Introduction

"Buddhist Scenery - Telling the Truth" - The road to cultivation after enlightenment. Although this book is my own writing work, I still follow the teachings of my predecessors in terms of ideological and teaching methods, and there is no personal originality. To share what I have seen and heard after my personal experience is really not an innovative work. If there is any merit, it should be a sincere and equal support for the grievances and the general order for everyone to benefit from the law. The Buddhist scenery worth mentioning on the road I have traveled is shared with my colleagues, and I also kindly put forward some dangerous areas that should be paid attention to on the road. I believe it can still help the destined fellow participants to avoid passing through some when they are on the road. The twists and turns of the road can even lead the practitioners with deep knowledge to realize the self-nature at the moment, which is of great benefit.

When the outline of this book was first drafted, many monks and fellow practitioners have been invited to give their opinions. I am very grateful for your support and suggestions. From everyone's reactions, readers are very impressed with this book. Profound, can lead to infinite thinking and practical use, no matter what the future of circulation will be, I deeply feel that my time is running out at this moment, and impermanence is always with me, and there is no room for negotiation. There are many beginners and old practitioners who are still lost in the Buddhist sect that seems to be prosperous but is actually the end of the Dharma. If we can provide clear guidance for these kind-hearted seekers as soon as possible to write an in-depth, simple, and concrete example of the cultivation map, it will help the practitioners. To greatly enhance their immunity, to avoid losing the Taoist mind in this chaotic environment in time, and to miss the once-in-a-century chance of success in person, I personally have even slightly fulfilled my duty as a monk. Moreover, at this time, I have manifested this wish in the pure mind of Buddha recitation blessed by Buddha power. If I cannot follow the conditions and try my best to eliminate all difficulties to complete it, I will surely regret it for the rest of my life. Therefore, I must be loyal to my inner voice and intuition, and not be afraid of the future. Fang praised and criticized, even if the road of spreading the Dharma in the future is still difficult to walk step by step, I believe that as long as one's heart is only good-hearted, do one's best, not for merit, but for less mistakes, according to the ideological teachings of the Buddha's words and ancestors, To be a witness spokesperson for dissemination, to guide practitioners not to deviate from the right path, and even to be able to cultivate from their own nature until they achieve the supreme Buddhist path, I myself will be perfect.

In the first chapter at the beginning of this book, "Talking about Buddhism Gossip" The so-called "talking about Buddhism and gossip" is just unintentional talk, talking without talking. It is not like Wei Jinxuan talking about the style of debate. Those who are wise can smile and understand, those who have doubts can suddenly open up, and those who are suffering can gain sustenance from their hearts, and stay away from all suffering forever.Of course, this title immediately attracted a lot of attention, because what it talks about is related to the housework in the Sangha. After the book is published, it will inevitably get polarized reactions from different positions. Most monks who are accustomed to acting in a low-key manner also rarely see similar writings published. Only I, a freelancer who lives up to the name with no party and no sect, and who has long since shed the burden of secular relationships, can have such a position and opportunity. to do this.

In addition, because I have already deeply understood the truth of the Buddha's inability to save people who have no predestined relationship, like the old mother of Chengdong, if there is no salvation of Shariputra, the Buddha who is full of wisdom and virtue will still have no way to take her, so in order to let these have a fate with me in previous lives If all sentient beings with mature roots will be able to hear the Buddha's Dharma sound as soon as possible, I should have no hesitation, not avoid the suspicion of Li Xia in the melon field, and leave some thoughts to share with the public indiscriminately.Writing this book is indeed the most difficult test I have faced as a deacon in the more than ten years of teaching at home and abroad, because my purpose is to use the real events in Buddhism to arouse the four disciples to face the family affairs of Buddhism with clear eyes and conscience. At the same time, it also records some modern Buddhist scenery through actual events, which can then trigger the watchers to reflect on their own and their functions of upward ascension, but to be honest, such a style will still make some old-fashioned people who are accustomed to packaging after all. It's easy to feel overwhelmed at first, so you have to be very careful in choosing words and expressions to take into account the appropriateness of harmony.Fortunately, judging from the happy and anticipatory responses of the ordinary practitioners of the Fa, I have enough confidence to believe that the publication of this book will definitely bring great benefits to many people, as long as the predestined sentient beings can really benefit from the Fa and leave. No matter how all parties react to my comments, I will be happy with it, and it can be regarded as benevolence and benevolence.

The "Current Situation of the Buddhist Community at Home and Abroad" mentioned in Chapter XNUMX, in this chapter, through my own experiences and events in promoting the Dharma at home and abroad for many years, I specifically mention the current situation of the development of the Buddhist Sangha, especially Focusing on the current situation of the traditional Chinese jungle and the precepts of the Sangha, first of all, it can help beginners to know how to choose a Dharma dojo that suits their fundamental aspirations, and avoid going into the dead end of the evil way.Secondly, it also helps the old cultivators to further expand their horizons and see the truth in the Buddhist environment they are currently living in.In addition, this chapter also discusses the ideological development of the modern Pure Land method in depth, which is a very important and personal issue for the pure land practitioners who have the most extensive cameras in modern times in China.

The theme discussed in Chapter XNUMX: "The Realm of Liberation in Humanistic Buddhism", in the text first of all distinguish the difference between practicing the worldly good Dharma unrelated to Buddhism in the world as a Buddhist disciple, and practicing Buddhism in the human world according to the supernatural Buddhist Dharma. , and then guide you on how to use the Buddha Dharma to achieve the highest level of liberation in your current life.In addition, based on my personal practice process and how to gradually enter into a state of free liberation, I will provide fellow practitioners with a specific reference example in their practice.

Chapter XNUMX: "How to Identify True Cultivation and False Cultivation". Generally speaking, it is quite difficult for ordinary people to distinguish the true and false of a thing, let alone to distinguish a cultivation state that should be above us This is not feasible at all logically, but this matter is very important. If one accidentally follows the evil master and cultivates the evil law, he may suffer eternal suffering, so learn Discrimination is a very important thing. So how to identify it?Fundamentally speaking, it is to rely on the intuition of one's own heart, which is the root of goodness in Buddhism. People with strong roots of goodness will naturally correspond to the magnetic field of the great good teacher. People with weak roots of goodness usually can only follow the pull of karma. Corresponding to people of the same kind, the situation is getting worse, so the next step is to resort to external inspection methods as objective indicators. In the past two decades, I have been fortunate to be close to several contemporary eminent monks and masters to study in the past, in order of closeness: such as the Australian Jingzong Institute.netunderEmpty old monk, Lantau Island, Hong KongHolyunderAn old monk, Zhengjue Jingshe, Puli, TaiwanfruitunderAttorney Qing... etc. At the same time, I have also seen many Buddhist disciples who have mixed eyes and eyes. From the observation of these many good teachers and their daily rituals, they can provide you with the review criteria for choosing good teachers and friends, so as to avoid regrets for making a wrong step. lifelong.

Chapter XNUMX talks about "the law of balance in interpersonal relationships", first of all, it talks about the personality traits and interpersonal relationships of the Chinese nation, and then explains the Chinese jungle teacher-disciple ethics and teaching characteristics developed from this, and finally brings out the four disciples. relationship between.Only by first understanding the importance and law of the balance between people can we have the foundation for further practice. The content of the first five chapters is mainly to take you to explore the scenery of Buddhism in modern times, and to first have a multi-dimensional understanding of some real phenomena of the practice of the four groups in Buddhism, so that we can no longer just imagine or see Buddhism. Only then can you truly and clearly choose the corresponding Dharma conditions to study according to your own wishes. If everyone can look at it with an attitude of objective observation and introspection, then any gossip in life will be a living and practical teaching material, and any right and wrong is no longer right and wrong, but just a short-term presentation of a phenomenon.

From Chapter XNUMX onwards, we will lead you to further understand the true nature of your own nature, and then proceed step by step, steadily and steadily, in the realm of phenomena, using fakes to cultivate your true self, practice your mind through experience, and truly and thoroughly see greed and hatred. There is a relationship and function between the nature of delusion and doubt and the inherent pure Buddha-nature of everyone.Specifically, how to keep the precepts, how to recite the Buddha, and how to apply the perfect Dharma in the present to solve the suffering, live a happy and happy life with the Buddha's mind and wisdom, and finally be able to enter the state of life's supreme perfection right now.In Chapter XNUMX, I also specifically listed twenty examples of self-cultivation, in order to facilitate and guide fellow practitioners to enter into the self-nature rational body at the moment.

The above brief introduction is just a little prelude. To really get the benefit of this book, you must be respectful and sincere, let go of the door, really follow it honestly, use it as you learn, and get real experience in your life practice. , so that you can turn Buddhism into the energy of your life, change your destiny, create your destiny at the moment, and become an extraordinary person who has the ability to achieve what you want.I wish you all the time to be peaceful, to be pure and kind, to have a clear mind and see your nature, and to become a Buddha.
