It's really a treasure!These listeners in Canada, just like listening to our master abbot, are really rare treasures, so to have this cause and condition really needs blessings.Some people are mature and want to learn Buddhism with their own good roots, but they are too busy at work or some family responsibilities make us involuntarily, so that we can truly have a karma and we are willing to learn. It is indeed not easy to have a lot of karma, let alone Our fellow practitioners who immigrate to Canada are relatively few, and there are relatively few Chinese, so you are really treasures, we are the three treasures, and you are also treasures.

Yesterday, some fellow practitioners also went to the Zhonghua Temple to participate in joint meditation. Yesterday it was extraordinary.Yesterday was our first Saturday Pure Land Dharma lecture. The training time was two hours, and the lecture time was one and a half hours. Finally, we also took everyone to pray for half an hour.I saw that many fellow practitioners passed the pass. The so-called pass means that our standard is to cry, praying is to cry, and to take everyone out of karma. I heard that many fellow practitioners are very sensitive, and then cry harder. The higher the score, the stronger the induction, because this is a kind of moving, and this is not sad, because I am too experienced, I will cry most.We are taking precepts. Last time I mentioned that we took precepts for a month and a half, and we prayed for two hours every day. I cried from beginning to end, but the kind of crying is not burdensome in my heart. It is like detoxification. To eliminate our inner worries and karma, so I said I would ask you to bring a handkerchief, and then we have to cry for our standards to be considered qualified.

Yesterday, everyone’s performance was pretty good. It shows that our fellow practitioners here really have good roots, but the predestined relationship is relatively poor, which means that the predestined relationship is relatively poor. On the one hand, you may not have enough time on the one hand, and on the other hand, you are spreading the Fa. The Master of the Kingdom is not so often able to meet this predestined condition. It takes us a dozen or so hours to fly from Taiwan to a plane, so this predestined condition is not easy to be satisfied.If you say that the fate is better, then you should also eliminate some difficulties yourself, you have to take care of this!If you really make this wish, make this wish in your heart, and if you have this wish, the bodhisattva will arrange the cause and fate for you. This is the feeling of sentient beings, and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas should respond.So I took a look at the fellow practitioners here and found that the root of goodness is really good, but the predestined condition is not very good, there are still many obstacles, and the good predestined condition is not very sufficient.

This is that our fellow practitioners have to make a vow. From our heart, we pray for the Three Jewels and make a vow, and then this cause and condition will gradually be fulfilled.If this is the case, it will help, and learning is easy to achieve. Otherwise, in this saha world, it is really going forward and backward, and finally a little moved. This bodhichitta has begun to sprout a little bit, but after two days, oh!What's at home!Or the former kinsmen and creditors came forward again, and the devil in my heart has also accumulated a lot since the beginning of the robbery, so I took another nine steps at once, and finally took one step further and then took another nine steps. This is It is a common phenomenon, so we have to make our own minds, we have to pray for the blessings of the Three Jewels, and feel better to help us achieve Dao Karma.

The so-called seeking method is a requirement!Do we have the mentality of seeking?If you don’t ask, there is no inductionAll sentient beings have feelings. The so-called feeling is to pray with sincerity, and pray for you to be able to feel the response, the response and response of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.Many people now have no help, because they have not prayed or made a vow. Why?He waits for someone to come to the door, like a tutoring school teacher, and then he will coax you a bit, and then he will often speak nice things in the back all day long.Most people are not very good at learning, why?If there are many teachers and few students, it will naturally have this trend. It seems that the audience will benefit from it, but it is actually very dangerous. You will lose the attitude of seeking the Fa. You don’t know how to cherish it, and you will not be proactive. Then you In this case, it's difficult to generate sensitivity and follow the Taoist mind, so of course!These gradually real good aids will become less and less, which is not a good thing.

Just like our fellow practitioners here, all of them are treasures!It seems that everyone needs to be taken care of carefully, and I am afraid that if I am not careful... it finally sprouted, and immediately withered again.But generally speaking, it looks like this, but in fact, in our way, you teach a child like you teach a child. You teach a child like the one-child policy in mainland China. Everyone is treated like a baby. Of course, we have to be very careful. You can take care of him and nurture him, but you can’t just follow and pet him, this will not have good results, so the more you need to tune, the more you need to tune, you can truly achieve. If you want to admire, you must admire. Repairs must be repaired. We are not familiar with it now, so we dare not repair it with you. If we wait for repairs, we will run away. There is no one who has come to solemnly, so that won't work.But if someone really teaches you, it means that you are a magic weapon, that you are truly a blessed person, and that you will definitely grow up. If someone dares to talk about you, especially the teacher, or your parents, or Elders!The same is true for those who are willing to train us, so we must be able to be taught. This kind of person is really the most blessed.

Yesterday we had a special lecture on Pure Land at Zhonghua Temple. We temporarily changed it to "Amitabha Buddha's Forty-Eigh Vows." Some fellow practitioners were a little disappointed. Although the "Forty-eight Vows" was very good, he came to listen specifically for this topic. Yes, so someone raised such a situation, so I will also explain here by the way. In fact, the "Forty-Eigh Vows" is the most important. We also talk about the Pure Land Method, but the content of this topic will actually be brought into the "Forty-Eight Vows." Generally speaking, it is the same, but the term is different.And the other thing is, if it happens that the topic of our announcement this time has something you are particularly interested in and you need to answer, we will arrange a half-hour time on Sunday. You can also directly ask questions about your doubts. I I can answer it with you as much as possible, so although yesterday’s topic we talked about was "forty-eight wishes", we changed it to "forty-eight wishes" to be more in-depth, and then it also included the content of this topic.

This cause and condition can be said to be better, so it is also to observe a requirement of our fellow practitioners and think that everyone should work harder on this core and most important part.Because in fact, all the Dharma is based on the "forty-eight vows", and the topics we do in the Pure Land Method are all developed from this "forty-eight vows." Then we will come back to focus on this focus on firepower, and put it on the root. Drill deep, if you learn this, you can truly become a systematic concept of your own. You are easier to become enlightened, and it is also easier to become enlightened in the Pure Land Method.For example, if we are in school, if we finish a textbook systematically, then you have a very complete concept of the scope of this textbook, right?

Then if you spend the same time but you go outside to listen to the lecture, you listen a little bit here and a little bit there, wow!It seems that I have listened to many celebrity lectures. In fact, those of us who study the scriptures know very well that this so-called lecture, or a book written by a general writer, is a thick book. His emphasis is only two or three sentences, only two or three sentences. It can be developed. It is very profitable. There are so many thick words in a book. In fact, many of them are embellished words. For some general speeches, how much is a ticket for it?Five hundred to one thousand, I said Taiwan dollar!It's not Canadian dollars, it's very expensive!But in fact, for a theme he talked about, maybe we can only condense it by two or three sentences, and he can use it. Then our "forty-eight wishes" are the essence of the entire Pure Land. Do you understand?We turned this theme into "The Forty-Eighth Aspirations" but it is deeper and more complete.

Then you count as much as you can absorb, and everything is better than just listening to the topic. Why?Because the topic is for someone who already has a fairly basic basis for comparison, he can easily have enlightenment, he can listen to some key points, and then he can focus on his own needs, and he can be able to go deep in that part.But if you don't have a complete concept of the "Forty-eight Great Aspirations" or the Pure Land Method, you don't have this foundation. If you don't have a foundation, listening to some topics will not help you very much.It's not easy to have enlightenment, and of course it will help!As long as you have the heart to listen, and then we will share with you very seriously, you may also have some gains, but it is not that solid, so it is best for everyone to be motivated. We arrange this course to be a systematic teaching , It's not that I have a relationship with you, I encourage you to make you feel like this, it's not!It is aimed at passing this theory and practice methods to you. You try to absorb it. You may not be able to use up the things you give you in three or five years. Try to give it to you, but it depends on how much you are willing to absorb. You can do whatever you want without any pressure.

Today's course is based on the basics, and we can use "life etiquette and rituals" that we can use now.So our title later is "Practical Buddhism". This name is very broad. We will talk about the topic first today: "The rules of rituals that should be paid attention to when entering the Three Treasures." Because we are Buddhist disciples, what we have to learn is in Buddhism. You need to understand some basic rules of entry and exit, and you will use them after you learn them.In fact, if you learn one, you just make one, and then maybe you haven't learned a few, and they all seem to be older than the old ones. Why?Because many veterans don’t understand it, few people teach this course after XNUMX or XNUMX years of entering Buddhism. This seems to be very shallow. Many masters like to talk about emptiness, and they speak very mysteriously, so that everyone can’t understand, and then watch. He speaks very well, and seems to have cultivated a lot, so now there are many people who talk about emptiness.But think about it, he was happily talking, but you all seem to understand, and you don’t know how to use it when you go back? Then we should be honest, and follow the precepts in life. This is also a precept. If you learn a little bit, you can use it right away. If you learn a little bit, you can use a little bit. You will feel a sense of accomplishment.

I’ll give a lecture later. I don’t know if I will fall asleep. Because it’s easy to sleep at this time, so you can have merit in coming here to sleep.It doesn't matter if you fall asleep, this is a solemn dojo, really, there are blessings, this is what our old monk Jingkong said.I can have this heart!And I’m getting older, like me, I’m also middle-aged. After forty years, this body is really involuntary. It’s very obvious, as if you have reached a peak, suddenly. It slips down every now and then. It's really obvious from the physical and mental strength, and it's not as good as before.So we can still be motivated and dare to walk in, this courage is very commendable, like I used to be most afraid of sitting in the front in class, why?I can’t doze off, my eyes are always open and it’s painful, because I’m the first to be seen when I doze off, there’s nowhere to hide, so I struggle for a long time every time, if I want to sit in the front I don’t want to go, because dozing off is painful Things, you can't sleep, so we can all understand this situation. As long as we work hard, we have merit. This is true.
