Confrontation, punishment..., because doing so will only result in a bad relationship, and will definitely not achieve the effect of reducing the opponent. On the contrary, it will aggravate the impure karma of oneself, leading to the longer the practice, the heavier the karma, and the gradual frustration. My own tiny and fragile Bodhicitta.
When facing all kinds of adversity and bad conditions, you should show your compassion and wisdom right now; to endure, tolerate, accept, understand, suffer a loss, give... For example, when the other party takes advantage of you, you must first ( Cultivating oneself) unconditionally accept the other's mind and deeds in order to maintain the righteous thoughts and right deeds that show one’s own compassion and joy, so that you can first form a good relationship with it, and at the same time, you can cultivate yourself rather than others. True virtue, and this kindness and virtue is the only effective way to influence the other party, and then patiently wait for the season to mature, the other party will naturally be willing to cut off evil and cultivate good by observing his virtues and deeds, and be thoroughly reduced.
