Tonight, the cause of our lecture is very, very special. I didn’t expect that there would be so many people coming. I thought that the precepts were full this time. There were more than 250 people. It turned out to be XNUMX people. But I hope it’s us. It is the first time for Monk Qinggong to teach the precepts in Malaysia, so I hope that every one of our fellow practitioners, who are willing to receive the precepts, can grasp this cause and condition.So we have another XNUMX alternate places. Fortunately, this venue is big enough, so this time the registration is also very active (a full XNUMX).
But our precepts officially started after the day after tomorrow. Tomorrow night is Sajing, so I didn’t expect everyone to be fans of monks, but in the end they all came to join us one day in advance. However, I also saw a lot of our old friends. .Especially when we started from Segamat this time, our President Chen and she also led the army. This army is the Bodhisattva Legion, and it led forty-nine people. Forty-seven of them have to sign up for the Bodhisattva ordination. It's not easy!I’ve mentioned this before. When I hosted the first Buddha one a few years ago, they would organize a tour bus to come to participate. This is not just one or two times. So it can be seen that this time, this time, it’s definitely very kind. sincere heart.This bodhisattva's motivation! !
I saw them just now, and I said that you are the living bodhisattvas. Today I only came to get the ID card, because I knew them for not a day or two. That is to say, a kind of motivation under long-term cultivation. This is the real bodhichitta. .With bodhicitta, you are qualified to receive the bodhisattva vows without any requirements.Later, we will mention it to you in tonight's lecture. Then I saw so many people. First of all, I will talk to you about my feelings, because the lecture tonight is also very special for me.On the one hand, it also warms up everyone and prepares for the passing of the precepts this time.
Later, I will talk about the methods and mentality of taking precepts, as well as how to feel the special precepts. On the other hand, I also want to say goodbye to everyone, so I look like everyone is here to see me off. It’s so lively, I'm a little touched, although you don't know what's going on, but I seem to feel this way, so I am also very happy.Then why do I want to say goodbye to everyone, because this year around March, there was originally a Buddha one. In the past, we probably started from XNUMX. I averaged once or twice a year and held it for everyone in Muar. Buddha one.The fellow practitioners who participated were also very enthusiastic. They became more and more outstanding year after year. Until last year, the year before, there were more than XNUMX people present who received the five precepts. This is very rare, so I personally say I also feel very relieved.
For the past ten or twenty years, Malaysia, especially the fellow practitioners of the Jingzong Society, are very scared when they take the precepts. Some presidents and elder practitioners even have not even the three refuges. They are really too confused. Many people don’t even dare to accept the Five Precepts.So over the years, we, and especially myself, formally obeyed our lawyer Guo Qing in the guest hall of Yuantong Temple in Puli. After the monk Qing Gong studied the commandments, I became more motivated, and when I was destined, I followed Everyone will share some commandments. In fact, our specialization in the Pure Land is not incompatible with learning the commandments.Some people say oops!I only need to recite the Buddha and seek rebirth. Our old monk Jingkong also disagrees, and does not advocate precepts and ask for precepts. Some people have such a thought, which is completely misunderstood.
Look at us in the past or two years, our old monk has also asked Lawyer Guo Qing to go to the Australian Pure Sect Society to teach you the precepts.Therefore, this cause and fate are very extraordinary, and finally resolve everyone’s misunderstandings and misunderstandings about the teachings of our old monk Jingkong. If a monk, a master of the Dharma, does not want sentient beings to learn or receive precepts, then there must be a problem. That's a foreign road, one hundred percent is a foreign road.In fact, the old monk's lecture was very clear, but because it was too extraordinary, you only listened to Dong today, only part of it, and not the other part. Then you will misunderstand and take it out of context.Because the old monk is very powerful every time he lectures, then you will be finished if you accidentally hear it wrong, just oops!Don't take the precepts, for fear that the precepts are not maintained well, and there is one more sin of violating the precepts. Then simply don't take it, then don't take it altogether. This is the last thing I added, my own misunderstanding.
In my impression, I have been listening to the old monk giving lectures for so many years. I have been learning from the old monk at the beginning, and I have been studying the Pure Land for XNUMX years. I have never felt the old monk since I came to the present. Don’t persuade others to take ordination. We need to know how to listen, so I have talked about these before, so time is limited and I don’t want to talk about it any more. In short, no matter how we study each school, the commandments are the most basic, which is equivalent to a common subject, without any The reason is not to learn or not to precept.Then learning precepts is to start from taking precepts. Some people say oh!Then I can recite Buddhism. Anyway, the five evils and ten evils can be reborn. Why do you have to take precepts? Why do you have to learn precepts? There is a lot of pressure.Always find many reasons for myself, this is specious, there is nothing wrong with it!Today we are Buddhist chanters who specialize in the Pure Land. There are no conditions. Those of us who have heard my lectures, we follow the teachings of Master Shandao, XNUMX% rely on the power of the Buddha, and we will never miss one.
There are really no conditions. As long as you are willing to go, you can go. If you are willing to go, it includes "faith, wish, and deeds." You will definitely recite the Buddha. It doesn't matter if you recite more or less. It's really like this.But the question is, is it possible for a person who is really willing to let go of the Pure Land of Survival not uphold the precepts? It is absolutely impossible.So if there is a rejection of learning the precepts and keeping the precepts, it means that we have a problem with our heart for survival, and we may not have your share if we want to die.Then don’t feel pressure to keep the precepts. You thought it would be better to recite the Buddha, but now you have to learn the precepts and keep the precepts.Damn!If the five precepts are not enough, the bodhisattva precepts seem to be getting harder and harder!Actually, this is also an illusion of everyone.
If you have heard what I said, some of the discs recorded in the past two years, and discs about the precepts, you can understand.We learn the precepts, the precepts themselves are to help us liberate, so if our methods are correct, the more we learn, the happier we should be, and the more we learn, the more liberated we are.The reason why we are still troubled by chanting Buddhism today is that on the one hand, we don’t understand the truth and haven’t heard Master Shandao’s pure land thoughts. On the other hand, we don’t hold the precepts. If you don’t hold the precepts, it means that you still think about the five desires and six dust Growth, lust and greed, so of course your worries cannot be alleviated. If you recite Buddhism in your mouth, you are thinking of five desires and six dusts in your heart.Of course you can't see the effect no matter how you read it.Therefore, people who truly recite Buddhism, and even those who practice meditation and tantric practice, must keep the precepts.
Some people say that you don't need to keep the precepts for tantric practice. Those who have been fully enlightened are already in the realm of a great bodhisattva whose supernatural powers have changed. It is the same thing whether he holds or not. There is no difference. Ordinary living beings still need to keep the precepts.So we must be clear about this concept, especially that we must understand that as long as we know how to learn the precepts, we can learn very happily, and everyone should not be under pressure.
Well, before learning the precepts, you see that some of our fellow practitioners are usually very diligent and study the precepts themselves, but why do they not learn the precepts well and hold them badly? It’s because they didn’t feel the precepts. This is correct. The second step is to ask for the precepts first, then use the correct method to get the precepts, and then learn the precepts. You will be happy and relaxed when you hold the precepts, because there is the blessing of the precepts and the help of the protector god.This time we have to figure it out first.Therefore, those who did not ask for the precepts, and even the people who did not ask for the five precepts so far, my speech is relatively heavy; I am not a true disciple of the Three Jewels, what is it?It is the believers in Buddhism who come to make connections.
why?Because you should be a good person from the beginning of the three refuges, refuge in the Buddha, refuge in the law, and refuge in the monk.To convert to the Three Jewels, one must be a good person. What are the basic conditions for being a good person?It is the five precepts, and the five precepts are just the standards and causes of the human body.If we want to get a human body in the next life, you must at least hold the five precepts. The five precepts are equivalent to what we say in Confucianism: "Benevolence, Righteousness, Reason, Wisdom, and Faith". If you are unwilling to learn even the Five Precepts, you are unwilling to learn. , Because you are unwilling to take the precepts, unwilling to learn the precepts, it means that you don't pay much attention to it.That means that we don't even want to work hard to meet the standards of life.So how can you be a disciple of the Buddha? If you don't really take refuge in the Three Jewels, you must follow the teachings and practice when you take refuge in the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha. So after taking refuge, if we really want to learn Buddhism, we must take the Five Precepts.This is the minimum, don't make excuses for yourself in the future, oops!Just learn it on my own, anyway, I am holding it, and holding it is not good because there is no blessing of the precepts.
Then why do we need to have the precepts? Because we have to have an intention first. I am willing to bear it. It doesn't matter even if we don't go to hell well. In fact, we won't go to hell. Don't worry.If you want to go to hell, the hell is already full, and it's not that easy.Those of us who truly convert to the Three Jewels will not fall into the Three Tus as long as they take three refuges. What's more, we have people who receive the Five Precepts. We can learn as much as we can, and we can repent if we don’t, so we don’t have to worry at all.
(XNUMX) Promote the teaching method of Master Shandao and the cause of Facebook teaching
Well, I just said that I want to say goodbye to everyone. I need to explain this matter to you first, because now it seems that the commandments are very important, so let's give everyone peace of mind first.So I just mentioned that I want to say goodbye because I personally came into contact with the teachings of Master Shandao about eight years ago, our second ancestor of Jingzong, his pure land thoughts, and then established confidence in the death, that is only in the present moment. , It doesn’t take much time.Even if you are in Zen Buddhism, you want to participate in Zen for enlightenment, it is only for a moment. When the season comes, you go in.Since then!In fact, I just want to let go of all destiny, but the blessing is not enough, and the cause and destiny are not sufficient. Why?Because the debt owed to sentient beings has not yet been paid, I wanted to rush to lock up and recite the Buddha at that time. However, because someone asked to preach the sutra, at that time, it was also started from the school here in Malaysia, so we also have to keep surviving sentient beings.At that time, I also struggled for a long time, because when I first promoted this Fa, there were a lot of controversies!Even now it's still broken!But it is at least polarized, and many people benefit from it. That's enough.At that time, I was also struggling, because no one was learning to have a new way of teaching. In fact, my teaching method is the same as our old monk Jingkong, but at first, everyone used different words and expressions in teaching the Fa. , So it will be full of controversy. These are things that I expected, so at first I didn’t want to promote this Dharma. However, because of the enlightenment of sentient beings, I also felt that I was in the fifth Dharma promotion training class in Singapore. After graduating, I feel that this is also my duty. I have achieved a Consummation of Dharma practice. After the Consummation of Buddhism, I am obliged to share it with you. So at that time I started to learn from Malaysia and South Malaysia. At the beginning, all the way from south to north, Dharma origin is very special.
In the past, no one liked to listen to the lectures at the beginning, because we did not have a culture of lectures in Malaysia.Everyone only likes the practice meeting.It’s really different now. In the past few years, I have officially circulated the magic weapon for five or six years. In particular, the group of people led by President Segamat can really be said to be a model of our Malaysian learning, as well as my last one. Yue was also invited to the United States and Brazil. In Brazil, he taught lectures to Catholics, taught yoga and worshipped the Buddha, and the Dharma was also very good. The United States was the Jingzong Society and the Los Angeles Jingzong Society. The president also led very well. This It's hard to come by.It was very rare in Malaysia in the past few years, of course!There are also many academics that are very good. Everyone works very hard, but I haven't gotten acquaintances everywhere.It’s just my impression that it’s all based on Fa conferences, so I have seen some results over the years. In addition to starting to promote the thoughts of Master Shandao, I have also started classes on Facebook. Those students who have been the longest also followed I have been with me for more than four years, and basically no one has left.
Since the beginning of registration, except for the few who were dropped out of school, almost no one has left until now. I can't see this, nor can I see any dojo. It is often very lively to go in and out.From the beginning, they were disrespectful three treasures, tribute to the three treasures, I was too slow, and some came to me to debate, so they were silently rejected by me. After half a year of silence, they saw me today and came to confess to me again. As a result, they are now not after noon. Eat!Then we are very diligent in keeping the precepts. Most of us fellow practitioners don’t eat after lunch. If we don’t eat this after lunch, they are also very happy and easy to hold. Everyone can share these things. Then the main cause is to worship us. The blessing of the public monk, because he wants me to hold it, I want them to hold it. This does not mean that it has nothing to do with our death. This also shows that it is easy to hold the precepts, and it can be very happy.
So in addition to the past few years of propaganda, there are also Facebook teaching, which can be regarded as a successful sample. Although just over four years, I think the debt I should pay is almost the same. On the one hand, I have a good destiny. How is the destiny? Full?Because in fact, in the past few years, I have always wanted to close the door to recite the Buddha, so I do not want to recite the Buddha!In XNUMX, I used to be confined for three full years and work hard by myself, so I am not referring to this kind of closed doors to recite the Buddha, but in the Sangha, supported by the Sangha Female Sangha, and follow everyone. When chanting Buddhism, you usually just stop talking, which is equivalent to doing clear work and letting the Sangha support you. This cause is not easy to be satisfied.The abbot is busier than anyone else, and there is no way to stop talking and chanting Buddha.
Then this predestined condition has also been fulfilled recently. It should be that the debt is almost repaid. There should be another one at the beginning of this year. There should be another one here in Muar, because it has already been arranged, and I originally wanted to complete it. However, it was cancelled later, so I have to explain it a little bit here.Because I was going to hold a dharma meeting, I was planning to accept two disciples from Muar, so I can also mention it by the way.Why should I accept apprentices?It is also the blessing of the monk Qing Gong, he does both soft and hard!On the one hand, I want me to keep the precepts well and memorize the precepts!The Brahma Net Sutra must be memorized well, and this bhikshuni vow must be memorized. On the one hand, he also encouraged me to develop a heart to protect me. All of us who are abbots must act as inner protectors to support the practice of the masses.
At that time, I kept saying that I didn’t dare to bear it, because I was ashamed to learn the vows. I only started to study earnestly in the past few years. Of course, I used to practice vows in the jungle, chanting vows for half a month and half a month, but I didn’t study it in particular. It’s not as professional and subtle as the monks and their research, so I dare not bear it, and in the past we all followed the example of Master Yinguang, not accepting disciples, improper abbots, and ignoring personnel, so I never wanted to accept disciples. , But the monk made me feel that he was really for the promotion of commandments!He really spared no effort, worked so hard, he was so old when he was so old, he is purely working for the public, for teaching, for the spread of precepts, the old people are all so dedicated, we seem to be unable to justify ourselves, so I thought, I didn't take it right away, so I thought about this issue quietly and well.
(XNUMX) Consummate the merits of earning and accepting apprentices
Then one day in the process of beating the Seventh Buddha, the Seventh Buddha of the monk Guoqing was also the Seventh Buddha of the Dharma. His Seventh Buddha of the Dharma was very extraordinary. None of his six incense sticks went to the toilet.It’s not like our lotus friends go out and wander around all day long.The monk didn't even clean the room last time.I like the Seventh Buddha who participated in his teaching the most.Just during that time, every time I was very mindful. That time I was suddenly, wow!Suddenly a very strong compassion arises, because the monk's previous instructions, and then he took this matter to his heart, but he hasn't really taken his heart out yet, but this is a major event after all. This is not a joke, it may be a great sacrifice. .
You see, the wise master said that if he does not lead the people to practice, he will not only die from the five grades, but also the five grades.His taste will be higher. This is definitely a sacrifice. What's more, we don't have much effort on our own. Isn't this sacrifice over?So I didn’t make a decision right away, but at that time I was blessed among the seven Buddhas. I suddenly thought of these students on our Facebook. Some of these students had never had boyfriends. They were getting older. I was thinking about becoming an old virgin in the future. do?There was no one to take care of them. In fact, they did not have the qualifications to become a monk. At that time, I also told them that they did not have the Taoism to be born.Those of us who are at home, in fact, those of us who are on Facebook, after years of playing incense, basically have Dao-mindedness than the average layman, and better than the average layman in other places outside. This is true.I usually scold them, but today is the first time I admire them, because the time has been long, I slowly cultivated, but I can’t run away. Think about it for a few years, I work hard every day, and then I keep getting more and more vigorous. Yan, it is really commendable!
Even so, you said that it is still far from being qualified to become a monk. I still often scold them not to think that you have cultivated very well. It would be great if you didn't eat after lunch!The Taoist mind that is truly born is the sacrifice of one's life and life, not just the things outside the body, the family's relatives, but even this body must be given to the Three Jewels and to all sentient beings. Only then can you be qualified to become a monk. As a result, everyone fell down when I tried. Ran.I finally caught two of them. They used to talk about it often, Master, I will follow you all my life, and then we will be able to speak nice things, and our class of fellow practitioners are very good at acting spoiled, just talking. Just forget it as soon as you talk, and forget it after you sleep.But because I have already talked about it, I just think it's okay!Now that I have spoken, I will test it. I will find two at random. Single, no objection at home, I said okay, let's become a monk!
Before this, there is another one. I also came from Hong Kong today. I also asked her. I just sent her a text message. I said, "I will shave tomorrow", and suddenly I told her about my shaved day. She was not scared all night. Sleep well, because usually my students are well-trained. I send a text message, especially on Facebook. As long as the other party sees the message, we all know that it will be displayed.So none of them dare not reply, as long as they see it, they must reply immediately, otherwise they will be repaired by me. This is respectful.You see that you don’t answer, are you the boss?I have trained well for this, but she didn’t come back all night that night. I knew she must be trembling by the bed, so this must have failed the test. I was joking about this, because I just want to test her. Yes, because I usually speak very well.
Then the two who were called later said to them, "You can prepare to become a monk", not tomorrow!Yes, you can prepare to become a monk. Hey, both of you said yes! Then there was no objection in the family, and the fate went well. So I ordered this year’s, it should be March. I forgot, I’m going to be together at the time of Buddha. A ceremony was held, but after one escaped, the other ran along. The posters were all posted, and I reported briefly with the monk Qinggong. I got all the dharma names and bought the monk clothes. All of a sudden, he said, "Master, I don’t know. You can become a monk for a short period of time, and then you will become a monk later.” I said what a joke is this. Think about it clearly. If you don’t shave this time, I won’t shave, and I will seal the knife in the future. I will take this opportunity. The knife is about to be sealed.why?Because I have a reason to seal the knife!
I didn’t want to receive them at first, and I don’t have the Taoism to be a monk. Why do I want to receive them? I thought of them. On the other hand, I also considered that in addition to the two of them, I also considered Muar. The fellow practitioners at Bian, because after all, I have been preaching here for several years, and I feel very cordial with the fellow practitioners here. I used to go to Malaysia to give lectures frequently after graduating from the training course in XNUMX, so these five or six years For me, it’s a very important stage in spreading the Dharma. Most of them are in the Xingma area. I also hope that after shaved off with them, let them bring everyone to the local area to lead people to recite the Buddha, so I can feel at ease. Do my thing, close the door and stop talking to the Buddha, and then you can go to the Sangha.
Because these causes are always better when we arrange it well, they all escaped, so much trouble, so grateful for them, grateful for them, I was very grateful for them at the time.Because my heart has already been sent out, then my merits have been fulfilled, and the monk can’t blame me. I can’t do anything if the apprentice ran away. This matter was saved. So at that time I officially sealed the sword and won’t accept the apprentice. I have accepted apprentices, and a lot of Dharma promotion DVDs have been recorded in the following years.It happened that there was a nun in Beijing. The dharma fate that I formed XNUMX or XNUMX years ago was the same as a co-participant. Now as the abbot, she wants to protect me, a women’s dojo, so all karma is sufficient. I arranged that after the end of the Lunar New Year next year, I would start chanting Buddha for three to five years. If Amitabha came to pick me up, I would leave.So today can be regarded as a farewell meeting, and I feel that you are here to see me off, and it's amazing.
If Amitabha did not come, it means that the cause and fate have not yet arrived, and the matter has not been completed yet, we will let the fate.Although the old monk also said that in Shenzhen, there was a group of lay men who were thirty years old. He really proved to everyone that he closed the door and recanted the Buddha. He died in two or three years, less than three years.But everyone has different causes and destiny. Basically, I would advise everyone to use this body waste. Although we are ordinary people of sin and karma, there is still a little use. If you can use it, you can close the door and recite the Buddha if you are destined. , We accumulate some merits and resources, and form the predestined relationship for all beings. These are all the resources that we must accumulate before becoming a Buddha. Bodhisattva Dao!
(XNUMX) Senghong, vulgar protection and destiny
This time we are going to receive the Bodhisattva vows of the Brahma Net Sutra. People who do not receive the Bodhisattva vows cannot become Buddhas!Of course, as soon as we die, Amitabha has the skill to allow us to obtain the precepts. Generally, we practice the path of the Bodhisattva. You cannot become a Buddha without taking the precepts of the Bodhisattva!So we have this cause, we have to accumulate as much as possible, and our body needs to make the best use of everything.Of course, it depends on the individual. This is an example. The layman wants to prove what he wants to prove. He wants to prove that you are really interested and that you can really die in three years. It is such an example, but it does not require everyone to shut up. The door goes back and forth.In that case, it won't work if no one is guarding the dojo!It is the duty of the disciples of the Three Treasures to protect the dojo. Don’t think about helping Buddhism. The monks are also doing volunteer work!We are full-time volunteers, so we all have our own obligations. We are all Buddhist disciples, and we all have obligations to do our part.
Unless there is really no cause, like once before, I was in Wuhan on the mainland, one of the seven Buddhas, and we were a senior. He had too many temples and had no time to lecture. Please ask me to help him.In the end, there was a young man in his thirties. He told me that he was going to retreat for a few days and asked to die. When I saw that he was so restless, the whole person was restless, I told him you must not go, you go. You must be enchanted. Although chanting Buddha is more appropriate than other methods, there is nothing wrong with it, but if you have a problem with your own mentality, then you will definitely be enchanted by chanting Buddha in retreat, so this is very dangerous.
I persuaded him at the time, and then he obediently went to the monastery to sign up as a volunteer.So it depends on the cause and condition, everything should be natural, then I also go with the natural flow, why I just said that after we have established our faith in rebirth, it is impossible not to want to recite the Buddha, it is impossible not to like to recite the Buddha.This is mentioned in the CD. I used to hate Buddhist chanting. We and the old monk were studying Buddhist scriptures, so why do you like chanting Buddha!A few young people like to recite Buddhism, but they really like it later, but they like it very much. If you insist on doing it deliberately, that's selfishness!Then it becomes Han!Nor can it.So I have been looking forward to it. Now that the causes and conditions are mature, it is really a good thing for me. If there is really no way to go, there are still tasks to do. What should I do next?I also don't accept apprentices and don't be abbots.But, if I have a cause, I have an announcement on Facebook now, if there is a real protector with a righteous view, because now many monks are still making fate and building temples by themselves. I have been a monk for more than ten years, and I have not followed People have spent a dime, and the CDs we got together have not allocated an account, because I don't use it myself, I live in a tin house, and drink spring water without paying water bills.
We grow the vegetables ourselves, and the neighbors will also send them. We don’t need them at all.However, there are some people who have made great aspirations, and some have devoted their lives to build temples, so they have to go to alms. In fact, this is not as good as the Dharma, but this is no way. He is equivalent to a monk who also works as a Dharma protector. Building a temple makes the public.The real cause and condition of the true Dharma is that the monks lead the Dharma, and the lay people are responsible for protecting the Dharma. If this kind of cause is really sufficient, I can bear it.Do what I should do in this part of the monks, lead the people to practice, and build the ten-party nuns.

The general lay Buddhist chanting hall, chanting together Cultivation is possible, but if you want to practice precepts and recite the Buddha, or even train the monks, because the monks must be cultivated. Without a good environment, there is no way to cultivate the great virtues of the monks.So if there is a cause and condition, I am willing to bear it, but I must have the righteous view to cooperate. If there is no me, I will not do it and continue to recite the Buddha. We will do everything according to the condition.Okay, this is my personal fate. I will give you a report, because I have said in the past that I will come to Muar twice a year, and suddenly I will not come next year. It will not work without an explanation.
(XNUMX) The correct concept of taking precepts
Next, I’m going to tell you about our topic today. The main purpose is to let you know some of the correct concepts of taking precepts, and how to appreciate the special precepts. In fact, because of the limited time now, we also have a CD-ROM this time. This time, I was at the Pure Sect Society in Los Angeles, because they happened to teach the bodhisattva vows, so the disc I recorded was also related to the vows.I shared some of my past experiences in keeping the precepts and taking precepts, and I recorded them. This time they are also for everyone, so you can watch them more when you go back.Then this time I focus on guiding you how to excel in the precepts, myself!I used to take the bodhisattva vows about twenty years ago, in the first year of my first year of school, I was confused about taking the bodhisattva vows. My three refuges were also confused. I went to the mountains with others. After I finished reciting the three refuges, they took refuge. Prove it to me, what do I say this is?I don't know, the monks are also confused, but you are more blessed than me, luckier than me, and you can study before taking the precepts in two days.
Before that, I finished the vows for seven days. At that time, the vows were quite long. After I came out, I just felt that I had learned a lot of rules. At that time, I didn't know how to recite the vows for half a month and a half, and I didn't know.Because the precepts are actually some rituals for preaching the precepts, and then there are a lot of teachings, such as dressing, such as the rules of the hall, etc. In theory, there are relatively few things. How to feel the precepts is explained in general materials. Also very few.So I thought, this time I will make a supplement, especially I am the organizer of the invitation. This time, I hope to pass on the precepts. I feel that I have this responsibility, and I must help everyone feel the most extraordinary precepts. Therefore, this lecture is specially arranged for everyone to strengthen it.
In addition, I was in Canada three years ago. At that time, I was a classmate of me, the abbot of the Chinese Temple. He asked Monk Guo Qing to preach the precepts. At the same time, he also invited me to preach the precepts. That time it lasted two months.Originally, he expected XNUMX to XNUMX people to take the ordination, because there are very few people studying Buddhism abroad. It is really a treasure, a rare treasure!As a result, after two months of speaking, two or three classes a week, there were more than one hundred people who were ordained at that time. I don’t know where they came from. Normally there are not so many fellow practitioners. It is indeed this advanced education. Very important!
In addition to clarifying some concepts of taking precepts, don’t be afraid of taking precepts, don’t be afraid of going to hell, you have to have the mind, and the mind is true. The greater your mind, the more rewarding you will feel.I won’t go into this detail. At that time, I recorded eight sessions and covered the entire Sanskrit Internet Sutra. I was speaking in outline, not verbatim. I would not finish the eight sessions verbatim, but Because the way I talk about the key points makes it easier for everyone to understand. You will know how to hold it when you understand it, so you can also study that part on the Internet.Today I will mainly talk to you about the precepts part, the process of taking precepts.
There are two types of precepts, one is called "being precepts" and the other is "non precepts".What is active?To do is to act, the body, mouth, and mind are mainly body and mouth. When do you get this precept of acting?It is the process of our monks passing the precepts. The whole ceremony, including asking you, can you be maintained without killing?You have to talk about being able to hold on. If you don’t hold on to this one, you don’t want to talk about it. Yes, you have promised to hold on, then you can feel your precepts right now.You already have the will, the promise, but the precepts will disappear, how can it disappear?It is with this ceremony that after the ceremony of passing the precepts is over, the precepts that have been made are over, and the ceremony is over!So if some people don't feel the other non-action precepts, then they won't be able to generate much blessing power.
After going back for a long time, I didn’t learn the vows. Like I did before, I didn’t chant or learn vows. It seemed that everything would be fine after I received the vows. After a while, I forgot all the sense of supremacy of taking the vows. The precepts that you have made will disappear. With the end of the ceremony, what you have said may not count, right?The monk asks if you can hold it, can hold it!Every one can be held, and every one can be held. After a while, I forgot to take it all. I didn’t hold it and didn’t learn it. So when did I get the precepts for doing it? It’s the process of rituals. But it will disappear afterwards.
Then what we have to really feel is the non-working precepts. This non-working precepts is, if it is outside the bodhisattva precepts, the five precepts, eight fasts, and even our bhikkhus and bhikshuni precepts, this non-working precepts are not in our life. You will lose unless you give it up by yourself, but the Bodhisattva vows are different. They are to fulfill the future; the general vows, I just said that these vows are for the ultimate life, so if we only need a moment, we have a real life. Feeling that there is no precept, this precept will follow you from generation to generation, the seeds of the Bodhisattva have been planted, and will not disappear, unless you want to give up the vow, you say yes, I say to someone: I want to give up Precept, then there is no, because Buddha can't force such things, it is our own free will that decides.
You don’t want to be a bodhisattva. If you want to believe in Christianity, He can’t do anything about it. Well, if you want to believe in other religions, there’s no way. That’s really gone.Then you didn't give up the precepts, this non-practice precepts, the non-practice precepts of the bodhisattva precepts will accompany you from generation to generation.So even if you do not die, you will fall into the third turbidity, suffer from countless calamities for life after life, and then gain the human body. The bodhisattva vows are still there. It is too powerful and extraordinary!So yeah!You must receive the bodhisattva vows as soon as possible. The seeds are planted first. It is not that the five precepts are well maintained before you are eligible to receive the bodhisattva vows. That is totally wrong. This is not what I said. I will give a paragraph from the Brahma Net Sutra, and there are many lawyers. They will guide us in this way. The Brahma Net Sutra says: "All those who have the mind should receive the ordination of the Buddha, and all beings who receive the ordination of the Buddha will enter the Buddhas and be in the same position as the great enlightenment. They are really the sons of Buddhas."
When you go back, this time there is a vow to publish the Brahma Net Sutra. Go back and look through it; "All those who have the mind should take the Buddha vows." He didn't say that all of you who have kung fu have precepts, concentration, wisdom, and power of concentration. People who are wise and talented, He has no conditions. "All those who have the heart", you can do it if you want to. What kind of intention?Bodhicitta, do you want to be a bodhisattva? Of course you want to be a bodhisattva when you receive the bodhisattva precepts. You only need to have the heart. Bodhisattvas, bodhicitta are ordinary. Right, we must make a wish to save sentient beings.
Then, for those who learn from the Pure Land, bodhicitta is the heart that aspires to live in the blissful world and become a Buddha. That is what we just said to become a Buddha. It means to receive the bodhisattva vow, and you must be a bodhisattva. Even if you can’t receive the bodhisattva vow in your life, you must have that heart. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !is not it?Our main Pure Land Three Sutras all talk about sending bodhicitta, right? "To send bodhicitta, always pay attention to it." To send bodhicitta is the mind of a bodhisattva.Therefore, a person who recites a Buddha must have a bodhisattva mind. You are a Mahayana, and you are not a Hinayana. If a bodhisattva can have an identity card, it would be better and more complete, right?If you really take the precepts, feel the precepts, and bless you on how to learn and hold the precepts well, you will have a higher grade in the future. This will help, and they all complement each other.
So as long as you have the heart, you can ask for the bodhisattva vows, and then slowly learn the precepts one by one. If you don't learn well, repent if you don't learn well, repent and then continue to learn it. It's such a process without any pressure.Which of the precepts you can't do, it doesn't matter even if you give up first, give up a few, it doesn't matter what you can't do.Therefore, anyone who has a predestined relationship should hurry up to take the bodhisattva vows and then receive the bodhisattva vows in order to truly feel the vows. As we just talked about the abstinence precepts, the power of the absent precepts is very great.It won’t be like I’ve gone wrong before, and I still don’t feel it when I go back, so how can I get without precepts?It is from the monk who obtains the precepts, and also through the precepts of the precepts. It is a process of the ritual we just talked about, but this process is focused on our hearts!We just said that it is a prerequisite that you have the heart to ask and receive the bodhisattva vows, and you have this heart and are willing to ask and receive.In the process after the request, the monk who has attained the precepts must instill his pure precepts to us, transmit them to us, and pass them on to us. He will pray for us to prove the ten directions and three treasures. Only the Buddha can help us pass the precepts. The monk who got the precepts only helped us perform the rituals, but because of his pure moral virtues, he had the precepts himself, and he passed them directly to us. This is just a role of transmission. In fact, we are taking precepts with the Buddha and talking to the Shifang Zhushen. Buddha, the bodhisattva vows only the Buddha is qualified to preach vows.If you read the Brahma Net Sutra, you will know that the Dependent Origination in it is the Buddha Shakyamuni himself chanting the vows and preaching the Bodhisattva vows himself, so we are now asking the three masters to receive the bodhisattva vows. In fact, it is through their pure vows. They have already obtained a medium of precepts to pass the precepts of the Buddha to us. This concept needs to be clarified.
(XNUMX) How to feel the special precepts
Then why do you want to pass it through the monk passing the precepts?And it also matters whether the monk's precepts are pure or not.Because I have been close to Monk Guoqing myself, I really feel that he is really a great virtue who has very few precepts and purity, so you really have too much blessing, too much older than me, and actually have enough. For this kind of fate, in such a solemn and luxurious hotel, such a venue, the hardware and software are so outstanding, your good fortune is several times larger than mine.Because the monk maintains the precepts and is pure, I have been close to him. I know, because I often have a period of time, and because I am dedicated to sorting out the monk’s magic weapons, etc., there are some opportunities to get close to him often, and most women basically have no chance. of.I feel that his magnetic field is really different, very peaceful and clean.For more than XNUMX years, he has eaten one meal a day and eats one meal a day. He has practiced four times of banzhou samādhi. For ninety days at a time, we are finished in one day. He does not sleep for ninety days, and he can’t walk. Sitting, unable to lie down, and unable to lie down are the practice of chanting and chanting. We may be finished in less than a day.
I used to lead the crowd in Singapore, and we started to lead the crowd in the middle of the night. It was really a two-hour walk and my feet stiffened. It really made my feet soft!I really experienced the sensation of soft feet. I was afraid of falling and didn't have any strength.The monk hasn't slept for ninety days and repaired four times, so his pure magnetic field naturally has a ring.We are indispensable for the three learnings of precepts, meditation, and enlightenment.By keeping the precepts and purifying the roots, the roots are good for spreading out. The general bodhisattva vows must pass through the monk who has obtained the vows.The so-called "precept monk" means that he has obtained the precepts, and his own magnetic field, the pure magnetic field radiates to us, plus the process, it will have three karma, which means that it takes us to visualize and how to go. Get the ring of the Buddha and follow the Buddha.
Its first visualization is that we must first let the monk lead us to recite the precepts for the first time, and chant three times in total, three times of karma. When reciting the precepts for the first time, he will teach us to visualize. , Ten thousand dharmas, turning all dharma into good dharma, and turning all dharma into good dharma. For example, there are some nasty people in our hearts, kinsmen and creditors, and how the world is so chaotic that there are wicked people everywhere, Politics!It's so dark, and the traffic is messy!Then there are resentment meetings everywhere, right?Is this what we see now?Yes!I often see it too, and then immediately bring up righteous thoughts, hurry up and repent, oops!No, no, everything we see in our eyes is the realm of our hearts, so when we see impureness, it is actually the seeds of impureness in our hearts that are present, and we are going to return to the light, so this turns all dhammas into good dharma.
Look at these evil chaos in our eyes and turn it into a good law. This is not self-deception. It is obviously so messy, and it is clearly so messy. Why do you want me to think of it as a good law? No, this is not called self-deception. , This is the method of practice.To help us transform the three poisons of greed, anger, ignorance and ignorance in our hearts into precepts, concentration and wisdom, and into pure seeds. Actually, in reality, everything is illusion, and those bad things are not really bad. We are the ones who make it. If we regard it as bad, this realm is very wonderful. We don't have time to talk about it, but in fact it is so, so there is no bad phenomenon in the outside world, there really is none.Anyway, what we saw today is indeed there, it doesn't matter!It is true that we should turn it around, temporarily turn it around, and turn it into a virtuous law. This is the homework we have to do in the first action, and the previous homework, we must first do such a visualization.Don't want to say that I can't turn it anyway, just turn it around. It's not that difficult, it's just a thought.
For example, if you look at it now, this person looks very annoying at first, but when you think about it, in fact, she also has a cute place, right, if she doesn't look so annoying, how can she bring out my person so good, she also has Contribute, see what you think!Then you think of a couple, and turn around. The more you look, the more cute you are. This person really doesn't have an innocent creditor.All in all, this is the previous homework we have to do. You have not done this, you have no way of purifying your heart, and you have no way to feel a good precept. You must do this.So the monk takes us to do it, so we just do the visualization. The first visualization is this.
The second visualization is that all the good dharma that has been transformed into this good dharma, everything outside is pure, then these pure good dharma are like clouds, like auspicious clouds, auspicious clouds, like umbrella covers, all It's all concentrated on our heads, "Yunlaiji". When we sing praises, haven't we ever sang Yunlaiji?This Yunlaiji represents the good dharma. All the good dharma is concentrated on my head. To come to bless me, all have already appeared, through the ten directions. You see, we all have invited the holy before, it is the Buddhas of the ten directions. Come and preach with us, they will all be there.If the monk preaching the precepts does this ritual to pray for us, they will all come, then the ten good dharma, the good dharma we have visualized will also be concentrated, the Buddha will bless, all of them will be concentrated, this area will be very peaceful, The place where there are precepts is very special.
Our old monk Jingkong said that as long as there are real practitioners, within a hundred miles, it is very auspicious. When there is a disaster, the big things will be reduced, and the small things will become nothing.What's more, we have so many people today. This time there are more than two hundred people who have signed up, and nearly two hundred and fifty people have signed up one after another in the past few days.It's really full!Moreover, I think that I know a lot of people who come here. There are quite a hundred of our old fellow practitioners. They used to come to participate in the first of Buddha. So I know that they are really motivated, not to join in the fun. Yes, people are affected by it.So look at everyone's thoughts, kind thoughts, bodhicitta thoughts!Gathering together, we were able to invite six very diligent and rigorous lawyers including Shangguo Xiaqing, the most respected lawyer in the law school in Taiwan’s Buddhism, to help us pass the precepts. Our fate these past few days is really extraordinary. It's so extraordinary!I rarely see it, so I think it is very gratifying to me. Such a good farewell ceremony and the fate of the farewell are the blessing of the monk.
Then the third stage is after these good dharma are gathered on our heads, and then above our heads.
Then we will begin to visualize the boundless and boundless virtues. This cloud, like auspicious clouds, like an umbrella cover, fills our whole body, from the top of the head to the soles of the feet, and the whole body is filled with auspiciousness. After being radiated and perfused, at this time we can get the non-work precepts right now in our hearts.It is the heart of the Bodhisattva. He is compassionate. There is only good Dharma in his heart. Everything he has poured in is good. There is nothing impure or evil in our hearts.This is our mana, and we have mana after receiving the precepts and gaining no precepts!That's different, just look at it!Immense and boundless good dharma has been poured in, don’t you just have magic power?is not it?
In the future, you don’t need to ask a master for transcendence, just go by yourself, recite the Buddha with sincerity, ask for blessings, and you, Bodhisattva, you can go back to transcendence with him, don’t be so superstitious, go to practice meetings all day long. It has its merits, and it really needs to be repaired.The practice meeting is not enough. You have to practice, and you must not just stay at that stage if you want to do old practice. There was no practice meeting in the Buddha's time!is not it?We chanting Buddha don’t need you to practice meetings. Of course, the three-time system is also very good. It is also a puja of the Pure Land, but after all, it caters to the public who likes to lively and lively. For example, I rarely participate in pujas. If I sing praises , I will sing the Amitabha praise as the incense praise. Everyone has different expertise, so I don't know anything about the Fa conference.I still prefer to recite the Buddha well one sentence after another. I feel very happy.Therefore, we have to feel the non-acting precepts. The non-acting precepts are the invisible and colorless things that do not fake it. It depends on the process we just talked about, one visualization, one motivation, and then through real rituals. Guided, poured into it, becomes the seed in our hearts.The seed called Alaya Consciousness is planted in the knowledge-only theory. It is really magical power, a great magical power, which will not be lost from life to life; when the time has come, when the cause is reached, it will sprout again, no matter how serious the sin you have committed. , Retribution, it will still sprout when the time comes. Unless you abandon it yourself, this non-work precept will never be lost, so it is very extraordinary. If you receive the five precepts, you don’t have this. If you take the five precepts, it will not. There is only one life, and the same is true for our bhikkhus and bhikshuni vows. All these are only one life, unless you don't give up the vows by yourself, so the bodhisattva vows are special.
(XNUMX) Burning incense in the heart to replace the suffering of sentient beings
There is also a hot ring scar, because when we are in the bodhisattva ring, there will be a hot ring scar ritual when we teach the bodhisattva ring. Our hot ring scar is free to make our minds, and we don't force it.But don’t burn too much. The monks are too tired to burn too much. We have a lot of rings this time. It doesn’t work if the time is too long. Usually three are burned.When I was in Canada in XNUMX, because it happened that the monk Qinggong passed the precepts, there were only three or four days to preach the precepts, but that time the monk went to stay for ten days, we had the opportunity to get close throughout the process, and that time the fate was too special. , I also received great blessings myself. During the preaching process, because the abbot was my classmate, he invited me to preach the precepts, and he also asked me to help. My class was stopped for a few days, and I was in the precepts to preach the precepts. I went to help in those few days. When the ring scar was burned, it was the monks and the others that burned the ring scar. There were also several bhikkhus who helped burn the ring scar.I fanned a fan next to the monk, assisting, because it was very hot after the ironing, so I needed to stick a watermelon peel, and someone was holding a fan, so I was there to do a good job.Suddenly, everyone’s rings were almost burned. There were six or seven people left. It was about to end. Suddenly, there were two women. Pushing the front one and pushing her to the front of the monk, they wanted to burn the ring scars. At this look, it seemed that it was not voluntary, but it was very happy again. Everyone was very happy and their expressions were very happy, but why were they pushed?So I asked her first, and I asked, are you voluntarily taking the precepts?Don't force it, you must burn your ring scars if you don't take the precepts.She said I want to be hot, I said you want to be hot, but you don't look like you want to be hot, she said I want to be hot, I want to be hot, but I don't know why I want to be hot (Everyone laughs)?When she spoke, everyone laughed, and the monk also laughed.
When I saw that the monk did not answer, I answered for the monk. She did not ask anyone, so she asked casually. I worked for the monk, and I answered. Just before then, our professor Ah-Li also gave a lecture, I I told her according to the directions taught by our professor A Xie Li, I said that the hot ring scar is mainly because of, of course, there are many kinds of causes, and I am based on A Xie Li's teaching.He said that because of us, we will become a bodhisattva in the future when receiving the bodhisattva precepts. Being a bodhisattva is very hard!Everyone must be mentally prepared!It's not that you can stand in the first row with a man's clothes and be called a Bodhisattva, and the position can be a little earlier, and then my seniority is relatively high, it's not like this!Being a Bodhisattva is prepared to take the suffering of all living beings, and to spoil all living beings. Do you know that spoiling?To be tortured to all beings.Be prepared for this!Otherwise you can't achieve the supreme bodhisattva resources.
Because being a Bodhisattva is about suffering, so today I will scald you to see if it hurts or not, and bear with it. This kind of pain also needs to be endured. Isn’t it true that all dharma can be endured, and if we have merit, you can’t endure it.I was just learning the Pure Land before, and I just heard the old monk teach that the Pure Land Method is so extraordinary. As long as I recite the Buddha, I can become a Buddha, wow!It's so simple! !How come the harder you practice, the harder you practice, and I feel cheated. It turns out that the Pure Land Method is not simple. Later, I met Master Shandao, oh!Okay!It turns out that simplicity is not simple. We haven't figured it out. It's simple and not easy. This is the truth. Looking at you, those who can cultivate are very simple, and those who don't know how to cultivate are very simple.But no matter whether it is simple or not, suffering is inevitable in the generation of sentient beings, but when you are in the process of representing the suffering of sentient beings, you don't have to suffer in your heart.
The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are in the ten directions and even the Earth Store Bodhisattva saves sentient beings in hell. He will not suffer, and he will be free from suffering. But we have just received the ordination, but the name Bodhisattva is not a true Bodhisattva, so we will still suffer, right.If you still feel bitter, I will give you some exercise first, give you a burn, see if you can bear it, and feel the bitterness of all sentient beings. At the same time, this is also a motive, oh!Really, the feeling after you are hot, you will feel that you are so great!When I used to burn them, many people said that, including the ring scars on my head, I burned twelve. I'm telling you about this when I have time. Twelve, the more you burn, the more painful it will become!I saw a bhikkhu hot twelve, and his tears flowed down. I believe it was not because he was moved to tears, but because of the pain (everybody laughs), it hurts too much!The other person asked me if it hurts like you are hot, and I said it hurts!We monks can’t speak lies!It doesn't hurt!If you ask a lot of fellow practitioners, he will tell you, "It doesn't hurt. It hurts when I recite the Buddha. It's strange if it doesn't hurt!"It's not that you have no nerves, but there is no pain, but there is still a pain in the pain, it is painful and painful, I am willing, I want to suffer for all living beings, I want to endure, I want to test whether I can bear this pain.You can’t stand it, you can’t do it, anyway, it’s already hot (Audience laughs), you can’t stand it, you can’t do it, so your skill will definitely improve, really!
Rely on the crowd and rely on the crowd. You don't want to close the door and want to work hard, learn the precepts, and recite the Buddha yourself. That's wrong!Those who can't cultivate, such a good aid, convenient aid, good people and bad people are our aids, we must take good care of it, so that we can improve, and improve more quickly.At that time, we actually burned the ring scar twice, once for the bodhisattva ring, and once for the monk ring. The kind of feeling in my heart, I really feel that I am so great!It was not that great before, and that's how self-confidence was born.After suffering a lot of hardships time and time again, I feel that I am getting greater and greater and more confident.The heart is full of boundless dharma happiness, this kind of merit, this dharma happiness comes from this way, not to escape hardships and enjoy the blessings by yourself.There are misfortunes in blessings, blessings in misfortunes, and blessings and misfortunes follow each other. As much blessing as you enjoy, how much pain you will have, I have also experienced it.
When I was a lady at home, I also enjoyed it!I have eaten my abalone and shark fin, Amitabha (everybody laughs)!I have already given them a super life. I have already repented. It is only two or three years. It is not a long time. But what should be played, what should be seen, travel abroad and stay in a five-star hotel. I have experienced both abalone and shark fin. After experiencing it, I myself have a natural root of goodness, I don't want to be greedy, and I soon get tired of it.The process is very happy, not bad, why don’t you eat the delicious food, and the root of my tongue is not broken, right? The solemn and comfortable house is good, why not?But you will not go greedy, because thinking about the consequences, it is really uncomfortable to eat, and you will get tired of eating too much.Your house is so big and you have to ask a servant to take care of it. He enjoys it better than me, and I have to give him money, isn’t it, isn’t that stupid?
Slowly we will see, we will see the truth from that process, and we will naturally not be so stupid and become slaves to the five desires and six dusts.Then in the process of suffering, I also experienced that when we were in Baolin, it was really very suffering!There is no bitterness in the dojo of Daofeng, the old monk of Shengyi. The bed that sleeps is two and a half feet, less than three feet. If you don’t sleep halfway, you will turn over. You must lie down auspiciously, but you still don’t know how to lie down when you wake up. , The posture has changed, but you are not honest.Then dozens of people slept in one room, just like the morgue, in that kind of deep mountain environment, this kind of suffering, I was there at the time, I didn't feel the suffering.Even those of us on Facebook who are more troublesome, I told them to go there for exercise. There were no other monks at that time.All in all, suffering and happiness go hand in hand, and we really have to experience it well.Let us think about it now, because I came here by myself, I am qualified to testify to you, indeed in a difficult environment, even in adversity, under the achievements of the grievances and creditors, our happiness arises from there.I have enjoyed those years in the past. It was a week. I opened a restaurant myself, a very high-class restaurant, in Tianmu, Taipei, which is a high-end residential area.The rent was more than XNUMX years ago. At that time, the rent was XNUMX yuan. The landlord counted me XNUMX yuan, which is only a small area of XNUMX square meters!
I invited chefs from Hong Kong, singers from the Philippines, bar counters from France, and waitresses were all college students. Then I was only responsible for calculating the money. I didn't do anything. I knew nothing. At that time, I ate big meals every day.I spent seven days a week and six days in my restaurant. I only did it for two or three years and didn't do it. I was just playing and enjoying those years. It didn't respond.We are a high-end western restaurant. We eat Chinese food. We have a big meal six days a week. We will eat lobster today, steak tomorrow, and what else will happen on the third day. That’s it. In less than a year, I was scared when I saw those.Then they have to go out on Sundays, people will line up to date me, invite me, chase me, and have dinner with friends on Sundays, and live such a life!
But in retrospect, it was really the hardest period of time, so I don't want to live this kind of life in two or three years!Not fun at all.Young, I always feel curious!Sing and dance, I have also drunk, Amitabha!Repent again.Drink beer, drink a bottle and get drunk.Then, after getting drunk, my head hurts. I have experienced it. I feel that this is really not a good thing. If you don’t want to keep the precepts honestly, then it’s okay to try it. After you suffer the sin, you will naturally come back obediently.Don't just hold it back, keep the precepts on the surface, and be blamed in your heart. No need!We can hold the precepts very happily. You can do as much as you have abilities and motivations.
It's the same even when I persuaded fellow practitioners before. You have to protect the Three Jewels. Most sentient beings are very greedy.We are monks, and we must give up all of them before we truly become monks, so that you can hold the precept of not catching gold and silver.It is difficult for ordinary people to give up, so it will be very painful. If you do charity, it will be very painful. Then I will advise everyone, it doesn't matter, you can do whatever you want, don't force it.You follow our real hard work and understand the truth. You know that you have cultivated the cause, and you will get the reward in the future. The Three Treasures are used to give you alms. You should not use free financial advisors, right?Then the future retribution is our own. After this principle is understood, if you take the money to protect the Three Jewels, you also have to thank the Three Jewels. With a grateful heart, thank the Three Jewels for planting blessed fields for you and cultivate this cause. Only then will you have retribution in the future. Yes, but it’s really hard to get the money out before you don’t understand.The Buddha's koan in the sutras talked a lot about how this hand can't be stretched out, his hand keeps shaking (Audience laughs), Buddha!The Buddha wants to save him by doing alms, there is no way!It’s horrible. Beings have a habit of greed, so we fellow practitioners on Facebook, I also scold them shamelessly. I said that I don’t charge tuition for teaching, and I didn’t provide a dime for a whole year. I scolded them shamelessly.I closed the door and scolded!Later, I couldn’t help it, so I decided how much to provide for me each month. I still practice treasures and seals instead of providing for me!Provide for me, and when someone says I love money, I'll stipulate it.
There are very few regulations, five hundred Taiwan dollars, not ringgits, how many fifty, fifty yuan!the above!More than fifty yuan a month.Later, they all did it obediently, because no one left, and they would not leave no matter how to scold or hit the incense stick. La!A small number of wise people usually know how to give and respectfully protect the Three Jewels, and can repair the cause by themselves, but most people can’t do it. Don't look at those wicked people and see what is right and wrong.There are people who say that many monks do not have any practice, and some people say this, the lay layman, the lay layman, said that there is no one in his eyes who has the practice, then how can you be respectful of the Three Jewels? It is impossible to get benefits from the law.

Then, isn't it your own suffering in the end?is not it.So be more optimistic, get close to good knowledge, pay more attention to good information, learn more from good knowledge, and don't always look at the shortcomings of others.There is still some time now, and our time is about the same. Let's quickly answer some fellow practitioners' questions.Because we still have some fellow practitioners this time, as well as some fellow practitioners from the Pure Sect Society of Malaysia, it is rare for them to come to participate in the ordination this time, so I will also give them an answer.The first question he asked was to follow the seventh article of the Buddhism disciples rules. The "Family Industry" said, "Tathagata family industry is passed down by the four people, the monk, the public and the vulgar, and the two are intertwined. Each security is based on the law, according to the will of the Buddha. "Fang Xiaozi", what he wrote is not very clear, that is, we also have verses in the rules of the benevolence disciple, you can memorize it, and he should write this verse.He asked that there is a teacher in our society, and he made a heart to teach us the fourteen lectures of Buddhism. May I ask if you can participate in the bodhisattva ordination, or call other masters to listen to the lecture.Yes, because we specialize in pure land and we don’t want to practice miscellaneous cultivation, but we can rejoice, because there is one in the bodhisattva vows. You have to listen to it, not every scene, but with the permission of your cause, it is also related to our major. Like this fourteenth Buddhist course, which is a basic course, common knowledge of Buddhism can be used.So if you think you have spare capacity, you can participate.It’s up to you whether you go to help, participate or not.It's not that you can't go there, or if you don't go, you won't be a bodhisattva.You can learn the precepts very happily, because I saw that there are some problems in him, because everyone doesn’t understand, so I’m very scared.Some make revolution, and all make divorce, and then they have their own attachments because of their daily routines, and they are all opposed to others, so that won't work.Some will really get divorced, some husbands do not receive the bodhisattva vows, and wives receive the bodhisattva vows. Where can you save so many?Of course not!Didn't everyone violate the precept?It's not that hard. You go to someone who is predestined with you, you have money in your wallet, and your boss is willing to cooperate.Some of you want to release your life, and the boss will not sell you, and some.Then you have enough money, and you know where to go to release your life, and you will not let it die.
Can I participate in a large-scale release?In fact, there is nothing wrong with it. You have to be sure, because each cause is different, you feel that you are happy, and then you also feel sure that you can really release your life without letting you die, so you can.
If the cause is not sufficient, you have not done it, and you have not violated the precepts. The cause is not sufficient.Because it is true that sentient beings cannot finish saving, and they will never finish saving. You will know that sentient beings never finish saving, so we can do whatever we want, do whatever we want, and do whatever we want.In this case, we will try our best to achieve Consummation, and there will be no need for pressure, right.Do your best to achieve Consummation, what if you can't do it?Be ashamed and repentant.My merit and wisdom are not enough, and then I have to keep on doing it, so that's it.
The fifth of the five precepts is the wine ring. Can I add some wine to the dishes to make the dishes more delicious?You see, this is to think about the branches, branches and leaves, you can add them, there are some concepts, just clarify it.Wine ring is itself, wine itself is vegetarian, wine is made of rice and fruits, it is not meat.But why is it listed as a serious sin? It is a condemnation to prevent you from committing the first four precepts, the four heavy precepts, and even the other precepts.Because you will have sex after drinking, so as long as you are not drunk, you will not violate the precepts, but it is best not to drink, because basically you will be drunk (Laughter).People who are drunk will say: "I am not drunk, I am not drunk." People who say that they are not drunk are already drunk. This is because we have seen too much and heard too much, so we have to formulate this precept, because it is true. It's too dangerous. You are not a saint. Usually you can't control yourself. You are drunk without knowing it.
You won’t get drunk when you cook with a little bit of it, but if you want to keep it clean, it’s best not to add it, because there is no need to add it. Why are you greedy for this appetite, right?Unless it is said that some doctors told you that you must use it, make a drug introduction, what must be done, if you are true, your parents want you to do this, and the cause and fate around you have to do it, okay!Then you can open the fate.Then you add a little wine, it will not be drunk on the one hand, and the wine will melt after cooking.But don't do it deliberately, let yourself be a little stressed, and don't say it too casually, because this is good for you, the more pure you hold, the better.Try not to eat including milk and eggs, but it does not matter if you want to eat it. It does not matter if you are not vegan. Remember on the Sixth Day and remember to hold it well on the Sixth Day.If you don't keep it, then you have to repent, which means you haven't kept this precept.Someone also asked me about the Sixth Day. I’m talking about it now because time is running out. If something happens on the Sixth Day, can I hold it on the next day or another day?No, no.Because the gods come to patrol on the XNUMXth day, it’s like that on these special days, there is a presidential government official who wants to patrol to see if the people are well-behaved. If you see him, he will give you extra points. So you have a special hold on these six days. Quit, has the effect of adding points, that's it.Therefore, on certain days, these good gods will come out to patrol. This is their work, their deacons.
Then if you can’t hold it that day, just give it up and give it up. For example, you have to keep the eight precepts on the Eight Passes and Six Fasts. For example, if you want to eat with someone, if you don’t eat after lunch, you can hold it. You give up to one person and give up to one person. You can say that someone, I have to give up this vow, like this.That means you have not violated the precepts. If you have renounced the precepts, you have not violated the precepts, so don’t worry about breaking the precepts.That’s because the eight fasts are only one day, so you only give up on the same day. You don’t want to give up the whole bodhisattva, or if you can’t, just focus on that one time. You don’t want to give up all of them. Then I will give up the whole six fasts. Don’t hold on, then it’s not good. We can hold on as much as possible. You don’t always have things, right?
Or if you go out, you can learn how to dominate the whole external karma and let the people around you follow you to become a vegetarian. If they can't follow you to become a vegetarian, that's okay. Don't prevent you from becoming a vegetarian.With everyone, you still eat your meat side dishes, and use your wisdom to overcome it as much as possible. If it really doesn’t work, then you can eat it!Just leave this one. You can't keep this precept on that day, and you won't break the precept.Try to follow your own destiny as much as possible to be able to keep your vigilance clean, slowly ascending, and slowly ascending, so there is no pressure to keep the precepts, and there is no need to be afraid, worry about this, worry about that.
He also said that disciples who received the Five Precepts should not sell pirated CDs, and what precepts would they commit if they sold it?You should all know it, right? (Public answer: guilty of the ring of stealing)Right, copying this is an infringement of intellectual property rights. No, this is a pirate ring.Of course, there are some special circumstances, because for example, there are some, such as the great virtue of the Patriarch, you see how the "Srangama Sutra" came to China, the "Srangama Sutra" is a national treasure!It is not allowed to be spread outside. It was Patriarch's great virtue who cut the meat, then secretly hid it in the meat and sewed it, brought it here, and spread it to China. Then he is willing to accept this result, so it is not impossible, kill the thief. All lusts can open up fate, if you can bear the retribution.The ancestor of Huayan Sect, Master Yuan Xiao, a Korean, he broke the licentious precept, and he became the ancestor later!There is a reward for breaking the fornication ring, and the monastery will not accept him, and then walk around like a beggar.However, he has his cause for breaking the precepts. In order to save a princess, he grew up with a childhood sweetheart, and then saves her to receive the bodhisattva precepts, receive the five precepts, and cultivate at home.

I don’t know if it’s Master Yongming Yanshou or which one. He is working as a public servant, so he steals money from the public and releases his life to do good deeds. Then, most of us, it’s best not to do good deeds. Fate, you can do as much ability as you have. Don't do business to make huge profits for others, to protect the Three Treasures, no need!Our Sambo does not collect money that is not net wealth.Otherwise, it will harm you to create karma. This is all about the desire to climb.The Great Bodhisattva is aware of karma, and when he feels sure, he will open the karma.So we try to learn as honestly as possible, there is no need to use pirated things, or to violate these precepts, the basic precepts, especially the basic precepts, to kill theft and adultery.
Then take the bodhisattva ordination to cook meat dishes for your family, can you try the taste?Yes you can!Try it if you want!It’s just that I’ve just talked about some principles. Take it by yourself. It’s okay if you don’t have a vegetarian diet. If you have a reason, try your best. When you want to try the taste, first ask yourself whether you like to eat secretly. Still have to try.If your kung fu has improved and it’s not bad, please encourage you. Now you are less greedy. If you are still very greedy, it’s okay. Just eat. Then you will feel ashamed, knowing that you are too bad. I played the incense stick, and finally admitted that I was a sinful life and death ordinary man, and then the body and mind softened. Before I said a sentence of two or three sentences, and after a long period of training, the superficial softness may not be true. She's compliant, just pretending, or I'll be driven away, I'll drop out of school.
Then slowly and for a long time, the body and mind are really soft, it is really not easy, so it depends on yourself!You have to see your own level first, and then feel ashamed. Then it will naturally be a motivation that will help you. You really have not grown for a long time, it doesn’t matter, the longer you delay, your ashamed will become more and more serious. , Suddenly you turn around, wow!The one hundred and eighty-degree prodigal son turned his head back, terrible! "Let go of the butcher knife and become a Buddha right away." It is possible to become a Buddha right away. It doesn't matter. I'm afraid that you won't learn, that you won't hold the precepts, that you won't cultivate, and that you won't be able to hold them well.Those who don’t practice, don’t take precepts, and don’t learn precepts. What people say is to find reasons for themselves. Those are all wrong concepts, and some are serious. I really want to hold on, and I also want to learn and work hard. Good guys, how and how to do it... The problem is that the concept is wrong, the method is wrong, and the effect of doing it simply cannot be achieved.

Only geniuses in the world of desire eat, so we try our best to do this, there is no such thing as impossible, it depends on whether you want it or not!There is nothing that cannot be done in keeping the precepts. It is entirely up to ourselves.It doesn't matter if we can't feel our heart, we can't help but feel ashamed to see how bad we are.It will improve one day!
As long as you don’t leave the Three Treasures, you can see people slowly improving, and one day you will feel that it’s no good. If you lose, you don’t lose. Let’s go!I rushed to the front at once, I was afraid that you would leave the Three Treasures, I just want to rely on myself, I am slow, I think I can do it by myself, then it's over!It must be degenerate. Beings have no power at all, so they are called ordinary beings. They are full of greed, hatred and ignorance. No one is not, so they must rely on the Three Jewels.
Can eggs, milk and honey be eaten?Honey is fine. Don't eat it after lunch, and don't eat eggs or milk.
There are rice worms when washing rice in life. After washing, there are rice worms. Can the larvae be discarded?Can it be destroyed?He wrote about elimination, don’t have the idea of elimination, it’s okay to throw it away, otherwise what do you want to do?If you want to save it, you can't raise it, right.If you dump it, just follow the normal procedure to deal with it, and then recite the Buddha's dedication.
Including what I just said, when you go to the vegetable market, you can’t let it go. It’s okay. You can talk to it, teach it, and recite the Buddha's dedication to it, but do it naturally and don’t let people think that you are evil. Talking to the chickens and ducks (everybody laughs), chanting words like this, if you learn Buddhism and learn weird things, you can do it naturally, and just do it with that intention.Because the merits of individual sentient beings are different, some will meet someone to save it, and some can't help it.
When planning a trip to sleep in a big bed on the Sixth Day, these and sleeping in a big bed can all be predestined.We Monk Guoqing also said that like staying in a restaurant, the feet of its bed are higher. You can’t saw off the feet of the bed. (Everyone laughs). If you really can, you can sleep on the ground as you like. , You can go to bed if you want to bed, this can be done, there is no way!So I said this precept is more outline, and I also directly teach you how to hold it. If you want a better cause, then you will switch jobs.In fact, the cause and effect are very clear. There is no absolute right or wrong. As long as you can bear the cause and effect, you are OK. You can make your own decisions. You can decide everything by yourself instead of asking the mage.How many predecessors do you have now, you can only do this, then you just do that, don’t you, do your best to make up for the others, recite the Buddha's destiny, etc. If you have a chance to change jobs, it’s better, it’s best to become a monk, just be afraid If you did not become a monk by fate, would it be cleaner?Is it up to your own cause and fate, your own motivation, and then the cause and effect are conceited, and you can't come, and you won't come.But even though we are reluctant to come, we can make our minds and improve step by step. This is something that every one of us can and should do, and what every Buddha disciple should do.
If I have free time in the company, can I handle my own affairs?Reading and searching for information on the Internet are tantamount to committing the crime of theft, but almost every one of my students commits the crime of theft, because they go online every day when they have time, but they go online for classes, they are not here to play, they themselves I work hard by myself.They all know that they know that they will find time to make up for it. For example, when they work, they will work harder, be responsible, and make up for it. Karma is conceited, and you should take care of it yourself, because some things must be opened up. You are not rigid. It's not that this one doesn't work, that one doesn't work.You only need to know what you are doing, you are doing what you should do, and then how do you make up for it, in all aspects to complete it, try to complete it, so that’s it, it’s not so rigid. , On the surface it is useless, that is the elementary class.
He said, can I use shampoo for Baguanzhai, these scented things?Try not to, but if it's just like that, it doesn't matter.This is because many temples nowadays, many of them now buy a large jar of shampoo, which has more or less scent. When playing the Buddha Seven and passing the precepts, they will not change the shampoo or body wash.So if you want to buy that tasteless soap yourself, it’s even better!It’s like this in principle now. It’s okay to learn these details slowly. Don’t put pressure on it. The most important principle to share with you is that we must "learn from suffering". I just talked about this because you want There is real happiness when there is suffering. You have to do it before you can understand what I am saying. Because I have walked through, I didn’t tell you to really endure hardship, but I taught you to find real happiness, so I told you to suffer. Find real music in it.
In the enjoyment of the five desires, there is no real happiness but suffering, so telling you not to enjoy pleasure is to tell you not to seek hardship. That's what it means. This concept needs to be reversed first.So life should be as simple as possible, the simpler the better, and the best way is to become a monk (laughter).Nothing to be a monk!Let it go, but of course not everyone can do it, it's too difficult!I just said that I have to shave two and run away right away, right? It's too difficult.Because this obstacle is huge, it takes a lot of good roots and blessings to truly become a monk. Otherwise, there is no way to be satisfied. I also want to help them. There is no way for all kinds of karma.But if we try to go in this direction, let our life be as simple as possible. If you understand the truth, you will know that this is enjoyment, and you will be more active in doing it.
The more thoroughly you give up, the more enjoyable life, the more thoroughly you give up, the more real happiness you will get, and then on the other hand, it is to grow our compassion, especially for those who receive the bodhisattva vow.Be sure not to look at other people's shortcomings, because after we receive the bodhisattva vows and obtain the vows from the three karma, we only have good dharma in our hearts. Just now, the evil dharma from outside has been turned into a good dharma, and there is no evil dharma.All the people are so cute, and the innocent creditor only came to save me in an annoying way.It seems to be very annoying, but in fact, he also came to save me. He is still very annoying in his habits. Everyone still quarrels, but their inner feelings are different. They will not really hate this person anymore. If you are the same, then you are truly a bodhisattva.Not only to maintain, but also to cultivate compassion.

Both of these two processes can make you feel very moved, and your heart can be greatly sublimated, so we are at this moment. After we listen to it, we will think about it. Collect the six faculties, recite the Buddha well, and prepare for our acquired precepts wholeheartedly. We must have a good sense of inaction. It can accompany us throughout life and generations, without losing it, until we become a Buddha!
