Encouraging each other, this kind of cause is really rare.In a small corner of the guest house, from the three western saints provided by the residents, the teacher’s photos and various offerings, and the green leaves decorated on the side, you can see what the scholars in this room have about the Three Jewels. The feeling of admiration.At this moment, the night is so deep, looking up at the starry sky outside the window, imitating the moment when Blessed Master Shakya saw the stars at night when he enlightened, and slowly entered a short silence, and I just watched this quietly. The hard-won silence.Suddenly, I saw a shadow appearing in my mind, that was myself praying to the Buddha statue of Ke Xie.Oh! Originally, after waking up this morning, I didn't seem to bow to the Buddha and Bodhisattva! After the service, the thoughts began to move again.Just now before the appearance of the Buddha worshiping form, there was a short silence in my heart, and there was nothing in it, but now there is a Buddha worshiping form. If I continue to follow my thoughts like this, continue to weave again. In other realms, wouldn't the entire world be created by me?And the "heart is like a master of art" and "all things are created by the mind" mentioned by the Buddha in the sutras are not exactly similar to this situation?The only difference is that what is created by our delusion is an illusion of impermanence, while the world manifested by our true heart is a pure land that is constant and unchanging.
As delusions are constantly being created at this moment, we can indeed perceive that thoughts are constantly changing in moments and moments. Therefore, the realm imagined by delusions is an illusion of impermanence; it is temporarily false. Existence, this is not difficult to understand, but the Blessed One said that not only is the realm imagined in our thoughts, it is an illusion, and even the six elements in front of us touch the six dusts and feel the mountains, rivers, earth, Flowers, birds and beasts, as well as people, things, things, everything; so real, alive, and rigid, this kind of material phenomenon is actually within the scope of what we want to achieve. This phenomenon is like "the mustard can be "Accommodating Xumi" mustard seed is a metaphor for our heart, and Xumi is a metaphor for the outside world. The entire vast and boundless world is not in our little thoughts; it is all contained in our one-minded mind.This is like a small hard disk in a computer. In that small and unobtrusive volume, it can hold a lot of data in it.The metaphor of this incident is the truth of the origin of the universe that the Buddha said.However, this realm of reality is too difficult for us to understand, because everything in front of us is so real and alive, and it is clear that the dependent origination and cessation of all things and human beings are also generated by independent causes and conditions. Would it be said that the whole world can be imagined by our own minds?What's more, what my heart thinks is different from what other people think. Then, is this whole world made according to who's mind?In the past, someone asked Lord Sakyamuni, why the land of other Buddhas after enlightenment was pure and untainted, but the land that you have emerged is this five-turbid and evil world?After the Blessed One listened, he used his feet to show his magical powers, and suddenly a bright and pure land like the world of bliss appeared.Oh! It turns out that there is indeed a realm of Dharma conceived by one's heart in everyone's heart, and although the realm of Dharma conceived by every sentient being is in the same place, they can overlap without hindering each other, so the same is here. In the world, the world that Sakyamuni has seen in the eyes of Blessed One is no different from the world of bliss created by Amitabha Buddha with a pure heart. Although he is in a bad world, he is still happy and free of suffering. But in the eyes of the Blessed One Everyone here is as good as a Buddha and Bodhisattva, and there is no evil person or enemy in his heart.Only the situation felt by the evil mortal karma is like living in a hell of burning fire, always resentful in his heart, and no one is pleasing to the eye. It turns out that this is due to the different effects of personal heart.A person with a pure heart will live in a pure world, and a world where a turbid heart and evil lives will be turbid and evil. It does not mean that there is another pure time and space that exists after leaving this turbid and evil time and space.Therefore, our practice in Buddhism is to return to simplicity and to restore our own pure nature, so that the pure world manifested by the pure mind can replace all the filth and troubles manifested by the delusion.It turns out that the eighty-four thousand methods of Buddhism need to be cultivated, nothing more than this one thing! But now, although we seem to be able to recognize these principles and understand the ways to treat and improve them, we are actually facing In real life situations, our minds will always follow the past habits, maladies and delusions. If we say that the truth is truly understood, then we should be able to do so in reality. Is it right?What is going on here?Could it be because our karma and habits since the beginning of the karma are too heavy or too heavy, or that the seventh consciousness as the only consciousists say, the strength of the "Muna consciousness" to strengthen attachments far exceeds ours Reason makes us continue to recognize the false as the truth again, joy, sorrow and resentment for all gains and losses, just like a fool watching a play, knowing that it is just a play, but still following the joy, anger, sorrow, and sorrow of the people in the play. Happy but not independent.It seems that practice is really something that is not possible for a man.Even though it is difficult, our pure Bodhicitta has shown light in a single moment in a thousand years of dark night, but then it disappears. Therefore, it is only in Zen that we have to cultivate after enlightenment, and our kung fu must be maintained.The bodhisattva's practice also has to go through three more a monk's karma, and even the immeasurable kalpa, in order to cultivate according to the enlightenment path and produce the real power to cure karma and habits.Hey! Cultivation seems simple, but it is not easy! When will we be like the old monk Xuyun, after traveling thousands of miles, he accidentally broke a hot teacup and completely shattered the firmness of his heart since he was innocent. Perseverance, presumably the kind of freedom and relief he was at that time is beyond words.At this time, he must be living in the blissful world in this saha like the Blessed One, able to play the world at will and dream about the Buddha in the world; he can rejoice with the joy of all beings, follow the sorrow and sorrow of all beings, and follow the hearts of all beings. I felt it, and I was completely immersed in the pure world I created, wow! How free and easy this kind of life would be! Thinking about it, I saw myself immersed in delusions about the Dharma again, hey, Although this is also an inevitable process of practice; practice always has to first interlace the prajna of writing and contemplation of prajna, and at the same time, through the actual practice of the bodhisattva path, to personally verify the state of prajna.However, the question is whether the little contemplation skill we have mentioned before can be effective! When the realm is reached, if the law-like counter-rule can be achieved, then this contemplation merit is deemed to be Small achievements are achieved. If the realm comes and then immediately changes with the realm, and the karma and habit are taking control, then it is considered to be a visualization of the Dharma, and the analysing of the textual prajna, is it also to be frustrated? ?Think about it, or honestly recite the "Nanwu Amitabha Buddha" Wan Dehong name, steadily scribble, and accumulate the current pure Buddha name to cure all kinds of delusions; relying on self-reliance in faith, aspirations, and deeds. Linked to Amitabha’s aspiration to live in the pure land of bliss, such a long time, "no thoughts, no thoughts, no thoughts", when embodied in "the heart is the Buddha, and the heart is the Buddha", then it is not false. Convenient and self-satisfied"?The white sky of fish belly gradually appeared, and the heart should have been emptied, otherwise, in this early morning, the beautiful sound of Liuchen said, but it would be unattainable.Wow! Everything is so beautiful and magical, but the sleeping creatures are so sad and stupefied. How can we help sentient beings to enter this world of bliss? ----I think there is only one way to pray continuously and sincerely for the blessings of the three treasures. "Namo Amitabha"….

This is a virtue that is not easy to get behind closed doors.The above four small gains are just the feeling of carelessness at the end of the study. It is not yet possible to say the reasons for this extraordinary training and the benefits that can be obtained. It is just that young people should have confidence in themselves and believe that they have unlimited potential to be developed. At the same time, we must also believe in the wisdom and compassion of teachers and Dharma protectors, and work together to promote the Dharma and to minimize the suffering in the world, and contribute our own strength.I would also like to thank the old monk and all the seniors, classmates and bodhisattvas of the Society for their support and guidance. I don't know whether it was a momentary ignorance that went into the womb prison by mistake, or as the celestial women from the Eastern world in the Sutra of Tragedy, they wanted to come to this world of samas to hear the law and to get into the womb.Since I was a child, I felt that I was very different from my family, both in appearance and temperament.I come from a well-off home in the outskirts of Tainan, next to a local temple. Three generations of my family are in the same house. My grandfather is a good old person called the elder class. For all disputes, money... and other big and small disputes, I always ask my grandfather to come forward to resolve the issue. The time-honored store is also the best place for the livelihood and gathering of most neighbors.Maybe it’s because I’ve seen a lot of people since I was a kid, and I have seen a lot of misery in this world, especially from the family. The noisy crowds and the often messy environment always make me have a strong urge to escape, but I don't know where to escape.
I remember when I was in the third grade of elementary school, after class, after asking my grandmother, I went directly to the classmate’s home to do homework. The quiet and peaceful magnetic field in the classmate’s home made me sink in between the lines unknowingly, and the time seemed to stop there. Disappeared, to borrow the name of Buddhism, it is like having a taste of reading "Sanmai" for the first time. I feel that it is a rare enjoyment in life. Unexpectedly, after a while, I realized that it was late and I had already missed the time to go home. , An uneasy premonition gradually emerged, and when he returned home, he was punished by his elders to kneel in the hall and gave a severe admonition.At that time, a deep grievance and dissatisfaction spurred the long-cherished idea of escaping in my heart. I don’t know where the courage came from. I secretly held my grandma’s burden the next morning before dawn. I just wrapped a piece of clothing on my back and ran away from home. I was about ten years old that year. Although the farce of running away from home ended in only a short day, only I knew about the whole incident. But the loneliness in my heart continues to spread, and I still don't know how to solve all the sufferings in this world.
The days are still circulating like this, the suffering seems to be endless, the noise and impurities in the world still exist truthfully, and it seems impossible to change.So on the second day of graduating from elementary school, I decided to live in a hairdressing salon and study skills without having fun even during summer vacation. This was a temporary escape from a noisy life that was not corresponding since I was a child, and during that period of apprenticeship. Although the labor of the body is very bitter, there is a sense of relief in the heart and it is as sweet as a sweetheart.
A few years later, through my father’s arrangement, I came to the colorful metropolis of Taipei and lived in the famous Mandu Hair Salon. After several years of aesthetic training, a Cinderella from the south was transformed into a Cinderella from the south. A tingling urban girl who has been sought after by many admirers.However, happy days have not yet surfaced. After expanding a broader interpersonal horizon, I have even seen the general false anxiety and helpless changes in people’s hearts, which has broken my last reliance on marriage. For a while, I felt that in this boundless world, there seemed to be no clean place to settle, a thought of escaping from the world, so it gradually arose and continued to take shape rapidly.
The days continued to flow in this way until one day in 1996, miraculously the predestined relationship matured. When I was sweeping the floor in my residence, I overheard the satellite TV being broadcasted on the satellite TV. The scriptures introduced the pure and solemn scenes in the Western Paradise. All the pores of my body stood upright, and there was a strong response that I had never had before. At the same time, I wondered why the TV station would automatically switch to the Buddhist station. With such a combination of predestined conditions, I finally embarked on the path that I should take. Since then, the days of practicing in Buddhism have been full and meaningful every day.After a few years of living as a layman, he was finally able to follow the old Master Jingkong in the Singapore Jingzong Society in 2001, and became a student of the fifth training course for Dharma. It was also due to the graduation results and the profound Dharma relationship with the teacher. The old master personally chose the name "Ren Jing" and deliberately arranged to work as a teaching assistant in Dharma promotion training in Australia. Although the relationship between Australia was immature due to many delicacies, it has already established the inheritance of the Dharma.When he left the society, the teacher had also specially asked to work hard on Master Yinguang's notes in the future. Yinzuo is the thirteenth generation master of the Pure Land Sect. The implication of his words is to instruct students to follow this sect. Inheritance, take the responsibility of the Pure Land Hiroshi Pass.
In 2002, under the active promotion of a Malaysian bhikkhuni, I went to Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. I worshipped the monk and became a monk at the Po Lin Monastery in Hong Kong. In the same year, I received two monks and three altars at Po Lin Monastery in Hong Kong. The monk of Dejie is the master of his family. In the years of training in the Baolin Jungle, he has more or less tainted the Dao Qi of the Chinese jungle Zen monk, and he seems to have added some other features other than the pure land scholars. In the three years, I returned to the Singapore Jingzong Society to continue to give lectures, except for the period when I was living in Jiexia. During that time, I also went to Malaysia, Indonesia, the mainland... and other places to participate in the school through the arrangement of the society and the development of my personal Dharma. , Propagating the Dharma, greatly expanding the experience of participating in practice. After returning to Baolin in 2004 to complete the summer, he immediately took a leave of absence from his master and returned to Taiwan for meditation, and went to various temples and temples in the country to promote the Dharma.
Recalling the learning process over the past ten years, from the beginning of my heart, I have unfailingly strengthened my faith, aspirations, and deeds. To this day, I walked on this unchanging pure land, and I was fortunate to have incorporated a little bit of Zen and secrets. The nourishment of the law, the Tiantai, the Madhyamaka, and the knowledge-only...makes my deep teachings of the Blessed One, and a more comprehensive understanding, which will also increase my confidence in the Pure Land Method to increase infinite depth. And the breadth, I believe this will be able to integrate the Dharma and the teachings and apply it flexibly in the future promotion of religion.Relying on the Buddha's original bosom, stepping in the footsteps of the teacher, focusing on the needs of sentient beings in the current era, it is reasonable to develop a dharma condition suitable for the roots of today's human beings, and skillfully attract the destined sentient beings, and eventually they can all go to the pure land. In the end, everyone has to become a Buddha quickly and steadily. This will be the path that I will continue to practice in the days to come and even my life.

I didn't expect that after many months, this matter would still be possible.In fact, as early as September 03, the Singapore Society arranged for the half-month period from the end of the school to the lecture at the Malacca Yuanrong Abode. The practitioners proposed to write a propaganda report to be published in the academic journal to praise Malacca's propaganda. Excellent, to persuade the destined masses to join the Mahayana path together, and the abbot, Master Xia Rong Lao, is also optimistic about his success and hopes that the end of the school will be able to complete this matter.However, things are hard to come by. In a blink of an eye, the year is approaching and I have not been able to pick up a pen. This time I came to the academy again to study at the Abode, and the public had to mention the old things again, so I had no choice but to complete the matter.At present, the Master of the training course arranged by the Singapore Jingzong Society to give a lecture here is Master Zhaozong from Jiangxi Province, China. During the course of nearly half a month, the Master has not only given six days of lectures in Melaka Yuanrong Abode, Immediately afterwards, it also arranged the itinerary for the Buddhist Association of Malaysia and the Tambian Pure School.The content that the Master Zhaozong preached this time is mainly based on the forty-eight great wishes issued by Amitabha in the Sutra of Infinite Life. During the lecture, the Master quoted his content from time to time, borrowed close metaphors, and interspersed stories at appropriate times. The public case made the audience understand and respond to the joyful sounds of the Fa. I saw that the Master was still on the podium as if it were still, and everything changed calmly. Although the whole atmosphere is dim, you can feel the peace and confidence of the people in the Three Jewels, as if they believe that all these changes are the best arrangements of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and we Just ---- recite the Buddha honestly.Mo Xue was watching all this, and silently scored in his heart.Yuanrong Abode was established in 9. Under the careful leadership of Master Rong, the practice of fellow practitioners here can be said to be rare in the Jingzong Taoist. She was convinced that the monk's appearance was decided by the Buddha and Bodhisattva's blessing and encouragement to her. The purpose was to help her develop stronger confidence in this Buddha's name. , This is a special induction event in respect of reciting Buddhism and cultivating together, by the way.In addition, the seminary activities of the Abode also take care of the development courses for children. The sound of the Fa has been constant for many years, so that all the scholars in the wide area can learn the Fa all the year round and get big benefits.Therefore, the old master said that for everyone who has the heart to achieve the promotion of Taoism and protect fellow practitioners, the door of the Malacca Perfection Abode will be open to the public for many years, and he himself will follow the situation and do his best to accompany the fellow practitioners. Let's walk through this avenue of practice of the Jingzong together.

What is the ultimate goal of the practice of Buddhism?There is a koan that can help us understand a bit.In the past, an emperor wanted to renovate a temple in the capital, so he sent someone to find a skilled designer, hoping to renovate the temple beautifully and solemnly.Later, two groups of people were found, one of which was famous artisans and painters in the capital; and the other was a few monks.The emperor had no way to determine which group of people had better craftsmanship, so he gave them a chance to perform.So the emperor ordered these two groups to repair a small temple facing each other; and said that in three days, he would come to check the results.The craftsmen of the capital asked the emperor for more than one hundred kinds of paints (lacquer) and many tools before they began to design.However, what made the emperor very strange was the monks, who actually only needed some simple cleaning utensils such as rags and buckets.Three days later, the emperor came to see the results of the two groups of people decorating the temple.He first came to see the temple decorated by the craftsmen; the craftsmen beat gongs and drums to celebrate the completion of the project.They used a lot of paint to decorate the temple colorfully with very exquisite craftsmanship. The emperor nodded with satisfaction when he saw it. Then he looked back and looked at the temple where the monks were responsible for the decoration.As soon as he saw it, he was stunned; the temples decorated by the monks were not painted with any paint. They just wiped all the walls, tables, chairs, windows, etc. clean and bright, so that all the items in the temple were all clean and bright. Revealing the original color, the glossy surface is like a mirror, reflecting the scenery reflected from the outside. The changeable clouds on the day, the shadow of the tree swaying in the wind, and even the colorful temple on the opposite side, all become this The beautiful part of this temple, the whole environment is naturally integrated into this temple, and this temple just accepts all this peacefully.The emperor was deeply moved by this majestic beauty.Of course, we also know whose home the final victory will fall.Our hearts, like this temple built by monks, don’t actually need to beautify it with all kinds of exquisite decorations. All we need is to let the inherent beauty, that is, the pure Buddha nature that we originally have. Just show it flawlessly.The pure minds of monks can naturally create a pure and solemn external environment; we practice, in fact, it is just that. If we restore our polluted mind to pure and pure nature, the external nature will feel like a pure bliss. .Therefore, the pure land method we practice today is to restore our original pure mind! When the pure mind is restored, the Buddha's way will be achieved, and the boundless wisdom and virtue will be present one by one. .

It is a state where one contains three and is interdependent.Body karma, the scope it covers, includes the creation of external behavior and the inner state of the physical body.And what fasting involves mainly lies in the purification part of the body.Through the purification and detoxification of the body, the three karma of body, mouth and mind can also be purified together.Many people who have had many successful fast fasts can feel this extraordinary benefit first-hand.Therefore, since ancient times, many of the great virtues of the patriarchs of various teachings are mostly practitioners of fasting. Even if there are some people who do not advocate fasting in order to avoid the bias of sentient beings to seek the law outside the heart, they at least agree to eat less. Better.In the Zen Forest Baizhang Clearance Regulations, the general public is clearly informed that "disease should be treated with reduced food as medicine". As long as you eat less, you will be cured of ordinary diseases. You don't have to see a doctor for injections and medicine.According to the natural medicine report, even nearly XNUMX% of diseases, including cancer, can be cured quickly.This theory is based on the natural adjustment effect of the body system, the so-called "self-dissolving" effect.During fasting, the body's excretory system will naturally operate more vigorously than usual, and the body will dissolve the cells in the body due to the lack of external heat to maintain the continuation of life.At this time, a large number of malignant cells, viruses, etc. are also dissolved and eliminated. After the entire detoxification process is completed, the health is regulated by gradual refeeding, so that new cells can be regenerated, thus completing the cure. Illness and the goal of keeping youth.For practitioners, the more meaningful part is the purification of the mind. When our body organs are in a half-rested state due to fasting, our brains and thoughts will become clearer and our mood will be more stable. Although the limbs feel weak, but the spirit is abnormally full.At this time, it will be particularly conducive to meditation and chanting, and it is easy to enter a light and peaceful state to experience concentration.But most of this is a state that is easy to reach after the fifth day of fasting, because the initial fasting will cause a stronger feeling of hunger and improvement reactions, making people feel irritable and irritable.The so-called improvement reaction is the discomfort caused in the process of eliminating the virus. After a few days, the virus is smoothly discharged, these symptoms will naturally disappear, and even the hunger pangs will disappear.For example, some people suffer from headaches, rheumatism, skin allergies... and so on. At this time, they will appear one by one. Travelers do not need to panic. Once the virus is discharged, even those chronic diseases that do not heal for a long time will also It will gradually show amazing effects within a month after you re-eating.However, for a big fast that lasts more than one week, don't try it yourself for the first time. You must be familiar with the theory of natural therapy, do a good job of psychological construction, and then have the guidance and guardianship of someone over before it can be carried out.Generally, we can fast on the sixth day of the week or a fixed day at home for one day at home. This can gradually detoxify the body, but it cannot achieve the purpose of curing diseases and other purposes.And the final school does not advocate too much dependence on fasting to achieve the goal of spiritual practice. For fasting, the first thing to do is to get rid of excessive toxins in the body in order to purify the body, and it can also help the body. The purity of the mouth and mind is naturally developed; it must be carried out with the motivation of natural medicine, rather than relying on fasting to achieve spiritual liberation. If it is such a motivation, it will be no different from Indian asceticism.The ultimate spiritual liberation is due to the incorporation of the middle way. Anything that is paranoid on one side will not be able to complete the way.Therefore, there are many ways to enlightenment. The so-called eighty-four thousand methods do not have to be achieved through fasting, but fasting and fasting can help to purify the body, mind, and spirit to a certain extent.This is a great exercise for the practitioner to strengthen willpower and endurance, and it will also have a good effect on reducing the needs of seven emotions and five desires.For those who are willing to try fasting, the most important thing is that they must first make the right position in the concept, and then study how to proceed.

Since the consummation of the summer at Po Lin Xi Temple in Hong Kong last September, he returned to Taiwan and immediately began to retreat homework.Counting the days, it has been seven or eight months.In the past few days, because I felt a little bit special about studying, I thought of the Dharma destiny with fellow practitioners in Taiwan in the past few years, and especially wanted to write down these Dharma benefits to share with everyone.So I diverted a little bit of head-knocking (the prostration) time to write.
Generally speaking, fellow practitioners are very mysterious and unfamiliar with the so-called retreat. In the past, there was a saying: retreat is necessary for people after enlightenment, because the cause of the Dharma is not sufficient, so they go to set up a hut to keep their skills and treat others. God, please turn to Falun.But in Buddhism there is also a variety of retreat causes, such as Huayan Pass, Pure Land Pass, Reading Pass, etc., which are determined by the practice.There are also Buddhism Samadhi Pass, Dharma-Hua Samadhi Pass, etc. depending on the realm and goal.Or like the Tibetan tantric practice, they pay more attention to the diligent practice of the practice. Some are very young and small, they are arranged by the master to retreat in the cave, and the entrance of the cave is very small. The food is only hoisted in by ropes, and it has been retired until accomplishment or even dying in it for a period of time. This is the so-called closed life and death pass.And the retreat of our generation, because the physical and mental roots are relatively poor, generally short-term retreat is the general mode, that is, the learning goal is set first, and the more common mode is to complete a stage of intensive courses.But now it is very difficult just to achieve this kind of cause and condition.
The first is the difficulty of the objective environment, and the second is the problem of the practitioner's own physical and mental karma, both of which are the reasons why the retreat merits are difficult to complete.Taking the cause of the scholar's retreat this time, it is not easy to get it.Originally when I returned to Taiwan last year, I was fortunate that some fellow initiates immediately took the initiative to find a hut to protect the students, but because the environment was not suitable, the neighbors would come to visit and ask for enlightenment curiously, so this pass It can only be used as a retreat, and it is over after only three months.Later, I accidentally participated in a Buddhist seven in a temple in Nantou. The seventh monk was very compassionate. After Zhan Zhuan learned that I was planning to find a closed room in the monastery, he immediately took the initiative to protect it, so I was extremely grateful. I went to live for a month first.Later observations found that although all the external conditions of support were exceptional, the scholars felt that they did not fit well with the practice philosophy and style of the abbot of the dojo. At this time, if one accepted the support hastily and received the grace of dripping water, how could it be possible in the future? If you don't report, won't you have to ride a tiger by then?So after several considerations, this cause was declined.Fortunately, on the day when I started this idea, there was another wonderful development, which contributed to my present pure and exceptional cause. I have been in retreat for several months now, and I have been very smooth and happy in my studies. .Therefore, although there have been many twists and turns in this whole process, it has finally proved once again the compassionate guardianship of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.At the same time, it also makes the scholars more convinced that although in the end of the Dharma period, there is a rare dojo that is like the Dharma, as long as we can stick to our own principles of learning, we should not be like ordinary people, just bend for five buckets of rice, and easily Go against your own principles; not to mention having to cling to those who are rich and powerful, as if only in this way can there be opportunities for spiritual achievement.In fact, based on many years of personal experience, I truly believe that as long as we are sincere and willing to practice, the XNUMX years of Buddha's retribution left by the Blessed One will definitely be enough for our four disciples to practice life after life, not to mention. There are countless dragons and gods who protect them from time to time, so there is no need to worry about all their needs.Besides, this is also what the Blessed One said in the Chrysostom of the Sutra. Haven't we even believed in the Buddhist language?Moreover, life is like illusion, life and death are nothing, practice to the ultimate point, but to see through this point, and to really break through the habit of fear of life and death, so when faced with all kinds of illusionary difficulties in the world, what is there? What are you afraid of?Not only do you have to be afraid of it, but you need to be able to see that it is a good time to achieve merit. Adversity will become a great opportunity for spiritual growth, and it will be easier to achieve incredible merit.So why should a practitioner resign to the worldly style that is inferior to the law or greedy for small gains, and lose his rare opportunity for liberation because of small losses?Therefore, I also encourage fellow practitioners to cherish time, grasp the principles of practice, fear all difficulties, and devote themselves to practicing on the right path.
There is another very important factor to achieve the merits of retreat, that is, the problem of personal physical and mental karma. In the past, because scholars would have some short-term retreat training every year, it took about three days after entering the retreat. Completely settle down on the progress of the practice and work hard.However, people with weak foundations, on the contrary, will start to be irritable and disturbed in about three days. This starts to produce various physical and psychological disorders. In the end, some people even break through the barriers even if they can't bear it. There are many people who are struggling to achieve success or seeking supernatural powers to induce them. In the end, there are many people who are obsessed with it unknowingly.Therefore, I also suggest that fellow initiates should start with the one or three-day barrier to adjust their body and mind when they have a chance. They have a right view and be prepared. When they have the chance to work hard in the future, they will be able to achieve their merits and virtues.
For short-term retreats, you must first schedule the whole day's work and rest schedule. It is best to get up before three or four in the morning, so that you can overcome sleep problems and increase your hard work.After waking up, you can sit on the bed and meditate directly. It is best to practice double-disc at the same time. Even if you can only sit for a minute or two, you can gradually increase it for a longer time, so that your body will sweat first, and your blood will get through. , The sleep disorder was overcome immediately, and sitting still in the early morning is particularly easy to experience silence.
Secondly, the arrangement of courses is also very important. When you first enter the customs, you must first take the elimination of karma as the main purpose.For example, worshipping confession, worshiping Buddha, etc., and must pay equal attention to the interpretation of the practice, and coordinate with each other, and then when you enter the stage of the right practice, you can concentrate on the main practice.If your goal is to enlighten the Buddha and Samadhi, then you must really achieve a Buddha's name in the middle of two or six o'clock, and be indifferent to everything, like a walking dead, with only one Buddha's name in your heart. If you can really do this kind of specialization and hard work in other unraveling tasks, then you can, as the scripture says, if one day is as long as seven days, you will be able to achieve the samādhi merits.When most people practice the seventh Buddha, they just don’t have the effort to eliminate karma. Therefore, during the whole Buddha seventh period, the delusion just rests a little bit, and the seventh Buddha is about to end. Some people are even shallow. You can't taste the shallow Dharma taste. This is the reason you can't work hard if you don't master the correct methods and stages in your practice.
Let's talk about the course of the scholar's retreat. The scholar's goal of learning is to pay equal attention to practice in the first half of the stage, and in the final stage, he will try his best to reach the top of the Buddhist kung fu.At present, the scholars are closing the Fahua Pass. They mainly read the Fahua Sutra and worship the Fahua Repentance. Secondly, they have arranged a little time to understand the scriptures according to Gude’s commentary and prepare to leave the pass. Later, the opportunity also led the fellow initiates to read the entire Lotus Sutra. The Lotus Sutra, because it is the king of the sutras of the world of sutras, and its content reveals the knowledge and views of the pure one Buddha, as far as the Tiantai family judgement is concerned, it belongs to the pure circle and no miscellaneous multiplying reality, and its realm is completely written in language. It is inconceivable. Therefore, we can only study in ordinary people through the in-depth study of the interpretation of the scriptures and the structure of the scientific judgment, plus the reference to the experience of the Goods after the experience, so that we can learn in the long-term. In the process, it is possible to grasp some general ideas a little bit.However, if you want to truly be able to get into the Dharma and Hua Samadhi, you must rely on long-term and continuous reading of the scriptures, worship of Dharma and Hua confession, and various practical practices in life, so that you can gradually get into the knowledge and views of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.For our fellow practitioners who specialize in the Pure Land Method, the realm of the Lotus Sutra can help us to resurrect in the future, see the Buddha immediately in bloom, prove the immortality and forbearance, and now we can feel the Buddha Shakyamuni, the Buddha and the ten. The incredible and obvious blessings of the Buddhas of Fang make us more effective in accumulating the daily merits of various blessings and wisdoms.This is really a great remedy for our practice conditions that are hard to come by as a mentor today.Especially when the scholars read about Anle Xingshi, they deeply feel in their hearts that Blessed One Shakya is giving instructions to the scholars like a mentor, and teaches us how disciples who enter the room should practice and pay attention to those things, who, Where should we avoid contact..., the various instructs and the methods of instructing, usually only very close relatives and monks will directly say, for example, in the scriptures, the Blessed One even asks us to promote and sustain Even the Hinayana people should not be too close at ordinary times, so as not to be affected by them. The standard measure of direct warning and guarding like this makes the scholars feel that there is always a mentor guarding him like a father.For all blessings like this, there are many more...

This lyrics is the first creation written by Mo Xue for Buddhist songs.The editorial department of the newsletter asked me to talk to the public about my thoughts on writing words in the newsletter.Although Mo Xue thinks that this is really not worth mentioning, but in order to achieve Consummation, he will follow the cause and fate, and write ugliness here.Not long ago, when the general manager Li Wenfa asked me to write lyrics for the upcoming Buddhist songs of the Society, my first reaction was: "Please write it for seniors! Anyone must be better than me, and I have never If you have experience, you may fail everyone's expectations." General Affairs said: "Just try it! My colleagues think that the writing of Buddhist songs will have different interpretations when written by the masters." In this way, I started my first creation. .This time I filled in a total of three lyrics, the title of the song: "Suffering in the world, who knows?", "Dreamworld", and "Liberation". Among them, the song I wrote for the first time is the song that I wrote for the first time. Suffering, who knows. "Although, among the three lyrics, it is the simplest and concise, but it makes me feel very different.When I first heard this song and wondered how to start, listening and listening, unknowingly, the ups and downs buried deep in my heart for decades, suddenly waved like a tsunami. The waves are coming; the joy, anger, sorrow, joy in life in the past, and the Buddha's compassionate and rescued induction to the last learning after learning the Buddha... etc.At this time, I couldn't talk about any specific ideas in my heart, but it took less than half an hour to fill in this word.Then I kept listening for two or three hours, until the heavy eyelids were involuntarily stunned, and I realized that the tears that had been hanging on my face were still warm.Looking back on the way I created at that time, it can be said that it was completely based on my intuition. I calmed my mind first, visualized the Buddha's kindness, and then looked at the monk's face in the mirror in front of me.A voice suddenly appeared in my heart, telling me, yes! Even if you don't have enough abilities, you should do whatever you want and make your best effort to bear the Buddhas' eagerness to awaken the suffering sentient beings sleeping in the fire house.A sense of duty that is duty-bound and uncompromising, rose to the highest point for a while.And how can we achieve this goal as much as possible?I thought of using the most direct way of interpretation.Don't have too many words, and directly and plainly use our inner gratitude and dependence on the Buddha, and use the way of singing to guide sentient beings into people's hearts, to accumulate the bodhi seeds that are inherent in everyone's nature.Just like the genre of the Buddhist scriptures, there are long lines at the beginning, and there will always be chants at the end. The purpose is to facilitate memory and penetrate into the hearts of the people. At the same time, this also shows the Buddha's painstaking mind in saving sentient beings.I hope that those who are destined to hear this song can calm their hearts and deeply understand the realm expressed in the words. I believe you will feel the same as me; feel the sufferings in this world and the selflessness of the Buddha. On May 2004, 5, I will say goodbye to the four fellow practitioners of the Jingzong Society for a while.At this moment, from a secular point of view, there are always many mixed emotions in my heart, and from the perspective of the cause and condition of the law of birth, all these aspects are just some temporary ones that flow with the karma. It just exists, but it's not good for it to make a big fuss.But before leaving here, thanks to the concern of fellow initiates, I hope I can talk about my feelings at the moment to support the public before leaving, so I followed this cause and rushed to write a few strokes before leaving, which took up space and everyone. I am deeply ashamed of the precious time.Fate, it is really a very complicated and wonderful thing. It is absolutely impossible to be grasped. Therefore, we can only follow the cause and fate as human beings. At most, we can only do everything we can to do our best to obey the destiny afterwards. Everything in the body and mind is completely left to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to arrange, and the day can truly feel free and unobstructed.Recalling that in the past ten years of learning, not only did I follow the old monk Jingkong to study the teachings of the propaganda and laid a complete foundation, at the same time, during this period of learning, I can often have the opportunity to receive the old monk’s treatment to me. The blessings and specific encouragement have enabled my Dao mind to increase year by year even when facing extremely evil conditions. What has often appeared in my heart now is endless gratitude and contentment.Even though the changes in causes and conditions at this moment have led me to enter another level of training, but in the past, the influence that the practitioners and the old monks have had on me in the past has become a reality. A kind of eternal existence, and this kind of relationship will eventually exist in life after life, and will never be extinguished.In the past, whenever I read the writings of the ancient masters on the practice process again and again, I would always have a yearning but ashamed heart in my heart. I am ashamed of being a human being without wisdom and virtue. How can I be like the predecessors? The earth is great, wisdom and courage, and is really responsible for the family business of the Tathagata?The innocence and fearlessness of the first heart will fade away year by year with the cognition of one's own situation and the understanding of the real environment.To be naive is to always deliberately want to spread all sentient beings, but in fact, the only person in the entire Dharma that really needs to be saved is oneself.To be fearless is to rely on Daoism and willingness to act with integrity. In the current environment of entering the world, this can be said to be a big taboo.So so far, I just wasted my time and only received the support of the Dharma protector.If I want to say that I have gained something, it is only the growing fear, shame and caution in my heart. It is precisely because of this mood that I am eager to seek a deeper level of training, so that I can slightly calm myself as a Buddha. But ashamed of the deep remorse for the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.The idea of living in Maopeng retreat has been conceived for a long time because of the aforementioned self-consciousness. It’s just that I have a deep and blessed blessing, and the fate has not been realized until last year when I met with Monk Jingkong and Master Shengyi in Hong Kong last year to express this wish. After getting the permission of the two mentors, I dared to follow this idea one by one, and now it seems that this cause is about to mature.Originally, the practice of retreat should be after enlightenment and attainment, because no one asks for the Dharma, only then can you be qualified to cultivate the path and to wait for the cause and condition.Now that I follow the example, I'm actually just trying to learn something. The goal is to eliminate karma, and there is nothing to do.Therefore, in the first trial, one year is a period of time, and Danone’s focus on research and teaching is enough! If there is a chance again, then this will be a long-term practice mode.This plan was originally drafted as early as last year, but because there are still some hopes for the Singapore Institute, there are still some concerns in my heart, so I hope to come back first to complete this fate.I originally only planned to stay for a month or two when I came back this time, but I did not expect to stay for nearly a year before and after. It can be seen that my relationship with the Singapore Institute is really deep. The kindness and meaning of the Institute here to protect my Dharma can be said to be true. Far more than other places, because here is the place where my Dharma body and wisdom are truly nurtured. In addition to studying with the old monk, the seniors and classmates from home and abroad have also greatly encouraged me here. My various insights have greatly benefited me, and the Dharma protectors who have learned to go up and down are also good companions on the road.Now that I have seen all my wishes, at the moment when I am about to embark on the journey, I only have deep blessings left in my heart. I pray that the fellow practitioners in Singapore and all the destined beings in the Dharma can feel it all the time. The Buddha's light illuminates, turning anxiety into tranquility, turning conflict into peace, and staying in the joy of Fa-rectification from time to time until finally liberation.Goodbye, everyone!

The following story can be used as a clear reference for our spiritual state of mind.In a church in Northern Europe, there is a bitter statue of Jesus crucified on a cross, about the same size as an average person.Because there is responsiveness, so I made a special trip to pray here, and there are so many people who worship it, which can almost be described as a crowded city.A doorman in the church looked at Jesus on the cross. He had to deal with the demands of so many people every day. He couldn't bear it. He wanted to share the hardships of Jesus.One day when he prayed, he expressed his wish to Jesus on the image of suffering.Unexpectedly, he heard a voice saying, "Okay! I will come down to watch the door for you, and you will be nailed to the cross. But no matter what you see or hear, you can't say a word." This gentleman I think this requirement is simple.So Jesus came down, the gentleman at the door went up and stretched out his arms like Jesus was crucified. The bitter image was originally carved like a real person, so the people who came to worship did not suspect him, and this gentleman followed the previous agreement. , Be silent, listen to the aspirations of believers.There is an endless stream of people coming and going, and their prayers are reasonable and unreasonable, and they are all odd and strange.But in any case, he resisted and did not speak, because he had to keep his previous promises.One day, a wealthy businessman came, and when he finished praying, he even forgot the money at hand and left.He saw it in his eyes and wanted to call the rich businessman back, but he couldn't say anything.Then came a poor man who didn't eat enough to eat. He prayed that Jesus would help him to tide over the difficulties of life.When I was about to leave, I found the bag left by the previous wealthy businessman and opened it was full of money.The poor were overjoyed. Jesus was so kind, and he was grateful to leave.The disguised Jesus on the cross looked in his eyes and wanted to tell him that this is not yours and you cannot take it away.However, the appointment was first, so he still couldn't say.Next, a young man who was going to travel to sea came to pray for Jesus to bless him and be safe.Just as he was about to leave, the wealthy businessman rushed in, grabbed the young man's shirt, and asked the young man to pay back the money. The young man didn't understand the reason, and the two quarreled.At this time, the disguised Jesus on the cross finally couldn't help it, so he spoke.Now that everything is clear, the rich businessmen go to the poor people described by the fake Jesus to get the money back, while the young people leave in a hurry, for fear that they won't be able to get on the boat.At this time, Jesus pretending to be a gatekeeper appeared, and he pointed to the cross and said, "Come down! You are not qualified for that position." The gatekeeper said, "I tell the truth and hold justice. Isn't it right? It's me. Is it wrong?" Jesus said, "What do you know? The rich businessman is not short of money. His bag of money is only used for prostitution, but for the poor, it can save a family's livelihood; the most pitiful thing is that This young man, if the wealthy businessman keeps entangled and delays his time to go to sea, he can still save his life, and now, the ship he was on is sinking into the sea." This is a story that sounds a bit like a joke, but It reveals that all the "chances" that are arranged in the dark are in it.In real life, we often think what is the best, but Buddhas and Bodhisattvas may have better plans.If we realize this, we will also believe that what we currently have and are facing, regardless of prosperity or adversity, are the best arrangements for us by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.If this is the case, we can be grateful in good times and still be happy in bad times.And when we are motivated to save sentient beings, we can let go of our self-righteous prejudices and not stick to the various deeds we cling to, and become an eventful "good person."

In the past, someone asked Lord Sakyamuni, why the land of other Buddhas after enlightenment was pure and untainted, but the land that you have emerged is this five-turbid and evil world?After the Blessed One listened, he used his feet to show his magical powers, and suddenly a bright and pure land like the world of bliss appeared.It turns out that in everyone’s heart there is indeed a realm of Dharma conceived by one’s own mind, and although the realm of Dharma conceived by every sentient being is in the same place, they can overlap without hindering each other, so they are also in this world. The world that Sakyamuni has seen in the eyes is no different from the world of bliss created by Amitabha with a pure heart. Although he is in a bad world, he is still comfortable and free of suffering. If his heart is turbid and evil, the world he lives in will be turbid and evil. It is not that he has left this turbid and evil time and space, and there is another pure time and space.Therefore, in Buddhism, our practice is to return to simplicity and to restore our own pure nature, so that the pure world manifested by a pure mind can replace all the filth and troubles manifested by the delusion. It turns out that the so-called eighty-four thousand in Buddhism What the method needs to cultivate is nothing more than this thing! But now, although we seem to be able to recognize some truths and understand less of the methods of treatment and improvement, we are really facing the real life. When we are in a situation, our thoughts will always follow the past habits, maladies and delusions. If we say that the truth is truly understood, it should be able to have an effect in reality. what?What is going on here?Could it be because our karma and habits since the beginning of the karma are too heavy or too heavy, or that the seventh consciousness as the only consciousists say, the strength of the "Muna consciousness" to strengthen attachments far exceeds ours Reason, makes us continue to recognize the false as true, happy, sad and resentful for all gains and losses, just like a fool watching a play, knowing that it is just a play, but still following the joy, anger, sorrow, and joy of the people in the play. Happy but not independent.It seems that practice is really something that can be done without a husband.Even though it is difficult, our pure bodhichitta has shown light in a single moment in a thousand years of dark night, but then it disappears. Therefore, it is only in Zen that we have to cultivate after enlightenment, and our kung fu must be maintained.The bodhisattva's practice also has to go through three more aksang karma, and even the immeasurable karma, in order to cultivate according to the enlightenment path and produce the real power to cure karma and habits.Hey! Cultivation seems simple, but it is not easy! When will we be like the old monk Xuyun, who accidentally broke a hot tea cup after traveling thousands of miles, and completely shattered the solidity of his heart since he was innocent. Perseverance, presumably his kind of freedom and relief at the time was beyond words.And by this time, he must be living in this blissful world like the Blessed One, able to play the world at will and dream about the Buddha in the world; he can rejoice with the joy of all beings, follow the sorrow and sadness of all beings, and follow all beings. What I feel, I am completely immersed in the pure world I created, wow! How free and easy this kind of life will be!

When talking about her, I believe that many classmates did not hold much hope for what she said.After three months of intensive group training, it was finally the turn of the mage to take the seat, wow! That was really "Senior goodbye for three days, admiring each other." I saw her calmly and powerfully, not eagerly. Encouraging the public and exuding the compassion and Taoism of a practitioner. She has performed all the fundamental deeds she has made in the past ten years as a monk. The students were very touched by the teaching method of the old monk. , Have a deeper confidence and understanding.In addition, there is a very special phenomenon in our training class. In this class, there are a total of five male laymen and four female laymen and masters who are studying together to give lectures. In the form of the puja, it must be arranged in accordance with the established rituals. In daily life, all the substantive use, rights and obligations are equal to those of the monks. Even the group classrooms and hardware equipment that we are allocated according to the lottery are equal. It is still the best one. Here, we can see the equal realm of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva.In our group, there are a total of four female laymen, three female mages, and the instructor is Cheng Yuan. They study together, help each other, and are happy and harmonious. The mages can also adapt to the equal Taoism here. Treating the laymen can be equal and respectful, which makes us admire the mage's practice even more.This kind of learning atmosphere is probably not easy to see in other places.In the same way, a layman who is intent on teaching sutras and sayings becomes a mage when he comes to power. He speaks on behalf of the Buddha. Therefore, in terms of the precepts, although the precepts are only the bodhisattva precepts, it is not as strict as the precepts of the monks, and our own The practice is also far less than that of monks, but in fact, it is also necessary to "have all the precepts" as the goal of maintaining oneself, and constantly follow the monks, so that they can be called a master who speaks on behalf of the Buddha.In a blink of an eye, the students of our fifth training class are about to graduate. The old monks and the president think that these students are already capable of tutoring the next classmates. This is really gratifying and joyful.Looking back on this period of time, I can’t help but feel a lot of emotion. The thirty-three students of our fifth class have not only supported and grown together in this learning process, but also have many similar achievements in practice. In between these various movements, a strong sense of Taoism and tacit understanding were also unconsciously established.Although all dharmas have no self-nature, and all phenomena are just false states formed by the continuity of cause, condition and conjunction, and cannot be attached, we must also rely on the six elements to contact the outside world and at the same time to personally verify the principles of phenomena.Therefore, during this time of meeting with all the good people, I also deeply cherish and appreciate it. This experience gave us many profound experiences. This is really thanks to the blessings of the Three Jewels and With the compassionate achievements of the great bodhisattvas protectors, we have such a unique cause for learning.The above is just a brief description of the learning during the training period, and does not fully explain the profound meaning. During the period, he was introduced to the Taipei Buddha Education Foundation to study. Speaking; but because of this, I was deeply aware of the inconvenience of teaching the Fa by a layman, so I began to shave my heart and fulfill my first wish.After the ordination, Master arranged and courtesy of a layman in Yangmingshan, hoping that the permanent residents of Mo Xue would teach the Fa at the Yangming Shan Taoist Temple. However, Mo Xue felt that his merits were not sufficient, so he decided to decline this exceptionally rare opportunity. Fate, and chose to go to the jungle dojo in the mainland to participate in learning and training. Unexpectedly, the Dharma fate will be more special and benefit a lot from this trip.At the end of the school, the female novices continued to teach the Fa at a certain temple in Beijing, and received enthusiastic responses from the local practitioners.According to the master, monasteries used to only invite monks from Buddhist colleges to ascend their thrones, and there were originally very few opportunities for female bhikkhus in the country to ascend thrones, let alone novices, so this is unprecedented.During the period when I was studying in Beijing, I gained public achievement in the end of my studies. During my stay at the temple, I was able to go to Xi’an to welcome the Buddha's finger relics and return to Famen Temple. Six degrees, ten wishes...and other learning programs, and went to the Pushou Temple of the Wutai Mountain School of Ordination to participate in the school, and worshipped the Wufang Manjusri Terrace.During the four-day itinerary of our visit to Xi’an, we and several fellow practitioners went to seven ancient courtyard monasteries in total, and met many eminent monks and great virtues, and we could deeply feel the ancient history from the deeds recorded by them. The sentiment of the great virtues.During this period, I got acquainted with the abbot of a temple in Fengning County, and he kindly invited me to establish Dharma affinity with the local practitioners.The temple was built on a mountain, close to a Manchu autonomous region in Inner Mongolia, and a 50-minute stone road drive from the village. The living environment is harsh, and the temperature is 8 to 9 degrees lower than that of Beijing, which was about minus at that time.During the three days in the temple, we encountered the powerful sandstorm that was second only to the seventh day of the third month of the lunar calendar this year; the entire sky was covered with strong winds and yellow sand, and we couldn’t see our fingers. This was because the strong winds drove the sand in Inner Mongolia and other places. Blowing to the south has caused this phenomenon. We, who have lived in the south for a long time, have never seen it. It is said that this year’s sandstorms have harmed South Korea and Japan, and the global climate is rapidly deteriorating.On the day I arrived at the monastery, it was already past eleven o’clock in the evening. The abbot arranged for a few resident laymen to stay with me in the squatter. A fellow practitioner from the Manchu ethnic group came with her about six-year-old daughter to place the order. As soon as they saw me, they told me a real snake spirit incident, which made me horrified and lumpy all over, and then they asked me how to deal with it.She said that there is a large snake with a body diameter of about 15 cm. It often turns into a female body. It goes to the hut and dances with the body, and then asks for refuge. The resident layman in the temple does not agree to her refuge. I am afraid that her magnetic field will affect other people. repair.For the sake of prudence, I asked other laymen for confirmation and asked them if they were afraid. Both adults and children expressed fear.Originally, I arrived in this completely unfamiliar environment for the first time near midnight. After hearing this kind of fantasy, I was really terrified. It was only superficially calm, but at the same time I thought, since I am a mage. , I have an obligation to shoulder the responsibility of helping sentient beings. I decided not to escape any obstacles, so I immediately let go of distractions, and told them very cautiously and earnestly: "Snake spirits are also sentient beings in the Dharma world. It is a good thing that it has good roots and wants to learn. We should accomplish it as we pleased. If we are worried that it will affect fellow practitioners, we should persuade it to practice on its own after returning to the Three Jewels, and not to hinder others, so as not to forge bad ties, and it is also due to our good thoughts. Achievement, I believe it will also take care of the dojo and will not harm fellow practitioners. We don’t need to be afraid of it.” Later, on the third day of ascension to give lectures, fellow practitioners told me that it also showed up to participate in refuge. And when I listened to my lecture in the main hall, the fellow practitioners were no longer afraid of it.The learning experience in Fengning County this time was truly unprecedented for me. It not only tested my tolerance for harsh environments, but also sparked more enthusiasm for teaching the Fa. This was all from the local practitioners. Blessed by their sincerity, whether they are young children or elderly people, they respectfully pray to the Master. Their eager and humble attitude to study really makes us feel bad, especially when they parted with tears. He prayed and hoped, which made me secretly motivated. I must do my best to help them get away from suffering and happiness.After returning to Beijing, I took part in the Seventh Buddhism group practice in the temple. At the same time, I also accepted the confession of the practitioners in many small Buddhist halls. I am very happy and satisfied with the Dharma. Personally, I have exercised all kinds of coping and opportunistic Dharma experience in such mutual discussions and exchanges. For a master who is dedicated to learning teachings, this form of Dharma advocacy can indeed be achieved. Supervise yourself that you must pay equal attention to relieving behavior in your daily life in order to truly share the true experience with fellow practitioners.Therefore, the old monk persuaded us not to worry about listening to many or less lectures, as long as someone respectfully asks for the Dharma, it is a good time to hone and form bonds.In addition, in Beijing, there are also invitations from local university Buddhist associations. However, in order to avoid violating the laws and regulations of public gatherings, they declined one by one. This is indeed deeply regrettable. I only hope that the domestic legal standards for Buddhism can be met. Open as soon as possible so that thousands of compatriots can get the peaceful support of Buddhism.The last time I was studying in Beijing, as a guest, in a blink of an eye, the time of two and a half months passed so quickly. Although the heart of propagating the Dharma is still unfinished, there is no permanent banquet in the world, even if there is some reluctance, it must be Let go, this is a principle to be followed.So I left Beijing temporarily full of fulfillment and joy.The old monk often warned the students in our training class that they must continue to train on the podium. Even if they can’t keep the podium, they must seize the opportunity to practice. They must practice for a long time, and at the same time, they must be steady on the foundation of virtue. Only by speaking the Fa in this way can we have true qi, and we can truly capture the audience's life and be self-interested.At present, there are few long-term opportunities to teach the Fa in China. In fact, there are not many. This is caused by various factors in the general environment. Especially as female mages and lay priests, let alone, so here At the end of the school, I also encouraged the students in the Dharma training class. We must be able to grasp various opportunities for practice. It is best to talk for a few years in one place, so that the body, mind, and teaching skills will be more stable and mature, and then we will be able to build a lot of dharma. Only in this way can we cultivate true rooted merits, and will not fail Shifang's expectations and cultivation of us.The above is only a superficial knowledge to share with fellow practitioners. I hope that the fellow practitioners can also gain some experience. I hope it will be enough!
(XNUMX) The cause and fate of lawyers learning the precepts by Zhi Guoqing
It just happened in April 2013 at the beginning of this year. I will now talk about the second test of myself. This is really my personal experience. My personal affairs have something to do with me personally. I was here in April of this year. Taiwan’s Kaohsiung Wuguang Abode, which is also a dojo where women learn the rules and practice precepts and recite the Buddha. It was also a bondage for more than ten years ago. So this time I went to fight the seventh Buddha. I participated in them in April this year. The Seventh Buddha was held by Lawyer Guoqing and he was in charge of the law. I went there because I wanted to fight the Seventh Buddha, so I signed up and went to fight the Seventh Buddha. After I went there, I realized that lawyer Guoqing was in charge of the law, and I would know Guoqing. Lawyer Qing's fate was also because of that time.
I said that this was really an arrangement of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas for me, so that I could have a karmic relationship with Lawyer Guoqing among the seven Buddhas.That time during the seven days, I felt that Monk Qing gave me a great blessing. I was placed in the first seat in Xidan, the first seat in the first row. The seventh monk was in the middle, and we were very close. I often feel that the seventh monk is blessing me, and his manners and manners make people feel very kind and stable. From morning to night, Liuzhixiang has never left. He feels that the whole person is devoted to chanting Buddha. In this situation, I also feel very happy. Everyone blesses each other.
So I was able to live very well in the chanting hall, and I went to participate in the chanting of Buddhism. My mentality is to enjoy chanting, which is different from the mentality of chanting Buddhism. I have already said that I often record videos. I also often mentioned that after we have established our faith in rebirth, the taste of reciting the Buddha is different. Therefore, when I play the seventh Buddha, I am enjoying the seventh Buddha. Therefore, I am particularly devoted and joyful in recitation, so I often notice this. The seventh monk cast approving glances. We are all very happy. This kind of joy, the joy emanating from the Buddha recitation is something everyone can understand, because the monk is also very engaged in chanting, so I feel like Both have blessings, so a good bond is formed.
In addition, because of this good condition, I mustered up the courage. I asked the monk to write an inscription for me. I wrote a pamphlet of "The Rules of Buddhism Discipleship". I asked the monk to help me write the inscription. The monk also agreed. I have mentioned these processes during the lecture, so I won’t go into details anymore. Because of the fate of the inscription in the brochure, I think I should respectfully go to the monk’s place and invite me back, so I just drove. I drove from Taitung to Puli to meet the monk. I drove for five or six hours, six or seven hours. Because I was a road idiot, I had to find the way. Then I saw him. After meeting, I found that the fate was better than before. The Seven Buddha's fate is better, because meeting and talking are different. Later, I decided to rely on him right now, and further became a teacher-student relationship. I relied on him to learn the precepts, which can also be said to be blessed by him.
It’s because of us. I’ve been a monk for 15 years. Of course, we have to learn the basic precepts and try our best to uphold them. For example, when we are in the Sangha, we are in the jungle under the old monk Xuyun Daofeng on Lantau Island. Maybe we don’t learn the vows and keep the vows. We also have to chant the vows for half a month and a half month. There are still many dojos that are the same. Many of our monk vows in our Jingzong Society also have a predestined condition. But basically, we monks are required to observe the precepts, so for me, I don’t think I have to deliberately study the precepts. After all, our major is to recite the Buddha.
This is because of the teaching methods of each school, and the current style of study and Taoism of each dojo will be different. You have to learn the precepts, but how to implement them and to what extent they are implemented, each school has its own style. The sects are not the same. The resident monks of different sects are different in what they hold. That is because our lawyer Guoqing specializes in the study of precepts, so when this cause is mature, he will of course encourage him We need to do further research, learn the precepts, and keep the precepts.
(XNUMX) Those who feel that the Three Jewels are blessed are naturally more happy and diligent
It is true that we have not maintained many of the precepts. We must confess cleanly, and then try our best to maintain it, because sometimes there is no way. We still have to open the predestined relationship when we go out a lot. It is not that we deliberately fail to maintain it, like Ananda. Before the Buddha passed away, Ananda also consulted the Buddha. The Buddha told him that the little precepts can be given up, which means that many precepts are required when you travel outside to teach sentient beings. The Hinayana precepts focus on things. For example, some If you are not suitable for eating with a bowl, you will find it weird. Everyone sits at a table and everyone takes a bowl. You are the only one who takes a bowl. People think you are contrived, and sentient beings will be troubled or not happy. It violates the precepts of Mahayana.
Mahayana precepts mainly focus on the "mind" and make all living beings happy, and then implement these spirits of compassion and so on. Compared with the Hinayana method, it is more important to carry out the situation. This is very different, so the large and small multiplications It’s not easy how to integrate the commandments of "opening the prisoner." It’s not easy to learn for a lifetime, but of course they are all improving. So now that we encounter this cause, the monk blesses and encourages us. It’s hard to slack off anymore, right?It’s hard to slack off any more. In addition, our own majors are already quite certain. I have also told you before that a true Buddha cultivator who builds confidence in rebirth, he showed that you truly believe in your true wishes, you don’t You may not be more diligent, you can't not like to recite Buddha more, and you can't not practice.
Where does the practice come from?Keeping the precepts "precipitation, concentration and wisdom" is an inevitable response, otherwise you will still be greedy for the five desires, and your interest is still in the five desires and six dusts, then you are not true and genuine, you must be doing the Tao with one heart, keeping the precepts and reciting the Buddha. That’s why this is a person who recites the Buddha who has a real chance to die. I am also like this. This is also the fact that I am more and more fond of recitation. In a very strict dojo, I dare to sign up for the Seventh Buddha. If I don't like to recite the Buddha, why should I suffer by myself?
And time and time again, I myself... I am also like this in my daily life. I like to recite Buddhism very much, and then I am more diligent in all aspects of my studies. This has been the case for many years, not a day or two. Maybe the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas also know that we continue to improve, and these improvements do not feel that I have a need, but that I am willing to do so. I am grateful for the blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Sharing nature is natural, and at the same time we also understand ourselves. This is also our own double cultivation of blessings and wisdom, making good connections, so nature is naturally happy and more diligent.
It may be that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas saw this state of ours and gave us better fate, so there is a cause and condition of getting close to Guoqing, then he asked me to hold noon, not eating after lunch is because of this cause and condition. Yes, and then asked us to memorize the vows, memorizing the vows, and I will try my best to follow this cause and condition to learn as much as possible. I am very happy that the condition has always been good.
(XNUMX) The experience of getting close to Master Bhikkhu for the first time
Then, every time during that period of time, I said that since I was dependent, I felt that I should have a heart, in order to respect the teacher, then I would probably... after the dependence in April. I went to see him about once a month, and I drove six or seven hours from Taitung to Puli to meet the monk. He was very happy when he saw me, and he even sent me down for lunch, because this is a dojo for men and the precepts are also Very strict, especially let me sit at a table, and then the monk will talk to me for a long time, generally speaking, it is unlikely that there will be such a cause.
Because we all have to practice the "Eight Respect". The "Eight Respect" Bhikkhuni has many rules when meeting with the bhikkhu, and then respectfully bows, and leaves after speaking at most a few words, but every time I go to the monk, I always follow the rules. I talked for a long time, and I was very caring and kind, including why Master Dinghong would... the old monk confessed to him to learn the commandments with him. The monk personally told me, just like a family, he said "Eh. , Do you know that Master Dinghong is here to learn the precepts? I said "I don't know" very kindly.
According to our general concept, there is also the precepts. Generally speaking, when a bhikkhu meets a bhikshuni, there is a completely different situation. Basically, our precepts stipulate that the bhikshuni should consult the precepts for half a month and half a month. That is to say, it is stipulated that the upper bhikshuni cannot completely draw a line from the bhikkhu, it is to learn from the bhikkhu, and then the bhikkhu is also obliged to guide the bhikshuni, and then there is a rule of the "eight respects" that is special Respect and so on. This is what we want, but we must not live together and we must maintain a certain relationship. Everyone protects each other, and can maintain a state of pure practice. These are all of our monks' precepts. The regulations are very clear.
But the precepts are very lively. People who really hold the precepts well, especially monks, I grew up because my grandparents hurt me when I was young. My relationship with the elderly is very good, so you see that I have been with us all the way. The old monk Jingkong, the old Master Shengyi, and the current lawyer Guoqing, they are all old monks with great virtues on one side. I have a very good relationship with them. I feel that when I am with these elders, it is special. He is warm, very kind, and not afraid, so it seems that fate is particularly good, so there is a lot of benefit from visiting him once a month. The content of the conversation is also very wide. If you have any questions, you can directly ask him.
In the process of these several times, it is not every month from April to October. Almost, I have been there a few times, and there are some waiters and masters who come together to greet them, because we cannot talk alone in the precepts. So when the monk talks to me, the waiter must be there, and he will come into contact with other bhikkhu masters, so we are more familiar with a few masters around me. This is me... and it is also for me. Very good learning experience.
Because I have been a monk for more than ten years, I can say that I don’t know how to get along with bhikkhus and have no experience. Even though I was a monk, I shaved under the bhikkhu’s seat. Although at that stage there was also a co-existence of men and women in Singapore’s Jingzong Society, Master Bhikkhu and I basically didn’t talk about anything. It was only me. Others might have, as well as a few, and they all formed very well. My fellow Taoist fellows, so I actually don’t really understand how to implement the "Eight Journeys" or how to interact with monks.
In October of this year, there was another cause and fate. We did everything by fate. We didn’t arrange it by ourselves. My classmate, our classmate of the XNUMXth Dharma Propaganda Training Class invited me to the Internet. He saw the results of my Dharma Propaganda on the Internet. Very good. He thinks that I have a special relationship with Dharma, and the attitudes of the people who come to me to study are very good in all aspects. He admires it very much. Our fellow practitioners are respectful and observing the rules very well. Come to our platform. Those who studied, he invited me to Toronto, Canada to preach the Dharma. Many of you fellow practitioners know that I went there for two months, (September) XNUMXst, and then I was in early November. I don’t remember how old I was. When I came back, I talked for two months and gave more than XNUMX lectures.
When he invited me to go, I didn’t agree. Even though I was a classmate during the school period, I didn’t have three sentences with him in half a year and didn’t know him well, but I knew that he was a classmate, so I didn’t immediately agree. And at the time, I arranged for our Facebook classmates to go to Po Lam Temple in Lantau, Hong Kong to practice asceticism. Originally, I wanted to take them there, so I didn’t have time to leave. I also wanted to visit the old monk. As long as I go to Hong Kong, I will definitely visit our old monk Jingkong, so I originally planned to take these two things, one is to take our Facebook classmates to Hong Kong Lantau to exercise, to practice asceticism, because the road is not easy to find, I think I took them there, all arrangements were made, but the flight tickets were not bought yet, the itinerary was arranged and we were all contacted. We have already contacted the master master of Baolin Temple.
As a result, he came to invite me. I said that the time was not up to date. He said, "No, no, I tell you that lawyer Guoqing is going to preach the precepts, you must first help me, teach the precepts, and persuade more people. Come to receive ordination like this, I said, "Ah, lawyer Guo Qing is going? "Then I will definitely go, because he is my master, the monk who just followed and preaches, because I myself, the monk recently confessed to me to recite the precepts, but I still dare not agree to the monks’ precepts, even though they are. The monk asks to memorize both "Brahma Net Ring" and "Bhikshuni Ring". I said I will try it first. Now I am starting to carry "Brahma Net Ring" at such an age. I don't know if it is good to memorize it, and it is not very popular. Heart, because I think the precepts are to be held one by one in life. This is more important. Of course, it is also to find a reason. If you can memorize it whole and it will not prevent you from being held in life, this is even more important. It is best to memorize it.
Since I want to recite the precepts and preach the precepts, of course I am asking me to preach the precepts at this time, because I also want to teach, I also want to teach the precepts again, I also want to, and I have agreed to the monk, so I also need to do my homework. It happened to be within the relevant scope, so I agreed. Later, I asked him again, and I said, "You came because the monk is going to invite me to teach the precepts?" He said no, it was complete. It doesn’t matter, so this is really the arrangement of the Buddha and Bodhisattva. I met attorney Guo Qing again. On the one hand, we are classmates. On the other hand, he saw my dissemination on Facebook and he wanted to invite me. Lectures, because he often invited many classmates and seniors to give lectures, and once there were two months, six months, two or three days. On the one hand, he just wanted to do so, so he invited lawyer Guo Qing to preach the precepts. He didn’t know that we knew each other beforehand. In other words, I didn’t meet together because Monk Guoqing was going to go. So this cause and fate means that we are predestined. If we are predestined, then everyone meets again.
This time I spent ten days with Bhikkhu masters in Toronto. It is basically impossible for bhikkhuni and bhikkhus to get along for ten days, because all the monks in Qing know that they are strict and strict. If there is no reason for working together, doing things together is impossible. Bhikkhus and bhikshuni will get along for ten days, because we each have their own jobs there. I am propagating the Dharma. They are preparing to preach the precepts. After preaching the precepts, there will be a few days in the sky. Our classmates, the abbot over there. I also arranged for the monk to walk around, so I must accompany me, I am a disciple, and the abbot, our classmate, he also needs me to help him greet the monk, as well as several monk masters who are with him, so I also have to appear. This is a cause and fate that no one can deliberately arrange. This is that everyone must appear, and it is very important.
The ten days were very pleasant to get along with, that is, everyone’s fate was very good, and everyone was very happy to get along with each other. Then I also felt that because of that time I walked with the monk and the master of the two monasteries that the monk was responsible for. Have all appeared, so there are a total of five monks with us, including our monks. I think they are all excellent, but the other two are young monks, the waiters, the waiters of the monks, and the two masters, so these five The monks are all. I felt that I was very good at the time, and I admired it, because although the waiters were still young and ordained for not many years, they can take the pure precepts and learn the precepts so that they are so young. Those who memorize the vows are very strict under the monks’ discipline. The vows memorization is the most basic, and then in life, in the Sangha, a vows practice, of course, not everyone does it well. That’s for sure. Any organization has uneven levels, and it may even be harmful to the horses of the herd, but in general the dojo managed by the monk is always based on the precepts and learning precepts, so it will be more strict.
(XNUMX) The process of sending your heart to support the monk for the first time
Maybe it’s because they are also more active in keeping the precepts. In the dojo, we have the rules. Because I have also stayed in the jungle of Lantau, Hong Kong, where I practiced the "eight respects." Separate, we don’t even have morning and evening classes together. We all have a hall for morning and evening classes. This can be regarded as living together in the same way. The men and women do not live together. It is very dangerous if there are only bhikkhuni in the deep mountains, then we There are only two times for the bhikshuni to see the bhikkhus, that is, they can come to the class within half an hour after the end of the morning fast and the noon fast. The class is the responsibility of the men. The Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island, and two bhikkhus must travel together. Go alone, and you have to put on your clothes. Seeing that the monk has to put on your clothes, you have to bow and bow your clothes. We have to implement all the rules in our lives.,
So I was very scared when I saw the bhikkhu. The feeling that the bhikkhu gave me, my impression was that I would "pipi frustrated" when I saw me and I would tremble, because I was scolded by the bhikkhu, and I was repaired when I went there. It was very miserable, and it was also miserably repaired by the monk, because when it was a niche group (the novice), I mentioned this on the disc before, so I was very afraid of the monk, and logically speaking, my personality was not. We are afraid of people, and we can say that women have more power than men in the society, and they receive more special treatment, so it is a very big...very different experience for me, but because of that kind of experience. We will naturally follow the rules under the magnetic field, so I am very respectful to Biqiu.
If it’s also the men’s dojo where monks and others study the precepts of the Qing Dynasty. When I went there, everyone was very disciplined. I didn’t even dare to look at Master Bhikkhu. There were a lot of people in the church. They happened to have a knot during that period. There are a lot of people during the summer. There are nearly XNUMX people. I don’t dare to look at it. I keep my head down and honestly put on clothes, hold bowls, and go to the hall. I leave as soon as I’m over, but it’s because of the Qing monk. He was very kind to me, and the waiter around him was also to me... Then in October of this year, I went abroad and worked together again, so I felt like a family. I felt like I felt as if I was clean. The monk is the head of the patriarch, and the people around us feel like brothers and sisters. There is such an atmosphere, so they are also lively and vigorous in keeping the precepts. They will not make you feel as if you are a bhikshuni and then... the feeling was like this at the time. , There would not seem to be a sense of distance, and I was a mage over there at the time, and the abbot invited me to preach the Dharma. My position should also be respected. They believe that the attitude shown is quite respectful. Mine, just like this, the ten days of getting along with each other have ended.
It’s just after these ten days of getting along with the karma that I became acquainted with the waiters around the monk. The two waiters are both young men in their thirties. They feel like younger brothers. Of course, we must respect them as monks. Then we all called Master XX. We followed the rules in all aspects of addressing, but we felt that because we were very familiar, we felt that fate was particularly good. Usually because of our precepts, we can’t meet alone. There can be no other karma, so after this karma is over, we are in communication with each other, because most of the things related to the Qing monk have to be arranged by the waiter, so we usually keep in touch occasionally.
But it’s strange that after the ten days of getting along, the fate between me and the waiter seems to have reached the peak. Reaching the peak means that the downhill is about to start, and the downhill is about to start. How about this?Counting the time, it’s been almost half a year since I got together for ten days from April to that time. Although I didn’t contact frequently, I’ve been acquainted for almost half a year, and after ten days of getting along with each other, I became very familiar. I feel that there is a master bhikkhu, a waiter, he made me feel that he took the initiative to take care of me, in fact, from the realization of the present, in the past six months, because I just said that I have no experience with bhikkhus, I don’t know how This is appropriate, because there is an "opening and holding offense" in keeping the precepts, and you can't be rigid. You can't be too inferior. Moreover, each person's personality and expression are different.
Like on Lantau Island, I saw a monk and I was trembling. I didn’t dare to say a word. I would go back after three years of summer. There were many opportunities. I didn’t dare and didn’t need it. There was no need, and we wouldn’t. I deliberately have something to talk to the monk, but this monk is very proactive. The monk Qing has two waiters, and the other waiter. We get along very well. We feel that we all respect each other and maintain fate and relationship. It was normal. At that time, the other one, one of them, was from the time I realized that in October, the ten days of getting along, I felt that he was very active and blessed me, as if he was friendly, and his attitude was also very good. It made me feel that the fate with him was very deep, and in the process, he said something to me one after another. Later I asked to verify these words, and he said that it was a joke, but I heard it at the time. Seriously.
Seriously, how to be serious, he said that he will show some as if, I will not go into details about this detail, but my feeling is that I will feel that he needs me to support him, because I also know a lot, At that time, my feeling was that some monks were practicing in the dojo, and they would actually feel insecure. For example, in terms of money, monks cannot save money. Even if you open fate to save money, you can’t save too much. It’s easier to open, so some The monks will feel insecure and hope that some people will support them, or that some people have ideals and aspirations. They also need someone to support them in the future. This is very common. The phenomenon.
At that time, the waiter made me feel that he needs my support, so my feeling is that I am willing to support too. Why?I just said that everyone has a very good relationship, and we admire them for learning the precepts and practicing precepts. We are also a disciple next to Monk Qing, so I have been feeling him one after another over the past few months. It also takes care of me. We naturally have a heart of repaying. This is not because I deliberately said "Eh, I think I'm going to find someone to support me", no, I do whatever happens, just like me When I go to the monk, I also provide equal support to the monk and the permanent residents.
That is, we have some rules for making offerings. In our "Bodhisattva Precepts", we have explained clearly how to make offerings to the Three Jewels, what mentality, equal offerings, etc. Then I have done all of these, but we have to look at each of the individual support. Karma, just like we are laymen, you also need to protect the mage and the dojo. It depends on your karma. If you feel that the karma is deep, you will be more motivated. This is all normal. The karma of death depends on your own wishes. The two waiters are the same, and the other one is just like me... to ordinary monks and monks, I am as equal and respectful as other resident.
And the waiter gave me the feeling that he would be compassionate towards him, that he was too tired, etc., and then his physical health was not very good, so I thought of saying "Oh, this is fine, donate this piece of land." Give it to him".
I’ve been talking about it for a long time now. My current cause is this land and shutting down the house. I just talked about our two hundred square feet of land on the mountain. It would be a good thing if I donate it to him. The first one is because he is Bhikkhu, the second is to learn the precepts. Then I know that monks also need short-term retreat or diligence. Yes, of course it is the best. No, it is helpless. You can only live in the temple.
Do I use this land for me?Yes, can I not use it?It’s okay. I’m very casual. When I was a layman, I was devoted to circulating magic weapons. I can already say that the same thing I need, but I just happened to meet this person. I think he also needs me. To him, I can already do this level. I won’t let it go. It doesn’t matter if these external material things are there or not, because I think there will be when I really need them. Have this confidence.
So when I felt that he needed my support, I suddenly thought, okay, give him this piece of land so that they can do things with peace of mind, and when I told him, I said I was unconditional, because I had already had a bad experience when I was going to donate to a female sangha group. Then I don’t want to be misunderstood again. I just said, I made it very clear that I am unconditional. Why do I have to donate?It's because it's from the ten directions. Everyone uses the same thing. It doesn't matter to me, it doesn't matter if I have it or not.
I myself now live in such a big place. I don’t need anything. I have been a monk for more than ten years, probably until the first five, six, six, or seven years. I didn’t even save money, and I didn’t even save money. There will be no shortage of money. What's more, for so many years now, the law protector has always been very diligent. I have never been worried about the problem of food. It is really worrying about the road and not worrying about the poor. It used to be worrying about the road, and now it is even The Dao Karma is no longer worrying, and if I have faith in my next life, I am not afraid. Therefore, in the past few years, I have basically had no obvious troubles, and I am very happy every day.
That’s why I’m very refreshed. For me, this is nothing. It’s not a thing of hundreds of millions. Our land is also very cheap. Buying this land in Taitung is only about one million Taiwan dollars, which is very cheap. But it can add value. Because this is a construction site, it can add value soon, so it is considered a good place, and it can be used well. I mentioned it to him. It happened that the time was in those ten days. After getting along with each other, I mentioned this in the message. I said that donating this land to you is an unconditional donation. Then I will absolutely not interfere or participate in any opinions about how you want to use it, and even say that it is my heart. I also think inside, if I continue to participate in the future, I don't have the ability, and I don't have the ability, so I must also make it clear. On the one hand, it is also inconvenient in terms of precepts.
Because I don’t want to say that I often work with bhikkhus. Although many dojos live together with men and women, bhikkhus and bhikkhus live together. There are many two dojos. Then what do bhikkhus do?Do some cooking and cleaning work, right?The bhikkhu is like this. I don’t think I don’t want to play this role. I can’t do it either. It’s basically a bhikkhu who supports the bhikkhu, because the "Eight Prayer Dharma" also has such a spirit. If you live together, you can’t do it. Ask the bhikkhu to cook rice for the bhikkhuni, right?So I don’t think I would like to have any special fate in the future.
I am now motivated to donate this piece of land to you, and if you use it, then I will feel that I will save more trouble, because you can make good use of this cause and effect, and the cause and effect can be shared by everyone, and the six and the respect of "profit and equality", this They are all very Dharma, rational, and reasonable. I also feel that I am also cultivating blessings for myself. On the one hand, I make good use of donations from the Dharma, and on the other hand, I am also nurturing blessings, because I protect the monks who learn the precepts , If he goes to make good use of it, then I am also cultivating blessings, right?I have such an idea.
(XNUMX) Sudden reversal of the harmonious relationship
As a result, as soon as the message to donate the land to him was sent, just ten days of getting along, after the fate of the Toronto Precepts Meeting was over, they left, and then he suddenly stopped responding. I said it was so strange?What happened, what happened?Then after a few days, he responded by saying that he was sick and cold in the past few days. This reason was normal, and I didn’t think about it too much. It just suddenly felt like that, that is to say, everyone was in harmony. , And then it is natural that everyone gets along in the same way as the law, we are very normal even if we even think about us, there can be no bad state, and the relationship is very harmonious.
Suddenly it made me alert to "Huh? Why is it weird?" All of a sudden, I felt weird, but the response I received was "Nothing, I'm sick, I caught a cold, etc." Okay, then it doesn't matter. Then I waited again. I didn’t answer this topic. We talked about the topic of donating land. He didn’t say to accept or reject, and didn’t talk about it. If he didn’t respond to this matter, then I will continue. Wait, but you know the feeling of waiting is very bad. I don’t know if you can understand it. Then I’m the one who can do things and don’t know how to be a person. Wisdom is not open, what kind of entertainment? Communication, or the exquisite and exquisite variety of things that make people happy, I am really weak and inexperienced in this respect. Since I became a monk or even when I was at home, I just know how to do things and do things all the time. The wisdom of being a human being is not It’s very open, so I’m very particular about efficiency. I’m just waiting to see if he accepts it, or if he has any opinions.
As a result, while I was waiting, I started to get annoyed. I was guessing, "Eh, strange? What happened?" I continued to ask, and the message passed, "What happened?", but the other party was really good enough. I am very determined. If I don’t answer, I don’t answer. That feeling made me feel like I was in Toronto at the time. I almost affected the mood of the lecture, but fortunately, I found that I was also looking at my kung fu at the moment. I don’t affect my work, but I do worry about it. Why?I didn’t sleep well at night, and I kept wondering what happened, whether I did something wrong, or what rules we violated, but because it’s reasonable to donate money, there is nothing between us. , Nothing happened, there was no quarrel in the process of getting along, and there was no situation at all. How could it be like this?Of course, I don't know them, so I can't imagine many things. I don't know why, maybe it's too busy or something, so I'm just in the process of waiting.
Afterwards, I don’t know how long it took. Anyway, maybe a week or two, and then in the end, I’m in trouble every day. When it comes to this matter, you are hanging there, and he sometimes responds to messages occasionally. When I talked about this topic, I didn’t respond to this matter, and when I responded, my attitude was very bad, getting worse and worse. I said that it was strange how I threw me from the sky to the ground. My feeling was that he seemed to take it out quietly. The provisions of the "Eight Respect Law" came out, and then I felt that I didn’t know what I did wrong and where I was wrong, and there was a feeling that I was wronged. His attitude wanted to scold me, it seemed like he wanted Scolding me but there is no very specific content. If you have very specific content, I know where I am wrong, but he didn’t say it. Maybe he doesn’t know, because we don’t understand the personality. Maybe he wants to scold but doesn’t. I am embarrassed to scold, but I can't say it or say it.
Later, I found out that it was he who was wrong. He thought I was tainted with him, understand?I thought I liked him. I thought I liked him, so I gave him the land. This was something that was not confirmed until last week. So I said it was strange that he kept responding during the process and his attitude was not good, but he didn’t. What to say clearly, maybe he thinks he is not easy to say it, because it is just his own guess.Then I was stupid. Last week, the impact was great. This incident was last week. The most painful thing was not when the incident was revealed. When the incident was revealed, everything was easy to talk about, right?We just look at how to deal with it.
The most painful is like when we had injections when we were young, it was very painful to get an injection, right?But when you are waiting for the injection, I don’t know if you have this kind of feeling, that kind of pain, that kind of fear. Kong has goose bumps, so my real pain is quite long, from October to now for nearly two months, except when I am busy, as long as I contact him, or think about it, it is still hanging It hasn't been resolved there, it hasn't become clear, that emotion will be affected, and it is very sad, why?I feel very wronged.
Then every time he sends a message that makes me feel disrespectful, because he will be wrong. On the one hand, he may want to reprimand me. We monks can’t be like this, and we can’t be moved. In fact, I didn’t have any thoughts from beginning to end, and I didn’t taint my heart, because I have been a monk for more than ten years. The classmates and seniors in our training class are better than the others. They are in their XNUMXs, XNUMXs, XNUMXs, and XNUMXs. I've never been more interested in being better than one. It probably has something to do with past-world karma. Just like we are in the world, although we are a little close to many things, we don't feel very interested in it, so naturally we won't be too addicted.
What's more, it seems that I and Bhikkhus are very easy to confront each other, because bhikkhus usually, men tend to want women to be more compliant, so my personality feels like others, and the things I do seem to be stronger. There are also women with a little ability to work. Usually the men treat me. We will be more like brothers, or treated like peers. They rarely treat me as yes, but they are not so corresponding. I feel Therefore, Bichiu has always been close to each other, only being close to the elderly, and being close to the elders and elders, I feel very close and at ease.
So I didn’t expect him to have such a misunderstanding. Of course, this is a big deal, because everyone has to learn the precepts and they are all monks. We especially emphasize the need to learn the precepts. Of course, this matter is a very serious matter. If it is true, then of course this will commit our fundamental sin.
(XNUMX) Dedicated to donate the land for support against being mistakenly recognized as a tainted heart
If it is true, then of course it will commit our fundamental sin, and it is no deeds. But if it is moved, it is not allowed from the perspective of Mahayana. Although in general, you can say that it is possible to become a monk for a long time. You tell him to say that it’s impossible without a thought, and it’s impossible to meet a grievance and a creditor, but I really didn’t, not just to him, nor to other people, even including the men of laymen, I even There have been three or five occasions to meet alone in more than ten years. The special reason is that in legal affairs, some things need to be discussed separately. When driving by car, for more than ten years, even meeting with the layman alone. But three or five times of experience, let alone what other interactions with monks can have.
In addition, I just talked about the problem of my personality. I think that if I am not a man, it is unlikely that I will talk about the development of normal men and women talks, and it will seem to be a relationship like brothers and buddies. It is relatively natural to develop this relationship. This is based on my fate. In other words, men will not like me. At most they will appreciate it, and even threaten them. Wouldn't think of me as a more common female pursuit object, this is my usual cause and fate is like this in the past, and the cause and fate with men is like this, so he did not expect him to have such a misunderstanding.
But it’s very strange that if you misunderstand, you should be able to communicate and talk, and I ask again and again why he treats me like this, is there any misunderstanding, or what’s wrong? You can tell me and I can change it. I have never been like it. With my personality, my figure is not so soft, because I want to learn the precepts from the monk, and I have to learn the "Eight Journeys" well, and do my part as much as possible. We have to be polite. Respect the buddhas, not to mention that the bhikkhu was originally higher than us. I really have made progress. I really told myself to do my best to do my part. I said if I am wrong, you tell me, I Willing to learn and change.
As a result, the other party still didn’t face the problem squarely, and then didn’t respond immediately. Not before. He used to be very diligent. He was so diligent that he felt that he took care of you very much. If there is anything, he must respond immediately. Now, every time a message passes, it takes a long time, and when I respond, I don’t answer your question. For a long time, more than a month, I have kept all these messages, not deliberately, because I I don’t know how to delete that mobile phone. I don’t know how to delete messages when communicating, but I delete messages on the Internet. Because we all have the password for Facebook (Guanglun class students), I just want to say don’t let it. If you have the opportunity to see the conversation of monks, this is also to be considered in the precepts, so I will delete it all, then the interactive communication on these phones is still retained, that is, how many of them have been in a continuous month. In the last interaction, there was no topic, so there was no way to resolve the misunderstanding.
I just talked about my personality, and I wouldn’t just let this matter out of nowhere. I have to figure out exactly where the problem is, so I keep asking, and the messages pass one after another, and then maybe it’s because In this way, the other party misunderstood that I still didn’t give up and didn’t give up on him, but our content and conversation were respectful, and there was nothing at all, but I felt that I began to doubt it. Could it be that he misunderstood, why suddenly such a bad reaction of XNUMX degrees, very disrespectful, I think this kind of harm to me is great, I feel insulted, because I really don't have bad thoughts, and I want to donate to you unconditionally.
Maybe because this support was too big, he was frightened. I can’t believe that we would have to do this unconditionally. Maybe it’s really selfish when we really look at him. This is the view of the secular people, just like our Pure Land Method, Amitabha. He unconditionally gave us all the pure merits, the merits accumulated by immeasurable calamities, how many of us dare to accept, we do not believe it, the root of doubt is too heavy, the root of belief is too weak, and we have such a good intention, I just said that my intention is to achieve my own merits. We try our best to move towards the three-wheel body to get into that realm. At the same time, we also make good use of the donations of the Dharma protector and the responsibility for the cause and effect. We truly practice. It is bound to be done like this, and I also follow the fate, because he took the initiative to make me feel that he needs me to support him, not that I took the initiative to find someone to support him, because I originally planned to use this land, everything It's all done according to cause and condition.
I didn’t expect the other party to have no blessings. He had no blessings. He couldn’t accept this cause and condition. He also messed up our relationship so badly that it made me feel hurt for a long time, and then in the process. I will keep thinking about what is wrong, and I am afraid that Monk Qing will worry, because we are all disciples around the monk. If we have any quarrels or disputes, the monk will worry about it. In case there really is any discord, it is actually a joke to be seen by others, so I have always been very cautious in handling a relationship with everyone, especially the people around me.If there is really no Dharma predestined, everyone should not get along. It’s pretty serious. I can’t sleep well at night. I worry about it for a while and guess what happened. This kind of thing may be big or small. Sometimes we even want to say whether it’s sick or not. It’s very painful to feel bad, get upset, and guess all aspects of it. Later, I wanted to tell the truth. This is also a manifestation. For me, let me experience this kind of inexplicable pain. I don’t know why. For example, if you did something wrong and you were scolded, because something is very clear, you know why you were scolded, and then you did a bad job yourself. There is also a content of reflection, we don’t have it, but In any case, the pain is very real.
Is this pain good?Very good, because it’s been a long time since I didn’t feel that way. I’ve only grown up like this twice. This second time, the first time I was a fellow Daoist. It’s a female group. At that time, I wanted to say yes, that is, I really wanted to experience it. It seems to say that we are going further, we seem to learn to be sincere, and we all achieve each other's achievements together on the Tao. The experience at that time is also the experience that it is better to maintain a proper fate for everyone to work together. That is to say, we have to grasp the middle way. , The two of you are so good, the relationship is so good, sometimes the jealousy obstacles around you, or that you will also be emotionally ups and downs, this is not a good way.
I was also passive in that experience, because Master Bhikshuni wanted to protect me and preach the Dharma. In addition, her colleagues were jealous, angry, etc., that is, some right and wrong came over, and I soon left. I I am also very afraid of the right and wrong, so I would rather meditate on my own, and I don’t want to be right and wrong. Then I realized at the time that it is necessary to make sense of the Dao sentiment between people, even if they are fellow daoists, It’s the same between women. We must maintain a proper mentality. Don’t say that the two of us are the best, the best. Don’t be like this. It’s no good, because the two of us are really good, even if If there is no jealous obstacle caused by other people, each other's mood will be more ups and downs, and worry about what will happen to her. This is not very appropriate, or it is really necessary to maintain a normal heart. We can work together and interact more if we are deeply bound. It’s best to interact with each other when it comes, and let it fade when the fate is gone. This is the best way.
I have had the experience once and felt very hard, so this is the second time, and nothing happened at all, it caused such deep pain, so I think this is also the manifestation of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, so that I can have some profound pains. Introspection, and then made me more tolerant, I feel that I am more resistant to pressure, more tolerant, and then more able to see through and let go. This effort goes deeper, this is not easy, if you You will not improve without the feeling of pain. Really, the stronger your feeling is, the higher your improvement will be.
why?Why the more you see through?The more you put it down?Seeing through is because we truly understand our own helplessness through this incident. We all beings cannot do anything or change the external environment. If the other party misunderstands him, it is to misunderstand. The other party cannot be happy, and he just cannot be happy. It may be because it is not so doctrinally. It is impossible to understand our thoughts and realm. It may be due to various factors. All in all, it is complicated and the relationship between people is impossible... It is really impossible to make us expect. Even if you work hard, this is what we have to see through, then after you see through, you have to let go. Letting go is easy, because we are no longer clinging to saying that we must... When this fate is not When it's good, we must let go now, don't think about me and try harder, because no matter how hard you try, it will still be impossible to reach Consummation. This is the five turbid and evil world, and it is absolutely impossible to reach Consummation in the world of phenomena.
I used to hope that we must try to reach Consummation as much as possible. If we don’t reach Consummation, it seems that we don’t have enough effort. No, it’s a matter of fate. It’s not necessarily that we don’t have enough fate and people won’t listen to you. There is no way for you, or that there are internal demons and external obstacles in the whole process of karma, and the intervention of all kinds of karma prevents this matter from being consummated. It is all possible. We have no way to do this, and no one can dominate. Yes, so we can only follow the fate. The fate means that we don’t want to say. We seem to say that we must do something to perfection in order to show that we are practicing diligently. It means that we really have kung fu, no. This doesn't matter, everything is just the emergence of cause and condition.
If I experience this, I don’t have to worry about my lack of kung fu, not necessarily my lack of kung fu, this thing can’t be fulfilled, it’s not necessarily that we haven’t practiced, that’s not enough work, of course we can say that our wisdom is not fulfilled, but you have to know When the Buddha was alive, did the Buddha handle everything perfectly?No, his country was destroyed and he couldn't save him. Devadado was looking for things to fix him and frame him all day. He also managed to conquer him at that time. There is no way, because it is a matter of cause and condition. All events are What arises from the reconciliation of all conditions, this cause and effect... Karma is connected to the three lives, and it is not just a few simple factors in front of you.
I used to have a wish. I think that I still want to do my best. Many things must be done as much as possible. If we do not achieve it, we will feel regretful. It seems that we are not smart enough and our merits are not enough. Of course, it is not wrong to think this way. Just be more humble, feel that you are not good enough, you have to work harder, but in fact it is not at all, because it is not controlled by any of us in the first place. It is predestined to develop in this way, it is to develop in this way, and it is destined to have no fate or no fate. So for me, I really experienced it, and then I let it go. Many things I no longer wish to say that it must be fulfilled. This mind becomes more normal, purer, and more comfortable, because you see through it. You will naturally let go, and if you let go, you will feel at ease.
This is also after you have a deep pain, you will want to say that you really have to let it go. If you don’t let it go, if you don’t let it go, you won’t be able to take it the second time, and you will almost die after one time. After all the changes, the whole person feels very tired. You can’t sleep well, and then it seems like your body is like this. There are so many things and hard work. The fellow practitioners around you can see it. I’ve never seen me so tired. I have been studying for so many years. We have never been like this, we have never had troubles like this, because we don’t depart from the scriptures every day, so we can bring up the right view. Basically, especially after the faith in rebirth is established, the troubles in the past were the problem of troubles and karma. I used to recite the first XNUMX Nian is hard to read, haha, chanting Buddha, confined to retreat to chanting Buddha until you want to hit the wall, do you?It’s to worry about the troubles of rebirth for fear of not being able to rebirth. There are very few things in the world that bother me. After I became a monk, I have already reached this level. Not to mention that after the confidence in rebirth is established, even this biggest trouble, the only trouble Let go of everything. Because people are usually very simple, there is no chance to trigger our karmic habits, and there is no chance for trouble.
This time it really scared me and it hurts. This pain has been accumulated for almost two months. The process is very painful, and the most outrageous thing is that I Po online, making my entire image He is not hesitating to destroy, but I still believe that he is not nauseous. I can’t bear to believe that he has malicious intent to make me die---it’s ugly, I don’t think so, and I’m willing to believe that. I Only think that he is very stupid to do it in this way, just like a child who is ignorant, he does not know that this method is very improper, because his personality is also better and stronger, sometimes People like this who have some big disputes with others, because their conditions are quite good in many aspects, they are also very ethical, and they are also very talented in some aspects, so they have received compliments and praise from many people. Such a person is also accustomed to being aloof.
In addition, I am a bhikshuni and he is a bhikkhu, so he came for granted and took charge of me very strongly, so when he misunderstood that I was tainted, he would feel..... Later, when he scolded me, he was scolding. "Are you still a monk? How are you...", they all scold very well. These are all right. Originally, a monk should keep the precepts and be pure, including thoughts. Of course, ordinary people's standards are based on the Hinayana method and it has not taken care of your thoughts , I take care of my own thoughts very carefully, and take care of my body, speech and mind. Our precepts are not just about things. The body, speech and mind cannot even think of bad thoughts. It is impossible to kill and commit adultery. , We must learn and persevere from our thoughts on any precepts.
Of course, you have not yet become a Buddha. You can’t stay in a very pure state all the time, killing theft and adultery. Sometimes you say, "This person is very annoying, forget it." This is also killing thoughts, and it’s not possible. ,right?But we just know that to be held in this way, the standard is set here, not only in terms of things, we must have not committed in terms of things, but we must not have any thoughts, so he scolded so fiercely, but you scolded It’s okay because there is nothing wrong with this. The question is whether there is such a fact, no, not at all. It is really a misunderstanding, but when the person in question thinks that it is not a misunderstanding, maybe he believes it is true, so how do you explain it may not be. Will believe.
But if we really want to talk, we can talk clearly, because our messages and interactive messages have reservations. The same sentence, if we are the parties involved, explain the meaning of our sentence, it will be very clear, but we don’t. Explain that as soon as the other party heard that he might use his own ideas to interpret it, he would misunderstand it. Those who really want to communicate with each other, or even the real monks, because many of us monks have the precepts, and the monks are determined to be monks. Everyone can have a meeting together, and we can discuss this matter. This is what we do in the precepts. If there are any misunderstandings in various aspects between the monastic groups, we can study together, and then we can bring up the blame, and then everyone, some other fellow Daoists can join in. Get up to solve this matter. If you make a mistake, you can repent. If there is no mistake, you can make it clear. It is all right. Even I dare to go to the monk Qing. It’s best to be able to stop here. In my opinion, there is nothing to do. As long as it becomes clear, it’s okay. I won’t take this matter to my heart. In fact, it’s better because I think Bhikkhus get along with Bhikkhuni. It is also not easy. On the one hand, the precepts must be taken, and the proper measures must be taken. In addition to understanding the rules of the precepts, you must also understand the principles of the Scriptures. You must hold the precepts well and understand the principles. Only then is there a way to "open cover" and hold it well. This is not something that everyone can do well. So if everyone does not have the ability to get along well, it would actually be better to avoid it, not to mention there is another " "Eight Jingfa" is a pinch measure.

According to my current feelings, when encountering such a big blessing from Master Bhikkhu, apart from the Qing monk, I really don’t want to get close to the other bhikkhus anymore. This can’t be said to be a retreat. I still respect the Three Jewels, but For me, there is really no need for me to get close to the monk. With my own practice, I don’t necessarily have to get close to the monk to learn directly, but you said that the blessings of the elders like the Qing monk are of course necessary, and we have to follow him. To learn the precepts, you must serve the teacher. This is very rare. It is a good cause and condition. The Buddha arranged for such a good master to bless me and guide me to learn the precepts. I cherish it very much, but other interactions. , I don’t think other bhikkhu interactions are necessary.
For me, I don’t think it’s necessary, because I’m not accustomed to doing the “eight respects” like some bhikshunis doing very well. I can’t see it and know that I can’t do it. For example, a bhikshuni talks on the phone. Bhikkhus, when you talk on the phone, you have to kneel and talk. This is simply too big for the bhikkhus in an environment where our status and human rights are so high in Taiwan. They can’t accept it, and they can’t adapt. There is a big gap in the form of male superiority and female inferiority. It’s really unaccustomed to ask me to do it. I see them kneeling there and talking. I really can’t kneel down and talk on the phone. Ask questions. The spirit of the real "Eight Respect" should be a respectful method. Respectful to the teacher is OK. This is very reasonable. If you handle it appropriately, don't make it seem too much in terms of form. It seems that the difference between superiority and inferiority is obvious.
Because in each region and every season, you have to implement the respectful standard, and you should be able to adjust the situation and practice. Opportunity, so I invested in the whole road of this practice, but I never imagined that after I entered Buddhism, I really faced the greatest hardship in life, but it was these hardships that made me real. Get rid of merits. The Buddhist scriptures say: "All law can be forbearance," meaning that all the merits and achievements of the world must pass through the level of insults. Small forbearance is small, and great forbearance is great. When you endure it, you can't bear it. There are still objects and realms that can be tolerated, and there is no "I phase" that can be tolerated; when the two are dead, it is a complete achievement of merit, which is the key to achieving true merit.

Later, it turned out to be a weapon that has been used by people in Buddhism for twenty years to hinder my practice. In the end, I am too naive to think that the Buddhist monks will not lie, nor will they hurt others by revenge. They will only help those who seek justice to accomplish their careers, so they will feel these evil consequences. In fact, as long as people are personal, there will be advantages and disadvantages. If you don’t know how to protect yourself, if you accidentally offend someone, you still have to be guilty, even in Buddhism. . Fortunately, my heart was very clear at the time, so along the way, no matter how much hardship, embarrassment, and filth, I can turn into a driving force for earnestness, because I will never bow to power and never threaten. However, this process has also enabled me to develop a strong mind and body, and I have encountered it in my mind. It turned out that the most admired teacher was treated with more horrible revenge than the world because of annoyance, misunderstanding, etc. If I did not get the blessings of Dharma, it would definitely not be able to go all the way to this day. In a few times, I also came to the time when I almost wanted to close my life and die, but I still could break through, so the key to liberation is not how strong the test of the outside world is, but whether it is right. The power of governance, whether the truth of the facts can be positively understood and accepted, this is the most precious merit experience that I have gained when I enter Buddhism. If the practice can seek the Fa in the heart, I can work hard on the emptiness and do it. In the end, the heart is no longer controlled by the outside world, and it is no longer afraid to face the realm. Only then can we get the inner freedom and freedom, and this real merit is the external fame and fortune. , The highly praised by the incomparable joy supreme law. All the external achievements in the world will only bring more industries and more degenerate karma. This is that I have endured the magic test for many years alone, and I will not stop facing more tests in the future. Under the circumstances, I can still be grateful and fearless, because I have truly walked out of the suffering of my own mind, and the pain I have personally endured has also made me more tolerant of the suffering and ignorance of all sentient beings. And understanding, if the cause and destiny are sufficient, I will never give up any sentient being who is destined to me. Even if it is someone who has hurt me a lot, I will help the other person like a benefactor to wake up as soon as possible.
