The cost of this book is very low, and you can make a big contribution. It doesn't cost ten dollars to make a book in Taiwan. If the quantity is small, it costs ten dollars. If the quantity is large, it only costs seven dollars. Give it to someone else, and he still has time to really have the ability to digest and hold it. If you give him a Tripitaka, he can’t understand it and the cost is high, but this small book can achieve this effect.
So what should he do if he doesn't study Buddhism?You can also become attached to him, how can I say?Like the "praise the teacher" and "respect" we talked about earlier, the second part of "respect" is about being a disciple, even if you are in school, you are a student or a child at home, this The spirit is common. How to be a junior, a student or even a disciple of the Buddha, this principle is figured out, and everyone will be able to understand it after studying later.
So even if he doesn’t study Buddhism, you can recite these chants. After you come into contact, you will have a little bit of understanding. After you have a little bit of understanding, you can have the opportunity to attract people who are not yet mature in learning Buddhism. The connection with him is not necessarily limited to Buddha disciples. Buddha disciples also include the four or even the seven. In ancient times, Confucianism taught in private schools. The students lived in the teacher’s home day and night. They knew each other well and any problems would appear at any time. Only when they appeared, there was a way to cure the symptoms, and then they could talk about practice.If you are just now because everyone is well-received, communication is also very developed.Technological communication is also very advanced, so it is easy to obtain magic weapons. It is often self-study. Seeing CDs and reading materials on the Internet is actually self-study. You may not really follow a teacher in practice.
If you really follow a teacher in practice, he understands your situation and can give you pointers at any time, so what about you?As a disciple?To be able to truly implement various rules around the teacher, you have to serve the teacher.These disciples rules, these rules are to be implemented, how do you do it if you have no target?That's just empty talk, so there is no way to do it satisfactorily. Therefore, our title here also emphasizes "following the teacher". We talk about it based on this standard to guide everyone in implementing the rules of discipleship.

How to implement concretely, in general, there are several directions that are the trivialities of life from a young age. This also covers the Confucian disciple rules. It is very convenient now. You don’t need these, but you have to master its spirit, and the teacher needs you in life. You have to serve, you have to run errands, big and small things.
Big?It is so large that it must protect all the affairs of the teacher's internal and external dissemination. The layman has the practice of the layman, and the monk has the practice of the monk.The monks in the monastery also belong to the guardian or internal guardian, and the layman belongs to the external guardian, and the layman has a teacher. You must rely on a teacher to study, then you must also follow the discipleship.
Our disciple regulation is not just a Confucian disciple regulation, some of the things that we serve in life, here are so big that we must protect all the affairs of the teacher's propaganda, so that we can achieve Consummation.The relationship between the relative teacher and you is the same. He can and must guide you to achieve it. Therefore, a relationship between teachers and students is a lifetime, is mutual achievement to completion, not like our current conceptual illusion of ordinary people. Anyway, there are many mages, and the teacher can change one at any time.
It can be changed, nothing wrong!The problem: You have never really established a teacher-student relationship, and you have never really learned the basics of disciple rules, and there is no way to do it. So modern people don't understand, don't understand, who is the loser?Myself, because there is no way to truly achieve real Fuhui, so we all have to learn and learn from the beginning!
The ten verses of this disciple rule, if we really do it, all the virtues and wisdom of becoming a Buddha can be achieved. On the contrary, if this virtue is not completed, it is a lack of virtue, so there is a little lack of virtue. The higher the price, the more respect him, and the more he feels that his power is boundless. How about buying a ticket to study, right?It seems that there are some professors and lecturers who value this guidance.Because the school teacher’s salary is taken from the education unit, you don’t have a direct relationship with him, and you don’t seem to have to be obedient, but is there any real respect in your heart?not necessarily.
It's worse in Buddhism, why?All are free, free ones seem to be worthless, because there are too many to choose whatever you want, those who are beginners have no ability, no knowledge of goods, no knowledge of treasures, no ability to appreciate, of course you don’t understand, there is no way to cherish There is no way to raise this kind of respect. This is a common phenomenon. Just look at your own behavior.
You are watching this satellite TV station, just choose to watch this for a few minutes, and watch "This is a good talk, how can this be said today?" It is really just a few random comments, it seems to be very common, but this kind of relationship is with you It doesn't make much difference to watch a TV series, or to listen to a performer or a singer performing, such a casual comment is no different.You are not studying the Fa, and you are not listening to the Master’s explanation with the attitude of studying the Fa. This is a bit uncomfortable after listening to it. If you change to a different one, you can change whatever you choose. In such a process, can the Fa be produced for you? power?No way, you didn't listen at all, you just heard a lot of names, that's it.
Then let's calmly think about it. If we really want to study the Fa, how much influence will the Master have on us, and how much influence will the teacher have on us and kindness?Our Dharmakaya Wisdom Fate is equivalent to this. This Dharmakaya Wisdom Fate can help us solve the problem of reincarnation from generation to generation. It can save us countless lives. This Wisdom Fate, what kind of virtue is given to us by the parents of this life?Give us a life, a body can do many things conveniently, this is our kindness to us in this life.
But the teacher's kindness to us lasts for generations, why?If our Dharmakaya and wisdom and destiny are truly given to achieve merit, we can go beyond the three realms to solve the suffering of continuous rebirth from generation to generation. In other words, the life of each generation will be saved. Because you have not been saved, you must continue to reincarnate for one lifetime and one lifetime. However, once you get the life of the Dharma body from the teacher, you can truly become a Buddha and solve the problem of reincarnation. This big problem is equivalent to saving your lives for countless lives, so the teacher’s kindness exceeds Parents, it has such an influence. This is for us to think carefully, and when we understand the truth, we can naturally be grateful and respectful to the teacher.

Now, generally speaking, we have a very common phenomenon. I have also heard a few laymen. One of them was particularly shocking. He said that he complained to me during the conversation: "I have listened to a certain old master’s lecture. It’s been more than ten years.” His tone seemed to say, “I’ve been very loyal to listen to him for more than ten years. I can count on him. For more than ten years, I have studied with him for more than ten years.” But recently he (Old Master It’s said that the Fa has already been taught a bit changed. Maybe the Dharma that he thought was very corresponding before, but now he may be talking about the Fa of the world more or variously. He (the old master) has different causes and conditions, so he commented:" This old mage has changed and deteriorated, so I don’t want to learn from him", and it’s nothing more than not. He also said, "I wasted more than ten years of time", which shocked me, "Wasting "?Why don't you say that you owe the teacher's tuition for more than ten years, right?He didn't collect money from you, and then he didn't call you to study. You came to study by yourself. How could he owe you?I really don't deserve to fight the injustices for this old mage, but I am not just fighting the injustices for the old mage, I am fighting for the whole Sangbao, the whole Three Jewels.
The Three Treasures educate sentient beings unconditionally. You have to protect them. The more they protect, the more they protect. If their concept is wrong, the more they protect, the more terrible and the worse the tone. How much the Three Treasures owe him has not yet been repaid. Everyone must understand The Three Treasures are more rewarding than any sentient being. Prince Shakyamuni doesn’t want it or anything. He practices asceticism to save sentient beings. He stipulates that disciples must not charge or make profits. They must beg alms for all sentient beings. The opportunity of Futian, and then because you have cultivated the cause and blessing, you will naturally become bound to you, give you Dharma, give you free Dharma, and help you to leave the Three Realms.
Through such an interaction, the lay layman allows everyone to cultivate blessings and form a bond among the Three Jewels. After you cultivate the cause, will you receive the reward yourself in the future?From the beginning to the end, the Three Treasures didn’t need you for anything, and didn’t really use anything on themselves. They were all used to donate to you, to benefit all sentient beings for your support. This is a situation, so these concepts have not been clarified. If you do, I have been creating karma, and the more I do, the more mistakes I make. Therefore, my first verse emphasizes praise and respect to the master. It is to establish the foundation for everyone, but also to guide and prevent everyone from continuing to create karma.

Why can you progress so fast?The most important thing is rooted work, with special attention.In the early days, as long as every fellow practitioner really understood the attitude and respect for studying the Fa, it took a long time for everyone to take root and correct the correct concept. So once this root is established, you can say In less than a year, everyone is making rapid progress, and he has the ability to draw inferences about one another, because after your learning attitude is right, you will be teaching later, and you can easily receive it respectfully and respectfully immediately and follow the teachings.
On the contrary, if you don’t have this respect, your attitude towards cultivating and studying the Fa is wrong. No matter how long you study it, you will probably be like the person we just talked about. After more than ten years of study, it seems to be very faithful to learn from this old master. Suddenly Just for a little bit of what he thought, the old master's style was different, and he totally denied it.This is really true, and it means that I completely wasted my time, more than ten years of time was wasted, but there is no such root.
In fact, the Three Treasures have all kinds of skill in educating sentient beings. With different seasons, various so-called magical power changes. This is definitely not what ordinary people can imagine and understand as disciples, so this attitude It’s very important. You must not have the slightest suspicion about following the teacher. The root of goodness has matured, so Fusha Buddha just think it’s easier to save one person, and it’s relatively difficult to save many people. Many people don't have these concepts.
I didn’t know at the beginning. When I became a monk, Master asked me to shave. I originally asked for a magic weapon. How did I know that I was destined to be shaved today. I don’t know. I don’t know anything, so Master told me. I have one condition for the ordination. I said whether it is possible to study the Fa with Master Jingkong, because I knew it in my heart at that time. I I don’t follow karma, as if I’m forced to accept other karma, and then I’ll suffer a whole life like this, and I will not be able to get out, so even if I insist on wrong, I must complete a decision at the time, so in the end I can’t agree to the original agreement. So I decided to leave. I asked for leave from my master. I left and went to the teacher’s public to study the Fa. Then I violated the rules of discipleship at that time. I don’t know. But because we don’t understand, we don’t understand, and we don’t understand our duty as a disciple in advance, we shouldn’t have our own meanings, we should listen to the teacher’s teachings completely, so I can’t achieve this part to achieve perfection. Maybe we want to shave you first before waiting. Waiting, in short, this cause may be very complicated, so now many people don't know what a duty as a disciple is, and how to use that scale, they don't know how to handle it. When you are in school, the teacher-student relationship in the current school is very alienated, even very bad, so the students don’t listen to the teacher very much, even if they listen very shallowly, like the ancient private school, the students live in the teacher’s house and are very close. , The degree of intimacy is far beyond that of your parents, so you must be obedient to the teacher's words. You must be a disciple if you meet this standard. Then the teacher is also responsible for your Dharma body, wisdom, life, and you must be educated. At least you can’t lead you astray. If you go for charity, can you do a charity and you will achieve the good roots of the Nine Tribulations and become a Buddha early. It’s impossible, impossible, the entire Tzu Chi, our most representative charity in Taiwan is charity Master Ji Chengyan, you have so many charitable merits in the world that you can’t compare to a teacher. The good roots that it can grow can not be compared with the blessings of the cultivation. One is born, and there is something in it. The merit is in it, and there is merit in it, so the blessings that arise from the merit are boundless.
So if you are aiming at the good laws of the world, then of course you are the heart of the bodhisattva. You have compassion and you do good and relief. This is all very good, but the rewards are different. Of course, it depends on the heart of the person you are doing. Motivation, your mentality is different, and the blessings you feel are different, so in addition to cultivating the great blessing and cultivating the roots of good fortune, especially in this process, we must continue to raise our respect for the Three Jewels and our respect for the teacher. Respect your heart, because this is the key for us to enter the Tao.

This is a common sense, but There is no absolute thing, because Karma III, our receiving body in this life is a receiving body, so it may be destined for a certain day, a certain year, a certain day, and what disease will happen to it, and what will happen?

I went to check the information. It looked like this, but the real cause was me. It’s not clear, but he himself has been practicing asceticism all his life, so Hong Kong’s Lantau Island is particularly humid, and he lives deep in the mountains and practices asceticism all the year round. Of course, this will have an effect on a physical body, but if you look at it, oops ….. Such an old man is not physically fit in a wheelchair, and may not be able to cultivate well. In fact, this is not right. Then I really get close to him. I know that there is a more important condition for observing whether the cultivation is good or not. The person who really has the cultivation, then he will not suffer from physical illnesses, or even all external rebellion. The influence of fate, this is really kung fu, I am close to him by his side. The first two years were when he had not yet received the ordination, and when the first year had not yet received the ordination, it was very difficult to be a minority, and the karma has not yet disappeared, blessings. I have not paid enough, I have been studying, I have no chance, no chance to get close to him.
In the third year, I went back to Jiexia for ninety days and followed him every day. In the afternoon, I followed him for about two hours. It is impossible to have a chance in the jungle where the abbot of the jungle is strict in the precepts. For example, if I meet a lot of unjust relatives and creditors, adversity means that your karma is too heavy, so you have so many adversities. The creditors come.
But you can also look at it from another angle. It’s because you have cultivated well, and the grievances and creditors all come quickly to ask you for merit, those who want debts, and those who want debts quickly ask for them, or the more the devil is afraid of you, because you have cultivated. Okay, so you are influential, and the devil is afraid that you will take away his descendants and believers, right?Therefore, the obstacles that appear to slander you will be more severe than others. It is not your general concept that you want to say that this person has cultivated well, so everyone likes him, treats him well, and encounters good times. This means It’s unreasonable. If you understand the cause and effect of the three lives and understand all aspects of cause and effect thoroughly, you won’t be able to discern whether a person’s cultivation is good or not.
