One is the practice of Zen Buddhism, which relies entirely on self-enlightenment. Good roots and merits, such as the sixth patriarch Hui Neng, etc., must be very pure in mind, very pure in temperament, and strong in intuition. Such people are usually less literate, and they will be less polluted by false thoughts inside and outside. There are usually no complicated dreams at night, and people who are very straight-minded in their dispositions are likely to experience an unimaginable state of mind when they encounter a mature relationship.If the culture is higher, the mind is deeper, the brain is more flexible, that is, the kind of person who pays more attention to rationality, according to the records from ancient times, there are also people who understand the Dao by themselves, but very few, and almost all such smart people must be first. Only after absorbing all the virtuous knowledge and suffering, and after spending decades, and wiping out all the arrogant knowledge in one's heart, can one enter the Dao.Like the sixth patriarch, Huineng, who had never been in contact with the Buddhadharma, when he heard the Diamond Sutra inadvertently: "There should be nowhere to live, and the mind should arise." Immediately, he knew how to use his mind to see the Way. In eight months, he can fully understand the Dharma of the mind and get the mantle of teaching the Dharma. He is probably the only person in China who has matured roots and realized the Tao quickly.Therefore, although the practice of Zen can really directly point to the human heart, see one's nature and become a Buddha, and can really rely on one's own efforts to survive birth and death, and go out of the three realms, it needs a person with a good foundation to get the great use of this method.Look at the achievements of the people in the sect, all of them have experienced hardships, and they have been engaged in major disasters and small disasters for decades, and only then can they achieve success.For example, the representative of the modern sect, the old monk Xu Yun, he went through ten difficulties and forty-eight strange encounters, and finally was able to enter the Dao.In this regard, Zen Buddhism is known as the fastest way to attain Buddhahood, and it is not fast for most people.The other is also recognized as the fastest way to attain Buddhahood among all Buddhist schools. Because this method relies entirely on the blessing of the Buddha's vows, it has a wide camera and includes all sentient beings in the nine Dharma realms, regardless of the depth of karma, The wise and the foolish, the noble and the lowly, all achieve equal success.Therefore, in contrast, from the point of view of the roots of sentient beings, the Pure Land Dharma can be regarded as the only Dharma in Buddhism that is the fastest way to attain Buddhahood.

For us ordinary beings, the realization of Zen Buddhism and becoming a Buddha seems to have always been so out of reach.But now, I can finally understand why the practice of Zen Buddhism can really make people realize Buddha instantly, and why the Arhats of the Four Fruits can go out of the Three Realms by themselves, and this matter is not difficult or mysterious at all, as long as people who are familiar with it , have the opportunity to find out.In my life, I have been specializing in the practice of the Pure Land Dharma. This karma will never change, and there is no need to change it, because it is indeed the fastest way to become a Buddha in my life, and I have already gained peace of mind and the confidence to decide to live from it. Change the law again.But at this moment, I am willing to put forward what I have gained, and encourage everyone to explore the method of instant enlightenment again, so as to further help sentient beings before they can be reborn in the Western Pure Land, they can also have the opportunity to escape from birth and death, escape from the Three Realms, and then realize enlightenment. Later, he began to cultivate, and he lived in the Land of Ultimate Bliss from time to time until the end of his life.And this state, although there is no guarantee that everyone can enter as a deed of life, but everyone can try to learn and cultivate, and it will not prevent you from specializing in pure land, reciting the Buddha's name, and it will not prevent you from majoring in other teachings.The biggest meaning is that He can help us even if we are not fully enlightened at the moment, but can also help us to overcome the afflictions with reason and learn to hold the position of virtuous cultivation. Xi, and a Buddha's name equal to ten thousand thoughts have the same effect, but they can complement each other without hindering each other.The Buddha's name is a name and the blessing of the Buddha dwelling in the heart to cut off all the present afflictions, and the law of this enlightenment is the state of the view-based state solemn to counteract all the present afflictions and habits.It is also the magical effect of using one law to rule all laws, so it is fast and the antidote is broad and round.I will describe this method of learning about the cultivation of sanctimoniousness in other chapters, and I will continue to discuss the characteristics of the Vinaya sect and under the sect.

The Vinaya is like the foot, and the teaching is like the eye. Whether it is a person who majors in Zen meditation or recites mantras or recites the Buddha, he must also have the teaching and the practice of the Vinaya, in order to walk on the correct path of the Dharma in all aspects.The Vinaya School is also divided into the Great and Small Vehicles. Since India spread to China, after the Nanshan Law was sorted out by the Taoist Xuan Lvzu of the Tang Dynasty, the teachings of the Great and Small Vehicles were integrated into it, so it is possible to become a Buddha just by specializing in the Vinaya. However, cultivating Buddhahood by doing things is like cultivating one by one from the branches and leaves, and it takes a long time. Zen Buddhism and Jingzong start from the root, and directly cultivate all cultivation. Therefore, those who specialize in Vinaya should also cultivate pureness. Zong, only by reciting the Buddha's devotion to the Pure Land can one quickly become a Buddha in one's life.But in any case, practitioners must also take and uphold the basic precepts according to the standard of precepts that you are a monk or a layman when walking, standing, sitting, and lying down. .

Chinese sects, such as "Huayan Sect", "Only Consciousness Sect" and "Tiantai Sect", all point to Buddhahood. "Huayan Sect" expounds all Buddhist teachings, including the solemnity of the Buddha's Dharma realm.It mainly uses the Dependent Origination of the Dharma Realm, the harmony of the six elements, and the Ten Mysterious Gates to show the four unobstructed Dharma Realms and the principle that all dharmas are based on the mind. The characteristic of the teachings of "Only Consciousness" is that "all dharmas are only consciousness", and all dharmas are carried out by all the seeds of good and evil contained in the alaya consciousness in each person's consciousness. "Zen", "Huayan" and "Tiantai Sect" were all founded by local Chinese ancestors and are local sects with Chinese Mahayana characteristics. "Zen" focuses more on practice, "Huayan" focuses on teachings, and "Tiantai" focuses on It has the characteristics of teaching and viewing double beauty.Both the solution door and the line door are combined with double.Represented by the wise masters, the three thousand thoughts of one thought, the harmony of the three truths, the five seasons and the eight teachings are the teaching methods, and the two movements of stillness and insight are used.In modern times, most of the pedestrians of "Huayan", "Tiantai" and even "Zen" have returned to the Western Pure Land, and they have also practiced and recited the Dharma door in order to quickly become a Buddha in their lifetime.All religions are the eyes of the practice. In order to be able to benefit greatly from practice, in addition to mastering the two disciplines of understanding and practice that you are majoring in, if you have spare energy, you can also study the core principles of each religion, which will help you. To broaden your horizons and use it in your current life.But you must follow the situation after you have news about the main practice, so as not to hinder your entry due to miscellaneous practices.If there is no karma or limited ability, you can first specialize in one method in your life, and if you have a general knowledge, you will be able to get through the door, and then you will naturally be free and unobstructed, and the methods will be integrated.
