The first question: He asked whether we don’t need to go to other places to participate in other pujas as long as we chant Nanmu Amitabha every day very piously?For example, Lianghuangbao confession, Samadhi water confession, Vajra bao confession, etc... Do you no longer need to learn to practice Zen meditation?This is his question, which is suitable for answering now.Maybe now many fellow practitioners go to practice meetings and participate in other activities. He will ask like this. It also shows that we have not grasped the practice of our true Pure Land method. The old monk often mentioned a deep one. This sentence is definitely not true for fellow practitioners. It’s unfamiliar, so I also used this fellow practitioner’s question today to give everyone this opportunity and talk about this issue by the way. It’s also very good. Our Master Master has a lecture that is the key to whether we can learn or not. .
There is a verse that he said: "The world of bliss, inaction, nirvana, and miscellaneous good will be difficult to reproduce, so the Tathagata chooses the teachings and teaches Amitabha to rehabilitate." This verse is very important. It tells us that the key to achievement is to be specialized. The factor that cannot be achieved when returning to college is due to the miscellaneous good deeds. As we mentioned a few days ago, our method is very simple, as long as you nod your head, you can go there. Then why say now: Miscellaneous good will be hard to come by!
If we have people who are sincere and eager, would you be able to follow the fate and miscellaneous kindness? Will it? In the few days you really came here today to listen to the lecture, what mentality do you have?I want to learn how to become a Buddha. If it is for this purpose, then the intention is correct. Then if you can further understand and truly understand the key to the faithful rebirth, especially through this verse, we will even more. Clearly, if you really want to be able to die, you really believe in your wishes, and you must be sure to die, you must have this condition.Although it is very simple, you still need to have it, if you don't even believe in your wishes, there is no way to achieve it.
Then the look of faith and desire, one of its looks, is definitely what you have shown, why do you ask for a birth?Of course, I feel the suffering in this world, and of course I want to be very beautiful in the world of bliss. If it is true, then you absolutely cannot want to run around, go to meditation and practice other repentance methods. Kindness means that your faith and eagerness have not really reached this standard. It is your self-righteousness. Anyway, I am going to be right... This world is very bitter, that is, your mouth is going to go, but your heart is not going to go.So your actions follow your arrogant mind, running here and there, your mind can’t stay in one place.Let me give you another example. If your husband tells you: He loves you very much, he loves you alone, and then runs around to make girlfriends after he finishes speaking. Is what he said is true or false? Very simple The truth, right?
If he just loves you alone, if this is what he believes to be true and sincere, then he should manage your relationship wholeheartedly, it is impossible to double-heartedly, it should be so; if it is me, I am sure There is no way to double-heartedly, because it is impossible to be sincere, so this kind of person is also very powerful, this may only be possible if the Great Bodhisattva manifests!If half-hearted, that mind is absolutely disorganized and insincere, which means that he has not really found a way that suits him, he has no goal in his heart, your real goal is very clear and selected, and you don’t have enough time. You don’t have enough time to walk this path, and you don’t have enough energy, so you don’t have enough energy to do other miscellaneous practices.
So why can't you do miscellaneous repairs?It's not that you are stingy and prevent you from going to other places, no!It is for your heart to be able to live in one place honestly and to inspire your sincerity. At the same time, we concentrate on one place to concentrate our firepower. Our achievements are easier. This truth is also very simple.
There used to be a lecture on the Fa in Taiwan. It took us three years and four months to learn art from a teacher. This is the teaching of the older generation.Then during these three or four months, you must have been studying with your master wholeheartedly. If you run around, is it possible that you can complete your studies in three or four months? That's impossible!The technology in the world is still like this. We are the method of enlightenment. We are just kindergarten ability. We are going to be promoted to a doctoral graduate school all of a sudden, so how can you go if you don't concentrate?So our method is very simple, it doesn't rely on our own ability at all, because we don't have the ability, and we can't hold the five precepts. How can you go about it?It all depends on the power of Amitabha Buddha.
Therefore, we must be more sincere. The "Guan Jing" talks about sincerity, deep heart, and revolving aspirations. The eighteenth wish talks about "the most faithful and happy", which focuses on "this heart must be sincere."There are no other conditions, no matter how you recite the Buddha?No matter how stupid you are, even if you are demented, mentally retarded, child, old Bodhisattva, even if you are five evils and ten evils, it does not matter! Because the more you suffer, Amitabha must save you first. Amitabha has the ability to complete , You can’t fail him in any question, I’m afraid you don’t really want to go, then he really can’t help you!Which one do you want?I ask you, you can't answer it yourself, can you?
So this is a very simple truth. If you really want to achieve it, no matter what method you want to practice; if you are interested in meditation, go to do it, you just need to take care not to be obsessed with it. Achievement is certainly not as fast as the Pure Land method. It is recognized by Goode.All sects also return to the world of bliss for survival. It is indeed very hard to rely on their own efforts. All sects admire the Pure Land Method.So what's more, we must also understand our roots. Indeed, this method is the most suitable for us to study. Only when we study the Pure Land Method can we achieve success and see some results.So of course we have to be very attentive and pious to recite the phrase "Namo Amitabha", no miscellaneous cultivation is required.
So what is specialization?What is miscellaneous repair?Master Shandao also gave us a very detailed instruction. He divided the entire practice of the Pure Land Method into five positive actions: [Reading, Observation, Praise, Praise and Offerings] This is very close to the theory of the reincarnations of the Tianqin Bodhisattva. , It’s just that each person’s wording and the focus of the explanation are different, roughly this is the five disciplines.
[Reading] Reading the classics, [observing] observing the world of bliss, and so on, [worship] means worshipping the Buddha, [name] is our chanting of the Buddha by name, and [praise and offering] means that we are self-interested and altruistic. The method tells others, it is admiration.Admire the method of offering, self-interest and altruism, these five practices are considered righteous practices, not miscellaneous practices.
So if you want to worship confession, and you like the practice, then there are not many aspects of pure land confession at present, and there are other pure land confession methods. The three-time system advocated by the old monk is acceptable, and the scope of it is probably not out of these five types. Positive.However, Master Shandao further instructed us. Among the five types of righteousness, there are points to help, namely righteousness, there is a master and a deputy, righteousness is called righteous concentration karma, which is called chanting of Buddha.The other four are called helpers.There is no need for assistance, but no righteousness, and there must be no righteousness.So if fellow practitioners still like to read the scriptures, worship confession (specially referring to the Pure Land Confession method), these are all ok, it is an assistant, but don’t forget that you must recite the Buddha. [Faith, willingness, and action] [Action] is to recite the Buddha, so reciting the Buddha is the main thing.
Then if you learn more effectively, I believe you will definitely let go, and there is only one Buddha's name left. I personally have such a feeling, and it is indeed like this.The old monk also said that if you die and are confident and confident, then you can let go of everything else in the scriptures.It’s true, I feel it deeply, and it’s not that I can let it go, but I naturally want to let it go. Then I’m here to connect with you all. I do what I want to do. I don’t have anything I want to do. I only have to recite the Buddha's name. From the bottom of my heart, I really like to read and do, and I know that it is the most important thing.If you have naturally developed to this level, you are not forced to do so, and it is not that you should do this, but you have naturally developed to such a level, then you really have really deepened.
What Master Shandao said is the karma of right concentration. Rightful righteousness, concentration is the concentration of meditation. Your mind is very settled in this method. The word "right concentration" on this Buddha name is also a kind of meditation skill.If you have a way to recite only one Buddha's name, your mind is set.You read the scriptures. We just talked about this reading and observation service. This should be in the three scriptures. The Pure Land is based on the scriptures. The scope of the Three Classics and One Theory is not other. It must be in the Pure Land Classics and Related Classics. Only then can it be used as a helper, the real practice, the core practice is to recite the name of Buddha.
This is the Master Shandao, who will come again by Amitabha Buddha, and our second ancestor of Jingzong, gave us detailed teachings, which were very detailed.So according to your own preferences and your root nature, you can adjust it yourself. This will make it clear, what is specialization? What is miscellaneous cultivation?What is post-rehabilitation? [Teaching Amitabha Specialist] is what you specifically call this Buddha name, which is a junior high school. This is not only a specialization, but also a specialization. This "specialist", the first special meaning is actually you Wuzhengxing is already considered a specialization.But "re-specialization" and then more professional, and then more professional, that is a Buddhist name, only to modify the karma-Zhengding karma.Does that understand?In this way, everyone can distribute their homework by themselves, and they must focus on chanting Buddha.
It's really your true faith and desire. It's very clear. You really believe that there is Amitabha in the Paradise of Bliss. He made forty-eight vows for us. He became a Buddha before ten kalpas. These vows are fulfilled. You believe in the proof of the Buddhas in the ten directions. , There is no doubt at all, then we really see through the various plights in our own world, let go, and say that we can go immediately, without hesitation, without a second thought, we will leave immediately, then this It is XNUMX%-faith and willingness are sufficient.
If this is the case, then you can really let go of everything. Letting go doesn't mean that you don't need work and family, no!It’s because you don’t have to do miscellaneous repairs anymore, don’t run around, don’t talk about worshipping, let alone other scriptures, you can let go of everything.You are also saying: This method is close to graduation, and you are just waiting to get your graduation certificate.Your graduation qualifications have been reached, so you can, as long as you recite this Buddhist name, you can let go of everything else.Then do the work that should be done as much as possible and help others as you wish, but don't care about anything in your heart, don't nostalgia, really let go, and only put this Buddha's name in your heart, then you are really a bodhisattva who is very close to the world of bliss.
And if you can really do this, you are actually relieved right now. Since everything in your world, your husband takes care of your family, your wife takes care of your husband and children, and your relatives and friends care about each other. These things are because they are responsibilities, because they are karma. So we try our best.However, what we have done in our hearts is the same as if we haven't done it, and we won't follow the thoughts. This is called the director without hindrance.This level is relatively deep. Everyone has to experience it by yourself. There are things you can do as much as you can, but there is no gain or loss, no preferences, and no complaints. From morning to night, there is only one Buddha's name in your heart. Let go of everything, then may I ask Do people like you get annoyed?will not.It doesn't matter to you when the sky falls, you just die, "right?
In that case, all the troubles in life include good times. Your family will make you greedy. The more you love him, the more worried you are. When it's over, how will he change in the future!Will there be an affair, what will happen?Your heart is always following the people and things around you, and you are always feeling your heart. How can this kind of person be at ease? So our heart is to live on the Buddha's name, live on the way to Buddha, then!All the troubles in your life, now! It can be said that they are completely resolved.
Is it possible? It is theoretically possible. It may not be possible for everyone to do it. It really takes effort.But now you know this theory and know this method, you try to do it, your mind, XNUMX% of the time is to release the Buddha's name, XNUMX% to release the world law, then you will get XNUMX% liberation, if your mind is only two If you become a Buddha, then you will only have XNUMX% liberation, and XNUMX% of this time spirit is still moving with all the illusions in the world, then your skill is relatively poor, and this is up to you to decide.
So we have to see through "everything is a illusion." Those of us like relatives and friends are so in love with these people, maybe it is your debt collection, he makes you worry about him, you are willing to die for him, this is really a murder. Bloody! The most ruthless! You will know how to protect yourself in your bad realm and evil destiny. If the kinsman comes, you will guard against yourself, but you will be less likely to be hurt by him, even if the damage is limited; on the contrary, It's the one that makes you so greedy, that is the biggest grievance creditor, and makes you really willing to die for him, and then you will have a relationship for the next life in your next life. It's endless!This is scary, so don't be so stupid.
We must know that if we have studied the Prajna Sutra, the Diamond Sutra also says: "All Dharma is like a dream bubble" All Dharma, including this person, thing, and species.We are in this scene, listening to the scriptures here, and it seems that six kinds of accomplishments are sufficient: a place, a lecturer, an audience... all kinds of causes and conditions seem to exist, right? But after a few days our Fa conference is consummated, then After a while...A few more years...Are there any years?It seems to have!It seems not!Including how many things we have experienced in our lives since we passed today, from childhood to adulthood, when you think about it, what do you remember, are there any? Or not? It's right to say yes, it's right to say no, if yes is false Have.Temporarily it is due to the harmony of fate, but in reality it is not.Because it is a gathering of causes and conditions, it becomes a phenomenon. When the causes and conditions are scattered, there is no such thing. Therefore, it has its own emptiness, "the emptiness" does not exist, "there is nothing, where can the dust be caused?", right?
The Buddha's nature is pure and untainted.There is nothing but our delusion, "One thought ignorance produces three details, and the state is predestined to grow six roughness."Slowly all kinds of this phenomenon appeared in ten realms, and then we were attached to it as being. If we face these ten realms, we will see it through immediately; don’t lie to me, I know you are fake, then you hurt If you can't stop me, you will have no influence on me. My heart is still as it is. Then you are qualified, that is, to practice in the realm of separation and phase, that is, the Great Bodhisattva, but we still don't have this skill.
Therefore, we have to take advantage of the power of Amitabha Buddha and put the name of "Amitabha Buddha" in mind. It is best for twenty-four hours. You can rest as long as you can, and even sleep. Some people can dream of chanting Buddha at night. , This is really hard work.At other times, don’t say: we most often hear from fellow practitioners that there is no time to recite the Buddha, and I don’t have time to listen to the sutras. Then you have time to create karma. You have to distinguish what is important. There is only one thing. Things are the most important thing, to die, really! I’m talking about the most ultimate, the most ultimate, the highest standard, not requiring each of you to be able to do it, if you can do it, you are the most rooted person, not an ordinary person, truly If you understand the truth, you can really do it, why!Only by dying for life can you have unlimited life, become a Buddha, and get all the magical powers, wisdom, and merit. What are you doing here?There is a stinky skin, a lot of innocent creditors, what's so good!Really smart people can go now and go right away.
So that day, an old Bodhisattva was very excited when he heard it. He stepped down and said, "Master, I will go with you right now." I said, "Wait a minute, don't get me wrong. I want to go too, but I also I can’t leave, I’ll wait for Amitabha to pick it up.” But just to have this kind of mood, that’s right, it’s not irresponsibility, don’t immediately apply the values of the world, you can become a Buddha immediately, you will be fully satisfied right away. With all the supernatural powers, you can truly help your family. Keeping it will only drag others down and create karma. What else can you do for everyone?It's very limited, so we really need to understand that when we seek to die quickly, we are going to become a Buddha, to gain immeasurable light and life, not to die. Does the old Bodhisattva understand it?
This concept must be established first, because most people we have long misunderstood that chanting Buddhism is to cause people to die; even to say that they really heard the name of the Buddha after seeing the dead die, so the Amitabha and the dead are drawn as equals. number.It is not auspicious to hear Amitabha Buddha. Our family will be unlucky. Don’t hear this, otherwise it seems like this is...because we see the coffin shop, we quickly pass by and walk quickly, and feel that it is not auspicious. That what?It is a wrong idea to get bad things and the like, because after a person dies, no one, any buddha or bodhisattva can give him the greatest salvation, only Amitabha has the power.
Therefore, the dead have to recite Amitabha Buddha and live in the blissful world, which just shows that only Amitabha Buddha is the most powerful, and only He can hold people even when they die.Otherwise, if you see a person dying, what can we do to help him? We can't do anything. The Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have not made a vow to help this. They are busy teaching students, and they have not made a vow to attract you.Regardless of your deceased's affairs, the Earth Store Bodhisattva is also waiting for you to go to hell. He is waiting for you over there to rescue you. Each has its own wishes.So you really need to see clearly, this method; recitation of Buddhism, and survival in the pure land is the most important thing.If you really understand this, you cannot do miscellaneous cultivation unless you do not know the method; then this fellow practitioner may not know the method and has not mastered the method he specializes in, but he also has good roots, so I am just here. Take this opportunity to tell everyone in detail, what is specialization and what is miscellaneous cultivation?You must specialize in order to be able to talk to the Buddha.
Then he asked the second question. He mentioned the question of induction. He said that there were some enlightenments by the masters. He had heard some enlightenments from the masters before, saying, "We must rely on ourselves to become a Buddha. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas only guide us on how to walk one way; we don’t ask for them. Induction, talk about blessing his power.” Now the master teaches us that only by the compassionate power of Amitabha can we be reborn in the Western Paradise.How to say this!So he hasn't figured out this concept yet, just...
Because what we have said in the past few days, everyone has only listened to it for a few days. Except for the fellow practitioners such as Mahalari, who have already established a good state, it is the first time for some other practitioners to listen to it. Doubts arise.There are indeed some teachings that are different from what we have heard before, because what we have learned before is not effective; therefore, we must learn from the master of good guidance, learn our patriarchal virtues, and go further, more core, more effective, and more pure. The Pure Land Method is more suitable for us.The concepts of the previous practice were not wrong, it was more difficult! So the old layman Li Bingnan said: "Of XNUMX people, two or three people can indeed go." We have no share.
That’s why we need to go deeper and study and research. I have been specializing in the Pure Land Method for fifteen years. In the first twelve years, I was still unable to work hard. , There is no way to grasp the core, that is the cause and fate.Because there was no thought of Master Shandao at that time, what we have learned in the past is also this concept.That’s why when I taught the Fa to you three years ago, I said, “Buddhas and Bodhisattvas teach us only methods. We still need to cultivate ourselves.” I also said the same. Isn’t that wrong? That’s right!
But it’s not the core theory of our true Pure Land. It’s the thoroughfare taught by Master Yi Yinguang. You can practice precept and concentration according to your own strength. Of course, that’s the case. If you cultivate by yourself, of course the Buddha and Bodhisattva tell you the method. fixed.Teach you how to maintain the precepts and how to practice meditation, and then become wise.So that's correct, but it's a thoroughfare method, not our pure land special method.In our Pure Land Method, why we were unable to study well before is because we are relying on our own two-strength practice.
Tomorrow we will learn XNUMX wishes, XNUMX wishes, XNUMX wishes, and XNUMX wishes; I will use the classics to make detailed analysis and comparison for you. Convenient, because it has to fit the foundations of different roots.All beings in the ten methods of Amitabha Buddha must be saved. It is not that everyone has such deep roots and merits. As soon as he hears it, he immediately believes and accepts it. Therefore, our previous concept is the practice of two powers of oneself. On the one hand, we also rely on Amitabha Buddha to die. Here is the introduction; on the one hand, I have to practice Kungfu as soon as possible. Every day, Amitabha must work hard to make a piece of work to be sure... But if you follow this practice, it is not wrong, but it is difficult, why?You are still not sure before you cultivate until you die, do you believe it or not?
If this is the case, it means that it is difficult, and it is difficult to achieve. If you have no confidence in your death, then you can definitely say that you really have no hope to go... Why?There is no problem with Amitabha Buddha. Amitabha Buddha has been waiting by our side every day ten kalpas ago. He wants to lead us and stand-by there at any time. He is very anxious. Not only is he ready at any time and does not leave at any time, but he is also very anxious. Waiting for us, but the problem is on our side!Because of our mentality, we feel uneasy. We don’t have confidence in ourselves. That all dharma is created by the mind. The Huayan Sutra says that you have no confidence. You think that I can’t be reborn. This idea that I can’t be reborn is obstructed. You really can't die, it's done for you!Right? So the more you have to practice Kung Fu on your own, the more anxious Amitabha's side: Come on, don’t practice!I have been waiting for you here for a long time.
These obstacles are caused by ourselves, because our roots are not deep enough. We didn’t encounter it before. I encountered it three years ago. As soon as I met me, the reaction was very strong, because I have twelve years of teaching. Basically, I have also worked hard to recite Buddhism, so I knew it, and I knew it once I met that this is really a good thing and a real way of liberation.And my confidence in the past three years has grown day by day. It can be said that after I believed it at that time, after I passed away, I decided to develop my confidence, and I stopped retreating, and it has not retreated. In the past three years, it has grown day by day, and I can prove it to everyone. .
And it’s not just me, but too many fellow daoists, so I said...what’s the sense-seeking thing we’re talking about here?It’s not what you usually talk about, it’s not what we said in the concept... deliberately seeking magical induction, seeking light, seeking Buddha, seeking flight, etc.... That kind of induction is your kind of greedy heart, of course it won’t work. .You can't ask for this kind of induction. The induction I'm talking about is that we should recite the Buddha with sincerity, faith, and eagerness.Only in this way can we communicate with Amitabha's thoughts, and become one with each other.
These two have completely different meanings. The induction we are talking about here is the corresponding meaning.Corresponding to the mind of the Buddha, of course we receive the blessing right now, and then receiving the blessing means receiving the merits of Amitabha.We can eliminate karma right now, think about eight billion kalpas of life and death felony, and decide to have faith when we are born in the next life, and we will be sure to become a Buddha at the end of the day.As soon as the Buddha's light came, Amitabha attracted you. It was about this kind of induction.Then you say you don’t require induction blessing power--other power, blessing power, other power is a must.The old monk also often said that we ask for the blessings of the Buddha, and no one of the great virtues of the patriarch does not emphasize the blessings of the Buddha.What power do we sentient beings have? There is only "greed, hatred, delusion, and suspicion."We are able to encounter the Dharma today, to be able to arouse joy, and be able to truly practice and practice, all of which are blessed by the Buddha's power and the Three Jewels.Our own ordinary people are the three poisons. Apart from sin or sin, there is nothing that can give you the root of goodness.
A rotten thing, will it become fresh by itself? No.There must be a blessing from external forces, such as disinfecting you, and then what to do... to make you healthy, right?We must rely on external forces. We are already a rotten piece of flesh, and there is no way to save it. We can't save it on our own.So today we can regenerate the root of good thoughts. I hope to cut off evil and cultivate goodness. I hope to throw away this ordinary sin. I want to become a Buddha and get pure, all kinds of merits and benefits. This is a kind of good thoughts and good wishes. We ourselves have three poisons. , How can this kindness be born!Of course, it is the blessings of Buddha that you can start to change.
Of course, we also have Buddha-nature. If we don’t have Buddha-nature, we can't change it no matter what. It just triggers you. We must rely on the power of the Buddha to help us bring out the good roots. Three poisons are removed.Then, in the end, our original Buddha-nature is present. This is the truth. So no matter what you do, you always ask for the blessings of the Buddha. Without the blessings of the Buddha, you can't do anything. Is that clear?The induction we talked about is this, so as to say: You said that we can only be reborn into the blissful world with the compassionate power of Amitabha Buddha. You must come and listen to it tomorrow.
Today we will also talk about some teachings in this area, especially the thoughts of Master Shandao. His works have a total of five and nine volumes, and his representative work is "Guanjing Si Tie Shu".Because these are all relatively...He actually said the truth very plainly. The teaching of Master Shandao is different from the patriarchs of other sects. The teaching of the Fa is different from other patriarchs... The other patriarchs taught it very well, let you listen. The realm is so high, but you have no way to go. Xiu; Master Shandao is very simple, so you can quickly grasp the method, but it is a bit of classical Chinese, so I am afraid that you will not have the ability to read on your own.If you have the ability, you can read it by yourself. You can read all five nine-volume works on the thoughts of the master master.
It is because it is not easy for fellow practitioners to learn on their own, that's why we take the initiative to explain.And what I’m talking about is the most core part. As long as you listen to it for more than five days, you can generally master it. Even if you have a good root, you can tell it to you in just one day... You just believe in Amitabha and rely completely on him. If you really want to make a wish for rebirth, you will decide to become a Buddha by reciting the Buddha honestly. After you have spoken it, you will be finished with one sentence, depending on whether you believe it or not.Sungen merit is deep enough, if you believe it, you will graduate.
But there are too few such people, so you have to be reasonable and clear.Then this truth, at least you have listened to it for a few days, why?It’s because we have to compare our different concepts with our previous concepts, so that you can re-understand and master more precise practices. For example, if we practiced the Dharma in the past from other powers, then you have to rely on yourself on the one hand and the power of the Buddha on the other. It’s okay to rely on Buddha power, but there are problems on your own, and the problem is big.So you are not sure when you die, there is no Fa in your studies, no confidence, and every day you don’t have confidence.This is not a problem with the Fa. People can achieve great virtues, because they can really practice kung fu, but we can’t do it, right?
Are you sure to recite the Buddha Samadhi?In fact, it is not difficult to recite the Buddha Samadhi, but it is necessary to master the correct method. If you follow the concept of Master Shandao, there is no pressure at all, and you are happy, because you are grateful to Amitabha, and because you know the power of the name, you will naturally rejoice. If you read this kind of mood and this kind of mood, you can actually recite the Buddha Samadhi in three years.In the Tang Dynasty, the people taught by Master Shandao had only promoted the Pure Land for three years. Every household in Chang'an City was a Buddhist chanting. Don’t be a monk when you were alive. Many laymen have attained samādhi chanting.

Let's not say that we have heard different practices now, and the one who is good at guiding the master is correct.I learned it wrong before, no! You should be careful to slander the Three Jewels like this, be careful that you become ungrateful, how can you have the present without the past, and don't be so separate and persistent.This is because the seasons and conditions of each stage are different, and our good roots and virtues are different, so there will be different causes and conditions to achieve us.Good and adversity are our increasing conditions, we must be grateful! Don't say that we get this now, the previous ones were bad.Ordinary people are like this, so we must avoid this mentality.Now that I have the opportunity to introduce this best to you, you are very happy to accept it. That is your blessing. I am only here to report on behalf of Amitabha.I am grateful and I came to testify, but after you accept it, you should not slander the past or slander other people at the same time. That is not allowed, it should not be.
Because there are different methods of cultivation, just like the two powers of others are also very good, but it really can be learned and achieved, that is, it needs to be more rooted, and it is also suitable for them and there is nothing wrong with it.How we can slander depends on the merits of each person and which method you correspond to.So tomorrow I will talk in more detail.Based on the fact that we haven’t talked about this part today, we will talk about it tomorrow. The standards of the past students are different in difficulty and difficulty; the simplest of course is that we mentioned it first in the past few days. Actions must be done until the heart is not chaotic and righteous thoughts are present. Belief must be true, and that true wish is a thought. Who can do it if it is not born true? So it is really wrong. The patriarch of other sects is... The so-called wrong solution means to stand on other self-reliant practice and study the method, and explain the pure land method from the causal point of view of precept, concentration and wisdom.
That set is fine, but it is not the real pure land method. It has not grasped it. It has not been understood from the perspective of pure land method, especially causality and Buddha power, Amitabha's wish.So he can’t get to the core. Amitabha’s old man is in the world of bliss. He knows this. It’s awful! No! I want to find a way, so I become a master of good guidance, come here to set the ancient and modern times, and write a " "Guanjing Si Tie Shu".It is known that the ancient and the present, and the ancient virtues are also recognized, and our old monks also agree, so that the Bodhisattva's talk is different from the Buddha's, and he also needs to listen to the Buddha, so what he said in the past is not counted. Everyone has a chance to take a look.
However, because of the old monk’s Dharma, he is not complete... His main promotion is the "Blessed Life Sutra", so he occasionally quotes the sentence of Master Shandao. There is no series of such explanations. Each person has his own promotion. The Dharma Destiny.The old monk has to deal with so many people, with different foundations, and he can speak from the deep to the shallower, and he speaks very broadly.So it is not easy for us to distinguish clearly for a while, which is not easy for beginners.We have been specializing in research and teaching for more than ten years, and it is not easy to master it. The longer we learn, the more we will master. But a lot of things are treasures. So which one is the most precious? You don't know, do you understand it?We have learned a lot. Does it seem to have obtained a lot of Seven Treasures? Which one of the Seven Treasures is a real diamond? You can’t find it, we don’t have the ability to find it, so we have to rely on the great virtues of our Patriarch. Help us guide.
So our concept, what you have heard in the past few days, if there is anything different, this is what the Master Shandao, Amitabha himself said.Gu Dade recognized this "Guanjing Si Tie Shu"-regularization of ancient and modern.The past and the present are the past and the present, and the regularization is to correct some of their mistakes, or to say that they are not very clear, and are not very central.The purpose of Master Shandao for making this "Guanjing Si Tie Shu" is here, and he also stated it clearly. In the past, the various...not really correct core practices, he has to explain it. Only in this way, we can benefit from the cultivation of all sentient beings!If we didn't encounter this method today, I believe that we all still study, we still can't do our best, and we are distressed day by day.This is because we are very... hard to grasp the core on our own. It’s not that the Patriarch’s Great Virtue and the Teacher’s Law has a problem, no! It’s that we are hard to grasp, so I can’t learn it myself for twelve years, but I must I am very anxious to achieve, so I have been delving into this aspect of things until I am sure that I am sure.
I stopped for three years and haven't come out to speak. I follow the fate, and it is not my purpose to lecture.But sentient beings need us, we must be motivated, so it is true that like this time, we have learned a few times in more than a month. Every fellow practitioner is very happy to hear it. Amitabha’s blessing! I am the messenger of Amitabha, and I am here to speak. That's it.I am also a person who was saved by Amitabha Buddha. I will testify to you, and especially the fellow practitioners we learned. I am... and more importantly, the fellow practitioners who learned.I also have Dharma connections in other Sangha groups. Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the mainland also have Dharma connections. However, I still focus on fellow practitioners of the Society. Why?Because of the fellow practitioners, the fellow practitioners who learned to learn to specialize in the Pure Land, each of them suffers as much as I am.
There used to be this stage, just like my previous stage, and there are still many people who are still suffering. Of course, I have to help these fellow practitioners as soon as possible, so that I can feel at ease and master the correct practice first.So although our opportunity to listen to the lecture is not long, but as long as you have the opportunity to hear it and you can accept it, you can actually say at the moment: Most of the solution has been solved, and even the confidence that you can generate right now and decide to die is normal. , It should be.If some of them are suspicious and heavier, then you will continue to rehabilitate.So our magic weapon may also circulate this time. You can keep listening again, ten times, one hundred times, two hundred times, and keep listening to protect your confidence from growing.In fact, if you are truly gaining faith, you will not retreat right now, and you are afraid that your true faith and desire are not true, and your strength is very weak, so you have to keep listening.
The third question: "Diamond Sutra" says: "There is no form of self, no form, no form of sentient beings, and the form of lifeless persons." But a deceased person, I can't understand these two words, and he has to be attached to the form of Amitabha. Citation, it probably means this, how can I say it!So he... I said he didn't master some principles of the practice.The Diamond Sutra belongs to the empty door, and the Amitabha Sutra belongs to the door.Shi Zun's life lectures are divided into two categories: one is empty, and the other is yes.So some of the scriptures are about - from being there, to teach sentient beings.Some scriptures like the Prajna series are from the void, speak of void, what are they telling you?Everything is illusion and empty.Then our Pure Land Method is like the Amitabha Sutra: "From the West there have been more than ten trillion Buddhas. There is a world name called bliss, and there is Buddha in the land..." There is a Buddha, right? "Amitabha, now it is said..." (Yes) Yes, so what we are practicing today is the Pure Land Method; we have to learn from the Pure Land Method and the theory. These are two different ways to get started, and they are the same when entering the core.
What is reality?There is no difference in emptiness, so is emptiness, and so is emptiness, this is the reality, but we are now beings, if you tell them about emptiness, they will get rusty...the more you listen, the more confused you will be when you hear empty and empty like this, others talk about emptiness, It’s not the emptiness we imagined. Prajna’s emptiness still has "being", not what we call emptiness in our concept!The void with nothing, so his question is: "Then we are so obsessed, and Amitabha Buddha takes it in. Isn't that contradictory to the Diamond Sutra, breaking the four?"
So you call yourself asking for trouble. You take irrelevant scriptures and practice methods to find trouble for yourself and create contradictions. In fact, if you don't follow this approach and start first, then I would like to ask you?Okay, now you can rely on the Diamond Sutra. All four phases are empty, nothing, no self, no one, no sentient beings, and lifeless ones. Then where are you going when you die?You have to go to Elysium by yourself!Go by yourself!correct!Let me ask you, don't you be obsessed with the image!Don't cling to Amitabha to pick you up, because you think the Diamond Sutra says that there are no four aspects, no illusion, then where is your spiritual consciousness going?Go nowhere.Don’t go anywhere. If you really have attained emptiness yourself, the Buddha would call this kind of person called Jiaoya succumbing, and realize that Arahantship lives in this emptiness and clings to this emptiness, not to mention it, let alone You also don't have the ability to prove to this state.
So your emptiness is emptiness, not living in that emptiness, clinging to that emptiness, it is emptiness, don’t know where to go?So don't talk about that noble, honest practice, and honestly recite the Buddha's name, start with the door, the great virtue of the Patriarch also said, "It is better to be a deacon to abolish the principle, not to be a deed."Honestly, you are obsessed with Amitabha. You can only be attached with the name of Amitabha, but you can't do anything else. Why?The name of Buddha Amitabha takes you to rebirth and takes you out of life, and your other worldly things are to catch you and prevent you from leaving, so the Buddha name can be attached. The more attached, the better. Wait until you see Amitabha Buddha pass away. In the world of bliss, you will have attained the truth, and you will become a Buddha. At that time, there is no such thing as attachment or non-attachment. The problem is completely solved. The attachment will not hinder you. If you really need to rely on it. It is very dangerous to die on your own.
We all know that Emperor Wenchang’s yin-style writing was often advocated by old monks. When Emperor Wenchang was in the Zhou Dynasty, he also chanted Buddha to seek death. He relied on himself. He didn’t ask Amitabha to help him. He wanted to go to Paradise by himself, and then On the way, I encountered a situation. Passing a mountain, it was beautiful. You can see that we have a lot of mainland China. The mountains and rivers are beautiful. Then he passed through the sky and saw this beautiful scenery!There was a thought of greed. When you like him in your heart, there is actually a component of greed. You did not realize that this flower is so beautiful, this is so beautiful, when he thinks about it, he immediately reincarnates and becomes a mountain god, relying on himself. It's dangerous to go.
That’s why Amitabha Buddha wanted to make a vow, the twentieth vow, the dying man, and his old man personally came to pick him up, so that you would not go the wrong way, cast the wrong fetus, and go to another place in the world of bliss. Laziness, because the whole process is so perfect and so Dharma joy, you can have a way to go in the direction of Western Paradise. During the journey, you must be happy and full of Dharma joy, so it’s easy to stagnate in laziness. It’s a place like this country, where I enjoy that kind of dharma and all kinds of changes. It’s too unsafe on my own. Otherwise, why does Amitabha Buddha want to make this dying wish? He will never do that kind of icing on the cake, and Amitabha can’t do it. This kind of thing, if you can do this kind of thing, it’s not a Buddha, and your realm is not yet complete, so your question is superfluous. You made a mistake. The pure land method is completely based on the pure land method’s theoretical classics, then you have to cultivate the vajra. Sutras, according to the Diamond Sutra, you go to Zen, go through the empty door, one empty and the other, there is no way you have two feet, one foot from the empty, one foot from the existence, how do you enter? You can't! You can't wait for the foot to break Two doors, right?
Don't make trouble for yourself, so since we have this cause and condition today, and we encounter this method, you should be honest and cling to it tightly with this Buddha's name.We don’t ask for induction, we are directly connected with Amitabha’s heart and soul, and we can interact with the Buddha. At that time, when we see the light and see the Buddha statue, it is naturally felt. It is not what we ask for. Naturally, these phenomena will appear because of your heart. When you are pure, you and Amitabha’s heart, when the heart and heart are in contact, you can see the realm of Amitabha Buddha. Of course you can see the realm of Amitabha Buddha. When you see the light and see the Buddha statue, this is natural, not the induction we asked for. It will give you a kind of Encouragement is such a situation; go with us and ask for supernatural powers for what you want to do!This is two different things, and that is forbidden. We absolutely don't encourage it. Okay, let's just answer here.
