XNUMX. See clearly the demons of greed, hatred, madness, slow suspicion

XNUMX. See clearly the demons of greed, hatred, madness, slow suspicion
The Buddhist scriptures tell us a true natural law in the universe. From the perspective of Consciousness Only, all the realms of good and evil in the external world are all realized from the seeds of Alaya consciousness in each of us.The so-called alaya consciousness is like a magnetic disk on a computer, which contains all the information from the past lives, such as in which life and where were you born, what you have done, who you have met, and what kind of grievances have occurred. ...... Events, big and small, are recorded in it without any omission, and the contents of the memory files saved by each person in the past lives are different, so the fate that appears from it is also very different. This is because each person has his own The karma corresponding to the human sense of karma in the memory of the karma works, that is, the seeds of the human karma in the alaya consciousness have arisen, so this person's karma will be inspired and reincarnated into the human world to receive karma. This is the natural law of the origin of human life, the eternal law of truth. It is not a creation in Buddhism, but a phenomenon that has existed there for a long time. The Buddha is only through his own practice. The truth is revealed in the wisdom of Prajna, and then it tells us the details of the truth. Therefore, human birth is not just as simple as being born from the womb as seen with the naked eye. It is a message that naturally exists in the universe. rules are closely related. Therefore, as human beings, some people are rich and some people are poor, but whether rich or poor, as long as they are reincarnated as human beings, unless they are incarnated by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, they must have a common characteristic, that is, they possess greed, hatred and delusion. The characteristic of skepticism is that the difference is only in the severity of each person's karma. But fortunately, the content of the data we have in the Alaya Consciousness, no matter whether it is good or bad, can be changed by ourselves. The fate of the people can be controlled in their own hands instead of hopelessly accepting the master of fate.

So how do we control our own destiny? How to increase or decrease the data stored in our kamma?First of all, we must first clearly see the demons of greed, hatred, ignorance, slowness and doubt that have been possessed by the mind since the beginningless kalpa, and only after seeing clearly can we deal with it. Get out of the endless sea of samsara. There are many ways to get rid of these five poisons. The so-called XNUMX dharmas in Buddhist scriptures are all stated to cure and eliminate the root afflictions of these five poisons. then disappear. Here I also provide you with some simple, direct, quick-acting, and easy-to-follow methods for you to uphold.First of all, as long as you understand why people are greedy and what advantages and disadvantages greed can bring, you will naturally be able to easily make correct changes and choices. In addition to the instinct to pursue the five desires in the nature of ordinary people, the fundamental reason why people are greedy is because they have no sense of security. The behavior of greed is now present, and at the same time, there will be all kinds of temporary benefits and endless disadvantages due to greed. For example, if a person finally has XNUMX million, he is afraid of currency devaluation, and he wants XNUMX million. If he has XNUMX million, it is better to have another XNUMX million to be more secure. With a house, it is better to have a famous car, or even more fame and fortune, so as not to be looked down upon, and not to feel that you are not successful enough... It seems that you can get something in the process of pursuit, but in fact The result will only make the uneasy mind and the insufficient mind expand more and more, and it will never be settled, and it is very difficult to eliminate such endless greed by one's own strength, but Here I can provide a method that I have always used very well, that is to first conform to our greed habits, and then turn to greed, a method that will never have sequelae, that is, to greedily seek to find our own treasures. This is like holding a treasure map to find our treasure that has been silent for many years. It is a very interesting and challenging game. This treasure was originally an asset of our own, but it was lost at some point. It will degenerate into a poor ordinary person. Since we cannot get rid of the evil habit of greed, then if we want to be greedy, we must first greed for the Dharma!Directly transfer this greed to this aspect first, not only this greed habit can be properly settled immediately, but it will also help us to find endless treasures in the end, and what is even more amazing is that in the end, you will suddenly suddenly be able to use this method. It is amazing to discover that the greed since the beginning of the eternal calamity can be broken without knowing it. Because of lack and anxiety, these diseases of greed will be cured without any medicine. This is really a miraculous and perfect method. So how do we retrieve the treasures of our own nature? Then one must learn one by one from the ancestral language of the Buddha's words and the guidance of the great masters.First of all, you have to carefully practice the content of this book, follow the teachings one by one, and you will naturally have a great understanding and benefit, and decide to help you find the path of new life and embark on the correct treasure hunt. I will also provide you with some specific methods for the treatment of these five poisons.

First of all, we must first see the true face of these five poisons.Greed is the most fundamental affliction among the five poisons, and it is the essence of ordinary people. How did the hatred come from? The reason why there is hatred is because of not being greedy and unable to satisfy one's various needs, so hatred arises. It is said in the Buddhist scriptures: "One thought of anger will open a million doors of obstacles." This is truly a famous saying, because everything is based on the mind. Once a bad thought arises in our heart, the reaction force in the laws of nature will immediately evoke feelings. The same state is fed back to you. For example, when you hit a ball, the harder you hit, the more force it bounces back. And when this barrier is opened, not only the external obstacles will continue to appear, but even the internal cells of the body will make trouble. Therefore, when one thinks of anger, the body will immediately produce a highly poisonous, this poison is enough to feed a breastfeeding baby. Poisoning, not to mention how much damage it will do to our internal organs? All kinds of modern cancer strange diseases are caused by normal cells. So when we think of anger and want to criticize others righteously and sternly, we are actually hurting ourselves at the moment. Isn’t this kind of action a manifestation of obsession?Hatred, evil thoughts, and evil deeds are the most foolish manifestations of their own. Therefore, a truly wise person will always keep his body, speech and mind clean, his words must be good words, and his inner thoughts must be positive. Things must be self-interested and altruistic, this is the real wise person.

Slow-mindedness also has a very big obstacle to the cultivation of the Tao, and it also has a great impact on the development of interpersonal relationships. The reason why people cannot form good relationships with each other is because of slow-mindedness. The next evil relationship, even this evil relationship will be like a butterfly effect, from point to surface, from small to large, to a powerful storm, and the cause is due to the slow heart. When I first had my ordination in Buddhism, I despised another fellow who had the ordination together. She looked very fierce and her behavior was domineering. I felt that she had neither culture nor morality, and could not convince me at all. From the bottom of my heart, I have no respect for her, because she only relied on Master's blessings for many years, and she thought she had completely mastered Master's habits, and she did gain some power from Master, so she wanted to do whatever she wanted. The earth came to control me and hinder me. I did not treat me out of the heart of protecting my thoughts, nor did I follow the precepts and common sense. For me, this matter of practice is a matter of life and death. How could I treat myself like this? The path of cultivating in the second half of life is handed over to such a middle-aged woman?Besides, I became a monk to follow my master, not to worship her as a teacher, and I should not be taught by her and controlled by her.It was because of this thought of shyness and resistance towards her at first that in the end, she was repaired to the point where she had nowhere to go, and ended up in the predicament of being a permanent dweller but not being able to return. If from this point of view, people really have the ability to make me end up like this, how can I still look at people with a slow heart? It is truly impossible to despise any sentient being!Otherwise, suffering and obstacles will be inspired endlessly. This is my awakening experience after paying a very heavy price. This is how I understand the importance of paying homage to all Buddhas and repenting of karma taught by Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. All sentient beings are future Buddhas, they all have Buddha-nature, and they all attain Buddhahood. No matter how inconspicuous a sentient being is, they should not be taken lightly, because all of them can become Buddhas in the future. If you offend a sentient being, you offend a future Buddha. In the past, it may be impossible to move an inch, and in the future, the suffering will be endless.

Doubt is the biggest obstacle for us to enter the Dao. The Huayan Sutra says, "Faith is the source of the Dao, the mother of merit and virtue, and it nurtures all the good roots." Without respect, you cannot believe, without respect, you cannot enter the Dao, and you are always wandering outside the door.In particular, the teacher must be completely distrusted and believed, so that respect can truly arise, the Dharma can be passed down into the heart, and it is possible to feel the teacher's cultivation and protection. You must also believe in the Three Tibetan Sutras taught by the Buddha. Faith is the greatest root of goodness, and only by virtue of the roots of goodness will you be able to consummate the Buddha’s way. "When you are born in that country, you will become a Buddha as soon as you are born, and to quickly become a Buddha in your life, you must have many good roots and merits to meet the basic conditions of practice. After clearly seeing the five fundamental afflictions of greed, hatred, ignorance, indifference, and doubt, how can we deal with them?If you rely on yourself to correct and cut off the same, it is basically impossible to really do it in your entire life.In Buddhism, we have generally pointed out two great ways. One is to rely solely on Buddhist power to enter the Tao from the root of goodness, and the other is to rely on self-reliance to realize the self-nature. The various cultivation methods of these two paths are explained in detail in the chapters of this book. I will share with you my personal experience of cultivating the Dao over the past XNUMX years. You will definitely find a suitable method for you to uphold and uphold. If you can really subdue these five poisonous afflictions, then you will be the happiest person right now.
