If you want to understand all sentient beings’ body, mouth, mind and karma, you must do it in your heart, and you must not appear to be virtuous, kind and diligent. It is false, greedy, greedy, evil, treacherous, vicious and difficult to invade. It is regarded as a snake and scorpion. Although it has three karma, it is called the goodness of miscellaneous poison, and it is also called the deed of falsehood. It is not called the real karma. Those who set off with such peace of mind, even with hardships and mind and body, go eagerly at twelve o'clock in the day and night, like a scorched one, the goodness of the miscellaneous poisons, those who want to return to this miscellaneous poisonous journey, and those who seek survival in the pure land of the Buddha, must not return. If we are still mixed with all kinds of false and miscellaneous good intentions, even though our body, mouth and mind, the body is doing good, and the mouth is also chanting Buddha, the mind thinks that we have made a wish. In fact, these are all deeds of miscellaneous goodness and falsehood. Therefore, our practice, especially our chanting of the Buddha, wants to be reborn in the blissful world. Even if we have begun to act in behavior, we still can’t feel at ease!Because we are easy to deceive ourselves and others, this is our habit of robbing from beginning to end, so Master Shandao specially reminds us that if we do not use our heart to inspire our sincerity, those who want to return to this miscellaneous journey to survive the pure land of the Buddha must do this. Not too.That is to say, we can’t rebirth, so why are there not many people in our Pure Land Method. The "Amitabha Sutra" states clearly that it must be "more virtuous roots, more merits, and more causes and conditions." There are no other conditions for rebirth in the Pure Land, even if it is. Breaking the precepts of the five negatives and ten evils can lead to rebirth. I’m afraid you don’t really want to rebirth, so whether you can rebirth, or even if you can rebirth at the top grade, is the key here. It does not require you to have the skill in recitation of the Buddha. The meditation of recitation is higher. Can be top grade, no.Arahant's meditation is high enough, right?If he does not have the heart to make a wish to survive, or if he has made a wish, but the sincerity is not enough, because some people who rely on self-reliance always have a somewhat arrogant habit, and are not used to relying on the Buddha and others XNUMX%, so the habit may be There is no way to correspond very closely with the Buddha. In this way, the taste of the rebirth will not necessarily be the top grade.So don't think oops!If I read Buddhism until I have no thoughts, I will have a higher grade. Not necessarily. From this scripture and the explanation of Master Shandao, we are very clear that the key is to be sincere, and have more merits. It’s easy to show the sincerity of the talents. This kind of people are usually very honest and simple children or old Bodhisattvas. These are people who are very kind in the past.We have indeed seen from the records in the "Death to Life" and so on, those who stand and walk, and there is an old Bodhisattva who died while walking, and did not get sick. Then this must be the high-grade rebirth, and the time is coming. , Die without disease, die freely.Some stand, some sit, and some die while walking. What are the characteristics of these people?It is kindness and expertise. Professionals can show sincerity. He will never do miscellaneous cultivation. Please pay more attention to these old Bodhisattvas around you. These are the objects we want to learn. They are really the smarter people in general. The higher the higher, the more capable people are less likely to meet the conditions. Usually this kind of people are more self-reliant and not accustomed to relying on others, because they are arrogant and feel that they are good at it, so they must be obvious. Sincere, relying XNUMX% on the Buddha, it is not easy to manifest the mental behavior corresponding to the Buddha. This is inevitable.Therefore, we want to have a high grade of rebirth, and even if we want to rebirth, whether it is the upper, middle, or lower three generations, we must have these three hearts. The higher the purity of these three hearts, the higher your taste. If it’s shallow and your sincere heart isn’t that enough, it means that the middle-aged and the next-generation rebirth. The level of this grade is determined from here, so what we usually do is how to keep our roots of goodness. Xianfa, how can I be more and more humble, see my own shortcomings more and more, and continue to subdue my arrogance, until XNUMX% admit that I am a sinful life and death ordinary people, there is no way to go, only the Buddha can save us , And we must rely XNUMX% on Amitabha’s aspiration to have a chance to be liberated. If our deep mind, body, speech, and mind can reach this condition, then there is no problem in rebirth, and there is a chance for the previous generation to die. We must continue to learn and work hard in the right direction every day.

Then the Master Shandao said: "What is truth? The true heart is diligent in cultivating one’s sages and other goodness. He also admires the goodness of all sentient beings in the three karma. If it is not a good karma, he will stay away and he will not rejoice." The master further explained to us in detail, what It is truth, that is, sincerity. What we just said is from the mentality, to be sincere and sincere. Now the master tells us concretely what it is like to be true, that is, diligently cultivating from the sacred and other good things, and admires all sentient beings. Karma is good.This is what we usually talk about. A person who truly has the sincere heart and wants to live in the blissful world must completely see through and let go of this world, let go of his selfishness, and ask for only one thing. The thing is rebirth in the bliss world. Of course, there is nothing to ask for in the world. For the rest of the day, he will naturally practice diligently from the mortal and other good things, and will fully contribute to all living beings, unconditionally, such a Transformation, the manifestation of the goodness of the three karma, can confirm that the faith we are seeking to survive is sent from our true heart.I have talked about these concepts with fellow practitioners before, if you talk about it today, okay!I now have confidence in my death. It’s very simple. I now know that as long as I rely XNUMX% on the power of the Buddha and believe and wish to read the Buddha, you will feel that you have graduated. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the truth. The question is whether there is a share of you among the people who have passed away. It depends on whether your body and behavior have truly changed before the present. When will the change begin?The moment is about to change. If there is no change in the moment, and it is still as stingy as before, unwilling to give, and selfishness, then you have not made a decision when you are going to live. You have misunderstood the news.As long as you believe and wish to recite the Buddha, you can decide to rebirth right now. This is true, but because you have no true heart, the letter and wish you send is not sent from your true heart, so it depends on when your actions begin to let go and when they begin to manifest to this world. Without asking for anything, without self, you can give up everything in the world, including your own foreign and internal wealth, and live for the benefit of sentient beings with your heart and mind. This faith is true, and only when you die is truly part of it.Therefore, some fellow practitioners practiced pure land methods with a speculative mind, deceiving themselves and others. This is not acceptable. They think that they rely XNUMX% on Buddha power anyway, so I can relax and don’t do anything. That’s wrong!Then dial no cause and effect, and cause and effect will not work?The reason why the Pure Land Method is easy is not to say that there is no need to cultivate at all. How can you achieve results without cultivating the cause, but because our body and mind are now entrusted to Buddha Amitabha. Now there is no self, and this selfless moment can be integrated with Amitabha’s merits. Together, after having the blessing power of Amitabha Buddha, in the process of the three karma of body, mouth, mind, and mind, we don’t suffer, we are at ease. The reason why we can cultivate is very happy and can be cultivated but not cultivated. The difference lies in In this place, it's not that you don't need to cultivate the cause by yourself, but at this point, many people don't understand it, so some self-reliant people don't believe it. How can this be possible?There would be such a cheap thing in the world!The death of Elysium was simply skillful and convenient, not true, they didn't believe it.If it is said that there is no need to cultivate the cause, there is a result, then of course people don't believe it, even I don't believe it, there is no way to convince the intellectuals, so if this part of the truth can be understood, then they can believe it!It is indeed necessary to accumulate merit by cultivating the cause by oneself!After accumulating good roots to a certain level, you can enjoy the rewards you have cultivated. Therefore, there is no gain in pursuing the Pure Land Method. It is still necessary to cultivate the cause, but the cause of cultivation is wonderful, and the wonderful place is here. , If we rely on ourselves to cultivate the cause, there are boundless karma, and from the time you are enlightened, there will also be three great aksang karma, and the process is difficult, unbearable and tolerable. It is very hard. It is so hard for us. In terms of the fundamental nature in front of you, there is no qualification to cultivate at all, and there is no qualification to cultivate. In other words, it is impossible to achieve.But we can achieve the Pure Land Method, and we can also cultivate without hard work. It is the method of peace and happiness. It is also necessary to cut off evil and cultivate good from the three karma. However, the process of the Pure Land practice is to cultivate without cultivation, and to cultivate without cultivation. To cut off evil and cultivate good from the realm of the fruit of the Buddha, this part is very exquisite, very extraordinary and incredible, even the Bodhisattva of Enlightenment does not know it, it is completely blessed by the wisdom and wisdom of the Amitabha on the fruit of the Amitabha. The wonderful place is here. This is completely inaccessible to our thinking, but as long as we obey the words and follow the instructions, you will naturally experience this kind of fun in the process, and you will feel as if you are practicing or not. No matter whether you feel the enlightenment or not, we will always feel that the fun is constant, the joy of the Dharma is boundless, and the merits are constantly increasing. From the moment we believe in chanting the Buddha, and the faith is determined, we will be reborn and full of joy every day.And cultivating without cultivating means that although we are also breaking evil and cultivating good, we are willing to rejoice. Anyway, these are also what I don’t want. I don’t want the things in the world. The world of bliss is so extraordinary and perfect, blessings and merits are perfect. Naturally, I don’t want to be greedy. I am happy, happy, willing, and grateful, because what we give away is simply incomparable to what we will get. It’s too small a case. So it's okay, it's very comfortable and natural to let it go.Why can we have such a fun?To be able to let it go so easily, it doesn't have to be difficult to do it, it is unbearable and tolerable, just to build a house can have such different feelings, most people ask him to give up a little, oops!The pain is terrible, right?How can I give up more and more happily now, Dashe is also happy, Xiaoshe is also happy, everything is very comfortable, how can there be such a big difference?It is the blessing of the Buddha's power. The skill of the Buddha guides us. It is also necessary to cultivate the cause in order to obtain the effect. It is also the cultivation of the cause by ourselves. This is called cultivation without cultivation, and cultivation without cultivation.It’s not a trivial matter to explain this part clearly. In this direction, let’s first understand it with your heart. In the process of doing this, you will feel that you are also cultivating the sixth degree, you are also cultivating all virtuous dharma, and you are also cultivating cause and effect in the third life. According to the natural law of cultivating the cause, but compared to other methods without the blessings of the Buddha, these people who rely entirely on self-reliance, concentration, and wisdom to learn, the use and mood of the whole process are simply different, so now The fellow practitioners who we have made a vow before must examine themselves. This part is very important. You can examine whether you can really die in this life. Is your current faith in the past life safe?Is it stable?Maybe it's self-deception, when the time comes, hey!Why didn't the Buddha come, and blamed the Buddha for not working? At that time, it was too late to blame, because we will fall into three ways in all our next lives. If you want to come out and find Amitabha, you don’t know when. !Therefore, I would like to remind everyone here to observe whether our own beliefs and wishes are true from a change in our own body, speech and mind, and whether we can truly regenerate Buddha in this life. If not, we must quickly reflect on the right path and return to the right path. Have these three hearts to be sincere, deep-hearted, and willing to make aspirations.

Here we cite the example of a master of good guidance, let us recite the Buddha as a model of learning, of course, it is not necessary to meet this standard, because it is impossible for us to do it, but we can be very specific to learn. You will not be exhausted, even if it is cold, you will sweat. This is a sign of sincerity. For more than XNUMX years, there is no place to sleep, no sleep. Except for bathing, he never took off his clothes, maintained the precepts, did not commit any crimes, did not look at women, respected all people, and even novice monks did not receive gifts. Clothes, the four things are rich, they are not self-contained, and will give back to give, good food to the chef, provide for the disciples, rough and evil self-eating, cheese gluttony, no drink, all have supplements, and write "Amitabha Sutra" There are more than XNUMX volumes, and more than XNUMX paintings of the Pure Land in disguise. When you see the bad temples and the bad pagodas, you will learn to repair the camp, and the lights will continue to shine. Every year, there are three bowls and bowls, without being washed, and there is always no change. Go alone, not in the crowd, fearing to talk about world affairs and hinder the industry.” This paragraph is recorded in the "Pure Land Departure", which describes the daily life of Master Shandao, wow!This is even more diligent than these ascetic monks who are difficult to do on their own. Why is this so?Don’t we need to practice Kungfu in the Pure Land Method?Isn't all five evils and ten evils allowed to die?It is true, but even if this is the case, a truly sincere person, his appearance will naturally be more diligent than anyone else, even more than a self-reliant person, this is because of the blessings of the Buddha's power. , We practice on our own, for our own sake, for ourselves to achieve, and there is no other supporting blessings and encouragement in our hearts, the strength and energy will be much smaller. If we have the blessings of the Buddha, we are inherently inherent in this. Energy; powerful energy will be exploded. Naturally, your body behavior will increase your precepts, concentration, and wisdom, and will show more diligent aspects. This is the master Shandao giving us the Buddha recitation. It looks good.I am ashamed that I have not been able to achieve this level, but I will naturally tend to be diligent. I will feel that my precepts are more rigorous, my spiritual strength is stronger, and I am more fond of recitation of Buddha. Continuous improvement is a natural phenomenon, and there is no feeling of forced persecution at all. This is the uniqueness of the so-called peaceful practice.

In the previous paragraph, it is said that "remembering the Buddha with one heart is not exhausting." This is to describe that Master Shandao is very engaged when he is chanting. Naturally, we will also realize the chanting of Buddhism. We usually recite Buddhism for three years without the blessings of the Buddha. We are practicing Kungfu, trying to subdue the delusion, using that kind of opposing mind to treat the delusion as the enemy, and want to treat it. Cut off, that kind of mind is very hurtful, very physical, and very tired. With your own strength, this kind of mind, no matter how powerful you are, you are constantly in a state of energy consumption, so it cannot last, and the strength is also Limited, because although you have a strong mind for practicing, your delusion is a hundred times stronger than you, and it is more tenacious. The more you want to get rid of it, it will not be removed for you, so this kind of mind, mind Is it useful for three years?It didn’t make much difference. I’ve tried this. I haven’t read it for three years, but I can experience it after a few short-term retreats. The more I read it, the more my troubles become. I finally get angry and want to hit the wall. When I walked around in the room, I just wanted to bump my head on it, because the more I thought about it, the more I thought it would hurt my head, and I was troubled, so I just ran into it to see if my head hurts less. , It will be like this!Of course, this is also my own gains and losses, because there was a lot of pressure at the time, people guarded me, waiting to see the results, and I had to explain to myself, so I was under pressure.This kind of mind is wrong. The mind that wants to get rid of delusions is wrong, and it also puts pressure on yourself. Therefore, it is definitely wrong to work hard with this kind of mind, and you will definitely not see kung fu.

Master Shandao always reads about sweating even in cold weather, of course it is very diligent and devoted, but what is his reason for, he expresses his sincerity, this is because he has the sincerity, and he is joyful and joyful and naturally reveals a state. Therefore, in accordance with the Fa, the process is very happy, and then the kung fu will be accomplished naturally and unconsciously.What about sleep? "No place to sleep for more than XNUMX years, no sleep temporarily", wow!It seems that there is no need for squatters and no sleep. It is difficult for us to understand why there is no need to sleep for XNUMX years. I have not read a lot of detailed information. Some people have explained that there is no sleep. That is also possible, because of the Banzhou Samadhi. Everyone knows that we also have this practice when we recite the Buddha. You can’t sleep for XNUMX days, and you’re doing prayers all day long. You can’t sit down. If a person with a pure heart, Master Shandao has attained the samādhi chanting, he can do it at any time. Entering the world of bliss to travel freely is the same as walking in the kitchen, so in their realm, it is not impossible not to sleep for XNUMX years.In mainland China, the old monk Jingkong also mentioned in the past few years that there is an old bhikkhuni who has been reciting the Buddha all the time and has not slept for a few years. So this is not impossible. If we explain it according to the meaning of the word, "There is no place to sleep for more than XNUMX years, no sleep. "It's not impossible, and what does the Master Good Guide call?Bright monk.When he recites a Buddha's name, he utters a ray of light, so he is a person with magical powers, he manifests magical powers in this world, and it is Amitabha Buddha who will come again, so it is not surprising for him not to sleep for XNUMX years. Possibly, even if we recite the Buddha to a certain extent, we have a little bit of samādhi, our minds are less delusional, our worries are less, we are happy every day, we eat meditation, and our natural diet and sleep will be reduced. It is an inevitable phenomenon, so if we practice the method correctly, we can really reduce our sleep by practicing Buddhism. Even if we don’t have to sleep for thirty years, we can sleep for four to six hours a day. Some old Bodhisattvas You can also enter the seventh Buddha with diligence. We often hear these examples. There are also some of the teachers and fathers of mainland China who have not slept for a few years, and those who have lived to be more than XNUMX years old!They are all shown for people who recite the Buddha!So we still have a lot of room to work hard, we are not sincere enough.If we really believe in and wish to be very sincere and sincere, then we are not only showing what we are in front of us, so don’t think that we have cultivated well and are satisfied. I often think that it’s really obvious now. When I am diligent and improving day by day, I am happy to recite the Buddha month by month, I can feel it, and I often feel relieved!Think hey!Yes, yes, I will admire it myself, but compare it with the great virtues of Patriarch, alas!It's a big difference, no, no, no, no just be so content.There is still room for improvement in our sincerity, deep heart, and dedication, but this kind of improvement does not require pressure, because it is not necessary to meet this condition, but let us look at the comparison, in fact, we are still far away. !After all, we are ordinary people of the Three Poisons. Although we have already produced Dharma happiness after recitation, we have already single-mindedly lived in the blissful world. Our faith in rebirth has been determined, but we cannot be satisfied with it. We think we have achieved Consummation on our own. Of course, a person who is devoted to the Buddha will certainly appear diligent in his body, mouth and mind.Master Shandao is strict in precepts. He doesn't even look at women. He doesn't have time to look, and he doesn't have the mind to look. It's too late to see the Buddha. What are you doing?What it means is that you don’t have these thoughts in your body, speech, or mind. Of course you won’t look at it, but you have to be natural and don’t be too deliberate.When I was a layman, I set up a circulation department at home to circulate magic weapons, so I would occasionally interact with male laymen. People asked for magic weapons. Once I met a male layman and I forgot what I was talking about. Then, I remember that he was standing at our door talking to me. In my impression, he didn't look at me from start to finish. I just looked at the ground. I felt strange to this person. The feeling really felt disrespectful. , And then I’m afraid that the conversation is not clear. You know that when we talk, our eyes are facing each other. That visual can confirm whether the other party really understands our meaning, right?In other words, we have to make sure, what are you thinking while I'm talking, have you paid attention to it?Do you understand?So this gaze has this effect, but he is looking at the ground from start to finish, I wonder if he understands what I say, and I am afraid that he does not understand what I have explained, which makes me feel very uncomfortable. Don't worry, it was weird and uncomfortable, but because he was not familiar with the other party, it was difficult to talk about it. Later I learned that he was holding the precepts.Sometimes when we lay our minds and diligence, we are also very brave, but that diligence is a little too artificial, too much, and very unnatural. Usually this way of diligence and precepts can’t be maintained for a long time, because you just Do this deliberately in behavior. You don’t hold it in your heart first. You must correct it in your heart when you do anything. Then you will be natural and lasting when you reveal yourself in behavior. If you do it, you will feel awkward, and others will feel uncomfortable. If you do this, you will have problems with your studies.

Master Shandao treats everyone with respect and is very simple in his diet. Of course, he doesn’t ask for fame or fortune, so he turned to charity and wrote the "Amitabha Sutra" because there was no printing at the time and it was written. Don’t let people misunderstand us and slander us. It is a Chinese who wants to escape from this world. Regardless of the immediate responsibilities and not caring about this world, it is wrong. Look at these people who are now known as human bodhisattvas. How many people can surpass their contribution to society. In the last paragraph, he said: "Every time you walk alone, you don't go with the crowd, you are afraid to talk about world affairs, and hinder the industry." As far as we women are concerned, this solo precept is a very serious precept. I can barely be regarded as a predestined predecessor. In fact, it is also very common nowadays. It’s also the same. Because it’s inconvenient and the reasons for holding this precept are not sufficient. If you see that a country takes a person by your side, you will have to pay for one more person, airfare and various expenses, and I don’t need anyone to wait until every Everyone takes good care of this place, so it is impractical for you to bring someone by your side. This is considered from external factors. From my personal practice, I think that being alone will not hinder my practice. Coherence, especially when we are writing lectures and researching teachings, we must focus and not be interrupted. Only when we focus to a certain level will some inspiration appear. If someone pours a glass of water at any time, or asks if you are hungry... , Or if there is someone around you, you have to care about the other person. You can't treat the other person as a shadow!right?It is unavoidable to care about each other. These are all distractions to me, and they are distracting in my mind and behavior. Therefore, as far as my cause is concerned, I did not deliberately follow this precept. I also feel that for me at present, this is actually a necessary condition for me to practice more diligently. Any precepts are originally opened, covered, held, and violated, because the predestined conditions of this precept itself are on the one hand. Worrying about the insecurity of women walking alone, like this precept is very heavy for women, but there is no such precept for men. So walking alone is not a sinful thing, just to avoid some bad things. Thing happened.In addition to worrying about insecurity, the other is to prevent us from slack, so it is a preventive precept, which is not a sin in itself. Just like wine, wine is not meat, and it does not kill lives. It is a precept and preventive function. So for me, this precept can open up the predestined condition, and it is more helpful to my practice. If I take a person to behave and walk together with two people, then I will not commit a solitary practice, but for me, it is on the contrary. There are obstacles, and some unnecessary expenditures are wasted, so I dare to open the fate.Of course, I don’t encourage everyone to open up fate like me. If you really want to open up fate, you must make sure that you are really necessary, and There is no need to worry about safety, because it is destined to be really unsafe for me, and in this world, if you are afraid of insecurity, then it is not safe for men to go out alone!Does that also have to be formulated?Even if two people walk together and don't violate this precept, are those two people safe?Not necessarily!right?So looking back, we really understand our life’s fixed karma, you should do whatever you want, anyway, just feel happy and obliterate the old karma, I have this kind of mentality, and I am not so sure about my own safety or not. Caring about it, so it won’t cause me troubles about opening up, especially because I have spent most of my school time in the monastery with the public. When talking about traveling alone, of course, I just stay in the monastery when I point out the door. You won’t be guilty of this precept in the time here, but you have to open up the predestined relationship when you go out occasionally.For example, when you go abroad to promote the Dharma, it’s not convenient to bring a person. It’s often like "a bowl of food for a thousand families, traveling thousands of miles alone." I’m like this. I think it’s very comfortable, and it’s more convenient to work hard. At least no one quarrels. There is no right or wrong, this part is completely absent, so it naturally saves a lot of trouble, and it really saves a lot of time to work hard.

If you are a Buddhist practitioner who specializes in pure land, this precept will not hinder us from learning, but if you specialize in precepts, you can achieve precepts through the practice of things. If you are Hui, of course it won’t work. You can’t hold the precept of opening your predestined condition, and of course you can’t.Master Shandao continued to explain to us the sincerity, "In the true heart, the intention of karma is low and unwilling, the three realms of life and death, etc., since he is correct and repays the three karma of unwholesomeness, he must be true to his heart, and if one of the three karma of goodness, he must be true. It’s not simple inside and outside light and dark, both must be truthful, so the name is sincere.” This is to remind us especially in terms of karma, to be contemptuous and hateful, and to hate this world. Most of us just say that I don’t like the world of five desires. , I asked for the Pure Land, but it hasn’t become annoying, right?Then we have to find a way to make ourselves hateful, and we have to work hard to strengthen it. This hate will help you really see through and let go. The reason why you can't let go is because you still like it, and you still If you want to pursue wealth, sex, fame, food, and sleep, you will still like to enjoy it, and you will have a little fun in it, right?Eat some delicious food and sleep a little longer. The wealth is pretty easy to use. Lust is even more troublesome. It is the habit of troubles and habits of ordinary people since the beginning of the robbery. If your heart is still greedy for these five desires, you will not be able to talk about it. Diligence, then how diligently?It’s from here to start from here, let yourself be contemptuous and hateful. In the three realms of life and death, the sama world in front of you must be tired of abandoning. This kind of mental karma must be born. This is the most correct way. Diligence must start from here. This kind of hatred. It's not that it makes us feel annoying and uncomfortable in our lives, but it's not, but it will help us to let go of the craving for the five desires. If we really let go of it and then mention it, it is to follow sentient beings and live freely. Up.If all beings want to play, I will play with you and act with you!And the acting is more real than you, everything is good, and what you do is very happy. This is the magical power of the game. This kind of magical power of the game is acting. The acting is fake!Yes, acting is fake, but when you do it, it’s just like the real thing. It’s more serious and devoted than anyone else. There is no false and hypocritical element in it, because his heart has been purified. He is just doing it in accordance with sentient beings. To do it is to do it seriously, so the acting is the same as the real, it is like this, it is not the false interaction of ordinary beings, but the acting that comes out of sincerity and does not covet the world of phenomena, just for the sake of perseverance to all beings. My heart is actually disgusting, not what I want, what I don’t need, all I want is to go to the bliss world with one heart and one mind. If we can achieve this level, then we are now almost like the Great Bodhisattva, and we are all Those who follow sentient beings don't have any attachments, so they don't have any pain.The more you tire of this world, the more comfortable you will be in the world waiting for the days before your death. It's just Hengshun sentient beings to live. You can play whatever you want. I will stay with you. It doesn't matter if you encounter adversity, I don't care. Obstacle, anyway, my heart is tired of everything here, my heart only yearns for bliss, so whether you are good to me or not to me, I don’t care, I don’t care at all. Let go of everything, hate to give up, then what are you so sad, unhappy, upset and frustrated, completely gone.Therefore, these areas are the direction of our diligence, and we can continuously improve our realm. In addition to the higher quality of our rebirth, we can also become more and more free now. Although this method is completely dependent on other powers, it can be achieved through him. With the blessing of strength, we ourselves are constantly enlightening our own merits, we can cultivate without cultivating, and unknowingly, our own true merits have also been achieved.Therefore, it is necessary to be diligent, don't want to say, anyway, my faith has been decided, then I will do nothing, just slack off and wait for rebirth, anyway, you can die if you don't adhere to the precepts and cause evil!It’s wrong to think this way. Not only will you not be able to die, but you will also miss the opportunity to achieve merit and wasted your own time for cultivating blessings and wisdom. The life before our death is also a precious resource. The body, as well as our lives, are all matter!Tools!It is a tool for us to cultivate blessings and wisdom, so we should make the best use of everything and don't waste it!When we are tired of this world and we decide to survive, how will we live the next life?One should devote one’s body and mind to the public XNUMX%, achieve the merits of one’s morality, concentration and wisdom, and achieve one’s true blessings and wisdom. This result will not only benefit the public, but also fulfill one’s own merits. This is also done for oneself. In the end, the retribution is that you can I feel that this is the real smart person. The more you benefit others, the more you truly benefit yourself. This truth is absolutely correct.

One decides to believe that he is sinful, life and death. There is the condition of leaving, the two decided to believe deeply, that Amitabha’s forty-eight wishes can take the life of the audience without any worries, and take advantage of the strength of the other’s wishes to be sure to live." This is the meaning of "deep heart" explained to us by Master Shandao. Deep heart is conviction. , I deeply believe in Amitabha Buddha from the bottom of my heart. The scope of this belief is very wide.In this passage, Master Shandao made two points. On the one hand, we must be convinced that we ourselves are ordinary people of sin, life and death, and we have been circulating continuously since the immeasurable calamity, so we are still in the six realms of reincarnation; on the other hand, we must We are convinced that Amitabha's aspiration can capture us and save us. Don't doubt, as long as we take advantage of Amitabha's aspiration, we will all be able to die.We haven’t seen the immeasurable calamity in the past. We don’t know that it has been circulating for a long time. We have not yet been liberated. But we have to believe what the Buddha said. The Buddha has magical powers. The past lives and future worlds are all understood. Therefore, the Buddha told us to believe in this fact. Now the only chance for liberation is to take advantage of Amitabha's will, and we will be able to escape the pain that has been circulating in the Three Realms and the Six Paths since the immeasurable calamity.

The master Shandao below also has a discourse, urging us to believe in the Buddhist sayings: "Everyone who walks, but can follow this sutra, and believe that those who walk will not mistake sentient beings, why, the Buddha is satisfied with great compassion, and the truth is... All the sayings of the Buddha are orthodoxy, righteousness, righteous deeds, righteous solutions, righteous karma, righteous wisdom. If there is more or less, the people will not ask the bodhisattva, human beings, etc., to determine what is right or wrong. You can’t teach, but you should know, so you are now advising, all destined for the departed, etc., but you can believe in the language of the Buddha, focus on practicing, don’t trust the Bodhisattva and other irresponsible teachings, think of doubts, confuse yourself, and abolish the loss of the past. Yi Ye.” This passage is very important. We often see in the scriptures that the ten directions Buddhas come to prove the Pure Land method for us. Because it is hard to believe, Amitabha must ask the ten directions Buddhas to prove it together. Asking the Bodhisattva to prove it is not strong enough. You have to invite the Buddha to prove the letter, so it is very important to believe in the Buddha.And the Pure Land Method taught by his Patriarch Bodhisattva is actually not a pure pure land method. They are all based on their own theoretical standpoint, and they use their own power to recite the Buddha's wisdom and power back and forth to survive. In this way, the pure land method requires rebirth. Very difficult.But most people don't dare to doubt the teachings of the teacher, because they are also Bodhisattvas!Many of the patriarchs of his ancestry have very high credentials, and they are indeed bodhisattvas, so ordinary people don't dare to doubt, right?But if you don’t dare to doubt, you have to cultivate hard, haha, then we will know now when we read this passage. Master Shandao told us, “Don’t ask the bodhisattva who waits for the heavens and wait for the right and wrong”, don’t listen to the people like the Bodhisattva, but listen. The Buddha’s "If the Buddha says, it means teaching, and the Bodhisattva, etc., it is not enough to teach." Because our Pure Land Method is the realm of the fruit of the Buddha, and only the Buddha and the Buddha can know it. It is not an ordinary method, it is a connection. The great bodhisattva can't even ask questions. I can't even think of it. Therefore, the pure land cultivation method explained by the bodhisattva may not be solved completely, or even wrong, so don't want to say, oh!His realm is so high, I dare not doubt that no matter how high his realm is, there is no Buddha's height!For example, if this person is a professional, then of course we want to listen to professionals. Although that person has a higher education and a doctorate, but he is not in this major, we can’t listen to him. What's more, many of our Buddhists are even stranger. We These wizards persuaded him for a long time, citing the scriptures, and he seemed to believe a little bit, but only a few days later, the old Wang next door said that it was wrong!Is it that simple, can you die by chanting?Sometimes I really get angry with them. This kind of person is a person with less roots, less merit, and less predestined relationship. The predestined destiny is not sufficient. When I meet this kind of person, then I have to stay away. I don’t have so much saliva. Persuasion, fortunately, now that you have video recording equipment, you will become a magic weapon with you. If you don't believe it, then you can slowly fix it by yourself!It’s useless to persuade this kind of people. They have already told you. The Buddha’s words cannot be doubted. For thousands of years, how many people have proven to you that the Patriarch’s great virtue has proved to you that you don’t believe it. Talking about the fees and tuition with you, people who are all monks and dedicated to all beings have no way to convince them. But the old Wang next door has been in love with him for a long time, because he has known each other for ten or twenty years and thinks Lao Wang will definitely not lie to him. It is possible that Lao Wang will not lie to him, but the question is that Lao Wang doesn't understand him, right?He didn't mean to lie to you!He himself was wrong, so he misled you inadvertently. As a result, you went hand in hand to hell together.The Master doesn’t know you, the Buddha doesn’t know you, the Bodhisattva doesn’t know you, but you should believe what these people say. If you don’t believe it, then you can only say that you have less virtuous roots and merits, and we have no choice. I am It’s a joke. If you want to be mad, you don’t know how many lives will be mad, so I have encountered a lot of situations like these!This method of ours is really hard to believe. It is the hardest to say. If I teach you the doctrines of Tiantai, Huayan, Consciousness, and even Zen, I will also talk about these. Professional skills, as long as you have a good command of these, you can talk about most of the sutras, and you can talk about long and short talks at ease. What's more, I have learned the teachings under these sects, but we don’t need miscellaneous cultivation. , The principles are all familiar, and I want to talk about these great theories, so that it will attract a lot of intellectuals immediately, and everyone will think that I have cultivated very well, I know a lot, and I can talk about the mysterious and the subtle, and what is advanced. The nouns, the magic of the vacuum, the truth of the middle way, can all be said, then my status will not immediately rise, but the question is, what use is it for you?Does it make any sense?Even after speaking, you understand everything and all the benefits have been obtained, so what? There is no benefit that can be obtained by the Pure Land Method to achieve Consummation. This is truthful, so I would rather be an honest person and don’t understand anything. , Can only recite the Buddha, and only teach the Pure Land Method. Even if sentient beings can’t see the noble places here, it’s okay. They always form a bond with you and give you the most complete things. One day you can Understand the advantages of this, and you will naturally be grateful for the reward.

The Pure Land Method itself is hard to believe. If you want to promote the Pure Land Method, you will feel frustrated if you don’t have an unseeking heart. Everyone will think of you as just knowing a little bit of the method that an old woman can practice, your own. The realm is probably not high, so he won’t respect and agree with you so much, and he won’t be so easy to accept this unbelievable law, especially for intellectuals. After talking for a long time, he doesn’t even want to listen. It’s a very common phenomenon. Therefore, we are obsessed with Buddhism. It is really necessary to have a simple and honest motivation from altruism. In this way, you will not have these gains and losses. If it is purely for the cause of Buddhism, then you should promote it. The Pure Land Method will definitely be very frustrating. The results in front of you are not easy to see. Even if this person really died because of your destiny, they don’t know that you have already saved a Buddha and you can’t see it. Not immediately affirming you, your efforts, most people can't see it.Therefore, this event is basically a career that only pays for and it is difficult to see the rewards, but it is the most meaningful, because it can really bring the most complete and most extraordinary results to all living beings, and you can be a Buddha right now. There is that one. What can be compared to the method can be achieved right now, can be liberated, and be able to be like a Buddha. Such a great benefit cannot be achieved by other methods.Therefore, we really have to believe that the teachings and thoughts of our ancestor Jing, Master Shandao, and other patriarchs’ explanations are also in the realm of the Great Bodhisattva, but we still have to listen to the Buddha, just listen to the Buddha so that we don’t need to have it anymore. Any doubt, no longer be afraid that people say that the Patriarch has been teaching for decades. How can we doubt the Patriarch’s words? This is generally a concept, but we now understand that the cause and fate are like this. Patriarchs have the cause and fate of their Patriarchs, and they themselves We are fundamentally different from them in the practice. They can do it, but we can't. So we have to go back and follow the pure pure land practice to get the most benefits.

Let’s look at a section of Master Shandao’s discourse: “Ask, if there are different people in the interpretation and practice, more quotations from the scriptures can be used to prove that all sins impede ordinary people, and those who cannot die, how can they deal with other difficulties.” This paragraph It means that if someone wants to ask questions, quoting scriptures, quoting other sects of self-cultivation scriptures, and want to prove that it is impossible for ordinary people with sin barriers to die, and the sin barriers are so heavy karma, how can they be reborn in the Buddha kingdom?From the perspective of self-reliance thinking, it is even harder to believe, because it seems to be inconsistent with cause and effect. How can you go to the Buddha Kingdom if you have karma?How is it possible to feel that state?Only when the heart is pure can the Buddha's land be pure!Generally, we rely on self-reliance to practice morality, concentration and wisdom. We must first completely eliminate our karma, and let our pure mind correspond to the pure Buddha kingdom. Only after the same channel corresponds, can you enter that realm. The concept is like this. , Now that we are so heavy with karma, how can we enter the path of the Buddhist kingdom?So no matter what you say, people won’t believe it. The more self-reliant people who understand the teachings, the harder it is to believe. Therefore, these people will come to you for the sake of apologists, saying that it is impossible to die, and they want to refute ours. The theory of death, what to do when you encounter this kind of person, if you can't explain it, you can put your hands together and say Amitabha Buddha, each has a cause, you don't need to explain so much.

Master Shandao also taught us how to answer, and we can also learn.The answer is: "If someone quotes more scriptures and proves that the cloud does not live out", the practitioners will report back: "Although the benevolent will prove that the Tao does not live out of the scriptures, the one who likes it will decide not to be broken by you, so why? It’s not that I don’t believe it. He believes in all the sutras. However, when the Buddha said that the sutras were different from each other, when they were different from each other, when they were different from each other, when they were different from each other, they were different from each other and from different interests. In the Amitabha Sutra, although the Buddha preached on the preparation of the machine, the time is also different. He is also talking about the understanding and deeds of the Man-Tian Bodhisattva. Today it is said that the "Guan Sutra" sets and disperses two good things, only because Wei mentioned the five turbidity and five sufferings after the Buddha's extinction. All ordinary people live by testimony. For this reason, I decided to follow this Buddhism with all my heart. He said that if others quote other sutras to ask questions, it is because other sutras are also. The Buddha said, so Master Shandao did not slander other sutras that are wrong. He only said that if you cite this sutra, I will not believe it, nor will it affect my confidence in this pure land method.why?He said that I didn't believe in the Scriptures you were talking about. I believed them all, I was still very respectful!It means that although I don't follow the scriptures you cited, I still respect it and believe it, because it's all what the Buddha said. We shouldn't criticize you for what is wrong with me.Master Shandao is here to show us, and he said that although I believe in these sutras that you have cultivated, but the Buddha says those sutras, each has its own cause and destiny. He speaks the sutras in the place, time, and foundation of the audience. The benefits to the audience are different, depending on the circumstances at the time.When talking about the sutras, when talking about those sutras, it was not the same timing as the "Guanjing" and "Amitabha Sutra"!The timing is different!Later, he said: "Today, it is said that the "Guan Jing" sets and disperses the two virtues, only because Wei mentioned that after the Buddha's death, the five turbidity and five sufferings wait for all ordinary people, and the testimony is alive." He said that the "Guan Jing" in our Pure Land Method is the main thing. The timing and foundation of the statement are aimed at us ordinary people, the five-turbid and evil sannyasin world, especially ordinary people, who are mainly ordinary people. What these people of us currently say and live for us, as long as we are willing to make a vow, we can die, "For this reason, I am determined to practice this Buddhism with all my heart." You have to have this concept, and don't oppose each other.It’s not my best, yours is not good, and then there will be opposition, just to find the highest and strongest, the other is wrong?All deny, this kind of mentality is the mentality of ordinary people, it is wrong, all laws are equal!There is no superiority, just the effect of each time.If a small screw is used at the right time, it is the most important thing. For example, if the screw is dropped on an airplane, it may be crashed, right?At the moment, this screw may be more important than a president, and the president cannot help you get the plane safely. What is the president?No higher, no smaller screws; lower status, no!Therefore, the status of all laws in the world depends on the season and the conditions. They are essentially equal. Therefore, when the law is equal, there is no superiority, and when it is used in the right place, it is the best at that moment. .The Pure Land Method is the most wonderful and perfect for us. No matter how good other methods are, it is not good for us if they cannot be used. Although it is not good, it cannot be said that its own method is not good, but it is only good for us. It is not applicable, and its value itself has not deteriorated. We still have to believe in it and be respectful. In this case, the law will not hinder it!Why must there be opposition?If you want to emphasize your own good, do you have to slander others first?Everyone can respect each other, achieve together, and live together!Why do we have to mutilate each other, slander and oppress each other so that we can grow up?No need at all. This decision is a very inferior method, a very crude view of ordinary people, because gentlemen don't have these concepts and practices.

So many people have tried their best to quote the scriptures to make you retreat, so many Bodhisattvas!Everywhere!Don't talk about the old king next door, many big Bodhisattvas, Arhats, and Pichi Buddhas have come to persuade you, oops!Don't recite Buddha!It's no use!That's all illusory!Elysium is also illusory!The Buddha only purifies his mind in the present thought, and the Buddha's land is pure when his heart is pure!No need to survive!This is the perspective of Zen. Zen practitioners will say that if the heart is pure, the Buddha and the earth are pure. What are you doing!Want to seek the law out of your heart?In fact, this is not seeking the Dharma outside the heart, because inside and outside are one body, and the world of bliss is also changed by the mind. The world of bliss and the pure mind exist at the same time. If you deny the existence of the outer bliss, the self-nature can be changed. It's gone, so it's said that worries are bodhi!You have cut off your worries, and the bodhi is gone. If you only emphasize the pure land of idealism and completely deny that the West has a blissful world, that is problematic. Paranoia is definitely problematic. This cannot be said to be the meaning of the Patriarch, the Patriarch. This is not the meaning, but we have interpreted the meaning in the text and misunderstood the intention of the teacher. We cannot only recognize idealism without acknowledging the outside world. This makes no sense. There is no difference in emptiness, and there is one in emptiness!There will be emptiness when there is time, and when there is emptiness, there will be emptiness. All dhammas are the magical existence that emerges from emptiness. Then if you deny this ten thousand dhammas, emptiness will be gone.

It is impossible for Shakyamuni Buddha to come and tell us not to go, because this Fa was introduced by him. How could he even come to persuade us not to go? It must be the demon to disturb us and test us. Or it may be the realization of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to test our sincerity. The reason is here. Because he meets on his deathbed, he will not have the opportunity to turn back. He just goes straight to it. If you really believe it and experience it, is it possible that you are not willing to go right away?You are unwilling to go because you have not experienced this realm, this real situation. The "Amitabha Sutra" also clearly tells us that there is a world name called bliss outside the land of ten trillion Buddhas. How can a Buddha use lie?The Buddha said that there is it!What do you think so much for yourself?This is that before the appearance of his own karma, the Buddha will never say a word of nonsense. Every word of him must have his effect. Therefore, for people with deep roots of goodness, what the Buddha says is what the Buddha says, and even what our teacher says is what he says. What, don’t be smart and extend your own thoughts. All are delusions, and all will become troubles, right and wrong.

Miraculous, the effect is really achieved, this is the merit of faith.It’s okay for us to be honest, it’s okay if we don’t understand, we just do it, and we must have good roots, we don’t doubt others, we don’t think about it at all, thinking whether he is fake or lie to us , Don’t be so complicated. Even if he really lied to us, it’s okay. We use a very simple mind. The so-called mind can change the state and the mind can change the state. The same is true. Even if you meet a bad person, he wants to deceive you. But because our hearts are very kind and innocent, we really believe it, and when we respond with a very kind and pure body, speech and mind, the other person will be turned by us instead. He might have deceived you, and will deceive half of him. I can't cheat anymore, really, it's amazing!Therefore, when we face the outside world with a kind and simple heart, we will never suffer a loss, and we will never be wrong. Don’t be afraid of being deceived. Many people are afraid of being deceived. Therefore, we are suspicious and do not believe in the outside world and do all kinds of things. As a preventive measure, we must first doubt, then find evidence, and then accept. Such a process was originally well-intentioned. If you don't believe it, he will simply say, okay!Since you think I am cheating, then I will cheat you!If you don’t cheat, you don’t cheat, or if you give up or ignore you, then your chances are gone. He sees you as a person, alas!If the root of suspicion is so heavy, then I will not persuade you, because you are too tired, and your roots are not mature yet, so I won’t persuade you. That's it!There is a very deep truth in this, and everyone can go and experience it in depth.We use a very simple faith, this power called the root of faith. If you maintain the power of this root of faith, any realm will be transferred by you, and you can get any merit. Life is endless, it's just a body!At most, one life can be deceived. What else can you lose?Even if there is no life, there is no loss. It is the temporary existence of the four major falsehoods. Everything is empty!What's more, our spiritual consciousness is eternal, so we don’t have to worry about any loss or fear at all. We admit that we can die. This is to help us die. At the same time, it is also admiring the merits of Amitabha Buddha.We are repaying the Buddha’s grace and telling others that we believe in this method. If we are confident that we can die, we are using our own faith to prove to the Buddha. We are proclaiming the superiority of this method. You have no confidence in yourself. You persuade others to recite the Buddha. This is correct. If you truly believe in the superiority of this method, you won't be embarrassed to speak it out. Amitabha is so extraordinary, why would you be embarrassed?Just as beautiful as your wife, why would you be embarrassed to take her out?Unless you think she is not pretty enough and you are embarrassed to take her out, this is a kind of insult to your wife. Everyone should experience this taste. If you have confidence in her, you should very much hope to introduce her to others and take her out to show off.
