So yesterday... Last night, our abbot, Master Zhaoxu, came back from this Chinese Chaoshan.This time the merits were completed, and it seemed that the person had lost a lot of weight, but he said no.It's very hard, I still dare not make my mind to go to the four famous mountains.But this time there are also some old Bodhisattvas who have come to listen to the scriptures today. They are eighty years old and come back in good health. It shows that our master has taken good care of them.Such a trip is really hard, not to mention going to mainland China.Mainland China, I used to go often; my impression is that it is very tired and very hard! The people are crowded in all aspects, if you don’t know the way, there is no really relevant person to help you settle down, I’m afraid ... Not only can you not be able to travel in a relaxed manner, you may also encounter a lot of difficulties, which are all possible; and you are temporarily sick again, and it is very troublesome for you to be uncomfortable.

So this time the itinerary is also very successful, and everyone is coming back happily.As soon as we came back, we were going to come here again today to "monitor". He was very polite, he said to learn.Oh, this one really admires me! A master bhikkhu, in our Sangha-bhikkhus, bhikshunis, male laymen, female laymen, this is a generation; we must respect each other, and then we must know what generation we are. , What are the rules.Then our elders, we don't use our seniority to suppress the people below, no.On the contrary, we ourselves are very humble, so that the people underneath... will be more respectful! That's how our Master Zhaoxu is.So, this is from the bottom of our heart, we will have respect.

On the other hand, we must also know the rules we should learn, and the etiquette we should follow is still to be done.This is our personal self-cultivation, no matter if he cultivates well or not; whether others are well or not has nothing to do with us.So this lesson of ours is to learn this rule.Many people also want to do it. They have good roots, but you don't know how to implement etiquette.So although it seems to be a very shallow course, everyone really needs to study well. If you learn one, you have to make one.

Don’t think about such small things...Like I just told the guardian inside me, I said: You, that is, we have a couple here, young people, I will tell the women, I said: I found out Your husband is making progress! Where do you see it? I said: When I first came, he didn't take the initiative to greet me, his personality...Oh, he's very unrestrained! My parents didn't teach me since I was a child, and I didn't even go home. It’s like parents being dutiful sons. Oh, you’re back! Have you eaten? This is a very common phenomenon... I never wanted to say hello to my elders.Didn’t we talk about it in the previous few lessons? "You must advertise, you must return to the face"! "Return to face" You have to take the initiative when you come back: Oh, I'm back... Or if you see the elders, take the initiative to call Say hello and report your safety! Eh, I didn’t expect that after I talked about it, it seems to have changed a little! I’ll take the initiative to greet you soon.Of course, it doesn't seem to be very natural and stable, but this is the beginning.

So don’t hear that Master’s teaching is so simple... Our old monk Jingkong has advocated the "Disciple Guidance" in the past few years. This is a short paragraph of the "Disciple Guidance".It seems that they have been advocating for a long time and there is no special content? The question is whether we have started to do it and whether we have developed a habit.When you do it, even if it's just a little action, the people around you will feel it very strongly, eh think you are beginning to change! It used to be: very capricious, I can do whatever I want, or say , It’s not intentional, anyway, my personality is like this; then people think you are not sensible enough, and you don’t understand etiquette! You didn’t do what you should do.

Like we received the bodhisattva vow this time, many of the bodhisattva vows are "doing".This "doing" means that if you fail to do what you should do, you are breaking the precepts.Each of us has our own role in society: when a son has the role of being a son, when a junior has the role of being a junior, being a wife, a husband, a child, a parent... More duty.Then you did not do what you should do. Did you make a mistake, right? So you must learn it.We have to learn no matter how small the rules are, and then we have to do them.Like the example I just mentioned, what is the difference between whether you are willing to do it and not willing to do it? Although this matter is small, it actually reflects whether our inner respectful heart and your strong heart can begin to soften.Are you willing to transform yourself and improve yourself? This key point, the impact is very meaningful.

The impact is very significant.Can you grow up? Start from this small place.You really want to do it, even if

You just did a little bit, but it has actually reflected a big change in your heart.So, we learn a little and do a little.Although you were uncomfortable at the beginning, you even went home to say hello, and you all... greet and care about your elders, but you didn't start to learn to form a habit, then suddenly you took the washbasin and said: "Mom, I'll help you wash your feet." It's strange that she wasn't scared to death by you! Right? Start from a small place.You have to learn both big and small, and count as much as you learn.

In fact, it doesn't matter whether it is important or not for us, it depends on the other person.In fact, the other party thinks that you are just doing a little thing, and they feel: It's comforting, you are really changing.So, when we study any law, we don’t want to look at it from our own point of view. What is the law: "Oh! That Tan Xuan said wonderful is the standard... I am a college student!" Then, this... If it is In this case, what you learn is the study of remembrance, which may not be truly useful in life; you can't make the life around you happy, and you can't achieve real merits by yourself.He came to teach us.Our Master Zhaoxu has his characteristics, because everyone is different, his characteristics are that he is very popular, adaptable and flexible.So he brings an event, and many people have to sign up to participate. This is his characteristic, and we must learn from him.

(XNUMX) On the four generations of Buddhism

Men, like what we are talking about in Buddhism now: Bhikkhus and Bhikkhuni, there is a generation difference.Then some women are unbalanced...Like we are in Taiwan, we have many great bhikkhus in Taiwan, eh, the professors of this research institute, this random family are all university graduates.I have also studied in graduate school, although it is not very similar.That is, the overall level, in the past ten or twenty years, the bhikshuni in Taiwan, this is the world, and Taiwan is the first.This achievement of the bhikshuni, his career, the various achievements of his practice...none of them seem to be inferior to the men.For example, Master Cheng Yen from Tzu Chi, wow! He is an international representative.There are also many such great masters and professor-level figures in academia.So before, there was an incident in which Taiwan said that it would abolish the "Eight Faithfulness".Well, in fact, as far as I am concerned, I personally will not comment on whether it is good or bad, right or wrong; it's just that personal wishes are different and personal demands are different.

But as far as I am concerned, I am true, I am willing to respect the monk.Why? Because this was explained by the Buddha.The monks live in the world and lead the Sangha.The bhikshuni also has the responsibility of educating sentient beings, but they must respect and cooperate with each other.Then the bhikkhu’s own karma is usually a little better and lighter than our women, and then the whole leadership of the Sangha will be more solemn.Of course there are some situations... Some bhikkhus, he also does not practice very well, and then he uses his power to suppress others, and then treats the women, even the male and female laymen, as his servants, and listens to his commands.That's not right, people don't accept you! We must convince people with virtue.Just like our parents, we must love and care for our children, and our children must be filial to their parents, right? This is relative. "Father is kind and filial to the child." If your father is not kind, of course your children cannot be filial to you. This is relative.So it should be mutual respect, and then each has its own characteristics.

So I will definitely not be a woman in the next life.Women are really karma, which is relatively deep and heavier.Of course, women also have the characteristics of women, and there are also the characteristics of the resident in the family. In a certain way, everyone is first, unique, and there is no level-each person has his own characteristics! If you do, of course your society must have order, respect and humbleness, and then stick to each other's own standards, so that the order will not be disordered.This is also from this to show our own self-cultivation; if you don't follow the rules, how balanced is your heart? It is also limited! Unless you have special causes and special demands, then you can have some special practices, We do not comment on this.Otherwise, each of us should abide by the rules, learn the rules, and abide by the rules.

Just looking at it this way, it is easier to doze off, but there is no! So I must admire you.Okay, so today’s topic, because it is necessary to cooperate with our lawyer Guoqing’s preaching of the precepts and the Buddha III, so I’ll take the topic we’re going to talk about on October XNUMXth, the concepts and attitudes we should have in studying precepts and precepts, and return There is a lecture on October XNUMXth, the eight fasts and the ten precepts of novice monks, I will study with you today in advance.Then, if we still have time, we will continue to talk about the rituals and etiquette in the lives of Buddhist disciples on September XNUMX, which we didn't talk about last time.Because the time is often too much, everyone is very dedicated, and the stage is mixed, and the Buddha is blessed! So let's look at the situation.So today we can talk about at least two themes, because it is enough to master the key points, and both long and short talks are fine.Because these two themes are very important, before we learn the precepts, before passing on the precepts, we should also learn more.

In the last class, we have already introduced to you the precepts of the eight-pass fast in the "Vatican Net Sutra" on Wednesday, so I will not go into details about the eight-pass fast, but I will briefly mention it today.The focus is on the ten commandments of novice monks, because these are very related, so we merge them and learn together.The eight precepts, let’s kill the thief and illicit alcohol before! It’s the same as the five precepts: don’t kill, don’t steal, don’t commit adultery, don’t speak falsely, and don’t drink alcohol.Then the sixth article: Don’t wear scented flowers, don’t use scented oil, don’t sing and dance, don’t watch and listen.This is in the ten precepts of novice monks, which are separate and are two precepts, so they are merged into the sixth precept here.So the seventh is not sitting on a tall bed, and the eighth is not eating out of time.So it seems that there are eight precepts, but in fact there are nine precepts.Then add a rule not to hold the gold and silver life like a treasure, it is equivalent to the ten commandments of novice monks.Do you understand this? So this is the goal of our learning.Why did the Buddha prescribe this eight precepts in the first place? It is specifically for the lay members. First, let you hold them for at least six days a month. This is stipulated in the bodhisattva precepts.This is very inconvenient, just like we are now a monk, we also want to open up fate.But even if it is inconvenient, you can learn it.How to learn? Give up slowly.Slowly give up... If you have no money, don’t touch it! What if you don’t have money? No food? Don’t worry, the Buddha and Bodhisattva will make arrangements for you.

(XNUMX) Destiny to become a monk

I was like this before, and I share my own real experience with you.When I was studying Buddhism, I talked a little bit beforeOver.That is, I encountered it by accident... On the Internet, on this satellite TV station, I heard our old monk Jingkong speak "The Sutra of Infinite Life".I heard him say at the time that when you rebirth in Paradise, you don’t need to cook or wash the dishes after eating. Wow! I said this is what I need most.I’m tired with three meals a day! I don’t know what to eat?Wash the dishes again after eating.For me, I was only in my twenties at that time. For me, it was... no work.Because I don't know how to do business, I can't speak, and I don't think the money is suitable, I don't know how to persuade him to buy this thing, and I can't speak.So I am not suitable for living in this world. I really have to be a monk and let the ten parties provide for nothing. Then I also do the obligation! We also do charity, and then achieve each other, there is no such problem.If I really want to throw me into the society, I really can't survive.

Then, at that time, when I posted this... I probably made a wish for less than ten minutes after watching it, and made a wish myself.Before that, I had never heard of Dharma and had no concept at all, just to be reborn in the Paradise of Bliss and start learning Buddhism! I made a vow by myself, and no one persuaded me.Because it’s so good, although it’s hard to believe it seems to be fake, but I would rather it be true, I hope it is true, I use this one... Then if we, because this is our own intention , I don’t need to be promoted.Then I started. In less than half an hour, I went to learn to buy a set of "Infinite Life Sutra" and started K.It is equivalent to half-retreat, and there is hardly any time for a month, at most it is to buy something, very diligent and diligent.After studying for a month, I felt very happy in chanting and worshipping the Buddha! In addition to reciting the Buddha, we should do what the scripture teaches us to do.The first one is the same for anyone or a monk at home. What is the first homework to do? She, right? Listen carefully! If you haven’t started this precept, this is the great precept. If you haven’t started Being you is not really practicing. You have not started practicing. You have listened to the scriptures for ten or twenty years. No matter how well you master the method of emptiness, it is false. There is no way to be truly useful. The real practice starts with renunciation.To what extent can you become a Buddha? If you give up, everything is gone.At the beginning, you have to give up money first, so the most important one of the novice ten commandments is that you can't accumulate money, you have to give up.I did the same at that time.There are two kinds of alms-giving for this house: one is for internal financial alms and the other is for external financial alms.I set up a circulation agency by myself, and I repay the loan! I took the loan to buy a house on the first and second floors, and then became a circulation agency.Because you need to have a place, you need a place, and then all the magic weapons of the old monk are circulated, because I only met the old monk with a good knowledge at that time! I took a loan and I still had some money, so it was nearly two or three. Years, I kept going out and didn’t enter. In the end, although I still have income every month, interest income is not enough, after two or three years, I probably spent almost the cash... Then sell the house.I am still very happy to sell the house. Why? Because I have not been free in the two or three years, and I have had a very fulfilling life.I didn't say that for the sake of living... I'm still at home! I live in a direction similar to that of a monk. I didn't waste my time for three meals.Although everyone has no choice, you still have to set aside a work time for your survival, but I am, I say there is no waste because I am all devoted to practice, either listening to the scriptures or reciting the Buddha, and then practicing blessings.I took this magic weapon out to form a relationship, I put it at seven or eight o'clock! I also drove out and put it here and there like sales. This is a donation of internal wealth and volunteer work.Then we have to invite magic weapons and seals. This is a donation of money, a donation of foreign money.Then after two or three years, there is no way, no money, sell the house, and then the magic weapon will be circulated at will.But, I just started looking for a job, because I have to face it. My blessings seem to be used almost the same. In fact, I am not wasting them. My blessings are planting some causes, but the results have not yet come out. .I'm not just squandering things like eating, drinking, and having fun! It's home, home, and home... Then they are all used in the part related to practice.Then I didn’t think in my heart what should I do if I have no money? Or I have to plan how much money I want to make again. If you want to make a lot of money, then you definitely don’t have a lot of time to practice. Many laypeople have encountered this too. problem.

Later, I found a very simple job, and then I still spend most of my time on these related operations, like listening to the scriptures, reciting the Buddha, and circulating magic weapons.After a while, Master himself called me a monk.I never expected to become a monk.Because our old monk tells us that you can cultivate better at home.Do you want to recite Buddhism? Because your family feels suffering in the world, you won’t, that is to say, you will be less slack, and renunciation will be stronger.In fact, we didn't expect to be a monk, but we just went to the dojo and visited the dojo to see if there is a new magic weapon to invite home.As a result, this one in the permanent residence... After shaved, she can be with the old monk, because she is the disciple of the old monk! I think they are all a family, the old monk has also been sealed off! Then I asked if I can follow the old man By the monk's side? If not, isn't it the same for me to become a monk? I have a simple idea. Anyway, I am going to the Paradise of Bliss. Then the master said yes, I can shave it, and there will be a ceremony just three days later.I had already said that the two seniors were going to shave, but I got in there and hitchhiked up.But Master doesn’t shave people casually. There are already a few volunteers who are ready to become a monk. They have done them for one, two or three years. Master has not helped them shave. I am the first three women. one.Why is it so, so consummated? That's because I have already given it up.The first one is that I don’t have a scorpion, and then I’m talking about our two or three years of cultivating. Master can also see that we are very corresponding to this master, and we are also learning the Fa with the old monk. It is very corresponding... Various causes and conditions, the most important thing is that we have to prepare first.At that time, when the talk was good, Master asked the volunteers to take me to the place where I lived to arrange my clothes, and the boxes would be sorted out!

(XNUMX) Practical practice starts with the money

Do you see how many things you have now? Say it yourself! I don't know how many things are cleared out just because they are not used.Now, after listening to the class, go back and quickly clean up those that are not needed. Donate the donation that should be donated, give up the donation that should be donated, and do it! You have not gone to this most basic substance, and you have not done what you should do. Where to practice? Give up this money, which is the hardest part, to give up.This is because many laypeople have no way to break through.If you really break through, you definitely have a karma for becoming a monk! Unless your other half won't let you go.Then you can be a layperson, and then you can work as a Dharma protector, and you can die if you recite the Buddha.If you want to talk about diligence and practice, you have to start learning this condition.You don’t wait until you become a monk.You have to do it first, give up, and give up to a certain level before you can become a monk.Otherwise, if you want to become a monk, you will not go well.I said before that there was a female congregation who wanted to be a monk with me a few months ago. She donated XNUMX million and I don’t want to. I persuaded her not to be a monk, and please don’t go to other places to be a monk. If you become a monk, you will harm you. Fall into hell by yourself.Although she felt that I had to give up, I observed that the thoughts and motives were not right, which would cause a lot of trouble.So this is some normal right view, right knowledge and right view, you have to practice it bit by bit. It's not a sudden whim. Hey, then I seem to really want to do this. You do it superficially, and then , Oh! Boast, what do I want to do... There will be a lot of wrongs and wrongs in the future! Have you used gratitude from the bottom of your heart, and the Three Jewels of gratitude to guide us on the correct path of monasticism... This is different.For example, I was fully committed at the time. Although I didn't do much, I only spent a few million in those few years.However, the proportion is always full.After that, it’s also a job. I’m not greedy. No, it’s like I don’t have enough money. Then I didn’t think of how to accumulate as much as I can. So the job search is very simple and it’s not a high salary. The whole heart is placed on the monasticism.In this case, we have no time to spare! Real practitioners don’t need to plan for yourself how much money I have to save. There is no such thing.If you don’t have money, you can do internal wealth donation! Right? Are you a volunteer! The dojo can also protect you.

 (XNUMX) The phenomenon of the decline of the precepts during the end of the law

...And have to ask the mage to fill up the scene.So it seems to be the same on the surface: Hey there is a master! In fact, it is the layman who controls and controls the monks, and then he is vying for fame and fortune, and he has not made good use of the donations of the believers.The person involved only knows to what extent you have achieved it... We are not targeting any one person, but there are many periods of Dharma end in this situation.So many of our classmates and seniors, he really has no choice. He can't bear to see the upside-down phenomenon in the Three Treasures Sangha. There is no place for monks to place orders! Wherever they go, the family members are in charge of them! He doesn't understand people either. There is a big difference between supporting and controlling.

For example, if I want to eat, the believer who eats has to make offerings, and then he will not ask us what we want to eat. He thinks that I want to give you what you want to eat.Isn’t the two different? If you have respect in your heart, you have to understand what Master needs, and then you have to obey. No matter whether you can understand what the Master has confessed, you have to obediently complete it. .

Don't doubt, you are not memorizing cause and effect, you just need to be obedient.If it's all according to your own will, it won't work if Master doesn't accept it. This is called control.This is not a supporter! Hey sometimes he insists you eat this and we don’t eat it, it’s really impossible.Afraid of offending him.Oh, so hard, I want to ask you not to come and protect me, right? It’s painful, right?

Our children can't be filial to their parents like this. You really have to care about him from the bottom of your heart, respect him, and see what he needs.Even sometimes you think he really feels bad about eating this food. When you want to give him good advice, you have to make him happy to accept it.You can't do it on your own, force it, it's not respectful.

If you force the parents... the overall harmony.Nowadays, monks everywhere are cultivating patience. Let me tell you, the real loss is you! It took money to protect and time, but as a result, it didn’t achieve the merits and created karma.There is a little bit of blessing, because you have to cultivate the cause, but you have no merit, and the blessing is very small, because you have suffered too much and have no respect. This is control.

It’s really indigestion for people to eat! I would rather not eat and feel comfortable, but I have to eat it, I have to accept it, can everyone experience it? What is protection? What is control? It must be from the heart, because since It is a monk who leads the crowd, so you have to respect him truly!

Don't say on the surface: Hey, we have a master in the crowd! You come to the dojo to support, come to donate, we are like the law here.Dharma and monk have all.The result? All monks have to take the test. What scriptures are we going to teach... Of course, I am not controlled by others, we can see it.However, in some places, even monks and monks have to listen to him about what they eat, what they use, what scriptures are taught, and how the dojo works.

Hey, you don’t understand the precepts. Where do you want to lead this dojo? Right? It becomes a world enterprise? It doesn’t have the spirit of Buddhism in it.This is actually an invisible assassin who is corrupting Buddhism and creating huge karma.

(XNUMX) The correct concept of holding money precepts

The monks can’t do anything about it, they usually want to cultivate forbearance. If you don’t cultivate forbearance, people will say that you have no practice.Why are monks so unwilling... There is no selflessness, and it's not easy to follow.So because of my personality, I have a habit of cleanliness! I am a B Virgo, but I have a little habit of cleanliness in my personality. I happen to be a practitioner. I can tell the truth and speak clearly.Therefore, I am not suitable to go too Hengshun sentient beings, nor can I build a temple, because you must follow sentient beings to build a temple.

I think our classmates are seniors, and I really admire them too.It's really not easy to make this kind of wish! I don't want to do this kind of thing.The dojo we are in charge of in Taiwan is not open.I am not open for anyone to come, there is no activity, we just meditate, we are very simple, or you will be scolded by me when you come.Sure! Then don't scold at all, because I don't want to offend people either.is not it?

When I scold someone, I scold someone on the podium. Anyway, I am not aiming at anyone, and you can learn if you understand it. If you don’t understand, I’m doing my part.So I must tell the truth.I don’t want to tell you: Oh, Hengshun sentient beings... Of course it is also good for you to cultivate blessings, because he thinks that you can’t teach him and he dare not teach you. It’s not that people don’t want to teach, so we do it ourselves, really Learn to be smart. On the one hand, you really have to do your family's duty, protect the Three Jewels, cultivate causes for yourself, and cultivate blessings and wisdom!

On the one hand, you have to really start practicing. From your own, the most difficult thing to give up is this money ring. Start giving up at home.It's up to you where you want to give up? Of course you have to give up to protect the Three Jewels! That has to be said.This is not my family’s own words, because when you go to protect the world, I will tell fellow practitioners how to do it very concretely and clearly.If you go to do charity in the world, for example, if you see a beggar, and you see a monk begging there, you don’t have to think about whether he is true or not.Our current compassion has nothing to do with him. Don't think about it so complicated.

For example, there happens to be a charity organization in this world to collect donations from you. If you think you have a relationship with him, you can do it! You can do it anyway.But we have a plan. The Buddha told us how we should allocate our wealth to the disciples in the family.One is the expense of the family, one is the working capital of the business, and one is the cost of operation.Next is to protect the Three Jewels.

To truly protect the Three Treasures, you are cultivating merit and wealth for yourself! It is still cultivating the cause! It is not wasted.So if your share of this ratio is used for charity in the world, it’s okay, nothing can’t be done, but you can’t give it away. The difference is here.

So we have to uphold this precept, when we are about to give up, of course you have to give up properly. Where do you want to give up? Do you want to spend money on the cutting edge? Do you understand this metaphor? This is a common saying.It has to be spent on the knife edge, so that it generates a lot of interest.

That is only in the Three Treasures. Don’t say that our family members have the obligation to protect. Even if we are not Buddhist disciples, we plant this cause in Buddhism. Why it can give up one thing is because it can continue. .. Our Three Jewels can continue to help you benefit all living beings.

This is when you planted this cause at the time, and we can continue to satisfy many people with benefits, because many people will benefit from this kind of cause you supported at the time, and they will be used.You have a share of merit, and they all get your help, support, right?

Then you think...you won't wait: Hey, I want as much today, and wait for when the results will come out.So if you can get benefits right now, what else do you ask for? Do you still want to use the world’s perspective? Wait for recycling?

Some people said, like I just started to become a monk, some people would think that your monks are also passing money, and you didn't follow this precept.I have just mentioned that some people are open fate, and they have to bear the fate, otherwise there is no way. You always have a name and an industry in a place! It is so difficult for you to give a name to a layman, just wait a moment. Run away! There are situations like this, not nothing.

No money.A monk! I started thinking about this in my heart.But all my doubts are incomprehensible, and I will not interpret it from the negative side. This is very important.

When you see things that you think are bad in the Three Treasures, you must not use your own knowledge or negative interpretation.You can interpret it, and think about it on the bright side.But on both sides of me, I look at things on both sides... You have to do this, but that’s not okay, it’s not okay!

If someone wants to open up a relationship, you just follow the crowd, and don't worry all sentient beings.Then you know how to handle it.If you don’t worry about living beings for the sake of sentient beings, and this precept is to open up the predestined relationship, you are not wrong, you can.Does that understand?

If you insist on keeping this precept for you, then you are the Hinayana, as if you have a habit of cleanliness, oh! If this is not good and the other is not good, it makes the family annoyed, then you are breaking the precept when you are in the Bodhisattva vow.You violate the precepts, you violate the spirit of the Mahayana precepts.Bodhisattvas want to benefit all beings! Give them joy.

So some people, it’s hard to get along with those who keep the precepts very strict! Especially monks, I often go to school in the dojo where we learn the law, and one or two hundred monks are more diligent than one.Then one is more difficult to get along with.Of course not everyone, but a part of them.

Really! We can’t get up when we eat, we can’t get up when we sit down at a table.As a result, at that time... because we had retreats before, we had six bhikkhunis in one room.Everyone comes to retreat, no one is older or younger, right?

One of them came out of the precepts dojo, and she was sitting there: Hey you get this for me, give me that... Command, because there was no layman at the time, she had to command us.In the end, how did the people around me feel like this? We all came to retreat. Hey, you want us to protect your ring. Of course, this is nothing, and it's very good.The question is why don’t you protect my vows? Right? Your heart is not balanced! Why take it for granted that people should protect your vows?

People protect your ring to be happy, active, and willing! Right? How can you say: Hey you come here! That's not right! Your ring is not necessarily higher than me, even if it is higher than me, I am not We must, although we should try our best to achieve others.If you want to take the precepts and keep the precepts, we should try our best to protect her. This is what it should be.

But, as far as she is concerned, she is wrong.She has no wisdom and compassion if she keeps the precepts.Make sentient beings annoyed and arrogant.There is arrogance in her heart. She holds the precepts, she is the biggest, she is the purest, and I am the most remarkable, so you have to protect me.In this case, it seems correct in theory. We Buddha disciples should protect each other. The question is, do you have this blessing? Do you have this predestined relationship? You have this good predestined relationship with sentient beings. People will come to protect you with joy. You can’t force it, take it. It’s wrong to ask others for reason.

You are correct, but you can’t talk about the last learning. Learn to talk about disciples, no matter if you learn from him or not, you are a disciple of the Three Treasures, right?Do you want to talk about disciples to the monks?Are you a disciple of the Three Treasures, or a disciple of the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha? I have to talk about disciples.

The disciple XX bows to this, so when people see, oh~ this person has learned and understood the rules, too much is not good, not too late, this is usually used, I see many of them claim to be unlearned Yes, then I just want to say that he may think he is very humble, then no one has taught him.

When we went to promote the Dharma, there were still people in Malaysia who were more fun. They advertised, made some banners and hung them outside, and then he wrote respectfully inviting Shi Shangren and Xia to respect the Master, and there was also Shixia and Shixia. How could this be?If you are so good at it, you can use Master Renjing if you want, or if you want to respect the Master, it will be fine. He has all of them. If they don't understand, they also have the surname and Shangxia. This is called too much.He wants to show his respect, this is not right, this is basic common sense, you must understand it, because you are a Buddhist disciple!

Then, in terms of majesty, we have a saying in the jungle, to walk like the wind, sit like a bell, lie like a bow, and stand like a pine. This must be learned, and we must learn from the family.I have also said in previous lectures that the image of our laymen is very important, right?Lay Buddhist disciples also have social image standards for lay Buddhist disciples. Didn’t we talk about the ten virtues?There are also some external rules, and we must use this standard to make it.

The person who listens to it is very uncomfortable, and the person who listens to it is very uncomfortable, and you feel that you are not energetic. You will know at a glance. Very lazy.

Alas! It’s best to marry someone. Don’t be like this. No, it’s just showing on our foreheads. It’s not... if your chin shrinks and your head is pulled up, you will naturally feel stable and your body relaxed. To develop this habit in this way, this is to be practiced, otherwise you, you think most people are like this, right?

Ordinary people do it like this, otherwise it’s going up the whole person, even if it’s not too ugly, there’s no prestige. If we sit like this, we don’t have to say that it’s very hard and relaxed. You see many monks, he sits. It's quiet there, you think he is very solemn, right?Why is it that sometimes at home, when you don’t pay special attention to the majestic person, you don’t seem to have the so-called sense of solemnity, and you just sit there quietly. This is a small gesture and angle.

It is generally better to sleep in auspicious sleeper, but we often sleep until midnight. How could this be?It becomes positive. There is no way to practice this, but we try to exercise before going to bed, because the auspicious sleeping is taught by the Buddha, because it is better for the stomach and intestines, and it will not make you sleep until you don’t want to sleep. Oh, it's easy to be full of energy, and it won't make you want to be lazy and continue to sleep.

Standing like a pine!When standing, how do you look like a pine tree? That is, the characteristic of a pine tree is tall and straight, and the big leaves feel different. We have to be like pine trees and don’t move around. This is to develop a habit. We Always pay a little attention.

This is really not easy, so the minds of our men and women can be infinitely broad. This is equal, because the Buddha nature is the same, but you really have to bear the responsibility and do it, and our physical strength is also No, like our physical strength is worse than others, and some really need a lot of things....

The Buddha personally went to save them. Ma Sage Bhikkhu was just very prestigious, so he brought them in. Of course he went to ask him why you...Of course, the Sari Buddha himself was very good. He knew this prestige was so good. Well, the tolerance is extraordinary, so surely his teacher is not easy.

Sariputta also looks at people, so I asked him what your teacher taught you. He also gave a poem, and he was very polite. We want to learn this from him. His answer said, I I am stupid by nature, and there is no way to learn all the teachings of the Buddha. I can only tell you a verse that the Buddha taught us. He said: “All dharmas arise from predestined conditions, and all dharmas die from predestined conditions. Do it like that." This sentence is actually very crucial.

Then the Sariputta himself is already quite a person, he immediately knew that when his realm was greatly improved, you immediately realized something. Then what can we experience from this part?The first majesty can attract sentient beings to get close to you. This is a predestined condition. Let him enter Buddhism first. So majesty is very important and a prerequisite.

If Jin looks very ugly, you probably won't want to see me come when you see me in the second scene. Maybe the Master Zhaoxu won't invite me. If he invites you to scare you, it won't work, right?That prestige is also very important. The basic temperament of a horse must be okay and disciplined. It does not mean how beautiful you are, but it is not. This is a necessary condition.

Attracting people, and then there is the content. We have to learn it. It has to be very humble. If he comes over, he will say, "I...I...I have learned very well, what I know, then this is probably someone else." I didn’t feel much about it, but he was very polite. He said, oh, I’m stupid, but I’m... I can only learn a little bit. What story I shared with you today makes Master more respectful. , This is what we want to learn.

Our disciples of the Three Treasures should attribute all the merits to the Three Treasures. Don’t grow up by yourself and hold on to what I see. What is my opinion? My practice, so that you have no virtue and I don’t understand anything. All are the teachings of the teacher and the Buddha , That’s right. When people hear, um, they’re really good at learning, and disciples know that they’re doing well and have virtue, then this is the real cultivation. You don’t need to say that you have cultivation, others will know , You have repaired.

We have all learned this. Our teachers have taught us. We have to end class as soon as the time is up.
