Dear President Tsai, be merciful, and honorable fellow practitioners of the great virtues, good evening everyone, Amitabha! Tonight is the last night of our study together at the Kulai Buddhism Association. It seems that this has disappeared halfway.. The last day is still too late to come back. The destiny was not bad. It was almost full. There must be a beginning and an end. You can't participate in the whole process. At least there is an end. Some practitioners are also very eager to listen to the Fa, but there are many obstacles. This is not easy to practice at home.
So today I was originally going to learn the essentials of the "Amitabha Sutra" with everyone, because we used yesterday, this time yesterday to explain the "Amitabha Sutra". The main theme of this time is the essence of the "Amitabha Sutra". If you want to talk about it to Consummation, then there is one day left. The essence of this "Guan Jing" is the method of his theories and methods in our Pure Land Three Sutras. The explanation is the most in-depth and complete, so it was in one night. Time, we are afraid that we will not be able to explain clearly in a few words.
In particular, I also deeply feel that our fellow practitioners here. I originally planned to include the essentials of "Guan Jing" because I understand that the foundation of our fellow practitioners listening to the scriptures is very good. Especially the thought of good guidance has been quite a bit. Time is not unfamiliar with the cultivation of time, so I moved on that idea. If there is enough time, I will also tell you the essence of "Guanjing", but in fact, I found a more important issue. It is the same as fellow practitioners here. The problem that needs to be solved more urgently is that the foundation of the practice is far inferior to the practice of the fellow practitioners for this solution.
Over the years, through our President Cai, he has been very motivated, and has been asking the Master to explain all kinds of scriptures to everyone for many years. Then the fellow practitioners are also very dedicated and earnestly studying, but we know that everything must be the middle way. It will be a good result. If we just work on the solution without timely cooperation, then your solution will not be digested. What will happen if we don’t digest? What will happen if we eat too much and cannot digest ? If the intestines and stomach are blocked, problems will occur if the intestines and stomachs are blocked, and the method will become a poison, and this will be very dangerous.
What kind of danger? Some old Xiu will mistakenly think that he understands very well, because he has listened too much to the scriptures. If you want him to be reasonable, he can also speak the truth, but he does not speak from the bottom of his heart. , It’s just that this eloquence is very good, so what you say will not touch people by discerning the Fa, or influence others by discerning the Fa, and there is no way to convince people. Therefore, no matter how good your eloquence is, your fate of the Fa is not likely to be good. Okay, then this kind of person will mistakenly think that he has cultivated very well, and it will hinder his progress. He can't distinguish the way to really change his habits, let alone talk about the death.
Our goal of studying the Pure Land can be achieved. This kind of people is the most dangerous and it is difficult to turn back. So while we are not very old, we can still be saved at the half-life stage, and it is easy to save. It is really that kind of decades. It’s really hard to save without digesting some things. It’s very hard to save. His heart is dead. A person who is heartbroken doesn’t feel it, but he doesn’t know where his problem is. In fact, the problem is. It is that there is no skill.
Journey is what makes us feel. It allows us to generate various emotions from our hearts, and then transform our body and mind to subdue our worries. There is no discernment but only interpretation. The interpretation only allows you to see the road ahead clearly. It really has to be useful. You have to cooperate with the line and practice yourself, so we have to do one sentence when we hear a sentence, just like two feet, the right foot is to solve the left foot is OK, you have to walk together, otherwise you only have to understand, it is not always on one foot Are you jumping? If you jump for a long time, there will be problems. Then this is a situation of Old Xiu, and the danger he hides is the most serious.
In addition, some beginner practitioners did not understand them. After listening to a lot of sutras, they were very motivated. They practiced together, listened to sutras, and recited the Buddha. However, they always felt that the Dharma was not working. Why did the Dharma fail? Because he didn’t get the benefit, he didn’t get the benefit, and then he didn’t understand the teachings, so he blamed the Dharma for not working well. Then this kind of person hasn’t gotten started yet, and he will gradually lose his mind. One of these two categories is a beginner. One is Old Xiu, and it is easy for him to have a problem before he actually walks into the road.
It's okay that I haven't contacted Buddhism. Once I contacted it, oops!This illness is getting worse and more serious day by day, so I see that our fellow practitioners here also have this kind of phenomenon and this kind of sign. It may be relatively better than other learners. Our fellow practitioners all have good roots, but This is indeed a common phenomenon, because we all have greed, anger, ignorance, laziness, self-righteousness, greed, anger, ignorance, and suspicion. These are inherent karma, so it is difficult to avoid these phenomena, that is, to solve too much action. , The weight is too good, and this weight, if you really understand it, it’s okay, the person who can really solve the problem, you will definitely do it, even if you want to be unreasonable, you think it’s done, then It's very troublesome.
Or for a beginner, he just misunderstood and didn’t understand it at all, and then thought that Buddhism was like this. It wasn’t that way before, and he turned back before getting started. So this is a common practice, especially for lay persons. It’s very easy. I encountered a trap of learning, and also a bottleneck. It was hard to come by. Before karma is rewarded, if you can hear the Dharma and be able to contact the dojo, you will also be inspired. There is a root of goodness, there is merit, there is cause, but it is not enough. Sungen Fude's cause is too shallow, so even if some people met, he missed it face to face and did not get any benefit.

That just happened to me. Before I came this time, I had already completed my very important work to a stage, which is to put the thought of good guidance, which is the core and most important part of our Pure Land Method, about the part of the rebirth, through this video. Fellow practitioners took their heart, I think everything that must be talked has been recorded, and I am a little more relaxed now. In fact, this part is the most important for every practitioner, because impermanence comes. , If we are not ready, then we will give up all the work, but because I have left the disc through this video, I am not in a hurry to continue to repair it in this respect today.
In particular, the essence of "Guan Jing" is a bit deeper, and some fellow practitioners may not have that opportunity. So today I just have this cause and condition. I want to tell you that the more practical things are also very important. Part of it... First of all, I want to put forward a very convincing representative, that is, Master Shandao. Before, we have always emphasized that our goal of studying Buddhism is to regenerate Buddha. It is very simple to pass the guidance of Master Shandao. As long as you have enough faith and wishes, there are no conditions, as long as you believe that you are willing to make a wish, and then honestly recite the Buddha. It doesn’t matter whether you recite more or less, whether your skill is good or not. The most important thing is that you are really willing to make a vow. If this is a condition, then This is the only condition, but this is not strength.
The power and virtue of rebirth are XNUMX% dependent on the Buddha. We have to figure out the fact that if we truly believe in reciting the Buddha, once we die, we will go straight to the land. The grade is very high in the seniors, because there is no doubt at all. Belief is XNUMX% dependent on Amitabha, then we are very close to Amitabha, and we are simply united. Since we are united, then Amitabha in the rebirth lives in retribution. Of course, we also live in retribution. We are one, so this is The most extraordinary, but we have been emphasizing it because time is limited. When we have been emphasizing this range, some people will mistakenly think that if you do not need to keep the precepts, in fact, this is delusional thinking at work.
We emphasize the three resources of rebirth. The conditions of rebirth do not mean that others are denied. We also talk about cause and effect. If there is a cause, there will be an effect. If you do not maintain the precepts, of course there will be retributions for breaking the precepts and breaking the precepts. You should cultivate the five precepts and ten virtues. Practicing the bodhisattva path, although it cannot be used as a resource for rebirth, has nothing to do with rebirth, but it also has its results, and we also emphasize that a person who truly believes in aspirations will definitely be reborn. On the contrary, he has no faith in the rebirth. Before, you had to be more diligent and spontaneous to like to recite the Buddha, like to stop evil and cultivate good, willing to do it more actively, this is the way to be true to your wishes, because receiving the blessing of the Buddha is not forcing yourself.
Well, because some people have not fully responded after hearing this, and have not yet developed true faith and desire, they are inevitably suspicious. Therefore, I will take this opportunity to present our own deeds to prove to us. We know that the master is Amitabha. Next, his five books and nine volumes are all about the theory of death. He didn't talk about other things. Why? He made a vow to fix the past and the present. He saw that many people did not talk about the core, so He has manifested in his entire life to do this, and when he finishes it, he will leave. This is his mission and task in this life. You can’t say that he doesn’t teach the precepts, it means that he doesn’t pay attention to the precepts. Yes, it is really wrong to say that, so I will also introduce his own practice and deeds here by the way.
Among the thirteen ancestors of our Pure Land Sect, no one holds the precepts more rigorously than him. This is not what I said, but it is recorded. Who can do it if Master Shandao has not slept for XNUMX years? You don’t need to sleep because he is no longer asleep. Come here, he has attained samādhi chanting at the age of twenty, and those who have samādhi can meditate for food, basically. . .Oh, that life is simply a game world, so he doesn’t have a squatter. He keeps the precepts very strict. He doesn’t look at women. There are various precepts. No patriarch can compare to his. The records are very detailed. I I will not introduce them one by one.
As soon as he enters the chanting hall, how does he recite the Buddha? Even in winter, it is very cold, the temperature below zero. You see, the mainland is very cold and it can be as cold as minus XNUMX or XNUMX degrees, which is even more ice than the freezing of our refrigerator. To be colder, he must read the Buddha and sweat profusely as soon as he enters the Buddhist hall. This shows his respect and sincerity to the Buddha. As soon as he walks out, he can only persuade people to recite the Buddha without distracting others. He likes it. I walk alone. This point I correspond to him. Why does he like to walk alone? Because he can run the Taoist uninterruptedly, his heart is always the Buddha's name, so I have been studying Buddhism from this, maybe before, I suspect that I am a little lonely. .
Sometimes people misunderstand me and are a little arrogant and ignore people. Basically, I seem to be pretty popular, smiling all day long, but I will keep my distance from others, as long as you don’t really ask for the truth or even if you’re asking for the truth, but You are a great virtue who participates in meditation and mantras, and I do not have to keep a distance. It is just that some people will want to communicate with us further, and I have a natural avoidance, and sometimes people feel that I am a little arrogant. , But in fact, my heart is really just to concentrate on my own practice.
Although we can recite the Buddha when we have time, it’s okay if we have no time to recite less. We don’t have to grasp this narrative from morning till night like a meditation, just like a cat wants to catch a mouse, it just stares at it for a moment and can’t relax. The standards are not so strict, but we know that the karma is deep, and we do feel that only reciting the Buddha is the happiest, the purest, the most innocent and the least karmic, so I really hope to be able to grasp the time as much as possible to be alone and solve the problem. Can continue to work hard.

No matter how popular we are in the world, including relatives, no matter how good you are when you meet, you always have to care about whether you are full, whether you are full, what is your health, or you are in the same way, but in fact you are in the same way. Look, people, Da Kassapa and the Blessed One, Da Kassapa is a person who has received the mind of the Blessed One. People who truly correspond to their hearts and minds don’t need to talk. Just look at me and I’ll look at you. It’s just a narrative. , So no one who actually corresponds to the Fa talks about the Fa as a chat over there, there is nothing to talk about the Fa, just do it when you really understand it, and just talk about it, so even if it’s the same person, it’s nothing. It’s easy to talk about, unless we have something in common, doing things for the sake of all beings, we have to talk about how to do it, and really talk about the teachings in the Fa. In fact, we waste time and don’t even talk about the Fa. What's more, those in the world are cold and warm. Those are the world. Cookie cutter.
Master Shandao really did this, saying that not only did he maintain strict precepts, chant the Buddha diligently, and actively promote the pure land when he went out, but he would not cultivate less fortune than others, and he did too much, including our mainland. The world-famous Longmen Buddha is also his supervisor. He is also an artist and a transfiguration map of the Pure Land in the mainland. We often see the Western Three Holy Sages. It is the incarnation of Amitabha Buddha. It was painted by Master Shandao. He wrote the Amitabha Sutra at the time. With the inventions of printing, the number of Amitabha sutras written was very considerable, and then he was able to prove the chanting of the Buddha Samadhi. Wow~~ He is really energetic, because he doesn’t need to sleep too much, and he can say that there is no patriarch more than him. many.
But he left only five books and nine volumes, because he only talked about this part. This is what he wants to do when he comes back. He has not many teachings left. He only talks about the death. But he His own behavior, he did too many things, the emperor also called him a bright monk, so this is talking about his precepts, so we can clearly know from his example, we follow ten The Eight Wish to follow the guidance of Master Shandao, use the simplest achievement and the most stable method, and truly everyone can decide to die. This method does not mean that such a person can slack off without having to keep the precepts. This is a fact. The proof of example was done, so our five ancestors should be the fifth ancestor. Master Shaokang is known as Hou Shandao. He was also invited to learn the Pure Land through the blessing of Master Shandao. Later, he also became the fifth ancestor of our Pure Land sect.
He and another well-known Zen master at the time, two people collaborated on this book, in which he praised Master Shandao and said that since the Dharma went east, he has never seen a Zen master like that, referring to the holy virtue of Master Shandao. People, wow!This sentence is really admired to the extreme, not only surpassing the thirteen patriarchs of our Jingzong, how long has the Dharma passed on to the east?For more than a thousand years, so many great virtues are not beyond him, wow~~ This admiration, we not only admire, we should believe it, we can believe it, because Master Shandao is the return of Amitabha, Amitabha is the king of Buddhas, who can Compared with him, this admiration is not an exaggeration at all. Moreover, from his observance of the precepts and his contribution, among the thirteen patriarchs, he has the most people who have gone to Buddhahood. In terms of this ratio, he is the most in Chang'an City for three years. As for my family’s chanting of Buddhism, Amitabha, and Guanshiyin, we can hear the sound of chanting as soon as we go out. This is only when the Master Shandao in the Tang Dynasty promoted it, and for three years.
Our Master Yinguang respects Master Shandao the utmost, and calls him the teacher of Shandao monk. What’s more, we have seen the biographical records with our own eyes. Through the people he has guided, it is clear that the way he teaches us to sustain is the best. Simple, he taught the easiest among all the patriarchs, but it’s very strange. Through his guidance, the people who passed away are not only monks, lay people, and people who have attained samādhi, but Master Yinguang doesn’t care about it. Count, oops~~ a lot, we can’t even think about chanting Buddhism and Samadhi. Kung fu can’t be done into a movie, but that’s a fact. Through his seemingly simple method, it can actually produce the most extraordinary. Retribution.
Those who have attained the chanting of the samādhi, and then chanted hundreds of thousands of times, the Amitabha sutras chanted hundreds of thousands of times, and then held the precepts and then diligently, none of them can compare to the power of the Master Shandao. Therefore, don’t underestimate how simple it is. Believe that you can die by making a vow. So it’s really hard to believe. Master Shandao’s teachings are most in line with the characteristics of the Pure Land. The characteristics of the Pure Land Method are that it’s hard to believe and easy to do. It’s hard to believe, but today we meet people who can believe and see the deeds of Master Shandao. We no longer doubt them. Then we can imitate his deeds, and those who were actually blessed by the Buddha’s power will naturally. There is a change, and I know it very well, like people knowing whether they drink cold or warm water.
Like myself, I can prove it. I didn’t like to recite Buddhism before, and I was often slacking off, because I used to study the scriptures and teachings all day on the computer, and I spent the whole day studying the teachings. This spirit is very easy to be bad, so there is Sometimes I feel tired easily. It’s not that I want to recite Buddhism whenever I have time. I can’t recite and I’m not fascinated. The wish is not as brave as I am now. In many respects, we know it very well, but even though fellow practitioners heard it today, Some people have not yet fully developed their faith and desires, because some have a poor doctrinal basis. Like I met at the time, it was because I had 12 years of doctrinal foundation, and we must have truly matured for the cause and destiny of our past lives. There is a method of discrimination, because unbelief is inherently unbelief, and there is a physical and mental transformation that hasn't been moved. What should we do? It doesn't matter, we will learn step by step from the basics.
The three roots taught by the five precepts and ten virtuous old monks must be learned. If you don’t learn it, you don’t know how to do it. If you really receive the blessings of the Buddha, you will actually know how to do it, but you have not yet learned how to do it. For those who are deeply moved, we must take the initiative to learn. Starting from the basics of being a human being, that is, our profession is very important as I mentioned earlier. You have heard that it is useless if you do not cooperate with others, and it is useless at all. , And after listening to it for a while, and then forget it, even if you don’t forget what you said, it’s useless, so this line is the starting point for everyone to practice, the most basic of course is to start with the five precepts and ten virtues. .
The five precepts and ten virtuous practitioners have also listened a lot, but have you looked back on ourselves and what have you done? What have not been done? Many practitioners seem to be very diligent, and they often like to ask the master or fellow practitioners. Oh~ how do we practice? How can we improve, etc. There are many questions, it seems to be very diligent. One of the laymen asked the old monk Guangqin. There is a great monk in Taiwan. The old monk Guangqin said, How should our laymen practice?Only then can I bring up the Dao Mind of diligence, wow~~ He went to ask for the Dhamma with such enthusiasm, and he wanted to be diligent. He asked very good questions, but the old monk Guangqin told him, lightly speaking, old Guangqin. The monk is a person who often lives in deep meditation. He downplayed him and said, "My family, you just need to recite the Buddha and cultivate blessings."What does this sentence mean? Does it mean that this is enough?Isn’t it enough to recite Buddhism and cultivate blessings?
The old monk Guangqin speaks very zen-like. What he meant is, what ability do you have in your family to talk about spiritual practice? Even if you are motivated, there are fundamental obstacles. Even if there are no obstacles, you can do it for two or three days. He was relieved, because the karma is so heavy that he can’t even talk about cultivation, so he just tells you that you should study the Buddha and cultivate blessings. Don’t think too much. It’s useless to think about it. This is His real meaning is not to tell you, oh, it doesn’t matter if you cultivate blessings and reciting the Buddha, it’s enough if you have enough, it’s not enough if you don’t have to die. Of course, you have everything to die, just because you don’t know how to die.

If you really want to talk about practice, the lowest standard is the five precepts and ten good virtues, and the stricter standard is to start from the monkhood. That is the real start of the practice, because you are a monk and live in the Sangha, and you have habitual problems. The public immediately acted both hard and soft, forcing you to change. This is called practice. If you don’t change the sangha, you can’t stay for a day. Do you think the sangha meal is so delicious? Ten-party offerings, three hundred and forty-eight precepts. Women, you have to do it all the time in your life, so the five precepts are the standard for laymen. Why can you only order five? It’s very difficult for you to keep these five precepts. You can’t step on them if you don’t kill them. .. You see that many housewives saw a bunch of ants and trampled them to death (Taiwanese). They didn't even think about this habit, and then a bunch of them beckoned like this, wow~ this hand swipes, how many lives have been killed.
Afterwards, I thought...ah!! After I finished, I gave the five precepts, but usually when taking the five precepts, I can be more alert. The kind of people who only listen to the precepts without asking for the precepts and don’t really take the precepts, that’s really a day. We don’t know about killing and committing precepts until the night, so the environment for practice is very poor and there is no help. Our own karma is very heavy. We have no good knowledge to remind us. Without strict precepts to frame us, it is difficult for us to make progress, so we can’t even talk about it. In practice, practice is to correct our own wrong habits and ills, knowing and seeing, this must be corrected, are we correcting it? We only have to listen to a lot of truths, and then we feel at ease when we listen to it, oops~ it seems we have learned Some things, the more you listen to, the more you don’t do it, the bigger and stronger the illusion, the more obstacles you are to progress, and you feel at ease. I feel as if I have finally done some homework.
Just listening is not enough, so it is true that this obstacle is not easy to remove at home. It is really necessary to practice uninterruptedly. You can hardly stick to it for a week or half a month, you have ordered your homework, and then you take the precepts. , But it’s usually difficult to last. I believe fellow practitioners also have this experience. I am sure that many people are motivated to do their homework and set goals for themselves, but they are not lasting. This is one of my own inner demons, five yin. Flaming, greed, anger, ignorance, slow, suspected karma, on the one hand, because there is no help outside, look at the layman who dares to talk about you, you will be angry for a year after you say something, and the anger has not disappeared. See you I didn’t say hello to my face anymore, and my fellow Daoists were the same. When they met, the atmosphere seemed weird. We knew that we had to cultivate tolerance and tolerance. On the surface, we could control it, but we still couldn’t let it go.
In fact, we feel that the atmosphere between others and us is weird. In fact, we are also weird. If you don’t blame yourself, you won’t feel strange in the outside world. There may be problems with both. If there is no problem with one of them, it is very comfortable. The past is over, so the other person will also be affected by you and he will let go. When two people meet, they feel weird. Both of them have problems. Therefore, it is very important to practice at home with fellow Taoists. The relationship between relatives is deeper and we must cherish it. Others tell us that we must be grateful, and we must be able to change as much as possible, and we must thank him. If there is a misunderstanding, we must talk about it. After we talk about it, both of them must learn. Let go, let go from the heart, so as to achieve the effect of mutual advice and mutual support. This kind of good knowledge is hard to come by. It must be the more you need, the better, so the advice of others is not a bad thing.
Some people are also straightforward, and they don’t have any bad intentions. They just say that no matter if their methods are not perfect, we must quickly seize this opportunity to change quickly, and then quickly go to establish this good daoist with him, and participate in the same. For the fate of fellow Taoists, don’t talk about it once and two people will stay together for a lifetime. If you talk about it once, there will be a second time. This time you will get through safely and you can truly let go. Next time you can talk a little more, but remind Everyone must talk privately, everyone loves face, so you must talk privately, like our bhikshuni's precepts, there are mistakes between the same reference, we see that we don’t tell him, we violate the precepts, we must talk, but we must talk Speaking privately, and it can’t be more than three times, it means that you have to be enough. If you really say that if he doesn’t change it, then he really has to turn his face. That’s not okay. So, fellow fellow Taoists, we really need to be able to practice and be able to see Achievements and fate are very important.
The advantage of being a monk is that you can’t do it all the time if you don’t practice. There is a standard for that precept, and there is also mutual achievement with fellow daoists. Then these fellow daoists remind us whether the attitude is good or not, the method is correct, He always has a basis. According to the precepts, if you don’t violate it, it’s okay. If you violate the commandment, you can’t blame others for telling you what to do. So afterwards, we are all convinced that there is nothing to say. He is also an ugly daughter-in-law and so is he. If we have been repaired, if we did not make a mistake, others will not repair us, just reminding us to make corrections and forcing us to make positive changes. Therefore, if we really talk about spiritual practice, we really need to be a monk and live in the Sangha to be able to practice continuously every day.
However, when we talk about the situation of the family members, there are different causes and conditions. At this time, I believe that many laymen have watched a lot. If it is the incense temple dedicated to the Dhamma, I am afraid that you will not see a few precepts. People, but we can’t say that people don’t hold the precepts. The cause and fate of other people can’t be seen on the surface. But if you want to see the solemnity of a true preceptor, you can’t see it, because those places are all If there is no openness, the lay people can’t go, so we often go to school. I have also stayed in the jungles, and there are many large jungles in mainland Taiwan, and I go to the avenues of various sects or other sects, many places. Such good causes and conditions let us learn.
At that time, for example, I just said that this is the incense dojo, and there is a more modern dojo, just like we learned, the learning is actually mainly for the dojo set by the lay people, all for the convenience of attracting sentient beings and circulating. The magic weapon and taking the layman to practice together are of course only a small part of the Sangha. Maybe you can’t get in-depth contact. Then this is a more modern one, a form of the Sangha. The 384 precepts we talked about must be implemented in daily life. It must be in the traditional jungle for the Great Sangha to implement them more satisfactorily.
When I first became a monk, a bhikkhuni told me that I was a novice. He said that the best way for a monk is to exercise in the jungle before you can become a real monk. He said that, I didn’t understand at the time. Later, I also went to the Po Lin Buddhist Temple on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Wow~~ That is the jungle in the jungle. It is completely ascetic. It is hard to find such a place in the mainland. There is only one master, one master, one master, one master, the next old master. Only with such a great practice as De can I feel so many people, live in hundreds of people, and so many people come from all directions to get close to him to practice asceticism. That was so hard that the layman accompanied me up the mountain and told him to stay for lunch. Can't stay, because the rules are very strict because I have to eat.
The bhikshuni told me that if the monk has not really exercised in the jungle, it is like a man who has not been a soldier. It must be very strict in the first few months to be a soldier in Taiwan, and he has not been fucked or polished. I don’t know if Malaysia has this military system. Regardless of where you are assigned to Taiwan, it is really strict in the first three months. If you ask you to wear your shoes upside down, you can wear them upside down. From morning to night, fucking until you are almost dead, what about me, wow! The fate is very good. When I was the youngest novice from the minority, I went to the jungle and was on Lantau Island in Hong Kong.
We are like this. This commandment is very strict, and it is as strict as those of us who went to take the precepts in the same year. We had more than four hundred precepts that year, and I was selected as the first altar among the women. I was selected as the first altar. The first three people are the first altar. Of course, if we go further, we also feel that it must be the blessing of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.

In short, we feel that we have no virtue and incompetence. How could we be selected for the first altar, but what does the first altar mean? It means that all the people behind are younger than me. We were ordained in the same year. The share is relatively high, just like twins are born. At the same time, there is a boss and a second child. The husband who comes out is the boss. They are also in the stomach together. There is always a generation size, but in the jungle. The share is clearly divided. There are also two, one with high abstinence and low abstinence, and two are arguing. In the end, the person who abstains from abstinence is determined by the person who has high abstinence, because the public said If the mother-in-law says the mother-in-law is reasonable, then it’s a matter of generation. Just like a child argues with his parents, he still has to listen to his parents in the end.
After I received the ordination, I became an adult and followed the rules according to the seniority. But when I went there, I hadn’t received the ordination. It was a minority. The minority is a novice like a child. We don’t have an ID card. If you have the ordination, you have the ordination disc. Just like the ID card of a monk, all monks at home and abroad who follow the law have the right to place orders. If they are well-destined, they can live permanently and have the right! Those who have not received the ordination yet, just If you don’t have an ID card, it’s still in the evaluation period. If you fail to pass the precepts, then you have to return to the vulgarity. The period is two or three years. Then I’m lucky, because our master is virtuous. The monk saint one old mage, he is the largest of all the precepts, but also because his blessings give me a lot of convenience, he will open the guilty, and the attitude of others is very smooth and harmless.
He has trained his disciples and grandchildren for five generations. Many mainland abbots, big abbots, and big abbots are his juniors and he supported them, so one of them is also the master who helped us pass the precepts, his disciple...daughter. Everyone, the abbot of this monastic group that specializes in disciplines often protests against Master~ to Master Shengyi, because their female disciplines are very strict, she does not necessarily know how to open fate. It must be a good grasp, so it is very persistent. For example, we novice monks must be at least two or three years old before taking the ordination. If a layman wants to become a monk, he must go to the Sangha to serve at least two or three years as a volunteer to get rid of the habit. , And then observe each other, and only when the cause is mature, there must be this stage.
But what kind of person is Master Shengyi. He will observe the causes and conditions, so sometimes the disciples will protest after two or three years, and then the disciples will protest. Master, how can you let them receive the ordination? Precepts have deep wisdom in them, as well as the way he holds the precepts. Of course, I am also the one who has received master’s blessing. I took the precepts after being there for four months in the first year. Minority, wow~~ The training is not polite, because before going to the mountain, Master told me that Master really made me, because I also graduated from training at that time and I can teach and teach everywhere, at least although I’m a beginner, but I am a Master. Everyone is very polite. Master Shengyi knows my situation and gives me a special account. It is difficult and low-key. I also support you in this sentence. This sentence is very meaningful.
At that time, I heard a kind of quasi-understanding, I want to say that good things are too hard, and everything is low-key. How low-key is it? Then I don’t know how to lie, I will forget when I lie, so I dare not say it, this is because I haven’t learned it yet. Buddha, I made a wish myself. I don’t want to lie, because there is a Western proverb, telling a lie. If you want XNUMX reasons to circumvent this lie, why are you so tired that it’s not worth it? This is my home. I had a concept before I learned Buddhism, because I was embarrassed when I lied once, so I made a vow not to lie, so how do I discern it in a low-key way, how to handle it, this really needs to be wise, you I can’t just say what I have. Then, for example, it’s not good to hurt people, and then I can’t tell lies. Then I don’t understand when I go up, I just want to be low-key, okay, I don’t want to say anything at all. .
Don’t talk about it, why, those bhikkhus are like our elders, I am a small child, she asked me how to say who your master is?Where is the dojo from there?You have to ask, and you should answer politely, but I don’t say a word, wow~ the repaired is very nasty, don’t we say that she will let you go? No, but it’s really blessed by Buddha and master Bless me because the master told me to go up the mountain to practice. He knew that I had never suffered. He really wanted to train me and told me to go up the mountain to cultivate good fortune. Starting from the basics, I had never suffered before.
I went smoothly after graduation. I didn’t have any hardships. I was grateful to Master. I listened to him and went up the mountain. I never let him down. So when she scolded me for half an hour for a little thing. Everyone dared not speak because she was of a very high generation, and as the scripture said, what she showed up was like six groups of bhikkhuni, so scary, a little bit of things can be scolded for half an hour, Many people around you are watching. If you scold you, you will jump up. If you scold you for half an hour, you can count and read a few sentences. When you scold me, you will endure and endure until the tears in the eye frame. I just don’t. Let it fall, but afterwards it fell without too much discrimination, and then she kept asking, I still didn't tell you, I didn't tell you, I was also very hard.
But how I supported the past, I was really antagonizing her, and I no longer competed with concentration, because I always thought that Master confessed to me to keep a low profile, I must not cause trouble, and at the moment of forbearance, I suddenly felt a feeling , I often always think of Master’s blessings, Master’s expectations of me, and then in the process, I was suddenly in those half an hour, I suddenly felt a feeling, wow~~ I think it’s so great, how can I bear it? Got it, I have never been patient like this. I have been the grandson of my grandparents since I was a child. I have never had any hardships, so to speak, and I am very headstrong and have a heavy habit. I suddenly looked back at that time, wow!I could stand it, I didn't even think about it.
If it weren’t for Master’s blessing of the Buddha’s blessings, it’s impossible. I used to be bullying people. It’s really a big test to get someone to treat me like this, and I believe that she has polished so many people, generally bhikkhuni novice monks. After grinding for two years, your habit is slowly and completely soft, and your heart softens. Normally, it is two years. I graduated after the second time. She didn't dare to grind me anymore, and she invited me to eat. Something, and after she asked me to eat, other people didn’t dare to provoke me, because she was in it, and she was the fiercest in it. She was really scared by me, even if someone scolded me for half an hour and didn’t admit defeat. , And finally I told her a word, I said, Master, you don’t need to ask any more, I won’t tell you, I said that although I don’t talk about it, one day you will understand that I’m not as bad as you think. I missed such a sentence, so she gave up, because I couldn't talk about it any more questions, but it was deadlocked for half an hour. This is called cultivation, where are you going to cultivate in the world.

Then my relationship in Baolin is very good. We went back to make Xia Anju for three consecutive years. We could leave after taking the precepts for the first year. Master made me take precepts. He knew that I wanted to preach the Dharma and establish a predestined relationship, but I myself made a wish to go back and ask for hardships. I went back to Jie Xia Anju for three consecutive years. Once Xia Anju was tied up, it would be ninety days. Before the third year, I can stay with Master Shengyi for two or three hours every day. That one is also probably unprecedented, because it’s impossible for women to get close to the jungle abbot with such strict disciplines. Women can’t get close to the men, let alone the abbot, and then they get close to each other every day, telling that no one believes me. Now I have a purpose. I can't say this casually. This is a fact. I just state the truth.
During this process, I was really grateful. The blessings of getting close to good knowledge were too great, and getting close to the kind that Master was grateful for, his virtues and teachings, I couldn’t do anything in my life. One part, but that direction is very clear. I know how to learn. Only then can I practice discernment. If you don’t get close to good knowledge, you also have to be a Dharma tool and others dare to tell you. Only in this way can we achieve the cause and condition of our learning. And it will take some time, really slowly and slowly to get rid of your habits again and again, so we sometimes go back to the mountain to see everyone meet, because this year, Master Shengyi died on August XNUMX this year, After that, when the master passed away, of course many disciples went back, and everyone met again. That feeling really turned into a deep Taoism.
If there is no mutual achievement between them, there would be no experience of that period of practice. This is really a reaction of practitioners to live completely in the present. Regardless of whether the past is good or not, it is completely treated with a cherished feeling of gratitude, unlike the world’s people. I’ve been arguing for a whole life, or meeting for small things, and then I’m weird when I meet. On the surface, I’m polite. I think that would cause internal injuries. I’m the least worthwhile. So To learn to release, it’s okay if there is really no cause and condition to resolve. We release our emotions through chanting Buddha and tell Aluta Buddha. It doesn’t mean that everything is explained to the Buddha statue, so that’s too tired, you If you keep talking about your consciousness and creating the impression of the situation again, it’s not good. It’s best not to think about anything and don’t talk about it anymore. Through the Buddha's signs, you can naturally release the kind of joy, anger, sorrow and joy in your heart. The Buddha will bless you, and you can really get a cure.
It doesn’t matter if you have the opportunity to resolve your grievances and creditors. If you have a cause, you can resolve it. If you don’t have a cause, you can also be released through the blessing of the Buddha. It will eliminate our karma and cool our hearts. All the resentment has disappeared right away, really. When you meet again for a reason, you won’t feel weird. This is the most direct way. Everything is easy to do through the power of the Buddha. There is nothing that the Buddha cannot do. It depends on whether we know how to rely on the Buddha. It's called practice. You have to develop that kind of mind, and then you have to continue to challenge your realm. Now you only have the five precepts. When someone tells you, you will jump up, wow~ who dares to speak, so the old monk Guangqin said it really. It’s too consummated. It’s good for you to recite the Buddha and cultivate blessings. If you really want to practice, you can start with the five precepts and ten virtues. We can also be a model for the lay family, as well as those who are particularly diligent.
Especially today I will briefly talk about the five precepts and ten virtues. Everyone has listened a lot. Let me talk about the bodhisattva vows. I think many of our veteran practitioners should have received the bodhisattva vows long ago. If they have studied Buddhism for more than five years, they are considered to be veteran practitioners. , I should become a senior to receive the bodhisattva vows. In my second year, I went to receive the bodhisattva vows. In my second year of studying Buddhism, I had burned my vows and the Bodhisattva vows were bigger than others. Let’s take it straight down. Our practice of the Mahayana Precepts is the foundation. The five precepts and ten virtues are the standards of the human world. It is not the standard for the disciples of the Buddha. The standard for the disciples of the Mahayana Buddha is to practice the bodhisattva path starting from the bodhisattva precepts. The precepts of the Bodhisattva are not difficult, so don’t be afraid to maintain them badly. Everyone can ask for and receive. At home, the bodhisattva vows are sixfold and twenty-eight light. You ask for vows. Our procedure is to ask for vows first, then learn the vows, and then try to learn them one by one. Ask for precepts. If you can achieve perfect consummation, you don’t need to ask for precepts. You have already achieved precepts, so everyone must figure out this procedure.
Don’t worry about breaking the precepts. No one in this world can break the precepts. Repentance can be repented. There is no sin that cannot be confessed when we study the Mahayana method, especially the Nammo Amitabha Buddha. All five evils and ten evils can be reborn, thinking about eight billion kalpas of life and death. Serious crimes, so don’t be afraid. Some people don’t dare to ask for precepts for fear of breaking the precepts. If you don’t ask to take the precepts so hard that you don’t have to be rewarded, then you say that at least one sin of breaking the precepts is missing. I will tell you how. It’s not worth the calculation. If you ask for precepts, you will definitely avoid creating a lot of karma. Then you occasionally break the precepts. That mistake is insignificant in comparison and can be confessed. Why don’t you choose to ask for precepts and ask for precepts? Ask for precepts There is a great blessing power. There are XNUMX guardians of the five precepts alone. These twenty-five guardian gods will be by your side at any time. After you ask for the precepts, you should try to learn and hold them as much as possible. We are in this refuge certificate of three conversions and five precepts, the vows in it, we ask for the precepts The oath says very clearly, learn, do, follow, learn as much as we can, follow our abilities as much as possible, follow this precept, follow as much as possible, follow as much as possible, He didn’t say you immediately It is necessary to achieve Consummation. Whoever does Consummation must at least be an Arahant, and Arahants have a habit, so don’t worry, this person who is afraid of breaking the precepts and does not ask for precepts, does not learn precepts, and does not hold precepts, just like that ostrich planted his entire head. In the sand, the world is peaceful. Before the retribution, people cut off your neck and roasted it immediately. The roasted ostrich left one head in the sand. You don’t know how you died. .
It’s better to face reality earlier and follow the five precepts and ten virtues of being steadfastly. Then we Buddha disciples are the bodhisattva vows, and the bodhisattva vows to repent are simpler. As long as you commit them at any time, you can repent in front of the Buddha at any time. It can be restored. Like our bhikshuni, the vows are different. For monks and bhikkhus, there are eight more serious vows, called decapitation parayis. After committing it, it means decapitation, and if the head is severed, it will not be saved. Expelled from the Sangha, in addition there are XNUMX Sangha Poshas with half-life left. The sangha is maimed, and maimed means maimed. It is still saved but half-life is left. Among forty people, Twenty bhikkhus and XNUMX bhikkhus will help you do the work and help you eliminate this sin. Look at so many people helping you, confess this sin karma, because you have committed a very heavy crime and left half your life. Everything else is okay. It's not called breaking the precepts to break the prestige. This is what Master Hongyi said.
Then there are some confession methods for this, it is relatively simple, some are to first confession, find a person to confess the confession face to face, it is a bit more troublesome to confess if you want to be a monk. The simplest and most basic is to confess to one person, and to disclose the sin. Only then will you repent and your heart will be pure. If it is a bodhisattva vow, it is very simple. As long as you are in front of the Buddha, you are afraid that others will know that it’s okay. You can also tell the Buddha before the Buddha that the Buddha will not be told, but there is actually one more thing. The good way is that I want to make a good demonstration. Many of my faults will be exposed to the public as much as possible. This confession will be quick. You should first find some people you can trust. You know that they will not spread it too quickly. Yes, you can confess repentance, so don’t be afraid. Asking for the precepts will only get half of your merit.
Don’t do this half in vain. Don’t have to hurry up, and then you will have a sense of mission. I am different now. I am a Bodhisattva. Although a Bodhisattva who is not perfect is at least the name Bodhisattva, right? I should also take a good look. Take the precepts, and the five precepts often have to be listened to. You will soon become a Buddha until you reach Consummation. So if you have to learn it, don’t listen to it several times. I know, so it’s not that easy to elaborate on the five precepts. Now I don’t have time to talk about the bodhisattva precepts. Some of the more related to us are easier to commit. Six weights and XNUMX light ones are six heavy precepts, XNUMX lighter precepts, and XNUMX lighter precepts are not minor precepts. , But to say that it is relatively light compared to the first six, so the last twenty-eight are also very important.
You must try your best to hold on to it. Article XNUMX of the XNUMXth article says that the four congregations have crossed it. Is it easy to commit the four congregations, bhikkhus, bhikshunis, upasai, and upas, they are also Buddhist disciples, and they are Buddhas. Disciple, you who have received the bodhisattva vow are also standard Buddhist disciples, that is, old seniors. You are still talking about your own faults. Then this is too serious. The four disciples are just one family. Confucianism also talks about family ugliness. Don’t speak out, right? Then you go to talk about others’ faults. They didn’t learn Buddhism. As soon as they heard it, oops~ Why are you Buddhism so messy? People look down on us Buddhism disciples, not the one you talked about, so This one is very important, and it is also committed by many people, and even the lay people have slandered the monks. This fault is too serious.
She will definitely think that she is kind, unless she does not believe in cause and effect at all, so it is usually kind. Old Lay Li Bingnan said that the Sangha is so messy because there are too many good people, and there are too many good people. Caused, your beginners are not so bold yet, and you know that they are relatively modest, and they don’t think they want to take charge of others and have to give a lot of opinions, and then they don’t accept you, you are unhappy and faceless, and you can’t let go of your heart. Troubles arise again, and all the right and wrong will become more and more. The troubles are like snowballs. So not only do not talk about other people’s faults nor raise opinions, if you are not in the position and do not seek governance, you are the deacon, then you have the right You have to comment on the obligation, not in this position, we don't even mention it and avoid ridicule, let your people misunderstand you.
In fact, you are really kind, but people sometimes misunderstand you, want to behave, want to be in charge of others, want to play the prestige of old repairs, etc., because troublesome people will always misinterpret you and misinterpret your kindness into maliciousness, then we Why ask for trouble? Right, we have to learn to be smart. Not only can we not talk about others’ faults, but we also don’t even do good things. In this way, nothing is a good thing. Purity in Buddhism means prosperity, no There are a lot of good things and a lot of things called Xingsheng. It’s not like that. We practice Buddhism to stop the mind, all delusions, good and evil thoughts, and live in a state of purity and inaction. You will become Now that we are a Buddha, we don’t want to purify by stuffing a lot of things in. We don’t get the wrong direction, so we must know how to protect our pure heart.

Then we look at Article XNUMX and it is also related to this precept. This is to see the four people’s destructive minds and slow down the precepts. It is the same to see the mistakes of others. It is more aimed at people breaking the precepts and slow down the mind. Arousing arrogance, whether he tells it or not, he is arousing arrogance. Then we must pay special attention to this. Don’t want to say that we all hold the precepts, but this person is not good at keeping the precepts. The same is to look at other people’s faults. You see if you can’t kill, you see, oh, angering people all the time is also killing, and worrying about people is also killing. If you want to kill, is that right? No, true cultivator. We have never seen the world, so we need to know that all the teachings, whether they are precepts or reasoning, are all addressed to me and taught to me alone. Every one of us must think this way. The content of the lecture is all told to me alone, and it is for me to hold the precepts, not for others to hold.
We often find a phenomenon easily to the people around us. There is a wife who listened to the scriptures one day and was very happy. The old mage said wow~ it was wonderful, the old mage’s speech was very powerful, and she was very happy when she heard this passage. The old master said that practice is to cultivate oneself and not to cultivate others. You can’t use the precepts and doctrines to teach others. This is very good. This passage is very good, so this lady wow~ I am very happy to catch the opportunity. Go home and tell her husband as it is, let me tell you~ The old master said that practice is to cultivate oneself and cannot be used to teach others, you know! You can't teach me in the future, she is performing wrong demonstrations, this kind of person A lot of them have not been discovered by yourself. It is really interesting. If you do so by discriminating the law to really influence others, will you be obedient if you ask others to behave? If it is useless, you must do it yourself. Do it, no matter whether you speak up or not, it actually has an influence on others.
There is a koan here that is very interesting and expressive. Many monasteries are now sightseeing sites. There is a monastery. Because of this novice, I just said that you have to do some chores for the minority. Some monasteries have a lot of pilgrims. Well, some literati likes to mention some words to commemorate "So-and-so visit here." If you are Li Bai or Su Dongpo, then no one can speak, and the words you write may not be good-looking, and there is nothing wrong with it. I wrote a lot of fame, it looks like pollution, pollution of this vision, then once a little novice was very angry, because he was in charge of the wall, and every time he wrote a lot of writing, he had to repaint it. Brush it clean, and once he thought of a method of differentiation, he hoped that these people should abide by the rules and not write scribbles on the wall like this, so he repainted it and cleaned it up, and then he wrote on the side. In a word, he said that it was a general announcement. He wrote it next to it. It is not allowed to write here. It is obvious that everyone can see that it is not allowed to write. He is very relieved, alas!Someone is enlightened, you think they are very clever, you will know before they finish speaking.
Of course, you must think that it will not work, but this process is quite interesting, and after a few days we know that we have committed the crime again, and he went to see one more line next to him and said, why did you first write?People are not convinced, you say you can’t write, you write here yourself, and your handwriting is not good-looking, just write next to it, why did you write first?Next, the second visitor also joined in the fun, and wrote in the third line and wrote next to him. He wrote that he wrote. The two began to talk and changed to the message board. Then the last visitor had to intervene if he couldn't see it. I want to write, everyone writes, it’s full, wow~ it’s very lively, not only people don’t listen to him, but everyone comes to join in the fun, you see that it’s not full, but now it’s all full, you can think that the little novice must I'm so mad, he doesn't have the wisdom! You didn't know how others would listen to you, and you wrote more excessively. This is quite interesting.
But in real life, we do see it uncommonly, and we can often see this kind of situation. You tell people that they not only don’t listen to you, but you also have more and more rights and wrongs. Everyone gets involved and participates. So we must do it by ourselves. If we really want to change others, we must start with ourselves. When we do it ourselves, others will observe. This is virtue. Even if you don’t speak up, others will adjust yourself. So when we encounter a realm, We feel that the relationship with him is not good, and we really want to get rid of his habit. In fact, when we moved this idea, we have already seen others' faults, but fortunately, as long as there is no second thought, there is no Any action is pretty good.
Immediately remember to look back on yourself, whether you have committed this problem, if not, then we will look at ourselves again, whether we have troubles due to this, if there are living troubles, then we are wrong, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have seen the faults of sentient beings At that time, how did they react? They looked at themselves, how could they not have the ability to influence them, only to blame themselves and not to blame others, and then he would try his best to discern the law, where he did not do well enough and was not thorough enough, I have been right He is very good, but he is not good enough, so he will continue to do it. If he really does enough, he will change it. If he has not changed it, it means that he has not done enough. Then how can it be enough? The fastest way It’s not from your behavior that you are very courteous to him. It’s useless. People don’t appreciate it. The most important thing is from our heart. It really makes him feel that we are from the heart. We must be good to him to resolve it. This is quick and sincere. most important.
There is a kind of induction between people. Intuitive induction is whether this person is really good intentions, or whether he has bad intentions and pretends to be hypocritical, or that he also has good intentions but sincerity is not enough, then there is no way to influence it. Others don’t have enough strength, so you can only look back at yourself, where they are not doing well enough, there is only this way to practice and nothing else, no matter what others are right or wrong, others tell the old monk, others are wrong, right or wrong, even if others are wrong We are also not qualified to comment on him, so not to mention that the four people are not qualified to comment on him. If you want to further help him change, you must first be able to influence him instead of asking him to change.

There is also the first precept not to support parents and teachers, and the seventeenth precept is not to wear three garments, bowls, and rod precepts. I did not follow the order. I put the related ones together. In general, these two precepts are after receiving the bodhisattva precepts. They are obliged to provide for their parents. Parents are supposed to be humans, and they are obliged to provide for the Three Jewels. This is an obligation. Therefore, it is an obligation for a layman to protect the monks. Then, what is the obligation of the monks? Concentrate on the practice, quickly accomplish it, and then give back to the Dharma Giving, the duty of the layman is to give money to cultivating blessings. My own blessings are not enough and I have no destiny to become a monk, so I still have to cultivate more blessings. This is stipulated by the Blessed One, because the four disciples have received the blessings of the Buddha. I am a student of the Buddha, so I have the obligation to give back. Therefore, offering the Three Jewels to the family is not only a monk. This is to listen to the Blessed One's words to do one's own duty, not to be a favor to the family, and then it becomes a bargaining mentality. If it is wrong, there is no merit, and the blessings you feel are very small.
It should be seen as a whole that we are doing things for the Three Jewels, we are cultivating blessings and wisdom for ourselves, don’t have the heart to ask for something in return, don’t have the identity. Listen to me, he listens to you. If you are wiser than him, it’s fine. If you are not wiser than him, he listens to you. Don’t everyone die together?Right? Everyone fell together, so now many laymen look down on the very dangerous things of the monks. That is called Xiangxiufu. He thinks he is qualified because I support you, you eat mine and wear mine to listen to me, this It's very troublesome. I don't dare to accept his support for a person like this. I'm afraid that everyone will die together, and then he will not be able to cultivate his real blessings and create a karma. Maybe he can take money to ask a monk to do it. This is called a transaction.
Doing secular things in a Buddhist hall, you don’t even know that you are doing karma and you want to have merit, so why some fellow practitioners have been unable to learn for a long time. There are two situations. One is that there is a kind of person who hasn’t seen the results for a long time. This situation is possible and the disasters continue. This situation may be that various karma was born in the past, and the results are now repaid, but because you have learned Buddhism and have suffered a serious crime, you originally wanted to lose your life. But now it just caused you a catastrophe, wow!The catastrophe, it seems that studying Buddhism is not effective at all, but you did not expect that you might have created killing karma in the past, and you can still keep alive and continue to practice, and it can also make you realize that the world is impermanent and human is insignificant. It gives you a lot of vigilance. If you can visualize in this way, that's right. You can't think about the ineffectiveness of the Dharma. This is a felony retribution for the sins of the past.
Another situation is that you don’t really study Buddhism at all. You just listen to the scriptures and you don’t really do it, and you don’t really understand it. If the Fa doesn’t reach your heart, people who really understand will definitely do it. You didn’t do it. People represent that you don’t really understand, so of course there is no induction, so you are getting miserable day by day. Even though you have received the three refuges, you are also called a Buddha disciple. Of course, you are not a real Buddha disciple. If you want to blame the Three Treasures for not working, then you are miserable. You can add a grade to the crime of slandering the Three Treasures. You can’t make a joke. It's the same as my grandmother, because she was in Yiguandao for more than ten years in the early days. When I became a monk, she was very worried because of her. I have a bad impression of Buddha.
My grandmother is over eighty years old. When they were young, Buddhism at that time, our generation would have a little misunderstanding. She worried that I was deceived. I went back and told me, ah, how effective it is to recite the Buddha, how effective is it, where it hurts me half to death, and she doesn’t work well, I get angry when I hear that it’s not working, I’m not really angry with my fire, I’m I was worried about her. I was afraid of her doing karma. I said I told her very sternly, I said how can you say this, I said that your body has been used for more than XNUMX years, and you are now chanting Buddhism. A few days, you only read for a few days, do you say you did it seriously? Like when I go back, when I first came home from a monk, she wanted to take something for me to eat, she would buy ginseng, what to buy... Grandma loves me very much, she gives it to me and I won’t take it. She said, are you going to give to your granddaughter or support your master now?If I have to provide for Master, I will accept it. In the end, including my family, aunts and uncles, they are all the same. I will remind them, because they all treat me as family members. I know that they have not turned me over yet. Selfishness, selfishness, I don’t accept it, I hope they can really get merit, so I take that opportunity, every time they want to give me something, I remind him and ask them to nod and say to support the master before I take it. So I told her very sternly, I said you can’t justify it like this, I said people read why it works, why don’t you read it well, and you don’t want to review yourself, so you just read a few sentences. This is because you have to be sincere, and then you will work. If your heart is not sincere, it will not work. Not working means that your heart is not sincere enough, and your reading is not focused enough. You are thinking about whether it is effective and whether it is effective. You are just this. How can it be effective if you don’t concentrate on your thoughts? Then slowly and slowly like this again and again, and gradually it has been transformed for many years. Now the situation is pretty good, then we just talked about these two precepts. This is the rule. The disciples who receive the bodhisattva vows should cultivate blessings. In fact, is the Buddha selfishly asking you to serve the Sangha? No, He wants to achieve your blessings. He hopes that you will study diligently, so when you are in the bodhisattva vows, you have to ask for it. You are obliged to provide for the Three Jewels, and then you need to go further. Holding six fasts, Article XNUMX does not hold six precepts, no, six fasts means that you have to hold eight fasts for six days in a month. One of the special ones of eight fasts is not eating after lunch, but in fact, the whole meaning is Fasting is quiet, fasting is the heart of fasting, so the eight-pass fast is also equivalent to living a life of a monk for a day, with a pure body and mind. You can't sing or dance, don't make up, and you can't have sex. You can take the monk's vows day and night. This standard, which is close to the ten precepts of novice monks, is only one thing that does not hold the gold and silver monk image and can still touch money.

When we were novices, we had to take this precept, but the stomach is not good. Why do we have to open the predestined condition sometimes? At night, people say we want to eat, and then eat a little. For two days, the stomach will not work.
I had an imbalance in stomach acid, so I adjusted it later. Drink a cup of oatmeal or two or three biscuits at three or four in the afternoon, four or five in the afternoon. If you are not hungry, don’t eat it. If the stomach acid doesn’t feel particularly flatulence, don’t eat it. Drink plenty of water to ensure that you are not hungry. It’s just a gurgling stomach. You will drink until you are full. You will detoxify by the way. Drinking 500C.C. is very effective. If you are really not used to it at the beginning, you should not just do it all at once. In this way, you can reduce your food, start with half a bowl, and then stop eating after a week. That is equivalent to having a snack in the afternoon. Then you will feel that you can work a lot of time throughout the evening. You don’t need to cook or eat. No need to wash.

It's a painful thing, wow!I prick up my ears as soon as I hear this.
Then let’s eat one less meal now, and you will find that wow, there’s a lot more time, and then your body and mind will be peaceful, your mood will be very good, and then you will be particularly prone to be happy when you recite the Buddha, and you will save a little money, one month If you save XNUMX meals in XNUMX days, you can use the money for these XNUMX meals to provide for the Three Jewels. You can cultivate true blessings and wisdom without asking for rewards. It is true merit, and you must be grateful for today. I have this cause and destiny for me to protect the Three Jewels, and that this merit is greater. We are Buddhist disciples. We are deeply blessed by the Buddha. We don’t wait until we die to repay. This is very important. Otherwise, in your life, how do you practice the vows to stop evil and cultivate goodness. This is just to cut the evil and cultivate the good, not to mention the four people's transgressions. You can't be greedy and destroy your vigilance and cause arrogance. This is to keep the precepts. Not only five precepts can be kept, but many precepts can be kept. How do you know how to hold it, and then how to cultivate goodness? What should you do? Keeping fast is good practice, and pure precept is constant goodness. For this supreme goodness, you must also protect the Three Jewels, cultivate blessings, and be good.
To cut off evil and cultivate virtue should start here. You have to learn, ask for precepts, and learn precepts. This is the practice, and the practice in life starts from this. The five precepts and ten good bodhisattvas precepts are also the three roots of the old monk. The same, but his scope is wider. You choose to hold one or two of them accordingly. You have a lot of merit. If you do it like this, it takes less than a month. You will feel that your whole person has changed very much, and there are many things that you can’t figure out. The angry mood seems to have faded, or even disappeared. Many problems don’t need to be solved, so naturally there will be none. Up.
Because the karma is gone, the worries are gone, there is no time to be happy, there is no time for happiness, and there is still time to worry about the troubles, so we have to start with this precept in life, and of course the most complete precept is Nian Nian, recite this Buddha name to beat your heart, but you can’t recite the Buddha all day long. Even if you recite the Buddha, your behavior must be majestic. No one says that while chanting the Buddha while quarreling or fighting with others, you still have time to fight. , That’s not good, that’s not normal. It’s not normal. So it’s good to be able to recite the Buddha with one heart. When not, in this life, from walking, staying, sitting, and sleeping, you always have to learn how to get along with people in life, so these rules must be To learn, but also to implement.

Then this interaction must have rules and measures. But we say that we are chanting Buddha in our heart, and we do not need to say chanting.
