But there are also many people who are paranoid in their practice and fail to see Master Yinshun's original intentions clearly. They believe that bodhisattva behavior should be implemented in the human world, and Buddhahood should be realized in the human world, so it must deny the existence of gods and bodhisattvas and other countries. The authenticity of becoming a Buddha has caused confrontations and disputes among fellow practitioners of various sects in the religious circles. This has already deviated from the original intention of Teacher Yinshun to benefit the general public in the current society.For example, the most prosperous Pure Land method in Buddhism today, this is what the Buddha Shakyamuni declared and advocated by the patriarchs of all dynasties. Is relying on one's own efforts to practice the Bodhisattva's way in the real world?This is obviously a paranoia that gets in the way of the law.In fact, if you see the truth clearly, no matter what kind of Dharma you study and what form you practice in, the essence and goal are the same, but all living beings have different roots, and the Dharma that they can adapt to is bound to be different. It's just a difference.For example, those who practice the Pure Land Dharma, do they need to practice the Bodhisattva Way before now?Of course, as Master Yinguang advocated: "We must do our best in Dunlun, and be sincere. We must do what others can't do, and be patient with what others can't bear. We must work on behalf of others, and be beautiful as an adult." These are not all the virtues of bodhisattvas. Do you mind?In order to become a Buddha, Amitabha had a great vow and convenience. In order to save all sentient beings from the upper, middle and lower roots, he could quickly become a Buddha. Therefore, with forty-eight great vows, he practiced countless kalpas for all sentient beings, and achieved a simple, easy, and quick way to become a Buddha. .As long as the name is recited, the faith and vows are fulfilled, and the power of the vows fulfilled by him can be matched, and in this life, he will be guided by him to be reborn in the land of bliss, and once he is reborn, he will realize the three indomitable ones, and feel like Avalokitesvara, Manjushri. The realm that Samantabhadra has verified until he becomes a Buddha, which shows that he can become a Buddha in other places. Buddhahood is not only in the human world, and becoming a Buddha in other places does not prevent it from becoming a Buddha in the human world. A bodhisattva, can he also follow his wishes at will, steer the boat of mercy backwards, and then go to the ten directions and even the human world to show the ready-made Buddha?Therefore, there is no need to be paranoid about a theory of right or wrong, as long as you practice according to your personal nature, will, force, and karma, it will be excellent.

To become a Buddha in the human world, from the perspective of the bittersweet environment, the merits and virtues of becoming a Buddha are easy to achieve.But to be like the Buddha Shakyamuni in one lifetime, and like the sixth patriarch Hui Neng to become enlightened in one lifetime, it must have accumulated enough bodhisattva way resources over the past few kalpas to be able to manifest this.In other words, if your accumulated resources are not enough, you will have to cultivate for countless kalpas, keep returning to the human world to practice the Bodhisattva Way by yourself, and you will also advance, retreat, and delusion. Moreover, the merits and virtues of becoming a Buddha born in this world do not know that one must cultivate until the year of the ox, the year of the horse, and the month of the horse.If you can also combine the special method taught by the Buddha Shakyamuni, and also accept the strong blessing of Amitabha Buddha, when you are dying, you will first make a vow to go to the Land of Ultimate Bliss to go around. Before the enlightenment, there is no confusion over the yin, and the merits and virtues that you have cultivated will not be reversed. The moment the flower blooms and sees the Buddha, you can immediately return to Saha, and continue to accumulate the bodhisattva path in the human world happily.This is just like accepting a lot of assets from your parents, so that you have more sufficient conditions to start a business. This is determined to be a powerful ideal for people with upper, middle and lower roots, and it is not only for those with weak roots. , Because there is no way to go, we need to rely on Amitabha to survive in the West. In fact, this is a very pragmatic and great benefit, and at the same time, it does not prevent people from practicing the Bodhisattva Way by themselves in the human world, and even becoming a Buddha in the human world in the future. Those who are truly wise People should be able to weigh the pros and cons of this.

People who recite Buddhahood and seek rebirth in the West must also practice the Bodhisattva Way in the human world. It’s not that people who recite Buddhahood just need to recite the Buddha Way. What kind of Bodhisattva way does the human world want to practice?This must be clarified.Of course, the Dharma is unobstructed, and no Dharma is not the perfect manifestation of Buddha-nature, so sentient beings can act according to each person’s karma, whether it be charity, environmental protection, teaching and leading people, or reciting the Buddha’s Dharma… all are accumulating individuals. The bodhisattva becomes a Buddha.But even though it is said that there is no duality in the dharma of the world, and the Buddhadharma is inseparable from the dharma of the world, and the form is one and the same, but for any dharma practiced in the human world, is there really a spirit of transcendence in the heart? And so on, it is not Buddhism, but it belongs to the karma of the six realms of reincarnation. It is very important to clarify this aspect. Otherwise, you will be called a Buddha disciple and try to practice the Bodhisattva way in the world. If you feel the retribution of ascending to heaven, you will still not be able to transcend the Three Realms, or you will always sink into the Six Realms and follow the Bodhisattva Way. In this way, you will lose the real meaning of cultivating the Buddhadharma.Therefore, those who wish to rely on their own self-reliance to practice the Bodhisattva way in the human world and accumulate the resources to become a Buddha must master a principle, and that is the standard taught by Master Taixu.Master Taixu mentioned in his XNUMX book The Theory of Real Reality That Human Beings Become Buddha , the end is in the personality, when a person becomes a Buddha, it is called true reality." The "people who complete a Buddha and become a Buddha" mentioned in this passage does not mean that one can become a Buddha by meeting the standards of the worldly people, but in the Under the standard of human morality in the world, one must also reach the standard of "roundness" of human beings. Only then can one become a Buddha! In the final analysis, the deep meaning of "circle" refers to enlightenment. What enlightenment is enlightenment?Realizing that "all actions are impermanent, all dharmas are without self, peaceful and nirvana", we must practice all human bodhisattva actions according to the understanding of Dependent Origination and emptiness, and we must follow what Yinshun teacher mentioned: "Mahayana Bodhicitta, great compassion, and emptiness view". Three hearts to practice, this is the Dharma, and the accumulated bodhisattva virtues and virtues can be expected to become the resources for becoming a Buddha in the future.

Therefore, the so-called "human achievement is the Buddha's achievement." The standard of "human achievement" ultimately refers to enlightenment, not just the standard of good people in the world.If you think that you only need to cultivate the worldly personality well, and do the worldly charity work, you will be able to become a Buddha, and you will no longer need to diligently cultivate precepts, concentration and wisdom according to Buddhist scriptures.If the human being is not perfect, then the Buddha will definitely not become a Buddha. In the future, even if he reincarnates in the human world to do charity in the world, he will still be an ordinary person in life and death.Although it is said that the Buddhadharma is inseparable from the worldly law, one must first go deep into the scriptures and Tibetans, and after mastering the nature of the Buddhadharma, then integrate it into all the pretense of walking, standing, sitting, lying, and gestures in the world. All of them are captured by the Buddhadharma. If there is no Buddhadharma, the transcendent nature, the emptiness of dependent origination is realized in it, and all the good deeds are still samsara karma and have nothing to do with the Buddhadharma. This part of the discrimination is very important. important.

As a Buddhist disciple who is also a member of the society, it is indeed necessary to fulfill social responsibilities well, but as a Buddhist disciple, at the same time, you should also do your duty first, practice Buddhist deeds widely, and make a major contribution to stabilizing the minds of society. The Buddha's mind and Buddha's actions follow the conditions to save and transform all sentient beings in the nine Dharma realms, whether they are in the heavens, ghosts, or even human beings, so that they can become Buddhas. This is the most complete human bodhisattva practice as a Buddhist disciple.As a human being, you should focus on saving all beings in the human world. This is also correct, but you don’t have to be paranoid about it, and ignore the saving of other sentient beings. You should follow the circumstances and practice the Buddha’s deeds widely and spread all kinds of things in the ten directions. Only those sentient beings who have the ability to save lives can meet the Buddha's original intention of saving life.
