be light, I live in the blissful world Amitabha, I hope the Blessed one teaches me to think and teach I am suffering.”
Please pay attention to everyone. Why the Blessed One had to speak the Sixteen Vipassana Sutra first? It was because she followed Mrs. Vettihi’s petition. She said, “Teach me to think, and to teach me to be right.” Thinking and receiving righteously is practising insight, because at the time People don't even know that there is a pure land method and chanting Buddha in a name.By reciting the Buddha, you can live in the world of bliss and become a Buddha. This is her first time. The Blessed One has shown the world of bliss for her to choose. So their general practice is: keeping the precepts, cultivating concentration, generating wisdom, and relying on self-reliance.So she said: "Teach me to think, teach me to feel right." The Blessed One first fulfilled her wish, first talked about the Three Blessings of Pure Karma, and then the Sixteen Buddhist Scriptures, and finally confessed Ananda to them during the distribution. The crasher said: "You are good at holding it." You have to hold it well. The way to really hold it is to hold the "Buddha name of immeasurable life."It's not practising the previous observation method!

The three blessings of pure karma basically start from the basics, that is, you have to be blessed, and only then can you have good roots, merits, and causes and conditions. Through her cause and condition, what can we enlighten?
We can now see many countries, whether it is an advanced country, our Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, the mainland...especially Western countries, the faster the development of the country...the more serious the family problem.In this five turbid world, what we have seen and said in the scriptures...we can see very clearly, can we solve these phenomena? To be honest, there is no way to solve them completely, but the situation will only get worse and worse. serious.Of course we have to do, we must do our best, and try our best to solve it, but in fact, at most, this bad development can be delayed, and the seriousness of it can be delayed, but you really want to restore...return to a kind of family health, People's moral standards can be continuously improved, and such a direction is probably impossible.
It can also be said that it is impossible, because we have also seen in the scriptures that Shakyamuni’s Dharma transported for XNUMX years, and now is the end of the Dharma period, so all sentient beings in the future have made it clear that the karma is getting heavier and heavier. …So we have seen this phenomenon, including our current family problems, it is indeed very serious, society and schools are very serious.Therefore, we should be able to be vigilant. The only way to solve this problem is to find a complete solution. Immigrate to Elysium. How can you do environmental protection in our five-turbid and evil world...how to save people’s hearts? Useless.
But you still have to work hard, because you can delay this kind of damage and minimize the damage. The way to really solve it is to make a wish as soon as possible...Go to the Paradise of Life.There is pure happiness and no suffering...every day living in this state of bliss, we have to learn from Mrs. Vettich! She is acting for us, not watching a show... She is actually acting for us; it is our society Phenomenon, our country and society are so chaotic. Now politics is also very... the so-called politics is a high-level deception... This sentence seems to be widely spread... The political methods are very dark, so our monks do not participate in politics.The society is chaotic, and the family is not really in a healthy state so that we can feel relieved.Almost every family has hard-to-read scriptures. It is true that we have to be vigilant, and only like Mrs. Vettich-the heart to live, can we completely solve these problems.

But what are we going to do right now? If we really know how to make a living, people who want to die, then the whole life will have to be adjusted drastically... First of all, children.Alas, we really can't bear to see again, the mother threw the child to the nanny for an extra salary.It is said that two salaries are enough. If your two salaries are not one to be given to the nanny, how much can you save? But you invisibly lose the affection with your child, and the quality of your child’s usual life education, everything is After learning from a nanny, he will actually be like a nanny and not like a parent when he grows up.Unlike your parents, the price she paid was too great, so if you have another salary deducted from the nanny, you will have a little more money left...is it worth it? Is it worth saving the affection between you and your children? ?
It’s the same with people, including family relationships. Only when people get along can they have feelings, and they need to be cultivated! So you really see through this world-the five turbid and evil worlds, people who really wish to live; first of all, the wife must hurry up If you go home, you should discuss with your husband to change your husband back to be the housekeeper. Anyway, you have to take care of the house by yourself.Traditionally speaking, the male is in charge of the outside and the female is in charge. The person in the master is the biggest, and his responsibility is the most important. The person outside the master is only responsible for making money, and the person within the master is responsible for educating and educating the next generation.
If it’s a wife... it means that the husband must also teach her sons. She can influence her husband and the next generation. She has the greatest influence. You have the greatest merit, and the greatest blessing is also the greatest, so it really counts as salary. Ah, this mother's salary is twice that of a nanny.Then although you did not receive the money, this is your accumulated blessing and virtue.Really smart people must hurry home and earn this double salary. If your husband has money, you can also get cash from him. If you don't have money, you can't force him to take it out... accumulate yin virtue.This is what you really pay for your family, you really do what you want to do, and do your duty, this is the role of a wife! Your own duty has not been fulfilled... Then you are creating karma, so what should you do? do it.
Then you said that life is very stressful, and it doesn’t matter if you move to the country. You said that you can’t see you every day with your husband. Why do you want to see you every day?Really, you go try it, I suggest you this, I want to recite the cause and effect, but this is really good for everyone, on the one hand, it saves money, on the one hand, you can live a simple life, on the other hand, it can improve your family. harmonious.
First of all, you must start by reducing the chance of quarreling, and then you can really live in peace and do your homework with the children.Morning and evening classes will even have more time for you. Don’t go to tuition, go to the country, and have more time to teach yourself and teach children to recite the sutras. It will be enough for the schoolwork to pass.From elementary school, junior high school, high school...all the same pass, because we usually persuade you for a long time, you don’t know how to make sense of it, so I have to talk about it directly.I don't like to care about you, and I'll give you your reference when I say it, but everyone's situation is different, so you can make your own decisions.

In principle, it means that a substantial adjustment must be made to live a life of simple monasticism. What really needs to be learned is moral education, which is to improve the life of the soul. Only in this way can we really go further and improve the relationship between family members and the family. The problem can be completely resolved.
If you continue to do this...for a double salary...you will always feel that the money is not enough. Later, the child will grow up and become more rebellious, and the extra money you have made will not be enough to finish it off with him.If he causes a lot of misfortunes, you still have to deal with him... It's endless, a vicious circle, and the whole family is marching into the abyss of pain! That direction is wrong, if a salary is passed, then Of course you can stay together as a family! But you have to become more and more frugal. You need to save some money and time. On the one hand, you need to work hard to cultivate wisdom, on the other hand, to cultivate the Three Jewels, and to cultivate true merit. Kindness, you don't plant this cause... You don't have blessings, it is difficult for you to get close to kind knowledge, and it is difficult for you to have a good cause for studying the Fa.If you just close the door and work behind closed doors, you will make mistakes when you read the scriptures.
So to cultivate good fortune, the biggest blessing is of course the Three Treasures. I'm not saying that the old king sells melons-sells melons and brags, because I really think that is the case, so I will devote myself to the Three Treasures-Xiu Fu Xiuhui , Of course I will introduce the best to you.The world’s good dharma can also be done. We have to have a broad mind-rejoicing in merit, light and heavy, and deep and shallow. These are all different causes and conditions.The world’s good dharma, just do it according to the conditions, the main thing is to cultivate blessings and wisdom in Buddhism, and make such adjustments.If you haven't made such adjustments, then no matter how much money you have, you won't be able to use it! You've been spending all these five desires and six dusts in the world, creating reincarnation karma all the time.
So to really see through the evils in this world, you have to make drastic adjustments, and you can be saved! Only your family can be saved! Hurry up to the countryside and look for a good environment that can help us cultivate and help us Educate children.Well, if we are now facing a very crisis of marriage and family status, and there is no way to negotiate mutual coordination, then it doesn’t matter. As we said before, if the other half must be separated...then let it be separated! Cultivation is important. ! If you can cultivate together, that’s the best! Don’t make a noise all day... or even commit suicide in the end... keep doing karma, that’s not good.As long as we are on the road...Even if we get divorced, it doesn’t matter, but we should not take the initiative, let the other party do you, and the most important thing is that the other party proposes. Don’t be attached to yourself, if you can’t let go, then what can you do to find hardship? .Follow the other party's request. If the other party didn't mention it, we shouldn't mention it, and do our part well. That is to follow the fate. Follow the fate to be free.
If the other party wants to mention divorce, it just happens to be practicing. It's not what we mentioned. If we don't mention it, and there is room for coordination between the two parties, then we should cultivate together.If you really go on the road together, the relationship between the two will get better and better. Don’t think about it, because the feelings are entangled over there, and there is no way to improve each other on the road, then you will always be trapped in that state. , Is very pitiful.This is the cause and fate through which Mrs. Wetich prayed. Let us be vigilant, and we must improve it from the family.

But we have to make it clear that there are many people here who are confused, thinking that they must be done before they can die. This passage says: "These three things are called pure karma. "The Buddha told Wei Tixi: "Do you know this now?"These three kinds of karma are the pure karma of the past, future, present, and three generations of Buddhas. 』Jing Kamma-Purifying karma, the positive cause of pure karma is not the positive cause of rebirth, you have to figure it out! If you practice on your own, you must continue to complete it from this foundation. This is the method of self-reliance, of course you can. Use these three blessings to complete it, but this is not the standard for rebirth, so we must first clarify this concept.
One hundred percent of our rebirth was achieved by Amitabha’s forty-eight aspirations.Then the method of rebirth is to follow the conditions of faith and vows stated in the eighteen vows.Master Huiyi mentioned a section in the explanation. Yes.But don’t you think of it as a meritorious dedication? These three blessings are nothing more than blessings, how can they be regarded as merits for rebirth? Many ancestors have not seen it, only In modern times, Master Yinguang saw the most complete, and Master Lianchi also saw it, so Master Huiyi’s pure land thoughts are also very similar to him, very close.Master Lianchi and Master Yinguang both clearly respect Master Shandao as "Monk Shandao" and worship him as a teacher, and respect him as a pro-teacher! So this thought is the purest, and it can be said that it has been until Master Shandao has collected great achievements. Modern Master Yinguang also had exactly the same thoughts as his. This is a brief introduction.

He has an explanation.He said that the contents of the four posts of this sutra have been proved by the Buddhas of the ten directions and are confirmed to be correct, so no one sentence or one word can be added or subtracted.If you want to have writers...that is, if someone wants to transcribe, and to relay, it must be the same as the Scriptures, and there can be no changes.He has made such a special statement, so why does he say this? Then when doing this four-fold scribbling, he first made a wish in front of the Buddha and asked for spiritual blessings, because he himself has samādhi chanting, he is very easy to follow the Buddha, and he enters and exits at any time when he comes to the world of bliss. The kitchen is also very comfortable.Let us not imagine that we have been begging for a long time, and there is no reaction, then it is not counted! He is a begging, and he saw the holy realm that night, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are present, and every night since then, in the dream, there is a monk. The monks came to teach him and instruct him on how to write this four-post scribble, assist him in completing it, and instruct him on Xuanyi.
Then when his writing reached Consummation, he again prayed in front of the Buddha, and he showed up in the holy realm for three consecutive nights, and all the Buddhas showed a very special scene.So from then on, people in later generations have called this succinct name—it was taught by Amitabha himself.It is also said that this scribbling is the scribbling of the ancient and the present, and it is cherished as the sutra, then the master of Shandao is honored as the master of the ancient and the present.

I also feel very confident that it is this book. Why? Because it must be guided by the good, and only the practice of guiding the mind by the good is the easiest. At the end of the Dharma, the human roots are getting worse and worse, and he only has the master of good guidance. The teaching method has a way to work.Because after this one has survived the world for a hundred years and the last one is destroyed, there is still this Buddha's name that can save people.Then the sentient beings at that time could have a way to practice Kungfu with you? Since they practice Kungfu with two strengths...no.Only rely on this Buddha's name!
That's what Master Shandao said: "Whoever speaks "Nanwu" is the righteousness of returning to fate and vows, and whoever speaks to Amitabha is his deeds, and because of his righteousness, he will be reborn." It is the six-character Hongming name alone. It contains the three foods of rebirth, which is full of all virtues. As long as those who hear this Buddha's name, there is still a way to be reborn in the world of bliss.
So we also think it is reasonable to say this. The old monk is confident that it is this one, and the thoughts of good guidance are handed down.Then we don’t have to learn so hard now, we can start to recite the Buddha well if we grasp the key points! And not only do we have confidence in going to rebirth, we can also make a wish, like me, to sit and die, and it’s best to be able to I don’t know the time comes when I’m sick, I believe it’s relatively fine.If you don’t get sick, I dare not say XNUMX%, but towards this goal, you can also vowed to stand and die! Many old Bodhisattvas are standing, and walking...walking to die! Then I think standing too much When I'm tired, I'll just sit down. Sitting cross-legged is more solemn, so I can make this wish.I ask you to make a vow if you can do it, but it's useless if you make a false wish if you can't!
Now we can all die, but now we can be sure because we rely on the Buddha.It depends on whether you believe it or not. It’s as simple as whether you want to go or not! After eight thousand years of the Fa fortune, you can die even by hearing this Buddha name, not to mention our sin karma is not that serious now, do you have confidence? If you don’t have faith , That's because your root cause is not enough.You can slowly cultivate the three blessings of pure karma, and slowly cultivate your good roots, otherwise, what should you do? I can't force you! If you can force you, Amitabha Buddha is the most merciful, all using magical powers, each It would be nice to bring you all to the Paradise of Bliss, if he could do that, he would definitely be willing.
Therefore, we need to understand the origin of this "Si Tie Shu". Regarding Master Shandao's different teachings from other ancestors, we must develop a XNUMX% trust and acceptance, and if we learn from it as a sutra, we should not have the slightest suspicion.Why is it different from what other ancestors said? Who is right? Of course it is Master Shandao's right! The old monk is also according to him now!

The Taizong refers to the Tiantai School, the Taoist Sutras and the Miao Zongchao. These are all practitioners of the Tiantai Sect. The Taoist Sutras written by the ancestors of the Tiantai Sect, and the Miao Zongchao, the truth is mellow, and they are very good and the truth is very good. Gao Miao, but the middle and lower roots can't understand it, and there is no way to hold it.Therefore, there is no such thing as the four-fold sluice that can be used for three roots, which is beneficial to the benefit of the dull. The Master Shandao did not tell him much, he directly showed his magical powers. He Said: ``In the quasi-sutras, the Blessed One said that reciting the Buddha and one method will give birth to the pure land, seven days a day, one reciting ten Amitabha Buddha, the pure rebirth of the pure land. This meditation of the Buddha's Dharma is empty, does not produce pure land, deceives all beings, that is, send the good guide on this high seat, that is, fall into the hell, suffer for a long time, and never go out." Venerable Vajra thinks that reciting the Buddha cannot be reborn, so he told him the method of reciting Buddhism taught by the Blessed One. If he cannot recite the name of Amitabha Buddha in seven days a day and ten meditations, if the teaching is true and not deceiving sentient beings, then let this The two statues in the lecture hall are always bright. The two statues are the statues of Buddha Amitabha and Buddha Shakyamuni; if this method of chanting is false and deceives sentient beings, then let me be a good guide to be on this throne right now and fall directly to it. At the moment, the butcher with the surname Jing returned to his heart, and then asked him if he could really die? It is really possible to recite the Buddha. Rebirth? Master Shandao confirmed with him. After listening, he walked out of the gate of the temple and climbed the tree, jumped off on the spot... and died.Departing... the public sees many Buddhas, who lead Tiantong to come out from the top door. They let go of all conditions, practiced diligently, and chanted the Buddhist scriptures so diligently, so now they have to recite the samādhi of Buddha and die. The pure land is unknowable.That's why his Dharma Destiny is very special!

Because it is relying on self-reliance, I have not received the blessing of the Buddha at all, and I don’t know how to interact with the Buddha.
But once through the guidance of Master Shandao, when we really know how to interact with Buddha Amitabha, how can our power compare with Buddha Li? The blessing power at the moment is very great, and I myself have undergone a big change. Don't like to recite Buddha.I like to read very much now, and then I will naturally like to read...Naturally, my learning standards will be improved even more, so I dare to say that I hope to sit and die, or even die without illness.
I didn’t dare to say that I had confidence in my death before. I can’t say this casually! I have also talked about Yuantongzhang before, and I have also recorded it. At most, I said that Kungfu is okay to be a film... I dare to say whether it’s a big or small film It’s okay to say it because I think it’s possible that I seem to have tasted it myself, so I dared to say it.I have never said this in the past twelve years, so the blessing power goes directly to the heart.
Through these historical records, the achievement of so many people that they have studied has indeed confirmed the touch of our hearts, and we are more confident that we can also get such extraordinary benefits, as long as there is a cause and we really get Letting go of the heart and all destiny, and then let the environment make us stop talking and chanting Buddha from morning to night. We need to be physically active, do more things, use less brains, and be peaceful and happy... Stop pursuing the rich and wealthy! If we go out in this area, every household is chanting Buddha...Wow...It's really a bit like the atmosphere of the paradise, most of them are chanting Amitabha...it's hard to imagine! The way Amitabha Buddha really wants to save sentient beings is to follow the eighteenth vows, not to follow other vows, that is just a convenient way to fit the sentient beings with other foundations, and there is no way to send it. The true original aspiration is the eighteenth. Hope. And only Master Shandao can point it out."

Don’t cling to this quantity, focus Yes---Take advantage of my willingness. If you don't live, you don't get enlightenment, it's entirely on the power of Buddha! Just call me by name.This is the interpretation of the eighteenth vow explained by Master Shandao in the concept method, so it is very clear. Therefore, the greatest merit of Master Shandao is to extract the core practice of the Pure Land Method-the eighteenth vow.
